Starting point is 00:00:32 it's artistry a master painter carefully applying Benjamin Moore Regal select eggshell with deftly executed strokes the roller lightly cradled in his hands applying just the right amount of paint it's like hearing poetry in motion
Starting point is 00:00:53 Benjamin Moore see the love Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, stand up for your country. Exceedingly busy day today. If you could follow me around, you'd be exhausted. Just about follow me around. This is our last broadcast this week.
Starting point is 00:01:26 It's Holy Week Passover, giving my staff off. They deserve it. They work very hard. Now, stock market's crazy again today. Again, I reiterate, I'm not doing anything. All right, it's up down. It's annoying beyond belief. But to sell on the down, and I, you know, I think it will sort itself out in the next month or so.
Starting point is 00:01:54 I could be wrong, but that's what I'm doing. Now, if something happens holy Thursday tomorrow, good Friday, or over the weekend, I will tweet. If you're not on my tweet band, it's at Bill O'Reilly. You can't get any easier than that, at Bill O'Reilly. I will tweet, all right? But it's got to be fairly significant. That impacts you. But I'm always, you know, paying attention, put it that way.
Starting point is 00:02:22 even though when i'm off i'm not in some opium den someplace you know i'm i'm doing stuff but i'm paying attention um and uh i wish you all uh very calm that's the best word okay holy week pass overseas talking boy's memo is about uh political madness which is not being covered by the corrupt national media. So now the Congress is on a break. So the senators and the representatives go back to their districts. And many of them hold town hall meetings where you get to meet them, ask them questions. Okay. So going on since the Civil War. All right, people have the meeting, they go in, locals express their concerns to their elected representatives. The way it was designed to be by the founding fathers. Well, now it's being corrupted. I'll give you the best
Starting point is 00:03:26 example I can possibly give you. So Senator Chuck Grassley is 91 years old, a senator from Iowa, a senior senator, okay? It's a good guy. I've known him for years. He has a town hall meeting in Lee County, Iowa. A place, rural place, right? And he goes in, and this is what happens. Go. So with law. I would welcome refugees and I would welcome people to decide them. And you're going to bring that guy back from El Salvador? Yeah. Are you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:03 Yeah. Why not? Well, because that's not a, that's not a power of Congress. Supreme Court said to bring them back. The President has it. He's defunded the Constitution. You're on the Juniors. Do you hear a committee?
Starting point is 00:04:20 Trump don't care. If I get an order, pay a ticket for $1,200, and I just say no, does that stand up? Because he's got an order from the Supreme Court, and he just said no. Yeah, yeah, screw it. I'll be able to answer your question. You ignore my letter. One of my life is the main to. Or else over the order for an independent country.
Starting point is 00:04:46 The president of the last. We can't hear you. The president of that country is not subject to our U.S. Supreme Court. All right, those people didn't want to hear what Grassley had to say. They were all activists. They were organized. That wasn't organic. That wasn't the regular folks coming out.
Starting point is 00:05:08 All right. So we investigated. That was organized by the Lee County Democratic machine. All right. They seated that audience with all these activists. activists who were going to yell at Grassley. Now, media didn't report that. I don't even think the local media reported in Iowa.
Starting point is 00:05:28 It was all of everybody. No, not everybody's mad. The Democratic activists, the far left people are mad. And Grassley walks right into it. He's 91. For me, I would have cleared the room. Now, this has happening all over the country, as I said. In Georgia, Marjorie Teller Green, the congresswoman up there, had a town hall and Ackworth, and the police had to be called.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Go. Okay, so again, they were Piped in there, they were piped in there to attack Marjorie Taylor Green, which they did, all right? This isn't democracy, because the people in Ackworth and in Iowa, the regular folks, they had questions to ask, but they're disrupted to the fact that they can't even get the town hall underway. Again, we looked for Georgia coverage of this. No, we had to do it. We had to do it. Nobody in Atlanta doing it. Oh, boy, that's the corruption that we're dealing with here.
