Well, this was the best day the Trump administration has
Starting point is 00:00:38 had since the inauguration. In its second term, anyway, lots of action. And we're going to run it down. I'm not going to use a guest because there's so much here that's important to your life. And I'm going to run it down. I'm going to speak more slowly than I usually do, because tremendous amount of information. And as always, with Donald Trump, it could change every hour on the hour, but this is what we know. And that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. So press conference this morning, president looked about as happy as he can look. So he was going to boy it.
Starting point is 00:01:22 First up was the Chinese trade. Now, this has caused angst all over the world. stock market fluctuations all over the place, a lot of fear and loathing, a lot of anger, a lot of anti-Trump criticism. We all know this. Okay. So over the weekend, there was a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, between Chinese representatives and Americans. And they talked about trade for three days. Here's how President Trump summed it up. Go. And they've agreed to open China, fully open China. And, uh, I think it's going to be fantastic for China.
Starting point is 00:01:59 I think it's going to be fantastic for us. And I think it's going to be great for unification and peace. Well, I hope so. But you never know. Now, as I mentioned, I'm going to China at the end of this month. I've got work to do there. I think I'm going, but you never know. But this is obviously a positive step.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Stock market opened up more than 1,000 points. You get it. But, of course, there's dissent because in the eyes of, I don't know, maybe 30% of the American public, Donald Trump can't do anything right. Roll the tape. It had to lower expectations. In order to meet expectations, in order to exceed expectations, you know, it would be basically what you're looking at is a retreat here. That's a lot. I mean, it's just ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:02:53 And why MSNBC, which is NBC News, would run that. that is just, it's absurd. You know, if anybody ever said that to me in any context, I'd just slice them up. I'm not a retreat. This is a positive step. But that guy, I mean, there's a legion of them. And NBC News recruits those people. That's what bothers me about it. Okay. So, if you, it was Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and a guy that I don't know, Jameson Greer. Those were our two guys in Geneva. It looks like they did a good job. You can read, Well Street Journal is probably best at this, all of the 145% trap tariff drops to 30, drops to 15.
Starting point is 00:03:47 I'm not going to bother you with that. Okay? Suffice it to say that the heat is now dropping, which is good for the world. Okay? Now, the details, as I said, are going to change. It's going to be in. It's going to be out. And the anti-Trump people will nitpick every single thing.
Starting point is 00:04:09 And the pro-Trump people will say, hallelujah, this is, we're going to be whatever. Okay. Here we will tell you the truth. This is a very positive development for you. family, your friends, and for the country. That's a true. Let's go on to drug prices. Now, this in particular is senior citizens.
Starting point is 00:04:31 This only has to do with Medicare and Medicaid, because feds pay money to the states and they have drug prescriptions in that package. Donald Trump cannot regulate under the Constitution. prices that private companies charge in the marketplace. But when the federal government is picking up the tab, he can. So that's what this is all about. All right. And ever since I've known him, President Trump has been furious
Starting point is 00:05:06 that Americans pay far more for drugs. Even though it's U.S. pharmaceutical companies making those drugs, then they pay overseas. And the reason for that is tariffs. that Belgium and France and Greece and all the countries all over the world will not take those drugs from the U.S. companies unless the price is fixed. And the price is negotiable, but it's much lower than what we pay. Here's President Trump today. Go. Whoever is paying the lowest price, that's the price that we're going to get.
Starting point is 00:05:43 So remember that. So we're no longer paying 10 times more than another country. whoever is paying the lowest price, we will look at that price, and we will say that's the price we're going to pay. Most favorite nations, that's what it is. All right, and Trump's going to say to the pharmaceutical companies, the United States buys your drugs to distribute to the people on Medicare, and in some cases, Medicaid, and this is what we're going to pay. And a drug company is going to have to do that.
Starting point is 00:06:16 they can't afford to lose the US market okay this is an extraordinarily good thing for Americans and for senior citizens because this thing has been out of control for a long time of course the Trump haters they don't like it go well let's be clear God created the Republican Party in order to deliver tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations so I will take with many grains of the idea that Donald Trump is actually going to do something on drug prices. Well, he's probably dumber than the first guy, and it's a race to the bottom. Look, pal, you're a Congress from Pennsylvania, and if you are that dumb, you should resign.
