Bill O'Reilly here Friday, November 4th, 2022.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Here's what's happening this week in America.
Twitter censoring the White House.
Democrats deploy Barack Obama to save the Senate.
Americans prepare for the most expensive Thanksgiving dinner in history.
A new study says alcohol, a major health risk for folks under the age of 30.
Also ahead, update listeners sound off, but first Twitter slapping a fake news warning on a tweet
from the White House, wrote the Biden administration, quote, seniors are getting the biggest increase
in their social security checks in 10 years through President Biden's leadership.
Not true, says Twitter.
The company placed a warning on the message explaining the social security payments are increasing
only because of the astronomical inflation rate. Biden had nothing to do with it. The White House later
deleted the tweet. Democrats deploying Barack Obama to save the midterm election. Former president
speaking at campaign events in the Midwest, he also appeared in a series of online ads pushing
progressive candidates. Later surveys show Republicans now have an 85% chance to take the House on Tuesday
and a 53% chance in rising of winning the Senate.
The cost of turkey hitting a record high just three weeks before Thanksgiving.
The nation's biggest meat packers charging 30% more for poultry, beef, 35% more for pork.
Farmers blame high costs on fuel prices.
This Thanksgiving will be the most expensive holiday dinner in history.
The big meal is on track to cost 40% more than it did just three years ago.
Researchers in South Korea warning young people of the danger posed by daily drinking.
Scientists and souls say just one drink a day for two years increases a person's risk of
stroke as they get older by 20%.
That includes people now who don't even think about stress.
strokes. Alcohol abuse in the USA cost taxpayers at least $250 billion every year because of
health care, loss of productivity, car accidents, and premature death. In a moment, update listeners

the day. Listeners sound off. We do this each Friday. You can
reach me Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. That's easy. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to
opine. John Holtzdale, Pennsylvania. Last year I spent $2,000 for heating oil. This year,
the same amount will cost me $4,000 at today's price of $6.18 a gallon. Now that is going
to hurt my entire financial portfolio. And you're not alone, John. Pennsylvania is a cold
place. But Minnesota, Alaska, Maine doubles on heating. Double. And it's wrong. This never should have
happened. But it has. Carol in Duluth, Minnesota. Bill on Fox, one of the liberal co-hosts on the
consistently states the Republicans will dissolve Social Security and doesn't back it up with any
kind of data. The conservative members of the panel never offer a response. Look, I'm not going to
talk about Fox in general, Carol, because I don't really watch it very much, because I'm too busy,
and it's not an agency that it used to be. Everybody knows that. But the Democratic mantra of the Republicans
going to dissolve Social Security. That's so false. It's ridiculous. So maybe the conservatives
just roll their eyes and don't even bother responding to such an absurd premise.
Sean in San Luis Obispo, California, I absolutely agree, O'Reilly with your take on the drug-induced
crime wave being the story about the Pelosi attack. The homeless numbers continue to grow across
California, not just in the urban centers. I'm convinced it is the drugs frying people's brains and
inducing mental psychosis. I don't feel there is enough warning about this. And you're absolutely
right. So if you're taking hard narcotics for a long period of time, your brain is going to
change, sometimes violently. And there are millions of people, as I told Chris Cuomo on news
nation last week roaming around the country who will hurt you. And absolutely nothing is
being done to sanction those people. Nothing. They're out there and at any moment they can
wreak violence. This is a growing, dangerous story. We're on it and everybody should know
about it. Stephen Fargo, North Dakota. How come if I want to
donate to a political campaign, they ask for my employer's information. Hey, Stephen, look, never,
never give personal information to anyone unless it's your doctor. Steve Peoria, Arizona,
Bill recently finished killing the legends, and before that killing Patton, it struck me that
the amount of information you and Martin Dugard, your co-author, present in all your books,
is astronomical, how long does it take to write them? A year, six months to research,
and six months to put the words on paper. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by putting it
together. Please visit Bill O'Reilly.com, and I hope you do consider killing the legends.

No. It has been a rough few months for Tom Brady. The Tampa Bay Buck has lost three games in a row
for the first time in 20 years. And he has publicly split from his wife, Giselle Bunchen.
Despite the setbacks, the NFL star remains the most popular athlete in America. Here is a brief
bio on Tom Brady. The 45-year-old was born in 1977, played football for the University of Michigan,
before being drafted by the New England Patriots in the year 2000.
Brady has won seven Super Bowls and five Super Bowl MVP awards, the most in history.
Nobody's even close.
Tom Brady is a workout fanatic.
He begins his regime at 5 a.m. every day, starting with a 45-minute workout, followed by an hour
of football drills, then a deep tissue massage, then 30 minutes on, quote, brain
activities. Brady focuses on his vision. Specialists employ new techniques to help improve his
hand and eye coordination. Throughout the day, he exercises nine different times. All this
effort requires a tremendous amount of calories. Tom Brady only consumes organic and locally grown
foods. He avoids sugar, sweetener, trans fats, caffeine, MSG, alcohol, salt, dairy, tomato,
oil and gluten. He mostly eats high protein meats and brown rice. To stay hydrated, Tom Brady
drinks half his body weight in water every day. That's 115 pounds of H2O.
Sadly, the danger of celebrity that I write about in my book, Killing the Legends,
has crushed Tom Brady to some extent. In his recent,
podcast, he opened up about the personal cost of his superstar status. Said Brady, quote,
I haven't had a Christmas in 23 years. I haven't had a Thanksgiving in 23 years. I haven't
celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are born from August to January. I am not
able to attend funerals and I'm not able to go to weddings. It is difficult, unquote. Indeed,
it is. Famous people in America are not really human beings, are they? They're commodities.
And for Tom Brady, the cycle is down. Back after this.
