Starting point is 00:00:00 So the driver, let's see if you recognize anything that's similar about this, okay? So the driver is Ryan O'Neill and he plays a silent getaway driver. Uh-huh. All right. Doesn't get involved in the crime, just the getaway. He drives so fast, okay?
Starting point is 00:00:17 Doesn't really talk. Seems a bit autistic, all right? Right. And he's being chased by this cop. He's got this moral code, you know? It sounds like another film that was incredible. And I know you loved as much as much as, I do. Baby Driver.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Yes. Ansel Egort was a revelation. Oh, fuck that film. And I'll defend him ever seen. I hate baby driver so much. It's awful. What's his name? Edgar Wright. He hasn't made a good film in years. Yeah. And I've been defending him like an idiot, you know?
Starting point is 00:00:47 Like Baby Driver's like, well, I can see, you know, the editing, I suppose. Who cares? Yeah, literally. That's the only good thing. The editing was good. Yeah. That's the only good thing. Actually, fuck Edgar Wright, because I watched The Running Man. Oh, yeah. The Running Man was terrible.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Like, it was so shit. And it's meant to be like a satire and such lame satire. It's like, oh, reality TV is kind of wacky. I'm kind of like, can he say that? And what's his name? The Main Star. He's not that great either, you know? Oh, Glenn Powell.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Yeah, he's not, I mean, he's not much you can do with the material is given, you know? It's kind of, yeah, they were really trying to push Glenn Powell. and for some reason people were very like, I'm so sick of Hollywood trying to force Glenn Powell on me. It's like, bitch, who'd be lucky? No.
Starting point is 00:01:41 I like this version of James. I felt bad for Glenn Powell because he's just, you know, he's trying his best. I was doing a mental health check in Glenn Powell. They were bullying them, you know? Remember they were all saying he had sex of Sidney Sweeney?
Starting point is 00:01:53 Yeah. That's a horrible rumor that could ruin your life, you know? I wouldn't say he's shit The film The Running Man is It's not anything Like you forget about it straight away Like it's very
Starting point is 00:02:08 Just like popcorn flick No it's not even that Because it's so boring I felt not enduring it You know like even just like the action scenes It's like I never think he's actually in danger at all Right right And it cost like 110 million
Starting point is 00:02:21 It was a big film And only made like 60 million Big failure Who else was in it It was Glenn Powell And then they have a load of other people So they've got like Oh, all the stars
Starting point is 00:02:32 Okay Yeah, all the stuff Not Clive Owen Well, you'd be lucky to get him They got Josh Brolin as a villain I suppose, yeah Clive Owen, he's the running man Anytime the tax people
Starting point is 00:02:44 Come looking for him Come on Sorry, that's a bit mean I apologize for that I don't like this version of you But nothing else Okay, so tell me about the driver No, I won't actually
Starting point is 00:02:56 All right We're going all over the place, but I just want to talk about things I want to talk about, right? Okay. So I want to talk about House of Dragon. Okay. No, you'll love this, okay? Because it's even better than watching it.
Starting point is 00:03:08 It's hearing me talk about it. It is, seriously, okay? George and Martin agrees at me, all right? It's like sex with a woman. I wouldn't enjoy it myself, but hear Brian talk about it. It's all sticky and disgusting. And I just felt nothing,
Starting point is 00:03:23 and it cost me 110 million. So House of Dragon just wrapped up season 3 And I've been loving it And I tell you, a lot of it's happened this season I think last time I talked to you about House of Dragons I just told you the kind of basics of season one Where it's like Patty Constantine And it's like who's going to marry
Starting point is 00:03:43 He's going to marry a 12 year old, 15 year old, you know Sophie's choice Well actually Sophie doesn't get a say in it Sophie does what she's told What It's medieval times, you know it was a, there were barbaric back then. So,
Starting point is 00:03:59 it's a fight over who's going to get the Iron Trone. It will be the High Towers or the Targaryens. Okay. And everyone's got dragons and it's the whole thing, right? And this season, some very enjoyable things happened. We had big battles, we had deaths, some unexpected
Starting point is 00:04:15 deaths, some violent deaths. I'll spoil it, okay? We had one character played by James Norton. He was playing a little bit of Dennis from always sunny. You know? weird guy that sniffing things
Starting point is 00:04:27 okay but he's also What's weird about that? You know? It's a compliment babe but he also he pukes over
Starting point is 00:04:35 like the sight of blood and stuff Ah right So it's funny He's like the tough Billin okay But he's also like Oh
Starting point is 00:04:40 Oh it's all red So he gets a dagger up the arse Nice Yeah It's like That's a good proper Fucking from the north
Starting point is 00:04:51 And they shove it up Yeah Oh Jesus Yeah That was kind of like Hmm let's try something tonight who are you talking to
Starting point is 00:05:00 my reflection yeah so it just ended there big big battle people getting the thumbs in the eyes and stuff I'm a bit lost now without it but the best character by far is Ulf alright now Ulf is a guy who started off he's just a bastard
Starting point is 00:05:18 he's just a bastard who drinks in a tavern all right big fat white guy in a tavern okay he drinks Legend no no no come on there and he blames everyone else for his problem them. He's always like, yeah, I could have been a dragon rider, but my bad knee, you know.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Yeah, yeah, I could have done the Paddy Power Festival, but, you know, my bad knee. My bad knee and, you know, fucking cons. Oh, you'll all pay. As soon as I get a dragon, you'll all pay. That's, yeah, just keep waiting, all right? Yeah, because it's worth it.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Because he gets a dragon eventually, and, but he just still wants to go to the bar and drink, and they're like, oh, you can't go on. You're a dragon rider. You can't be drinking all the time. You can't be drinking all the time. nagging in the corner. What if there's a checkpoint up in the sky, you know?
Starting point is 00:06:00 Have you any drink taken on you, sir? Shows me now. Turn down the dragon radio there. You're blasting the tunes there. Listen to the, who's that now? The Stormsy. The old Vossiebop fella. James, I wouldn't like that myself now.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Well, Ulf, okay, he's tired of getting disrespect. Kind of like other people we know, yeah? He's getting disrespect, because he's better than everyone else, all right? And they don't understand his house. they fucking don't. They don't fucking appreciate him. So Ulf goes the other side. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:33 So they're batting the High Towers. The High Towers bring Ulf over. They're like, hey, Ulf, you know, they don't respect you, man. We're cool. You know, you can drink and ride your drag and do what you want. He's like, yeah, nice.
Starting point is 00:06:44 And when you believe it, you get so drunk. They're like, oh, fuck sake, you've shit yourself and you smell like piss and you're on the floor. You're useless. Which is actually quite impressive that you shit yourself. and yet the smell of piss
Starting point is 00:06:57 is the more overpowering scent. You can't give a camouflage effect, you know? That's what I do. I have a little jar of piss. This little secret, okay? So then I'm shit myself, he's covered myself with piss. Uh-huh. There'll be none the wiser. Oh, like the talented Mr. Ripley. The talented Mr. Shittley over here.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Yeah. So he decides, he basically is a full-on breakdown. He decides it's going to kill everyone. So there's a big battle. raging and it's like, you know, very intense and suddenly this big fat guy and a dragon comes along, he's going to burns everyone. The other side are like, Orey!