Starting point is 00:07:05 He's already done it. He already signed executive order on it. Are you that dumb? I guess you are. His name that guy is Brendan Boyle. it's ridiculous okay um so it's very difficult in this country to get the truth i wrote a message of the day on bill o'reilly dot com it's free you don't have to sign up for anything explaining why we have a 90% retention rate of premium members on bill o'reilly dot com because
Starting point is 00:07:46 because you cannot get the truth from 90% of the media outlets and politicians. Well, Trump is trying to get these prices down. So senior citizens have a little more disposable income. You know what co-pay is? Okay? Trying to get it down. Oh, he's terrible. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:08:10 It's just unbelievable. All right, so the president is on. on his way to the Gulf might be there by the time we air. And he's going to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates. He's got Marco Rubio, Secretary of State. He's got Pete Heggssef, defense, Treasury, Scott Besson, the guy who was in Switzerland, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik, who I ran into at the Nick game on Saturday, right? Saturday, yeah, and Nick's got destroyed by the Celtics. Anyway, Ludnik was there, and I had a nice
Starting point is 00:08:51 conversation with him. And this trip is about deals, not policy. Right now, at the Home Depot, you'll find storage solutions made to fit your needs. Grab an HDX tough tilt to protect your tools, or keep your sports equipment contained with reinforced snapfit lids, or stack up and make better use your space with bins and totes built to last. Whatever your story, we've got the gear to keep it organized and protected at the Home Depot. How Doers Get More Done. If you're thirsting for asphalt melting your work boots, tape measure has anger issues, nail guns talking smack again, and hard hat baked onto head-level refreshments, we definitely have that. cool off with gatorade summer blaze available only at circle k when you're feeling the heat
Starting point is 00:09:53 circle k makes your day so donald trump is trying to secure one trillion dollars from the saudi government um to invest in u.s industry i think he's going to get it because the the Saudis need our weapons to fight off Iran. I think he'll get the trillion. He's got a deal for $600 billion now. He wants it up $400 billion. Okay. Could be wrong.
Starting point is 00:10:23 In the United Arab Emirates, the same thing. He wants to make deals that they will buy American AI stuff, semiconductors, all of that. And a gutter, Trump wants to basically talk about military security. which means that if we have to attack Iran, we'll be able to use all the Gulf states in order to base. And he's also going to throw in Gaza ceasefire stuff. So he'll be back on Friday, I guess, the president. And that's a long trip for him. Now, he may go to Turkey, and I'll tell you why in a moment. But along the way, Gutter has offered to donate a jumbo jet to the Trump administration
Starting point is 00:11:16 because Boeing can't build Air Force One. Now Boeing, based out of Seattle, and I think they have a big plant in South Carolina as well, is a dire trouble. I don't know what happened to. It used to be the premier plane building company in the world. Now it can't do, it's constantly in trouble. So, Air Force One, as you may have heard Trump say 18 times today, is 40 years old. You don't want to be flying around a 40-year-old plane. But Bowling Camp, it will be Air Force One. So gutter says, hey, we'll give you our best plane. Free.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Trump says, okay. Oh, no, no, no, no. I mean, it was really funny. And I only did this because of my news. I have to gather the news. I turned on the view, and there they are. I mean, I got it. Like these ladies know anything.
Starting point is 00:12:12 So if the Trump administration does accept that plane, it's going to have to be done with congressional oversight. Now, they'll get it because Republicans control Congress, but they just can't take the plane. There's steps you have to go by. And Congress has got to be involved in that. And it will happen, I think. And then Trump says, after I'm president, then I'm president. I'm going to, the Qataris told me I can use the plane at my library because Reagan has a plane out there, an Air Force went out in Seamy Valley, I believe.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Anyway, this is just epistle. It means nothing, okay? But this is what the Trump haters, they grab onto. All right, habeas corpus. Now, this means something. So we'll go from nothing to something. think. Habious corpus means that the government cannot come into your home, and if you're arrested there has to be a warrant, and then you're entitled to an attorney, and you're entitled to a
Starting point is 00:13:18 speedy trial in front of a jury of your peers, that's habeas corpus. Government can't violate that according to constitution. It has been violated four times in the past, in our past history, and I'll get that out in a moment. But Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who is a bomb thrower, Okay, put this out. Go. Well, the Constitution is clear, and that, of course, is the supreme law of the land that the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus can be suspended in a time of invasion. So I would say that's an option we're actively looking at. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:53 The invasion is migrants. Twelve million undocumented here. So the Trump administration says it's an invasion. Supreme Court going to say that? I don't think so. but it could be wrong, okay? But that's the Trump administration said. We're invaded.
