Starting point is 00:01:18 Stand up for your country. Well, it's a big week for us. Confronting Evil, hits the marketplace tomorrow. Well, I started talking about it six months ago. I can't believe it was like a flash. But it's here. And it's worth your time. And we'll tell you why.
Starting point is 00:01:35 And I'm doing a lot of media, obviously. You got to do that to get people's attention. Because people are so distracted now with the phones and their kids and the sports and whatever it may be. He's got pound, pound, pound. Did you know that according to marketing studies, it takes a mention of a product any product, confronting evil is a product, nine times before Americans get it in here that it exists. Nine times. Use me once or twice or three times. Now you've got to go nine. So I hate to be
Starting point is 00:02:15 repetitive, but book is worth your while. We'll talk about it a little bit in this broadcast. based upon Tucker Carlson's statement that Putin is not as evil as Biden. I hope you read my column on this. I filed it yesterday. It's on bill o'Reilly.com. I'm not mocking Mr. Carlson. He's an ex-teammate of mine. But what I'm trying to say is that people don't understand evil,
Starting point is 00:02:47 which is why I wrote this book. I mean, you've got to understand it. And we'll get into that. But first, the talking points memo, the Trump administration hits a wall. All right. So he's everywhere. And he's paying a price for it. His hands hurt.
Starting point is 00:03:06 All right. Slashed over a little bit. He's tired. There has not been a president of modern history in the first seven months who has tried to reform the government as much as Donald Trump has. has. That is a truest orical statement. FDR would be second because he walked into the Great Depression. But half the country doesn't want reform. Half the country still supports the Democratic Party. They didn't want to change one thing other than raise taxes. Violence, okay with them.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Ukraine war? Nothing. Gaza, nothing. So the people who support the Democrats, and there are millions and millions of them, they don't want to reform at all. So Trump is up against that. But he doesn't really care. He made promises, and he wants to keep them. But right now, he's stalled. Let me back it up. So you've got the Ukraine, which Donald Trump thought he would solve very quickly, but Putin is not the same president that Trump dealt with five years ago. Putin now is a certified psychopath. He does not want to stop the killing. Very hard to negotiate with a person like that. China trade has stalled. This is huge. playing a little bit of a game, waiting to see if Trump can get anything out of Putin.
Starting point is 00:04:46 And finally, you got the Hamas situation. Just today, two Palestinians, assassinated six innocent people in Israel, just today, okay? And Hamas applauded it. You know, you anti-Israel people out there, if you don't see the evil coming out of Hamas and those terrorists, then don't read my book. There's nothing I can do for you. I opened the book with the October 7th attack just to put you in the middle of evil. But if you don't believe it at this point, forget about the book.
Starting point is 00:05:26 It's a total waste of time for you. All right. So Trump is stalled on all three of those things right now. It frustrates it. Then he's got the economy, which right now people are worried. I'll give you the poll numbers in a moment, but let me give you the economic numbers, because they're very, very important. So unemployment in the USA is 4.3%. Okay?
Starting point is 00:05:51 Four years ago, under Biden, it was 4.8%. Inflation right now is 2.7%. Four years ago, 5.4%. So, obviously, the nation is better off now than it was. four years ago under Biden, not even debatable. But Trump promised, and this is why he got elected, all right, economic relief. Now, that's a little dice here. According to the Reuters poll, and that Reuters is so-so, most Americans are worried.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Do you approve of the way Donald Trump is handling employment and jobs? Approved 38? Disapprove 51. what that's not a good number for the president do i believe the number is accurate not really but i do believe that trump has got people are waiting to see but they're not happy right now i think that's accurate cbs poll again questionable poll do you think the u.s economy is getting better 27 percent worse 56 percent that is a tough number number, staying to say 17, okay? So you are looking at, and by the way, I hate by the way,
Starting point is 00:07:20 but in addition, that's a better phrase, November 24, after Trump was elected, getting worse was 42. It's now up to 56. Why? It's because of the grocery store, primarily. Gas prices. in my neighborhood on Long Island, they're coming down a little bit, okay? They're not as bad as they were under Biden. And you could see that the oil supplies rising. That, I think, will continue. But food prices, the truth is, the grocery stores, the restaurants do not want to drop these prices. And Trump can't force them. They don't want to drop them. Food companies don't want those prices going down. That's really a tough problem.
