But first, the president signed a peace agreement
between Cambodia and Thailand,
as well as trade agreements with those two countries and Malaysia.
Trump visited Malaysia to participate in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations,
strengthening America's commitment to these countries to counter Chinese influence.
The Prime Minister of Malaysia said,
You personally did call both prime ministers to urge for the speedy peace settlement.
The world needs leaders who promote peace strongly.
The U.S. reached a minerals deal with Thailand,
sharing investment opportunities in the mineral sector and sharing information.
When it comes to Thailand, they had a 90-9.
percent tariff on American goods, they got rid of that. And America will keep a 19% tariff on goods
from Thailand. The Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said he has reached a substantial framework
with trade talks with China. Trump and Xi will meet on Thursday in South Korea. This is their
first meeting since 2019. Besson said this is the fifth meeting I've had with my Chinese counterpart
and we've covered a wide range of issues. We agreed that the Chinese would begin to help us
with the precursor chemicals for this terrible fentanyl epidemic that's ravaging our country.
So I would say that it was a very good overall meeting.
Also, the United States and China have reached a final agreement on the transfer of TikTok.
It was April of 2024 when the Senate passed the sell or be banned TikTok bill.
What we know so far is that bite dance, that's a Chinese company, will retain less than 20% ownership
of TikTok, while other investors will acquire the other 80%.
those other investors include Oracle, private equity firm Silver Lake, and Abu Dhabi investment fund
MGX. The president also indicated that Rupert Murdoch and tech entrepreneur Michael Dell
will be a part of the takeover group. A key aspect of the arrangement involves ByteDance
leasing its algorithm to the new U.S. entity, and Oracle is tasked with retraining it, and Oracle
will also manage a secure cloud containing all U.S. users' data.
French police have arrested two men connected with the jewelry heist of the Louvre.
They're still looking for two others.
One was arrested at the airport, trying to get on a flight to Algeria.
The other was about to travel to Mali in West Africa.
Both are dual citizens of France and those two countries.
Police say they had DNA evidence and a helmet left behind on the scene from one of the suspects.
Still no word yet on where the jewels are.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, while the press continues to obsess over the White House renovation,
the most important story of the year will unfold this week.
President Trump going to South Korea, there he will meet with Asian nations to try to get a better handle on the worldwide economy, but most importantly, he's supposed to meet with the Chinese president Xi, X-I, she.
Now, if China becomes sane and allies with the United States in economic matters and calms chaos down all over the world,
each human being on the planet benefits. China's propping up Putin, buying his oil. They don't need to do that. There's plenty of oil in OPEC and the USA will send.
oil to China as well. Why get into Putin business? He is a psychopath. That's number one.
Number two, we can work out this tariff stuff. We can work out the trade agreements.
By we, I mean the Trump administration. Because China needs the United States to buy their
stuff in order to feed 1.5 billion people who don't have IRAs or the gold cost.
card. They have to eat. They have to sell. Here. Work it out, guys. The world needs it.

Bill, I agree that the Trump administration should be more transparent
about how they handle migrants in each city,
but will the media report fairly?
Doesn't matter, Mary Jane.
It'll get on social media.
So what I am asking Homeland Security to do is to explain to us, everybody,
what the raids are targeted to do,
And what happens when people are rounded up?
What happens?
That's all.
I don't think that's unreasonable.
Diane Jansick, Cheyenne Wyoming,
Trump is not a king, otherwise there would not be protests.
I sort of lose interest in all of those protesting.
I understand Diane, and you're absolutely right.
If he were a king, the protesters,
would be beheaded. The best backup for that is Henry VIII in confronting the evil.
Now, he's there for a reasonable Henry. Okay. He was an absolute monarch. There's no freedom at all.
And where do you see what he did? And that's England. Okay, read that chapter. And you'll know
what a real king is, not this propaganda. Rose Muller says,
Diego the no king's protests look like the majority participating were older white people possible
of say but the video shows a lot of older white people who don't like Trump but I can't
break it down is no factual way to do that in a moment something you might not know

Mayor of Kingstown, new season now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
It is officially Halloween week in the USA.
Polls show Americans drank the holiday their third favorite of the year, right behind Christmas and Thanksgiving.
But the spooky tradition wasn't always a family-friendly event.
The origins of Halloween go back more than 2,000 years.
Here is the story.
It all began in Ireland.
The Celtic celebration of Sowin, or Summer's End, closed the harvest season.
The Druid Festival was also associated with death.
Communities built bonfires to ward off evil spirits.
They sacrificed animals and wore costumes to scare away the devil.
During the 8th century, Pope Gregory III, designated November 1st as a day to honor Catholic saints, calling it All Saints Day.
The night before, All Hallows Eve.
In the 1400s, Christians wore costumes going door to door to collect cakes on behalf of the dead.
Don't know how the dead could eat them, but that's another story.
By the 18th century, all Hallows Eve morphed into Halloween.
The holiday made landfall in North America with the influx of Irish immigrants,
mostly fleeing the potato famine of the 1840s.
Today, Halloween is the most profitable holiday after Christmas, generating $15 billion in sales.
Most of that's meant on candy, costumes, decorations.
And here's something else you might not know.
The first president to officially celebrate Halloween in the White House was Dwight Eisenhower.
In 1958, First Lady Mamie Eisenhower filled the executive mansion with fake skeletons,
jackal lanterners, and broomsticks.
The state dining room was decorated with ears of dried corn.
a disembodied witch head and goblins were hung from the chandeliers by Mamie.
While many Americans praised a spooky motif as harmless fun, some religious organizations
believed it was an embrace of Satan.
Ooh, back in a moment.
