Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Friday, October 10th, 2025.
Here's this happening today in America.
Peace deal moving forward.
The Nobel snub, Letitia, indicted,
at a counter Super Bowl halftime show.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, Israel has agreed to face one of Trump's peace plan.
The IDF has finished there.
24 hours to pull back to the agreed line inside Gaza, retaining control of about 53% of the
territory until face 2 begins. After the 24-hour period, Hamas will have 72 hours to release all
remaining hostages, 20 alive and 28 deceased, meaning that all are expected to be freed by Tuesday.
Trump envoy, Steve Whitkoff, and Jared Kushner met with Netanyahu yesterday. The United States
plans to have 200 troops already in the Middle East to help support and monitor the ceasefire deal.
They will not be in Gaza. They'll be in.
Israel. The Prime Minister of Israel wrote on Twitter, President Trump, no gold medal, lucrative
prize or prestigious recognition will ever truly do justice or reward you adequately for the lives
you have saved. In Judaism, the proverb goes, he who saved a single soul. It is as if he saved
an entire world. You, Mr. President, have saved scores of worlds. Today, the whole nation of Israel
says, thank you. That being said, Trump did not win the Nobel Peace Prize, snubbed by
this committee in Norway made up of five members appointed by the Norwegian Parliament.
They gave it instead to the Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Mochado, quote for her
tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela.
She's been in hiding since August of last year for fear of arrest from the Maduro regime.
I so would have loved to be in that committee room listening to these progressives,
talk about how we can't possibly give the Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump.
A grand jury indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James on charge of the fraud.
This is after a mortgage fraud investigation.
She says that an error was made when filling out a form related to a home purchase.
The story is she lied about another home being her primary residence in order to get a better bank loan.
And of course, it was this Attorney General of New York who got Trump on felony charges
for inflating the value of his assets to get a better bank loan.
She ran for office on the slogan, I will get Trump.
and when she won on election night
she said we here in New York and I in particular
we're not scared of you and promise
to shine a bright light into every corner
of his real estate dealings and every dealing
demanding truthfulness at every
turn. Charlie Kirk's
Turning Point USA has announced
an alternate halftime show
for the upcoming Super Bowl. Bad Bunny
is the official performer of the
Super Bowl. His songs are disgusting.
Turning Point said the event will celebrate
faith, family, and freedom.
It'll be on February 8th, event
details and performers still to be announced.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, J.B. Pritzker, I think he's the worst governor in the country.
Makes Gavin Newsom look like John Hancock. The guy is awful.
For six and a half years, he sat in Springfield, Illinois, and done absolutely nothing,
as about 4,000 Chicagoans have been murdered in the streets.
Pritzker could have called in the Illinois National Guard to assist the Chicago PD in dismantling the drug gangs that commit most of the homicides.
Did you know that 80% of the murder victims in Chicago are African Americans?
But no, old J.B. was otherwise occupied, raising taxes, spending money on windmills. What a guy.
Now, President Trump has embarrassed Pritzker by sending federal authorities to Chicago
in order to impose order and protect federal immigration agents.
Prisker's incoherent response is to say Trump wants to rig the election in 2026.
Yes, Chicago is familiar with rig votes, but J.B. is living in the twilight zone.
He is traveling in another dimension.
You didn't do your job, governor.
Simple as that.
Too many coffins.
And that's the truth.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

fun, make some friends, whatever. So Allen says there's no problem with the immigration law just
because it's from 1952. Constitution is far older than that. The issue is that Democrats will
not comply with it. No. It's a whole different scenario now, Alan. Biden did it. You can't allow 15
million people in this country in four years and have the same immigration law.
You've got to tighten it up.
You've got to have rules and regulations that didn't exist.
You have to because it's chaotic now.
And here's how chaotic it is.
ICE doesn't delineate anymore between criminals that they pick up and people with no criminal
histories. They have to do that if they want Americans to get on board. That's one thing that
should be in a new law. Maureen, you say President Trump cannot control food prices,
but yet you say if proof prices don't come down, Republicans can have trouble in the midterms,
I don't understand this. Because you don't want to understand it, Maureen, you understand it.
people vote their wallets. Not everybody's fair or smart, but if people are going to the grocery
stores this time next year and food prices have not come down a bit, they're not going to be
happy. Republicans will lose votes. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
52 years ago today, the Vice President of the United States
resigned in disgrace.
His departure caused the Constitution.
emergency, that eventually allowed Congress to allow the new president. Here is the story of
Spiro Agnew. The Republican from Baltimore became Governor of Maryland in 1967. He was soon
selected by Richard Nixon to be his running mate. The two were elected in 68, re-elected in 72.
By the following spring, the entire administration was embroiled in the Watergate scandal.
While investigating Nixon, the Justice Department discovered Agnew took bribes during his tenure as governor.
He continued to receive illegal payments while serving his vice president.
After months of proclaiming his innocence, Spiro Agnew resigned from office on October 10th, 19th.
1973. None of his crimes were related to Watergate. He eventually pleaded no contest to federal
income tax evasion. Under the process outlined by the 25th Amendment, President Nixon
was then ordered to fill the vacant office of vice president. That candidate would then have
to be approved by both houses of Congress. Nixon selected House Minority Leader Gerald Ford.
Popular among his colleagues, the Senate voted to confirm Ford by 92 to 3. The House
387 to 35. When Richard Nixon resigned a few months later, Gerald Ford assumed the presidency,
making him the only person to become chief executive without being elected president or vice president.
Spiro Agnew kept a low profile for the rest of his life.
He died in 1996 at the age of 77.
And here's something else you might not know.
After Agnew's resignation, the former vice president was ordered to pay back taxes and legal fees.
to help cover expenses, he took a $200,000 loan from his longtime friend, Frank Sinatra.
