These markets can turn elections, policy fights, and economic data, and cultural moments into actual tradable probabilities, and then over time reveal patterns that traditional commentary often misses. Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Thank you, Bill. It is Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Omar's home raided 16,000 criminally legals in New York City. NATO's commander has a message to Russia. And boys still competing against girls. That's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. First, the FBI raided the home of Congresswoman Elon Omar of
Starting point is 00:01:03 Minneapolis. There have long been accusations that Elon married her brother to help him get a green card. But more related to her, her father was a colonel in the military of the Marxist dictator of Somalia. When that government was overthrown, he fled the country with his family. They made the way to Virginia, ultimately Minneapolis. He was granted citizenship. Elon was 12 when she came here. But if he was naturalized under false pretenses, then she could be denaturalized as well. And if you're denaturalized, that triggers deportation proceedings. There's usually about 12 denaturalizations a year. The last few decades, it's been about 12 a year. This year, so far, there's been 168 under the Trump administration. Elon said, I'm okay. Make no mistake, this is an attempt to target political
Starting point is 00:01:49 enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. Trump told reporters, if all this is true, she shouldn't be a congresswoman, and we should throw her the heck out of our country. In similar news, the sanctuary state of New York has refused to hand over more than 16,000 criminal illegal aliens to ICE since Trump took office in January of last year. Ice placed 16,070 detainers on illegals who have been charged or convicted of crimes, and New York City has not handled them over to ICE. Homeland Security Secretary says while sanctuary politicians continue to release dangerous criminals into the streets, our brave law enforcement officers will continue to risk their lives to arrest these heinous criminals and make America safe again.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Illegal aliens have no sanctuary in America. NATO's top military commander vows to block, blunt, and break enemy forces attacking NATO countries. The general said in Poland, should the adversary, speaking about Russia, choose to attack or commit his reserves, he will break the warfighting system engaged against us. We stand here together, stronger than ever, united in our common vision of a more balanced, more ready and more lethal alliance. I guess we're still doing this in America.
Starting point is 00:03:01 Washington State had a boy finish 76th place in the JV cross-country race last year. This year, he's now competing against the girls as a transgender and took first place in the first meet of the year, second at an invitation. One parent said, we're about as liberal as it gets, but I just don't agree that the boys should compete against girls. It's got to be fair. I'm Mike Slater from the podcast Politics by Faith. The great Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Next. Hi, I'm Stu Bergier, and I've got a brand new podcast that looks at the world and current events through the lens of prediction markets. Starting point is 00:03:59 podcast. Don't miss a minute. Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Tuesday, it's easy to figure out why many members of the Trump administration continue to give access to Fox News. It's well watched by conservatives and generous to the president's men and women. Social media outlets will soon pass FNC's reach, but it will remain a comfort zone for the right. Nothing wrong with that when you consider that the other television news outfits are all committed left. The Trump administration is the most press accessible in history. Unlike many Democrats who boycott opposing points of view, it speaks with the leftist media. I guess the Trumpsters hope to persuade.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Long shot. And you can imagine President Biden speaking with the opposition very rarely happen. Getting specific, I don't understand the Jake Tapper thing. CNN loosed Mr. Trump and Tapper is right on board with that. He is deeply emmeshed in the Gacha game. So why bother with him? I'm not getting this at all. I do respect politicians and pundits that mix it up.
Starting point is 00:05:29 That is a rapidly shrinking group. But I don't believe in rewarding contrived deceitful behavior. Both parties should engage the opposition. Just be smart and honest about your agenda. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message. by writing it, you can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com,
Starting point is 00:05:53 bill at bill o'Reilly.com, name in town if you wish to opine. Now let's go to the mail. Tom Tute, Parsipany, New Jersey. Tom used the internet tech site. Hey, Bill, just watch the Siege of London.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Great old school reporting. That is where the U.S. is heading, if we don't wise up. We already see significant examples of it, as you highlighted in your report, it's not Islamophobic. Do you want to preserve American values? Depends how you do it. You don't want to deride another culture,
Starting point is 00:06:32 but absolutely I don't want Sharia courts. I don't want all this. And I do believe, after doing that special on News Nation, and we will tell you tomorrow where you can watch that. News Nation is going to get it up on YouTube. I do believe that the U.K. has perhaps damaged itself beyond repair by allowing millions of third world Muslims into their country unattended. We already told you they're bankrupt over there. Ray Cartonia, Charleston, South Carolina, a lot of southern mail today.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Your siege of London documentary on News Nation was highly informative and in deterrentia. entertaining, very disconcerting that the problems of immigration in London and Western Europe are parallel to our own country. Not yet. And look, like them or hate them, you got to give Trump credit for that. You have to. If you're an honest person, you're not honest, you're not honest, but Trump came in and he stopped it. Him, not Congress, got to give him credit. In a moment, something you might not know. Starting point is 00:08:11 It's predictable with Stu where we're making this unpredictable world a little more. predictable. Be sure to download and subscribe today wherever you get your podcast. Don't miss a minute. Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might. Not know. Today there are more dual citizens in the USA than any other time in history. Though commonplace, the debate over multiple allegiances actually dates back to the American Revolution. Here is the story. In the 18th century, loyalty to a single nation became paramount. Early Americans were largely suspicious of foreign influence, particularly from England and France. In 1868, the United States Expatriation Act made it possible for foreigners to renounce their citizenship and formally become Americans.
Starting point is 00:09:05 The law was expanded in 1907, allowing more people to legally migrate to the USA. However, the concept of dual citizenship has always been dubious. As of this year, the federal government officially states that it does not formally recognize dual citizenship, but permits it under specific circumstances. Exceptions are made for foreign business dealings, property ownership overseas, family ties and diplomats. Today, there are more than 9 million Americans who hold foreign passports as well as American documents. Nine million. The largest community comes from Mexico, followed by China, India, Canada, the Philippines,
Starting point is 00:09:53 Ireland, the UK, Germany, Italy, and Poland. And here's something else you might not know. The foreigners moving to the USA is a growing trend, as everybody knows. that's what the border crossings illegally were all about. But there's a growing trend of Americans heading abroad. Two million U.S. citizens, not including service members, now permanently live outside the USA. The biggest expat communities can be found in Costa Rica, Panama, Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Australia, Japan.
Starting point is 00:10:35 To boost the local economy, many nations are now offering citizenship. to wealthy Americans. You can become Portuguese for $200,000. Want to move to Greece? Buy a home worth 40,000 euros. That's about 50,000 bucks. Uruguay is the easiest. Give them money. You'll get a passport. Back in a moment.