Starting point is 00:08:12 It's almost like Putin. So you're trying to deal rationally with these problems, can't deal with an irrational man Putin, you've got to force them, okay, and the U.S. companies are going, I don't want to draw my price. I'm getting it. People have to eat. So why do I want to drop them? The only way that happens is if competition steps in.
Starting point is 00:08:38 in and some lower their prices than the others almost have to do it. Very, very difficult. So at this point, the Trump administration has lost some momentum. However, next week, interest rates will probably be cut. That could provide a storm surge for Trump. I don't know if it will. Nobody can predict these things. The tariffs, a little bit further out.
Starting point is 00:09:08 could go either way. And that's the memo. Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Under President Biden, we saw the American dream slip away for many because of record spending, open borders, policies that ignited inflation. But that's all changing. President Trump has laid out a vision to restore American prosperity,
Starting point is 00:09:28 and I want you to consider what we have in this vision. So please join me an investment expert, Alexander Green, for a special event called, the rebirth of the American dream, where we will reveal. Donald Trump's plan to eliminate inflation while supercharging growth. How a new wave of AI could create unprecedented wealth. It entails on six specific stocks, the potential to soar in Trump's second term, and a complete road back to achieving your own American dream.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Plus, everyone who attends gets a chance to claim a free copy of my number one bestselling book confronting the president's. Please visit trumpsamerican dream.com now to secure your spot. Joining us now is a economist who's, you know, he's on it. It's a pro-Trump guy, Steve Moore. He's a co-founder of Unleashed Prosperity. I get his stuff every day, and it's worth reading, that's for sure. In my analysis, am I making any mistakes, Mr. Moore?
Starting point is 00:10:32 Hi, Bill. Great to be with you. Thanks so much for having me on. great admirer of yours. I think he got most of the story right. As a Trump guy, if I were a Trump political guy, I advise him a little bit on economics. I would be worried about those numbers. Now, remember, one thing that skews these numbers is that the country, as you've reported, and everyone knows, is so polarized today that, you know, Trump could start world peace. He could find a cure for cancer. He could, you know, create 10 million jobs. And still, about half the country
Starting point is 00:11:02 would still say they oppose him. Just as underbuby. and, you know, half of the country was opposed everything he was doing. So that's why I take a little bit of these polls with the grain of salt, but it is worrisome. You're right. And I think you've diagnosed the problem well that the biggest thing that people are concerned about, and I have a one-person sample, and that's my wife, who says, every time I come home, you've got to do something about grocery prices. And people are angry about it.
Starting point is 00:11:30 And they went way up under Biden, and they've stayed high under Trump. So that is something people are very worried about because they go to the store two or three or four times a week. Now, I would say that one thing is going to provide some big relief is what you mentioned at the end, which is energy prices. Gas prices are coming down, and many areas of the country were below $3 a gallon when they were as high as $5 a gallon a few years ago. So that's something that people pay attention to as well. And that is a result of Trump's drill baby drill policies. You increase the supply of something, the price goes down. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Is there anything that any president can do about lowering food prices, or is it just the marketplace that has to do that? Did you know that fast-growing trees is the biggest online nursery in the USA? Thousands of plants, more than two million happy customers. They have everything your yard needs. fruit trees, privacy trees, shrubs, more. Whatever plants you are interested in fast-growing trees will deliver your dream yard right to your door.
Starting point is 00:12:44 They're alive and thrive, guarantee. Ensures your plants arrive happy and healthy. And this fall, they're the best deals. Up to half off selected plants. Plus, my listeners, get 15% off the first purchase with Code Bill at checkout. That's an additional 15% off with code bill at fastgrowingtrees.com. Again, fastgrowingtrees.com code bill.
Starting point is 00:13:12 Now is the perfect time to plant, save today with code bill. Offer valid for a limited time, terms, conditions may apply. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping. the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold.
