Starting point is 00:00:00 And we're going. We're back with a free episode. Yes. If you haven't been following our adventures and all the drama, we're now in what you described as a coffin. It's a podcast booth. A podcast coffin. That's where we belong.
Starting point is 00:00:15 It's quite small, but it's nice. So it's a boot, and it is beside reception in the Monnet Enterprise Office. Anyone wants to pop by and say hello. Yeah. We're beside the receptionist and the cleaning lady. The entrance and say it's all glass. so people can look in at it's like we're a zoo animals. People drive past, like,
Starting point is 00:00:33 oh yeah, a couple of pay, though. This is like the sin bin, you know? I was warming to it, and now I don't, you know what it is? I was in it for a while and was like, oh, this is okay. Then I went outside. Yeah. I was like, oh, it's way better out there. Because the box gets hot as well.
Starting point is 00:00:52 We're in the hot box. It gets hot and steamy and stanky. Yeah. Yeah, it'd be stanking up in here. I'm not helping. Well, I didn't want to say. But, you know, despite everything, you've been put on a good performance there.
Starting point is 00:01:03 It was all right. Yeah, yeah. I mean, we're all a little bit distracted when people walking past. Sure. Yeah, we'll get used to it, you know? Yeah. Well, the only options we have are, you know,
Starting point is 00:01:12 we can get a nice... You know, I could get like some place in Dublin, you know? Kind of like a fun house we could have, you know? Like a gaff. Like a boy's fun house, that'd be good. Yeah, have you been looking? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:24 I see it's easy to find a place in Dublin. Yeah. I could go to Carlo. Is there somewhere... There is my granny's house in Carlo. where we can get as loud as we want But I mean that's a long drive for you Well
Starting point is 00:01:35 The only thing was maybe we could let you sleep In like you know where the donkeys live The donkeys have a place that they think is too shit and smelly Right Yeah But it's got It's Shee Cadden You know
Starting point is 00:01:49 My little home By home from home I mean yeah We could have you then Some stage we could do that yeah I mean it's a fair drive for you But we'll embarrass you But sure you drove here as well
Starting point is 00:02:00 It's not fair for you to be driving here. Well, yeah, we'll do that then where we'll put you in my granny's house and it's right beside the pub. I don't have to stay there. No, you can because there's a pub in one side in Ukraine's and your...
Starting point is 00:02:10 Ukrainians? Yeah. There's two Ukrainians there and you can do what you want to. Look at little gay boys recording podcast, pathetic. But yeah, you can stay in my granny's house then, you know?
Starting point is 00:02:22 Where's your granny? Oh, she's long dead. Oh. That was all part of my plan. The long con. What about your granddad? he's, Oh, he's long gone as well.
Starting point is 00:02:32 So there then? A poison boat of them. Nice. It's an empty house. Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. So someday that'll be the Cadden shack, as they call it.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Yeah. You can do what you want in there, you know, with my permission. I run a tight ship. Mr. Brian, is that okay if I close the windows, it's ever so cold here in the wintertime? I like it makes your nipples all hard. You know that I'm a tropical people, Mr. Bryant. Yeah. Well, look, I do, I think, at some stage, just from my own mental health, okay?
Starting point is 00:03:05 I will get some little shitbox in Dublin. Yeah. Although I do like not paying rent. That is very nice. Oh, I've been loving it, saving it all up. And you know what? I have all this money. I'm not doing anything with it, but I just like having it there, you know?
Starting point is 00:03:18 Yeah. This extra 500. And for you see, yeah. You can kind of see where, you know, the likes of Bezos and Musk, where they just accumulate billions. And suddenly I'm like, I don't want any commies in the government. Yeah. No taxes, thank you. All my harder money
Starting point is 00:03:33 going to some fucking layabouts. Yeah. Well, make sure you vote Finna Gale, Finnafoil back in and you'll get to reap the rewards while we all slowly die on the vibe.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Good. Speaking of politics, all right, I did watch a film. As a film that I thought, oh, just be very entertaining and we get an hour out of it easy. No. No.
Starting point is 00:03:55 I watch run, hide, fight, Infidels. The new Daily Wire Joint. New Daily Wire Joint and it's the first Run Hyde Fight film actually made by Daily Wire because the first one wasn't made
Starting point is 00:04:09 by Daily Wire it was bought by them Oh so there's like This is Run Hyde fight with Ben Shapiro's tentacles really in it Right okay
Starting point is 00:04:18 And you can really hear Ben Shapiro in this Did you watch the first one? Years ago yeah So did I I thought it was pretty boring and shit Yeah it wasn't Because what you want
Starting point is 00:04:28 Is a like I want a proper like, you know, the shooter is like, oh, my pronouns. Yeah, he he-h-he. Yeah, what was it? I'm going to burn the American flag. Yeah. But it was just some kid. Some nerds who were like, they were mean to me.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Yeah, it was kind of basically political. Yes. This is a little bit more political, you know, but not enough to be entertaining. Right. So the whole selling point of this is it's starring, asterisk, okay, starring Jonathan Majors,
Starting point is 00:04:59 who was a rising star. He was huge. He was, man, he was going to be in the next Avengers movies. Yeah. He was going to be called the Kang Dynasty. He was in, so what was that, the Black Panther movie, and then Creed as well, obviously? He was in the Black Panther films. Was he not?
Starting point is 00:05:15 No, you just assumed that. Wait, hang on. He was in Malcolm X, wasn't he, and, what was it, do the right thing? Well, no, he was in that one. Amist-style, right? Yeah, yeah. Uh, Friday. I know you don't beat up, win.
Starting point is 00:05:31 I know this, but we're going to get the shit out of women to, because it's Friday, you ain't got no job, we got shit you do. No, he was, he played Kang, so he would have been in the Loki TV show. Apparently he would say it was ex-wife, you got knocked a fucker. It's Friday reference on domestic violence. You're interrupted me talking with Kang for that. Sorry. Was Kang, was he not the villain in?
Starting point is 00:05:56 Kang was the villain in Quantum Mania. Okay. And at the end of that, it turned out It was a bunch of Kangs. Right. I mean, literally like a stadium full of Johnton Majors going like, Whoa, I can't wait. Watch out, bitch.
Starting point is 00:06:10 What are these days? And he was going to show up in next Avengers films. The Kang Gang Gang. Yeah, so it was going to be the Kang gang gang. It was going to be a bunch of Johnton Majors, okay? Right. And cause of incidents outside of Marvel's control. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:23 They didn't make him do it. I guarantee you that, all right? That's not in the comics. I don't think they stopped them, though, did they? is what happens in between the panels. So it's funny how hitting a woman almost... It is funny, Brian, yes.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Almost like the butterfly effect, okay? Because of that, Robert Downey Jr. got like $30 million. Right. And, you know, the option to make way more off the back end. Because they were like, okay, we can't have the black guy
Starting point is 00:06:50 who beats up women, what are we going to get? Didn't Robert Downey Jr.? Surely he smacked a few hoes back in the day? Well, not on camera. When he was going wild? you know. We're going to get a white ex-junkie, basically. That's what they got there. Robert Dow Jr., he was drinking, wasn't he?
Starting point is 00:07:05 No, he was on everything, I'm pretty sure. Like, he was a madman. And he got caught with guns as well. And, yeah, he was a fucking wild boy. Well, he's Iron Man. I always remember that joke from the Simpsons when they go to visit Hollywood. It's like, Robert Downey Jr.'s filming a shootout with the cops.
