Bill O'Reilly here Tuesday. September 3rd, 2019. You are listening to the O'Reilly Update. Here's what's
happening today in America. Hurricane Doran stalling over the Bahamas. China says it will sue the
USA over tariffs. CNN attacking President Trump's Labor Day schedule. Hollywood Stars calling for a new
blacklist against Trump donors. Passengers on a flight to Nebraska startled by a horse.
on board. Also coming up my message of the day, did Joe Biden lie? But first, Hurricane Dorian,
now a category three as a storm stalls over the Bahamas. The National Hurricane Center
confirming Dorian continues to produce wind gusts of 120 miles per hour. Officials expect the hurricane
to slowly turn north, potentially making landfall near the Carolinas later this week. But anything
could happen. China says it will sue the USA through the World Trade Organization. Beijing saying
the country will file suit after the Trump administration placed a new 15% tax on more than
$100 billion of Chinese imports as the trade war rages on. CNN attacking President Trump for
his Labor Day weekend schedule posting a very dubious hard.
news report with the headline, quote, President Trump golfing as Hurricane Dorian threatens USA.
Story goes on to mock the president, adding, quote, early Monday morning, Trump's attention was at least
in part on other things. And why wouldn't that be the case? He's the president, the storms out in the
ocean. CNN, again, leaving itself open to charges of
bias. Two stars for the NBC sitcom Will and Grace calling for exposure of potential Trump donors
attending a fundraising event in Beverly Hills. Actor Eric McCormick asking the Hollywood
reported to print the names of those attending the event so entertainment insiders can be
quote clear about who we don't want to work with. That's a blacklist threat. It was backed up by
actor Deborah Messing.
Passing your board a flight from Chicago to Omaha, bringing a very unusual service animal on board,
a miniature horse named Flirty.
Airlines General allows so-called comfort animals, but this is the first time we've seen a horse.
I wonder what Mr. Ed would say.
Right back with more controversy surrounding Joe Biden.
My friend Glenn Beck launched Real Estate Agentsitrust.com for a very very
simple reason to help you sell your home for top dollar as quickly as possible. His team quickly
realized there are three keys to success. One, selling or buying a home is very complicated
process and difficult to navigate. So choose agents with a long track record of success. No part-time
or inexperienced agents in their network. Two, market value for your home cannot be calculated using
computer models. It takes years of expertise to evaluate your market and to price your home to sell
quickly for top dollar. Beck's agents are experts in your neighborhood. And three, home sellers
most genuinely like the agent, they choose to trust their home too. That's why we select agents
who are fans like you. They do business like you and they share your value. Real estate agents

Time now for the O'Reilly Update. Message of the day Joe Biden's strategy to win the White
House. According to the Associated Press, the former vice president said this at a recent campaign event,
quote, racism in America is an institutional white man's problem.
visited on people of color. Mr. Biden went on to claim that President Trump is stoking racism
to win re-election in 2020. But who is really doing that? It is obvious that Joe Biden needs
African-American votes to win if he is the Democratic nominee. So he is directing a lot of his
comments at that constituency. Mr. Biden recently said, quote,
Racists still exist. It's real. It's there. The only way you deal with it is you attack it. You expose it. You embarrass it. You call them out. White folks are the reason we have institutional racism. Now, the phrase white folks is certainly dubious. Are all white folks inclined to be racist? Is that what Biden's point is? If so, that's bull.
If it's not, then Mr. Biden needs to explain.
Joe Biden also told reporters that President Trump is, quote, appealing to the worst damn
instincts of human nature for political purposes.
Well, that's politics as usual.
That doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother you.
That's what politicians do.
They accuse each other of heinous things.
But there is something more here.
Now, Joe Biden is leading the other Democratic challengers in large part due to the support of
African Americans, as I mentioned. He needs widespread support from black voters to win major
urban areas like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh to flip Pennsylvania. Same for Michigan and Wisconsin.
Joe Biden also said he would prefer to pick a person of color or a woman as his running mate
should he win the primary quote. Whomever I pick would preferably
be someone who was of color and who was of a different gender. But I'm not making that commitment
until I know the person that I'm dealing with and I can completely thoroughly trust the person
is authentic and on the same page, unquote. Well, there's nothing wrong with that. Mr. Biden,
if he wins the nomination, is entitled to pick whomever he wants to as his running mate. However,
there is a tinge of gender and race in much of what Joe Biden is saying.
Now, there was another incident over the weekend where the vice president told a story, I guess it was last
week, about a military guy who did not want to accept a medal for valor because other
soldiers in his outfit died. Well, the story wasn't exactly true. Mr. Biden embellished it.
There was no outcry. There was no Biden lied from the media, as there would have been had
Donald Trump said that. The truth is that both Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump are imprecise
speakers, and they always will be. That is the message of the day. For more news and analysis,

you might not know. There's a lot of talk around mortgage rates lately. In fact, the Fed just had a
meeting and they cut them. And when rates get cut, it can have a big impact on your mortgage. How?
It means a lower monthly payment. You pay less interest to borrow money, so you make a smaller
payment each month. With rates so low right now, it's worth a cost.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
Hurricane Dorian continues to threaten the southeastern USA, and the news media is covering every wind gust.
While the deadly storm is being described as one of the most powerful hurricanes to target the United States ever, it is unlikely to be the worst.
Taking into account the financial impact, number of fatalities, homes destroyed, and wind speed, here are the worst.
worst hurricanes ever to hit the USA. Number 5, Hurricane Katrina, back in 2005. The Category
3 storms struck the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Mississippi, bringing a 28-foot surge of
water into New Orleans, the highest ever recorded. Katrina cost $108 billion in damages and left
more than 1,500 people dead, most from drowning after the levees collapsed. Next, Hurricane
Hurricane Andrew of 1992, the Category 5 storm hit South Florida with winds more than 175 miles per hour.
Andrew destroyed more than 63,000 homes, damaged an additional 125,000, killed 65 people.
Number three, the Okeechobee Hurricane of 1928.
The Category 4 system slammed into West Palm Beach, Florida in early September, made a second landfall in South Carolina days later.
leaving more than 4,000 people dead in its wake.
4,000.
The Miami Hurricane of 1926 happened the same year the city was designated the fastest growing town in the USA.
Weak construction made the storm particularly devastating.
More than 6,000 people were injured, 372 dead,
with experts saying the storm striking just before the Great Depression,
crippled Florida's economy until war.
World War II. The worst hurricane ever to hit America, the great Galveston storm of 1990.
The Category 4 hurricane hit Texas with winds of 145 miles per hour before heading north into Oklahoma.
The city of Galveston sits eight feet above sea level. The storm surge rose to nearly 20 feet.
8,000 people were killed, about 20% of the city's entire population.
