Welcome to the No Spin News Monday, October 28, 2004, stand up for your country.
I'll be happy when this election cycle is over, okay?
I bet a lot of you will be too.
It's hard work for us here.
But it's also draining.
I had to sit and watch a lot of that rally at Madison Square go yesterday.
And it was a good move by Trump, helped him.
But some of the speakers before him, oh, that was painful.
That was just painful.
Trump himself, hour and 15 minutes, you know, he could always tighten it,
but he feels a responsibility to people who have waited for hours and hours.
hours and hours to entertain them as well as politic.
And that's why he does what he does.
Anyway, there are lots of political action over the weekend, both campaigns sprinting to
the finish line.
That is the subject of this evening's talking points memo.
So Kamala Harris in Houston, Big Rally Friday at the Shell Energy Stadium, 30,000, beyond
say. I think that drew a lot of people in there, was there. And successful for Kamala Harris.
You know, some Democrats think they might even take Texas. I don't think so. Ladies Paul
has Trump up by 10. And Ted Cruz, you know, he's locked in a pretty tight race there. So can't take
Texas for granted but anyway Kamala Harris goes there and her main campaign theme is
abortion she is literally the queen of abortion anytime for any reason any place
no restrictions because it's all about what a woman can do with her body
government has no right tell a woman what she can do with her body and I of course
a logical thinker go, I think there's another body involved here? Am I wrong on that?
But that other body, the unborn child, never spoken about, ever. It's just an oppressive
government trying to keep women down in Kamala Harris's point of view. All right, she's entitled
to that point of view. Here's what she said in Houston. Go.
Let us be clear, if Donald Trump wins again, he will ban abortion nationwide.
And though we are in Texas tonight, I say it to the folks who might be watching from home.
For anyone watching from another state, know this.
If you think you are protected from Trump abortion bans because you live in Michigan or
Pennsylvania or Nevada or New York or California, or any state where voters or legislator,
have protected reproductive freedom please no no one is protected if there is a trump
national abortion ban and it will outlaw abortion in every single state understand that
and he can do it with or without an act of congress no it's not true none of it's true the total
lie across the board and i hate to use the word lie because both campaigns they say things every day
that aren't true. But this is such a blatant falsehood. It's staggering. In fact, it is the
biggest faulthood, falsehood, uttered by either candidate this entire cycle. So on April 10th of this
year, Trump said flat out, I don't want to ban abortions nationwide. Okay? That was in Atlanta.
He said it again, but it really doesn't matter what politicians say, does it?
Okay, I don't believe Trump would make any attempt to ban abortion at all from the White House
because that's against the law.
The Supreme Court has already ruled.
It is established law that the states have to adjudicate abortion, each one of the 50.
So we've already seen in Idaho, federal judge block what that judge felt was an onerous abortion policy.
Federal government kept right in and said, no, you can't restrict the way you want to in Idaho.
It's already happened.
So I'm sitting there and I'm going, all right, Kamala Harris is not telling the truth at all.
not even close to being the truth.
She doesn't care.
Now, does the media care?
The only one who brought it up
is Nora O'Donnell at CBS,
to her credit.
To her credit.
And it was briefly, all right?
She brought it up to Kamala Harris herself,
said the foreign president said it's not true,
that he would veto any attempt
passed a national abortion ban.
And then Harris says,
come on, are we really taking his word for it?
Okay.
Look, you got to go with what's on a record.
Trump was in office four years.
Did he make any attempt to ban abortion?
No.
Okay.
So there is no validity at all
to what Kamala Harris said.
None.
Now Trump.
19,000 inside Madison Square Garden was like a rock concert.
And one police officer told the press there were 20,000 outside.
I don't know.
I wasn't there.
It's not my job to go to rallies.
Hulk Hogan was there.
I'm not sure that's going to get Trump a lot of votes.
But there's Sid Rosenberg on W.A.B.C.
Look, it was all a bunch of Trump supporters.
and then Trump came on and spoke for 75 minutes.