Starting point is 00:07:22 I don't see any cameras. And I just thought, wow, genius. It's funny, because in that thing as well, like, Mel Gibson is the king of, like, he's the biggest star there is. Yeah. And Robert Downe Jr. is like, that's the punchline. Interesting as well, because they are friends from way back in the day. Robert Downey Jr. actually asked for, it was during his Oscar speech. It's like, hey, guys, I know there's a lot of you guys in the room right now, but old Melie Mel, he was whiling, but come on.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Yeah, I forget what film it was. There's some film I think Gibson was producing and he paid the insurance because the studio didn't want pay the the Downey insurance because he might go full downy. Sure. Yeah. And yeah. But Robert Downey Jr.,
Starting point is 00:08:04 I think he's a lot more conservative than people realize. I've heard little things he said like when he's in prison. He was like, you learn a lot about race when you're in prison. Yeah, it's hard to be a liberal when you come out of prison, you know?
Starting point is 00:08:16 Wow. Yeah. That's interesting. And he's not wrong. Talk about Iron Man. I don't want to... Yeah. Iron man.
Starting point is 00:08:23 Iron black man. I mean, the thing is, about prison, especially in America, they are all segregated by race, basically, in the courtyards, you know? That's just a state of mind. But they all keep
Starting point is 00:08:37 everybody's in their own little... That's just because they haven't tried to branch out, you know? All the things is one, you know, one skinhead to go over with a little flower to the black panter guys and be like, here you go, and they'll start kissing. Okay. Kissing a man.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Kissing on me. Touching his, touching his, licking his booty. By anyway, so Jonathan Majors went to be the next big star and people like, he wasn't just like a guy who's like, yeah, he's big and strong. He was good. He can act, you know? People said
Starting point is 00:09:08 he was way better than Michael B. Jordan and Creed Tree. Magazine Dreams, that film apparently is amazing. Yeah, I've heard he's like... He plays like a proper down, disabled person, you know? Is he disabled? I thought he was just like... Or he's got a lisp or something else.
Starting point is 00:09:23 He's like, he's mentally ill. I think he's kind of like maybe schizophrenic or something and he's just obsessed with getting big, you're getting ripped. No, I think he's like a proper like simple jacket. Oh, maybe, maybe. I haven't seen it. Me, me, me, me, me, me.
Starting point is 00:09:36 I'm a bit of an actor as well, you know. That's me. I'll give you my left foot, you know. Brian, that's your right foot. You're doing it wrong again. I'm rubbing my head like, oh, my foot hurts. So he's the star of this film, in quotation marks.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Yeah. And I thought it would be a very stupid film where a plot is, terrorists take over a college full of libs. And Jonathan Major's same today. Johnton Major is in this film for about 10 minutes. Oh shit. It is a rip-off. Like, if I paid for this, I would be...
Starting point is 00:10:15 I wanted Kang. Yes. You don't get Kang at all. Okay. What to do is that I'm at the start and the end, and the middle, it's all white guys. Wacky white guys. Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Yeah. Wacky young white guys Doing like wacky like Oh oh Like you know Like you know way you love Ryan Reynolds No Well imagine him but he's like
Starting point is 00:10:36 Hey look this camel fucker Oh Now you love it Wow So it starts off It's Johnson Majors And they're in like a nondescript Desert country
Starting point is 00:10:46 Okay Probably just you know Just that they drove out in California To film this story Yeah Arizona maybe And there's Abdu Akbar Islam Okay
Starting point is 00:10:56 He's like in a little fort, basically a little house, okay? And him and his friend are in the seals, and they've got to go in and take him out. Oh, right. And he's got a white friend, okay, his buddy, his seal buddy, right? And they go in his little child,
Starting point is 00:11:11 and the buddy doesn't shoot the child. Oh. And that's his mistake. A terrorist pops up, he goes, Al-Aqbar and shoots the Johnton Major's friend. Then John the Mayber pops them all, kills them all, right? Kill a kid too?
Starting point is 00:11:23 Yeah, yeah. Because he's professional. Yeah, of course. he doesn't fuck around he's not like oh no he's innocent yeah sure I'll call the other one
Starting point is 00:11:32 yeah so then John Major's like oh no my friend's dead sad and shooting that child only cheered me up a little bit I only got a woody from it no full mast
Starting point is 00:11:44 just a little chubby cut to 14 years later okay all right and there's a principal okay she's a nice she kind of looks like the standard like nice lady you know,
Starting point is 00:11:57 a little bit like a Kristen wig, you know, just like, you know, nice, but like, not,
Starting point is 00:12:02 you couldn't afford her of him. Sure, yeah. Oh, hello, you're applying for the role of janitor,
Starting point is 00:12:07 Mr. Alu Akbar, uh, death to America. Yes, that is right. I love to be janitor. And she's like,
Starting point is 00:12:17 oh, it says here you're from, uh, um, Iraq. Oh, how exotic. Yes,
Starting point is 00:12:23 uh, Rick, my whole family were cute, but I still of America. Oh, that's so amazing. You know what? I think what America did
Starting point is 00:12:31 to Iraq was bad, you know? And we want to respect all cultures here. I don't think 9-11 was a big deal. So what? The towers had asbestos in them. They needed to come down anyway. The Pentagon was too big. But he's proper like, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:49 yes, excellent, yes, I will clean those bins. Great, yeah, here you go. So he becomes a... janitor and during what I'm going to describe he's in the background a lot and he's like putting things in the bins and they're playing like ah lila loo le me he's like you know winking at the camera so the big gossip in the college is does a big get ready to be angry okay it's a big free Palestine march okay in the in the college and they make a mistake daily wire that I remember lady ballers made where the people who are who are meant to be making fun of are kind of making sense. Oh. Yeah. And it's like, you're not doing propaganda right.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Okay. So remember in lady ballers, the whole thing was the guy was like, we're going to dress up like women and beat these stupid women. Because that's, you know, we look stupid and dress. But all trans people do, you know? Okay. And the daughter was like,
Starting point is 00:13:49 Hey, Dad, shouldn't everyone just be allowed to live the way they live? And it's like, get a little of this. this is why I stopped molesting you start talking like that and my cockles floppy your mother's daughter anyway I'll tell you that much fucking mouthy bent
Starting point is 00:14:08 because in this one in this film the people who are protesting like Palestine they're not like we hate Jews or whatever they're just like yeah genocide is bad and a system where one particular type of person in Israel
Starting point is 00:14:25 has more rights to another is morally wrong. Yeah. There, you know? Yeah. And that's it. And it's like, surely Ben Shapiro could take a little whack it out there and punched up a bit. No, it doesn't need to.
Starting point is 00:14:38 They've clearly, they just give them the rope. They need to hang themselves with that logical fallacy. They're idiots. They're fools. Come on. Yeah, I was really shocked by this, because I thought they're going to be proper like, yeah, we hate Jewish people,
Starting point is 00:14:51 but we can't say that, but we all know what we mean. So I guess they were, I suppose, trying to be a bit smarter with it, which is not a good... It's boring. I got distracted by the woman. But anyway, like, so they're protesting this. And at the same time, there's a wacky guy. There's multiple guys in this, they're trying to be like a bit like Chris Pratt, kind of like... They're wacky, but they're competent as well. They're goofy.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Right. So, like, one guy, he's got, like, numb chucks. I think he's trying to be, like, a Danny McBride. He's got like num chucks. He's always talking about like, yeah, if I was in the war, I'd do this, you know, put me in any combat situation. I'd be like, whop-a-pa, you know, and beat these camel jockeys up. Okay. And, you know, all the girls in the class are like, what a D-bag he is.
Starting point is 00:15:39 You know, we, we, he's being offensive and problematic. And there's, like, one guy who's, like, Indian and the guy's always bullying the Indian guy, you know. He's the hero. Who's the Indian? No, no, the guy who's bullied in the Indian. Oh, okay. He's the son of the guy who got shot at start of the film. Oh, right, right.