Starting point is 00:07:33 Oulf! Oh shit! And the Oof's like, yeah, fuck you too. Blows them all up, yeah. And he flies off. I presume people probably be angry with him after that. They're all dead, so who cares? They're all charcoal, pal. So I love the show, I have to say now. And I kind of want to go back and watch the show
Starting point is 00:07:51 at some stage, but want to finish the books first. I'm on book three now, Game of Thrones. Oh, you want to go back rewatch Game of Thrones? Yeah, we want to finish the books first. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:00 If I'm, if I'm reading the books watching the show out of order, I'll just get confused, you know? Yeah, yeah. Especially if I'm watching
Starting point is 00:08:05 like Breaking Bad, I'll just get all mixed up. Where it's Heisenberg. By the way, the book, I want to do something for me, look up Ray Dottrice, okay, he's the guy
Starting point is 00:08:16 who narrates the audio books. Do you actually want me to do this now? Yeah. It's not a big deal. Okay. I got batteries for you. Yeah, that's true. By the way, listeners,
Starting point is 00:08:25 James, like we need batteries. I was like, okay, let me just finish my yogurt. And James, like, no, you got to get batteries now. I'll have the yogurt. What's his name? Ray. Ray Dothrice. Dothrise. So look at this guy, all right. Get him up there? No.
Starting point is 00:08:39 No, you spelled it wrong. Well, how do you spell it? I don't know. D-O-Treece. Oh, is it him? Yeah, so look at his Wikipedia, okay. I mean Roy, dotrice? What did I say?
Starting point is 00:08:52 You said Ray, do treas. No, no, Wikipedia's wrong. go down look at Wikipedia, all right? Okay, well let me type in This is not worth it Roy do treas Yeah, okay
Starting point is 00:09:06 This is worth it though Okay All right Not one he's young and sexy Yeah Look at on Wikipedia I'm looking I'm on it
Starting point is 00:09:13 It's scroll down Oh yeah So that's him there Okay So he died like 94 Yeah As he narrates the audiobooks He gets older and older
Starting point is 00:09:23 And for some reason The books get more a more sexual. He's going to narrate all this like really, he's going to narrate like John Snoweating pussy. Really?
Starting point is 00:09:31 He's got to have the character be like, now John, you know nothing John. Oh! Do it again. Oh, I'm screaming. And that's one thing,
Starting point is 00:09:42 all right? But then you have to keep thinking like what age the characters in the books because they're much younger, all right? So there's a whole bit and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:09:49 come on, George and Martin. You need to put this in it now where like Little De Narius. is like in bed and her handmaids in the room as well okay asleep I say little denarius I think she's 15 or something in this
Starting point is 00:10:03 how how wet her mouth downstairs feels Oh the south mouth What? What the hell is that? The south mouth What that sounds just as bad as I imagine it He said the mouth down there
Starting point is 00:10:18 So I had the south mouth Where did you come up with that? Did you? No, that's a term Is it? I think it yeah Jesus now, I wish it was as gay.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Okay. I'd more hear about this women vagina thing. What I'm disgusting as I am. I think you can refer, they can call a man's asshole the Southmouth as well. I like that.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Yeah, let me stick it up your South mouth, Brian. You love it, pal. Yeah, this is just what guys do. This is what the fellas do. It's bonding. Yeah. In the man cave.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Well, the point is okay, it's like De Nerea is like basically rubbing her, as you say, I call the vagina, right? Okay. you wouldn't be a very good gynecologist and fuck it now look at the stray of that
Starting point is 00:10:58 Jesus Christ I gotta need some fucking caution tape or shumming I'll get me shovel But it's her like A fucking hard hat and a pickax to deal with you Love Jesus It's her just masturbate
Starting point is 00:11:13 And then halfway two Like her maid wakes up And just start sucking her nipples All right And this old man's gotta be like It felt so good When my nipples were erect And I'm so creamy.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Yeah? I don't like it. Oh, you do, though. I'm in the car, I listen to this out loud, okay, and my family are all there. This is me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Yeah, it's like pretty disgusting. Also, you know, spoilers, okay. You know about Caitlin Stark, the mother? That's Ned Stark's wife? Yeah, you know the way in the show she just gets her throat slit at the Red Wedding? Yes. You know, in the books, she's still alive.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Oh. Technically. So in the books, she's resurrected. Okay. Her body's trolling the river, and they fish it out, and it's like been two days, so it's all bloated, and her throat slit. And they use some dark magic to bring her back,
Starting point is 00:12:05 and she's just this evil zombie that can't talk. Oh. And she's kind of hangs around the woods, being mysterious. I see, right. And the creators are kind of like, well, we're not going to bring the actors back to ever just stand around and make up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Also, then they did that with John Snow. They brought him back to life. Yeah, there's a lot more, there's a lot more magic in the books. Right, right. I guess you can only really do it once because then otherwise it's like, well, there's no stakes then, you just bring people back. Kind of like all them fucking shitty Avengers movies
Starting point is 00:12:33 that you love. Come on now, okay? Oh, that dog shit. It's weird that you make fun to that. You wouldn't make fun to Prof. Muhammad, would you? Oh, it's kind of weird, isn't it? You pick your tariff, don't you? Coward.
Starting point is 00:12:43 Muhammad smashed. Muslims assemble. Don't throw me in. in a cartoon. You wouldn't like me if you threw me in cartoon. Oh, Jesus Christ. I kind of opened the wind I kind of allowed you to do that.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Like Iron Man meets the Iron Sheik, you know? That's good, that's clever, yeah. Is it? You could get done have I got news for you. I don't know how, but just writing a brick and throw it in his lot, you know? That'll get him through. Or just throw a brick and he and his love, you know? Oh, no, no, come on. You can make fun of Roth Mohambu, but not in his luck. But yeah, so, what? Yeah. So, what?
Starting point is 00:13:26 I was talking about. Yeah, so I'm going through the books at the moment. And, yeah, book three, I'm probably taking a break, though. Go back to maybe James Bond or something. Okay. Because, you know, they are big... I just spoke into the can instead of the microphone. I literally just did that.
