It is Tuesday, September 15th, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. God is good. Zoran Suz. Man rescued. An NFL season kickoff ratings. That's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day of the first.

The Department of War released details about the rescue of an Air Force service member whose F-15E was shot down over Iran. His parachute did not fully deploy. He hit the ground between 70 and 100 miles per hour. He had a broken back. Still managed to climb 7,000 feet in elevation to the top of a mountain while evading capture. The two Americans in the plane, they were separated by five miles after the crash.

We were able to rescue the first American, but couldn't find the second guy. He finally was able to make it to a place where he could send out a signal and his message was, God is good. When the Department of War received that message, they launched a massive force. 92 special operation guys on the ground, hundreds of men in the air, 5,000 service members and support all to rescue this one American. His message to the American people, this is not a story about what I went through. It's the story of teamwork, the training, the faith, the decision and leadership to do something. The mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, is leading the charge on behalf of many mayors across the country to stop the president for making it harder for foreigners to get green cards and visas. The president is using the public charge law. It's already there. It's already on the books. It means the government can deny access for anyone who is a public charge, meaning that they're on Medicaid, for instance, or food stamps.

Momdani says that people will drop their Medicaid coverage so they're no longer deemed a public charge. And he said people could die as a result of these changes. Homeland Security said, let me get this straight. Sanctuary states are terrified they'll lose federal funds because hundreds of thousands of illegals and non-citizens might remove themselves from American welfare programs. The Coast Guard and Michigan police rescued a hiker who got lost, had to survive in the woods of a remote island and Lake Superior. Isle Royal National Park looks beautiful this place.

70-year-old man, he went missing and a team of fellow hikers and the police with canine units and the Coast Guard. They searched for him. They found him seven days later, alive and well. The NFL thought they could start with a bang with a Super Bowl rematch, but it didn't work. Seasons down 11% from last year, the lowest watched opener since 2002. Recent polling shows Democrat James Telerico, leading Republican Ken Paxton by a few points, a major problem for the Republicans.

The reason President Trump endorsed Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas, over the incumbent Senator John Cornyn, is because the president did not believe Cornyn was supporting the Save America Act. Despite the polling, the GOP is actually getting. a break because Tala Rico is a nut. You remember the four-gender's thing that he was espousing? But here's the truth. It really doesn't matter which person you vote for this coming November because the parties, not the candidates, are in control. Leadership now dictates what its members say and do. If the Democrats want to pretend there are four genders, that's it. If you dissent, they cut off your re-election money.

However, Paxton has done a lot of nefarious things. Cornyn's clean. If Cornyn had been the nominee, because Paxson beat him in the primary, he'd walk over Tala Rico.