Starting point is 00:15:59 The Navy SEAL guy. Yeah, yeah. Okay, right, right. So, someone's come to speak to school, and it's Johnton Majors. Right. Okay. And it's like, oh, my God, he's a problematic war hero. He is blood in his hands, you know, American imperialism.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to protest him as well. Could we do? And then there's a lot. By the way, the action kicks off 50. minutes into the film. Oh, Jesus. So there's a lot of, like, the principles, like, you know, some of the parents
Starting point is 00:16:29 are like, they shouldn't be protest in Palestine, because they're making other students feel unwelcome. Right. My hands are tied, you know, I don't want to get involved in this. No, and then the other side, like, we need more protests.
Starting point is 00:16:45 like, the kids are great. Again, it should have been like, you know, we want gender neutral bathrooms or something, you know, just really lean into it. Yeah. Yeah. It's this dumb office politics, essentially. Right. And I didn't like, I was really bored by it.
Starting point is 00:17:01 A lot of just like the kids hanging out and like a bit of a love story. Like, you know, the girls like, you're a real, you're a real asshole. You know, she's like touching it. Because that's what girls are like, you know. Okay. They love the bad boys, the asshole. The guys who like bullied the Indian kid. They love that.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Yeah, go eat some curry, dick wad. Yeah. Oh, wow. You know, he just got away with words. And then 58 minutes in. Jonathan Majors has arrived to deliver a speech What's this like
Starting point is 00:17:29 It's a speech about Islam Oh So for some reason This ex-soldier has come to a university Talk with Islam All right And he says that Islam will take over the West
Starting point is 00:17:41 Yeah And they will come in Not over the border But they'll come in in the wombs Of white women Oh I think he says our women He doesn't make a gender specific
Starting point is 00:17:52 Yeah Yeah, that's better than, yeah. So that's how he says they'll come in through assimilation like that. Right, okay. Yeah. And it's, and that's when it all kicks off. That's when the terrorists pop up and they're like, Al-Aqbar, Death to America.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Sure. Very generic terrorists as well, you know. Yeah, yeah. Very, like, South Park almost terrorist. So they take over to school very quickly, and John's and Majors get shot instantly. Oh. He gets shot in the stomach
Starting point is 00:18:22 and he just lies down beside a tree. Does he die? No, somehow he survives. Like, he's, like, shot in the stomach. He's bleeding out and all that. Yeah, and, you know, the kind of asshole kid who's his son, okay, he's like,
Starting point is 00:18:35 I gotta get you out of here. No, here, take this gun. You gotta take them out yourselves. You know, you got your dad's blood in you. You can do this, all right? Oh, no! And he's like, you know, tripping over and stuff. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:47 And so then him and his friends, him and his buddies, you know, even the Indian guy. even him, you know. So it's even a little bit woke, this film. Okay. They have to take down all terrorists. Right, right. And Jonathan Majors...
Starting point is 00:18:59 Just a bunch of college kids? College kids, yeah. And, but they're not alone. They also have David Lucas. Of course. David Lucas, who's in the film more than I thought. Because the first two scenes David Lucas is in, he's in a little,
Starting point is 00:19:12 kind of like a go-kart kind of thing. He's a college security. Okay. Yeah, so he's kind of driving around the place. like, man, what are those guys doing? Hey, what's that beeping thing in the bin? It's not my job. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:27 It is. It is literally your job. Yeah, no, I gotta go. Look at these Islam motherfuckers. You're gay. You're gay sniffing booty. But then he actually has an action scene later on. Or he gets up out of a chair really fast.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Not really fast. But he actually does have a bit where... He's a big boy. He's a big boy now. But it's a bit where it's a pregnant woman in the college. alright and she's giving birth and David Lucas God help her has to help her
Starting point is 00:19:55 give birth to the okay but then the terrorist comes in but David Lucas he uses weight to push the gun out of the guy's hands terrorist and he like I think he like shoots him uses his weight
Starting point is 00:20:08 you could have said uses his strength he uses his fat ass he basically falls on a terrorist but he's like yeah he ain't gonna trouble you no more he's busy disappointing 72 virgins Oh.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Lucas probably wrote that killer line, you know? He has another line as well, actually, where there's a bit where Lucas and the college students are, like, hiding out, and they're trying to go on the internet to see what the news is saying about what's going on, right? An ad pops up. Right.
Starting point is 00:20:37 It's like, and it's an interracial couple in the ad, and it's like, man, why do they always have interracial couples' neds these days? You know, it's crazy. Although I do like white women. Them white bitches, they get funky with us. Because you can beat up a bad bitch And they do not Because you see a clip where he's talking about
Starting point is 00:20:55 He was beating up his girlfriend Yeah he got out of the shower And he choked her so much He thought he killed her Yeah But then he didn't And then she regained consciousness And he's like
Starting point is 00:21:04 Now what did you learn bitch Don't mouth off again Or something to that effect And Benchie Ferro watch this It's like yes He's great That is the guy The only black guy I like
Starting point is 00:21:13 How is he an act? You know what I will say this David Lucas is not shitting this because he's playing a big fat black man. Well, okay. And that's like, he's been practicing. Could Daniel Day Lewis do that? I'd like to see it.
Starting point is 00:21:30 He's just like, he's not overdue. He's like, man, that's crazy. Even like when it's all kicking off, he's like, well, man, there's terrorists around here. We gotta go. Damn, it's popping off. I thought I was at the cookout. Yeah. Whereas like the white guy leads and the white girl leads have to do a lot like, oh no, they're going to take over to school
Starting point is 00:21:49 unless we all those innocent lives. They're really going for it. This is their big break. They're not very good. And if you're wondering what's happening with the terrorists, they've taken all the students and the teachers and all that into the main hall. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:06 And for some reason now, I don't know what this means now, they make all the women wear hijabs. Oh. And it's like, okay, that makes sense, all right? But they make all the men get naked. Uh-huh. Yeah. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:18 What are the same there, you know? Is this a common practice in Islam? Probably, yeah. I haven't read the book, but I'm going to assume it is, yeah. I'm an expert now, I've seen this. And then they make all the men, like, in Devin, you know, they're like in a chair and they're like, you know, they're filming them. And they're all like, I want to say that I reject America and I love Islam land or wherever these terrorists are from. They don't really go with details, you know.
Starting point is 00:22:42 And America's wars are unjust and 9-11 was great. And I love Heistan Pike or, you know, they can say all that. A San Monage didn't lie. He told the truth. And then what happens the next day? A lot of it, though, is sneaking around. Do they kill? Do the terrorists kill people?
Starting point is 00:23:01 They kill a few people now. And I'll tell you what, I've seen the clip already, you know, so the fun was gone. But, like, they do have a bit where there's two people who are, like, pro-Palestine, they're like, hey, this is great. You guys are, like, fighting the white supremacy, you know? They're like, yes, that's true. And then like they're talking, they're on the roof, okay, looking over. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:23:23 And they're like, yes, now you will become good Muslims like us. And you will, you know, you miss, you, sir, you will take a wife and make Muslim children. And you will take husband, have Muslim children. And the guy's like, um, that's going to be an issue because I'm gay. Oh, are you? And he just kicks him off the roof. Oh. Jeez.
Starting point is 00:23:46 In a bit that I feel like, uh, I feel like if you watch this. this with a daily wire to be cheering for this you know? Like, I don't think they get why this is bad, you know? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:23:55 and the woman, like, that's what I mean, like, it's not funny enough or, like the woman bitch, like, oh no, I don't kill gay people.