Starting point is 00:13:41 How embarrassing. Can you hear me now? I did... I have taken a little break, though. I just start the Black Dahlia. Oh, yeah. Which I've been very excited to start. It's James Elroy again.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Okay. And it's based on the real murder. Yeah. And like a lot of his book. it starts off at a real thing like he did one about the JFK assassination as well and he kind of comes up with his own historical fiction explanations
Starting point is 00:14:04 now I haven't seen the film Black Dalia I watched it once but I remember really not liking it apparently it's very badly regarded big box of his bomb like basically Brime de Palma was kicked out Hollywood and Aaron Eckhart where the fuck's he been
Starting point is 00:14:20 Aaron Heckart Eckhart Eckhart yeah Heckhard yeah he was in one of the White House Fall in movies. Oh, Jesus. And I think now he's in, like,
Starting point is 00:14:31 you know those like movies where it's basically elder abuse? They're tied up Bruce Willis and making him act. Yeah. He doesn't know where he is. Making him fight a street gang. Hey, mind you're gonna die hard to night, Holmes? Quiet on set. He shed himself again.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Yeah, Aaron Eckhart's acting against that, all right? Right. So, yeah, he's not doing well either. but the Black Dahlia I've read maybe the first like 50 pages very entertaining but we haven't even got to the murder yet it starts off
Starting point is 00:15:04 and by way reading the book I do not see is Aaron Eckhart I think Josh Hartnett Josh Hartnett yeah I don't so in the book is two detectives and both of them are could have been the next big thing in boxing you know they did a lot of fights we're on the cusp of becoming stars
Starting point is 00:15:20 and then I think they went to the military and then they joined the police. So he's their tough guys both of them. Right, right. In my head, they're basically two Russell Crows. Okay. Yeah, they're not Josh Hartnitz. Like, Arneckhart, I like him, Dark Knight and all that. But I don't see him as like a former heavyweight boxer. Yeah, I don't see him Mr.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Tough guy, okay? The point is they're both ex-boxers, they're in the police, and the commissioner finds this out, and he's like, I'll tell you what, actually, it's could be good for us. Your two boxers will stage a charity boxing match to raise money for the police and kind of, you know, because we got,
Starting point is 00:15:56 you know, the people don't really like the police because there's a thing where we kill those Mexicans and all that, you know? Oh, yeah. And they're always bringing that up, you know, especially the Mexican communities. So if we have a big boxing match, the Mexicans might just forget about the friends that we killed. So they have it.
Starting point is 00:16:13 And of course, you know, won them, it's Bucky and Blanchard are the two guys. Okay. Of course, Bucky, you know, he takes a dive. He's working with Mickey Cohen. Right, right. Yeah, yeah. So he takes a dive and gets a lot of money to help his dad.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Oh, but it's funny because both of the guys, Bucky and Blanchard, they've both got stuff that can be held over him. Oh, right, yeah. And they feel like he says fuck them in the apartment. Like they'll never become, they'll never rise up too far. Yeah. So Bucky, the Josh Hartnick character, his kind of dark secret, it's not really a secret everyone knows, is that his father was in the Bund.
Starting point is 00:16:49 The Bund. Do you ever hear the Bund? No. So the Bund. So the Bund was basically the American Nazi group. They were the group during the war that were like, please invade us, Mr. Hitler. We don't want that nasty president
Starting point is 00:17:00 and his Declaration of Independence. Boo. So they'd have little rallies. I think they weren't that popular during the war in America. Sure. Yeah. Yeah, they did little rallies and all that. And of course, you know, the coughs had beat him up. And the FBI got involved.
Starting point is 00:17:17 And they used Bucky's dad as leverage. So Bucky had to rat out with those other people. people of being communist. Whether they wore or not, is not important already. And now it's always like, hey, Nazi boy, how's your dad doing? You know, Mr. Crout?
Starting point is 00:17:32 Well, he's dead. I think you know that, Jeffrey. Actually, not. It's even funnier. His dad's got Alzheimer's, and they stuck him in a nursing home full of Jewish people. He could be nice.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Nain, how would you stop you? Oh, you're such a crazy guy. So that's a nice little bit of revenge there, okay? Now, the Black Dahlia murder, I think there's a guy in, like, in L.A. who claims that his father, who was like a doctor or a surgeon, he basically claims that his dad was the Black Dahlia murder. I don't know much about it, but I think from what I have seen, by scene, I mean imagined.
Starting point is 00:18:15 I would take that with a big grain assault. I think that you need to do more research on it, of course. They never found the guy. They never found the guy. It's completely, it's still an open case. But it was a very like, you know, the murder itself was just so grisly and gruesome. She was like cut in half.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Yeah, and also she was very pretty as well. So it's like the perfect thing of like a white girl got murdered and very gritty. So of course, that sells newspapers. Yeah, yeah. People can always like, that could be in my daughter and all that. They can project on that.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Some wacky dame got cutting too. Is this the work of some evil Mexicans? I believe it is. that's Walter Cronkite So it's in the 40s Yeah And it was a huge big thing I assume in the book
Starting point is 00:18:59 And you've seen the film Even though you don't remember it Is that the guys get involved in it And it's probably you know Oh it was actually me all along And it's like his bitch wife I remember the movie was quite like Convaluted
Starting point is 00:19:12 And just kind of badly done And I wasn't really following it It was maybe Fincher Was it? Okay that would have been great Yeah that makes more sense I don't know who Oh was it to Pomp I did
Starting point is 00:19:21 Tom. Fincher dropped out because he wanted more money and wanted bigger stars. And they were like how about less money
Starting point is 00:19:27 and... Josh Harkner? Yeah. Yeah, I think he wanted like Tom Cruise or Dando Lewis, you know?
Starting point is 00:19:32 He was really in for the stars there. Yeah, yeah. And interesting, I think he actually wrote a book about the Black Dahlia they published much later
Starting point is 00:19:40 David Fincher. Oh, okay. I haven't read it on anything but you know because he does go in, same with Zodiac, he really went into the weeds there. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:47 And I think he went a bit nutty as well. He went a bit like Jilln Hall in the film. Okay. He got super obsessed I think he had to stop for a bit. I better make this film eventually. So they act's great though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Great film. I'm going to finish. I'll keep you updated on Black Dalia. It's not like James Bond. You're going to power true and it's silly. It's actually kind of serious. Yeah, yeah. You know, because a woman gets murdered and all that. So I'll take it a bit slower. Okay. But I'll keep you update. Even when we're homeless because we're getting evicted.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Oh, yes. That'll keep you going. We are getting evicted. We talked about it in the Patreon, but I guess all you freeloader the reason we're getting evicted because you're fucking just taking, not paying your way. A bunch of bums. You'll get what's coming to you.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Or you could ask them to please subscribe. No, no. They had the chance. They fucked it. Let me tell you, there's no river long enough that doesn't bend. I'll get you in the long grass. The long bow beats the crossbow. Maybe you should try to be a bit more positive.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Maybe I should kick the living shit out of you. and live stream it on kick huh? It'd be rather fitting maybe I'm the reason maybe I've been like you know behind the scenes pulling all the strings and all that ruin your life or like I call it the landlord and like hey no be a funny prank
Starting point is 00:21:03 you know it's evict us all ha ha ha ha did you do that? No oh okay well you probably wouldn't like that if I did no I might I'd be a bit miffed to be honest
Starting point is 00:21:17 ah whatever it's fine it'll be fine yeah anyway so I I've been really... Acuna matata. That's actually worse. I think you... I like it when you're negative
Starting point is 00:21:27 to know where to stand. If you were just like, oh, fiddly D, I don't mind. I'm like, okay, when you call the police. Hey, man, you know, I just... I'm water. I flow, baby, it's old... It's just a ride.
Starting point is 00:21:37 It's just a ride, man. This is what I'll be saying when I'm a rent boy. It's just a ride. 12 euro. Come on. 12 euro? Yeah, well...
