Welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, stand up for your country. Well, I'm very glad you're here today. This is an important broadcast for you, your family, all of that. This is not a podcast.

That drives me nuts. This is a broadcast which conforms to journalistic rules where facts rule. Donald Trump is taking a big risk, not only with himself and his administration, but with us. Every other president since World War II would not take that risk. Every other president knew that the USA was getting hosed in foreign trade. From Truman to Biden, every one of those men knew it. No one would do anything about it. Now Donald Trump says he will.

And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. So the president is correct. The data is there. Foreign nations make far more money from trade with America than we make from them. It's in the trillions of dollars when you add it up. How do they do it? Well, I'm going to walk through that. I'm going to tell you exactly how the countries abroad are screwing us.

Why aren't Americans aware of this? Two reasons. The press ignores it. It's too boring. It's too complicated. and we live pretty well here. Despite the bad trade deals, we live pretty well. In fact, we live better than anybody else on the planet.

So there isn't an urgency like there is with criminal migrants, for example. Okay. Now, Donald Trump has now become the biggest president disruptor in the of this republic. He passes Theodore Roosevelt. The turn of the 20th century, Roosevelt went after the robber barons, the monopolies. He tried to crush them. It was a brawl. I write about it in confronting evil. These robber barons were as bad as you could possibly get exploiting American workers. But they employ millions of people. Even though most of those people were being exploited, they got a paycheck. So Roosevelt going after these big shots was not

popular. Teddy won. He knocked out a lot of the monopolies in this country. Again, people don't know it. History isn't taught anymore. But when you read Confronting Evil, you'll see, because that is an interesting chapter. So Donald Trump has now wiped Teddy off the face of the map by saying to the world, I'm going to fight you all at once to get better trade agreements. He might win like Teddy did. It's painful for Teddy, and nobody knew the outcome for a while. Same thing could happen.

Donald Trump could get better trade deals here. that could absolutely happen. But in the short term, today, if you were in a stock market, you lost money. I lost money. I bought a little stock today. Not much. I bought a company that I feel a year for now is going to be very prosperous. And I didn't buy many shares.

But that company got whacked. I'm not going to tell you what it is because I can't do that. But I bought a little bit today. I still believe in the American economy and that we are. going to do well going forward, but in the next few weeks, oh boy. So the president is making a decision to try to catapult themselves up to greatness because if it all comes true and manufacturing comes back to the United States and investment comes back to the United States, the American worker will prosper big.

time. But if it doesn't come true, it's going to be hard economic times. All right, so we have it. Okay. Now, enter the press. They want Trump to fail, except for Fox News and Newsmex. Everybody else in the press wants Trump to fail. So as soon as the stock market go down, you get hysteria. And so they have taken an economy that was actually in pretty decent shape and moving in the right direction. And they are going to turn it upside down. And I think 50-50 into a recession. Wow, 50-50. And you have, as you said, companies like Goldman Sachs using the word stagflation, that combination of inflation and slowing growth.

So that's NBC Comcast. It's going to be a recession. It's going to be horrible. You're going to lose your home. Your kids will be out in the street. You know, that. And then people who are not informed who aren't watching the NOSPN News or listening to, they don't know. They just don't.

Fear is a great political motivator. So presses a raid. This is bad. What Trump is doing is bad. All right. Now, there is a segment, a sliver of information that comes out that is fair. Yeah, that's why this broadcast prospers. Excuse me.

Last night on News Nation, I was on with Cuomo as I am every Wednesday. And Geraldo was on, too. Geraldo just took his family to Japan. Here's what he said. Go. I can tell you, we went the length and breadth of the island archipelago and the big cities like Tokyo and the others, we did not see a single American car on the road

in Tokyo. Not a caddy, not a Buick, not a Ford, not a Chevy, not a nothing. We have plenty of Toyotas here in my neighborhood and, you know, around the country. And you won't see American cars in China, in South Korea, in Southeast Asia, in Germany, and most of the rest Europe. You will not see them, which is why members of the United Auto Workers Union went to the press conference to bolster President Trump yesterday. So American cars are shut out, whereas many of us drive foreign cars. It's not me.