Starting point is 00:07:16 kicker on the Georgia thing. They were bailed out the three that were arrested by the Cobb County Democratic Committee bailed them out. Now, if Republicans had done that, it would have been fascist, Nazis, races, you know, but the Democrats can get away with it because the press won't cover it. So, so terrible. All right. So, just to reiterate this happening all over the place if it happens in your town or your area your county let me know okay um because we're going to follow this and that's a democratic uh party at this point right now and that's a memo all right blood feud alert blood feud alert donald trump versus new york attorney general letitia james as you know miss james was
Starting point is 00:08:10 very uh instrumental in prosecuting mr trump for state crimes in New York that, in my opinion, and I think most people agree with me, were trumped up, pardon the pun. All right. And she had one case where his business operation did something that nobody could understand where there were no victims, and James was behind us. Okay. So now Donald Trump is president. And guess who's under investigation for mortgage fraud? Flying first class with Alaska Airlines isn't just about getting there It's about enjoying the journey Stretch out with industry leading legroom
Starting point is 00:08:52 Sink into an adjustable headrest And cozy up with a custom filsen blanket on long flights Savor hot fresh meals never frozen And sip on our custom stump town coffee Brewed to taste great at 30,000 feet Upgrade your next trip Book now at Alaskaair.com Are you ready to dare for your mind
Starting point is 00:09:13 This summer, melt away your dairy-free expectations with so-delicious dairy-free frozen desserts. Enjoy mind-blowing flavors like salted caramel, cluster, chocolate cookies and cream, cookie dough, and more. For over 35 years, So Delicious has been cranking up the flavor with show-stopping products that are 100% dairy-free, certified vegan by vegan action, and are so unbelievably creamy, your taste buds will do a double-take. Dairy-free your mind. Visit so-dilicious dairy-free.com. That would be Letitia James. Fascinating case. So a guy named William Pulte is the director of the United States Federal Housing Finance Agency.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Okay. And he has sent a referral to the Attorney General of the United States, Pam Bondi, all right, that the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, may have committed fraud in purchasing a house in Virginia. Basically, the case outlines this way. If you tell the Commonwealth of Virginia the house you're buying is your primary residence, you can get a lower mortgage rate. Apparently, allegedly, that's what Ms. James did when she bought a house in Virginia.
Starting point is 00:10:29 But it's not her primary residence because she's the Attorney General of New York. So now the Justice Department may file charges against her. fascinating story but this is really whoa so uh no charges yet i expect there will be against miss james now she today announces that she's investigating donald trump the president for inside of trading over the tariff stuff. You see where this is going? All right. Revenge versus retribution. We did that earlier this week.
Starting point is 00:11:16 You make the call on it. But boy, it's getting unbelievably nasty. California is suing Donald Trump on tariffs. This is Governor Gavin Newsom. It says that, hey, President Trump's on Lawful tariffs are wreaking chaos in California families, businesses, and our economy, driving up prices-threatening jobs. So we're suing. They'll lose.
Starting point is 00:11:47 California can't win. Number one, doesn't have jurisdiction in tariffs. It's a federal thing. And number two, unlawful, Trump could do this. Nobody, I don't think there's anybody in the country had said the president can't control the tariff situation. come on but they're just doing Gavin Newsom's doing it for political reasons wasting tens of thousands probably hundreds of thousands if they continue with this of California tax money not going to win all right but again nasty nasty nasty
Starting point is 00:12:21 um judge Boseberg James Boseberg now this is the guy in DC is a federal judge who said that the plane full of the criminal migrants going to El Salvador from Texas had to turn around and come back. And the Trump administration ignored that. So Bosberg now says that he has probable cause that Donald Trump is in contempt. Okay? He's in contempt. Again, this is a loser. Okay? Boasburg isn't going to win it. Boasburg is a liberal judge. Now, there is a study by the Hill newsletter. You can get that online that says there are 200 lawsuits currently in play against the Trump administration.
Starting point is 00:13:18 72% of them have been assigned to judges appointed by Democratic presidents. All right? 69, Biden, 66, Obama. Clinton, 26. Okay, 72% of all the lawsuits against the Trump administration are being heard by judges appointed by Democrats. And then they cite the Hillside District Columbia as the most, 107, Massachusetts, Maryland, Washington State, California, New York, 177, 177 out of 200 are in liberal states. Now, the Supreme Court has already sent a message that this is not going to stand, but they're going to have to rule on this. Because what the intent is, so you know, is for the Democratic, the Democratic Party, I am putting this in the party, to create so much chaos that Trump can't govern.
Starting point is 00:14:22 That's what the plan is. them every time he turns around. But the Trump administration is very litigious as well. They are now suing, the president is suing the state of Maine for failing to enforce Title IX about gender where transgender men are competing against girls and women in sports, high school, and college. So this is a lawsuit filed against the state of Maine by the Trump administration. It's just filed today. This is going to cost Maine hundreds to thousands, maybe millions. Maine, they're not a lot of money. They're already losing money from the federal government. So Trump administration is making an example of Maine. Now, how will this go?
