Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, December 18, 2025, stand-up for your country, one week before Christmas Day. So everybody's busy, and we're very pleased that you are with us. A lot of stuff to tell you about. I hope you have a pen and paper there. A lot of very interesting stats you can talk about with your Christmas socializing, if you'd like. But today we're going to look ahead.
Starting point is 00:00:38 So what's likely to change next year, 2006? The economy, certainly going to change. But I don't know whether it's going to get better or worse. I think it will get better because I really want to think that, not just because of the Trump administration, but because it benefits you and me. All right? But it seems that the structure of consumer spending, which drives the American economy,
Starting point is 00:01:10 and the way that America has positioned itself in the world, still got the best tech products and all that. I think it's going to be okay, but I could be desperately wrong. Political hatred's going to get worse with the midterms next year vital for both parties. it's going to be savagery. And we're going to be here to point out all the deception, and there will be many. How about your job? Now, this is something you need to think about.
Starting point is 00:01:42 There are going to be millions of jobs affected by artificial intelligence, and it's over a rollout period of about five years. I don't know what your job is, obviously. I mean, if you are fixing stuff, you'll probably be able to do that without. any intrusion but if you're in a white collar world it's going to be a lot of replacements and so you need to look at your situation think ahead okay plan B because that marketplace in America is going to change recreation no still going to be sports sports sports winter Olympics should be fun Super Bowl A lot of sports betting, that's not a good thing, but it heightens interest.
Starting point is 00:02:36 And so sports, we are a sports crazed country. Most countries are. Most countries is soccer. Here it's NFL football, but basketball, baseball, hockey, they still have a big, big audience. So recreation is going to be built around spectator viewing of events and your own personal recreation is up to you. I recommend you walk as much as you could possibly walk, right, as you get older in particular. And then you've got to stretch, all right, every other day. And if you're more motivated, go to the gym and get a trainer and all that. All that's good.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Okay. Make sure you get eight, nine hours to sleep. It sounds like a lot. It's not. You've got to regenerate, particularly if you work hard. And finally, we'll be here for the year, God willing, okay, we're signed up for another year. Got to take it year by year. I mean, look, I'm the last man standing. There's nobody in my peer group. Britt Hume has been around longer than me, but he's got a pretty soft job down there in Florida. You know, he appears at Fox a couple times a week, and he does what I do on his nation. Brit's a smart, very competent guy.
Starting point is 00:03:56 but I'm doing a full load here. I'm doing radio, I'm doing TV, I'm doing books. So how much longer can I do that? I'm going to do it because I think it's worthy, not just for me. So we're in for another year, and that is important because fewer and fewer media vehicles are telling you the truth. It's so hard for me as a professional to really find out what's going on. I got to check everything three ways because of people there's no standards.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Social media has no standards. And the ideological TV and newspapers, they're just going to throw on what advances their cause. Not tell you the truth. We will. So keep that in mind when you're looking around for a last minute gift, premium and concierge membership on bill o'Reilly.com. That is, you know, our elite. That's what we need to keep going. So we want to build those numbers.
Starting point is 00:05:02 And it's very easy. You get a free book, of course, and all that. All right, Talking Boys Memos on President Trump's speech last night, 18 minutes. He read too fast. I don't know why. It sounded like Joe Biden. Remember that time Biden was like on speed? Read it.
Starting point is 00:05:20 It was in that bad, but he was humming. I don't know whether he had. something going on afterward or not, but I kind of would have lessen to temp a little bit. Speech itself is what I reported on News Nation, a pep rally. And that sounds dismissive, but it isn't. It's smart. What he did was smart because the polling, latest polling, Reuters got his job approval at 39%. The liberal polls have him at 40, 39. The conservative polls have him 45-46 job approval. This is a five-point gap. And no matter how you look at it, he's below 50% in job approval. He's got to get it up to 50, at least among the conservative pollsters.
