Welcome to the No Spin News, Thursday, June 6th, 2019. Take your country back. Okay, big story, everybody knows, 75th anniversary of the D-Day Landing, which turned the tide on the Western Front in the struggle against Nazi Germany. So the Western leaders were gathered in France, and I reported this earlier this week, but you may not know this. If you were killed during D-Day and you were an American, You did not get sent home for burial.

So during World War II, you were buried where you fell. And that was in a Pacific theater and in Europe. So when I went to Normandy a couple of years ago, I had been there before. It really took a lot of time to walk around because there are thousands and thousands of Americans buried there. In fact, the cemetery is American soil. It's not French soil. So we had a number of people paying tribute. You've heard the sound bites probably by this time.

I just want to play you a little bit of President Trump, first of all. Today as we stand together upon this sacred earth, we pledge that our nation will forever be strong and united. We will forever be together. Our people will forever be bold. Our hearts will forever be loyal. And our children and their children will forever and always be free. May God bless our great veterans. Very good speech.

Even the hate Trump media were restrained. revoltingly, they attacked President Trump's Vietnam record, but very good speech. Here's an interesting story out of Spokane, Washington. There is a sheriff in Spokane County. Spokane, Washington is in the eastern part of the state. But it's not a very liberal. It's about 50-50. Anyway, his name is Ozzy Nazovic. Ozzy Nazovic. So Sheriff Nezovich says, I'm not going to cooperate with the state

sanctuary law signed by Governor Jay Inslee, who's running for president. So Inslee signs the law that says, the state of Washington, all employees that work for the state cannot cooperate with ICE. Now, that's an illegal law, by the way, it's illegal, because federal law, you can't, he can't do that. But the sheriff takes this step further. The sheriff says that Inslee should be arrested for obstruction of justice. Now, if Innsley goes to Spokane County, he may get arrested to go from the state.

Anyway, the sheriff says he's not obeying the sanctuary state law. Fascinating story. Okay, so we have all kinds of stuff in the Bill O'Reilly.com store for dad and granddad. And if you heard me at the top of the program say that Americans now think drug addiction is the number one problem we have. That's weakness.

I know it's a disease. I know there's all kinds of things attached to substance abuse. I got it. But to do it is weakness to become a drug addict or an alcoholic. is weakness, and you have to overcome the weakness if you want to get back in the land of the living. Because if you are addicted, you are going to hurt yourself and the others around you, particularly those who love you. But even though addiction is a huge problem, a bigger problem is the mentality of many of our fellow citizens, is that the government owes them a good existence

that Washington should provide for them. That's weakness. Self-reliance is strength. We've gotten away from that totally here in America. And now we have a bunch of whiners running around college campuses, not just the students, the faculty and the administrators. Oh, I don't even want to even be in their presence. All right?

They're weak. They're everybody's excuse, excuse, excuse. this one's involved that's one in fault this and that and America's bad and we need socialism and we need safe spaces and we need this and we need inclusion and we need oh god I mean I just wall my when I hear that I got to tell you I just leave I don't even engage I used to if I know somebody who's of that mentality I just go I just go hey have a nice day or a nice life That's how I just think it's revolting. Do you imagine these people facing Nazis, the Third Reich?

And Putin knows this. Putin's got his own problems with his country on alcoholism and substance abuse. The Russians are really bad shape. But Putin knows, all right? And she knows in China. They know that many Americans are weak and that our society doesn't celebrate strength anymore. Oh, no, if you're a strong, self-reliant person,

something to matter with you. You're a white supremacist or whatever it may be. Achievement? Nah. No. Remember Barack Obama? You didn't build that. You didn't do that. Wasn't you.

So you're in Washington. Remember that? That's the mentality. Anyway, we need to get tougher. The United States needs to get tougher. It's got to start in the schools, and right now, that's almost hopeless. But you parents and grandparents, you pull those urchins aside, and you show them what happened in World War II, and in Vietnam, and in Korea,

and in the Revolutionary War, in the Civil War. I mean, to free the slaves, hundreds of thousands of Union troops killed in Maine. So that is it. That is it. Anyway, I want you to have a good weekend. Weather's getting nice, 80 degrees here in New York City today. I want you to relax. I'll be checking in. All right, we got the Holly picks coming out.
