Hey Bill O'Reilly here.
Welcome to the No Spin News, Monday, March 3rd, 2025, stand up for your country.
Looks like the Pope is near the end.
We will have a special report tomorrow.
I believe he'll probably expire with the next few hours.
Could be wrong on that.
I mean, somebody's looking out.
for him, that's for sure. 88-year-old Pontiff has been in bad health for a while, but it looks
like where we're getting out of Rome is the end is near. But tonight, it's all about President
Trump and Ukraine, and I hope you read my column on, we posted it early over the weekend. If you
haven't, it's on Bill O'Reilly.com. It's free. You don't have to be a member of anything,
but we do a daily message of the day. That's free. You should go in. And
a column every week. I explain what happened because I have the best sources in the White House
in the country. That's it. And I don't think there's any disputing that. Everybody knows that's
true. So what I tell you something, it's what happened. Not this insane stuff you're hearing
on television and radio, which is ridiculous. I'm not going to name any names tonight, but it almost
This makes me angry how irresponsible these so-called journalists are.
They don't know anything.
They have no access, none.
They just make it up, depending on whether they hate or like Trump.
All right, let's get into it.
This is the talking points memo.
It was bad.
Not a good look for the world to see President of the Vice President of the United States
and a world leader.
not respecting each other, that's not good.
And anybody who thinks it was good is an idiot.
Not good.
But something good might come out of it.
Keep that in mind.
So there was a problem with Zelensky not understanding who Donald Trump is.
That was the problem.
To mitigate that problem, 11 U.S. Senators met with Zelensky just hours before he was to appear
in the Oval Office to sign the Mineral Deal.
They met at the Hay Adams Hotel.
I was aware of that meeting, even though I wasn't on the air on Friday.
In the meeting, which all the senators, all 11 of them, said it was a friendly, good meeting,
Zelensky was told gently to be humble, because that's what President Trump expected.
And that's absolutely true.
The best advice Zelensky got was go in there humble.
Zelensky did not take that advice.
Okay, that's where you start.
The contention was that Zelensky wanted assurances from the United States
that if he signed the mineral agreement and Putin violated a ceasefire or up the ante about missiles and drones,
that the United States would guarantee Ukraine's defense.
Trump was never going to do that.
That was not part of the deal.
The deal was, if you sign this,
the United States will have a dog in the hunt
because our structure will have to come in to Ukraine
to harvest those minerals,
making it much harder for Putin to misbehave.
hey, that was what Trump thought he was getting.
Now, with Trump in that meeting were Vice President Vance,
who from the very beginning did not want to be much associated with Ukraine.
Trump is much more accommodating,
because Trump understands how evil Putin is, even if he placates.
I'll get to that in a moment.
But Vance, no.
Vance is to the right of Trump on this.
And then there was Marco Rubio, Secretary of State,
and a whole bunch of other.
Now, Rubio has no power at all in that kind of a meeting.
None.
It's to sit there because he works at Trump.
Okay.
So when they get in there,
Trump immediately doesn't like the fact
that Zelensky didn't wear a jacket.
I don't care about that,
Zelensky says he doesn't get dressed up in solidarity with his soldiers.
This is what the soldiers wear.
This is what I wear.
Okay.
It's small ball.
But Trump gave him a little needle on it.
And Trump does that.
And then they start to talk about the deal.
And Zelensky, I got to tell you, I watch that tape a number of times.
He comes off as entitled.
He comes off with an attitude to chip on his shoulder.
He does.
And, whoa, and that opened it up for Vance to come in and do this.
Go.
I think it's disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media.
Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems.
You should be thanking the president for trying to bring it into this conflict.
Okay, and that that's not an outlandish statement by Vance, but I wouldn't have done it.
because Vance knew by scolding Zelensky, it goes out all over the world.
And I would have done that privately myself, if I were J.D. Vance.
But that blew it up.
And then Trump piled on Zelensky and Zelensky got booted out.
Now the conspiracy people go, oh, this is all planned.
You don't have, okay, a lunch for, I think it with 10 people,
prepared to be put on a table
if you know you're going to blow up a meeting.
All right, that's just stupid.
And there was no benefit for Trump and Vance
to blow the meeting up without cause.
But Zelensky gave him cause
because he came in arrogant.
And he did.
Now, I have sympathy for Zelensky.
His country has been absolutely battered
by it, one of the most evil men to ever exist.
And when you read my book confronting evil,
you'll see how evil bad Vlad is, okay?
It's not even close.
