With love from Italy. By San Pellegrino Chau now. Hey Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the No Spin News for Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, stand up for your country. Another day, rock'em sock'em. Boy, every time I turn around, it's something else.
Starting point is 00:01:21 Now, Putin and Trump spoke on the phone. I understand it's the first time in three years that, The bad Vlad picked up the phone from a call emanating from the White House. He spoke to Biden in 2022 right before Putin invaded Ukraine, and that was the end of that. No more relationship. Well, now, as I predicted, and I did, you'll remember, and we'll use the sound by tomorrow when we learn more, they're going to talk about ending this war in Ukraine, and they will get a deal. and it's not I'm not a genius I just know the dynamics so that is very good news for the whole world
Starting point is 00:02:07 and Putin invited Trump to Moscow I don't know whether Trump's going to go there I think they might meet in between maybe Iceland something like that but we'll see I hate that we'll see but when it happens I'll report it okay and this is This is a long way to go with this stuff, but it's in motion. Whereas with Biden, there's no chance. There was no chance ever of a ceasefire in Ukraine or any improvement in Gaza or any improvement with Iran. This is what I mean.
Starting point is 00:02:41 I kept telling you, you hate Trump, okay. But with the other guy, there was just absolutely nothing going to happen. Everything was going to get worse. So thank God the American people came to their senses. All right. Talking points memo is Doge. Now, I'm sorry to laugh, but this is such an outrageous story. Okay, today, government efficiency subcommittee, chaired by conservative congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green.
Starting point is 00:03:17 All right. Republicans all love Doge. Okay, got to cut wasteful spending. got to slim down a government. Democrats know where we? Nope. Now, the Democrats don't go, we want wasteful spending. They can't say that.
Starting point is 00:03:34 But they oppose any kind of oversight at all. And if you want to bring down the federal government, oh, no, we can't let anybody go. Roll the tape. Yes, they work hard. Yes, they play. play by the rules. Yes, they love their country. Yes, they cherish their faith. And yes, they want a fair shot. What we're seeing coming out of Washington is anything but that.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Every time you hear Doge, the Department of Government Efficiency, you just remember, it is the Department of Government evil. Yeah, it's evil. Oh, that's right. We can't cut any jobs. Can't stop any of the out of control spending, we've got to get more debt, 37 trillion is not enough. It's evil to stop that. You think I'm exaggerating? I'm not. The Democratic Party, 100% of it, is behind keeping the status quo, running up trillions of
Starting point is 00:04:43 debt. They don't want any reform. So Trump comes in, and as I said this to Hannity on his radio, which we posted on bill o'reilly dot com if trump did this on purpose okay throughout all of these executive orders and musk and all of that just to drive the democratic party and the hate trump movement insane if he did it on purpose by design he's a genius because that's what's happening Donald Trump is driving his opposition literally crazy because the American people are not ideological, generally speaking.
Starting point is 00:05:26 They don't want what the Wall Street Journal writer called today a slush fund for progressive causes with our tax money. That's insulting to us. I work hard for my money. Do I want it going to the Taliban to buy? condoms? No. Oh, it's evil. No, no oversight. Don't lay off anybody. Insane. Now, they hate Alon Musk because Alon Musk is allied with Trump. They don't know anything about Alon Musk. The guy puts out electric cars. That's good for global warming, right? The left should love him.
Starting point is 00:06:12 We love my lot. He's like, oh, electric cars. Yay. No, no pollutants. Right? No. I hate him. So he shows up in the Oval Office yesterday with Trump for a photo op, and they explain whatever they want to explain. Must says that quite a few people in bureaucracy have actually stolen money. Now, Musk doesn't back it up. Do I doubt that? No. But you've got to prove it. And then, uh must says yeah sometimes i say stuff that isn't true go well first of all uh some of the things that i say will be incorrect and and should be corrected so nobody's going to bet a thousand i mean any you know we're we will make mistakes but we'll act quickly to correct any mistakes um so uh you know if if the i'm not sure we should be sending 50 million dollars with the con
Starting point is 00:07:06 to anywhere uh frankly so that was all about uh must saying that that tax money was sent to Gaza for condoms. That wasn't true. But tax money was sent to Afghanistan for condoms to the Taliban. I guess we don't want little Taliban. I don't know, but I don't want it. I don't want it.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Right? Now Trump himself, again, is benefiting greatly from the media hysteria and the Democratic Party hysteria. Roll it. We're finding tremendous fraud, tremendous abuse. If I need a vote of Congress to find fraud and abuse, it's fine with me. I think we'll get the vote. So, summing all this up, big win for Trump, this Doge stuff. The more the press disparages it, the less credibility the American media will have.
