Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, June 13th, 2019, Take Your Country Back. So the big story is Donald Trump, once again, stirring it up. He sits down with George, Stephanopoulos. You know, people ask me, well, why would he do that? Stephanopoulos, obviously a hostile. Donald Trump, as I will spill out in my new book, I know you're almost tired of hearing about it, but he thinks he can win almost anybody over. and he doesn't think Stephanopheles can beat him.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Not that Stephanophilus did anything wrong in his questioning he didn't. But Trump, you know, he has his optimistic viewpoint that he can convince anybody of anything. And it's not true. So, of course, the Mueller-Russian collusion, because Stephanophilus really is invested, as is ABC News and the others, in keeping this alive, all right, keeping it alive. So, Stephanopoulos, based upon a news story where Donald Trump Jr. goes in and testifies again in front of a House committee in secret, he opens up that door, Stephanopoulos, to ask President Trump about Don Jr.
Starting point is 00:01:23 receiving emails from Russians. Roll the tape. Should he have gone to the FBI when he got that email? Okay, let's put yourself in a position. You're a congressman. Somebody comes up and says, hey, I have information on your opponent. Do you call the FBI? I don't think, I'm coming from Russia, you do.
Starting point is 00:01:39 I've seen a lot of things over my life. I don't think in my whole life I've ever called the FBI. In my whole life, you don't call the FBI. You throw somebody out of your office, you do whatever you do. Al Gore got a stolen briefing book. He called the FBI. Well, that's different, a stolen briefing, but this isn't a story. This is somebody that said, we have information on your opponent.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Oh, let me call the FBI. Give me a break. Life doesn't work that way. The FBI director says that's what should happen. The FBI director is wrong. Okay, so as soon as he says the FBI director is wrong, then it blows up into a headline. Does President Trump care? No, he doesn't care. Now, from the very beginning, I said about this Donald Trump junior meeting in the Trump Tower. Look, every single political campaign would have taken that meeting and not called anybody. If you're running against someone for office and then a person, Russia, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Albanian,
Starting point is 00:02:37 doesn't matter, calls you and says, hey, I got some dirt. You're going to hear it. You're not going to call the FBI who wouldn't even take your call. Maybe they'd take Don Trump Juniors, but you and he's the regular everyday American, you couldn't even get through. Cable ratings, been telling you for months. are a disaster because people have lost trust in what the people on cable news are telling them. First is break.
Starting point is 00:03:07 Recently, I had a great conversation with the CEO of the Hartford Gold Group, Sanford Man. He's a true entrepreneur. I like those kind of guys, looking to provide customers with the best possible experience when they invest in physical gold and silver. So right now, the Hartford Gold Group is giving you. you a free silver coin. To viewers of the no-spin news exclusively,
Starting point is 00:03:32 you just go to www. Hartfordgoldgroup.com forward slash no-spin. Or you can give them a call at 866-484-0517. 866-484-0-517. Tell them O'Reilly sent you to get the free gift. So the headline yesterday is that April marked CNN's lowest rated month in four years. CNN was down 33% from 19 to 18, but all of
Starting point is 00:04:10 them are down. Okay? Fox News viewership prime time. That's their big moneymaker. That's where the O'Reilly factor was. Okay? Fox News viewership fine 25% decline. One year, okay? Two years, since I've left, about 40. About 40%. I asked a disaster. All right. One year decline, MSNBC, 32%. It's a third of their viewers. And CNN, as I told you, at the worst month, but get this. One year decline. Okay, we're talking April 19 to April 18, CNN, 55% decline. Got it. So what's happening in the cable news industry, and I know some of you still participate in that, is what happened to ESPN. Remember ESPN was once a monster. All right, Monday night football, dominated sports coverage, and now collapsed. Total collapse at ESPN. That is going to happen on cable news. All of them. There will be a little revival all right in the fall and winter as the presidential race gets underway. But as Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:05:40 told me 10 days ago, once he leaves the stage for whatever reason, way goodbye to cable news. All right, I have a final thought on how President Trump might want to change, but first, this announcement. If you are over the age of 50, I have an important message for you. There's a true alternative to AARP, the Liberal Retirement Group, that lobbies in favor of progressive policies. For less than $20 a year, an AMAC membership gives you members-only pricing on car insurance, roadside assistance, discounts on hotels and travel, cell phone plans, discount dental plans,
Starting point is 00:06:24 and on and on and on. So please join more than one million fellow Americans right now at amac.us. That's amac.org. And yes, I am a member. Visit amac.org. amac.org.
Starting point is 00:06:43 Okay, final thought of the day from O'Reilly. the president of the United States is a different person than he was three and a half years ago. Why? Because he's the president of the United States. So, I was on Bernie and Sid's radio program on WABC and New York today. And they asked me, do you think Donald Trump made a mistake criticizing Nancy Pelosi and Robert Mueller at Normandy? when he was being interviewed by Laura Engram. And I said, yes, I do. Here's how I would have played it.
Starting point is 00:07:22 So Laura Engram asked me a question about Nancy Pelosi saying that I, the president, should be in jail. Now, that's a legitimate question by Laura. It doesn't matter where you are. I would have said, if I had President Trump, if I were President Trump, Laura, I'm going to answer that question,
Starting point is 00:07:39 but I'm not going to answer it here. So we're going to go away from the cemetery, and then I'll give you an answer. But right now, and then I would have pivoted from looking to Laura right into the camera, I want to say this to the American people. As your president, I am so proud of the United States of America on this day, on this soil, here at the American Cemetery in Normandy, France, on American soil. We own that land.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I am so proud to be the president of this. country which has liberated billions of people all over the world and continues to be a beacon of freedom for the planet. It is my great honor to be here in Normandy and to represent the United States of America. So I'm not going to talk about Nancy Pelosi or any other political thing while I'm here. I will talk about it with Laura Ingraham 20 minutes from now or whatever. That's what I would have said. And I believe that Donald Trump has to now use his position as the president of this country for a higher goal than politics or writing wrongs or any of that.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Not all the time. He's got to fight back. And I have no problem with him tweeting or anything like that. But certain times you have to be the president. and you have to represent your country in a way that's indelible. Nobody's going to remember what he said about Nancy Pelosi at Normandy a week from now. But if he had said that, everybody would have remembered that forever. I'll see you again soon.