But I also understand that Trump wants this to stop,
because we've already kicked in
$200 billion American taxpayer dollars.
And there's no end in sight.
And if Zelensky's got to give a little bit of land
or whatever, that's what Trump expects him to do.
But Trump was giving him protection by this mineral deal.
And Zelensky apparently is not smart enough to understand that.
And the final thing is, Zelensky can't beat Russia.
So Zelensky's humiliated.
The, hey, Trump crew goes to town.
The world doesn't like Trump because it's never portrayed the way I'm portraying it.
Never.
Okay.
So let's give us back to Europe.
This is a good thing.
And the Europeans go, no, we're with you.
Good.
Good.
Step up further.
So we don't have to pay so much more than it.
Do you realize that France has thrown in less than $10 billion?
And we're at $200 billion?
Come on.
And Macron's running around?
Jeez.
So that could be good.
But if the whole European Union rallies to Ukraine's defense, and Putin's got more of a problem then.
I don't expect Trump to bail, by the way.
I'd be very surprised if he did, because that would be not a good geopolitical move.
Okay.
So going forward, which is the most important thing now, I think a deal is going to happen.
All right, is when Trump, if you follow his history, if you read the United States of Trump,
a lot of times this happens.
The deal seems like it's going to never happen, and then all of a sudden, it happens.
So I expect that mineral deal, number one, to come back.
And then I expect Putin and Trump, and maybe some European leaders, Britain and France,
maybe, you know, to forge out a ceasefire.
but Trump's never going to sign any kind of hey if Putin does X then the United States is going
to throw troops and he's never going to do that and of course Zelensky would want that if you
were Zelensky he'd want it right but you don't do what Zelensky do you don't strut in there
you don't that was huge mistake on his part and that's a memo
O'Reilly here, under President Biden, we saw the American dream slip away for many because of
record spending, open borders, policies that ignited inflation. But that's all changing. President
Trump has laid out a vision to restore American prosperity, and I want you to consider what we
have in this vision. So please join me an investment expert, Alexander Green, for a special

to the point of view on this. So I asked my producers who are really good. I said, give me a guy
who really knows a turf, all right, and knows Zelensky. So there's a former ambassador,
American ambassador, to Bermuda, talk about a good job, appointed by Bush the Younger,
named Gregory Slateon, who's written a brand new book, Portraits of Ukraine, a Nation at War.
Now, the proceeds of this book are going to Ukrainian charities to help the hundreds of thousands
of Ukrainians who've been hurt by Vladimir Putin for no reason.
And so this book is A, number one, worthy of your attention.
And B, Gregory Slayton joins us now from Dallas, Texas.
So you actually met with Zelensky.
When did you meet with him?
Well, thanks, Bill. First of all, it's great to see you again. Great to be on your show.
Sure. And I agree 100% with your assessment. I was in Kiev last Monday at the invitation
of President Zelensky and his team to mark the third anniversary of the brutal and unprovoked
Russian invasion. That was difficult, but I was glad to be there. And it was also the official
launch date for the book. And I appreciate your mentioning the book because, yes, all proceeds do go
to good Ukrainian charities.
I was also at the White House, just on, I was in D.C. on Friday for that meeting, which, as you
described, was a disaster. And yes, there were mistakes on both sides, but President Zelensky
was properly briefed, and for whatever reason, decided not to listen to 11 U.S. senators
who know far better than he does how to work with President Trump.
Let me stop you right there.

I'm glad that you have affirmed what I said, number one, because I had no idea you were going to do that.
Because you didn't know what I was going to say.
No, I did not.
Okay.
Based upon what you and I both know to be true, I think Zelensky is immature.
I don't think he's got a lot of impulse control.
Would that be fair?
Well, I don't ever want to criticize somebody without being in his shoes.
You know, Abraham Lincoln was exhausted by the Civil War.
Zelensky's lost in three years, hundreds of thousands of troops, and literally millions of civilians have been either killed, wounded, or dislocated from their homes, their villages.
I mean, it's a brutal, brutal battle.
Did he make a huge mistake at the White House?
No doubt about it.
Is he a little impulsive?
Yeah, I would say so.
But I think also we got to have a little bit of sympathy for the guy because, you know, I can't even.
And I think that's a good point.
And I do have sympathy for him.
He is traumatized.
But he knows the only pathway to stop this madness
is for Putin to get something out of it.
Putin's never going to stop or walk away unless he looks like a winner.
Trump knows that.
Trump's got to give Putin something,
which is why Trump is in bashing Putin, you know, between the eyes.