Starting point is 00:06:11 And he knows it. And so it was a pep rally. Here's what I've done for you. I'm not going to play a lot of speech, but this encapsulates what the president was trying to get across. Go. One year ago, our country was dead. We were absolutely dead. Our country was ready to fail. Totally failed. Now, we're the hottest country anywhere in the world. And that's said by every single leader that I've spoken to over the last five months. All right. So the president's opponents are not going to believe that. They don't want to believe it. They will believe it. And there's nothing you can do to make them believe it. And the president's supporters, most of them will. unless they're in dire straits, unless their whole economic world is collapsing. Most of them, I think, remember, 77 million people voted for Donald Trump, a record amount of people,
Starting point is 00:07:06 voted for Americans voted for him. I would say 85, 80% are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt a little bit more time. That's my measure. And for him to get out there and say, look, it's going the right direction. was a smart move. Now, there were many problems solving specifics in the speech, with one exception. The president wants to give Americans $1,500 to put it to a health care savings account, tax-free.
Starting point is 00:07:38 So you build this up in a health care savings account, and then when the bills come in, you can pay them. All right? That is the plan. Here's what the president said. I'm also taking on the gigantic health insurance companies that have gotten rich on billions of dollars of money that should go directly to the people. The money should go to the people. That's you. So they can buy their own health insurance, which will give far better benefits at much lower cost. It will be far better health insurance. The current Unaffordable Care Act was created to make insurance companies rich.
Starting point is 00:08:17 It was bad health care at much to higher cost. Okay, so $1,500 doesn't sound like much, but when you compound it, because if this passes, you'll be able to put money in it yourself, like an IRA. It won't be taxed. So you build and build, build and build and build, and then there's a formula on how the money is invested safely, so it grows.
Starting point is 00:08:42 That is the plan. But not everybody would get it. All right, so if you are a family of four making more than $225,000, which nor many families are doing, then you would not get the money. Okay? And it will cost federal government $10 billion. It says, I figure about $20 billion. They always underestimate.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Now, it's got to pass the Senate, and that means you've got to get 60 votes to advance to the floor for a vote. For some reason, Democrats opposed this. 1500. I don't know. Why? Why would you do that? I, you know, so the Care Freedom for Patients Act, 2025, 51-48 to advance the bill to the floor, that's not going to cut it. You need 60 votes in the Senate. Now, it might come back. They might get it if they sweetened it up for the Democrats a little bit. My solution is this, extend the affordable care subsidies for one year, and it is a disaster. It is just hemorrhaging money and causing the whole health care industry to rise in cost.
Starting point is 00:10:03 That's what Obamacare is doing. Because more and more and more people are trying to get it than was originally thought. and then the deals they're making with the insurance companies, as Mr. Trump said, benefit the insurance companies, not you, not the government. All right. But if you extend for a year, then you have 12 months for both parties to come up with a fair and equitable health care law that doesn't add trillions of dollars to the debt. So that's what I am recommending. Possible? Sure. Let's face it, the US economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.
Starting point is 00:10:47 And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA.

It's this amazing site that celebrates the best of America by shipping our country's most iconic foods from legendary restaurants straight to your door, anywhere in the USA.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Now, I tried Gold Belly's main lobster roll kit and deep dish pizza. Incredible, both of them. So this holiday season, I'm gifting a coconut cake and junior's red velvet cheesecake to friends and family. Goldbelly's food is high-quality, ships reliably, makes giving deliciously easy. Starting point is 00:12:48 Hope it happens. Also, the president is giving each military member $1,776. It's a bonus payment. They all get it. It's going to cost the federal government $2.6 billion. That's okay. Now, the president doesn't need Congress to accrue that. He can do that by an executive order. So that's what happened last night. Just wrapping it up, smart move for President Trump to give the speech. I don't think it was well watched because people are distracted around Christmas time. And anybody who doesn't like Trump, not going to watch it. And, you know, right away, as soon as he got off the air, I switched over to CNN.
Starting point is 00:13:32 I never watch MS. That's ridiculous. So, you know, I was trying to punch it up, you know, like they always do. News Nation falling away the fairest, if you're looking for fair, in America. All right, executive order to lower marijuana to a classification of narcotics. That's pretty much you can take it. So the president signed it. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Marijuana is bad for you. It might help a few people who have medical maladies, maybe. But studies show it doesn't really do. it and you get addicted 30% of all people who use marijuana for medical purposes become addicted to it and it is an addictive substance okay so it's terrible for your health awful I don't care at this point of my life I got by my kids not using it I don't of course use it um but I you know a lot of people making a lot of money off pot And I'll say this to you one more time.
