Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, September 11th, 2025 stand up for your country. So I got 100 media requests, you know, confronting evil, sweeping the country because evil killed Charlie Kirk. Evil shot missiles at Poland. Evil is causing death and destruction every day in the Middle East. And I have to answer questions about it. One of the interviewers said, the release of your book this week is haunting because of what happened to Mr. Kirk, which I, when I thought about it, I said, wow, that's absolutely true. Now, we have a lot of things going on here.
Starting point is 00:01:01 President Trump invited me to Yankee Stadium tonight for the 9-11 Memorial, so I will be going there and speaking with him. Very pleased to go, very happy to get the invitation. And I don't know how much access I'll get to the president tonight, but I'll write a Sunday column explaining all of it. The special on confronting evil is so high. hot. It's on two networks tonight. Nine Eastern on the C.W. Network, 9 Eastern C.W. 10 Eastern on News Nation. Because obviously, Charlie Kirk lost his life because of an evil person. And evil is on the rise, as we'll demonstrate in a moment. So it's important to keep a clear head. They'll catch the guy.
Starting point is 00:02:00 We tape in the afternoon, which killed us this week because we were behind, couldn't report to Charlie Kirk assassination real time because this show goes out worldwide and it has to be taped at a certain time in the afternoon. If something happens after that, we just can't get to it. But you guys understand, I'm on Twitter all day long. The website is updates all day long. So we're on this. They'll get this assassin.
Starting point is 00:02:31 They'll get him. And if it is a radical leftist, all hell is going to break loose in this country. I don't want it to, but that's what's going to happen. So the talking points memo is the rise of evil in the USA and around the world. It's hard to put into words how dangerous this time is. And it happened in modern times only once before. In the 1930s, the result was 100 million people being killed in World War II. The United States defeated evil, and we had help, but we did it, all right, primarily.
Starting point is 00:03:14 And if you read, killing Patton and killing your rising sun, you know all it. But now the United States is not engaged. in battling evil any longer. Putin's got to be stopped. You've got to be stopped. You cannot be shooting missiles into Poland, a NATO member. You've got to be stopped.
Starting point is 00:03:40 And the reason that President Trump is being very deliberate is because Putin has nukes and he'll use them. And that's not like Iran. you bomb them, they can't do anything about it. But Putin cover my book. Okay, there he is. So is the Ayatollah. 9-11 never would have happened, except for the Ayatollah. He's right on a book. Anyway, evil is a threat to every single person in the world. Yet many of us in America look away. They're not going to read confronting evil. They're not going to learn about history, how to defeat it. They don't care. They want to be on the internet. They want to be
Starting point is 00:04:28 on social media. They want to be football games all weekend. They don't want to be involved with reality. Got to stop. Now, I think Mr. Kirk's murder will get the attention of a lot of apathetic Americans. Has to. Has to. Particularly younger people. And that may be his legacy, that things have changed. We're going to go through that. Here's my summation last night on News Nation. Go. We are entering a new age of evil.
Starting point is 00:05:03 The last age that we had was in the 1930s, with the rise of the dictatorships all over the world that led to 100 million people dead in World War II, the Holocaust, on and on. Now, I wrote this book confronting evil to signal people that it, was coming. And it was a harrowing day for me today. I was born today in 1949. And I got up, and the first thing I heard was that Putin shot missiles into Poland, ultra dangerous. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:37 Putin is as evil as they come. He's on a cover of confronting evil, my book. He is a psychopath who is looking to slaughter human beings. That's what he wants to do. You don't shoot missiles at a NATO member unless you are trying to upend the entire world in an evil way. And then a few hours later, a few hours later we had the Charlie Kirk assassination on the eve of 9-11, where we lost 3,000 people to evil. So I started the book's research and writing about a year ago, and I knew, as you say a lot in your monologue, that things are deteriorating, not only in the United States, this is not an American problem. This is a worldwide problem. And my opinion that I inject into the book, Back by Facts, is that too many people in the world and in this country are looking away.
Starting point is 00:06:41 We are looking away. And we are allowing evil to gather power. Now, the progressive movement does not want to punish evil. They're soft on crime. They don't believe that most criminals should be incarcerated. And the progressive movement, I will submit to you, is the reason that that poor Ukrainian woman was slaughtered on the bus in Charlotte. The judge knew the man who allegedly did that. It's on videotape.
