Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It's Thursday, September 4th, 2025.
Here's this happening today in America.
A predatory incursion, the Palestinian youth movement,
COVID back in California,
and a deal in the works in NYC.
It's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled two to one
against President Trump.
The court took issue with the word predatory incursion.
The court ruled a country's, like a different, like Venezuela, for instance,
they're encouraging its residents and citizens to enter our country illegally
is not the modern day equivalent of sending an armed, organized force to occupy
to disrupt or otherwise harm the United States.
Trump says he can activate special deportation powers under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act
because states like Venezuela have been actively sending their citizens here.
The Alien Enemies Act is triggered if there's a formal military invasion or a more loosely
organized predatory incursion.
This court feels that that standard has not been met.
Supreme Court's going to be very busy coming up.
Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas told the FBI that he believes the Palestinian youth movement
is a dangerous and has almost certainly engaged in illegal activities.
Aisha Nazar, she was speaking at the
People's Conference for Palestine in Michigan the other day,
where she openly called on supporters to disrupt the U.S. F-35 supply chain.
It's a pretty wild video going around of her comments.
She said, among other things,
if one specific node of the F-35 supply chain is intervened in,
it has a huge impact.
She also said we need to be surgical.
We need to be strategic because there's many different points
of these supply chains of death that we can intervene in,
and we must intervene in.
The Palestinian youth movement has released a document
on how to sabotage the Oakland airport,
among other airports,
that are part of the transporting
of different F-35 parts.
COVID, making a resurgence in California.
High levels of COVID in sewage has been detected.
Yes, this is the year 2025.
You're hearing this right now.
So masks are back in California.
Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis in Florida,
which now has a lot of Californians in it,
said that they are no longer going to mandate vaccines
for any children to go to school.
The Florida Attorney General said every vaccine mandate
is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery.
The New York Times is reporting on rumors
that advisors President Trump
have discussed the possibility of giving Mayor Eric Adams
of New York City a position in the administration,
same with Curtis Sliwa, which would then open up Cuomo
against Zohran Memdani,
where he had a better chance of,
It's just the two of them.
Could there be a game of 4D chess happening before our eyes, we will see?
I'm Mike Slater from Politics by Faith.

On this Thursday in baseball, if you never get a hit, you're taken out of the lineup. But in politics,
it's different. There is no daily success, failure, barometer other than people voting. And victory
The city at election time certainly does not always indicated worthy performance.
What good has Senator Chuck Schumer done for the people of New York?
The city may soon elect a communist mayor because poor voters cannot afford to live there.
The justice system has fallen apart with no bail, highest taxes in the nation.
Schumer says and does nothing.
How about Senator Mitch McConnell in Kentucky?
Backroom Mitch single-handedly killed Kate's Law, which would have slapped onerous prison
time on foreign criminals who defied deportation and illegally returned to the USA.
There are legions of them.
Somebody tell the backdoor man.
Governor J.B. Pritzker of Illinois is perhaps the worst.
On his watch, thousands of Chicagoans have been shot.
dead in the streets. The vast majority, African American. When asked about President Trump sending
troops to protect Chicago people, Prisker told the press that Trump is trying to impose a Nazi
dictatorship on America. Is there a psychiatrist in the House? The reason we have so many
bad politicians in America is no accountability by the voters.
So it's really our fault.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.

Now let's go to the mail.
Paul on a message board,
let's give J.B. Pritzker credit where it is due.
He welcomed federal help, just not the National Guard.
FBI and ATF welcome.
There is a stigma having military on our streets.
Well, not for me.
I mean, if I'm living in the south side of Chicago and I'm watching young people shoot
each other dead, I'm welping the troops that will stop that.
So I have no stigma to me.
I don't know why there would be for anybody.
We do not live in a dictatorship, obviously.
Trying to protect the people here.
Concierge member, Kevin, what do the good people of Chicago?
I do the good leader. People of Chicago elect these crooked politicians. They are not problem
solvers. Just hungry. Power grabers. It's not just Chicago. It's New York. It's L.A.,
San Francisco. And I gave you the two reasons. Ignorance and entitlements. That's why.
Bob Loudie, Tampa, Florida. In 1957, President Eisenhower sent the National Guard to
Arkansas to enforce the law that was about segregation and it was no longer a state right.
Why can't President Trump do it? Because it was a totally different thing.
The state of Arkansas was violating federal law. L.A. and Chicago, haven't violated federal law,
they refuse to protect their people. There's a difference legally.
Frank Woods, Buffalo, New York, what message do you think Modai in India is sending President Trump
by meeting with Xi and Putin? That Modai is going to do what he wants. Okay, let's see how
your economy goes. Modai has blood on his hands. India should not be buying Russian oil. That's
it. In a moment, something you might not know. Now the O'Reilly update brings you something
you might not know.
68 years ago today, the governor of Arkansas deployed the National Guard in that state
to block black students from attending a segregated high school.
In response, President Eisenhower dispatched the military to enforce integration and overwhelm
the Arkansas authorities.
Here is the story behind the little.
Rock Nine. In 1954, the Supreme Court ruled that separate schools for whites and blacks were
unconstitutional. The decision started this slow and often violent dismantling of segregation
throughout the South. By 1957, Arkansas had already integrated several state universities,
but when nine black students decided to intend an all-white central high school in Little
Rock, protests ensued.
On September 4th, Governor Orville Phobos ordered the state's National Guard to surround the school.
Video of the nine black students being heckled, screamed at spit-on made international news.
Three weeks later, President Eisenhower issued executive order 10730, placing the Arkansas National Guard under federal authority
and sending 1,000 troops from the 101st Airborne Division to Little Rock.
That evening, Eisenhower addressed the nation.
The interest of the nation and the proper fulfillment of the law's requirements
cannot yield to opposition and demonstrations by some few persons.
Mob rule can not be allowed to override the decisions of our courts.
The next day, the Little Rock Nine attended Central High School for the first time.
Soldiers remained on campus for the next six months.
And here's something else you might not know.
Despite the Supreme Court ruling, segregation in the South persisted.
The last public school to bar entry to black students was in Clarksville, Mississippi.
It finally admitted African American children.
in 1969.
Back after this.