Starting point is 00:24:03 You have betrayed us. And they like slice her throat. Oh. And she bleeds out. And it's like, it's kind of unpleasant. I will say it's unpleasant. It's interesting at least,
Starting point is 00:24:12 you know? Yeah, yeah. But I must say this directed very boringly. Okay. It made me think of, you know, the paintball episode's community.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Yeah. Imagine that, but it's like really badly done. Like really bad. Like what you think the community episodes should look like with no budget and no time. Right, right, right. Like, it's very boringly done.
Starting point is 00:24:30 And they do a weird thing where about 10 minutes left, John to Major shows up again. Okay. He's just healed. Yeah. He managed to sneak off and like, I know. I had some elk meat and now I'm fine.
Starting point is 00:24:41 So he... I had some Ivermectin from Joe Rogan and now I'm healed. Yeah. So he pops back up and he's like, he got some good. guns here. Let's go for a big action scene. And they play, um,
Starting point is 00:24:53 they play some song. And it's meant to be like an exciting montage. It's like some Stone Temple Pilots song. Okay. Yeah, but it's like they're playing it. And this montage goes on for a little, like, I think they might have played the whole song. Oh. And then played a bit more of just like repeating the song.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Fuck it. If we're paying for the rights, we might as well get our money towards. Yeah, like I've never seen it. Oh, that was a Shapiro note. I'm pretty sure. Play the whole song and we'll play it twice because, God damn it, this is costing me so much money. never been more bored during an action shootout scene. I was surprised by it.
Starting point is 00:25:23 And they actually have the action shootout scene. They're playing the song. And they've cut back to like, I know, some control room of like, my God, what's going on in there? There's no way. You know, three of them versus all those terrorists. I feel bad for a terrorist. And then like we cut back and it's just more action.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Okay. And it's like very repetitive. And so what? For a minute I thought, did this replay the first action scene? So like it's just the white kids basically killing terrorists John's the majors And they're all like behind a tree Going like pew, pew, pew, pew, pew.
Starting point is 00:25:56 What about David Lucas? Is he popping caps? No, he's lying down. Oh, okay. He's low blood pressure. Oh, I got that hypolysmia. Oh, I tell a lie, they did have one bit That was like they're kind of like meant to be like their action one-liner thing
Starting point is 00:26:08 Where the goofy kid is fighting the terrorists in like the school gym wherever okay And I think he like does leg press machine, he kills him with that Right. He goes, I shouldn't skip leg day. Ah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:22 You should be laughing at that. I should be. Shouldn't I? I don't know what's going wrong. It's my delivery. That's it. You have to see it.
Starting point is 00:26:29 You know. And the terrorists, oh, another funny bit. It was the leg machine that killed him. So he should have skipped a leg day.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Yeah. Because then he'd be a lie. You're fucking one a day, man. Mark. So one bit was funny now. When the terrorists first take over,
Starting point is 00:26:47 they get the principal and they throw a phone at him like get the president the phone. Him? I thought it was a woman. Oh no actually you're right. Yeah, he's some administrator or something like. You know what it is? That's me sexist. I was like, that's the man. He must be the real principal. The other one must have been some dizzy bint that
Starting point is 00:27:01 wandered in. She's perimenopause so she's hallucinating, you know? So yeah, they have a big action scene then and the terrorists they, oh yeah, sorry, I made a mistake actually. The terrorist
Starting point is 00:27:17 main demand is they want to release the head terrorist who's in a prison in America and then they want a chopper to get out of there okay so the American government because they're you know like oh god we've got to appease the terrorists you know they bring the guy to the college the head of ISIS or ever okay
Starting point is 00:27:34 but then John the Major is like you know what here's our deal and he just goes up and shoots the guy in the head oh one terrorist as well he's funny he's like yeah you will not kill me Johnton Majors because that is not the way of America, you believe in due process and abortion
Starting point is 00:27:51 and climate change. Ha, ha, ha. Then John and Major pops him as well. You obviously don't read TMZ, bitch. He ain't the one to fuck with. And then oh, they have a very funny bit now. We're the goofy guy. He
Starting point is 00:28:06 sacrifices himself. Wink, wink. It's the hot girl, okay? He jumps from his bullet and he's like, oh God, I'm dying. Oh, I love you. I shouldn't have been such a jerk to Cindy? Oh, but I'm going now. Hey, Chad, aren't you wearing a bulletproof vest? Uh-oh. How embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Don't fucking correct me. No, I didn't... It went through the vest and I'm dying right now. There were super bullets. Bitch. Yeah. Yeah. But then she's like, you know what? He's like, no, no, what I meant is, hey, it's okay. And she kisses him.
Starting point is 00:28:43 And they have a big kiss, you know? And even though lots of people have died and all that, no one's. because young love. Okay. And Johnton Major's like watching over. I'm like, yeah. Yeah, get it, boy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Save some for me. And that's it. So, do they defeat the terrorists then? Probably, they don't really go into that. Oh, okay. They must have. They must do. You probably did, but you kind of...
Starting point is 00:29:06 I was so distracted by Young Love. I was like, oh, some did that'll be me. Maybe if I get shot. Yeah, that was, it was not very entertaining. Sounds pretty terrible. terrible, to be honest. No, I do want to watch. Someone did recommend a film called
Starting point is 00:29:20 Delta Force. Okay. And I think it is, I don't know if it's John Claude Van Dam or Stephen Seagal, but Robert Forrester plays the head of the PLO. Really?
Starting point is 00:29:33 Yeah, Robert Forrester is like, yeah, I'm a fucking Palestinian. Death to America. That's great. I've never heard of it. Yeah, I'm going to, that would be good. Apparently that's actually entertaining, which is what you want. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:47 I'm just looking at my notes. now, see if I missed anything. No, we're never talking about our old carrot top. How's he doing? He isn't dead. He's not dead. I know that much. I do know. Tried to kill himself. Yeah. Do we know how he tried? No, they don't reveal that yet. Okay.
Starting point is 00:30:04 I do know, I listen to Legion of Skanks. Okay. And Steve Ranazizi says that he was meant to do an ad with Carrot Top. Now it's not. Okay. Well, for better help. Yeah, so he was getting extortion. Apparently there was a sex tape
Starting point is 00:30:20 Of him banging a young lad or something No, I'm always very dubious These claims, you know? It's like Doing Cornell at the moment, you know? It's like What's your theory on that? There was carrot top during that No, I think it was like, wasn't it Like he just gave the 19 year old's
Starting point is 00:30:40 Alcohol? Pretty sure he fucked him. I'm pretty sure there was mention of a sex tape. I don't think I haven't read the story, so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. I don't think he would have tried to kill himself if the only allegation was you gave him a bud light you know
Starting point is 00:30:55 given non-alcoholic yeah I'm pretty sure like the guy was 19 so that's legal now Caratop is 60 so it's a little whatever but it's not illegal but yeah but I don't know the fact that he tried to kill himself I have to think that there's got to be
Starting point is 00:31:10 something it's a pretty dull weird life he must live because he performs in the hotel he lives in the hotel as well in Vegas yeah yeah And he's just doing the same. He's one of those guys, you know, those comedians, they got their act and then do that for like years.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Like, Glenn was like that. Yeah. It's my act. I'll do this for the next 30 years. Yeah, yeah. No need to ever change it. Well, I think, you know, because it's props as well, if you build a prop, you're going to use it more than once, you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I'm being a real asshole. It's like, yeah, it's just props doing the same shit, you know. I like Carrotup. I haven't seen more than like two seconds of them, really. That's all I need to know he's a genius. I think did he have like a special like did he do like
Starting point is 00:31:53 traditional specials like in 2003 I think he did like a live in Vegas never watched it but you know Oh wait I did I saw him on Kill Tony
Starting point is 00:32:02 Okay It's not a good example No Anyone really No Yeah But he tried to kill himself But he's on the mend
Starting point is 00:32:10 Yeah the Cornell Rape case That's everywhere now Everyone's talking about it You know No one's talking about The paper Oh
Starting point is 00:32:19 Yeah, I'm going to steer away from the Cornell rape thing, you know? Okay. Oh, what are you going to say about that, yeah? Justice for the men! I'm glad I didn't hear me in this soundproof booth. Yeah, so I'm going to talk about the paper instead. A bit more crack, all right? Well.