Starting point is 00:07:10 It was dangerous. The man beat up his own sister. Judge let him out on the street anyway. Judge is a progressive judge. Okay? How many times do we have to see that? How many times do we have to see that? And that woman, Teresa, whatever her name is, is still on the bench. Still on a bench. What is wrong with you people in North Carolina? You can remove her. Why is she not removed? And the people of North Carolina themselves should be demanding that. This is how you stop it. Now, I don't think the The judge is evil. I don't know the judge, but she enables it. She allows it to happen.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Okay. So on 9-11, 24 years ago, everybody got the cliché is a wake-up call. Everybody got it, okay? And look at this. And I'll submit to you, most Americans didn't know what the jihad was. Osama bin Laden, man, no. You don't know anything about it. And all of a sudden, whoa, we're attacked.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Thousands of people dead. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver. through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA.
Starting point is 00:08:54 They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty-free. With billions in precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau, You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. national debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver,
Starting point is 00:09:48 through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door, or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401k, tax and penalty-free. With billions and precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau, you can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. The Kirk thing isn't at that level, but it's close because of social media and how successful he was. And the harrowing personal story of two little kids and on and on and on.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Now, we woke up after 9-11 for a little bit, and then we made mistakes. in Afghanistan and Iraq, but we wiped them out, most of the jihadists. There's still a few around, and Iran's still functioning. Iran is the head of the snake, which is why Ayatollahmanian is on the cover of the book. But back here, Pritzker, Mandani, Newsom, Wu in Boston, what's going on here? you're voting for people who allow mentally ill, violent citizens to roam around at will. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:11:39 And that's to anybody in those states who's voted for those people. There's no excuse for it, but it's happening. So, to sum up, Americans have to mobilize now. Got to pay attention. I know most, not most, but many, millions won't. They refuse. They're too selfish, too addicted to the Internet, too, you know, they don't care. And one message to the media.
Starting point is 00:12:15 So the view is on today. Oh, Charlie Kirk, oh, Charlie Kirk, oh, Charlie Kirk. Did they invite Charlie Kirk on and talk about anything? I'm checking it out, but I don't think so. They disparage them, but now it's, oh, oh, oh, that's Disney. All right, I'm going to show you in a minute of what happened at MSNBC. Anybody surprised? What happened over there?
Starting point is 00:12:40 No. So the media is enabling evil on a lot of fronts. And again, if we don't walk away from that, we're partially responsible. That's a memo. Okay. Charlie Kirk headed an organization that targeted younger people for robust debate. Mr. Kirk was a traditional conservative, said some controversial things. So what?
Starting point is 00:13:10 I say controversial things every hour on the hour. That's his constitutional right. I do believe he was murdered because he did say things that some loon, mentally ill person, didn't like. That's my belief. If I'm wrong, I will tell you. But I think that's what's going to be borne out. Interestingly enough, one of our guests recently is a man named Dr. Owen Anderson. He teaches at Arizona State University.
Starting point is 00:13:38 He was the advisor to Charlie Kirk's organization on a. ASU campus. And he knew Mr. Kirk, and he joins us now from the college, from Phoenix. All right. So your role for Turning Point USA was Watt at Arizona State. Yeah, so every student club needs a student, a faculty advisor. So I serve that role for TPSA, and I'm one of very few professors who would do it. The students had a hard time finding a faculty advisor, which is rare, but it shows you the climate at ASU. And I think really is a window into the spiritual condition of our universities. All right. Now, you knew Mr. Kirk. You had dialogue with him. Yeah, we'd met at several of the events that he holds and just a
Starting point is 00:14:37 great guy. I mean, my heart's been breaking, so sorrowful for his wife and children. And just, Just as you said, classical conservative, he loved to debate. And what I've been thinking of him as is he's the American Socrates. He would go to our universities and he would debate anybody. He would answer and ask questions. And the students loved it. I mean, even if they thought they disagreed with him, they still flock to his events. And his events were packed.
