Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Friday, November 3rd, 2023.
Here's what's happening today in America.
A pause in Gaza.
Classes canceled to Cornell.
AI used for evil in New Jersey.
And we have voting day in some places on Tuesday.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill will be here with your message of the day.
But first, Joe Biden has called for a pause in the Israel Hamas
war he was giving a speech at a fundraiser in minneapolis when a woman stood up and said as a rabbi
mr president if you care about jewish people i need you to call for a ceasefire interesting argument
and mr biden replied i think we need a pause a pause means give time to get the prisoners out now
the white house has been careful to not make public declarations like that but this protest or heckler
got him off script.
The White House has said they do not want to dictate how Israel carries out their military operations,
but now the President of the United States has called for a pause.
Ivy League School Cornell University has canceled classes today to acknowledge the, quote,
extraordinary stress its campus has been under after one of their students made violent
anti-Semitic threats on campus.
Patrick Dye was arrested, federally charged with saying online that he wanted to kill Cornell
Jewish students. He said he wants to shoot up the kosher dining hall and that he would bring an assault
rifle to campus to shoot Jewish people. Meanwhile, the vice president made his speech about the need
for all of us to address the growing problem of Islamophobia. I school in New Jersey is in a bit
of turmoil as boys were sharing naked pictures of girls in the school that were made with artificial
intelligence software.
The kids took the faces of girls from
the countless photos that kids post
online and with a free
or cheap AI tool on their phone
put the faces on artificial intelligence made
bodies and it looks real. Parents say
the girls are distraught and humiliated and feel
powerless and worry about what happens
that these fake pictures get out there if they're looking
for jobs, college. There's a big vote in Ohio
on Tuesday. Issue 1. Pro-lifers
should vote no. Pro-abortion people will vote
yes, but it's all written
in a potentially confusing way, but that is
on Tuesday. There's another election also
in Kentucky for governor, a state
where the state legislature is Republican, but
the governor is Democrat, and this matters
because the senator, Mitch McConnell's
81, and not well.
So if he passes away or
resigns, who gets to pick the next
senator? The Democratic governor or
the Republican state legislature? These votes
are on Tuesday. Mike Slater, Bill
O'Reilly with your message of the day. Next.
Let's face it,
the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, the current brawl over Hamas attacking Israel is a worldwide basket of contention.
At the heart of it all is violence reaped upon innocent people.
but deciding who exactly is innocent is extremely difficult the civilians murdered by
Hamas in early October certainly were victims as were those murdered on 9-11 in the
USA no debate that's the true but what about the Palestinian voters who have
embraced the terrorists and rejected the more rational Palestinian Authority are
they victims when Israel strikes back? Support for Hamas and Gaza is almost 60%. And those who
enable terrorism aren't really innocent, are they? In Afghanistan, for example, the brutal Taliban
regained power because individual Afghani citizens did not stand up against them. That despite 20
years of American support. Do I feel sorry for the average Afghani? No, I'm
I do not. Back home in the state of Illinois, fanatical leftist J.B. Pritzker was elected governor in
2019. Despite incredible violence in Chicago, Pritzker has made things even worse by championing a
insane no-bail law. So are the people in Illinois victims? Well, those who voted for Prisker
are not, but the innocent people getting hurt by the criminals are. There comes a point when
people get the government they deserve. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it.

to opine. Now let's go to the mail. Kathleen, concierge member, Christopher Ray is a traitor.
He may have been a different person when climbing the ladder, but he has crossed the line
his current capacity. His FBI chief appears he does not want to lose his lucrative job,
so he looks the other way on the Biden case. And it's true he does.
No FBI, vomit on any of this.
Albert, concierge member.
Thank you, Albert.
The best person for president is Rhonda Santis.
He's a winner, great leadership abilities, not afraid to step on toes, tough negotiator.
It might not be the best in the media, but he would be the best candidate.
Okay, he's not doing well, you know, everybody knows that, and it's more about his presentation than what he did in Florida, in my opinion.
Lois, the Babylon B, said the most popular move in Mike Pence's campaign, was ending it.
That's kind of mean.
How can Pence now support Trump after taking such a hard stance against him?
One name, Ted Cruz.
Remember how Trump attacked Cruz eight years ago?
And Cruz supported Trump.
Matthew Presler, Bismarck, North Dakota.
Bill, you said you're Halloween on Halloween.
the Justice Department's most corrupt you've ever seen.
Jay Edgar Hoover built it, and he was corrupt and sinister.
Excellent letter, Matthew.
Here is the difference.
So if you're he-killing the mob, we go through Jay Edgar Hoover's corruption,
and he was unbelievably corrupt.
Broke laws, amassed power, blackmail, you name it.
He did it.
But he didn't tilt the agency in a political Democrat-Republic.
way. That's what the FBI has done the last 10 years, influencing the actual elections of this
country. So who would you say would be worse? Comey, Ray, or Jay Gouffer? Excellent letter,
though. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
Data from the U.S. Census Bureau finds 70% of American households own one pet.
From pythons to parakeets, here's a quick look at the roster.
At least 60 million families own a dog, 50 million a cat, 13 million fish, 4 million reptiles.
The pet business, one of the biggest industries in the USA.
Folks fork out $100 billion a year in food, toys, and medical care, and that figure is rising.
Since the COVID pandemic, the adoption rate for new puppies is up 55%.
Most popular breeds, the American Pit Bull, Mexican Chihuahua, the Labrador Retriever.
According to the University of Chicago, getting a new pet is beneficial for your help.
Adoption can reduce anxiety, release endorphins, and most importantly, get you off the couch.
Harvard studies show owners of pets are 54% more likely to get their recommended dose of outdoor activity than other adults,
and that may add two to four years to the typical.
life span. And here is something else you might not know. America's obsession with pets
goes back to the Revolutionary War. Canines have been companions to most American presidents,
beginning with George Washington. George owned a greyhound called Corn Wallace, named after the
British General Washington vanquished at Yorktown.
There is a downside to all of this.
Bringing non-humans into the home poses some danger.
Six million people are rushed to the ER due to incidents with domesticated animals primarily
bites.
100 Americans die each year from injuries caused by their own pet.
More than sharks, bears, bees, wolves, and snakes attacking combined.
Watch out Fido. Back after this.
Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines.