Starting point is 00:32:37 So the paper is back for season two, the office spin-off. You know the paper I described it before. Donald Gleason. Yeah. and it's I will say there's a good show in there because I'm a simple guy you know you got Donald Gleason
Starting point is 00:32:54 you got Tim Key you got John Lovett's Andy Richter I mean like come on now yeah it's got the mockumentary format which is as fresh as it's ever been you know he's looking at the camera
Starting point is 00:33:07 oh my God in this one I always kind of think it's funny how sometimes they try and explain because you know the way like a lot of these shows there's no way the camera would be there They don't even bother to try to explain it.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Like modern family. Yeah, they don't even bother to explain it. That's the worst example, I think. We're literally like, there's some mockumentary that like dream sequences and stuff, you know, they're still looking in the camera. Yeah. With this one they try to explain it a bit where Donald Gleason
Starting point is 00:33:28 goes off with his bow, his, uh, his honey boo, his girlfriend, all right? And they have a whole thing where they're trying to get away from the cameras. And the camera crew put cameras in like robots and have them like following them around and like sneaking around the look into windows. You can't do that. It's quite invasive.
Starting point is 00:33:46 you? Well... If I get arrested for that, I'm like, well, the paper defence, Your Honor, do it with Donald Gleason, that's why there's a camera in her shampoo bottle. Yeah. Donald Gleason will be a character witness for you. I don't know why I'm here. I don't know this guy at all.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Yeah, the plot is Donald Glees is running a paper in Toledo, I think somewhere in America. And it's like a wacky cast of characters that are too wacky. They're very stupid characters. Is he doing an American accent?
Starting point is 00:34:17 He is, yeah. Is it good? It is, yeah. He's very good in it. Good, good. His dad can't really do accents. No disrespect to him, but... What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:34:26 Brendan Gleeson. It's great, yeah. Lake Placid. Yeah, it's great. Right, right, yeah, I'm from fucking Tennessee, what? You never been tennis,
Starting point is 00:34:33 he means that's what they sound like, yeah? Fucking rapid boys in Tennessee, yeah. He's bleeding cracks in the water there, pal, what? Anyway. Look at me bleeding ma. So, So he
Starting point is 00:34:47 The wacky The wacky characters Are like way too wacky To be believable Okay And it's funny There's been two seasons now I still don't really know
Starting point is 00:34:54 Who these characters are Or care about them Like they're like When I said they're too stupid There's one episode where There's a tornado And they're like They won the fat
Starting point is 00:35:04 The fat stupid character He's like Hey we'll just drive in the tornado And take pictures of it For the paper And like his friend is like I don't know Is that safe?
Starting point is 00:35:14 Yeah sure and they drive in it's like oh no it's too windy yeah and that that's the whole joke and okay yeah and then they drive away from it wow yeah I'm laughing yeah there's no misunderstanding and nothing there's like one episode where and some of these things I kind of question am I the issue hmm which I never am like there's one bit where the the girls like the love interest don't know Gleason she gets moved to a rival paper he called it the Cincinnati Tribune or something okay, right, and she's
Starting point is 00:35:49 there and John Lovitz is there, he works in the office, keep you interest, okay? And they're like, oh, this is a new addition to the paper, okay, tell us a fun fact about yourself. She's like, oh, fun fact, oh, put me on the spot, ha ha. Well, I actually had a DNA test there, a 23 and me,
Starting point is 00:36:07 and it turns out I have a higher than average percentage of a Neanderthal DNA. Okay. Right, she says that, and people in the office, like, like that. And I was like, oh, did she say them offensive or something? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:21 And then they keep bullying her because of this later on. And they keep like leaving rocks at our desk and go like, Oh, yeah, you can play those rocks. Look, it's Captain Cavecunt. They don't even say something clever like that. Oh, well, thank you. Thank you. Yeah, it's like, hey, look, there's some rocks. Yeah, you can make some fire with that.
Starting point is 00:36:39 And then at the end of the episode, he goes like, yeah, you know what, maybe I am a caveman. Oh, ooh, oh. and they go, you're all right. That's terrible. Yeah. And I hate it.
Starting point is 00:36:49 That was the whole episode. I hate you for telling me all about it. Yeah, I don't understand that. Don't we all have the Andersthal DNA? I know, that's why I don't understand. It makes me quite, it must be like how, you know, like someone who's like Spanish watches peep show and like,
Starting point is 00:37:04 I don't know what's, who's Clarkson, you know, they don't fully get what's going on. Yeah. This is how I feel. What is the BNP? Why is it so bad? Yeah, but yeah, I can't think
Starting point is 00:37:16 if any else talk about the paper. It's funny, I watch 10 episodes. Jesus Christ. When do you do these things to yourself? Well, I mean, it's simple to watch and there is some funny bits in it. You know, you have Tim Key there. What does he do?
Starting point is 00:37:28 He's like the... He plays the guy... Is he like the Dwight character? No, no, no. He's much cooler than that, okay? He basically plays like the action hero. That all the chicks want to bang. No, from reason the show they have him
Starting point is 00:37:41 as like the character that women don't want the bang. Somebody's made a mistake there. Same with John Lovitz. And John Lovitz in the show I'm playing like the old guy just kind of like a creepy, gross fat cunt. No, wrong.
Starting point is 00:37:53 He should be, he's like the Jacob Allorty, you know? Hey, yeah. I want some Neanderthal DNA. Oh, you know what we ever talked about actually? Real quick. We last time, you know what our big party before we left the house, the final time?
Starting point is 00:38:11 No? Yeah, remember, you drank some cans me watch crazy rich Asians. Oh yes. That was a great night. That was a great way to cap it all, our journey. The perfect aim. And well, you get a little invested, where are you?
Starting point is 00:38:24 Crazy rich Asians. I'll be honest, I'm not afraid to admit it. I was a little bit invested. I was like, oh, no, they're not going to get together. Okay. Because I liked it. Do you like it? No.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Why? Well, you couldn't fucking, you know, you were like, what's that? Who's that? Is that Bobby Lee? Is that Bobby Lee? Why are all these delivery drivers have a... What's going on here? Yeah, that's me, is it?
Starting point is 00:38:50 I know, because they're rich, and I don't like rich people. What? You probably loved it, you know? I could relate to a lot. Substitute Asia with Carlow, exact same thing. Yeah, I liked it now. Basically, this woman falls in love with a very rich crazy Asian. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:09 And then they bring over it. It's kind of like a class system that we wouldn't know about, you know. It's kind of like, you know, Monaghan in Dublin. Right. Because she's like a different type of Asian, so they all look down on her. Okay. And then the mother is like, you're not good enough to marry my son. Come on, that was devastating.
Starting point is 00:39:24 I guess, I mean. Remember that? Doesn't every mother say that, though, you know? I actually had a mother one time. I just know it turned the lights off. And that the, like, they can't go home until we leave. Is that it? Like, they want to go home and spend time with their families.
