Starting point is 00:00:31 Here's this happening today in America. Early voting progress. When will polls close and a Joe Rogan endorsement? That's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message today. But first, early vote totals in Arizona, Republicans expanded their early vote lead over Democrats, 40.8 to 32%. Independence are 26%.
Starting point is 00:00:53 In Pennsylvania, Democrats are still ahead. Now, in 2020, the Democrats had an early voting advantage of, 1.1 million votes going into election day. Democrats said they needed what they call a firewall, an advantage of 500,000 votes to have a chance in Pennsylvania. As of today, the Democrats have an advantage of only 412,000. Now, Republicans still need to show up. They're still behind.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Still got to catch up. But way ahead of where they were in 2020. The schedule for tonight, 7 o'clock Eastern, the polls will close in Georgia and Virginia. George is known for counting their votes pretty quickly, and we'll see if Trump has any real chance in Virginia. Polls closed in Ohio at 7.30 Eastern, big Senate race there. 8 o'clock Eastern, the polls will close in New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Libertarian Party, which is pretty prominent in New Hampshire, just endorsed Trump, and in Pennsylvania and most of Michigan.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Pittsburgh counts faster than Philly, so we'll see if Trump gets into a big lead after Pittsburgh is counted. 9 o'clock Eastern, Arizona, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. and also Iowa. So we'll see if that Des Moines Register poll, which had Kamala winning by three, Arizona and Nevada could take many days to count the votes. Nevada will accept mail and ballots that are postmarked by Election Day, but arrive up to four days after Election Day. On the other hand, Georgia, the Supreme Court just ruled that Cobb County Board of Elections can only count absentee ballots received by 7 o'clock Eastern today. Joe Rogan has endorsed Donald Trump. He interviewed Elon Musk and wrote on Twitter, Elon makes what I think is the most
Starting point is 00:02:31 compelling case for Trump you'll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that's an endorsement of Trump. Elon Musk said, if the Dems win this election, they will legalize enough illegals to turn the swing states, and everywhere will be like California. There will be no escape. This is it. This is your last chance. Go out and vote. I'm Mike Slater. Get in line, stay in line. If the polls close when you're in line, they can't stop you from voting. this done. Bill O'Reilly with your message today. Next. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Tuesday, the last polling before today's vote says about 60% of Americans don't like either presidential contender? No surprise. The demonization of both Trump and Harris
Starting point is 00:04:22 is unprecedented in U.S. history. The prime hate driver is a corrupt media which has abandoned any semblance of fairness and journalistic discipline. News presentations generally have morphed into activist organizations. They seek profit from an audience of true believers, and part of that equation is hating
Starting point is 00:04:45 hating the opposition. Donald Trump reacts emotionally to that reality, lashing out against his media enemies. Kamala Harris largely ignores vitriolic statements against her, understanding her deep advantage, as the vast majority of the press is leftist. Observing from the sidelines, fair-minded voters understand the playing field. Vice President Harris is a person of limited vision totally dependent on the progressive machine to guide her. Donald Trump is a battered political warrior who often makes rhetorical mistakes. It is easy to rail against him. Caught in the middle is the country. My belief is that the progressives will cause far more damage to the USA than the MAGA platform. Patriotic Americans will make the call as it should be. Hopefully,
Starting point is 00:05:43 there will be brighter days ahead. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to opine. All right, to mail, we got John. I see some of Bill's viewers are unhappy with his coverage of Trump because he points out some of the questionable things that Trump says. At least Bill has a disciplinary report, honestly. Selection didn't have to be this close. I love Trump. but his ego gotten away. Bob, concierge member, Bob has direct access to me and you will see you at the Q&A tonight, Bob.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Voted early for the first time. Lines have been huge here in Minnesota. I have delirious visions of Donald Trump winning my state. He's competitive there. I don't think he's going to win it, but he's competitive. Pam Klingonsmith, Cincinnati, after reading your column on Sunday,
Starting point is 00:06:42 my first thought was this election is about voter's character I thought most Americans care about the unborn yet there are many who do not we're all over the place character is all over the place now there's no definition of it anymore a Mark Magnus Canada after eight years of left wing and very liberal leadership under Justin Trudeau, our power bills are much higher than yours in the United States. The carbon tax that Trudeau implemented has made our fuel taxes cost higher. And Harris will do that. Slap all kinds of taxes on fossil fuels. He's going to do it. Clark Brasowski, Florida. Why are the taxpayers paying for Kamala Harris's campaign travels? She uses Air Force too.
Starting point is 00:07:41 She has to reimburse. Harris has to reimburse federal government for using Air Force 2 to campaign. In a moment, something you might not know. The 2024 presidential election, one of the most bitter contests in American history.
Starting point is 00:08:35 as contentious as Trump versus Harris may be, it is not even close to the rivalry between John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson. Here is the story. In 1824, a four-way race. Remember, political parties weren't really developed back then. It was four men. And it ended with Andrew Jackson getting 99 electoral votes, Quincy Adams, 84, but you needed 131 electoral votes to win the White House. So, as outlined in the Constitution, the election was sent to the House of Representatives. A period of furious lobbying gripped Congress. Despite Jackson's lead in both the electoral college and the popular vote, lawmakers selected Quincy Adams as the next commander-in-chief.
Starting point is 00:09:35 inaugurated three weeks later. Chaos ensued. Andrew Jackson accused the congresspeople of making a, quote, corrupt bargain. Protests broke out in Pennsylvania, Louisiana, New Jersey, other places. Supporters blame the House of Representative elites for stealing the election. But the American people had their say again four years later. After losing to Adams in the previous election, Andrew Jackson accused the sitting president of procuring young American girls for members of the Russian aristocracy. That sounds like something we would see now in social media. Jackson's campaign even labeled John Quincy's wife, a quote, convicted prostitute. In 1828, Andrew Jackson won the White House with 56% of the
Starting point is 00:10:34 vote. And Quincy was embarrassed. Here's something else you might not know. The 1824 presidential election was the first time the U.S. government tallied the popular vote. Before that, each state simply counted their ballots and formed Congress who won a majority. Some states didn't even bother to have a vote at all. Local legislators decided the delegates.