Starting point is 00:21:46 You get 15. Oh, that's nice. That's kind. It's the first nice thing you said to me in quite a while. Anyway, so speaking of rent boys and all that and sex and all that, okay? How was your father?
Starting point is 00:21:57 Boom! Boom! He doesn't need the red boys, okay? They come to him willingly. Yeah, yeah. They pay him. Anyways, I watched last tango in Paris. Oh, yeah. Last tango in Paris, it's got this reputation, of course.
Starting point is 00:22:17 We'll get that. You're honest with you, it's kind of hard to talk with the film and not talk about reputation. Yeah, it's sort of. the thing that everyone knows about it. So Maria Schneider is the actress's name. Yes. I think he was like 19 or something when they filmed this. And Brando's like
Starting point is 00:22:29 40 something years old. Right. And it's directed by an Italian. So that makes sense. Jesus. You're asking for trouble there. Not to victim blame or anything, but come on. So you let those guineas anywhere near you? Oh, they take advantage. What is guine? That's sort of flour. Subscribe to the
Starting point is 00:22:44 Patreon, everyone. All our Italian fan base. That's my favorite segment. Is it a slur with James Cadden? It always is. I know, I know, but, you know. So, what was we going to say now? So it was a big sensation when it came out.
Starting point is 00:23:00 I think it was like NC-17, but everyone went to it. It's kind of back in the day with a deep throat as well. People would go see basically portographic films. Yeah, yeah. And people would write about it, like, the artistic merit of it. Okay. And try, like, well, what makes this different than like Bambi, you know, really, honestly, you know?
Starting point is 00:23:18 Maybe Bambi, if they put some butter in that, it'd be better. maybe it would. So I'll just tell you what the plot is. It's not that much of a plot really, but it was getting to, okay? So Marilyn Brando, he has gone through with a tragedy. His wife is dead. Okay. Killed herself, right?
Starting point is 00:23:39 I think so, yeah. I forget. Oh, okay. I don't really care. John, it's a bit distracted by the rape and all that, okay? Sure, yeah. So he's in Paris anyway, and he meets this young girl, and they almost, it's almost like an animalistic thing
Starting point is 00:23:52 like this meat, okay, and it's just like attraction straight away, and then it's just they cannot stop fucking, all right? And for him, it's a mental health issue, okay? He's just prograp-processing trauma? Processing trauma? Process, I've got a mouthful of butter. He's an asshole full of saliva
Starting point is 00:24:10 and it should be the other way around and I told you that. He's processing grief, all right? And she's young, so for a young girl, an older man, it's always going to be attractive. Okay. Yeah. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:24:22 Yeah. Sure. A 31 year old podcaster. Soon to be homeless. Yeah. I gotta been somebody. I've got to been a contender. I've got a bit on the head stuff network instead of a bum, which is what I am.
Starting point is 00:24:37 Palukaville. So they meet. That's not a bad, Brando. No, it's actually pretty good, yeah. Thanks. I mean, you can whip that out sometime. A nice dinner party. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:45 I mean, no one else is going to compliment me, so I'll compliment myself. I was going to get there eventually, you know. another few years. After we stopped recording and you're driving home. Ah, Cadden, that wasn't a bad, Brando. So, and his thing is
Starting point is 00:25:00 no emotional connection whatsoever, right? He wants this just to be fun. So he's like, no names, no, like, no history, all right? I won't tell you my name. Don't tell me your name. Don't want to know your deal, whatever, okay. Don't even tell me your age. And definitely don't tell me it's over 18
Starting point is 00:25:16 because that will ruin it. I'm processing grief, okay? so of course as it goes on they slowly start revealing more about themselves and it's a lot of them I tell you I was surprised they meant there's a bit where they're kind of like having sex and they're trying to come without moving
Starting point is 00:25:36 what do you call that it's like sting tantric sting sex oh right okay tantric sex yeah whatever it is okay just like hold it and try to yeah yeah so they're doing a bit of that and they're also talking with their first orgasms and stuff okay and she says
Starting point is 00:25:50 I don't even know if to make it this I don't know if this is a thing that happens okay I'm not a young girl anymore but she says to her first orgasm
Starting point is 00:25:58 she was 13 and she was running along the street and it just happened then whoa yeah she ran so fast you orgasmed
Starting point is 00:26:06 I've never heard that now I've heard like I thought next time in the gym I watch the girls in the treadmill be like
Starting point is 00:26:12 are you about to bust a nod are you you're very wipe up afterwards it's disgusting I'm gonna bust a nut like a squirrel on a construction side.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Huh? What? Yeah, that's right. Think about it. I've heard it can happen like girls who are like doing horse riding. I heard it can't happen ever. Well, that's, I think you're probably right about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Yeah. Maybe a Narnia. Horse ride and I have heard that now. Isn't it like, that's why like their hymen breaks, doesn't it? Yeah. Yeah. I think that can also happen if they're like riding a bike. with a hard saddle.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Hmm. Interesting. Yeah. Well... Let's probably move on from this. What else? Everything but my cock. It's disgusting, isn't it? Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Just women. Pretty... Anyway. Well, the point is, okay, they're talking about this stuff for it. By the way, she's telling them all this. He's like, eh, you know, just like, he doesn't, he doesn't, like, talk about him. He just likes this and her, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And he does go to like the wife's, what do you call it, the wake or everything that? She's there in the bed all dead, okay? Yeah. And he does this whole monologue, there's like the big acting monologue. Like, hey, you know, hey, I'm Brenda. Hey, hey, you, a cunt. He calls her a cunt and all that. Really?
Starting point is 00:27:38 Yeah. Yeah, I didn't know you at all, did I, you cunt. I don't care. He starts crying. So that's, you know, that's acting. Is he in the room by himself and her? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:48 No, it's not like it's a little service. All the kids are there. Daddy, no. Your mama was a cunt. A fucking piece of shit. Trash. She was trash. And then weirdly,
Starting point is 00:28:03 I need to do some research here. Like, what is the meaning of the butter scene? Like, what? I think he's just pro-s, I think he's just sad. Hmm. But yeah, he does stick butter in her, and he has anal rape with her. And is it a thing that they didn't discuss that?
Starting point is 00:28:21 It wasn't in the script. Brando just did it. The story has gone a little bit larger in life. Yeah, yeah. It has brought some interesting questions about consent and all that. So there was a rumor that it was a full-on rape and it's actual real sex. That he actually did it? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:39 And back in the 70s, they're like, wow, that's great filmmaking. That's improv. That's yes and. Doesn't let the word no deter him at all. Say, a second city can learn something. So that was like the kind of rumor But like there's another film El Toppo Same thing where they said the rape was real
Starting point is 00:28:57 And actually people went to go see it You know Yeah The morals back then were so lax And so just like Hey it's a foreign film What do you expect? You know
Starting point is 00:29:05 Hey that's what they like you know But that doesn't seem to be the case So it seems like They were aware that there was Going to be a sex scene And I think Brando put the butter in her Without her consent Right
Starting point is 00:29:18 Which led to some very interesting Reddit pages I was looking up. Okay. People are debating this. And it's like, no, you dumb bitch. He didn't rape her.