Because if he does that, it's never going to stop.
Because Putin doesn't care about his own people.
He doesn't care.
But he needs to get out because the Russian people themselves are getting restive.
Word of the day, rested.
Got a million Russian casualties.
Putin knows he's got to stop.
But he's not going to stop unless he can save face, can walk away.
And that's what Trump's trying to do.
Am I right of my assessment there?
I think you are 100% correct, Bill.
And the Russian economy is even much worse shaped than most Western assessments indicate.
But remember, Putin doesn't care about that.
He doesn't care about the Russian economy.
No, I got to disagree with you.
Just slightly there, Bill.
He doesn't care about the people from the Stans and North Korean soldiers.
He doesn't care for anything about them.
But the economy owned by the oligarchs who basically own all these things on Putin's behalf.
That's why Putin is the richest man in the world.
Yes, he is.
Western intelligence services.
And when you've got your entire hospitality industry, your entire coal mining industry, many of the non-military industries cannot pay the 25% interest rates that are common, if you can get a loan at all, and you can't find employees.
Literally the Russian economy is six months, 12 months from a very, very bad reckoning.
It's a legitimate point, but if you understand Putin, he will go over the cliff if you don't give him a winning persona, I think.
All right?
He's not going to pull it back.
But Trump knows that.
Trump is giving him a pathway out.
But Zelensky is way over his head.
He had no blank and clue.
Last work.
No, I completely agree with that.
I think that we as Americans have to remember that, you know, we are the light of democracy
and freedom in this world.
That's why, yes, President Zelensky was out of line.
He did not behave himself as he should have, but we still need to be the light and the beacon
because let me tell you, there's a lot of wannabe Putin's and want to be Xi Jinping's
who are, you know, right now thinking, why do I have to bother with elections and
and a judiciary and stuff.
Let's just make myself the leader, right?
And be the leader for the rest of my life.
That we always must stand against.
Look, the geopolitical landscape is very, very tough.
And as I said, are you as I think they're still going to make a deal?
You concur?
I agree.
I agree 100%.
Zelensky's already said, he said publicly, I want to sign the deal.
So be a culprit.
I hope it happens. I said prayers at mass yesterday that it would. I don't want to see any more
suffering over there on a part of the Ukrainian people at all. So the book is Portraits of Ukraine,
National War, and get on Amazon. And remember, the purchase price is going to help suffering people.
Mr. Ambassador, thanks very much. I hope you'll come back and I hope things evolve the way you
and I see it. Thank you very much. All right, so Donald Trump is addressed tomorrow night.
don't, tomorrow I'll have something for you. But it looks at me, he's got to go to Ukraine, right?
And he's got to do Doge, and he's got to do the economy, the high prices. So we know those three.
It's not state of the union, by the way, because he just got elected. It's like, okay, here I am,
I'm Donald Trump. I'm giving you an assessment of what I'm going to do or try to do in the
House chamber. And we wouldn't have Nancy Pelosi ripping up anything behind him. And I hope he
is disciplined in his remarks, President Trump tomorrow. Obviously, we're going to be all over
this. So stay with us. Democrat response is going to be by Senator Alessa Slotkin from Michigan.
Don't know her. It's supposed to be a moderate. We'll see. Media madness. So here's a very
interesting story. A few years ago, NBC News reported anonymous sources, which you know how I feel
about them, that in a 22 phone call between President Biden and Zelensky, Biden yelled
at Zelenskyy. All right, this is NBC News reporting this from anonymous sources.
Quote, Biden had barely finished telling Zelensky he had greenlighted another billion in U.S.
military assesses for Ukraine when Zelensky started listing all the additional help he needed
and wasn't getting. Biden lost his temper. People familiar with the call said,
American people were being quite generous and his administration of U.S. military working hard
to help Ukraine, he said, raising his voice, and Zelensky should show a little more gratitude,
unquote. Now, do I think that is true? I do. I think it is true. I think it is true.
Because Zolensky is immature.
Not good.
Let's go to Disney, ABC.
My pal Joy Behar.
Now, that show is live.
I think it's 11 o'clock Eastern time every day.
In the booth, the booth is where the director, the producer,
all the tech people sit.
My booth is in Manhattan right now, okay?
So all my tech people are there.
And then my editorial people are all over the country.
I'm on Long Island.
We can do that because of the high-tech giznos.
But the view is in New York City, Manhattan.
So in the booth, during the view,
there is an attorney that works for ABC News.