Starting point is 00:14:41 So legalized pot, legalized pot, legalized pot. And that's not what this bill does, this executive order. It just makes it, you know, the federal government's not going to prosecute you. You walk down the street in New York City, any street, eight in the morning, nine in the morning, pot smoke. You stand outside of middle school. That's 11 to 14-year-olds. This kid smoke is pot every day. I've seen it.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I've done it. Okay? You picked the school out. out. Pour the neighborhood, the more kids are smoking pot. Sorry, it's true. Uh, and they're going into class stone. Where do they get the pot? You're not supposed to get pot if you're 11 years old. Okay, the drug addicts, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, they can buy all the pot they want. So they go in, they buy the pot, then they sell it to the kids. And on what they make, selling it to the kids, they use on heroin.
Starting point is 00:15:39 That's what it is. All right. Now, you're never going to hear that analysis anyplace. Oh, pot, pot, pot, pot, pot, pot. I don't want pot in my neighborhood. I don't want to smell it. I don't want to see it. I don't want people using it in the open.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Am I crazy? I think it's a public safety hazard. Anyway, I'm not going to criticize President Trump for the EO. He's got his own reasons. I don't think it's important. The next story is the national defense, Authorization Act. So the Senate is approved, $900 billion, okay, goes to the military, and it was 77 to 20. So finally, there's a little bipartisanship, and the House approved
Starting point is 00:16:25 at 312 to 112 to 112. What does it do? It stops diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Defense Department. They can't do it. It's against the law. Okay? Authorizes active duty troops along the U.S.-Mexican border. Good. We know some of the troops are going to go into Mexico because that country is not wise enough, okay? It's going to have to be confronted. Deploys a Golden Dome missile defense shield. I don't know what that is. I do know it's going to be a lot of money, okay? And it includes a 4% raise for all service members. That's fine with me. And you can't, if you're in a military academy, if you're a transgendered person, male, you can't play against women, which is nobody does that anyway. And it authorizes $800 million in military spending for Ukraine.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Okay, so that's in, that's passed. That's important. It's not so much important. Republican health care bill passes in the house and let's see what was the vote here
Starting point is 00:17:45 I thought I had it but I don't have it in front of me but it passed along party lines and it goes to Senate but you need 60 votes and they're not going to do it because it doesn't have anything about subsidizing Obamacare in it okay
Starting point is 00:18:02 So the Republicans in the House put forth a bill and says, no, we're not going to have any more subsidies for Obamacare. And it passes long party lines because Republicans control the House. But in the Senate, you need 60, and there are only 53 senators on the Republican side. Not going nowhere. This is just symbolic. No more spending, spending, spending, spending. And really, if you, I don't know whether you're involved with party politics or not, I'm not. I'm an registered independent.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I don't care what they do. I just want the best for the country. But Democratic Party is just spending, spending, spending, spending, spending, spending, taxing, taxing, spending. You got to stop. You got to stop. You reach it up to here. Stop.
Starting point is 00:18:55 I mean, that is the big thing for me. All right. Gender care. interesting bill that I support so it would criminalize if a doctor changes the gender of a minor by surgery it would also criminalize doctors pharmacists anybody who give minors hormones puberty blockers past 216 at 211 in a house again says gonna block it because it's Progressives in the Democratic Party, which is most of them, they don't want it.
Starting point is 00:19:37 I don't think it's morally right for a physician to take a minor, even with a minor in a parent's consent, into an operating room and do this kind of surgery. Okay? 18? All right. You're an adult under the law. But it won't get passed. Death with dignity, right?
Starting point is 00:20:06 This is assisted suicide. So New York Governor Kathy Hockel, which is a wishy-washy weak leader. I didn't like this at first, but it suddenly changed her mind. Of course, why not? Catholic woman says she is. So terminally ill New York is a less than six months to live, according to physicians, have to certify that. can have the state kill them. Medical aid and dying.
