Drying out the Northeast, terrorists busted in England, a come from behind victory, and a visit to the mound. It's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.

But first, people across the Northeast waking up this morning to a lot of damage. The Northeaster hit the Northeast, major regions over three inches of rain parts of massachusetts over seven inches Connecticut had winds over 50 miles per hour new york 20,000 people without power 68,000 in new jersey one death we know of a 56 year old man was struck by a falling tree the remnants of the storm will last throughout today but nothing like what passed yesterday thank you to all the emergency and utility crews who were up working all day yesterday and today restoring power to people. British police announced on Sunday that five people were arrested on suspicion of

offenses under the Explosives Act. This was close to a major air base that we use. Police evacuated 85 homes and the Army's explosive ordinance team was called to examine a number of vehicles near the base. The village of Wellford is two miles from Royal Air Force Base Fairford, which hosts our Air Force, and since February has been a key for our operations against Iran, including home of our heavy bombers like the B-1 Lancer and the B-52 Strato Fortress. In sports news, the American golfers rallied on the final day to beat the international team at the President's Cup. This is the first time in the events history where we, Team USA, trailed on home turf, entering

the final session. The U.S. Captain Snedeker said, the president told me, I'm going to bring energy today for you. you guys need it. I told him if we did this, he gets all the credit. So thank you, President Trump. And other sports news, a wonderful baseball moment this weekend. Justin Verlander's last game pitching. He started with the Detroit Tigers 20 years ago. He played there for 12 years, went to a bunch of other teams. He played his final season back at the Tigers. 10-time All-Star, two World Series victories, three-time Cy Young, rookie the year in 2006, three no hitters, one of the

grades. His last game was on Saturday. And when the manager came to the mound to take him out of the game, he walked a little bit out and pointed out to the stands. And out came Verlander's seven-year-old daughter sprinting to the mound to give dad a hug. Well done. Detroit Tigers for making that. Just pure cinema. Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Monday, I'm thinking about Donald Trump's meeting with Mayor Mam Dani. Last week, the president spoke with the Marxist mayor in New York City. Some conservatives did not like that at all. And Dami is essentially a communist. He is going to hurt New York City. Donald Trump will not be able to stop that. So their conversations centered around a big housing project, the mayor wants to build in Queens.

To do that, he needs federal dollars. That's why Ma'am Donnie requested the meeting with the president. Now, I have no evidence to back this up, but I suspect Donald Trump is trying to lower the hatred towards him in New York, so that Bruce Blakeman, the Republican running for governor, can be Kathy Hokel. Her entire campaign can be summed up like this. Blakman is Trump, and Trump is a devil. Governor Hogle not offering many solutions for her state's 20 million residents. latest polling shows Blakeman just four points behind Hockel.

Trump's meeting with Mam Donnie could cut that in half, or not, almost impossible to predict. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. annex sections of Czechoslovakia. Many hope the deal would avert another world war. In reality, it emboldened the Nazis to commit even greater atrocities. Here is the story behind the Munich pact. In September 1938, Hitler demanded the return of a German-speaking region called Sudenten to the third right. The dictator had just annexed Austria with no opposition at all. For two weeks, negotiators huddled in Munich. An agreement was reached on September 28th, signed two days later. In the end, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain appeased Hitler.

The UK would not stand in the vicious dictator's way. Chamberlain returned to England, telling reporters he had achieved, quote, peace for hour time. It just committed one of the gravest foreign policy blunders in history. Six months later, Adolf Hitler ditched the Munich pack and absorbed the entirety of Czechoslovakia into the Nazi Empire. The invasion forced Britain to issue a statement, warning Germany they would defend their allies at any cost. The Fura ignored the threat and invaded Poland in September 1939, World War II had begun. Chaos would soon consume 28 countries stretched from England or Russia, North Africa, to Norway. In the end, Hitler would lose it all. Between 15 and 25 million Europeans perished

in the conflict. Another 30 million died in the Pacific. theater. And here's something else you might not know. The Nazi plan to conquer Europe began at the Munich conference, said Hitler back in Berlin privately. Our enemies are not men of action. They are not masters like us. They are little worms.
