Starting point is 00:01:29 Riley Update Morning Edition. On this Thursday, I'm thinking about the latest ice shooting in New York City. Guy named Oscar Belgall was driving in the Bronx with his five-year-old son in the back seat. He was being sought by federal Asians because he's an illegal criminal from the Dominican Republic. In 2003, Belgal pleaded guilty to grand larceny was given probation. He should have been deported then and there. But no. Two years later, he's arrested on 10 counts of selling narcotics.
Starting point is 00:02:15 That means he's a drug dealer. Of course, ICE is going to be searching for Oscar. They find him in the Bronx, where he's a drug dealer. where he tries to flee. The agency uses cars a weapon. They fired seven shots into the vehicle. The boy wasn't hurt. The Fed say they didn't even know he was there. Now, the reason has happened is that New York Governor Kathy Hockel has declared her state a sanctuary place. She has ordered officials there not to cooperate with ICE on most cases. We have violent situations like this.
Starting point is 00:02:59 To me, that's a crime. And it's on the governor. Back in a moment. That is the morning O'Reilly update. More analysis later on.