Okay, here's a soundbite that caught my attention.
Go.
Kamala has imported criminal migrants from prisons and jails,
insane asylums and mental institutions from all around the world,
from Venezuela to the Congo,
a lot of people are coming from the Congo prisons.
They're coming from all over the world.
over the last month,
181 countries
violated our laws
and she has resettled them into your
communities to prey upon innocent
American citizens.
All right, by far and away,
that is Trump's big issue
just like Harris' abortion.
All right, illegal immigration.
Now, Trump says Kamala has imported
criminal migrants. That's not true.
Kamahars didn't import anybody.
She had no power at all in that situation.
What she did do and what Trump should have said is that she cheerleaded the Biden policy.
Biden did it, which is why he's the second worst president in the history of this country.

consequences. I don't know why both Vance and Trump are saying Kamala did it. She didn't do it.
Would she have done it? Maybe. Maybe. She certainly,
had no problem with it.
As I said, she cheerleaded it.
But here's just deal with facts.
She wants and said that she wants.
Total amnesty for every undocumented person
who's not a convicted criminal.
That's what you've got to say.
And she cheerleaded the open border.
And to this day, you had no problem with the open border.
But she didn't do it.
and when Trump says that he obscures the message because the corporate media comes in and just
he's a liar he's a liar he's a liar you know okay they're never going to do that with
Harris no matter how much she misleads ever and Trump gives that hands them and you don't have to
do it he doesn't have to do it the folks supporting Donald Trump know he's a tough guy on the
border and that's his main issue okay
Then Trump brings up the Alien Enemies Act.
This is really interesting, and you'll get it nowhere else but here.
The Aliens Enemies Act was passed in 1798, John Adams.
Okay?
I believe Adams is president then.
It's the end of Washington term.
Adams coming in.
Here's what it says, and it's still in law.
It's still law today.
Quote,
shall be the duty of several courts of the United States and of each state having criminal
jurisdiction of several judges and justice of the course of the United States and they shall be
and are hereby respectfully authorized bond complaint against any alien or alien enemies,
as after said, who shall be resident and at large within such jurisdiction and district to the
danger of the public peace or safety. Contrary to the tenor intent of such proclamation or
other regulations which the President of the United States shall
may establish in the premises to cause such alien or aliens
to be duly apprehended and convened before such court,
judge or justice, and after a full examination
and hearing on such complaint.
So Trump's saying, I already have the power
to deport anybody I want under the Alien Enemies Act.
Not quite.
Note the words after a full examination in hearing.
Every undocumented migrant under law has to get an investigation in a hearing.
Okay, according to this Enemies Act, 14 million people will be dead by the time that's over.
What Trump does have the power to do, and maybe he will do,
do it, is to cajole Congress pass new immigration laws. Like, if you're an undocumented
Ellen, you've got to register the federal government. We've got to know where you are, what you're
doing. He can do that. And if you have anything on your sheet, even a misdemeanor, out of here.
He could do that. But nobody knows anything about it. I didn't really, I knew it existed,
but I didn't know what it said. And I should have. All right, some of it.
both candidates will say anything, anything. But the media will only hold Trump accountable for
the so-called lies. It gives Harris a complete pass. And, you know, the folks know that most of
them do, and that I think will be a deciding factor in this election. I think immigration
will overwhelm abortion. And that is the memo.
of madness. This is really low. I think it's an all-time low. MSNBC totally out of control.
That's NBC News and Comcast is the corporate parent. They were analyzing Trump's rally
yesterday. Go. Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden comes days after his own former
chief of staff went on record to describe his former boss as a fascist. But that jamboree happening
right now, you see it there on your screen, in that place.
is particularly chilling because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader,
Adolf Hitler, packed the garden for a so-called pro-America rally,
a rally where speakers voiced anti-Semitic rhetoric from a stage draped with Nazi banners.