Starting point is 00:39:43 cleaning lady. We're talking about crazy rich Asians. I keep spilling coffee in the floor like, yeah, pick that up. Not wipe it, pick it up. Clean it up with your mouth. Wait, what did they do to this mother? I was dating the girl one time, all right? And the mother
Starting point is 00:39:59 listened to the podcast. What? Listen to the podcast. The mother of the girl you were going on with? Yeah, listen to the podcast, yeah. Really? Yeah, and she's like, oh, you're going to talk about invasion of the body snatchers, are you? Oh! Yeah, I was like, oh, you listened, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:13 and she was like oh you like it yeah she didn't respond oh yeah I was like oh yeah yeah yeah team James or team Brian I'm team chemical castration yeah I didn't like I didn't like that woman no no she mentioned it a few times it was like weird like almost like oh you think you're like making fun of me are you
Starting point is 00:40:37 I wears a badge of honor right she'd be like you know it's a bit late there's like oh you're going off to record your podcast again Oh God You're just jealous I get to record With James Cat
Starting point is 00:40:49 In a box In the modern enterprise office You don't cut I'm living a life You could only dream of And Did the daughter Not go
Starting point is 00:41:01 Mom stop bullying Brian About his podcast No no She was worse Yeah She's like yeah Get him Ma Oh my God
Starting point is 00:41:08 That's horrible Where is the dad He hanged himself In the shade he just bought new podcast equipment and he was like yeah you're right yeah Brian is a nerd
Starting point is 00:41:19 no one wants to do it we could do a crossover episode not that'll be gay I hope you gave her daughter an STD and left that would be a dish best serve cold
Starting point is 00:41:34 um you ever have people in your real life listen to the podcast I actually find it like a bit like yeah I've had that yeah like in Satanta there'd be a few people who's like, oh, listen to your podcast.
Starting point is 00:41:47 You're a mental. Yeah. I was like, oh, they're probably retarded. Like, they don't understand that kind of levels were on here. I remember Joe McGocken, who's quite, you know, famous now, but he was like, yeah, I listen to your podcast. Jesus, you have some bold tongues on you. I think that was meant because we say wild shit. No, we don't.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Well, we can't. No, we don't. We say what the common man in the building site says. Okay. Yeah. And it's like that's, Joe McLaughin, is that, what's the name? McGuckin.
Starting point is 00:42:17 He's a, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he's a, he, he, he's a, he, he, he's a, he, he's a, he, he's, he, he's, he's, he, he's, he, he's, he, he, he's, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he asked me in a few things, uh, a long time ago, don't, don't, don't really get the phone calls any more, though, though. He'd be proactive, go to him. Nah. No, go, you know where he lives? Uh, no. that's your first mistake he moved so don't worry
Starting point is 00:42:46 yeah no let's not besmirch poor Joe oh no no I don't want to ruin your relationship with him I mean I'm not jealous
Starting point is 00:42:55 I'm not fucking jealous yeah you go you go marry him but yeah it's weird when people like because I have friends
Starting point is 00:43:02 from like lads I grew up with that listen to it but that's okay because I know they're degenerates as well one thing I've heard a few people say
Starting point is 00:43:09 is they're like oh he listened to the early episodes, in this sense of the newer episodes, alright? You seem more confident, Brian, and your voice is really different. In the older ones? Yeah, that's what they say, yeah. Oh.
Starting point is 00:43:22 Yeah. Like, in a good way? And what, what are they saying, I've beat it out of you? I've made you small, and you're like a battered housewife now that I go to scratch my head and you flinch, you know? And the Erniptoes sound like if dreams and ambitions.
Starting point is 00:43:39 We can hear the black eye. Yeah. Anyway, so what else you want to talk about there? I have some stuff to talk about real quick. What are we at time-wise? 43 minutes. That's not too bad, you know? I mean, in fairness to us, all right,
Starting point is 00:43:53 because I think we're very hard on ourselves a lot. You know, every time we record the episode, like, you know, we're always like, that was fucking shit, that was shit. I was so fucking, I should probably hang myself, shouldn't I, James? Hello? You're supposed to say no.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Am I? Really? But in fairness to us We're a new environment here Yes And it is very much like We are in the zoo Because it's glass People are walking past
Starting point is 00:44:18 Looking at us I don't sound like a pervert But at one stage A clean lady bent over Oh Yeah Why didn't you tell me Play a cool look
Starting point is 00:44:26 Hey baby I want to be the third mic Yeah I'll wrap our lips Round our lips around now Sorry I keep forgetting That it's not as soundproof
Starting point is 00:44:35 As they've led us to believe Yeah I was told It's soundproof definitely isn't. No. No. Because everyone's walking past and they're crying. Make him stop. Very funny now if they ask
Starting point is 00:44:49 us to never come back. I think that'll stop us, eh? It's weird actually that because I offered to them I was like, yeah, you know, we're going to talk with Star Trek stuff and they didn't know interest, okay? And I was talking to a woman. And so when I went in there, I was like, oh, the thing, he's like, yeah, it's going there record.
Starting point is 00:45:05 We could be like, proud boys. We could be like talking about Nazis and shit. No, we could literally be like, you know, like, I mentioned the Cornell rap thing earlier. We could just be doing a whole episode about how cool those guys are. Okay. How I should really get a Snapchat group thing going, you know, with a few fellas. That's a pretty fucked up story, though, I got to say. They basically advertised it on Snapchat and lads came in and ran a train on her and she was on ketamine.
Starting point is 00:45:32 And it went on for hours. Brian's not even listening to me. Sorry, I was just looking up. He's bored by this. No, sorry, I was reading the book about Ryan Tuberty is. some reason I just popped in on my head there. Okay. We heard a ketamine gang rape
Starting point is 00:45:43 and that made you think of Ryan Toberty. Oh, well. What do you know that we don't? Oh, no. Come on now. He's a great man. Actually, I read the book. It's something like saints and scoundrels or something like that, right?
Starting point is 00:45:56 By Shane Ross. It's a book about RTE. Ah. It's meant to be like the secret, scandalous history of RTE. There's not that much scandal in it. I think there probably is, but... No.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Oh, but the book doesn't... Well, the book doesn't really go into it. I'll tell you the big scandals in it, all right? All right. So the first big scandal. Dustin, the turkeys are nonce. He likes the little. He likes them just as they hatch out of the eggs, you know?
Starting point is 00:46:22 And socky saw the whole thing. Didn't say anything? Put a socky in it. That's what Dustin told him. Yeah, so the first big thing is you're talking about how, like, Fina Fall had influence over orty programs. Okay. Well, that's not too surprised.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Your jaws on the floor. Yeah. So they'd be like, and apparently Charlie Houghty and Gay Byrne were very friendly. Really? Yeah. And it's funny because in the book they print the letters, all right. But only print the letters that Tiberty sent. Not to reply.
Starting point is 00:46:55 So this seemed like it's a very one-way relationship here. It's a lot like, you did a very good job, Mr. T-shock. And we'd love to have you in the show. I tell you, the media are very cruel to you. You came on our show, you know, we give you some nice questions now, you know, for a change. Charlie never really responded Well I assume he did now But he didn't
Starting point is 00:47:15 He'd be like You know his secretary respond Right okay Although apparently Gabe Byrne Charlie Hottie They kind of ruined the relationship bit Because Gabe Byrne had I think Charlie Hotties mistress On the late late show one time
Starting point is 00:47:27 Oh that's pretty spicy And obviously like Charlie Hottie and his wife Didn't really like that Right Fucking bawling shit And during the toy show as well who just felt very out of place. Dusses of the corner.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Which one of these would he use on you? The biggest blackest one at the end there, Gay. Oh yeah, that was his favourite. Yeah, Mr. Motivator is what he called it. One interesting in the book was, I always heard a story that Gay Byrne, his agent took all his money. Oh.
Starting point is 00:47:56 And that's why he had to work until he was, until the very end. Yeah, yeah. And his agents actually think it was the uncle of one of the fellas from Love Hate. You know, the one who gets his head knocked in, he's like all funny and he's wanking. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Yes, yeah, yeah, Killian Scott. That's it, yeah, yeah, his uncle or something, okay? Oh, interesting. I didn't know, I thought I just took the money, he ran away. What actually happened is he was stealing money off Gabe Byrne for years. So when Gabe Burns, the height of his popularity, you know, it was like Mr. Late Age show and all that.