Starting point is 00:15:11 Well, it's an executive order saying DEI has got to stop, and the Attorney General of Maine says she's not going to stop it. That's pretty straightforward. forward, the states define the federal government at the order of the governor of Maine, Janet Mills. So it's going to be in federal court. Federal court has to rule against Maine, right? Because federal law trumps state law. Back to Gavin Newsom, Governor California, very busy, very, very, very busy. He's out of money for MediCal. MediCal is Medicaid. Okay? So they're out of money. Ran out of money, even though they tax you Californians up to here. Not any money.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Why don't they have any money? Because, listen to this, illegal migrants are expected to receive this year alone $10 billion in health care costs from the state of California. So in addition, I think there's 53 million California's largest state. 10 million undocumented's getting their health care pay for. So they're out of money in Medi-Cal. So what Newsom is doing, he's taking $3 billion from another part of the California budget already running record deficits out there.
Starting point is 00:16:44 And he's putting it into Medi-Cal because they're broke because they're paying so many bills for the undocumented. Now, this is what you hear when, Bernie Sanders says Republicans want to cut Medicaid. So the Republican Party wants to pass legislation and says, if you're undocumented, you're not going to get Medicaid, Medi-Cal, whatever it's called. You don't get it. You're not entitled to get it.
Starting point is 00:17:12 That's legitimate. Let Congress vote on it. But Sanders goes, oh, no, they want to cut everybody's Medicaid. It's not true. you see you know i spent 16 minutes now we're 16 minutes into this broadcast all right giving you one corrupt thing after the other in this country and it i'm saying to myself this has got to stop but the only way it's going to stop is for the courts to intervene but california boy okay now to president Biden he's
Starting point is 00:17:51 back. So he goes to Chicago to give a speech in front of advocates, counselors, and representatives for the disabled. That's a great cause. Okay? Anything helping disabled people is excellent. Sit to Sofitel Hotel in Chicago. Very safe venue. Very safe for Mr. Biden. This episode is brought to you by San Pellegrino Chau. So he gets up there and he meanders around and then he gets down to what he really wanted to talk about. Fewer than 100 days, this new administration has made so much, done so much damage and so much destruction. It's kind of breathtaking if it could happen that soon.
Starting point is 00:19:34 They've taken a hatching to the Social Security Administration, pushing additional 7,000 employees, 7,000 out the door in that time, including the most seasoned career officials. Now they're getting ready to push thousands more off the door. Already we can see the effects. All right, so we fact-checked them. The Trump administration wants to cut the Social Security Administration workforce from 57,000 to 50,000. They are offering buyouts, early retirements, all of that,
Starting point is 00:20:14 and they are cutting some jobs. me, if you have a $56 trillion debt, $36 trillion, you got a cut. So this doesn't seem unreasonable to cut $7,000 out of a workforce of $57,000. Does it seem unreasonable to you to do that? Not to me, but would Biden and Sanders and all down, he grabs, oh, they're going to cut your social security. See? See what they do? So I knew that Biden was going to do that. Nobody, I didn't even see any coverage of Biden. I mean, they're kind of, Democrats are embarrassed by him now, but I thought you want to know. Tariff latest. So I am involved with this to some extent, as far as people asking my opinion.
Starting point is 00:21:12 very high levels, and I give my opinion, all right, that I want this to calm down, this tariff stuff. I understand that the United States should stick up for itself worldwide economics. We're doing the right thing. How we're doing it needs to be reexamined, because we don't want to hurt our own. And the stock market, as I pointed at the top of the program, gyrating wildly every day is not good. Okay. So Italian Prime Minister, Georgia Maloney, comes to the United States tomorrow. She's a friend of Trump, a sympathizer with Trump. Okay. But Italy doesn't pay its dues to NATO. They're way underpaid. And they're tariffs at 21%. Now, I think Maloney is going to give President Trump what he wants.
Starting point is 00:22:20 I think, I can't guarantee it. At the same time, I believe that Japan and the USA are very close to a deal on tariffs as well. And it's tough, tough market, they don't want to take a lot of American stuff over there. So I know for a fact that President Trump believes he's going to get these two deals done quickly and then others will follow. That's what the President believes. So you know.