Starting point is 00:14:10 We're invaded. Now, we weren't really invaded because President Biden invited them in, allowed these people to come in. That's the problem that Trump administration and Miller had. So this wasn't guys just storming the walls. Biden said, hey, come on in. I don't care. We're not going to obey immigration law, my administration, for four years. We're not obey in it.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Once that gets into a court system, the invasion thing is going to be tamped down. So I don't expect to hear a lot about this. All right, habeas corp is not going to be suspended. Okay, you can take it to the bank. If you can get a bet on that, take the bet. Now, the other thing, Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus just in the state of Maryland. Because in that state during the Civil War, there were riots. Maryland was a divided state between slave, people wanted slavery, people did.
Starting point is 00:15:10 And there were riots in the streets, and they were provoked by Confederate spies. So Lincoln said, no, we're throwing everybody, all the rioters in jail. No charges, nothing. Boom, you're in jail. That's what happened there. Then in 1871, the Ku Klux Klan took all. over 11 counties in South Carolina, took them over, ran them until U.S. Grant
Starting point is 00:15:46 finally sent federal forces down and suspended the writ of habeas corpus. This went in and wiped out the clan. Then I didn't even know this. In 1905, there was a rebellion in the Philippines, which was controlled by the USA, And they suspended habeas corpus there. And in 1941 after Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese,
Starting point is 00:16:11 they suspended habeas corpus in Hawaii. They didn't know if there were Japanese infantry, is there other than right? The only times would happen. Isn't that an interesting story? Now, Miller just does that, throws that a hand grenade in, just to drive the liberal media crazy, which work. And then Miller goes out and has a nice dinner.
Starting point is 00:16:33 That's what the Trump administration does. Okay. Thursday. Zelensky is going to meet with Putin in Turkey. Okay. Why? Because the EU has threatened Putin, not Trump. Instead, if you don't sign off on a 30-day ceasefire,
Starting point is 00:16:59 we are going to put massive sanctions on you. you on Russia. And Russia economy is like this. Okay. So it was a direct threat from Macron of France and a whole bunch of others in Europe, Germany, okay, said, hey, you better stop for 30 days or we're cutting everything off. Trump hinted he might go from the Gulf to Turkey if he thinks that stuff is going well. We're watching it closely, but that's why that happened. Putin and Zelenskyy have only met once before in 2019. They hate each other.
Starting point is 00:17:44 But, you know, look, both can't continue this way. That's a strong point that the West has. Both Ukraine and Russia are getting massively hurt. Hamas releases the last American hostage in Gaza, Aiden Alexander, 21 years old. He was 19 when he was abducted by Hamas. He was in the Israeli army. He was raised in Tenafly, New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:18:13 And they let him out. And he was given to the Red Cross in Gaza. The 59 hostage is still there. 24 of the 59 are dead, according to Hamas. Trump is trying to get the rest out. I'm I'm doing to my family
Starting point is 00:18:31 because we're going to Burlington for the event of liquidation candidate. We're now to find the
Starting point is 00:18:36 best of the best of the best from the home and much more. With offers over offers
Starting point is 00:18:44 I can go back to be going to see how much the liquidation because it's very cold
Starting point is 00:18:50 because it's very hot for Burlington, Marks Rebaughes Wow! Ryan Reynolds here from
Starting point is 00:18:56 IntMobile with the price of just about everything going up. We thought we'd bring our prices down. So to help us, we brought in a reverse auctioneer, which is apparently a thing. Mint Mobile unlimited, premium wireless. Had it to get 30, 30, a bit to get 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 50, 15, 15, just 15 bucks a month. So, give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch. Up front payment of $45 for three month, plan equivalent to $15 per month required. New customer offer for first three months only. Speed slow after 35 bigabytes of
Starting point is 00:19:23 networks busy. Taxes and fees extra. See mintmobile.com. So I'm glad that Mr. Alexander's home with his parents, that more than about a year and a half. Boy, boy. So you can see that all this happened in one day. Oh, geez, boom, boom, boom, boom. Think back to Joe Biden. Think any of that would have happened? Just asking.