I never do that. I have a catalog. It's nine years old. It's a good car, and I'm keeping it. All right? I would never buy a foreign car under any circumstances, right, because I buy American. Anyway, Rivera told the truth

that countries like Japan, our big ally, set up a system whereby American cars are so expensive once they get on the ground in Japan that no Japanese is going to pay that money. And they do that by tariffs. They do that by taxes, VAT, value-added tax, regulations. Oh, we don't like this tire, and you've got to do this and you've got to do that. So they're shut out. Is that fair? No, it's not fair. That's the best example I can give you. And then you multiply that by a thousand American products. Our products go all over the world, but many of them cannot get into the individual countries

like India. India makes it almost impossible. Canada, you can't get dairy in there, American dairy. Can you get American crops in there? Mexico's the same way. They don't want a certain product. slap on all onerous regulations so you can't get it down there. That's what it's all about. Do we all understand? Raise your hand if you don't. So people like that are easily manipulated by the far-left hate Trump press. Now, I had a set news nation straight last night about what the core issue is here, as far as Donald Trump's mind, what is in his mind? Roll the tape. It did affect American markets, but not in the way that people think. So let's go to Bernie Sanders. Let's go to the income inequality crew. Well, why do you think there's so much income inequality? Because the high-paying union manufacturing jobs went overseas.

And when they were replaced by service jobs that don't pay as much or public service or whatever. So what Trump clearly said is, I'm going to bring back. those manufacturing jobs, people are going to invest in plants in America, that's going to heighten the potential to earn money by Americans. But that's highly speculative.

Okay. I don't think it's highly speculative, but it is speculative. But that's what Trump wants to do. He wants to bring back the jobs that have fled overseas. Apple already said it's going to relocate billions.

back to the USA from China. The Gulf nations are now pledging a trillion-dollar infrastructure investment in American manufacturing. So if you are a regular American, all right, and you're trying to earn a living, and you have a choice between getting into a manufacturing plant and earning $75 an hour or driving an Uber, what are you going to take? But the manufacturing jobs have gone to Mexico and China and Southeast Asia because the workers there work for cheap. Some of them are slave workers. In China, they have actually slave workers.

So the American companies go, oh, we don't care about American workers. We want to make as much money as possible. We're going over there. Trump wants to stop that. Okay, again, raise your hand if you don't understand it. It's important that you understand what the intent is. Now, Cuomo goes speculative. All right. So Trump has one of two choices. He can ignore it like every other president has. Or he can try to fix it. And he chose to try to fix it.

That's where we are. Okay. I think that is about as fair an explanation as you will ever get from any person in the media. Here are the other reactions from the media last night. It is hard to overstate the potential impact of tonight's breaking news, and it's no exaggeration to say it has the potential to affect more lives and livelihoods in this country and around the world than virtually anything short of wars and pandemics. Donald Trump has been on a quest to turn the United States relationship with our friend Canada, one of our closest allies on its head between his manufactured trade war and threats to make Canada the 51st state. His actions are so ludicrous and so deeply unpopular that they are prompting the booing of our national anthem at NHL and NBA games held in Canada over the last couple weeks. President Trump calling it a declaration of economic independence. He calls it Liberation Day. It is almost certainly to liberate more money from your wallet.

It's utter nonsense. The European Union charges the U.S. a 39% tariff. That's obviously preposterous. It's totally invented. We don't even know where that number comes. comes from. That's just stupid. He's stupid. All right. Everybody knows that the VAT tax in Europe, which is between 20 and 25 percent in most places, jacks up the price of all imported goods, not just from the USA. You know, this kind of dishonesty, if I'm the head of Comcast NBC,

he doesn't work for me. He's just not smart enough to work for me. And he's misleading everybody. And then Wallace, you know, his actions are so ludicrous and deeply unpopular. Of course, they're going to be deeply unpopular with Canada and every other country because they're not going to make as much money. If Trump's successful in what he's doing, those countries aren't going to make as much cash. So they're not going to be happy about it. But again, Nicole Wallace?