Starting point is 00:22:59 Something I found out this morning, I don't use anonymous sources, but I can't burn my sources. not going to. I'm just going to tell you this I found out. You can believe me or not. It doesn't really matter to me whether you believe me, by the way. I know that sounds a little harsh, but I don't mean it to. But when I tell you anything on this broadcast, I always say, I know this for sure, this is the truth, or I'm not sure, or I could be wrong. I always bring context to it. This I know happened. China called the White House this morning. I don't know who in China. Might have been somebody would take out. I don't know, but I know that call came in. And that's a good thing. But I don't know any more about it. I will. This is so hard.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I like what I do, but it's so hard to get this information because I can't report it to you unless I believe it's valid. Unlike 98% of all the other journalists in the country who just throw stuff out, they don't know whether it's true or not, I won't do that. I don't want to mislead you, which is why we don't have to apologize here very much at all for anything. Harvard. So on Hannity today, it was pretty funny. Another blood feud, by the way, between Harvard and the Trump administration. So I have offered myself as a mediator in this blood feud because I attended Harvard, I know a lot of people up there, and I know the Trump administration. I think I could do dayton. But Hannity goes, we don't want deaton because Hannity's a conservative guy. I mean, he goes, we don't want it. That might be true. But I'm going, shouldn't, blessed are the
Starting point is 00:25:12 peacemakers, right? If I can broker some deal between Harvard and the Trump administration, isn't that a worthy thing? Hannity had very, very severe reservations about it's posted on Bill O'Reilly.com. Okay? Very interesting. So, Trump administration freezes $2.2 billion. We reported that yesterday. Now they may go after, the president might go after, tax exempt. I'll tell you, Harvey, we're not going to give you a tax exemption. Okay, you got to pay tax on everything you do, including your endowment. It's unbelievable how much tax Harvard would have to pay. And the reason is, because we believe you are not, okay, enforcing. federal law when it comes to protecting Jewish students. And you're indoctrinating your students
Starting point is 00:26:03 with a whole bunch of radical leftists on your faculty, and you won't stop doing that. So there are a myriad of federal regulations that Harvard is violating, according to the Trump administration. And they can back it up. I mean, Bill de Blasio, the worst mayor of New York City ever, a Democrat. He got hired by Harvard. Laurie Lightfoot, the worst mayor in Chicago history, got hired by Harvard, and they get paid about 200,000, each of them, to go off there and do nothing, to spout gibberish. Now, have you heard of any Republican governors being hired? No. Or mayors?
Starting point is 00:26:45 No. When I was there at the Kennedy School of Government, it was liberal, but it wasn't activist liberal. What happened was it became very activist liberal. They fired Gay, the president, who is an absolute extremist. A Palestinian sympathizer, hates Israel, on and on and on, and on. This is all my opinion of gay, but I think it's solid. Now, the new guy up there, he's trying to be a little bit more moderate, but he's got a campus, most of these students, are leftists.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Because that's what they wanted. That's the culture they wanted at Harvard. When I was at the Kennedy School, the grad students there, there was across the board. There were a lot of military people in there and a lot of foreign students, you know, the sons and daughters of sultans and this kind of thing. It wasn't crazy left. Now it is. Anyway, this feud, if Harvard loses its tax-exempt status, is going to be pretty intense. So, enter Barack Obama, who is supporting Harvard because he went to Harvard law.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Quote, Harvard has said an example for other higher ed institutions, rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking concrete steps to make sure all students at Harvard can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate, mutual respect, hope the other institutions follow suit, unquote. I don't know, I think that might be a little optimistic by President Obama. I don't think there's a wide acceptance of conservative views at Harvard. And I know what's going on up there in Cambridge. Well, here's how President Trump replied on truth social.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Quote, perhaps Harvard should lose his taxes them status, be taxed as a political entity if it keeps pushing political, ideological, and terrorist-inspired, supporting, Remember, tax-em status is totally contingent on acting in the public interest. Ooh, another feud. Okay. Now, here was a surprise. Analyzing this on MSNBC, Chris Matthews said this. Go.
Starting point is 00:29:12 It's Trump going out to the elites. He knows what he's doing. Politically, it's not going to hurt them. I think these universities have enough money to cover their, their, their, their, they're, legacies. They got a lot of money to handle it. So they're going to be able to take care of themselves. I don't want to be loose about this. But I think Trump's targeting these universities is probably not the worst movie ever made. All right. So the sympathies probably lie. I agree with President Trump. And if you guys want me to get involved, and I'll be happy to do it.