Starting point is 00:19:49 All right, Donald Trump is urging his Supreme Court to end Biden's mass parole. Now, this is a story that people don't understand. Again, that's why I will like you to watch and listen on the radio with a pen and paper. So under the Biden administration, there are four countries singled out for special consideration in the migrant area. Four countries. Those countries are Cuba, Haiti, Nagragua, Venezuela, all horrible places run by crazy. people. And in a humanitarian way, and that's what the basis of this was, if you can get here and you're a citizen of any of those countries, you can stay, according to President
Starting point is 00:20:41 Biden. But he didn't vet anybody. Of course not. Why would he bother vetting anybody? So in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and to a lesser extent, Haiti and Cuba, criminals came. And they're running a while. not overwhelming. The most criminals are from Mexico and Central and South American country. Nikonagra, of course, of that as well. But Biden was noble in a sense that these are terrible countries,
Starting point is 00:21:11 political repressions all over the place, but then he didn't vet anybody because he was too lazy to do his job or he didn't understand or he was in a fog or he's taking a nap. I don't know. So Trump has done to the Supreme Court hold it. we have to vet these people. But a judge in Boston, of course, Indira Tawani,
Starting point is 00:21:33 appointed by Barack Obama, said, no, no, nope, Trump can't demand that. Okay, so Trump's going to the Supreme Court. The problem is that Justice Kenjani Brown Jackson, probably the most liberal member, even worse on the left and so do Mayor, is in charge of hearing this. I don't think it's going to get anywhere. This is politics in the justice system, the immigration system. But maybe I'm wrong.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Maybe it'll get to the Supreme Court. I don't know. Hey Bill O'Reilly here in my career. I have interviewed seven presidents, covered every major story of the last few decades. But I've never seen an opportunity like this one. President Trump's second term could mirror the economic boom in the 1920s. A time when unemployment hit 1.8%.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Stock soared 265%. Inordinary Americans had their shot at real prosperity. That's why I've recorded a special presentation with renowned investment expert Alexander Green called the rebirth of the American Dream. Alex will reveal how President Trump plans to slash regulations, cut taxes, bring manufacturing back to America, and unlock the AI-driven tech.
Starting point is 00:22:52 boom plus you will get details on six specific stocks that could soar during trump's presidency please visit trump's american dream.com to watch our presentation now let's go to newark new jersey uh i don't know why you would want to go to new new jersey uh the devils play there have a nice arena but not exactly uh the kind of town you won't spend a lot of time and i'm sorry suburbs are nice cities are dumb airport doesn't work so you can't fly in there you got to fly to philly or new york can't fly into newark if you try you're going to get hosed anyway there is a big ice detention facility in newark and a bunch of left-wing people besieged it over the weekend roll a tape. All right. All right. So the mayor of Newark Ross Baraka, Democrat,
Starting point is 00:24:03 55 years old, two-term mayor. He was arrested for the, let's see, disturbing to P trespassing. Nothing will happen to him. I mean, he got what he wanted. This was a stunt. Okay, they're noble, the migrants, they hate ice. Okay, on and on. We all know what it is. And, you know, I'm not opposed to that kind of a demonstration. Just don't break the law. Don't. You know, demonstrate what you want. Iran. So here, the Trump administration is caught in a tough cycle. Iran is playing games, just like Putin's playing games. They don't want to make any deal.
Starting point is 00:24:48 They want to get a nuke. But Trump is very clear you're not going to get a nuke. And if you continue to do this kind of stuff, build a nuke and enrich the uranium, we're going to bomb you. Or Israel will bomb you, but you're going to get bombed. It's as simple as that. That's what it is. You've got to stop enriching uranium to make. make your bomb, we're going to bomb you.
Starting point is 00:25:13 We're going to take out all your ports, not going to get anything in or out. So the Iranians go, okay, well, we'll talk about it. And talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. So Steve Whitcomb, you know, he got very high praise from President Trump today. He's the head investigator. He was the guy who did the Chinese deal
Starting point is 00:25:33 and he goes over to Oman, Muscat, to negotiate with the Iranians. Are they going to get a deal? They have to get a deal because the mullahs have no protection. Israel love to waste them. Love to. Take them right out.
Starting point is 00:25:52 They have no allies in the Gulf. Everybody hates Iran. They have no allies. Putin is their only ally. And Putin's not going to, believe me, he's got to know problems. So they've got to get a deal, but it's very, very difficult.
Starting point is 00:26:08 I'm pretty good negotiating these things. Um, but I wouldn't want to be doing this. These people, when you read the chapter and my book, Confronting Evil, which is out in September on Ayatollah Khomeini, what do you see? I mean, these people are not, they don't live on the same planet that we live on. All right, the Pope. So he invites the media in, all right? I understand, uh, worldwide media, which is not much better than the American media.
Starting point is 00:26:39 The American media is as corrupt as it's ever been in the entire history of our country. And you know, how many times do I have to prove it? Okay, so the Pope invites everybody in at the Vatican's Nervi Hall today and says this. The church recognizes in these witnesses, I'm thinking of those who report on war even at the cost of their lives. the courage of those who defend dignity, justice, and the right of people to be informed. Because only informed individuals can make free choices. And that's true. That's why we do so well here. Our goal is to inform you honestly.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Now, the Post speaks English, but he was speaking in Italian, which I thought was a mistake. Because most of the media in the world, because of social media and the internet, is English. I don't know. Why are you speaking Italian? For what? Most international reporters speak English. But that's nitpicking. But he's right. I mean, you know, we need an honest, vibrant media.