So all of the 19,000 people attended to Trump rally, and I know some of them and they're very good people,
This idiot, Capehart, who is beyond any rational thought, I mean, he's so far left, you're just staggering.
Why he's not living in a van? I have no idea. I'm sorry with the personal attack, but you've got to put the guy in perspective.
That's how left he is. He's saying you're Nazis. That's what he's saying.
Anybody who went to the Trump rally, you're a Nazi. You're just like the 1939. Bund people.
the United States. No difference. No. Now, NBC News's responsibility, you would think after this guy defames
19,000 of his own countrymen, to do something? No. We asked Comcast for a statement. Ignored us,
like they always do. NBC News cannot come back, ever. They're gone forever. They destroyed their
brand. And the irony is Donald Trump did it. They hate him so much at NBC that they've destroyed
themselves. Can't come back from that. CNN. So J.D. Vance goes on State of the Union with
Jake Tapper and Vance, who's been a pretty aggressive in confronting the press, says this.
Go. You guys talked about the Russia hoax nonstop. The FBI was investigating it. The FBI was
investigating it. So we covered them. And so you took the words of unnamed FBI agents and put them
on your network as if they were the gospel truth. You did it again and again. A viewer of your
network would have believed that Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin conspired in 2016.
No. That was totally and preposterously false. Now, well, that's what you just said is false.
Okay. What Vance just said is false.
Of course, we're going to investigate that.

when Russians were welcomed with open arms
by members of the Trump team,
including, for instance,
the Russian government lawyer
offering dirt on Hillary Clinton
and getting a meeting at Trump Tower
with the president's son,
son-in-law, campaign chairman.
None of that was true.
made no evidence under the special counsel's investigation of any wrongdoing at all.
None.
Because if there were, it would have been indictments.
Temple is that.
Mueller didn't like his own conclusions.

I should have the book.
But this is, I kind of figured this out over the weekend, and that's why I didn't know.
I will take a look at it, Bianca, and we're very pleased to have you.
So you and I have crossed paths a couple of times.
We don't know each other, but we both worked at WCVB TV in Boston, a very fine station.
And I almost worked in San Diego at KGTV, where you worked, and that's where you started investigating the border.
So you've been doing us a long time.
Give my audience on radio and television now your headline.
Most important thing that you're telling them in your book about illegal immigration.
Well, it comes down to, I think, a lot of what you just laid out in your opening monologue.
In incoming, we talk about the corporate media, which has run cover for so many things that have now brought our nation really to a brink,
where things are not just unsustainable, the tinderbox that they are trying to say Donald Trump is created.
all of their policies have led us here.
So, yeah, San Diego, late 90s bill.
I'm doing stakeouts at the border, Tijuana,
the big busiest crossing in the United States,
going into Arizona,
and we're lucky if we seek two illegals.
Flash forward, I'm sitting down with J.D. Vance in Arizona,
late August, and we go to start rolling.
And you know how it is.
I was, had an exclusive with him.
We're trying to clear up some of the childless cat lady,
the weird moniker, you know, Waltz gave him.
And there's choppers above.
and he tells me, oh, yeah, the cartel has a drone above us.
This is two weeks post-Butler, first assassination attempt, mind you.
I read about this in the book because it illustrates
that the operational control of our border is cartels.
And we know how this policy of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden now
is not just staying at the border.
You're saying that the cartels really control this whole chaos down there.
But once the undocumented migrant is in here, is in the country.

And they have been distributing the human beings, millions of them, all over the United States.
And when they settle in wherever they go, they get all kinds of entitlements and how is

So the question then becomes,
why would a federal government of any country,
not that's the United States,
want to inject 14 million people in here
when you have to support those people?
Why would you want to do that?
Setting aside the criminality of it,
just overall, why would you want to do that?
Did you ever come across a why on this?