Because those women on the view,
in the past have been so irresponsible.
So on Friday, Joy Behar, Thursday, Thursday, February 27th, Joy Behar says this about Elon Musk.
Go.
The guy was not born in this country who was born under apartheid in South Africa, so has that
mentality going on.
He was pro-apartheid, as I understand it.
Then they took a commercial break.
And then they came back from the commercial and Behar said this, go.
Now I'm getting some flak because I said that Musk was pro-apartheid.
I don't really know for sure if he was.
He grew up at that time when apartheid was in full bloom.

Now, I have to get out of her, Disney, ABC News.
It'll be a retirement thing.
She's in her 80s, I think, aren't you?
Anyway, can you imagine they have an attorney having to have sit there
And in the commercial, the attorney calls down and says, you better correct that right now.
I don't know if anybody else has got that going on.
Okay, we'll find out.
I was in Boston over the weekend and watched the Celtics lose on Friday to Cleveland.
Celtics are good, but Cleveland was faster and better.
Anyway, Boston, one of my favorite places in the world, many of you know.
I worked local news there and I went to Boston University and Harvard and my mother went to Boston University and we have long, long times.
Love that setting.
It's a little depressing.
It's run by a far left mayor, Michelle Wu, W.U.
And graffiti all over the place in Boston.
And these are historic buildings.
These are, you know, Boston's a beautiful architecturally.
design city and he's garbage, there's graffiti, drug addicts walking around, you know, it's not good.
But it's the same situation in New York City. It's worse in New York City. San Francisco,
Chicago, every place that's governed by a far left politician has fallen apart. Now, they had a
shooting while I was up there at a chick-fil-a. Some guy came in with a knife and was threatening
the people and an off-duty police officer shot him dead. Here's what Mayor Wu said. Go.
My condolences and all of our thoughts are with the family of the individual whose life has been
lost. And I'm also thinking of all the people who were impacted here today in one of the
busier parts of the city with this tragedy. I'm glad that the officer is safe and very grateful
for a quick response from all of our first responders here. You can decide about that.
but to headline with, well, feel bad for the family of the knife-wielding guy.
It's not that that's wrong, but that's not the headline.
Now, Woos got to go to Washington on Wednesday to appear before the House Oversight Committee,
that's Comer, to talk about them not cooperating with Homeland Security.
So Adams will be there in New York City, Brandon Johnson, Chicago, Wu-Boss.
Mike Johnston, another nut in Denver.
And they're going to get grilled.
All right.
We're all over it.
We are all over this.
Smart Life.
So the American Journal of American Medical Association,
JAMA.
It's good.
If you're into that, they're a serious thing.
They did a study on sleep.
Okay, it's published February 27.
Sleep is a big problem for Americans, okay?
And the headline of the study says that 66% of the American public does get enough sleep or too much sleep.
So the optimum for an adult is between seven and nine hours of sleep a night.
And most people don't get that.
Or some people are in a coma and they sleep 14 hours.
No matter what you do, if you're not in the zone of seven to nine hours,
you've got a 30% increased risk of premature death.
And it's true because your body just can't protect you.
It can't.
Your immune system.
So I was approached by a supplement company that does a sleep potion.
and I have credibility with the American people, thank God.
And I don't do commercials very much.
I mean, I do them for the no-spin news and I voiceover stuff,
but I don't, I'm not out front, like the My Pillo guys out front from my pillow, right?
Now, they want me to be out front this crew.
Now, I'm talking to them.
So the product looks to me to be very good.
It might help you.
So my decision is do I do this and spread the word around or do I not?
Because we're very disciplined about what we do in the advertising realm.
You know that.
We don't take betting.
We don't take booze.
We don't take tobacco.
We don't take any of that.
And if it's a questionable product at all, we don't take it.
But I'm thinking about it.
And the reason I'm thinking about it is because I know.
so many people have trouble sleeping and this might help all I'm going to do is say look give
it a shot if I do it I'm not going to say it's guaranteed I'm not doing any of that
because you might want to consider this and I've done my own research on it too I'm not
going to get into that now but this has been a long time process I got to make a decision
for them say in history March 3rd 1845 Florida admitted to the union fascinating fascinating
Okay. So March 3rd, 1845, Congress says Florida's estate, 27th state. The problem is nobody lives there. You can't live there. It's too hot. From May 15th to October 15th, it's an inferno every day in Florida. Okay? There's no like cool breeze coming in. It's hot. And when it's hot, you got bugs and you got all kinds of stuff down there. It's like any tropical plate. There nobody can live there.