Starting point is 00:29:45 I would like to see Harvard. I don't want to see them punished. As I told Hannity, school does a lot of good, particularly in the medical area. But they got to stop with the leftist ideology up there. I don't know if that's possible. All right, update on the attack on Governor Josh Shapiro's home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The nut who did it, Corey Balmer, 38 years old, Nobel, he'll never get out. Now, he said he wanted to hurt Shapiro because of what Shapiro wants to do to the Palestinian people.
Starting point is 00:30:22 This guy's crazy. I mean, look at him. Okay? So the thing I want to know about is what is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania doing to protect people. How get this guy. Starting point is 00:31:44 This comes out of Neurology, the Medical Journal, of the American Academy of Neurology. Eight drinks a week increase your chance of Alzheimer's brain lesions by 133%. Whoa, just eight drinks a week. Actually, you know, eight drinks a week, that's kind of a lot. So there's a survey of 1,781 people. moderate drinkers 60% greater chance of developing brain lesions so you don't have to be a drunk okay now here is the big stat and remember this is smart life heavy drinkers die an average of 13 years earlier than non-drinkers of you our heavy drinker you know get that cemetery
Starting point is 00:32:41 plot up and running 13 years Now, I never drank, and I get a lot of Irish comments on that, but I don't care. I mean, I'm not, you know, say that about some ethnic groups. I don't care. Irish people traditionally have a pub culture. Vermont's fact. I never drank. But in my family, we've had some people die of cirrhosis of the liver and die from alcohol.
Starting point is 00:33:10 And I think almost every family in a world has it. But I never thought that intoxicants forwarded my life in any way, same thing with drugs, as you know. And I'll tell you what, at my age, my advanced age, the fact that I never drank and never took drugs had really, really helped me, both mentally and physically. Smart life, just using me as the guinea pig. I did a podcast. This is not a podcast, by the way, so everybody, and I know you're all being nice.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Oh, I love your podcast. I don't do a podcast. This is a broadcast. But I did a podcast yesterday, Jillian Michaels, who show you a clip, and I like doing that show. We'll be back within a moment. Okay, for a final thought. For some reason, I'm in demand. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:34:05 I think I'm a boring guy myself, but a lot of people want to talk to me, and I only have a certain amount of time to do. do it between the no spin news and all that stuff we do on Bill O'Reilly.com and all the stuff I write and the books and on and on and on and on. But I make time to do favors for people that I like. And Gillian Michaels is one of them. She is a fitness person who's gone over into the podcast world and interviews people that she finds interesting. And I'm flattered that I fit into that category. So this morning, her latest podcast, keeping it real, dropped, and of course, it was the Trump administration that she wanted to talk to me about.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Go. Look, when I was in a meeting with Donald Trump and some of his advisors on January 2nd of this year, they were railing about Panama, and I looked at the president, and I said, you see that paper in front of him, you write down everything you want from Panama, right now. you give that paper to me I'll go to Panama City and I'll get you everything you want in 48 hours the room was stunned he laughed okay
Starting point is 00:35:22 but he knew what I was saying to him he got everything that he wanted from Panama 100% across the board okay so that gives you one small example we did I thought that we were still negotiating Panama we got what we wanted out of Panama we got everything
Starting point is 00:35:39 everything there Chinese companies are out. Tariffs to put our ships through or down. U.S. troops are there providing security for the canal now. 100% he got. I didn't even know that. You didn't hear about it. No, I thought it was a standstill. Yeah. The press won't know. He got everything. And he got it in record time. And the press won't report it because it's a victory for Trump. Okay. And so there's a lot more in that podcast. And that's absolutely true. And most people don't even know that Panama pretty much gave Donald Trump what Donald Trump asked for. And we got special forces down there now.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Okay, watching the security of the canal. But they're really there to stop illegal drug transportation. That's what they're there. So I think you'll find Gillian Michael's podcast keeping it real interesting. I hope you check it out. It's on YouTube, Spotify, all of those. and we thank Ms. Michaels for taking the time to talk to me. It was a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Okay, so that's it. I think you're up to speed with everything. Again, we will be off tomorrow and Good Friday, and anything that happens and anything could, and this is just such a crazy news cycle now, I will tweet at Bill O'Reilly, and if it's big enough, then I'll come back in with some written analysis, and we'll give you a signal that will come.