Starting point is 00:08:01 And the more the Democrats oppose it, the less votes they will get in the midterms. The fewer votes. Fewer votes. That's grammatically incorrect. And that is the memo. FEMA. So as you know, President Trump wants to abolish FEMA and allow the states to regulate disaster aid. I'm for that. I'm for that. I mean, federal government can't do this kind of stuff. So FEMA, according to a report by the New York Post, okay, you can be skeptical of it. I don't know if it's true or not. Mismanaged $10 billion during COVID. All right. And then on and on and on and on. Waste money, waste money, can't get the money that folks who need it on and on and on and on. Do I doubt this? I do not. I do not. And I think that the overall number is $65 billion this year
Starting point is 00:08:54 that tax money goes to FEMA. And FEMA doesn't, can't get it to people, don't know where it is, whatever it may be. Knock it out. Let each state, all 50 states, have an agency that responds to disasters within that state, and then the federal government gives the state grants, grant money based on population. Starting point is 00:10:22 That makes sense. I think it does. And I hope Trump does that. All right. New Paul Gallup, popularity poll among five presidents. So here it is. Donald Trump, popular. Do you like him?
Starting point is 00:10:39 48% say, yeah, I like them. 50% say, no, I don't like them. That's about right. 50-50 for Trump. Joe Biden, 39% say they like them. That's not good, Joe. 57% don't like them. Why?
Starting point is 00:10:58 Come back to me. I'll tell you why. He was so bad, it's impossible to like him. He didn't hold it. He didn't explain anything. He screwed up one after the next, after the next, after the next. How can you like him? Okay, I don't know if he's not an evil man.
Starting point is 00:11:22 And, you know, I guess he's got a decent personality, but he's so awful. Next one. Obama, Barack Obama, favorable 59%. And this is his personality, but Obama's got a good personality. Sorry, for you Obama haters, he has a good personality. Unfavorable 36, he wins the popularity contest. Next one, George W. Bush, favorable 52, unfavorable 34. Bush has a very good personality, too.
Starting point is 00:11:55 I know all these guys, okay? Bush is a good personality. He's a regular guy. But the Iraq thing did not work out. And the recession was brutal at the end of Bush's second term. So that frame, but he's still way ahead in the popularity. And finally, Bill Clinton, favorable 48, unfavorable 41, Bill Clinton has a good personality.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Okay? So all of these guys, they're judged basically on how they present themselves. But I think George W. Bush and Joe Biden are the two that because their errors were so big, particularly the Iraq War for Bush, that that is skewed on their popularity. Tulsi Gabbard is in, 5248 vote. Mitch McConnell, the only Republican to vote against Tulsi. And, you know, Mitch is cranky. He's cranky.
Starting point is 00:12:55 I mean, he doesn't have his power anymore. He's old. He's going to be out of there soon. Now, Tulsi Gabbard, what does she do? I have to be honest to say, I don't know what she does. I don't know what the Director of National Intelligence does. I don't know. So do you know who Joe Biden's Director of National Intelligence?
Starting point is 00:13:17 No one knows. The only person who knows is Averill Haynes, because that's who it was. Who's Averill Haynes? Nobody knows. I don't know if Averill's wife knew that he was Director of National Intelligence. How about on Trump's first term? Dan Coates and John Ratcliffe. You know those guys?
Starting point is 00:13:38 You don't know them. This is largely a ceremonial thing. Because the president gets a briefing every morning from the CIA, from the NSA, from the FBI, and it's in a briefing folder. So Tulsi is going to be there, but I don't know what Tulsi does. Media, madness. So a judge yesterday, Matthew Karmizek. uh in new yore no in texas texas amarillo okay says hey uh trump's lawsuit against cbs for 20 billion can proceed so now cbs is going to have to settle Trump's going to get more money for his library
Starting point is 00:14:22 so Trump already got money from ABC for his library and somebody else had to give money for his library you get a lot of money for his library and that's what's going to happen here This is all about 60 minutes, editing an interview with Kamala Harris to make her look better. And as we went over yesterday, and I hope you saw the program yesterday, if you're a concierge, your premium member, you can watch any time. CBS did it. He did it. Okay? And Trump's not going to get $20 billion.
