Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the weekend edition of the O'Reilly Update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thanks, Bill.
You're listening to the weekend edition of the O'Reilly Update.
Here's what's happening this week in America.
Comey indicted Trump on Omar.
Heg Seth calling in the generals.
And the former president of this country thrown in jail.
It's all coming up.
And Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
but first former FBI director, James Comey, has been indicted on one count of making false statements
and one count of obstruction of justice. The statute of limitations ends this coming Tuesday.
So they got it in just before the clock expires. Pam Bondi said no one's above the law.
Today's indictment reflects this Department of Justice's commitment to holding those who abuse
positions of power accountable for misleading the American people. We will follow the facts of this case.
the charges are likely from a testimony that Comey gave on September 30th, 2020, during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
Senator Ted Cruz asked about a testimony he gave in 2017, where he said he did not authorize leaking information regarding the FBI's investigation in President Trump or Secretary Clinton.
Comey said, I stand by the testimony.
But a 2018 Justice Department Inspector General report found that Comey's deputy, Andrew McCabe, admitted.
that Comey authorized him
to leak information to the press.
Trump in the Oval Office was asked
about Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett
from Texas. He called her a low IQ
person, but then he said, you know, I met
with the head of Somalia, in reference
to Elon Omar.
He says, I met with the head of Somalia,
and I suggested that maybe he'd like
to take Omar back.
He said, I don't want her.
Worth noting that Omar's family
fled Somalia, the outbreak of their
civil war in 1991.
Omar came to America in 1995 when she was 12 years old,
but her family did not leave Somalia as some poor refugee.
Her dad worked for the government of the Muslim Marxist military dictator
that the people overthrew.
That was why her family had to flee the country.
Secretary of War Pete Hexath has ordered hundreds of U.S. military generals and admirals
on short notice to D.C.
It has not been announced why yet.
The directive was sent to nearly all military top commanders worldwide.
It's about 800 generals and admirals around the world.
world. Heggseth did have a directive in May to cut about 100 generals and admirals. A little blast
in the past here, you might remember the former president of France, Nicholas Sarkozy.
But he's been sentenced to five years in jail. It's after a three-month trial, first time
that a former French president has been found guilty of trying to use foreign money like this.
The claim is he orchestrated a scheme to secure 50 million euros from Omar Gaddafi in Libya.
I'm Mike Slater for the podcast Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
The Walt Disney Company is an interesting study among the wealthiest corporations on Earth.
Its management seems to be comfortable veering away from the traditional American
consumer. Jimmy Kimmel, the View Ladies, George Stephanopoulos, and much of its network news
staff are all ardent leftists. The entertainment division of Disney is based in Burbank. It's woke.
It's dismissive of counterpoints of view. Try to get a show green lighted if you're a conservative.
Not going to happen. In fact, the Disney Corporation has no conservative voices on display in
any of its enterprises. Add to that, the ticket prices for the theme parks, exorbitant. That effectively
denies poor families access. Couldn't you have a special or buy in advance? The kids can't go
because their parents can't afford it. That does not seem very progressive to me, but maybe
ideology only goes so far when money is concerned. It's all about leadership, of course,
Disney executives set the prices, approved the programming, higher personnel, and the company
continues to make mighty profits.
But there's something a bit off here.
Disney was built on providing wholesome entertainment to traditional Americans.
What happened?
I don't know.
But I won't be surprised if big changes descend on Mickey and the crew very soon.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.
You can reach me.
Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com.
Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com.
Name in town, if you wish to opine.
Let's go to the mail.
Brent, concierge member.
That means Brent gets huge discounts.
And any book he wants free.
Kimmel is back.
Well, it tells us all we need to know about
the anti-American executives at Disney.
Might all consider a boycott.
I don't like the boycott stuff.
I just tell you my personal thing.
If you don't want to watch it, fine.
But a massive boycott.
That's not going to work anyway.
William K, this will present an interesting situation when over half the country will not be watching Jimmy Kimmel 22%.
And I think that Kim will be restored to almost 100% fairly soon.
Still not going to help him, I don't think.
Maurice Hendry, Phoenix, New York, Phoenix, New York.
Hey, Bill, I watch you on YouTube.
You said that Charlie Kirk was assassinated for political views.
he was assassinated because the media and liberals distorted his views.
I disagree, Maurice.
Mr. Kirk was a traditional Christian conservative.
The progressive left hates that.
Pastor Stephen Browbaker, St. James, Missouri, Brubaker.
Sorry, Pastor Brubaker.
Forgiveness toward the assassin's act of mercy.
Forgiveness on Erica Kirk's part is an act of freedom.
Freedom move away from bitterness.
Okay.
Pastor, I understand.
Kim Lewis,
Irvada, Colorado.
After reading your weekly column,
I wondered,
did you have any interaction
with David Purdue,
the ambassador to China,
during a visit?
I did not.
I wasn't representing
the Trump administration.
I had nothing to do.
All I did was a courtesy debrief
for the president when I came back,
which is my obligation
as an American citizen.
But I wasn't tied in
to any
you know, political party or anything like that.
Rex Price, Georgia, just wondering why you didn't put Hillary Clinton in your book
Confronting Evil.
You know, Rex, perspective is very important in life.
In a moment, something you might not know.
I'm Pierce Morgan, the host of the Pierce Morgan Uncensored Podcast.
We do big interviews and we do big debates about whatever's getting people talking.
We make news, we make noise, and we make a little bit of trouble too.
Come and see what all the fuss is about.
You can listen to Piers Morgan Unsensored on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music,
wherever you get your podcasts.
Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might, not know.
People believe what they want to believe.
The left in America fervently puts forth that their freedom of speech is being threatened
by President Trump. No amount of debate will ever disway them because liberals derive comfort
from that point of view. Trump is squashing speech. But what about the truth of the matter?
First of up, the leftist media have been trampling freedom of expression ever since Donald Trump
began gathering political power. I know this because as the best-selling nonfiction author
in the world, I have to promote my books to alert folks they're in the marketplace.
Before the Trump era, that was not a problem.
I had access to the networks, no longer, and it's not only me.
Jimmy Kimmel wouldn't book any non-liberal guests, nor would Colbert.
When Jimmy Fallon recently spoke with Gray Gutfeld made headlines because the situation was so rare.
The morning network news programs exclude almost all conservatives or traditional people.
The view totally blacks out non-liberals, as does Jane Pauley on the CBS Sunday morning program.
Conservative commentator Mark Levin has written a series of bestsellers.
Have you seen him on the networks?
So, the most powerful media companies in the world have totally shut down speech that opposes liberalism.
And that's fine with many on the left.
Nothing to see here or here here.
Business as usual.
Liberal opinion on display 24-7.
Conservative thoughts, sorry, we're closed.
This exclusion is a colossal violation of free speech, dangerous to the nation, Putin's stuff.
However, you'll not hear that spoken on the network news talk programs, which are now loudly
bemoaning Jimmy Kimmel's exit.
Hey, about some honesty and fairness for a change, network people.
How about a debate on all this freedom of speech?
How about you acknowledging how you have crushed expression?
Not holding my breath.
Back after this.