Starting point is 00:15:05 And that's probably because the students that loved to debate weren't getting that in a classroom. They're not allowed to question the ideologies that reign in our state universities. but Charlie Kirk gave them the opportunity to have those kinds of debates. Now, as a faculty advisor for Turning Point and the fact that you know Mr. Kirk, you knew him, the reaction from your peers, the other teachers at ASU was what? Well, ASU and faculty have been pretty quiet as of yesterday, but the students made the call with TPSA and with me to cancel the event, last night. They have a regular meeting every week out of safety concerns. And for me, this really
Starting point is 00:15:49 raises a much larger problem because the hate that's been aimed by faculty members at ASU toward Kirk specifically is monstrous. Can you give me an example of that? Can you give me some specifics on that? Yeah. So in 2023, Charlie Kirk was going to host an event with Dennis Prager at ASU's Honors College. And the Honors College professors, I think it was 37 out of 41. So not every single one, but the vast majority wrote a letter to their dean protesting Charlie Kirk speaking at the college. And they called him a bigoted white nationalist who spreads hate and attacks people. From the letter, you get the impression that he goes to campuses to wrestle with people because if he goes there and has a rational discussion, they consider that
Starting point is 00:16:39 attacking. And so the event was no longer allowed to be held at that college. Who made that decision? Who made the decision to cancel the event at the college? I believe it was the dean of the honors college. All right. So he folded to this faculty letter. Did the people who wrote sign the letter, did they give you an example of Charlie Kirk's quote unquote hate? Yeah, they had a number of, and this is on the internet. So it's available as public information. but they gave another number of examples of his hate, and all of them came from far left-wing media sources
Starting point is 00:17:15 like media matters. Right. So they just listed. And these are research professors who say they treat students, you gotta do good research. And their example of research is media matters. The prevailing wisdom today at ASU is on a scale of 1 to 10. How progressive is the faculty at Arizona State University?
Starting point is 00:17:39 University, 10 being off the chart progressive. Off the chart progressive. We had a required employee training to teach us about the problems of whiteness. And we have classes on anti-whiteness. And they'll say, well, that's just a technical term in the scholarly literature. But that's not what it communicates. Well, you should have it anyway. Skin colors should not be an academic subject.
Starting point is 00:18:06 That's ridiculous. All right. So then the final question. is. You got a guy like Charlie Kirk. He's very successful. He's mobilizing traditional and conservative students, younger people. He's obviously a Trump supporter. He helps Donald Trump and get elected for the second term. He then becomes a target. Do you believe that he was targeted for that activism? Or was it just some rhetoric? That's something he said. well the examples i have from faculty are targeting him for that rhetoric they they say if you give an
Starting point is 00:18:44 argument to suggest that the that john money's sexual philosophy is false then you're attacking students they use that that language and if you're a student and you're hearing your professors tell you that a person's coming to campus to attack you that's very vitriolic language that puts a lot of fear into the students but it's not what he did we all know what he did because his videos are all over social media. And students are lucky to... Look, you don't have to agree with Charlie Kirk to know that whoever killed him
Starting point is 00:19:13 is an evil SOB that's undermining our constitution. And I mean, that's it. There's no two sides to the story. But I don't think, and you correct me if I'm wrong, that even after this terrible occurrence, that any of the radical progressives who are teaching at Arizona State University will change their opinion at all?
Starting point is 00:19:34 I don't think they will. No, we've seen that with the executive orders in the spring against teaching DEI. They simply rename those same ideas and keep doing it. So no one's minds are changed. If anything, they'll just pivot to saying this is because of guns and try to keep ideology and then hateful language out of it. All right, doctor, we appreciate it very much. Thank you. And as I said, the media lights the fuse.
Starting point is 00:20:04 So there has never been a more vile, hateful network than MSNBC. That is now longer a part of NBC News, but was for more than 25 years. And it ruined the NBC News brand. It's run by a corporation called Comcast out of Philadelphia, headed by CEO John Roberts. Now, what Roberts allows on MSNBC is not just opinion.
Starting point is 00:20:33 I have no opinion, fine, all right? But it is a hateful opinion, and there's no dissent. You very rarely see a non-progressive guest on MSNBC. They're blackball. Like, I can't get on MSNBC to talk about my book or CNN, although there is one show on CNN that offered me a slot. But Anderson Cooper, for example. So I know him, and we wrote him unless, hey, you know,
Starting point is 00:21:02 let's talk about confronting evil. He didn't even reply. He's a sniveling coward. And you can quote me, and I'm sure the Internet will. Anderson Cooper is a sniveling coward. That's who he is. And the corporations pay these people a lot of money to do what they do, which is basically indoctrination.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Now, after Charlie Kirk was shot, One hour, just one hour, MSNBC loaded up a show anchored by Katie Turr, T-U-R, another radical leftist, okay, with all kinds of anti-conservative and traditional people. One of them is named Matthew Dowd, one hour after Kirk was shot. Here's what he said. He's been one of the most devices. especially divisive younger figures in this, who is constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to hateful thoughts, lead to hateful words,
Starting point is 00:22:15 which then lead to hateful actions. See, blaming Kirk for his own assassination. So Dow was fired. Comcast had to fire him. Had to. but is anybody surprised you anybody answers no there are far-right cranks too I have to mention that Oklahoma City bombing okay but they're heavily outnumbered in the year 2025 by progressive hate in my humble opinion joining us now is Heather McDonnell You know she is. She's at the Manhattan Institute. She joins us from Irvine, California. You've read a lot extensively about this, and that's why I want to get you on. You're a conservative.