Yeah, I think it's exactly what we're seeing play out in the state of Virginia. The DOJ is now suing and making the state put 1,600 people who identifies non-citizens back on voting rules. And Bill, you know the timing of this. Glenn Yonkin is following a state law by Democrat Tim King. So we're looking at why, if it's illegal for an illegal to vote in our federal election, why is the judge now reinstating them? So it almost looks like all of this has been
sort of a setup, if you will, and it's been planned.
And the corporate legacy media, which I also call out in this book,
hasn't cared about it, hasn't cared at all about it.
You mentioned the Democrats in their fight for abortion.
Fine.
We have missing children, 320,000 missing children.
Democrats could have had a DNA test.
So a cartel member bringing over a child, well, we'll never know because the Democrats
didn't want to do a DNA test.
So that child could be...
All right, but we still don't know the why.
And as far as a Virginia situation is concerned, what the Justice Department is saying there, because I read the brief, is that it was too late that Youngkin, the governor, who's well-intentioned, that I would have done the same thing. But I would have done it earlier because they missed the deadline of expending the voter rolls. That's what the Justice Department lawsuit is all about. But I have no, I don't disagree with you. I just want to make sure that everybody understands what happened there.
That there seems to be.
He should have done it earlier, but the DOJ knew this and they held back.
There's a reason why they didn't do it.
The DOJ is not in charge of anybody.
It's the states that are in charge.
And Yonkin picked up on it, but he didn't execute it quickly enough.
But again, it goes back to the why.
Look, Bianca, everything that is done in this country by politician, there's a reason they do it.
And I don't know what the reason is.
Some people say they want to flood America with new people to vote Democrat.
That's the most common, all right?
That's why Biden did it.
You want to open a border, get 14 million eventually new voters, most of whom would vote Democrat.
Maybe, maybe, but it's so destructive to Americans today in every area, fiscally, criminally, there's nothing good about it.
But they don't live in our world.
They don't live in the world.
I think that's the only plausible thing we could say is that it is to import voters
because they don't live in a world where they can't afford gas or groceries.
And Donald Trump coming back as the president is the threat to them in a way
because he has been an outsider, not a career politician.
And so, yes, why would they do that?
I think there's a contempt.
I don't think there's anything you can look at.
It's what's going on here in the Democratic Playbook, if you will,
which I talk about in the book and outline the long game.
I think it's been accelerated,
and we've seen it sort of in this truncated election season.
We are living in extraordinary times to be able to witness this.
I think that there is a contempt for the American institutions
that we love, that we revere,
and I think the people in power, it is power at all costs.
All right.
Well, there's no question that there's a reason,
and the progressives do want to wipe out the white patriarchy.
the white structure, that's absolutely at the top of their list.

Reaction to the Washington Post, not endorsing Kamala Harris.
So the Washington Post, reliably liberal, everybody knows it.
Okay.
Jeff Bezos owns it now, big billionaire Bezos.
The Washington Post is losing millions and millions of dollars.
So Bezos goes, you know what?
We're not going to have an endorsement this year because he needs some moderate and conservative readers.
They don't have any anymore.
That's how far left they went.
Enter Woodward and Bernstein, the most famous Washington Post report,
ever, broke Watergate, they issued a joint statement. Here it is. We respect the traditional
independence of the editorial page, but this decision 11 days out from the 2024 presidential
election ignores Washington Post's own overwhelming repertorial evidence on the threat.
Donald Trump poses to democracy, unquote. Well, number one, they don't respect the traditional
independence of the editorial page because it isn't independent. It's 100% left.