Starting point is 00:29:27 He's put butter in her out of consent. It's not the same day. That's what rape is. No, it's not. You're obviously not a cinephile like me, okay? Or any other kind of file like me. Yeah, I think if you're putting... Well, baby, you don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:43 Putting anything in there without consent, that is sexual assault. Like, that's cut and dry. Yeah. You know, there's really no defense for it. And that's when you try to bring up the film at parties, okay, people have mentioned that. I'm like, well, I want to talk with cinematography. But no, they want to talk with the butter.
Starting point is 00:30:00 And it's a scene you can cut out. Well, no, you couldn't actually. No, I'll tell you why you couldn't cut it out, okay? Because it does come back later on. So basically, Brando has a bit of a... They break up, but Brando's a bit of like soul searching or he's just horny, whoever like that, and he comes back to her. And then suddenly he wants to, like, bring her out in public and stuff.
Starting point is 00:30:19 and they have fun and he brings her back to the place try to kiss her, she whips out a gun. Oh. This I did like now, she whipped out a gun and shoots him. Oh shit. Yeah, and he's like, whee-h, you know. I'm not very good doing impressions.
Starting point is 00:30:33 No, he's like, whey, you know? Oh, no, I've been shocked. I cannot believe. I give you the butter. Now you shoot me. You're silly bitch. And he goes out to the balcony, look at Paris, like,
Starting point is 00:30:45 me, you know, past sweet Paris. And he dies. He just spat on me there. Oh, but all right. A bit of a Brando moment there, you know. I just wanted to spin on your face, Kat, and your little... No, it's for the integrity of the podcast.
Starting point is 00:30:58 You loved it, didn't you? You're a little slut. You have a little cum dumpster. It's all you'll ever be. And, yeah, so... And the final bit is her kind of rehearsing. So we assume it's for the police over that. She's like, I didn't know him.
Starting point is 00:31:13 He broke in. He tried to rape me. I didn't know him. He broke in. He tried to rape me. That's how it ends. So she's like, she's like, rehearsing. it to the police.
Starting point is 00:31:21 So, I mean, she does kind of, it's kind of happy ending. Hmm. But I don't know what it means. I don't know why you'd make it. Yeah. Because I'm used to, I'm like, you know, where, you know, where's Iron Man?
Starting point is 00:31:31 You know, because I, you know, let's say Spider-Man, okay? Yeah. That makes sense. He's got team up with the Punisher to the feed Gene Gray. Okay. You know, the hero's journey, okay?
Starting point is 00:31:40 Yeah, yeah. This is just like butter and rape and shooting. Yeah. But back in the foreign films, you know, you didn't really need much plot. No. No. I mean, it's kind of one of the more famous examples of like, uh,
Starting point is 00:31:53 uh, experimental foreign film where it's just like highly sexual and maybe crosses the boundaries of legality. Yeah. But people kind of argue the artistic merit of it, you know? Well, I was, there was some bits I enjoy. Like the acting from her Maria Schneider is good. And it was some like, I don't know, Paris is nice. I'm trying to look at the bright side, you know. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Uh, I did watch after that. I wanted to watch another weird film. so I watch her private hell the new Nicholas Winding Riffin' Joint and I don't know how he's still getting funding for his shite because he released Drive
Starting point is 00:32:30 Yeah Big success And before that he'd other films that were successful Did you ever watch the Pusher Trilogy? Yeah great stuff all right And stuff that you can put out in cinema And like an average Joe like me can understand Right
Starting point is 00:32:41 All right He's driving the car really fast So the busys don't catch them Oh brilliant Yeah, so I can follow that, right? Yeah, yeah. And then he did only God forgives, which was not for a mainstream audience,
Starting point is 00:32:54 didn't make money back. Then why do you next? Neon demon. Neon demon. You do something else? Too old to die young. Oh, I watched all that, yeah. Was that him?
Starting point is 00:33:05 That was him, yeah. Again, you can't make this thing like, I think it's going to do well here. It's just going to be like the next James Bond. Which, by the way, he turned down James Bond. Really? Yeah, he turned down. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Sorry, I didn't know he puked here. It's okay. He knew he turned down Specter. We see, so what happened was he does pusher. That kind of introduces him. Then he does drive and he kind of, that is a huge success in America. Then only God forgives. Everyone is like, it's really pretentious.
Starting point is 00:33:34 I didn't like it, but whatever. But then he does neon demon, which is like, not only is it pretentious, but it's highly like sexual, misogynistic. Oh, no, I think it's cool. Well. I like neon demon. I'm just saying this is what. I kind of live my life by Neon Demon. Isn't her a bit where she goes
Starting point is 00:33:51 and fingers a corpse in the morgue or something? You got a problem with her? Well, I'm just saying. Mr. Square over here. You'd be like the guy back in there, like, oh, she showed her knees, so. Turn down that rock music.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Yeah. That's you. That is me. You got you. I got you. I'm just saying, I think after Neon Demon, people were like, oh, I don't actually like this guy.
Starting point is 00:34:13 People kept going, a bit like Edgar Wright, where people were like, oh, okay, that wasn't good. but the next one would be good and it wasn't and people were like when's the next drive
Starting point is 00:34:23 surely he can make you know what he did recently the famous five you know with Timmy the dog and the little kids Inad Blighton book yeah what he made that
Starting point is 00:34:33 he did an adaptation to the famous five for like I think like German television oh and he did that and I was kind of hoping it would be a bit like
Starting point is 00:34:40 you know weird neon and all bang the dog or something you know no it's not like it's literally just like it looks like CBB shit It's like nice and bright
Starting point is 00:34:52 And I assume I didn't watch it obviously Maybe I should Maybe I should get back into the famous five You know But he did that He did another thing called Copenhagen Cowboys for Netflix
Starting point is 00:35:04 But I think that was like Dutch Haven't heard of that at all Exactly And now he's done Her Private Hell And it's got big stars Well not big But you know
Starting point is 00:35:13 I don't know how he's getting anyone To do this shit Okay He has like The Girl from Companion The Horror Film Okay. Sophie Tatcher.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Right. And that guy, Charles Melton, who's a new heart trob. Yeah. Don't act like you don't love him. No. I've seen your bedroom wall. You'd call the Melton hotline. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:36 I'm melting. Ooh. Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen him in anything, but he's a very, he's a pretty boy. Yeah, pretty boy. Good looking fella. I mean, you know, all right, if you like that sort of thing, you know. Angular face. and features all in proportion.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Firm, but. Typebaud, got the pangs and the abs. So I stuck this on. I did go into it with a little bit. You know, I'm a Gertrarian, so a lot of people hated this, all right? And I was like, you know,
Starting point is 00:36:02 I'm going to love it actually. Yeah, take that. Screw you, Kermode. I win. And I was watching it, and it is kind of like a parody of his films. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:36:12 It's set, I think, in the future. And Sophie Tatcher lives in a, I think, an apartment full of beautiful actresses. Okay. And they're all in a sci-fi film. And a mysterious mist comes along. And in the mist, there's a guy called diamond leather hands or something.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Or a diamond gym. He's got leather gloves. Okay. And he kills women. And the only way to the feet is by chopping off his magical gloves. Oh. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:41 And then at the same time, Charles Melton plays a GI. And he's looking for his daughter or something. Right. By the way, you have to pick this up through context throughout the film They don't like start off It's not like Star Wars of opening text Which every film should by the way
Starting point is 00:36:57 Especially last time from Paris You know But it's just a lot of just wandering around A lot of just like you know the kind of like Artsy kind of dialogue Like where are you Where am I I'm here
Starting point is 00:37:10 Are you really here Are we really here Are you here Are you queer Should we get used to it? Well, that's a question for the celestial stars. And I really didn't get into it at all. It looks nice.