Starting point is 00:20:37 13 other states have it already in California, Hawaii, New Jersey, Washington, Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico, Delaware, Maine, Oregon, D.C., Montana, Vermont, all except Montana, progressive states. Okay? Other countries that have it, Canada, Holland, Australia, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Switzerland. When the weather cools down, Golden Nugget Online Casino turns up the heat.

Starting point is 00:21:55 Physically President Ontario. Eligibility restrictions apply. See Golden Nugget Casino. for details please play responsibly russia really has it but it's not codified and all you have to do with russia if you're uh if you want to commit suicide over there or have the state uh do it is just stand outside of kremlin and shout up sanity of putin and i just shoot you and you're gone it's a much easier process i know i'm being kind of gallows humor but i'm a roman catholic and i subscribe to that theology.
Starting point is 00:22:33 And the theology says that the creator is responsible for birth and death. And the state shouldn't be executing anybody, any time, anywhere for any reason. So I don't believe in a death penalty. But what separates me from the people mostly progressives who don't want it, is that if you are convicted of a capital crime, you go to a special prison where you engage in hard labor for the rest of your life. six days a week that's worse than death and if you don't cooperate then you get a minimal amount of food now you'd have to go into cruel and unusual punishment
Starting point is 00:23:11 routine but you get my drift you don't go to some Fed prison where you're playing ping pong or lifting weights so I'm against capital punishment I'm against assisted suicide and of course I'm against abortion but I can't impose those beliefs as a commentator, and neither can any of the legislator. I got a letter from a priest, a good man. Because why don't you do more about abortion? I said, father, what do you want me to do? I'm on a record. Everybody knows what I believe, but I can't impose that belief. That's not my job. I can try to persuade, but not my job to tell somebody with a counter belief that going to hell or whatever. I mean, that would be wrong. So I just wanted you to know where I'm coming from on
Starting point is 00:24:04 that. And you know, the final thing on this assistant suicide, there is so much pain management, new technology and pain management, so much, that you can live out your life if you're terminal in not much pain. But a lot of people don't have any money. They're destitute. They don't want to wreck family finances. I understand. All right. So a lot of us are getting packages delivered to our homes for Christmas, and we're sending packages as well. According to SafeWise, which is a website that tracks package deliveries this year 24, 25, been more than a million packages stolen off people's property. That's actually down from 204,000. That's actually down from 23, 19%, 13%, 13%, 13% down.
Starting point is 00:25:00 The following companies are the ones most affected. Amazon, UPS, USPS, FedEx, grocery delivery, Hello Fresh, and other. Okay, so what happens is that they call them porch pirates. So they cruise the neighborhoods and they follow the Amex truck or the other trucks, the food delivery trucks. follow them. And then they put the package on the porch or in front of the door, wherever, and then they go, they leave. And the porch pirates are there. And they look around and see
Starting point is 00:25:38 if anybody's there. They're not. They're them. They steal it. So theft, being a thief, is no longer draconian in America. In California, they don't even prosecute you. You can steal up to $1,000. Nobody's going to do anything for you. In California, go ahead. steal well they are so uh 15 billion in consumer losses because you're never going to get that back not amazon's fault that they're stealing tops aren't going to solve it um what i do is i know my guys my delivery guys and you know i we have a place where they put the stuff that's not visible so i you know if you have that circumstance you want to talk to them about it five worst cities for theft of packages Chicago, New York, Miami, Houston, Baltimore, all right?