Starting point is 00:23:10 You're up front with everybody. You don't like the progressive movement. I never really thought the view was a threat. MSNBC a little bit more heightened there, but it didn't make me that queasy. But maybe I was wrong in the wake of what happened to Charlie Kirk. How do you see it? Well, we've learned that even Utah Valley University is not immune from the cancer of anti-Westernism, the cancer of student ignorance of student narcissism. Before Kirk was going to speak, there were nearly 7,000 signatories to a petition
Starting point is 00:23:53 articulating just the philosophy of Matthew Dowd. that somehow speech equals violence. Where was that petition launched? Who did that? Well, I assume it was a Utah Valley University, you know, the usual online petitions. All right. So at the school, 7,000 people, nobody knows who they are, signed a petition that Mr. Kirk shouldn't speak there because he's a hater. Is that that's what happened?
Starting point is 00:24:26 Right. And so this ideology that Dowd is talking about is coming out of campuses. It's the completely specious connection between speech that disagrees with the elite consensus about race, about white supremacy, about the optional nature of gender, about the unqualified rights of foreigners to enter the United States without. any objection from citizens living here, that that equals hate speech and that somehow preposterously students are put at risk from words that they don't like. And that view that this is hate and hate equals violence then switches to its opposite, which is that violence is justified against violence. So the universities, you know, I'm grateful that Trump is going after them, but it can't happen soon enough because they are the source of a complete rejection of what has been the founding ideals, ones that we didn't always live up to.
Starting point is 00:25:40 There's been a lot of violations of free speech in American history and British history, but we got pretty close to the ideal before the student narcissism took over. Well, this is a Marxist play. as you know, Heather, in Russia when they deposed his czar. And I had that in confronting evil, what Stalin did. It was like, if you oppose communism, you oppose the people. You're hating the people. Okay, and so we can execute you.
Starting point is 00:26:13 We can kill you because you're hating the people. And that's been in play since 1917. All right, I mean, so all this is is just gussied up for the American university system right now. Yesterday, they released a list of the worst colleges for freedom of speech. Harvard is an honor. It won the last two years.
Starting point is 00:26:39 But, you know, because Trump has really taken them to the woodshed to use a cliche, Harvard stopped. But Boston College, a Jesuit-run school, I think it's number five. You know, you can't say anything that they don't like. And it's a progressive school. And so if you say anything against progressives, then you're committing a hate crime. And that's the bowl that Charlie Kirk was put
Starting point is 00:27:09 into. But he, right, he disagreed with the progressive approach to politics and life. He spread that word. I thought he did it in a responsible way, although some of the stuff that he said was pretty volatile, but some of the stuff I say it's pretty volatile. Okay? So he was killed because of he's a martyr. And I don't know if there's any true remorse. I'm watching a view today. I go, I don't know about this. So I don't know if this is ever going to get any better. Do you think it will improve now that this atrocity has been exposed? No, I don't think so. And every side is going to be saying if they're going to, You know, if somebody from allegedly their side commits some atrocious act, they will always say, and the right will do this too, this is an individual act. It's not a product of ideology. We should be allowed to make our arguments. We're never literally advocating violence. And I'm sure the left feels the same way. We're not responsible for this guy. And, you know, it's easy to mouth the bromides about we've got to tone things down and remember the things that unite Americans. I'm thinking, well, what are those?
Starting point is 00:28:23 at this point. Like, we don't even agree that there's such things as males and females, or that, you know, children that have no risk of dying from COVID should not be put in masks and prevented from interacting with their peers. If we can't agree on that, I don't know what the heck we do. Well, I agree with you. We're at a divisive state that rivals a civil war. There is no doubt about it. All right, Heather, we really appreciate your point of view, as always. I do believe that things are going to improve a little now because people are starting to lock in and hopefully you'll pick up confronting evil
Starting point is 00:29:00 and understand how this route, how it grows because it's really growing fast in America. All right, 24th anniversary of 9-11, President Trump's vote at the Pentagon this morning. It was basically homage to the victim's families. He kept the speech non-political which was good. There were liberals and conservatives and independents killed
Starting point is 00:29:27 in that horrible terror attack. There is a poll out from John McLaughlin, who is a trustworthy pollster. Very interesting question. Should every school in America be required to teach its students that on September 11th, the United States was attacked by radical Islamic terrorists? All right?
