Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Friday, November 29th, 2024.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
here's what's happening today in America.
Trump's Thanksgiving message,
Cabinet bomb threats,
Zuckerberg to Mara Lago,
and Socials Band.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here
with your message today.
But first, Trump's Thanksgiving message
from his truth social account
said, happy Thanksgiving to all,
including to the radical left lunatics
who have worked so hard to destroy our country,
but who have miserably failed.
And we'll always fail
because their ideas and policies
are so hopelessly bad
that the great people of our nation
just gave a landslide victory to those who want to make America great again.
Don't worry.
Our country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be more than ever
before, proud to be an American.
About 25 people at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, I think fall into that radical left
lunatic category.
They tried to stop the parade in front of the Ronald McDonald balloon holding up a sign that
said, don't celebrate genocide, a bunch of anti-Israel protesters.
But police had none of it.
They were all arrested.
They postponed the parade for about it.
Five minutes.
About a dozen of Trump's cabinet picks have been the target of pipe bomb threats, mostly at
their homes.
Don Jr.
wrote on Twitter, enough is enough with this type of deranged crap.
Bomb squads were indeed brought in, no pipe bombs were found.
Mark Zuckerberg made a trip to Mar-a-Lago had dinner with Donald Trump and others, bringing
together the founder of Facebook, and the former president who was once banned from it.
Trump, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, said,
Mark Zuckerberg, obviously, he has his own interest and he has his own company and his own
agenda.
But he's made clear that he wants to support the national renewal of America under Trump's
leadership.
Zuckerberg probably not happy about this story.
The Parliament of Australia has banned all social media for anyone under the age of 16 entirely
first law of its kind in the world.
So it applies to TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit, X, and Instagram.
there are fines for up to 50 million Australian dollars, it's $33 million,
for systemic failures to prevent children younger than 16 from having accounts.
It passed the Senate 34 to 19 and the House 102 to 13, overwhelming support.
The law gives the socials a year to figure out how to keep 15-year-olds off the platform entirely
before they will start to enforce it.
One argument against this is it violates the privacy of those who have to prove that they're over 15 to get an account.
And others say that this could further isolate LGBTQ kids who need that.
online community to find support.
I'm Mike Slater for the podcast, Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly with your message of the day.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, lots of angst among left-wing Americans as the person they loathe the most,
once again, inserts himself into the history books.
And when disappointment rises, so does.
the blame game. The Democrats lost to Donald Trump because Joe Biden is the second worst president
ever. The foppish James Buchanan leads the league, but Biden tried very hard to overtake him.
Most incompetent presidents inherited problems. Herbert Hoover comes to mind.
Clueless, old herb did little to help destitute Americans ruined by the Great Depression.
Hoover didn't cause the economic collapse. He simply failed to mitigate it.
Buchanan inherited a rebellious South in 1856 and did nothing to tamp things down.
As he walked out of the White House, he might have said, hey, Abe Lincoln, let me introduce you to the Civil War.
President Biden ignited inflation, opened the southern border to all, foolishly withdrew from Afghanistan, on and on.
As Barack Obama once said, quote, don't underestimate Joe's ability to F things up.
The insecure Kamala Harris could not address any of Biden's mistakes.
To her, things were swell all along the watchtower.
So she lost, and now her support has wanted to blame someone.
Well, that would be Joe and Cam, correct?
As they say, reality bites.

Public broadcasting, PBS, NPR, I have to agree.
It is advertising for the Democratic Party.
Why is the taxpayer doing this?
So I got a call into Vibak Ramaswami.
And I'm hoping to get them on next week.
This is target number one.
You've got to get this federal money.
I think it's $550 million a year to PBS and NPR.
No.
No.
For what?
That's got to go.
And that's discretionary spending.
So they can knock that out fast.
Simon Neal in Jackson, Mississippi.
Mr. O'Reilly, I'm thankful for you this Thanksgiving.
and the coverage that you provide, enjoy the holiday,
and I recommend the Christmas movie a very corgi Christmas.

We'll use them.
Holly and Terry Dogg's doing better, by the way.
So for those of you were right in.
Katie Tesmer, Metamora, Michigan.
A lot of Michigan viewers tonight.
My dad was diagnosed with moderate dementia.
He lives in a small memory care home.
And he's reading to pass the time.
Started him on a killing series after we watched the News Nation special
on confronting the presidents together and he is devouring them.
Well, I'm really glad I could help your dad.
So we have all of the killing books plus confronting the presidents in one bundle.
All right?
That is one of our premier gifts on bill o'Reilly.com at a Christmas store.
that's 14 separate gifts for a very reasonable price.
But more importantly, you know, people who are elderly and this and that, I mean,
it really gives them a lot of joy because the books are fun to read and you learn a lot.
Anyway, best for your dad, Katie, you're a good daughter.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might, not know. Christmas a few weeks away,
despite high inflation, economists predict Americans will spend $1 trillion on gift giving.
Here are the most popular presents to put under the tree in 2024.
For adults, it's all about technology. Best sellers are headphones, tablets, wireless chargers,
smart watches. Another popular genre, kitchen appliances. The average family spends $200 on coffee makers,
non-stick frying pans, waffle irons, et cetera.
For the 25th year in a row, the most sought-after gift for the urchins video games,
Sony, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, generate $50 billion in sales each holiday season.
The number one present this Christmas, the gift card.
Americans exchange $300 billion in gifts.
certificates each December. Popular brands, Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, Target. New on the list,
Donald Trump-related merchandise. Folks are buying maga hats, t-shirts, even bedazzled jackets.
Wow. Now, all of these presidents are a boon for the economy. Christmas time creates 200,000
temporary jobs across the land. But buyer beware. Most Americans use their credit cards to
purchase gifts. Studies show 25% of the public incurred significant debt during the holidays.
The typical household owes an additional $1,000 by New Year's Day. And here's something else
you might not know. The most wonderful time of the year is also the most stressful.
A recent survey found 23% of adults do not like seeing their own relatives. One in five,
worry about picking the right gift, a quarter to say the worst part of the season is a shortage
of money. Ninety-five percent of Americans now carry some kind of debt. In total, families owe
$1.1 trillion to the credit card companies. For excellent gifts this Christmas, please consider
the Bill O'Reilly.com Christmas store. Great deals on books, team normal, not woke merchandise,
and premium memberships back after this.