Starting point is 00:13:43 And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax advantage, gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401K, tax and penalty free. with billions in precious metals delivered thousands of five-star reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau. You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-55-7576 or text bill to 9988-99. Again, that's 866-326-5576 or text bill to 998899. Yeah, that's a good question.
Starting point is 00:14:30 I think it's the marketplace. One of the things that's really curious, Bill, and I don't have an answer to this, but I'll just raise it as an issue. Have you talked to farmers lately? They don't feel like they're doing very well. The farmers, they're complaining. They always complain. What's that?
Starting point is 00:14:46 They always complain. I've never, ever, and I love the farmers. You know, but they always complain. And so you have prices at the grocery. store are going up, and yet farmers are saying they're not doing any better. So where's the money going? The transportation companies and the food companies. Food companies margin of profit, the big food companies, it's up. They're not hurting. That's where the money's going. But I don't see, you know, Nixon, as you know, and being an economic scholar, tried wage price controls.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Disaster. Didn't work. Can't do it. So when Donald Trump says, I'm going to bring down food prices. He's raising expectations to a level that he can't meet. Am I wrong? I don't think he should have said that. What he should have said is I'm going to stabilize food prices, and to a large extent, he has done that. I mean, look, the overall inflation rate in the economy, which had reached as high as 9% under Joe Biden, is now running at, you know, 2.6, 2.7%. I'd like to see that down below 2.5%. I'd like to see it closer to 2%. But it's, It's in a range that you can live with. Now, one thing to think about, if people are concerned about high prices, then is this the right time to be cutting interest rates?
Starting point is 00:16:08 Because putting interest rates puts more money in the economy. I'm a little nervous about that. When Trump says, let's cut interest rates by 200 basis points, be careful of what you wish for, Mr. President. You flood the economy with that much money. You know, what is inflation? We learned this from Milton Friedman. Well, he's hoping. Too many dollars chasing too few goods.
Starting point is 00:16:27 But he's hoping that may not be a great idea. But here's what he's hoping for. He's hoping that the interest rate cut will stimulate job creation and get the job market moving again so that people would be earning more money. That's what the tariff thing's all about. He wants the American people to earn more money because that's what happened in his first term. So that's why he's doing it. I don't oppose that. But here's the last question for you.
Starting point is 00:16:55 This issue is everything for Donald Trump, far more than Ukraine and Gaza, and even China. China is unbelievably serious. But this issue is coming to a head in the midterm elections. It's 14 months. And if the White House is not able to present a vastly improving economic situation, they risk losing Congress, one or both houses. That's the urgency. Well, I agree with what you just said.
Starting point is 00:17:34 It is the economy, stupid. And look, I'm very bullish. You're talking to one of the most bullish guys out there. I like a lot what Trump is doing. Now, I'm not a big fan of the terrorists, but I like these trade deals. I think he was going to get a better deal with some of these countries. He's already gotten commitments of hundreds of billions of dollars. He says trillions, but I'm going to say hundreds of billions of dollars of
Starting point is 00:17:54 new investment in the United States. That will create a lot of jobs. We have completely secured the border. We've got, you know, down 94% in terms of illegal immigration. As I mentioned, low gas prices or records to high stock market. And people are feeling, you know, just better about stuff. So I think good times are here to come. All right, Steve. You know, for everybody, I hope you're right. It's not a political play. I want all Americans to have better lives. and you need money to do that. There's no doubt about it. Okay, let's go to Chicago.
Starting point is 00:18:28 So this is on hold. But here is something very clever. And the news media never reports this. That's why you watch and listen to me. So there's a constitutional problem with Trump sending National Guard and federal agents to control crime in Chicago. There's no doubt.
Starting point is 00:18:51 That's a posse commentatus law. So here's what the administration is doing. It's flooding Chicago with ICE agents because Chicago is a sanctuary city. In order to protect those ICE agents, President Trump is saying, I need federal authority because the locals may hurt the ICE federal agents. We have to protect them. So I'm going to send in the guard and some federal agents, FBI, DEA, maybe, to protect the federal immigration agents on the ground because they need protection.
