Bill O'Reilly here Monday, October 7th, 2019. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Here's what's
happening today in America. A second whistleblower comes forward with information on President
Trump's call with the Ukraine. Mid Romney ramps up his attacks on Donald Trump. Riot is in
Greece, protest Secretary of State Pompeo's visit. A new study reveals the most miserable cities in
America. The Pope opens debate on celibacy requirements for Catholic priests. Also, my message of
the day, the true story behind the Ukraine chaos. But first, a second whistleblower coming forward
with more information about President Trump's phone call with the leader of Ukraine.
Attorney Mark Zaid, who also represents the first whistleblower, is alleging all kinds of bad
things, we'll see. Details coming up in the message. Senator Mitt Romney ramping up his attacks on
President Trump, criticizing his, quote, brazen appeal to China and Ukraine to investigate former
Vice President Joe Biden on potential corruption charges. Mr. Trump responding on social media
saying the people of Utah should impeach the, quote, pompous Republican Romney. Protests in Greece
burning American flags during Secretary of State Pompeo's official visit to the country,
chanting, go home upon his arrival in Athens, members of the Greek Communist Party,
attacking the iconic statue of former President Harry Truman outside the U.S. Embassy in Athens.
New study says the most miserable cities in the USA are located in California and New Jersey.
Top of the list, Compton, suburb of L.A., San Bernardino, Camden, New Jersey, Newark, New Jersey, Trenton, New Jersey.
Biggest factors use in the report from business insider are crime, natural disasters, drug addiction, lack of economic opportunity.
Pope Francis is opening a meeting of Catholic bishops to debate whether the Vatican should loosen their millennial old prohibition on married.
priests. Supported say ordaining married men could help the church global shortage of clergy
in remote areas like the Amazon in Brazil. If approved, the revised rules would be the first
in the history of the Roman Catholic Church. The debate as expected is intense. In a moment,
the two sides of impeachment. Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day, the impeachment
brawl. President Trump never folds them, ignoring Kenny Rogers' advice completely.
The Riverboat Gambler president now believes the impeachment deal may be his straight flush
to re-election. Let's examine his perspective. From the outset of Mr. Trump's presidency,
he has believed that Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton all did on ethical
go perhaps illegal things and have gotten away with them. In my book, the United States of Trump,
I document how President Obama knew in August of 2016 that Russia was trying to infiltrate
the Trump campaign. The U.S. Intelligence Services thoroughly briefed the White House about that
intrusion. Yet Mr. Obama kept that secret, and Mr. Trump remains furious about it,
believing the Obama administration was trying to set them up and that they succeeded,
Robert Mueller appointed to take Trump down.
This deep-seated belief on the part of President Trump has caused him to seek payback
through the Justice Department's investigations of the 2016 election.
That's what prompted Mr. Trump's call to the president of Ukraine.
Donald Trump wants information that might expose corruption,
within the Obama administration, and apparently he doesn't care where it comes from.
Enter former Vice President Biden, whose official dealings with Ukraine and China enriched his son.
While CBS News, among others, continues to incredibly put forth,
there is no evidence that Biden used his position for family benefit,
his own words on Ukraine contradict that dishonest spin.
President Trump is not a subtle man and is taking a major gamble by seeking to expose corruption
in the Obama administration. The media will never acknowledge any wrongdoing took place
under Mr. Obama no matter what information and evidence comes out. Also, the nation's press is
heavily invested in destroying Donald Trump and will not admit he may have been abused in any way.
Therefore, the press is saying that Mr. Trump is attempting to subvert the 2020 election.
Democrats are using that point of view to drive impeachment proceedings in the House.
Because President Trump will certainly benefit by Joe Biden's diminishment, the argument has traction.
Donald Trump understands the media narrative but believes he could persuade the American people.
It is false that Mr. Biden is corrupt and that he, the president,
is a hero in his effort to expose that. Already, Joe Biden's approval ratings and donations are
declining, so initially the president may be winning. By the way, Mr. Trump's campaign money
is rising. As for the actual impeachment, nobody knows how it'll play out. Donald Trump
believes many American voters will be angered by it and support him against the Democrats.
He sees impeachment as a ticket to re-election. That outlook is a huge game.
but Mr. Trump has run the table before, as we all know. And that is the message. Please check out
the aforementioned book, The United States of Trump. What's a good information? We posted an excerpt
on bill o'Reilly.com. Up next, something you might not know. You've been hearing about gold all over
the news. Prices continue to climb. Not surprising. Experts warning a recession could happen. But pay
attention to the banks, some of them ran out of cash last Monday night and had to borrow money from
the Federal Reserve. Since last week, more than $500 billion has been printed and given to the banks
just so they could stay in business. Sound familiar? Remember in 2008 when the Fed had to bail out
the banks? Well, it's happening again. Americans are looking for stability and many are turning
to gold in precious metals as a way to protect their savings and retirements. That's why I recommend

4-6-53. Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. Last week, President Trump
and former Vice President Biden traded insults, not an unusual occurrence in the tough world of politics.
In fact, trash talk goes all the way back to 1787 when Thomas Jefferson described John Adams as,
quote, vain and irritable. A few years later, William Henry Harrison put forth this about
John Quincy Adams, quote, it is said he is a disgusting man, coarse, dirty, and clownish.
James Buchanan piled on Quincy, quote, his disposition is as perverse and mulish as that of his
father. Quincy Adams himself could also dish it out, saying this about his presidential opponent,
Andrew Jackson, quote, a barbarian who cannot write a sentence of grammar and can barely spell
his own name. Quincy also welled on President James Polk. He has no wit, no pathos, no philosophy,
no felicitous, impromptus, unquote. Wow, that impromptus thing may be over the line.
Teddy Roosevelt did not hold much back. Here he is on his pal William McKinley, quote,
he has no more backbone than a chocolate Eclare. And TR did not like Benjamin Harris and
either. Quote, he's a cold-blooded, obstinate, timid, old palm-singing, Indianapolis politician.
More modern political insults come from Gerald Ford on Jimmy Carter.
Quote, Jimmy wants to speak loudly and carry a fly swatter.
But it is President Harry Truman, who gets the Don Rickles Award.
Here's old give him hell Harry on Dwight Eisenhower.
Quote, the general doesn't know any more about politics.
politics, then a pig knows about Sunday. And finally, Truman on Richard Nixon, quote,
he is a no-good lying B-word. He can lie out of both sides of his mouth at the same time,
and if he ever caught himself telling the truth, he'd lie just to keep his hand in, unquote.
What is it your mom said? If you don't have any,
anything nice to say? The O'Reilly Update will be right back. You know those robocalls you get? The one
saying you're pre-approved for a home loan or a credit card? Look out. Scammers may be trying to steal
your home. More to the point trying to steal the title to your home. It happened to a buddy of
mine. Here's how it goes down. Thieves hack into computers that hold the legal documents to our
homes. Then they forged them. So it looks like you actually sold your home. Then they go to
unscrupulous lenders and borrow money until your equity is gone. Look, your home equity is your
security for life. Your emergency cash and retirement. So guard it with home title lock. Home title lock
helps keep thieves away from your home's online title and mortgage. If you've gotten calls
stating you're pre-approved for a loan or a credit card, go to hometidaloc.com and enter your address
to see if you're already a victim, you might be. And when you're at hometidalock.com,
I got you two months of risk-free protection. So please go to hometidalock.com,
home titlelock.com. Thank you for listening to the O'Reilly update. I am Bill O'Reilly.
No spin, just facts, and always looking out for you.
Thank you.