Starting point is 00:37:28 And there is a bit where to show like the sci-fi film that they're filming. Okay. And you know, because there's no reality in this tall. It's like, oh, I bet they're all aliens at the end. Right. Not even that, no. And they chop off the evil guy's hands. And didn't, wasn't that plot point in Only Gods Forgives?
Starting point is 00:37:46 They do chop off his hands, I remember. Yeah, yeah. So it's a recurring team of hands. And I was thinking about that and I was like, do I care enough to even look that up? Yeah. No, I don't. I only watched Only God Forgives once.
Starting point is 00:37:58 And I can't have the same. I sort of went into it with, everyone hates it, I'm going to love it. And you get the sense of like, if I love this, ho, ho, ho, I'm going to impress everyone. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:09 They'll think I'm really cool. Yeah, like I'm walking to anywhere, you know, test score, the NCT test center. And like, you know, only God forgives, and everyone becomes. creed, especially the men. The big men with the be creaming. Creaming their little boy
Starting point is 00:38:22 pussies. I was actually in the NCT test centre there. Oh really? And it's funny because I was hanging out. Oh yeah, my friends are all there. It's like tyres. Yeah. Ah, okay. Did the car have to go through the NCT? It did, yeah. Did it pass? No. Oh. Yeah. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:38:38 It's not like I spent a lot of money this week. So what has to be done to it? It's all stupid stuff, you know? It's all it's like, you know, the seat's too sticky. Uh-huh. And it's, you know, I have lots of bottles full of piss everywhere. And they're like, you got to dump the bottles.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Like, no, I'm collecting them. You have to, the car has to be fully cleaned out, though. That's just, that's like, it's like a stop sign. It's a suggestion. Oh, okay. But I tell you, I was in the NCD test center and there's two separate signs. They're like, please don't harass the staff. And I was like, why do they need that, you know?
Starting point is 00:39:15 It's a bit overkill, you know? Yeah. And then in there, you know, oh my God, the, the, the stress in there, so high, you know. Right. And immediately some guy comes in, he's like, oh, boy, no, I need this. And like, you need a form. No, no, I gave you the form last time.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Like, oh, and that was last time he'd bring in again. Yeah. Oh, no, is there anything you can do? Is there anything you can do? You're just trying to fuck me, aren't you? Trying to give him the old last tango in Paris. Shove a bunch of fucking engine oil up my asshole. I wasn't fully paying attention, but there's some guy there, and he was like,
Starting point is 00:39:50 I'm not paying that, I'm not paying that. And she was like, oh, no, look, you pay that now, but you can get it back in revenue, okay? So you just give them that and you can get it back at tax, whatever, okay? He's like, yeah, how do I know that? Oh, you know, you can just do it, you know, just look it up. Can you make it, write me a note or something that proves this? And she was like, oh, you don't need, I gave you the receipt there, just need it. No, no, I need something.
Starting point is 00:40:11 What's your name? Oh, my God. A fucking mentalist. By the way, I'm very sweaty during all this, okay? So I'm kind of a bit self-conscious. And the old lady sits down beside me and she's really hard for her to walk, all right? She sits down and kind of, I think she sniffed. She got back up.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Oh, God, really? Yeah, with her painful knees. Just hear a crack in her spine as she stands up. It was worth it. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, I didn't fail. I didn't pass, I should say, yeah. I did fail. Yes. Sorry, guys, I'm a bit hot today. It's very hot. And I haven't eaten that much because James wouldn't let me. I didn't stop you. No, you do. You weigh me every day.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Little porky pig loves these treats. Your sweet treats. And you give me those dizzy pills to make me so excited. So I'm a bit dizzy. Yeah. And also, I haven't drank anything. It's probably another issue. You're just pounding coffee and the heat. You're probably dehydrated. Is that a thing? Coffee dehydrates here. Oh, I'll pop a Viagra then. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:41:23 Good call. Good call. What are we talked about? Let's see them filming in the NCC now. So what are we at there time-wise? Oh, we've gone under a little bit of time. Is there anything you want to talk about? No.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Good. I've got some bits and pieces to talk about now. Not in too crazy. I will talk with Star Trek if you don't mind. Yeah, go for it. Just because it is the anniversary. It's a six-year anniversary of Star Trek. And the Star Trek at the moment is called Strange New Worlds.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Right. And the kind of gimmick with this is, it's a prequel. So it's before, you know the original series Kirk and Spock and Bowens? It's the captain on the Enterprise before that. Okay. So we started off with basically a whole different crew on the ship, apart from Spock and O'Hura And as it went on
Starting point is 00:42:14 We discovered Scotty And we met Kirk last season as well And by the way The guy who plays Kirk Like no offence to him But you wouldn't think he's Kirk Really?
Starting point is 00:42:25 Yeah He's just not got the right head shape Or anything You know like Chris Pine You're like okay I can see he's like a Kirk Yeah Yeah
Starting point is 00:42:31 This guy he looks a bit Too professional And a bit too serious And a bit old as well For like young Kirk You know Yeah But hey, look, who might be criticise, you know?
Starting point is 00:42:43 Actually, I will criticise, okay? Because I watched the new season of this. I'll go through the episodes with you. Oh. And it started off. I was like, oh, it's all right. And I was like, oh, it's terrible. I'm going to kill myself.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Is that like a Disney Plus show? No, it's Paramount. Oh, right. And don't worry, you know, Starfleet Academy. Oh, fuck, yeah. With all the, all the diverse cast that you love, all right, you know. That's been cancelled. Oh.
Starting point is 00:43:09 And this show, Star Trek, St. strange new worlds, it's been cancelled as well. Great. Yeah. So we got one more season left and it's done. Yeah, they haven't had a good run of it now in the last while. Ten years or so. Yeah. It has not been good at all. But I'll tell you this season. So the first
Starting point is 00:43:24 episode, it's the big, like, you know, it's a season opening, all right? They want to razzle-dazle you. So it starts off, and it's a captain, right? He thinks his name is like Ansel Mout. Mount, okay? And he's riding a horse. He's on a planet on the mission. He's riding a horse having loads of fun.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Okay. And Rebecca Romaine is there. You know her? Nice. Mystique. Yeah, yeah. And she's kind of, she's the number two. She's a bit jealous because the cap knows goes to these missions. These missions don't really seem like, it seems like you don't have a lot of fun these missions, you know? You're not really doing much work. And he's like, okay, well, next
Starting point is 00:43:58 mission you can go on. Right. And then would you believe it? The ship gets caught in a time storm. What's that? I think it's pretty self-explanatory, you know? Just raining clocks or something, is it? Yeah? That would be pretty cool, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:13 No, this is a bad special effect. Right. But to go in the time storm, like, whoa! And then they're like, where are we, Captain? More like, when are we? You ruined that. Why? I was about to say that and blow your mind.