Starting point is 00:19:36 That's what he did in L.A. So look, we got to protect federal property because the L.A. authorities aren't going to do it. And California authorities. That's what's happening now. still a gray area, but gives the administration more authority constitutionally than it would have if it just went, boom. That's why the guard isn't in there. And at the same time, the Trump administration, the president himself, believes he's winning
Starting point is 00:20:08 the issue because the Democrats that oppose this have no solution to the vast murders. Listen, this weekend, not a holiday weekend, 19 people shot in Chicago, 19, seven dead, 12 wounded. Illinois and Chicago cannot control the violence. It's going on for years. They don't want to control it. They don't want to, because then you get into racial politics. Then you get into, hey, it's mostly black drug gangs killing other blacks. They don't want to deal with it.
Starting point is 00:20:49 So, it's obviously has to be addressed, and if your state and city won't address it, federal has to. Now, that's been going on. As I said, the message of the day on Bill O'Reilly.com since George Wallace. All right, we're standing in the doorstep, and JFK said, get out of there. I'm sending a guard it. Eisenhower sent a guard to Arkansas to enforce federal law. Okay, I forget what president was that took over the New Orleans. I think it was Reagan.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Took over the whole police department in New Orleans because it was so corrupt. Fed's ran it. This is not unprecedented. So that's what's happening in Chicago. There is a poll on CBS again. Question, do you favor, oppose Donald Trump's decision to deploy National Guard to Washington, to Washington? Favor 43, opposed 57. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Breaking by party, only 7% of Democrats favor that. 93% oppose. Republicans 87 favor, 13, oppose. Okay? So, even though that's federal authority, and since the Guard has been in Washington, it's been a 38% drop in violent crime. That's a lot of deaths.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Prevent it. Deppocrats don't care. They don't care. Now, it's not a partisan statement. It's a factual statement. You can get protein at home or a protein latte at Tim's. If you say to them, hey, 38% drop in violent crime, man, that's significant. They don't have any answer to that. Oh, it's a fascist. They're the Constitution. No, the police state.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Blum, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. In Chicago, the machine hates Trump. This is Pritzker, Johnson. So they're never, ever going to cooperate with him. So what's going to happen in Chicago? I think the Guard will go in because the president doesn't shy away from these legal battles. Supreme Court, protecting ICE agents, it's tough. It's going to be 5'4 either way.
Starting point is 00:23:59 So that's what's going on there. Listen to this story. Now, I got to credit John Solomon, just the news. This guy's a really good investigative report. Yes. He's conservative. Okay. But boy, he's good. So they filed Justin News at Freedom of Information Act about how much money we, the American taxpayer, have paid Hunter Biden. We're paying Hunter. Do you know that? Listen to this. Okay, $11 million when Joe Biden was in office for security. travel, real estate, hotels, on and on, and on, and on. So this was hidden until Solomon and Just the News filed a FOIA, Freedom of Information, got all that. Let me run it down for you.
Starting point is 00:24:55 And I'll put it into perspective. You'll remember RFK Jr. when he was campaigning and be president was denied secret service protection. Remember that? Not Hunter. Nope. So, according to Justin News, Hunter took a Thanksgiving trip to Nantucket, see his dad and his family, $10,000 on golf cart rentals for Secret Service to get around, okay, 120,000 on lodging in Antarctica, 120,000, okay, 120,000 on, 120,000 on, 120,000 on ferries, car rentals, on an
Starting point is 00:25:37 on and on and on okay then hunter took a trip to st croix and the virgin islands okay three hundred seventy two thousand dollars three hundred and seventy two thousand dollars it's staggering and can you imagine this taxpayer money going this is hunter bide he's in he's in the caribbean on our we're paying for it 18 000 for two days for two days trip to Santa Barbara, $10,000 for one night in Arlington, Virginia, $170,000 for two-day trip to Wilmington, Delaware, 250,000 13 hotels on a New York City hotel rooms on a New York City trip, $650,000 for a trip to wine country in California. This is all Secret Service expenses, and family expenses, all, all of that, we paid it.
