Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Monday, November 3, 2025.
Here's this happening today in America.
Guns ablazing.
Harvard bombing.
Not far enough.
An election day tomorrow.
It's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here
with your message of the day.
But first, President Trump said he has instructed the Pentagon
to prepare for possible action in Nigeria,
saying the U.S. could go in guns ablazing.
and to stop aid to the country if the government there continues to allow the killing of Christians.
The president said if that happens, the USA will immediately stop all aid and assistant to Nigeria
and may very well go into that now disgraced country guns ablazing to completely wipe out
the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.
I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action.
Warning, the Nigerian government better move fast.
Trump said he has designated Nigeria, a country of particular.
particular concern, which is a legal designation from the State Department, for countries that have
severe violations of or against religious freedom.
The mainstream media has done quite a job of silencing this story, downplaying this story.
They talk about an explosion that happened at the Harvard Medical School, but that an explosion
was intentional bombing.
A university police officer responded to a fire alarm.
And he tried to stop to, as of still today, unidentified people who were running from Harvard
medical school. This is at 2.48 in the morning. He stopped running after them and then went to
where the explosion went off. Police have released photographs of two people wearing face coverings
and sweatshirts. The president was on 60 minutes this weekend. Among other things, he was asked about
deporting people. Nora O'Donnell said more recently, Americans have been watching videos of
ICE tackling a young mother, tear gas being used in a Chicago residential neighborhood and the
smashing of car windows. Trump said, hmm? She said, have some of these ratings?
The president said, no, I think they haven't gone far enough because we've been held back
by the judges, by the liberal judges that were put in by Biden and by Obama.
And O'Donnell said, you're okay with these tactics?
Trump said, yeah, because you have to get the people out.
Final stretch for many elections across the country, the three most notable races of the races
that are getting the most attention, the mayor of New York City, the communist Muslim
from Uganda, Zohran Mamdani.
has been winning and all the polls.
We'll see who shows up, of course,
and also the governor's race in New Jersey
and the governor's race in Virginia.
Whoever wins the governor's race in Virginia,
Virginia is going to have their first female governor.
Democrats in both of those races have had a slight edge.
But as always, we'll see who shows up on Election Day.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, it is an interesting exercise to try to figure out how President Trump thinks.
But since I've known him for more than three decades, I got it down.
And I am not a sycophant.
I am not somebody who goes, yes, Mr. President.
Yes, sir. Whatever you want. That is not me, as you know. But I understand the man. So let me give you a very vivid example. He goes to Asia and he gets a lot of good stuff in the USA. He comes back and the Trump haters, the Democratic Party. Oh, no, no, no, no. Trip wasn't very good. No, China got the better of him. It's all a bunch of bull.
In his first 10 months in office, President Trump did a hundred times more than Joe Biden did in four years.
That's provable. That is a fact.
Some of the stuff hasn't worked.
And Mr. Trump is certainly way too bellicose, word of the day.
But he goes to Asia, and he told me directly, and Mr. Trump has never lied to me,
that his deals will amount to $2 trillion in benefits.
for America. Now, I can't do the accounting, but again, the man does not lie to me.
So why not give the President the benefit of the doubt? Japan likes them, Malaysia likes them,
Cambodia likes them, China, South Korea likes them. All that is a plus. And let's pray the
China thing works out.
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach it.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might, not know.
33 years ago today, Bill Clinton defeated incumbent President George Bush, the elder,
and Texas billionaire Ross Perrault in a three-way race for the presidency.
Here is the story.
The Arkansas governor secured the day.
Democratic nomination in the summer of 1992. The 46-year-old's platform focused on the economy,
health care, changing the welfare system, modernizing the federal government. His opponent,
Mr. Bush, the incumbent, four years into his first term, his approval rating had slid from
49 percent to 29 percent. Mr. Bush blamed for the faltering stock market, higher taxes,
some chaos overseas.
Ross Perrault announced his candidacy nine months before election day ran as an independent.
The billionaire earned popularity among voters dissatisfied with traditional politics.
Perrault reached out to Democrats and Republicans hiring operatives from both parties as advisors.
The businessman ran a non-traditional campaign focusing on 30-minute television commercials.
He rarely delivered speeches, refused to travel. Unlike Clinton and Bush, Perrault focused exclusively
on the economy. He opposed the North American Free Trade Agreement and vowed to eliminate the
country's national debt. Well, the voters had their say on November 3, 1992. Clinton was elected
with 43% of the popular vote, 37 went to Bush, a staggering 19% for Perot, but he did not win any
electoral votes. In fact, Clinton got 370, 168 went for the Republican George Bush. And here's
something else you might not know. While Ross Perot failed to win, his campaign swayed the election
towards Bill Clinton. Posho Perot siphoned off key voters from the Republicans,
younger people, union members, factory workers. For more information about President Bush,
President Clinton, and our nation's other chief executives, please check out my best-selling book,
Confronting the Presidents. Back in a moment.