Starting point is 00:44:28 I was just trying to think of the most stupid, obvious dog shit, cheesy writing. And I hear that, I'm like, whoa. It's like poetry, man. Twisting my melon. It's like, Nietzsche. or something, isn't it? So there's a mysterious, I want to see if you can pick up
Starting point is 00:44:45 what I'm putting down, or you can figure this out. There's a mysterious planet, like, okay, what's the planet? And Rebecca Romaine goes on with some other cast members, all right? And there's aliens on this planet. No, sorry, dinosaurs.
Starting point is 00:44:57 That's it. I get confused, all right? There's dinosaurs in a planet. Like, what planet are we on with dinosaurs on it? Earth? Yeah. Yeah, well.
Starting point is 00:45:06 It's pretty obvious, wasn't it? Yeah, well. Did you not pick up on it? How far into it? I still haven't figured out. It's a Jurassic Park planet. So they're actually gone back in... It's not when are we.
Starting point is 00:45:21 It's... No. Go on. Take two. It's how are we? Ah, yeah. And how are we? Not good. Seemingly, the heat's getting to us. I'm depressed. So they're on...
Starting point is 00:45:36 My mental health has failed the NCT as well. So they're actually on Earth. all right right and then aliens show up it's Martians so back
Starting point is 00:45:46 640 million years ago there used to be a civilization of Mars with technology and stuff right and they're like
Starting point is 00:45:54 oh no we can't reveal that Mars is a fucking dead planet because that'll bum them out right right
Starting point is 00:46:02 so we have to like you try and get their technology and not mention anything but of course let it slip
Starting point is 00:46:07 and it turns out the Martians who look exactly like humans by the way and if you honestly, they don't really do anything exciting. It's sort of just like, you know, we don't trust you. Please trust us.
Starting point is 00:46:18 We don't trust you. Oh, but, oh, please. And that's basically it, all right. But they're fighting some aliens. Kind of like you on the dating apps, you know. Trust me. Trust me. You can trust me.
Starting point is 00:46:30 I don't trust you. I can't tell you the future, all right? Let's just say you're dead. So then it turns out the Martians are fighting an alien. And this is just exciting when you're watching it is hearing me describe it. And they have a big battle the Martians and an asteroid hits the earth and that kills the dinosaurs. Ah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:52 Right. And they, oh, okay, let's rewind this, okay? Pretend I just started this, all right? Mm-hmm. They find a distress signal in the time storm. And it turns to the stress signal. It was them. Ah.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Yeah. And then they go home. Wow. Yeah. Incredible. Yeah. And this is what you do in your free time? Episode two. Episode two, it gets very different.
Starting point is 00:47:22 I'll say episode two is probably the best out of the trio watched. Okay. Episode two is Spock and I think a lesbian. And Kirk, Kirk's there. He's on vacation. He pops in, okay? And they find a mysterious spaceship called the Griffin. And they're like, oh, the Griffith went missing years ago.
Starting point is 00:47:40 It's like the Mary Celeste, right? And they land on the griffin, and it's all spooky. And they see, like, visions and stuff. And they look up the crew log, and all the crew, like, you know, they all stabbed each other. A bit like event horizon, all right? Okay. RIP, Sam Neal. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Like, it's like, they all stabbed each other. It's very gruesome this episode. Oh, all right. So, and they start seeing visions, and it taps into their fears. So Kirk, for example, do you know he's a deadbeat dad? No. Yeah, he's got a dad. He's got a dad.
Starting point is 00:48:09 that's what Deadbeat Dad is He's got a son off planet Who's like yeah I'll talk to him sometimes See him on the weekends You know Every weekend obviously I'm doing banging green bitches
Starting point is 00:48:19 But sure So he starts seeing his son You know And he's like A little ghostly spooky baby That's his fear Alamone Ra
Starting point is 00:48:27 Taze I cannot afford to pay Why don't you get your mother's new boyfriend to shell out What's his name Jamal Oh well I'm sure that'll
Starting point is 00:48:39 Last the test of time. Jamal the Klingon. How about you cling on these nuts, bitch? No, he doesn't say that to the baby, all right? Sorry. Which is, you know, it could be more entertaining. So it's a big spooky episode. I will say it's an hour long, both 45 minutes, okay?
Starting point is 00:48:54 I probably could be dumb at less of it, you know? I kind of overstays his welcome, but I was surprised by this bit. Spock has visions and he cuts his own ears off. Oh, shit. Because you know he's got plenty of ears. He's self-conscious about that, you know? Right. Half folk and half human.
Starting point is 00:49:10 He got bullied. Mental health, okay? So he cuts his own ears off. Kind of like an allegory for like a plastic surgery. Or self-harm. Body dysmorphia. Yeah, it's all that, okay. So he can, and then the, I think the woman, all right, she's hallucinating.
Starting point is 00:49:22 She stabs Kirk in his stomach and he's like, and he's like, you know, dragging himself on there's a blood on the ground and stuff. Right, right. And, but then they get off the spaceship. And that's the end. And, like, was it all hallucinations? We never find out. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:49:40 They're like, we don't know what it is. We did all these scans. We don't know what you're seeing. You know, we're talking maybe a gas leak or something. And they're like, okay, we're going to tow the ship away and do more experiments. And it's kind of like, you know, what was that? It couldn't be ghosts, could it? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:49:55 That is not logical, Captain. And then they're towing the ship away, all right? And the ship, the window is like a little figure of a ghost going like, way. So this might be the first time we've introduced supernatural elements to the Star Trek. universe. Right. That's something there, yeah? Huh.
Starting point is 00:50:12 I mean... Isn't that... Would that not go against the sci-fi bros? Yes. Yeah? It's almost insulting, isn't it? It actually is insulting, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:20 In fact, if someone went mad and started killing random people on the street over this, I'd support them. It'd be justified. It's free speech. Yeah, yeah. Yep. Well, so that's two episodes.
Starting point is 00:50:29 One, light-hearted, kind of funny dinosaur episode. You know, a lot of money spent on the budget because there's a lot of time spent on the dinosaurs and all that. Next one, cheap episode kind of haunted house and a spaceship all right
Starting point is 00:50:40 I was like okay next episode I don't know what they're thinking they're like let's do the hangover nice
Starting point is 00:50:48 yeah so we start off paging Dr. Spock you know what was I going to say there you know so it starts off homophobia
Starting point is 00:51:01 is not logical Jim to hate another person because of their sexual orientation Oh, Spock, you know nothing. The folk queen, the shirtlifters love you, right? You get them point of ears and shove them right up the Gary Glitter.