Starting point is 00:26:43 You don't think Biden was corrupt? The president? You don't think he's corrupt? Boy, LAPD ends protection for Kamala Harris. So, on September 1st, that was the last time Secret Service was ordered to protect the former Vice President, Donald Trump, ordered no more protection. Five days later, Saturday, September 6th, the LAPD said we can't protect her either because we have to do crime suppression. So Kamala now is left without any protection at all.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Lives in a house in Brentwood, California. It's got security. Now, I don't know if this is good because she could get hurt. Toml Harris. She's going to have to hire her own private security, and I know people will say, well, that's what you have to do. Okay. But I'm not sure I would have done that this close with this kind of a country now, divided and a lot of hatred. I mean, not to try to kill Trump on the golf course.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Do you know his trial begins today? Jury selection begins today? I mean, there's nuts everywhere. So I'm a little uneasy. I would not have done that. I would have extended the Secret Service protection of Kamala Harris a bit. Not that I didn't, not forever. And we're going to cover that trial.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Nobody knows anything about this. I did a big radio piece on it. This guy, Ruth, he's a nut. He's representing himself. But they'll put him away for life. That's the end game on it. this thing. But the process begins today in Florida. All right, evil. So Tucker Carlson gave me a big opening here. Now, he's an old teammate of mine from Fox News. You know that. And I get along
Starting point is 00:28:47 with him fine. I don't have any beefing out. He's free to say what he wants to say. He runs an operation out of X. He's one of the best mocketeers I've ever seen. He's on a par with Trump knows how to get attention. But his latest, I said, whoa, he believes Tucker Carlson, that Biden is more evil than Putin. Go. If you think that Joe Biden was a better leader or a better man than Vladimir Putin, like, I don't even know what to say to you, but that's insane. There's by no measure, by no measure. Did Joe Biden's country, the people he solemnly swore to help and defend, did they thrive? No, they withered.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Putin, who's been there for 25 years, his country has improved. The people are happier. They like him, actually. The war has been a little tough on Putin. Of course it's been tough. I'd be curious about public opinion today this far into the war.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Well, actually, it's measured a lot. Yeah, look it up. And you can say, oh, that's all a lie. Okay, well, show me one. Yeah. Go there. And look, I'm not. moving to Russia. But, I mean, Putin has been the most effective leader in my lifetime.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Well, effective is an interesting word. You can say Hitler was an effective leader. He conquered all of Europe. You could say Mao Zed Tong was affected. He made China communist. It remained so today. Stalin, okay, made Russia communist. Effective, that's a tough work. but Putin's evil and you've got a million Russians that are wounded in that war
Starting point is 00:30:36 and there's no popular opinion polls in Russia and nobody answered the question because you wind up dead oh hi buddy who's the best you are I wish I could spend all day with you
Starting point is 00:30:52 instead uh Dave you're off mute Hey, happens to the best of us. Enjoy some goldfish cheddar crackers. Goldfish have short memories. Be like goldfish. Pumpkin is here at Starbucks, and we're making it just the way you like.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Handcrafted with real ingredients like our real pumpkin sauce and rich espresso, sprinkled with pumpkin spice. It's full of real flavors you'll keep coming back for. Made just for you at Starbucks. And I document all of this in confronting evil. So I wrote a column yesterday about this situation. I hope you read it on bill o'Reilly.com. But there are, the important issue is Putin's far more evil than Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:31:41 But Biden's not off the hook. So if you read The Divine Comedy by Dante, it's a classic, you'll know that there are circles, nine circles of hell. That's Dante's theory. And the worst of the worst are the top circle and it goes down. That's what this is. Okay. So I got 15 people, all men in confronting evil.