Starting point is 00:14:56 He'll get some settlement. This is a very fascinating story. Brandon Carr, C-A-R, is the head of the Federal Communications Commission, appointed by Donald Trump. So Brandon is going to do what Donald Trump told him to do. And Donald Trump has told him to investigate Comcast NBC. Okay? Because Comcast NBC hates Trump.
Starting point is 00:15:24 That's MSNBC, you know, the drill. I don't have to go over for you. And Trump goes, okay, we're going to investigate you. So why would you investigate them? This is the facet. part. Comcast NBC is a private company. You can sit federal investigators on them, but they had to do something. All right. So this is where they're being investigated. D.E.I. Here is the statement from Mr. Carr. Quote, I expect that this investigation into
Starting point is 00:15:56 Comcast and its NBC Universal Operations will aid the commission's broader efforts to root out invidious forms of DEI discrimination across all the sectors the FCC regulates. Well, what do you mean? FCC is a private company, but no, because Comcast provides infrastructure and communication services to the Depends Department. Did you know that? Comcast gets paid by the federal government. because it does work for the Department of Defense.
Starting point is 00:16:36 That's HECSEF. So now, Invidius, I love that word of the day, because Trump wrote the order, you can't have DEI if you're doing business with the federal government. But now NBC has got to turn over all its documents to the Trump administration. Oh, whoa. Okay, payback time.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Remember the Godfather movie? In the end of the movie, Michael Corleone is the godfather to his sister, Connie's child. Remember this? One of the greatest scenes in cinema history. He's in the church, and their baptism is underway. And then his goons, the Corleone goons, spread out over New York City and assassinate the rival mafia chieftains. and they cut back and forth to the baptism, to the assassinations.
Starting point is 00:17:36 It's unbelievable scene. That's what this is, Trump, is just knocking them down one by one. You want to screw with me for eight years, NBC? Okay, here's what we're going to do. You turn over every corporate document to us. All your hiring, every interview, Incredible, incredible turmoil the President of the United States is putting into these companies. CBS News, ABC News with Stephanopoulos, now NBC News.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Get it? You get the big picture here? Okay. Okay, so there is no question that Donald Trump is taking revenge on the American press. And a lot of people feel it's justified because they try to put him out of business. They tried to take his livelihood away. They try to put him in jail. They try to do everything they could to destroy Mr. Trump's life.
Starting point is 00:18:36 And now he's got this power back and he's going after him. No question about it. What about overseas? How do they see Donald Trump, particularly our strongest ally, Great Britain? So joining us now from London, England, where I live for a year until they deported me, for being obnoxious, is Pierce Morgan. know them. I don't have to go through the resume. But you can check him out on YouTube. His program is called Pierce Morgan uncensored. I don't know if you have ever been censored from the
Starting point is 00:19:09 time you're too, but to reinforce that is good. So number one, you would agree with me that Donald Trump's taking revenge on the American media, correct? Yeah, no question. But I also think that it's been entirely predictable given the way that the mainstream media in America has behaved in such an overtly partisan manner against him for eight years. And I've been criticised them for eight years for doing it, pointing out that it's not the job of the media to take sites. I mean, some of them may be unashamedly, you know, partisan. Fine, then show your colours.
Starting point is 00:19:45 It's the more insidious secret partisan behavior of very liberal-dominated newsrooms working at these supposedly impartial networks who've waged a kind of systematic activist campaign against Trump. And obviously, now he's got the chance. He's going to have some fun with them. But I would tell them to look at themselves very hard in the mirror and say, have we really not brought this on ourselves? I work for CBS News.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I work for ABC News. I mean, I know what the deal is. Now, it's crazy since Trump got into politics. Then all of the barriers left. And it was justified by a New York Times. columnists who said, look, this guy's a danger to the union, so we're not going to have any rules anymore. We're going to try to destroy them.