Starting point is 00:29:46 The poll says 60% Americans say yes. 23% say yes, but don't mention the terrorist religion. And then 9% say no. Democrats, 83% want to taught Republicans 87% independent, 77%. Interesting poll. I'm going to tell you where I was and all of that 24 years ago. And I'll tell you a little bit more about the presentation tonight at Yankee Stadium in the final thought, right back with it. I thought of the day, 24 years ago, I was sitting in my living room in my house on Long Island
Starting point is 00:30:27 when I got a call from Fox News about the World Trade Center attack. The new BMO, V.I. Porter MasterCard is your ticket to more. Starting point is 00:31:35 We even charted a boat. Going to Long Island Sound around LaGuardia Airport to the east side of Manhattan wouldn't let us through. So I had to go to Woodmere Long Island, which is out in Suffolk County. they have a television studio and a broadcast from there. I thought you might want to see a clip of our coverage during that 9-11 week.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Osama bin Laden is wanted by the United States right now. He's wanted for the coal bombing. He's wanted for the bombings in Africa. There's no reason on earth why we should not be stalking and hunting down this man right now, just for those things. And then if he's implicated in this, then we have them already. We've been hunting them. We've been doing it on the ball and chain around us.
Starting point is 00:32:17 The people, I know the guys that are doing it. I'm telling you that they have not been, you've already heard where the national health community is prohibited from hiring people or dealing with people that have nasty backgrounds. Now, 9-11 in my neighborhood, about 25 people died, mostly younger people, a very close friend, lost his two sons. Boy, two. And so, you know, it's still very personal here on Long Island for us.
Starting point is 00:32:47 and I'm sure in any part of the New York metro area, very painful. And I applaud Obama and Trump for doing what they did to dismantle the jihad. That was a very skilled operation. It doesn't get the credit it deserves because it was overshadowed by the mess in Iraq and Afghanistan. And to me, you know, in hindsight, we didn't do it the right way in Iraq. You had to do what you did in Afghanistan. You couldn't let al-Qaeda sit there. You just couldn't.
Starting point is 00:33:27 But Iraq, we tried to make them a democratic nation, and it didn't work, and it never would work, and we should have known that. But the United States did right the wrong about the jihad. Now, there's still jihad. around. Still some of them over in Guantanamo Bay. But we did it. That's like you did in World War II. Mitojo and Hitler and Mussolini and all these people. We always did. We do it. I'm just hoping now that we can fight this evil that has got a grip on our country as we discussed in broadcast today. So what I'm going to do here is I got to go to Yankee Stadium. I
Starting point is 00:34:11 was very happy to be invited by President Trump. I don't know how that's going to come down. I know I have to show up at a certain time and I got to wear nice clothes. You don't go in with a sweatshirt. And it's going to be, you know, Yankee, New York Yankees really are a classy outfit, whether you're for the team or not. And they'll do the 9-11 memorial very, very well. I'm glad I'm going to be there. And I hope I get a few words to the president, but I'm going to write a column about the whole thing. And I'm going to drop the column earlier than Sunday, maybe even Friday, tomorrow. I might drop it. Depends on, you know, what happens and how I can get it in order here. We're crazed here because of all the media requests to talk about
Starting point is 00:34:56 confronting evil because it just fits in with Charlie Kirk and it fits in with 9-11 and everything that's happening. And I'm trying to do as many as I can because I want to get the word out, Obviously. Some of it's been postponed. I think we're going to do Hannity Radio tomorrow. I hope that gets on. It's a great interview. Sean did a nice job on that. And Glenn Beck is going to be on Monday, I believe. Mark Levin is going to be Friday night. I'm going to do that interview from City Field because I'm going to, I'm supposed to go to the Mets, a lot of baseball. But I'm very anxious to talk. We'll already talk to Hannity, but I'm going to do an update on Kirk with him Friday. Then I'm going to talk to Levine. Then I'm going to talk to Beck. And those three guys are very, very powerful. And they're very, you know, I like talking to all of them.
Starting point is 00:35:50 I know them forever. So that's where we are. And we thank you very much for watching and listening to the No Spin News. Keep the faith. You know, it's a cliche, but I think we're going to come back on this. I'm praying we do. We'll see Monday.