Starting point is 00:48:22 He's stealing, and then, like, the manager just dropped down dead one day, all right? Okay. And then they found out he was stealing all the money. Oh, interesting. Which is the ultimate con, you know? That's great. And he spent all the money on, I think, like, Huckers and,
Starting point is 00:48:35 legend. A man after my own heart, you know? Yeah, yeah. and podcast studios. But that's why, and then Gabe Byrne, he was like, oh, no, my money's all gone.
Starting point is 00:48:47 And he worked it all up again, you know, and then lost all again in 2008. Oh, fuck it, about. Yeah, Gabe Byrne was, like, if he was still alive today,
Starting point is 00:48:53 be investing like, you know, bored apes and that. He just loved losing money. That's why when he was literally dying, Gabe Byrne, he had to write a call him, but it was cancer.
Starting point is 00:49:02 Oh, Jesus. To pay the bills. It's like, yeah, it's really bad having cancer. It hurts. It's not. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:49:08 at all. Tell you now. The meaning of life. Oh, yeah. So that's the first big scandal. And the next big thing, and this is already reaching here, is the Jerry Ryan cocaine scandal.
Starting point is 00:49:22 Okay. Which is literally like a full chapter like he did cocaine. That would have been scandalous at the time. Maybe for you, you know, you're clutching your pearls. For dogs like me, you're like, yeah, fucking line up, pal, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:36 But like, it's like, so a presenter did cocaine. They're like, yeah. And the people in ORT probably knew about it and did they stop it? Or they paid him lots of money. And what's he spending the money on? The thing that killed him. In a way, they basically bought him the gun and put that bullet in the chamber. Right, okay.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Put that gun in his cock. I mean, don't they say Tuberty is a big cokehead as well. You don't understand how libel laws work, all right? Toburty is very powerful. I say, they say, I'm not saying it, but the rumors are, out there that he's a big They don't mention that in the book Okay
Starting point is 00:50:08 In fact one weird thing is The other way Like Tupperty stepped down Before a lot of the stuff came out about the accounts Okay Yeah yeah yeah So they mentioned like
Starting point is 00:50:16 Tupperdi You know he stepped down And it was a big big show His final show And a lot of people Like from all over the world Watch you know I tell you
Starting point is 00:50:23 Tuberdi If he had ran for president The day after that He would have won And people Everyone in the country loved them Right
Starting point is 00:50:30 That's why even a scandal He about the money And all there People like Lost their fate in humanity. I always thought that the public perception of Tauberde is that he is a smug, an eye, an
Starting point is 00:50:41 con, a face, you'd love to introduce a brick to... I hear him. You know, the whole thing were like, so his father was very big and like Ortee and Fienafol. Yeah. And his mother was very big in Ortee and Fiannafall. So they kind of merged political dynasties together. And it's funny to
Starting point is 00:50:58 talk to Tiberde and he's like, yeah, you know, as a young kid and I just you know, I wrote a letter to a newspaper and they were like, oh, you want to have publish a column for us. I was like, oh yeah, okay. That's how it works. That's how it works. It's just like, that was it. And it's like, why did they accept you?
Starting point is 00:51:14 Ah, no, just probably just... Game, recognised game, you. And he never had McSavage on the whole time he hosted the late late show, even though they're first cousins. And yeah, that's kind of shitty, I think, but, you know.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Didn't have me on either. Well, that's even worse. Imagine that. O'Toole and McSavage together, a double act. I recommended that to him you know but he didn't he wasn't interested you know
Starting point is 00:51:42 I love McSavage he's great yeah and you know what McSavage I respect him because I saw he did a podcast one time and he was recording at a table and on a table
Starting point is 00:51:51 he'd little tardis Is that right? Yeah yeah now I haven't mentioned that to him yet that's my card and black pocket you know right the ace and the hole
Starting point is 00:51:59 yeah yeah so someday now I'm gonna whip that out and show him McSavage and he'll fucking will just nerd out and then you'll be walking past like
Starting point is 00:52:05 Oh, what does Tardis stand for again? Oh, time and relative space? And then we'd be like, fuck off. Oh, is it an acronym? I didn't even know that. What is it actually? Look at David. Get him away from me now.
Starting point is 00:52:19 He's a fucking queer. What does it actually stand for? If I tell you, time and relative dimension in space. Okay. And actually, there's a type of fertilizer that we use called Tardis. Is that right? Oh, I creamed and I saw that. That's just chopped up retarded children.
Starting point is 00:52:35 And you use that to fertilize the gold cores. Are they going to regenerate, Daddy? I feel like I had lots of stuff. I got a lot of stuff that wrote down, but it's kind of like serious stuff, I'm not really in the mood. Like, the whole thing with the Brazilian election. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:53 You know, like the whole thing we're like with, you know, what's it called? Jim Cavill. Is that his name? Who's that? Jim. Jim. Jim Caviesel.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Oh, from Passion of the Christ. Yeah, Jim Cavisel. He's influencing the Brazilian election. What? So. How and why? So, come on, you all suspected, all right? So, Bolsonaro, he's like the Brazilian Trump.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Yes. And in fact, he was so much like Trump that when he lost the election to a guy called Lulu, he was like, that's fake. And he got his followers, his followers, maybe got them to do it, maybe they stormed the capital. Really? Yeah, it did Brazilian January 6th. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Which is a more sexy January 6th. Nipple tassels. It was insane. There was $14 worth of damage. Oh, come on. It's quite funny sitting in your little shitbox in moning me. Yeah. Brazil, fuck it.
Starting point is 00:53:52 You have to pay me to go there. What a kid. You can't be, you know, something like me goes to Brazil. Everyone automatically assumes sex tourism. I can't go anywhere. That's why I can't travel.
Starting point is 00:54:07 If I was like, well, I want to go to Longford. Oh, sex tourism, you fucking. Because scum torp, you dirty bastard. So, Balsonaro is, was in prison due to this. Oh. But now he's on house arrest and he's got like a tag on his leg. Oh, yeah. He actually got in trouble because he tried to iron it off when iron.
Starting point is 00:54:27 Oh, shit. Yeah, but that doesn't really work. He's got a hot leg. Hmm. And iron. So what was it going to do, melt it off? That's what he tried to do, yeah. That's, it just burr.
Starting point is 00:54:35 You'd have melted plastic. on your leg. That's what I look like. Of course, does it sense? There's an anti-iron sensor on the thing, okay? It's not their first rodeo. But anyway, so, his son is now running. Okay. Bolsonaro Jr.
Starting point is 00:54:50 And he's like, yeah, BJ. Yeah, BJ is like, I am Bolsonaro. I am my father's son. I have Bolsonaro blood in my veins. So he's like not hiding the fact that he's like, you know, he's basically like, I will do what my daddy says.
Starting point is 00:55:06 Yay! And they've produced, well, I have to be careful my words here. I don't get in trouble in Brazil, all right? Movies be made called Dark Horse, where Jim Caviesel plays Bolsonaro. And they're saying that election money went into the ad.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Oh. So, but they didn't. Look, the whole thing is, basically, the movie's now been banned in Brazil. Oh, fuck, right. It can't be released until after election. Oh, I see. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:36 because it could influence it. Bostonero is a funny guy now. He once told a journalist that you're too ugly you don't deserve to be raped by me. Oh. Yeah. And that's a,
Starting point is 00:55:46 you know, that's a knock to your confidence, isn't it? Like, women don't like that, you know? Sure. And also, he's a bit of a weird... But you know, it's funny then? If you said to the same woman, actually, I'll rape you,
Starting point is 00:55:57 she wouldn't like that either. You know, it's funny as well. If you gave her some flowers, she would like that. They're strange creatures. Yeah. Fucking... If I just...