Starting point is 00:20:35 I'm going to reunying to my family, because we're going to go to Burlington for the event of liquidation candidate. We're going to now right now to find the best of the best in articles of liquidation, from rope, to decoration of the home, and much more. With offers, over-offertas. And once in New York time, with that posture out, then they all followed, and they thought that they had them. They thought that Donald Trump was done. And he rose like Dracula, and now he's going after them. Do you feel that is beneath the president of the United States to wreak that kind of vengeance? Well, I think, look, I think Donald Trump is always going to do what Donald Trump wants to do. And people who've tried to get involved in changing his mind about exacting retribution in this kind of manner, normally discover it's a bit pointless. You know, he's nearly 80 years old. He's a leopard who won't change his spots when it comes
Starting point is 00:22:08 to that kind of thing. If you read his book, The Art of the Deal, then it's all in there. Somebody punches you, punch them 10 times harder back, is his mantra, and always has been for 50 years. So he's not going to change now. You know, I do think it's probably a little bit of a waste of time for the President of the United States, but he's got so many more important things to worry about than going after the media. But what he's really doing, Bill, I think, is he's putting them back in their box.
Starting point is 00:22:32 And he's also, I think, trying to focus their minds on, why don't you just try in this term of office, unlike the first term, being a little bit more fair-minded, having some more conservative voices on your network, actually not making them pariahs, not directing your audience to feel that everything that Donald Trump does is evil personified. Actually, a lot of it might be quite good.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Now, when I was in London for the New York Jet Minnesota Viking game in October, I pay close attention to the media in Great Britain, and a lot of them want to interview me. I just did a big thing in Paris. I am stunned by the lack of knowledge that British journalists have about our system in America. They don't understand how it works. They don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Yeah, I agree. I agree. Listen, I've had the pleasure and honor of working and living in America for 20 years now. So I have a much greater knowledge of, I would say, than 98% of British journalists. And they've been very lazy, particularly, I think, in their treatment of Trump. Just taking a kind of very easy, simplistic narrative that everything he does is awful. And, of course, the Democrats are better people and a better party. And, of course, they're going to keep winning.
Starting point is 00:23:49 And that just hasn't been born. out by events. But the British people buy it. They're looking a bit meek and mild now. The British people are buying up to do exactly what the NBC news is doing here. The BBC does over there, right? Yeah, but I would say the difference now, compared to 2016, for example, or indeed Trump's whole first term, was I would say the vast majority of people in Britain had a pretty negative
Starting point is 00:24:17 view of Trump in his first term. largely by the media from America and everyone taking their lead from that. Right across Britain, from north to south, east to west, there is a massively better, more positive feeling towards Trump from the public, from the people. Not necessarily the media, but because I think they've looked at it. I'll tell you why. Because we have a left-wing socialist government now in this country. Everybody was sick and tired of the conservatives.
Starting point is 00:24:46 They were no good, the conservative governments, for 15 years. years, honestly, a rat bag of very poor, incompetent leaders in the main. And inevitably, they got eventually picked out of office. But what happened next was not like in 97 when Tony Blair came in and did a lot of pretty good things actually and was very, very popular. What happened here was it clearly, very quickly became clear to people that the Labour Party had not had any great plan for improving the country. Their whole stance was going to be the Conservative Party were terrible. They've driven the country into the ground. We're in terrible shape. And by the way, things are going to get worse. And their first actions were to punish financially pensioners and then
Starting point is 00:25:31 to punish financially the farmers. So the lefties are. Hang on. Hang on. This is ridiculous. Right. So the lefties are not succeeding in Great Britain. So by transferal, Trump looks a little bit better across the pond. Would they have it? Yeah. All right. That's it. And they look at him being very decisive and hitting the ground very hard and running with all these executive orders. And they're like, we'd love a bit of that energy and dynamism over here, please. All right. Little action, right? In the House of Commons. Let's get some action going on. All right, peers, we appreciate it very much. Thanks to taking the time. Now, let's go on to the AP. So the Trump administration barred a reporter from the Associated Press going into the Oval Office
