Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It's Thursday, November 7th, 2024.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Kamala concedes big tent
Jack Smith quits
and control of the house
It's all coming up
Then Bill's gonna be here
With your message of the day
But first Kamala Harris
Gave her concession speech
Yesterday at Howard University
She said my heart is full today
Full of gratitude
For the trust you've placed in me
Full of love for our country
Full of resolve
The outcome the election is not what we wanted
Not what we fought for
Not what we voted for
But hear me when I say
The light of America's promise
Will always burn bright
I think we'll never hear from her again right
Why would we?
You never hear from Dan Quayle anymore.
I think the next and last time we'll hear from Kamal Harris
is when she certifies the election results on January 6th.
Overlooked in Trump's victory speech in the wee hours of election night,
he said, our supporters came from all quarters,
union, non-union, African American, Hispanic American, Asian American,
Arab American, Muslim American.
We had everybody.
And it was beautiful.
It was a historic realignment.
We are the party of common sense.
We want to have borders.
We want security.
We want to have.
things be good and safe. We want great education. We want a strong and powerful military and ideally
we don't have to use it. Speaking of Arab Americans, results from Dearborn, Michigan. In 2020,
Biden won this vote 88 to 11, so plus 77. This election, Trump won 43 to 36. That's in one
election, an 84 point swing to Donald Trump. The current Department of Justice and Jack Smith is
moving to, quote, wind down their cases against Donald Trump.
The only reason they had these cases at all was to keep him from becoming president,
and that failed, so might as well get rid of them.
MSNBC reporting that the Department of Justice could have done a sprint through the finish line
where they would stay working at this until the very last day and force Trump to fire him
until a new attorney general was appointed.
But the DOJ decided there's no use.
So they quit.
Trump wins again.
Unfortunately, two Senate races have been called Wisconsin.
and Michigan for the Democrats. Very close races. Wisconsin was by 0.9 percent. The Democrat won
Michigan by 0.3 right now. In Wisconsin, that's par for the course. About 30,000 votes made the
difference. That now makes eight statewide races in the last just few elections that have been decided
by 30,000 votes are fewer. They're still counting in Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. The Republicans
might win one, two, maybe even all these. If they win all three, it brings the Senate to 55
Republicans. The House is still unknown, but decision desk has Republicans with a 95% chance of
taking the House. I'm Mike Slater for the podcast, Politics by Faith, Bill O'Reilly with your
message of the day. Next. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising,
trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.
That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only deal.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Thursday, Grover Cleveland has company.
The jumbo politician was the only president to win.
non-consicative terms until this week. Obviously, the world is a far different place than it was back
in 1892, but the American leadership system, the presidency, is essentially the same. Old Grover got
more electoral votes than the Republican Benjamin Harrison, a boring guy with a limp handshake. Like President
Harrison, one-termer Joe Biden screwed it all up. So his sheerly
leader's soulmate, Kamala Harris, lost to Donald Trump, a man who has regained power through
sheer determination.
The former president is the hardest working campaigner in history, and it's not even close.
Someone stop him before he holds another rally.
I don't know if revenge is sweet for Mr. Trump, but he has vanquished his many enemies.
They are bitter and befuddled.
Now, everything in America changes as Republicans will take a sledgehammer to progressive
politics.
Donald Trump has plans.
Maga people should embrace a no gloat zone, however.
No retribution is needed.
Having Trump back in power is entirely too much for the forces of the left.
That should be sufficient for Trump supporters.
For Ms. Harris, well, she gave it a go.
There's honor and strenuous effort, as Donald Trump well knows.
We the people should process the election in that context.
It's the American way.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

and we really appreciate Mr. Morgan doing it.
Let's go to the mail, Mike Zibo, Wayne, Michigan.
You're correct, O'Reilly, Trump wins.
Thank you being an honest and fact-driven historian.
analysts we can trust. You're welcome, Mike. That is why we are on business. Henry, concierge
member, Henry has direct access to me. Our team is on Henry's side. That is valuable. Check
out concierge membership on Bill O'Reilly.com. Henry says, Mr. Owen's staff, thank you for
getting out honest news coverage. If Trump wins, which he did, of course. I believe the drama
will just be starting. People who don't like him will never stop. That's true. But
but their credibility is gone, at least for the moment.
Ian, America wakes up this morning knowing that sanity has prevailed.
I look forward to your analysis, O'Reilly, in the coming days.
My analysis, Ian, is going to be very important in the next four or five months
to see how Trump positions himself for this country.
Guy could change everything.
He's got to succeed, but I'm going to be tough on him like I'm tough on everybody.
Rick Ramdeni, Argyle, Wisconsin, happiest man in the country is Gavin Newsom.
I wonder when he'll be announcing for 2008.
Not going to be Newsom.
He's screwed up California so bad, he doesn't have a chance.
You know who it's going to be?
Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania versus J.D. Vance.
You heard it here first.
In a moment, something you might not know.

Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
One century ago, the global life expectancy for a human being was just 39 years old.
Today, the number has risen to 72.
A typical person's lifespan depends on genetics, health, personal choices like diet.
It also depends on where you are born.
According to the World Economic Forum, folks in Japan stick around the longest.
A healthy diet of fish means residents in the land of the rising sun live to an average of 85 years.
Switzerland.
Next on the list, the nation is ranked the most active in Europe.
Studies show the Swiss suffer less anxiety and depression than their neighbors in Germany and Italy.
Average life expectancy in Switzerland, 85 for women, 82 for men.
Yodeling may help.
In Iceland, folks live until the age of 81.
Scientists believe the cold weather might actually help you live longer.
Researchers at the University of Michigan say frigid temperatures trigger genetic responses that extend a person's longevity.
All the way down, at number 35 on the list, between Lebanon and Cuba is the United States of America.
average life expectancy here for an American male, 76.
Women, 81.
But it turns out where you live in the USA can play a major role.
Residents in Charleston, South Carolina and Naples, Florida,
lived nearly a decade longer than the national average,
even though it's a warm climate down south.
Shortish life expectancies on the planet can be found in sub-Saharan Africa.
Average person in Sierra Leone, for example, lives to the age of 41, mostly because of AIDS and poverty.
And here's something else you might not know.
In the USA, life expectancy is actually on the decline.
The average lifespan dropped a full year since 2019.
Biggest factors.
COVID, obesity, and drug ODs.
Back after this.
