Mayor of Kingstown, new season now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Wednesday, October 29th, 2025. Here's this happening today in America.
Ice changes. More boats hit. Mamdani shocked. And Melissa hits Jamaica. It's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, reports are that there is a mass removal effort of ice leadership across the country with up to 20.
12 ICE field office chiefs being removed and reassigned.
The goal here is to increase deportation numbers.
This reportedly includes the field office directors of L.A., Philadelphia, Phoenix, Denver,
El Paso, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, and New Orleans.
Reports are that the ICE chiefs will be replaced by Border Patrol leaders.
Now, Bill Malugian has made the point that ICE and Border Patrol operations are often different.
ICE being more targeted and going after criminal illegal aliens and people with specific deportation
orders. Border Patrol under Trump 2.0 has been more aggressive in carrying out operations at
like home depots and flea markets. Now Homeland Security said this is one team, one fight.
President Trump has a brilliant, tenacious team led by Secretary Nome to deliver on the
American people's mandate to remove criminal illegal aliens from this country. In other news,
ICE arrested a three-time deported illegal alien from El Salvador. He was in Virginia. He's been
accused of violently assaulting a police officer, among other violent crimes, over a 21-year
criminal record in America.
Our military has carried out strikes against four more drug vessels in the eastern
Pacific, killing 14 people.
Our Secretary of War, Pete Heggseth, said yesterday, the Department of War carried out three
lethal kinetic strikes on four vessels operated by designated terrorist organizations
trafficking narcotics in the eastern Pacific.
So far, we know of 57 people who have been killed in strikes like this.
According to Hegeseth, there was one survivor.
Zoran Mamdani said he is shocked by remarks that Vice President J.D. Vance made
after the mayoral Canada in New York City said his aunt felt uncomfortable riding the subway
wearing her hijab after 9-11.
J.D. Vance wrote on social media, according to Zoran, the real victim of 9-11 was his auntie,
who got some allegedly bad looks.
Turns out the vice president's skepticism was right.
Zoran's aunt doesn't wear a hijab,
and she wasn't even in America during 9-11.
Turns out it wasn't an aunt he was talking about.
He really meant some distant cousin.
And that cousin happens to be not alive anymore.
Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica as a category five.
It was then downgraded to a powerful three as it headed towards Cuba.
The Jamaican prime minister called his island a disaster area.
Half a million without power, 25,000 tourists stuck.
Seven dead so far.
The surcan even bigger than Katrina.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Wednesday, God help me.
going to criticize Joe Biden again. Why? Guy's gone and nobody's looking for him. But I can't
stop with the former president. It's a compulsive disorder or something. Now, last Sunday,
Mr. Biden received a lifetime achievement award from the Edward M. Kennedy Institute in Boston.
Okay, fine. The liberals love Joe. Why? I'm not sure. As a senator, Biden was a tough guy on
crime and opposed busing as a tool for student integration. Kamala Harris took great exception to that,
as you may remember. But now, Joe Biden is a liberal icon. Accepting the award, Mr. Biden said
this, quote, I know the idea of America depends on our respect for the institutions that govern and
guarantee a free society. It depends on a presidency with limited power.
Uh, no, Joe, that's incorrect.
The founders wanted strong assertive presidents.
Limited powers?
Washington, Lincoln, Jackson, the Roosevelt's all wielded enormous power.
Even James K. Polk used his authority to expand the nation from coast to coast.
Polk did that by issuing orders.
Congress stood by and watched.
So as I suspected, President Biden has no idea what the executive branch is empowered to do.
The president is supposed to be a strong leader.
As they wrote in confronting the president, Joe Biden was the second worst chief executive in American history.
This kind of proves it.
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it.

Here's what the wit says.
Honestly, people I know who talk about the ballroom at the White House have no idea what's going on.
Trump's trip to China's the most consequential event of the last 10 years.
If he could pull off a deal, that would make the world much safer.
Absolutely right.

is an excellent gift to give somebody. Sharon says, I believe China will always align with Russia and
North Korea as they think alike. The triangle is written in stone. China's going to do what
benefits it economically. That communist cabal is gone. Don, like you say, Bill, I like most of what
you say, Bill, but rather than see China's an annoyance, I see them as an actual threat. Much of what
they do is centered against America. True, but you have to deal with them unless it gets out of
control. Josh Soren, Sinbakersfield, California, longtime listener and viewer, I really appreciate
your common sense approach to the world. You said in your column today that China cultivates
controversy, much like Donald Trump, will we give some specific examples of that? I mean, there's a
million of them, but how about the balloons float all over the United States? That was totally
unnecessary. Why do you do that? Rout, everyone says we need a new immigration law, what's missing
from the current law. How about adjudicating 20 million undocumented migrants because of the Joe Biden
administration? How about that? That's a new circumstance. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might, not know.
Eight years ago today, the biggest controversy in the history of the National Football League swept the USA.
The explosive saga involved every team and even the President of the United States.
Here is the story behind Colin Kaepernick and kneeling during the National Anthem.
Born in 1987 to a white mother and black father, Kaepernick, was adopted by a Caucasian couple in rural Wisconsin.
The family soon moved to Central California.
After playing football at the University of Nevada, the quarterback was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers.
In 2016, Kaepernick began kneeling during the performance of the Star-Spangled Banner before games.
According to the athlete, he was taking a knee to protest racism in America.
Other players soon followed.
The protests drew national attention, while some defended Kaepernick's constitutional right,
others, including major politicians, criticized him for being unpatriotic.
A few months after the kneeling began, President Trump issued the following statement,
quote, I think what Kappernick's doing is a terrible thing, a sad thing.
He should find a country that works better for him.
Let him try.
It won't happen."
The controversy split the league.
Some coaches encouraged the athletes to express themselves.
Others asked players to remain inside of the locker rooms during the national anthem.
To appease angry fans, TV networks began their broadcasts after the anthem was performed.
Kaepernick was eventually blackballed by the NFL.
He has not played football since 2017, eight years.
Nealing during the anthem was prohibited by Football Commissioner Roger Goodell one year later.
Today, the controversy has faded.
Despite that, Colin Kaepernick paid a steep price.
He was scoring publicly, lost his career.
lost his career. The message, dissent, can be very problematic. Back after this.
That's annoying. What? You're a muffler. You don't hear it? Oh, I don't even notice it. I usually drown it out with the radio.
How's this? Oh, yeah? Way better. Save on insurance by switching to Bell Air Direct and use the money to fix your car.