Starting point is 00:26:17 yesterday for the event with Musk. Why? Because the Associated Press will not refer to the Gulf of America. It says it's still the Gulf of Mexico. So Trump says, you can't come into the briefing. Britt Hume on Fox excoriated the Trump administration for doing that. This is a violation freedom of press. I see it differently than you. I see it as petty. I wouldn't have done that if I were President Trump. I wouldn't have bar the AP reporter. What I would have done is hold a press conference and explain to the country how corrupt the Associated Press is. I would have just attacked them. You don't need the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America. I don't need that. Say, look, from the jump, the
Starting point is 00:27:16 The Associated Press has not reported on me fairly. And then I would have had five examples. Look at this, look at this, look at this, look at this. And it's true. The AP, which is the wire service that goes out to all the small newspapers all over the country, never given Trump a fair shake, ever, like PBS and NPR. But they're not government funded the AP. That would have been a more effective way to do this than small ball, my opinion.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Mark Fogel. So it's an American who was arrested in Russia three and a half years ago. And he's a history teacher over there. And they catch him with medical marijuana, which had been prescribed in the United States, for back pain. Okay. So Mark Fogle, 63 years old. 59 at the time, brings the medical pot to Moscow with him for his job and they pop them. So evil Vlad puts him on trial and he gets what, 20 years or something, crazy, 14 years
Starting point is 00:28:33 for 17 grams of medical cannabis, 14 years. So this is what he does. If you go to, if you are an American citizen and you go to Russia, I hate to say you deserve what you get, but you deserve what you get. You can't go. This guy is going to, now the reason he does it is because of what happened today. So Trump gets in, he says, listen, Vlad, you got to let this guy out, okay? He's got a 95-year-old mother, Mark Vogel. And Flagg goes, all right, but you got to let out some big thug. Vinik is his name. And this guy's a bad hombre, this Russian guy. So they make a prisoner swap. Alexander Vinick. What Vinick did was laundered money for all the drug dealers all over
Starting point is 00:29:20 the world and the arms dealers in cryptocurrency and also the vice. Vinick's a real criminal. So anyway, a Vogel goes to the Oval Office and I'm glad he's out. He gives Trump credit. And why didn't Biden get him out? Why? Why didn't Biden get him out? Crickets. I don't know. Smart life. Interesting story. So there are, since 2000, the year 2000, there have been a number of fatalities in America because of animals. Animals have killed people. But in the animal category, you have bugs too. Wasts and bees and all of that. Here are the top five states that have the most animal fatalities. qualities. Texas, California, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee. Okay? So Texas has 79 deadly dog bites and an astonishing 207 fatal attacks by other mammals. You set the table, put on a playlist, even made the lasagna from scratch. And now you're wearing it. OxyClean Maxforce spray tackles tough, set in stains the first time. Adulting is hard. Fighting stains shouldn't be.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Oxyclean Maxforce. It's not clean. Unless it's oxyclean. Your local Benjamin Moore retailer is more than a paint expert. There's someone with paint in their soul. A six cents honed over decades. And if you have a question about paint, it's almost as if they can read your mind. I sense you need a two-inch angle brush
Starting point is 00:31:02 for the trim in your family room. Regal selected an eggshell finish and directions to the post office. Benjamin Moore paint is only sold at locally owned stores. Benjamin Moore, see the love. California is 74 and whatever. And bee stings, and, you know, if you're allergic to that, you could die. Snake bites.
Starting point is 00:31:24 I always run to the snake bite thing. So Texas had 16 snake bite fatalities in 24 years. California 15, Georgia 14. So if you're in the woods or, you know, in the south, in the swamps, watch out. and marine fatalities are sharks Florida 11 Hawaii 7 now smart life why is this in the smart life segment because of dogs I have the cutest dog in a world and I'll I'll show you her in a moment on another matter but a lot of people come up to Holly the Tara dog and want to pet Holly or whatever and I let them because Holly is a nice
Starting point is 00:32:12 dog. You're not going to bite them. It's not going to do anything. Some of the people ask me, is it okay? But some of them kind of just lean in. Don't ever do that. You never know who the dog, what the dog's disposition is. Very cautious around dogs. Very cautious. Okay? And if you want to pet a dog or you want to, you know, whatever, you've got to ask the owner of the dog, okay, what's going on? And dogs can get very frightened and startled. So dog bites are the big thing in this country. There are millions of dogs.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Now, if you see a dog run around unattended and you try to get that dog, you're crazy. You've got to stay away. You can't do that. And we got raccoons around here on Long Island. You've got to stay away from other things. Like, I can't, you know, don't, you call on a raccoon. That's not going to be good. smart life very cautious around animals all right save yourself a lot of grief expats i told you