Starting point is 00:27:56 And I've been in war zones. I've been at risk. And I did it to try to get you information. You know, I got a ton of mail. read you one letter later about why are you going to China you know and I have to go I'm reporting all right I have a window that very few human beings have by this invitation and we're going to try to shoot a little bit I don't know whether they're going to be successful doing that or not but either way I have to do it am I scared I'm not scared I mean I'm not that's not the kind of
Starting point is 00:28:34 guy I am. I don't think the Chinese are going to do anything untoward. But if they do, they do. Smart life. So I'm the wrong guy to give you this advice. I don't want to be a hypocrite. I am not a patient man. And that's good and bad. I get a lot of things done because I cut through the BS. I got no tolerance for it. But sometimes it's ridiculous. And I'm demanding that things happen and read but if you are patient you are smarter than I am or more disciplined than I am however about a month ago on April 16th and all hell was breaking loose about these tariffs this is what I said go now stock market's crazy again today again I reiterate I'm not doing anything all right it's up down it's annoying beyond belief
Starting point is 00:29:33 But to sell on the down, and I, you know, I think it will sort itself out in the next month or so. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm doing, which was nothing. Not selling. I bought a little bit, but not much. Now, I'd turn it out to be right today, May 12th. But three days hence, I might be wrong. So here is the smart life tip. Number one, be as patient as you can.
Starting point is 00:30:12 I was patient. I didn't make any crazy moves. But now I've recovered, and maybe you have two, all of the things that I lost when the terror of hysteria kicked in. What am I going to do now? I looked at it today, I looked at my portfolio today, and I'm going, I didn't pull the trigger on any sales, but here's the smart life tip. If you went through mental anguish earlier this year because of the stock market craziness, if that happened to you, you might want to consider
Starting point is 00:30:54 slimming it down. Now, okay? So I told you a few weeks of that I sold some gold that I had because it was at the high level. I can't give you individual financial advice. I can't tell you what I'm doing. I have a tolerance for risk, so I don't have to sell. But I know a lot of people who were really almost physically sick about what happened to their portfolios in April. If that was you, cut it down.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Get your money out, get your money back. Maybe you made a little money, okay? And just live so you're not suffering because it's going to go down again. I don't know when. Nobody knows when. All of these economic signs today were good. But if somebody does a terror attack, if some crazy thing happened, you know, that's smart life.
Starting point is 00:31:56 You've got to know yourself. All right, the global organized crime index is out with the most dangerous countries in the world. Okay? Fascinating a list. The kind made with real fruit juice, a pinch of Sicilian salt, and the sparkle of the Italian sun. With no added sugar and just 10 or less calories per can, enjoy. With love for Italy. by San Pellegrino Chau now.
Starting point is 00:33:05 And this is based on human trafficking, smuggling, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, financial crimes, cyberdependent crimes, environmental crimes, like shooting wildlife and all of that. That's what it's about. Here are the top five, and I'll give you another five. Myanmar, that's Burma. Okay, that's number one.
Starting point is 00:33:26 That is narcotics, the Golden Triangle, poppies, heroin, the Enemar military government, which is a dictatorship, totalitarians, they get paid off, big heroin factor. Colombia, that is cocaine. Same thing. Mexico is a combination of all drugs and the highest murder rate in the Western Hemisphere, by far dangerous country out of control. Paraguay, now that's an interesting country, Paraguay.
Starting point is 00:33:59 A lot of Nazis went there after World War II. That's a smuggler's haven. Very few people enforce the law in Paraguay. If you're a smuggler, no matter what it is, you can go there and operate with impunity. Next one is the Congo. That is diamonds and totally out of control murders. No law enforcement in the condo. Here are the next five.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Nigeria, a lot of crime, very little supervision. Then we go to South Africa. that's basically street crime. They can't control street crime in South Africa. If you walk around Johannesburg after dark, you're out of your blank in mind. Iraq, that's a government breakdown, and there are so many guns in Iraq,
Starting point is 00:34:45 so many jihadists, so many idiots running around. Afghanistan, same thing. So everybody's got a gun, and they don't like you, they shoot you. And Lebanon, no central government. Now, the USA is 67 on the list. Decent. UK is 61.
Starting point is 00:35:04 They're more dangerous than we are. The UK, China's 33. China is all about stealing other people's stuff, intellectual theft, that kind of thing. You commit a crime, a street crime in China, you're done. Okay, you're finished. There's no due process in China. The safest place, Polynesia, in the South Pacific, nobody there, but nothing to steal. But if you want to be relaxed, you go to Polynesia.