Does he know anything? And I hate to get personal because I know. know these people. I got to tell you they don't know anything and they don't care to know. They don't care. All I want to do is bash and hate Donald Trump. And that's what they do. But this stuff gets out to casual Americans who don't follow the news who don't understand what this is all about. All right, let's wrap it up here. So short-term pain is going to happen. and Donald Trump is responsible for the short-term payment. That's a fact.

Longer term, nobody knows. I don't know. I can't even guess. I'm hoping, not for ideological or party reasons, I'm hoping that Trump makes good deals and the American economy surges, which absolutely could happen as well. And that's what I'm hoping for.

Why? Because I want every American to live better, to have more security. That's nothing to do with Donald Trump. I thought his presentation yesterday was pretty good. All right, I know what I'm talking about here. I've been to 86 countries. Rivera told the truth. He's all over there.

You're not going to see any cars made in America in these countries. So, Trump is a disruptor. will he win place your bets that's the memo doge Elon Musk more anonymous reporting you know how much I love anonymous reporting I can't you know it's 50 years in a business for me I'm an analyst now but you know it's based on reporting I very rarely have ever used an anonymous source I always can get somebody on the record, a name? No, doesn't matter anymore. So Politico, it's a website, left-leaning, says that, hey, Doge is going to leave soon.

All right? Doge is going to leave soon. Musk, Elon Musk, is going to leave the government soon. Politico says they've been told by Trump's inner circle. Who's that? Who's that? Can you narrow it down a little bit? Trump's inner circle.

Do Melania tell you that? It's absurd. But immediately, NBC News picks it up as fact. Go. A senior White House official tells NBC News, President Trump told cabinet members last week Musk would be leaving his government role in the coming months.

Maybe, but who? Why can't you name the person that said that? Here's what I said on News Nation last night. What do you think the reality is about why Musk may be getting pushed or whether he's walking away? Well, as I said very early on, Musk is a short-timer. It's just too hot. You just can't have a guy that hot. And he did a good job exposing the government waste, bringing it back onto page one.

But now the technicians should take over. You don't need Elon to go out and sell it. It's sold. And so it's likely that Elon Musk will go back into the private sector. Now, I said that on November 19th of last year. I knew that Elon Musk wasn't a long timer in the administration, but he accomplished something very important. You got everybody talking about government waste. Okay.

Uh, more anonymous sources. Boy. Uh, this is I'm about President Biden. Remember him? Where are you, Joe? Uh, I think I saw him on Hollywood squares, but I'm not, maybe that I don't know. So there's a book out, anonymous sources all over the place. Um, the book, uh, written by Jonathan Allen, NBC News and Amy Parns,

Parnas from the Hill, says that they interviewed 150 insiders. Who does that mean? Okay. Maybe you can name a few of them? I guess maybe a few are named in this book, but I don't know. But it's all about how Joe Biden got knifed by his own party. Go. So President Obama absolutely did not think that Joe Biden should continue.

according to our sources, close to President Obama. And he also didn't want Kamala Harris to be the replacement for Biden. He didn't think that she was the best choice for Democrats. And he worked really behind the scenes for a long time to try to have a mini-primary or an open convention or mini-primary leading to an open convention. Did not have faith in her ability to win the election. Uh, sources close to President Obama.

And I get shut up, O'Reilly, you know, what are those things? All right, Fox News poll, 994 registered voters. They couldn't go to 1,000, I guess, I don't know. Fair sample about federal income taxes. Question number one, thinking about paying taxes, which is the following bothers you to most. The amount you pay, 12%, complexity of the tax system, 7%. Rich people are not paying enough in taxes. 45%.

Whoa! Too many people don't have to pay taxes. That's very poor, 7%. Way the government spends with Texas is 26. So 45%, according to Foxpole, think the rich should pay more in taxes. I'd like to know why. I pay more than 50%.

Okay? That's what they take away from me. Now, because I have corporations and all of that, it gets back and forth, they take, then they have to refund, and all of that. I'm for a flat tax myself and a VAT, maybe one or two percent of what you buy. And that's a much better, fairer system. I'm for that. But it's never going to happen. I understand Congress never going to do it. But I don't, you know, if rich people aren't paying their close the loopholes. Close them. You don't have to raise the tax rates. Fifty percent is about it.

