Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for MintMobil. Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back. So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills. But it turns out that's very illegal. So there goes my big idea for the commercial. Give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch. A upfront payment of $45 for three-month plan equivalent to $15 per month required. New customer offer for first three months only.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Speed slow after 35 gigabytes of networks busy. Taxes and fees extra. See mintmobile.com. So we got a mayor, Eric Adams, who's under suspicion. He's not doing a good job. He's not going to be reelected. He's got to run in a primary in June. Looks like former governor, Andrew Cuomo, is his main competition.
Starting point is 00:00:48 So Adams was indicted everybody. He knows that who pays attention. I didn't think the charges were, I don't know, what's a word here? they didn't spin my head around, but you can't be taken $100,000 worth of air flights and hotel rooms and then giving people a pass on safety regulations in their office buildings. That was the allegation by the Justice Department, federal beef, not city beef, because Bragg would never go against Adams. And same thing with the state.
Starting point is 00:01:24 So Adams got nailed by the Fids. So he makes some kind of an alliance with President Trump. I don't know what that is. I hear a lot of stuff, but unlike all of the other so-called reporters, I don't use anonymous sources, and I will not report it to you as fact unless I can prove it. And I can't prove anything against Adams now. So he goes on a bunch of shows. and I'm going to play a sound bite in a minute from Adams.
Starting point is 00:01:59 And he said, look, I didn't make any deal. And, you know, I'm here and I'm not going to resign. This is Adams's position. But the Trump administration is under suspicion as well. So Tom Holman, he is the border czar, Homeland Security Guy, goes on CNN, Dana Bash, and here's how it played. It sounds like the DOJ dropped the case against Adams. And in exchange, he let you into Rikers.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Is that what happened? No, I think that's ridiculous. Mearing Mayor Adams met a couple months ago. I think it was probably eight, nine weeks ago we met. We had the same discussion. And we talked about getting a presence in Rikers Island. We talked about how we can collaborate on public safety threats and finding the missing children that can be found after they released their sponsors.
Starting point is 00:02:52 All right, so Holman says no deal. I think it was a deal, but I don't know what it is. And Holman might not know, but something happened. All right, so Adams, he goes to Baptist Church in Queens on Sunday and says this. So I'm clear on my mission. And I just find it so amazing. The most sanctified among us. I'm calling for me to step down.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I'm not going to step down, I'm going to step up. I got a mission to finish. And I want you to be clear. You're going to hear so many rumors and so many things. You're going to read so much. I am going nowhere. No word. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Okay. I'd probably fight it out if I were Adams, too. But he's not going to be successful. All the polls say that Cuomo beat him one-on-one. It isn't so much the beef, the legal beef from the Justice Department. It said Adams is doing a bad job. Quality of life is not improving in the city. And that's what everybody is very concerned about. We've got to go to work, got to ride his subways. thugs are all over the place. And then a cost of living is it can't get any higher. And New York is the highest-takes-staton-U, highest-tax state in the union.
Starting point is 00:04:34 And if you drive 32 miles an hour in Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island, they'll give you a $50 ticket. Because his cameras everywhere, that's theft. They're stealing from us. That's Adams. So I'll be amazed if he is re-elected.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Thank you.