Starting point is 00:56:06 go to a woman like, I respect you. They like that. And it's like, what do you want? Yeah. Rubik's cube in a dress, Brian, that's all they are. A puzzle that can't be figured out. But I was going to say, yeah, he also, he's been in hospital three times for hiccups. Really? Yeah, he gets bad hiccups, apparently.
Starting point is 00:56:26 He's got to hospital. I didn't know that that was a thing. Yeah, he had to get hiccup surgery. Don't laugh at him, man. What, do they just have to scare him? Dress up as an immigrant? Booh. and then oh the Lulu he's the other guy okay
Starting point is 00:56:42 he's a bit like the Brazilian Joe Biden okay he's like 80 something years old they're like oh you're too old but he's doing what Joe Biden didn't
Starting point is 00:56:51 okay he's taking turf traps oh really yeah yeah kind of like RFK you know he's in the gym you know
Starting point is 00:57:00 he's working out he's got a bit of sweat on his hot bod he's got a great body okay for an 80 year old man fucking yeah I was watching that
Starting point is 00:57:10 I was getting a little bit stiffed up, you know? Well, you're a red-blooded male, you know, it's understandable. Oh, take me to Brazil. I mean, a Brazilian man is about as feminine as a monomanian woman, so, you know. Same thing, really, you know.
Starting point is 00:57:25 Apples and oranges. It's getting a bit dark outside as well. Yeah, yeah. This is getting dark. We're at 57 minutes. Oh, are we? Okay. You got one last thing to wrap it up?
Starting point is 00:57:34 Well, I just want to say, is the guy reception still there? no no i think they've all left yeah i think they're like you lock up on your way out lads funny if they locked us in here we have to live here so like i mentioned just give people more context we're in the enterprise center yes um what did actually do here i have no idea i think this is like a government thing so they have these matt listen this lads okay your government money is going into this podcast gray yeah podcast the immigrants next week ofake.
Starting point is 00:58:08 Hello, he's a bride and James show. Yeah, so I don't know what is here. I don't know. Why are you thinking about a situation now? I mean, it could be worse. It's fine. Wouldn't you like that a few cans, though? Yeah. It was good back then, you know, we could drink cans and you could just scream. Yeah. And I'd be like, ha ha, yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:30 But you're like, stop laughing so much. Oh, sorry. You're not laughing enough. well I gotta keep you on your toes you know yeah it is I feel a bit restricted here you know yeah in this glass box
Starting point is 00:58:42 I do feel it is like a little bit I don't know like some of the girls were walking past I made eye contact with you the girls walking past you know and it's like that kind of like hey you know look
Starting point is 00:58:53 as if she caught me doing something embarrassing who doesn't want me to feel bad about it oh okay it's like good for you yeah oh look at you yeah probably think there's like
Starting point is 00:59:01 a government initiative or something you know a pair of sunflower badges in here you know what I'm going to do actually I'm going to look up what other podcasts recorded here and see if we can get a little crossover oh really yeah I've got a fun you know
Starting point is 00:59:17 well I find other podcasts and be like no I mean there's probably other podcasts being recorded in this little boot here oh I see right little monin you know there is a few modernin podcast I looked up you know okay yeah I'm I've never done that I tell you wouldn't be a handle the mind
Starting point is 00:59:33 I could probably fit in there better than you. Well, fit into this small room. Yeah, you can, definitely, you know. It's a bit of a tight squeeze, you know. Well, any plans for the rest of the life? I'm working the weekend, so I'm going to do the old commute up and down, up and down. I was going to ask about that. How long is that then?
Starting point is 00:59:56 Second hour and a half drive. But you're leaving it late and night, aren't you? Yeah, yeah. And you're leaving early in the morning, aren't you? Yes, yes. I get very little sleep when I'm doing that. Probably get real sleepy driving, do you? I do, yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:07 But, you know, I'm listening to audiobooks. Oh, yeah, I got you addicted, yeah. Why you listen to? I mean, they were listed to them before. No, no, you were like, what, no, it's a book. I'm kind of. But it's like music. Is that a book?
Starting point is 01:00:20 Yeah, I'm not reading it. I'm reading it with me ears. But there's no words on, oh, I don't, it's mental. I kind of, I'm on a bit of a Brett Easton Ellis kick at the minute. Shards. Well, I watched the shards. and I was like, that wasn't very good. Is he not good?
Starting point is 01:00:37 And then I went back and listened. Because I did read a lot of his stuff. I was younger. Like I read Lesson Zero. I read American Psycho. So I kind of went back and listened to both of them. I know I'm listening to The Informers. What's that like?
Starting point is 01:00:52 It's okay. It's kind of like, I think it was a collection of short stories that he wrote when he was in college. It came out. So we did Less than Zero and then Rules of Attraction. and I think the Informers was his third book I want to look up his biography real quick before we go My favourite's the canyons I never read the canyons
Starting point is 01:01:12 That's not a book Oh isn't I? That was direct to the screen Lindsay Lohan's little tiddies They weren't little, they were pretty big Oh you're right yeah yeah Nice yeah I corrected in my head Apparently a few of his other ones
Starting point is 01:01:26 Are quite good Like glamorama the one about That's the one I was trying to think of Yeah the fashion industry and stuff I like his stuff I like it's kind of that sort of detached empty, nihilistic
Starting point is 01:01:37 just take... I don't want to make you real angry. I don't want to make you really angry, okay? But I actually have seen on book talk all right,
Starting point is 01:01:45 different like that. People do say that it's, you know, guys who like Brett East Nellist, that's a red flag. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Why? Immature. It's like, no, like basically, you know, it kind of proves that you're a smelly.
Starting point is 01:02:00 Insel? I didn't say it. Okay. But the women, all women said it, and it's time to make you pay. Well, okay. Look, I can kind of get where they're coming from, I guess. I mean, but, you know, it's still like... Whereas I'm reading high literature, you know?
Starting point is 01:02:17 This earlier stuff is pretty good. Lesson Zero is good, you know? No, I know I do like it as well. Yeah, yeah. And even that stuff, it's funny, like, you know, like two women on lines say it. It's like, whoa, no! And they're like freak out over it. He's got none coming out, though.
Starting point is 01:02:31 He's very smart. sporadic with books. Yeah. I think he's, well, he does a podcast now actually, which I haven't listened to
Starting point is 01:02:37 do it anymore. Oh, does he not? I think he stopped the world ago. Oh, yeah. Well, okay. Well. Yeah, now look at you.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Yeah, I've got nothing left. No, I told you you got Ted coming out the animated show. I, yeah, I don't know. Ted and Doomsday? I kind of,
Starting point is 01:02:51 is Ted, I think the show was good. I don't, I don't know if high hopes for the animated series, quite frankly. Did you see a preview?
Starting point is 01:03:00 Yeah. felt very lazy and, you know, bore it, like they recorded it in like half an hour, you know? Probably just recorded it on their phone when they were parked at Tesco. Look, we're over the hour there.
Starting point is 01:03:14 We're over the hour there. So we're not going to have a big finale, guys. Like, we were kind of off the ball. Look, it's, again, like I said, here here, this is very crazy for us. Okay, I drove two hours to get here. Didn't have time to get food because James wouldn't let me.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Remember, I had a big burger You knocked down my hand If it's still there You can scrape it off So yeah, we'll end it there, guys Alright And yeah Next week we might be alive, might know
Starting point is 01:03:44 Who knows? Who gives a fuck?
