Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Monday, October 20th, 2025.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Still no kings, so run, and friends.
UN vote delayed and museum broken into.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, a lot of no kings rallies held across the country protesting President Trump,
organizers, who obviously have an incentive to exaggerate, said 7 million people took part
in demonstrations over 2,700 cities and towns throughout America.
That's move on.org's estimation.
In D.C., it's believed 200,000 people showed up.
And of course, the president had the perfect response posting memes all weekend of him
wearing a crown and Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer wearing a sombrero.
The president said a huge thank you to all the no-kings protesters yesterday.
I was very concerned that a king was trying to take my place.
But thanks to your tireless efforts, I am still your president.
Great job all.
Zoran Memdani, the election for New York City mayors in two weeks.
Zohran Mamdadi took a photograph of him standing next to one of the Central Park
five accused rapists from back in 1989 and Saraj Wahaj, who's an undided co-conspirator
of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Zoran's team, they posted this picture on purpose.
The vice president said,
I've been reliably informed that Democrats are opposed to any kind of political violence.
So I look forward to them universally condemning Zohran Maldi for campaigning
with an unindicted co-conspirator and a terrorist plot that killed six New Yorkers.
The imam's three adult children are all convicted of operating a jihadist training camp in New Mexico
with 11 children aged 1 to 5 who were all emaciated and won and passed away.
A major vote in the United Nations.
that would have made shipping more environmentally friendly
has been delayed for a year after America said not only no
but any country that votes yes on this we will not give you any more visas
and you'll never ship another product to this country again.
Reuters says the delay is a blow to the European Union and other countries
including Brazil which have been pushing for the shipping industry to get greener
and set out a price mechanism for decarbonization.
This delay, a huge win for America.
So thank you, Mr. Rubio and President Trump.
Check this out.
Several people, it's believed four,
disguised themselves as construction workers
and broke into the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday,
broke into an open display case,
and stole all these jewels that belonged to Napoleon and his wife.
Nine pieces of jewelry, crowns, necklaces, earrings,
9.30 in the morning,
right before the museum opened the public.
They set up right on the street.
They put cones outside the street.
and had this ladder going up to the window.
And by the time the alarm went off at 937,
they were on their motorcycles and out of there at 938.
I'm Mike Slater.
I have a podcast, Politics by Faith.
Bill O'Reilly has your message today.
Next.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.
National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.
And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, hard work and honesty pays off in America, confronting evil, the number one book on the New York Times bestseller list.
That makes 20 of my books hitting that spot, world record for nonfiction.
Okay, enough self-aggrandizement O'Reilly.
Evil is an important subject, as a nation mourns Charlie Kirk, and the detestable Putin continues slaughtering innocent people in Ukraine.
And then there's Hamas, which has brought horror onto the Palestinian people.
I opened the book with the Hamas October 7th atrocity.
I want to put you right in the middle of evil.
Now, we can't look away, and we cannot distort the truth any longer.
There is evil around us.
Comes in many forms.
It might even be in your own house.
Different points of view are not evil.
competing interests or not either. But harming others in pursuit of venality, power, and or money
is absolutely evil. And remember, true villains have no remorse. I learned a lot from writing
this book. I have increased my goal of exposing dangerous behavior. And you will learn a
tremendous amount if you read confronting evil. Number one on the Times list. I hope you check it out.
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill

Tom Beach, Durham, North Carolina. Watching a talking points memo. What are your thoughts that both
Biden and Blinken are trying to take some of the credit to the peace deal between Israel and Palestine.
They tried to get the hostages out.
And at the end, very end of the Biden administration, they made some strides.
They cooperated with the incoming president, Donald Trump.
So I don't have any beef there, but they couldn't get them out.
Could they?
Kathleen, concierge, remember, I agree with Pete Higset.
And if people knew the actual reason for his ruling, you, O'Reilly would support his decision.
Media cannot be trusted in telling half a story he's running.
The Pentagon is a military institution, not a friend of the media.
If you're down with Hegsafe, then you don't believe in freedom of the press.
Kathleen, simple as that.
I'm not scolding you.
There are a lot of Americans who don't believe in freedom of the press, but you don't believe in it.
Get of the government censoring what you hear and read that they do.
in China.
Ethan.
Bill, you're right.
Pete Exf is acting like a fascist.
Now, I didn't call him a fascist.
I did not.
But totalitarianism, first step, neutralize the press.
Bruce Cattle, Rio Del, California.
But you said the economy is a critical factor in midterm elections
that if high prices don't come down, it'll be bad for the Republicans.
How is, how is it?
They can be held accountable for the cost of things because the voters don't care about politics.
They care about their wallet.
If the party in power isn't bringing prices down when people are suffering, they're going to vote for the other party.
That's it.
Most people are not ideological.
They're not.
So that is something that Trump administration has got to pay attention to.
In a moment, something you might not know.
No newspaper is more iconic than The New York Post, so why not start your day with me telling
you our best stories? I'm Caitlin Becker, host of the New York Postcast. Every weekday morning,
I'll break down the headlines that matter to you and the stories you're going to want
to talk to your friends about. It's a mix of politics, business, pop culture, basically everything
you expect from the New York Post. Ask your smart speaker to play the NY Postcast podcast,
listen and subscribe on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcast.
Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. President Trump often likens
himself to historical leaders, specifically Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson as presidents.
But a more appropriate comparison may be a founding father. Alexander Hamilton. Here's why.
Mr. Trump wants to dramatically increase the power of the executive branch and will test constitutional
limits in his quest. We have seen that. Well, that's what the National Guard stuff in D.C. and
Chicago is all about, as well as his campaign against the fit. Mr. Trump is an impatient man
with no time for fools or ideological opponents. Alexander Hamilton was very similar. Hard guy,
brave soldier, started the Federalist Party because he wanted the new United States.
You have a strong central authority.
Hamilton didn't care what Delaware wanted.
Thomas Jefferson did care about the states
and saw them as guardians of the Constitution.
That caused much angst between Hamilton and Jefferson.
George Washington sided with his aid, Hamilton,
believing that a few good men should wield the most power,
not the chaotic backwaters at the time, like Georgia. As with Donald Trump, Hamilton was a
political outsider. He rose to power through intellect, ambition, energy. Both men were
polarizing and masters of persuasion. Hamilton used pamphlets to sway public perception.
Mr. Trump, of course, uses social media. However, the two men differ in style.
Alexander was an elitist.
He believed the federal government should be run
by the highly educated and upper classes.
Trump is a populist who loathes the D.C. swamp.
President Trump is not going to change, nor did Alexander Hamilton.
Trump will use his power to increase his power.
The Supreme Court knows this.
It will be absolutely fascinating to see.
just how the nine justices deal
with the new Alexander Hamilton
