Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It's Friday, September 8th, 2023. Here's what's happening today in America. New York City being destroyed. It's according to the mayor, not me. A judge rules against Texas barriers, ugly poll numbers for Biden. And a that 70 show star is going to jail for a long time. That's all coming up.
and Bill will be here with your message of the day.
But first, the mayor of New York City at a town hall meeting said,
let me tell you something, New Yorkers.
Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to.
I don't see in any of this.
This issue will destroy New York City.
What issue?
We're getting 10,000 migrants a month.
Spoken like a real Trump supporter there.
A 20-year-old illegal immigrant from Honduras murdered a 20-year-old in Troy, New York.
local representatives said, how much are the American people supposed to put up with Biden,
the governor, and the mayor of New York City? Your insane policies in full embrace of sanctuary
cities are getting Americans assaulted, raped, and murdered. Meanwhile, Texas tried to do something
that would decrease the number of illegal immigrants in this country and therefore New York City.
Remember, they put up these giant floating buoys across parts of the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass,
Texas. You can't climb over them because they spin and you can't swim under them because
is a net. Will a judge order that they be removed? The governor said he will appeal in the
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. The Biden administration just canceled the seven remaining
oil and gas leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Remember Anwar? Meanwhile,
new CNN poll not good for Joe. 82% of Democrats say they want someone else besides Joe Biden
to be the nominee in 2024.
That's the bad news for Joe.
The good news, no one has any idea of who else.
No other person in this poll got above 3% support.
Another question in this CNN poll was,
are things going well in this country?
How would you answer that?
Are things going well?
70% of Americans said no.
The head of the Chicago Teachers Union is in trouble,
as it was just revealed,
that her oldest child goes to a private school.
She, of course, has headed the unions against school choice
and has said private schools are racist
and hurt public schools by taking money away from them.
That's exactly what she's doing herself.
Of course, she will keep her job
and people in Chicago will still vote for the Democrats
who refuse to give low-income people
the same option that she had for her kids.
I'm Mike Slater at the great Bill O'Reilly
with your message of the day.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, David Weiss, also the special counsel, has announced new gun charges will be lodged against Hunter Biden weeks after an absurd plea deal engineered by Weiss himself and his corrupt boss, Attorney General Merrick Garland, was rejected by a federal judge.
Any objective person following this fiasco understands that both Weiss and Garland are desperately
trying to divert attention away from President Biden on the alleged bribery front.
If Hunter Biden pleads guilty to the gun thing, which he probably will, he will get no prison
time.
As to what happens to the tax evasion accusations against him, no one knows.
It should be clear by now to all Americans that the Department of Justice is corrupt.
Why isn't the FBI investigating a situation where the president's family is under suspicion
of grifting tens of millions of dollars?
Why do House committees have to do the probing?
That's an obvious question that remains unanswered.
If the FBI is involved in the Biden investigation, that should be publicly stated to restore
some measure of credibility to the Bureau.
But we hear nothing.
It is beyond terrible for the country that a low-level miscreant like Hunter Biden gets unbelievably
soft legal treatment.
His father to the president continues to say he's proud of Hunter.
Proud of what, Joe?
I'm Bill O'Reilly.

arizona trump's issues are legal they affect him alone not the entire country
biden's issues affect the entire country i think trump's issues affect the entire country
i mean he is the standard bearer
right now in the Republican Party.
So I disagree with you, Jim.
Gentleman's disagreement, though.
Ralph, concierge member.
Now, concierge membership, we've gone over this.
It is insurance policy for your life.
Okay?
Check it out, Bill O'Reilly.com.
Come a concierge member.
I'm telling you, you got me on your side, direct access.
So Ralph says, Bill, we all know that Biden is not there mentally,
so he doesn't know right from wrong.
It's a staff that is putting forward policy.
He's just a man to get the message out there, and anyone who will vote for him is not voting for him, but the policies the staff is pushing.
That's right.
The progressive movement controls Biden.
So you're voting for the progressive movement, not voting for Joe Biden.
Carol, concierge member, thank you, Carol.
Joe Biden does exactly what Obama tells him to do.
Obama is running the country.
Okay.
So I know that's a common opinion on the right.
But I don't hold it.
The reason I don't hold it is because Barack Obama doesn't really like Joe Biden.
And I have seen not a shred of evidence, none, that Barack Obama is actively involved
with the Biden administration.
I could be wrong.
But I'm an evidence-driven guy.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
58 years ago today, a small ad appeared in the Hollywood Reporter newspaper.
the tiny blurb stated, quote, audition madness looking for insane boys ages 17 to 21.
More than 500 men showed up for an audition to join what would soon become the biggest boy band in America.
Here is the story of the monkeys.
In the mid-1960s, executives in Hollywood wanted to cash in on Beatlemania.
TV producers pitched a new program centered around a group of young musicians.
Columbia Pictures gave it the green light.
Rather than focusing on a band that already existed, the studio decided to create its own.
They even dubbed their act the prefab for.
The ad went out on September 8th, 1965.
The winners were chosen for their individual talent and charm, but also their good looks.
The final lineup included Davy Jones, Mickey Dolans, Michael Nez Smith, and Peter Tork.
Beginning in April 1966, the group embarked on a grueling schedule of rehearsal and acting classes.
The Monkeys debuted on NBC between the shows I Dream of Jeannie and Gilligan's Island.
The program coincided with the release of their first single, Last Train to Clarksville.
Take the last train of clocksville and I'll meet you at the station.
You can be here by 4.30 because I've made your reservation.
Don't be slow.
I'm a no, no, no.
The album and TV show were both smash hits, and here's something else.
you might not know. While the monkeys may have been a fictitious band, the group hired some of the
best talent in the world to write their songs and go on tour. Members of the monkeys' roster
include Carol King, Neil Diamond, Tina Turner, Jimmy Hendricks, even a young actor named
Jack Nicholson. The Monkeys never really got them, but their success is unmistakable.
after this.
