Is the technology such that it's going to go up?
Is it going to come down?
Do you think it's going to be just sort of an extrapolation
to where it is right now?
Well, I think there's a lot of smart people
wrestling with that right now.
Today I'm speaking with Michelle Herodence.
She's the executive vice president of Embridge, Inc.,
and president of Embridge Gas.
She's a leader helping us reshape
how millions of us experience energy at home.
Join me, Chris Hadfield, on the On Energy Podcast.

Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Thursday, September 18th, 2025. Here's this happening today in America.
Memorial on Sunday. Fed cuts rates. Disney cuts Kimmel. And Spirit gets scolded.
It's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first,
a memorial service will be held this Sunday in Glendale, Arizona, the stadium for the Arizona Cardinal State Farm Stadium.
For Charlie Kirk, of course, the doors open at 8 a.m. program starts at 11 a.m.
The dress code is Sunday best, red, white, and blue.
Free parking and no bag policy, it's first come first serve based on stadium capacity.
Overflow seating is at Desert Diamond Arena next door.
I imagine you have to get there well before 8 a.m., the President of the United States will be speaking.
along with the Vice President, J.D. Vance, the White House, Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War, Pete Heggseth, D.N.I. Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, and Stephen Miller. Those are the confirmed speakers so far. It's pray that this moment sparks a revival. This Sunday at 11 o'clock. The event is called Building a Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk. More information at Fight for Charlie.com.
The Federal Reserve cut interest rates for the first time in Trump's second term, first interest rate cut this year, five meetings, nine months since the last Federal Reserve interest rate cut.
The rate stands between 4 and 4.25%.
The Board of Governors was unanimous in this decision except for one, Donald Trump's most recent pick, who only joined the board on Monday after the Senate confirmed him 48 to 47 on Monday.
He voted for a half point rate cut.
Trump wrote on Truth Social
Must cut interest rates now
And bigger than he had in mind
ABC, which is owned by Disney
Said they have indefinitely pulled Jimmy Kimmel
From his late night show
After comments he made on Monday show
About the murder of Charlie Kirk
The line that was most disturbing
Was when Kimmel said
The MAGA gang
Is desperately trying to characterize this kid
He's 22
Who murdered Charlie Kirk
As anything other than one of them
And doing everything they can
To score political points from it
The murderer was not MAGA, not even close.
Air Force One was flying from Fort Lauderdale to Boston on its way to England for Trump's big state visit with the king.
And the air traffic controller told Spirit Airlines to turn its plane 20 degrees to the right.
And he kept saying it over and over.
And Spirit Airline wasn't doing it.
And he got more and more frustrated.
You don't mess with Air Force One.
The controller said, I'm sure you can see who it is.
And finally, when he did move, air traffic control said, I got to talk to you twice every time.
Pay attention.
Get off the iPad.
I'm Mike Slater. We have a lot more celebrating the life of Charlie Kirk on my podcast, Politics
by Faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message today. Next.

the day. On this Thursday appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, FBI director Cash Patel
called militant left-wing Senator Adam Schiff, a liar, coward, and a disgrace.
Wow.
At issue with Schiff's attempt to embarrass Patel over the transfer of Galane Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's pimp, to a softer federal prison.
Mr. Patel answered that the Bureau of Prisons ordered the transfer, not him.
which is likely true, even though the Justice Department did interview Maxwell a few weeks ago.
It could have been a quid pro quo. That's possible.
Cash Patel was smart to call Schiff out despite the validity of the question.
The senator has a long record of hateful statements directed at President Trump and his supporters.
Schiff also heavily promoted the Russian collusion.
hoax. It is obvious that Senator Schiff is abusing his position in Washington to undermine
anything Trump. The people in California who elected him might not care, but abuse of power
is a very serious situation. And so the political strife continues in the USA unabated. No relief in sight
let the name calling begin.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

Does Charlie Kirk's widow of legal course of action against Stephen King?
Yes.
The Kirk family could sue him.
Now, he apologized, took on the dishonest email or tweet, whatever he put up, but in this country, you can sue for defamation.
Linda, Bill, I completely agree with you regarding people. We made incendiary statements about Charlie's murder.
We don't want anyone in authority, especially teachers engaging in such vile behavior, and it should be reported.
However, try to get everyone fired as wrong.
I agree with you, Linda. You've got to examine each case, case by case, due process. Very important.
No witch hunts. Nope. Thomas Dimitt, Wheaton, Illinois. President Trump needs to stop repeating
over and over that the war in Ukraine would have happened if he were president. Statement is tired.
Ukraine and Russia will still be at war when Trump leaves office at this rate. I'm a little bit more optimistic than you are, but it is
a vexing problem with a psychopath like Vladimir Putin.
My Casey Philadelphia, Bill, you mentioned the NFL commissioner gave home teams an option
of having a moment of silence to Charlie Kirk.
Were they given the same option for Black Lives Matter and George Floyd protests?
Yes.
You'd notice that on each stadium or helmet or whatever slogan, it differed.
And then the kneeling thing, which was put, the NFL put that to rest.
They said no more because that was hurting their marketing big time.
But no, there was no order that I know of from Roger Goodellie, NFL Commissioner,
to do anything specific on Black Lives Matter in George Floyd.
In a moment, something you might not know.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.
National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
175 years ago today, Congress passed the Fugitive Slave Act.
The controversial law further divided the United States, which is already disintegrating over the issue of slavery.
Here is the story.
Under pressure from the South, Congress passed the bill on September 18, 1850.
The Act required runaway slaves to be returned to their owners even if they escaped to free northern states.
The bill also enabled the federal government itself to capture, try, and eventually deliver the captives to their owners.
The Fugitive Slave Act was supported by many prominent Americans, including,
President Millard Fillmore, Senators Henry Clay and Stephen Douglas, as well as Secretary of State, Daniel Webster.
An opposition was former slave Frederick Douglass, the author of Uncle Tom's Cabin, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and abolitionist John Brown, among others.
Though the act was intended to stop the looming civil war, the bill only inflamed tensions.
The Underground Railroad, led by former slave Harriet Tubman,
ferried thousands of slaves to New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Montreal.
Resistance occasionally turned into riots.
In 1851, a mob of anti-slavery activists rushed the Boston courthouse
and liberated an escapee named Shadi Minkins from federal custody.
similar rescues were made in Wisconsin, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.
Eventually, the Fugitive Slave Act became unenforceable.
The bill was repealed by Congress at the onset of the Civil War.
And here's something else you might not know.
The Fugitive Slave Act was a total failure.
By 1860, just 300 enslaved people had been successfully returned to their subjects.
owners. At the same time, the Underground Railroad brought more than 100,000 blacks north
to freedom. For more harrowing stories about slavery in America, please check out my latest book,
