Have you been following the apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado that have been taken over by Venezuelan prison gangs? Now that Trump mentioned it at a Fox News town hall. The left is going to be,
Starting point is 00:00:49 oh, it's not happening. It's made up fake news. Well, a Denver law firm was hired to look into this alleged gang takeover. And they concluded that the gang took over last year. And they've engaged in violent assaults, threats of murder, extortion, strong-arm tactics, and child prostitution. The gang members approached the property manager and said that they would collect rent on his behalf if they give the gang 50%. But you're going to be told it's not real. A few more details on the school attack that took place on Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:01:21 The 14-year-old left his classroom at 9.45 and the classroom doors lock automatically behind them. the student then knocked on the door to enter to come back into the classroom, but another student who was going to let him in saw that he now had a gun. He instead went to a nearby classroom and started firing. CNN says law enforcement officials have confirmed that before the shooting, the high school received a phone threat, that there would be attacks at five schools and that this school would be the first. Donald Trump has announced that his son Barron, starting school at NYU.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Trump said he's a very high-appitude child, but he's no longer a child. He's passed into something beyond childdom. He's doing great. He'll attend classes not far from his childhood home, Trump Tower. Three of Trump's four kids all went to the school he went to, University of Pennsylvania. But Barron's going to NYU.
Starting point is 00:02:12 In other Baron Trump news, do you know he's a giant? He's somewhere between 6-7 and 6.9. In other president's children news, Hunter Biden offered to accept a plea deal to avoid a trial in a tax case, he will maintain his innocence, but accept punishment. A Trump appointee, judge is presiding over the case. Prosecutors allege that Biden failed to pay $1.4 million in federal taxes and that he was using money, in the meantime, on luxury cars, extravagant hotels,
Starting point is 00:02:43 and ladies of the night, instead of paying the taxes when they were due. I'm Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message today. Next. Starting point is 00:04:01 Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Wednesday, our election coverage kicks into turbo as the presidential vote is just two months away. At this point, Donald Trump has an opportunity to win if he performs well in the debate next Tuesday evening. So far, Mr. Trump has not effectively defined Ms. Harris for Americans who do not follow politics, and those folks are legion. It's not difficult to marginalize the vice president, who has done very little to help Americans on a national level. In fact, her record is one of the weakest in American history for a major party nominee. When you read
Starting point is 00:04:44 my upcoming book confronting the president's out September 10th, that will become vividly clear. Ms. Harris is also unable to articulate specific policies that might deal with vexing problems. I mean, how would you stop millions of people from coming into the United States? How would you bring down the price of essential goods like gas and food? We don't know because the vice president will not say. Talking about joy is not going to cut it. The problem so far with Donald Trump is that he is imprecise in his presentation. He has a record to run on but is constantly bogged down in foolish controversies.
Starting point is 00:05:30 The latest the Arlington cemetery dust up. Doesn't matter who's right. Why bother with that kind of stuff? The debate will be the defining moment. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to opine. All right, let's go to the mailbox. We got Paul Williams, Pace in Arizona. I would have no problem with Kamala Harris changing your mind on issues if she acknowledged and owned her previous
Starting point is 00:06:01 position. I'm with you. Everybody changes, evolves. But you got to explain it. Dr. Scott Cole, Sherwood, Arkansas. longtime premium member and before that an avid factor watcher appreciate it doctor i want to know if abcc news sent or is sending harris campaign sample questions no all of that is BS all of that these news agencies lean left no doubt but they're not doing stuff like that that will put them out of business if they were ever exposed lawrence cuittico san diego i know that you prefer Donald Trump refrain on vicious personal attacks, but when Obama and his wife attack him personally, do you think Trump should remain silent? Yeah. And you're asking the right person. I've been
Starting point is 00:06:49 attacked every day in my life for 27 consecutive years. I overlooked 90% of it because it doesn't matter and it would obscure my ability to deliver analysis, honest analysis to you if I got caught up with all this garbage. Once in a while, I got to, you know, I've got to teach somebody a lesson, and I will next week when the book comes out because there's a couple of people who were investigating. But no, you've got to overlook it. Get the big picture. Win the fight.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Jim Pillsbury, Dover, Delaware. My wife says Trump separated parents from children at the border. What is the other side of the story? Because if he did so, it would be terrible. The Homeland Security Department under Trump had to separate children from adults because they didn't know who was who. Nobody had IDs. So they had to interview the children separately from the adults.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Now, that caused problems, and now it's been modified. But it's not Trump's saying, take those kids away. It's ridiculous. In a moment, something you might not know. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here to cover it from all sides,

A recent survey from Newsweek finds 50% of Americans will not be taking a vacation this year, the fewest since COVID hit in 2020. The biggest factor keeping people home, record high prices.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Here are some stats. The average room, hotel room, in New York City, now costs 500 bucks a night up from 300 before the pandemic. Prices also up 30% in London. 33% in Paris, 40% Hong Kong, and a whopping 60% in the Caribbean. The increases are a result of inflation and the ridiculous junk fees that are often hidden from tourists. Here are some of the strangest surcharges we could find. At some resorts in Hawaii, they now charge 50 bucks for coconut landscape
Starting point is 00:09:33 Fees to stop coconuts from falling on people's heads. The Royal Hawaiian in Honolulu is known for welcoming tourists with their signature banana muffins. The snack used to be free. Now it's $42, but you don't know that until you get the bill. In Brooklyn, visitors are charged $45 to have filtered water, to have filtered water in their bathroom sink. At the popular Viceroy Hotel in Washington, D.C., guesser billed 26 bucks for white noise machines
Starting point is 00:10:14 to cancel out sounds of traffic. The Hyatt Regency in Boston charges people $30 for a so-called daily destination fee. The tax includes a free cup of clam chowder from room service. And here's something else you might not know. The most ridiculous fees in America can be found at Disney World. Tourists there pay extra for photos, access to rides, characters, premium seating at parades, and dinner reservations, all previously free of charge.
Starting point is 00:10:55 When Disney World opened back in 1971, an average four-night stay cost a family of four, 400 bucks. Today, that figure has ballooned to $7,000. Right back.