wing. No independence there. And number two, Woodward and Bernstein, excellent reporters,
by the way, in their prime, are no longer reporters. They're analysts, left-wing analysts,
both of them. Woodward's made tens of millions of dollars on hate Trump books, and Bernstein
is a staple at CNN. But you know what? They're entitled to their opinion. I don't hold it
against them. I just know what they're doing. But if you used to be a reporter and now you're an
analyst, right here you're looking at them and listening to them on a radio, it's okay. Nothing wrong
with that. L.A. Times, the owner there, Patrick Soon Nishong, ordered that paper not to make an
endorsement for the exact same reason. It's going broke. L.A. Times going broke. Those are
Washington Post. That's why they're not doing it. New Gallup poll, all right, 1,023 adults on
voting. First question, do you favor, oppose election law policies that require all voters
should provide photo ID at their voting place? Favor, 84%. Whoa, oppose 15. Voter ID should be
mandatory in every state. And if folks want it, both parties, you pinheads, you California
pinheads, requiring people who are registering to vote for the first time to provide proof
of citizenship, favor 83, oppose 15. Another overwhelming mandate. Okay? That again is in the state
purview. Got to, you know, pass law law.
that reflect the law at the federal level if you are not an American citizen you
cannot vote no state can override that final question early voting do you
like it favor 76 percent opposed 23 there you go smart life I wrote a column
yesterday entitled reasonable voters and I listed the top 10 issues
policies that affect you and where both candidates stare on it.
Okay?
Where both candidates stand on 10 of the most important policies.
Some of my liberal friends are very angry at me.
I got emails.
Now they don't usually care.
I'm going, hmm.
And you know why they're angry?
Because you can't refute this column.
It's in stone fact based.
So, I want you to read.
to come and be smart and then send it to people. Mass mailings everywhere. Final thing on the column.
My liberal friends practice, what aboutism? So they can't refute the ten I have. Here's where
Harris stands. Here's where Trump stands. Can't refute it. Okay. Well, what about Trump is a
Yeah, blah, ablo, oh, well, ah, okay, that's not what the column was.
You hate Trump, you hate Trump.
And they do.
They hate him so much that even though he might be light years better in policy, you're going to vote against him.
Hatred of very powerful emotion.

But every time I hear what.
about is I'm going to nail it because I'm not just a guest I'm an anchor here and I said to
the news nation guys you sure you want to do that because I'm going in and it's got I'm not
going to do any Hitler's anybody goes to anybody goes to the third right got a problem
with me on that on that special okay so it should be interesting and once again

The cliches on television news drive me nuts.
I know it's a phobia.
I know, I know you probably don't care, but it drives me nuts.
At the end of the day, you can't every two seconds at the end of the day.
All right, by the way, every three seconds, and here is the latest, what do you make of that?
Go.
Yet in North Carolina today, he said he has not seen any cheating with two weeks ago.
What do you make of that?
Well, Elon Musk is giving out a million dollars a day to registered voters in Pennsylvania
in states where that obviously could decide this election.
What do you make of that?
And he could remember the meeting in Athens, Georgia with White House counsel.
I mean, that isn't even the White House.
But, I mean, what do you make of that?
Here's what I make of that.
You're not thinking when you do these routes.
You've got to think.
You got to think when you're on television and the radio.
We don't use cliches.
I don't use a teleprompter for this.
I just did, we're going on 40 minutes, 4-0, totally in here.
No words on the prompter, okay?
And I don't think I use any cliches today.
I hope I don't.
But I didn't say at the end of the day, by the way, or what do you make of that?
Because I know they're cliches, and I know when people say them, they're not thinking.
It's important that people think.
I mean, I like this, Caitlin Collins.
I think she's a good talent.
But when she says, Musk is giving out one million a day to registered voters in Pennsylvania, that's not true.
He had a raffle.
And she just spouts it because she's not thinking.
What do you make of that?
And they ask me that all the time.
I go, I don't make anything of it.
What do you want to know?
And I'll tell you.
And if I don't know, I'll tell you it.
I don't know.
Because I'm thinking, and in your everyday conversation, because you're not in TV and
radio, most of you, it's the same thing.
Think about what you're saying to the person.
Think about it.
Don't use these ridiculous cliches.
Deep dot, we're going to take a deep dot.
When I was teaching high school in a Miami pretty tough neighborhood, I drummed it into
those kids.
I don't want to hear it the light at the end of the tunnel.
or canary in a coal mine.
There is no coal mine, and the canary be dead if there was.
I think I got my point across.