Starting point is 00:32:09 I couldn't find a woman that rose to the 15 men we talked to you about. And I'm going to play a clip on a News Nation special at a moment. But there are levels of evil. Now, Joe Biden's evil was. that he violated his constitutional oath to enforce the laws of the United States by totally turning away from the southern border, by just not enforcing border law. And when Trump came in and enforced it, it stopped dead. The result of Biden not enforcing border was the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Murders, chaos, millions of criminals came in here, millions to cause destruction. That's evil. Now, some people will make a case that, well, Biden didn't know what he was doing. Nobody can prove that. I don't think Biden cared, and that's evil. If you don't care about what happens to fellow human beings, you're bad. But it's not Putin. Putin wants to kill women and children.
Starting point is 00:33:31 That's a strategy of his. We'll kill as many people as we can. We don't care who they are in Ukraine, and they'll surrender and we'll take over the country. My God. So anyway, I thought it was fascinating. And I wanted to bring it to your attention. smart life so something I started late in life that's helped me a lot is a weekly calendar okay and if you don't have a weekly planner I got a big thing
Starting point is 00:34:12 you're gonna miss out on a lot of life so this is a smart life segment so on Wednesday, this coming, September 10, News Nation is doing a special on Confronting Evil, a one-hour special. It's at 10 p.m. Eastern Time. You got to write it down. This is just a million things going on. Now, I'll be on News Nation tonight with Leland Vitterd at 9. Wednesday, I'll be on with Cuomo at 8. It's a lot of O'Reilly on News Nation, but the special goes over a lot of the things in the book. So here's a taste of it. This is about the evil of American slave traders. The two men who headed up that industry
Starting point is 00:34:57 became the wealthiest men in the world. Roll it. Slavery was at the very heart of the American economy. That's why it was so important to the South. That's the thesis of the 1619 project. Right. Are you on the same side as them? No.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Okay. Because slavery was exclusively for the benefit of the aristocracy in the South. And the reason it wasn't outlawed was because the South would succeed. And everybody knew that. These cooks that want to denigrate America, they basically say, okay, slavery built the country.
Starting point is 00:35:37 That's not true. All right, that's not even close to being true. What is true is the legacy of slavery harms African Americans to this day. That is true. And I think we have true. now to rectify that mistake. My belief is we have tried to write the historical wrongs. The Civil War was fought to protect slavery, yet the statues to Confederate generals still stand.
Starting point is 00:36:02 A big part of traditional values, Americans, whatever you want to call them, MAGA, we're going to bring the statues back. Bases named after Confederate generals. How do you swear that? I swear it, like, I want those names out there. I want people to see who these men were because they're all different there's a difference of having the name out there than celebrating it right we wouldn't have about celebrating would we ever have fort forest after nathan bedford forest so one of the worst people uh who ever lived in america is nathan bedford forest we get a chapter on him confederate general and he was the founder of the kuklux clan as evil as they come that is no justification for having a statue of nathan bedford
Starting point is 00:36:46 for us. Robert E. Lee, a different story. Okay, so I try in this documentary to all the people that we have in a book, all the evildoers, to tie it into present day. And they all tie in. Henry the 8th ties in. Jenghis Khan ties in. Where do you see how they tie in? And it's a history book, obviously a lot of people don't care about history. But boy, oh boy, I think you got to know it. And finally, the overarching of confronting evil is, if good people don't confront it, if you look away, even in your own neighborhood, whatever's going on, then evil gains power. That's it. Final thought. My mother is a final thought back in a moment.
Starting point is 00:37:36 All right, here is the final thought of the day. So I had a great mom. Winiford, Angela O'Reilly. Okay. The kindest woman, oh my God, she was so good at being a mom. Luckiest thing in my life that I had her raising me. My mother never experienced evil in her entire life. She lived in a bubble, a suburban bubble in Levittown.
Starting point is 00:38:05 It's a neighborhood. It's a church. It was socializing. She never saw it. Not one time. My father built a kind of a protective wrap around the house. But I've seen evil 50 years of reporting like crazy. But my mother knew it existed, but she never saw it.
Starting point is 00:38:30 A lot of people like that. And I opened confronting evil with October 7th, the Hamas raid in Israel. I put you right in the middle of that raid in case you have never experienced direct evil. And that's why the worthiness of the book, you've got to know what the world is all about. And we have to fight it. Thank you for watching and listening to the No Spin News. We'll see you again tomorrow.