Starting point is 00:26:31 All drug involved. These are drug addicts doing it, most of it. Some kids, but mostly drug addicts. It's an easy score for them. America's plan to give fewer holiday tips this year. Remember tips next year are not taxed. A lot of the Trump big bill stuff kicks in next year. Okay, bank rate survey tipping child care workers down 55%. Wow. Housekeepers down 57%. Teachers. I don't get this. I never tipped a teacher ever. My kids would give them a little gift, but not Jack, not money. You guys tip teachers? It's almost like a bribe, right? Teachers,
Starting point is 00:27:23 down big 53 mail carriers down 50 uh no uh 27 and landscapers i pay my landscaper enough not get any tips garbage collectors i do the guys are good so i tip them down um so less generous is not good if you can afford a tip what you always tip if you're having trouble i understand so but you know you might give them something else. If you can't give them money, you give them something. Just acknowledge them in the Christmas season. Heating, this is a brutal thing. Up 9% on average cross-country. This according to National Energy Assistant Directors Association. So electric is up the biggest, 12% from last year. Now, Trump addressed that last night. So he's got AI stuff going on that's going to bring down electric stuff. I hope so. Natural gas is up 8% heating oil, flat, propane actually decreased.
Starting point is 00:28:31 So average heating bill in the USA has increased 28% since 2021. You know, as I get older, I don't like to, cold never used to bother me. I was a hockey player and our home ice was outside? Now I'm kind of a sissy. So I got the thermostat on 6970 here, and I'm getting hammered. But I can afford it, but it's annoying. But if you can live with 6768 and got a sweater on or something, but it is annoying. You don't want to be cold at a house. Back to politics. So I predicted that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would wind up on the view. Okay, I didn't think she was going to make politics a career. I thought she was using it and wanted to get into the showbiz world.
Starting point is 00:29:34 Looks like I might be wrong there. So she was asked outside the Capitol by the editor of Migrant Insider. I don't get that publication. Do you guys get Migrant Insider? It's a million of these things. So this is what they asked Ocasio-Cortez, Roll it. Do you think that you'll beat that you could beat J.D. Vance
Starting point is 00:30:01 in a head-to-head race for president, as polling suggests in 2028? Listen, these polls like three years out are, you know, they are what they are. But let the record show, I would stop him. I was stopping. Thank you, Congresswoman.
Starting point is 00:30:17 So she would stop the vice president if the election were held today. So J.D. Vance has not replied. I wouldn't suggest that he does. But you can see that, you know, this woman has her eye on the prize. This woman, she'll be Schumer. If you get into the Senate, that's almost a certainty in New York. She, no, three years you can. It's going to be a totally different country.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Can't predict. But that's what's going on. Oscars are finished, but that's a long time ago. Here's a quiz. All right. What was the best picture last year? What won the Academy Award? If you know, write me,
Starting point is 00:31:10 bill at bill o'Reilly.com, bill at bill o'Reilly.com. It was a movie called Anora. I didn't see it. I don't think anybody even knows what it is. Roll the tape. Today this could be the greatest day of all. Do you promise to love, honor, and cherish all the days of your life?
Starting point is 00:31:31 I know. And do you, Anora, take this handsome gentleman standing before you to be your best friend, your husband, do you promise to love, honor, and cherish him all the days of me? of your life. Say yes. Oh, what I do. It is now my great honor
Starting point is 00:31:48 to now pronounce you're not exactly Casablanca or gone with the wind or the godfather. Anora. Best picture. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:32:07 2029, ABC's giving it up. Giving up the Academy awards going to YouTube. Why? Because millions more people watch YouTube than ABC. This is a good move for the movie people. It'll be all over the world. Most movies produced by Hollywood make their money overseas now. That's why you see so many explosions. They don't make money here. People don't go to the theaters anymore. But anyway, different Oscars. But there's what? Three more years of ABC. Final thought in a moment. Okay, here is the final thought. Christmas a week from
Starting point is 00:32:51 today, as you know, and that'll go fast. 2025, good and bad. And we'll get into that a little bit next week, two broadcasts next week. On Monday, we'll get a little into strengths and weaknesses of this year, which I think you'll find interesting. We'll back everything up as we always do. And then we are on Tuesday. So we got bill o'Reilly.com slash live. bill o'reilly.com slash live and get those in over the weekend so I can go through them and we got hundreds now but we want to hear from you okay and that'll be a fun show that'll be our last show of the year next Tuesday we got a lot of good things for you that's it been a good year for us I gave out my Christmas bonuses to my staff this week thank you very much for buying stuff on bill o'reilly.com that really helps really helps because