Okay? Second question. In general, do you think taxes you pay are too high, about right, too low? Too high, 59, of course, about right, 38, too low, two. Next question, do you think the national debt? Is a crisis major problem? Not a crisis, minor problem, no problem at all. Crisis 31. Major problem, 48, that's 79% of Americans are worried about the national debt, as they should be. Next question, how would you rate the Trump administration in identifying cutting wasteful spending? Excellent, 24, good 20, that's 44%. Fair, 13, poor, 43%. How could you possibly rate the Trump administration as poor in cutting wasteful spending?

How? they set up doge to do that what kind of a moron are you to answer that question that way that's the hate Trump people okay yesterday we told you

there was an undocumented alien named Kilmar Garcia who was deported to Salvador in prison by ICE all right tomorrow there will be a in Maryland because that's where the man was picked up by ICE agents about what's going to happen here because the Trump administration has conceded in a court filing that it was a mistake

to deport Kilmar Garcia a father of a young girl and a husband of an American citizen. The reason it was a mistake is that Mr. Garcia had a court order from a judge that he was entitled to an asylum hearing. So the government says it made a mistake. Now, I'm getting letters like, oh, all the aliens, you know, okay, look, if that's where you are, that's where you are. But we deal with facts here. So this guy got hosed. So I said, yesterday, we'll get them back. Now, we've been in church with Tom Holman's office, the head of ICE.

Very cooperative office. Very refreshing. I've got to say, Tom, doing a good job. And let's bring them back. Now, put him on a plane, bring them back. That's it. Then he gets his asylum hearing and what happens, happens. There? Okay. Smart life. I told you this, but I'm going to reemphasize it. I get lots of letters from concierge members who have a direct line to me, and they're in trouble. for one reason or another in life. And we try to help them with whatever trouble they have. Now, San Francisco is one of the most unhealthy cities in a country. So Wallet Hub is fully, you know what. Now, I don't know why Wallapud made this mistake, but if you go to San Francisco, go, the apprehension level of the people that live in the city through the roof. They cannot go out of their homes, multi-million dollar homes, because San Francisco is the most expensive cities in a world, without seeing barbaric displays of human behavior. Law enforcement is broken down, civility is broken down, services are broken down.

This is a terrible place. And it used to be my favorite city in the country next to Boston. It's a terrible place. It's unhealthy for children. When they go out to the playground, the green space, they have to walk by drug addicts putting needles in their neck. Is that healthy? No.

And no one does anything about it. Filth all over the place. That healthy? Environmental. That healthy San Francisco? filthy, dirty, all over the place. This is a disgrace. This.

Now, I said I like Wollahelot, but I do. But not this. This is dishonest. Now, I don't know why. I don't. I do know that San Francisco was one of the most lucrative convention cities in the world at one time. Nobody wants to go to now. They don't want to go.

Just to walk from your hotel room to the Moscone Center, the convention center. You want to be grossed out every day, every way. I could clean San Francisco up in a month, but civil liberties have to be suspended, not clean it up. And then after a month, we'll do the hearings and we'll get things under order. That place is so far out of control. I don't know another city in this country that out of control, San Francisco. because if you know it, it's boxed, okay? It's small. It's not a major city like New York.

New York's got boo-coo problems, although the new police commissioner, Tish, doing a good job, okay? But San Francisco is boxed by water. And these drug addicts come there because the city pays them, gives them money to buy drugs. That's why they come there. and they don't spend the money on rent or anything else or hygiene.

They're just sitting there getting high every day. That's what you want your kids to see? I say it's really, you know, so I had a vent on it and I have. me after 9-11 and I have I don't know a dozen letters from her she lived in Carmel California she died Let's see, what was the 2019, May 13, she was 97 years old. Very nice woman. Boy, was she a nice woman? And she devoted her life after she left the entertainment industry to helping animals. You had a big animal center out in Carmel. And, you know, when I heard my staff, nobody even knew who she was.

Fame is so fleeting, you know, these movies. And I can't tell you how big Doris Day was. If you were around back then, you know. And now it's like she never existed. Interesting. So happy birthday, Doris. I hope you're in heaven. And you would be 1003 today.