By 1850, before the Civil War, there were 87,000 people, they say, I don't know how they figured that out, living in Florida, but 40,000 of the 87,000 were slaves, escaped slaves, slaves that were being held, whatever.
So most people down there were slaves, and they had malaria, yellow fever, all that, but it was a state.
And it wasn't until the mid-1930s that Florida became viable.

Air conditioning.
So in the 1930s, most people couldn't,
you know, as in the Middle of the Depression,
they couldn't afford air conditioning.
You went to the movies.
That's where people went to cool off in the summer
because the theaters were air conditioning.
But then in 1947,
air conditioning started to be affordable.
And that's when Florida blew up.
And then Disney came in in the 1970s.
And now, Florida's the fastest growing state, as you probably know, according to Census Bureau.
No state income tax.
They're out of your way.
They're not on your back.
If you can take the heat, and I taught high school in Florida for two years, I'm Irish.
In Ireland rarely gets over 80 degrees, okay?
When it gets to be 90 and 90% humidity, I say, ah, very hard for me to live in that tropical
heat, but millions of Americans are going, you know what, Florida, Texas, I lived in Texas
for two years of that.
They don't, they're saying, I'll do the air conditioning thing, whatever.
So 180 years ago, Florida became a state.
thought, I treated a bunch of seniors in college to supper on Saturday night. I want to tell
you all about that in a moment. All right, final thought of the day. So on Friday, I drove up to
Boston, and then I told you what happened up there. And then I drove down to Newport, Rhode
Island. If you're really looking for a nice New England town, Newport, I don't know, you
don't get any better than Newport. And my son is graduating from South.
Salvea Regina University in May.
He's on a lacrosse team.
And so I went to the game and Salvei waxed Nichols.
I think it was 13 to 3.
I mean, it was a good win.
And there was some Salve students heckling Nichols.
I put an end to that.
You would have loved it.
Because everybody knows I show up to the game.
They all know me.
And they were heckling nickels.
And Nichols, I felt sorry for them.
It's a college in Massachusetts.
So I said, all right, yeah.
So after the game, I took out my son and some of his lacrosse buddies to a restaurant.
And they have two months to go before they graduate.
And this is a very difficult time.
If you've graduated from college, I remember very vividly when I did.
You know, you're making a big transition into the real world.
And what am I going to do?
Am I going to get a good job?
That kind of thing.
So I'm there and I can see, you know, that there was a little apprehension because I was asking them, you know, what are you going to do at the school?
What are you going to do? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? What are you going to do?
And I said, number one, if I can help you, I will.
I thought I was pretty nice and I reassured them because I will.
And they don't even have to be concierge members.
If they're friends of my son, they come under my protection.
And I help them.
And number two, I said, look, no matter what you do, there's one thing that you have to know
when you go into the real world.
The most important thing is, no matter what happens, no matter where you work, you have
to do the right thing.
And then I pointed to a movie called American Gangster with Denzel Washington and Russell Crow.
Go talking to my lawyers. They said something to me. I can't believe it. Did you really find a million dollars in the trunk of a car and then turn it in? Did you do that? You did that for real, huh? My man, for you. You know Johnny Law got it though, right? Maybe. I know maybe about it, Mr. Richard. You know he got it. You turned that money in, he took it, and you ain't get nothing for it, did you? Why you do that?
That's true. That's a good answer. It was the right thing to do.
It's the right thing to do.
So how do you know the right thing?
If you are a good person, you'll know.
The problem is it's hard. That's what the point of that scene was. Ridley Scott directed, that movie, brilliant movie, American gangster.
Ridley's got directed. He put that scene in that.
in there for a reason okay so you know these kids are going to know because they're all good
kids they're going to know what the right thing is to do but it's so hard because the right thing to
do many times hurts you for me in my my life no doubt about it i could have made my life a lot
easier just sailing along. I wouldn't do it. I'm not being self-righteous here because I made
tons of mistakes. I mean, we're all sinners. But if you develop that philosophy and you tell
us to your kids and grandkids, no matter what you're doing, when issues come up, you've got to do
the right thing. Looking away is it the right thing, by the way. Evil people will do the wrong
thing consistently. Putin will always do the wrong thing. Good people have to strive, be strong enough
to do the right thing. Anyway, I got their attention with that. Not easy to do, but I got the
attention. I used that movie. Anyway, thank you for watching and listening to the no-spin news.
Tomorrow, Big Trump speech, we're on it. We'll see you then.
