Thank you, Bill. It is Wednesday, November 27th, 2024. Here's just happening today in America.
NIH, no longer on the run, missing man found, and you won't be alone on the roads today.
That's all coming up, then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, Stanford trained physician and economist, J. Badacharya, was just named by Donald
Trump as the next director of the National Institute of Health.
This will have to be confirmed by the Senate.
He will be in charge of directing the nation's medical research.
That's government funded, 18,000 employees, $48 billion in funds for scientific
research. Fifty thousand grants that affect more than 300,000 researchers at 2,500
universities and medical schools. But Acharya was a vocal opponent against all the COVID
restrictions nationwide. You may remember the Great Barrington Declaration. He was one of the
three authors of that piece against all the COVID lockdowns. An animal rights extremist
20 years ago bombed a biotechnology company in California. Then a month later, bombed a nutritional
products company also in California. No one is injured, but the second bomb was rigged in a way to
hurt the first responders. He was from a group called the Revolutionary Cells Animal Librigation
Brigade. This guy targeted these two companies because they did experimental tests on animals
with drugs and different chemicals. He's been on the run for 20 years. He was on the FBI's
most wanted fugitives list, and he was just caught in a very rural part of North Wales in the
United Kingdom. In a very different context, a California man went missing 25 years ago. And USA
today just wrote an article the other day with the headline, he's been in an LA hospital
for weeks, and they have no idea who he is. Can you help? Sure enough, his sister saw the article.
Phone calls were made. The local police captain said the sister was super excited and very appreciative
that we took the time to follow up on it. She was over the moon and anxious to call other family
members to let them know that she found their brother. It's going to make their Thanksgiving that
much better. Save travels if you are one of the 80 million travelers on the road this week. This
would be a 2% increase over last year. 71 million traveling by car. That would be 1.3 million more
people on the road than last year. Please drive safely. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Here is to our spiritual ancestors. Our founding great grandfathers are wonderful pilgrims.
I'm Mike Slater from Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly with your message.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Wednesday, woke is on the run about time, awful movement that is about as un-American as you can get.
Why?
Because supporting biological males competing against females is wrong.
and can be dangerous on the playing field, in the boxing ring, in the pool.
Ditto the intrusion into women's locker rooms by biological men, even if they have transition.
I don't care if someone wants to change genders, but that person has absolutely no right to impose their status on anyone, period.
Then their skin color.
It is absolutely wrong to assess an American based on pigmentation.
We have strong laws against hurting African Americans and other minorities.
These are good laws.
But now the woke fanatics want to discard merit and replace it with race preferences,
mandated by the government, employers, and colleges.
That is a flat-out denial of equal.
opportunity. A woke country is not a just country. Allowing criminals to hurt people and walk
free is not justice. It's dangerous. Advocating government's seizure of assets through extreme
taxation destroys achievement. Kamala Harris was the most woke presidential candidate in the
history of this country. She got smoked and she got what she deserved. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve
the message by writing it, you can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com,
name in town if you wish to opine. Let's go to the mail. We got Brian Kacer, South Bend,
Indiana, home of Pete Buttigieg, my favorite guy, with Matt Gett's resigning his house seat
and withdrawing for a nomination of Attorney General, is possible for him to be appointed
senator by Governor DeSantis to replace Marco Rubio. Sure, but that's not going to happen.
Nobody's going to touch Gates right now.
However, Matt Gates himself may run for governor of Florida.
Keep your eye on that.
Phil on a message board, St. George, Utah.
Bill, the Trump charges were dismissed without prejudice.
What does that mean?
It means they can come back.
If a judge dismisses charges with prejudice, case is done forever.
Without, they can reformulate.
They won't. It's not going to happen, but they could.
Ralph Bean, Laplace, Louisiana. Now that the election interference lawsuit against Donald
Trump has been dropped, is there a way for the president-elect to recover legal fees?
Only if the judge says, here's your legal fees. That's the only way. Up to the judge.
Shelly, on the message board. I agree with your assessment of three.
that are still going to be challenged by the Senate.
But I think Bobby Kennedy, Jr. will be confirmed.
Godspeed to him.
RFK Jr. is going to have a very hard time in front of the Senate.
Extremely hard time.
Tulsi Gabbard might get through.
Okay?
I can't see RFK Jr. again.
And with all conspiracy stuff, Shelly, boy, they're going to hammer him.
Boom.
Hex-F depends, depends, but of all three, I think Kennedy is the one in most jeopardy right now.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
40 years ago today, one of the most successful songs ever was released in the USA and abroad.
The single raised millions of dollars to fight world hunger.
Here is the story behind, we are the world.
In the early 1980s, Irish musician Bob Geldorf traveled to Africa after hearing about
a famine in Ethiopia.
He returned to London, recruiting Europe's top artists to record a fundraising single record
to ease world hunger.
The supergroup consisted of U2, Duran Duran, Boy George, and Menace
and many others. They released Do They Know It's Christmas in December. It remains the best-selling
single in British history. The Americans came together to record their own song for Africa.
We Are the World, featuring Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, and
On and On. In total, both records raised $100 million to fight the famine in Africa.
With the crisis continuing in Ethiopia, Geldaugh proposed live aid an ambitious global charity concert.
Organized in less than two months, live aid was launched on Saturday, July 13, 1985.
The lineup included more than 75 acts, including Elton John, Queen, Madonna, Sting, the Beach Boys, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Eric Clapton.
The majority of these artists performed at either Wembley Stadium in London,
or at Philadelphia's JFK Stadium.
Satellites beamed the live television broadcast to more than one billion viewers in 110 countries.
More than 40 nations held telethons for African famine relief during the concert.
The song We Are the World raised $60 million for food relief in Africa.
That's the equivalent of $150 million today.
10% of that was used to fight homelessness here in America.
Was the whole thing successful?
We don't know.
Once the money went into Ethiopia and other famine-ravaged countries,
there was no accountability.
The world hopes it got to the victims.
Back after this.
Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines.
