The United States hits more targets in Iran. The Department of Homeland Security vows to crack down on voter fraud. A new survey ranks the best towns for retirement. And researchers say the common smartphone is dirtier than this.

It's all coming up. then I will be here with your message of the day about the Lindsay Clancy trial. Maybe coming to an end. First, the Trump administration launched additional strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday. The mission was in retaliation to recent attacks against commercial shipping and the Strait of Hormuz and against American troops deployed in the region. The president issued a direct warning to the leader of Iran telling reporters he is preparing, quote, the biggest attack of them all.

He said, Iran tried to read the reason. build their radar because they can't see anything, we waited until it was almost built, and then we hit it. The president said, if Iran responds, they'll be hit much harder. If it goes a third time, they're going to be totally wiped out as a country. Homeland Security is planning a surge in its efforts to investigate voter fraud in certain states. The secretary, Mark Wayne Mullen, has accelerated efforts to make the department a central force to crack down on voter fraud ahead of November's midterm election, which, by the way, we are 62 days away from right now. Homeland Security has pushed states to share their voter roles for audit

and has vowed to withhold grant funding from those that refuse to adopt a broader set of security measures. U.S. News and World Report has listed the best towns for retirement. Nine of the top ten are found in either Florida or... What do you think the other best state is? Pennsylvania. The top five, York, Pennsylvania, Tampa, Florida, Pensacola, Florida, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and number one, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The town has excellent health care, access to nature, affordable housing, low crime, high life expectancy. The average mortgage in Amish country is just $1,000 per month.

Researchers at the University of Arizona confirming that the common smartphone is actually dirtier than a toilet seat. Scientists say a single digital device contains 20,000 different types of bacteria, germs, and viruses that's 10 times more than the toilet. Experts recommend cleaning the phone with a disinfected wipe at least once a day. Fewer than 20% of Americans clean their phone once a month. I'm Mike Slater from the podcast Politics by Faith. Now it's time for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day. The Lindsay Clancy jury could not come to a verdict yesterday. They've been deliberating for days. The judge asked him to go back and figure it out. We do know that two of the women jurors, there's nine of them in total, two of the female jurors came out wearing pink as a sign of solidarity with the woman who murdered her three young children. It's a lot to cover here, but a few points I'd like to make. No one is contesting that she murdered her children. She admits it. The question is, should she be held accountable?

That's crazy because there's some people who think she didn't do it. She admits she did it. I heard one on the street interview. A woman said, well, she was sleep deprived. That's it. That's all it takes to be to rationalize killing your kids. Another said she wasn't getting the support she needed. She had a nanny. Her two oldest kids were in daycare. Her husband worked from home. She had a team of psychiatrists. She had all the medicine you could imagine. Her in-laws live nearby and her parents live nearby. No one has ever had more support than Lindsay Clancy. 30 years ago, a woman strapped her two children in the car seats and drove the car into the lake. When she was on trial, women met around the courthouse and they screamed at her, calling her a baby killer.

We'll never forgive you. How could you do such a thing? that was 30 years ago. Today, a woman kills her kids and she's a hero. Her fan club gathers around the courthouse and celebrates her. It's a celebration. It's in the guise of empathy, but it's not. It's a celebration. Feminism has caused such a rot in the brain and the souls of these women. Women have a rightly ordered desire to love children, but feminism and abortion has twisted up the wires where women are told now that to hate their children. That's a spectrum, of course. The most extreme is what Lindsay Clancy did, but even on the lower end of the extreme, it's, oh, I can't wait to get these kids out of the

house, getting them back to school. Oh, they're the worst. I can't take it anymore. That's a big problem. Women are wired to love and nurture. And that instinct has been redirected away from babies and children onto other marginalized political groups, illegal immigrants, for instance, or just criminals in general, or a woman who killed. or children. Why? It's jacked up empathy. Empathy is the biggest virtue of today. But I agree with Joe Rigney that untethered empathy is a sin, actually. Because while empathy may be fine, I want to imagine how another person feels. If that leads you to be detached from the truth, justice, and morality, well, then it's not good. You can have empathy for people, but it should never

take you away from the truth, from justice, or morality. Women in general have more empathy than men, and that's good. It's great when it's directed towards things that women are good at, keeping members of the family happy and unified, for instance, it's very good. But when the empathy is directed at things that it should not be directed at, criminals, then it's very bad. Men have never rallied behind a man who murdered his children. One of the women outside the courthouse wearing pink said, no matter what happened in that house, we understand that Lindsay asks for help and it wasn't given. And as women, we know that it wasn't fair and she deserves better. No matter what happened in that house? How about having some empathy for the husband whose life is crushed? Instead,

they direct all their empathy for the murderer. Will these jurors care about the truth? Will they only be focused on empathy? Or how about some justice? Or how about some justice? for the babies. Huge Trump win here. He had nine pharmaceutical company leaders in the Oval Office the other day. All of them committed to lowering drug prices for you. This is a part of Trump's most favored nation pricing. So this says that we in the United States,

you, both of us, will have the lowest price of any of these drugs in the whole world. No country in the world will have a lower price than we do. So if a drug is normally $1,000 in America, but it's $10 in France, it's now $10 in America to, or $50 in America and France may go up over there in order to make up the difference. But that's fine. It's cheaper than $1,000. The White House says that $700 million has been saved by the American people through Trump RX. That's the website you can go on and look for different prescriptions near you and what the most favored nation price is.

This has to be a central point of the midterm convention coming up starting next Wednesday, next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. This needs to be a major part of it. The success of lowering the price of drugs, the Council of Economic Advisers says that Trump's most favored nation deals with pharmaceuticals would save the American consumer $600 billion over the next decade. Also, these nine companies the other day committed to $20 billion in U.S. manufacturing, but here's the interesting thing that I didn't know about.

You know, we have the strategic oil reserves. Trump also started the strategic active pharmaceutical ingredient reserve. We learned during COVID that most of the ingredients that we need to make our medicine is from overseas, mostly from China and India. precursor chemicals made in China to make our medicine is crazy. So just like the strategic petroleum reserves, we now have a six-month supply of all these pharmaceutical ingredients at all times. So for instance, this company, Tiva pharmaceuticals,

they're contributing 45 metric tons of metrodosol, an antibiotic, and antipyotoxol used to treat bacteria and parasitic infections and 4.8 tons of amlodephine, an anti-hypertensive drug. Whatever, they sound important. And you can see Trump getting the pharmaceutical company exactly this around. Hey, guys, what are you doing for us?