Starting point is 00:51:18 They probably love it, don't they, pal? Very offensive. No, it's not. No, it's not at all. It's beautiful, all right? Because you take characters, you know, and you kind of give them life in a way. I do. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:51:32 You're like Alan Bennett. All right. So, what was going to say? Oh, yeah. So he started off to say. episode. And it's kind of a comedy episode where Scotty, you know, the lovable Scottish man,
Starting point is 00:51:42 is argued with the lesbian. Right. Because Scotty's an engineer. So he's very like, please don't crash the ship. And the lesbian's a driver. She's like, I'm gonna fucking go as fast I want. You see that ass drive, we'll get real close to him. Woo! You know, do a few spins and all that, you know, Skyby.
Starting point is 00:51:59 You come of my fucking driving round here, you daff lassie. What do you fuck you're thinking, you dust match? But I'll tell you what, James, get rid of be angry, okay? I'm already angry. He's like, you can't be doing that? And she's like, oh, you can't be doing that? I didn't talk like that.
Starting point is 00:52:12 You fucking dink, you know. So she bullies him all to, even the future. That's what we have to deal with, okay? Yeah. Bullying lesbians, okay? Some things never change. So there's a, they're like, so obviously they're chalk and cheese, all right? They don't get on.
Starting point is 00:52:31 Lesbians and Scottish people. Yeah, exactly, yeah. Oil and water, right? But then the captain is like, you know what, guys, we've been on this mission for so long, and we've been doing so much work. We need a vacation, dude. Right. So it's a vacation planet run by Dave Foley.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Nice. From kids in the hall, right? And news radio, of course. And he's like, hey, come to our planet. You're guaranteed they have loads of fun. And they're actually in the atmosphere. It's got like a mild, almost like drug field. to it. So even just being on a planet
Starting point is 00:53:07 will cheer you up. Right. Okay. And they're like, oh, okay, let's go there. Okay, guys, let's have fun. You know, one day, all right, because we got a big important meeting the next day with some important delegates, all right? It's not too much fun, all right? It's like, what's the worst that could happen? Next
Starting point is 00:53:23 we know, alright? Scotty and lesbian wake up, all right, in a hotel room. It's like, whoa, dude. In the bed together? No, no. I told you'd put your ear lov'h, eh? You fucking loved a bit of there he, you are taking a ride on my big red rocket, and you're fucking loved it last.
Starting point is 00:53:41 No. Oh, okay. Well, Mr. Trick then, if you ask me? No, they wake up as, like, you know, comedic, like, you know, Scotty's in a suit of armour, everything like that, and, like, they've got tattoos and stuff, like, whoa, what happened, dude?
Starting point is 00:53:54 And everyone's missing, all right? So, like, I've got to find everyone in this hotel. And it's like, every room is different kind of, like, fantasy in a way. So, like, O'Hura is basically dressed up like Bridgeton. Right. And she's like on drugs.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Okay. Oh, Hura's looking very nice in this. I don't know the actress's name. Playing young Michelle Nichols. But yeah, it's, be honest though, it does overstate it's welcome to comedy because the whole joke is she doesn't like hallucinchecks,
Starting point is 00:54:18 something like that. And she's like, whoa, dude, the vibrations are so crazy, man. Where's the captain? Yo, what even is a captain, man? Whoa, I feel the love in the room. Love is an energy.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Like electricity. Maybe the ship could be powered by love. You shut your fucking mouth, you silly country. You're a fucking smackie is what you are. I fucking drunk the e-balls. Fucking poppin' them jelly shy are, at you? Fucking juggie scumpy.
Starting point is 00:54:49 Yeah, exactly. And then they find the captain. The captain's like, he's got like a face tattoo. Basically a Mike Tyson face tattoo. Right, right. And he's like, whoa man, we need to bring the tattoo artist on the spaceship. That'll be so.
Starting point is 00:55:03 crazy. And it's all, I can just imagine that for like an hour. Well, no, it's like half an hour or that. And then it's like, oh no, the space delegations in 20 minutes. We got to go. You got sober up. And the captain's like, whoa, what's a derobation? And, yeah, it's just that.
Starting point is 00:55:26 And then the space delegates come. And they're kind of like, they're kind of amused by the captain. He's like, you'll tell you, Captain, you are very unorthodox, and we do like that, you know. Wow, man. And at the end, this got... And you got that space rock on your baby? I suck your dick, man. I make your motherfuck to see Jesus like you ain't ever seen, believe.
Starting point is 00:55:48 This is highly illogical. Well, if you insist. Actually, do have Spock, the joke of Spock is. He's like, as you can tell, Captain, I am very much tripping right now. I am very inebriate. He just seems the exact same. I wonder, does Spock... cock.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Pointy. He's got like a cat's cock. Oh, it's like a corkscrew. Yeah, exactly. And isn't it like, don't with female kids, doesn't it rip out their, no pun intended pussy? Oh my goodness.
Starting point is 00:56:14 I think it goes in and it doesn't come out easily. Jesus. You do it a stick of butter. But I think cat cocks are very unpleasant. Okay. As if I don't know. Meow.
Starting point is 00:56:28 So yeah, it was just a lot of comedy. And I was like, Oh, God, can we end this at some stage? I think we find out, I'll be honest, I think I fell asleep for a bit during this. I think we find out Dave Foley actually turned up the atmosphere drug. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:56:44 For some nefarious reason. Probably to rob them or something. Maybe to take their ship, but then the lesbian punches him. I think the Scottish guy kind of likes that. He's like, ah, you're not too bad. Even though you're living sin. Even though you're gonna burn in hell.
Starting point is 00:56:58 You're not too bad. Yeah, so that's the Star Trek so far. I'll keep watching. It's only 10 episodes this season. And not to get you too excited, don't jizz on my face again, okay? Don't tell me what to do. Jizz where I want.
Starting point is 00:57:12 They're going to introduce Bones, and Bones are going to be played by Thomas Jane. Ah. It's kind of fun, you know, damn it, Jim. I don't know who Bones is. Bones, he's a, you know, damn it, Jim. Okay. I'm a doctor.
Starting point is 00:57:24 Oh, right, that guy. Yeah. Yeah. Good. I don't act like, why don't you know these things? Why haven't you watch all of Star Trek? I'm not a Trekkie? Wasting your life.
Starting point is 00:57:32 I mean, I am wasting my life, that's true. Yeah, you might as well do it having fun, you know. No, no, I'm re-watched Happy Gilmore 2. I think it was underappreciated by the fan base, you know. Before we go, I want to just take off some other things. One, actually, I would recommend a chapel did an episode about secret societies in St. Louis. Oh.
Starting point is 00:57:54 So it's actually a secret society called, I think it is called, like, the veiled prophets. Right. And it's kind of, it kind of originated from the KKK. Oh. It's more like parallel thinking, all right? Where it's like we like the whole wearing mask thing, you know, and we kind of like our little societies and all that.
Starting point is 00:58:12 And yeah, we do also chase out black people and all that, right? But there's other things as well. Like, I think there was a kind of a strike at one stage and they wore masks and beat up all the strikers. Uh-huh. And they have a parade to celebrate that every year. Right. Celebrate, you know, defeating the evil strikers.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Yeah, who just want. To help the brave businessman. Yeah. all those freeloaders who want healthcare for their dying children. Yeah, we taught them. So they have a big parade and also have a big ball, okay?
Starting point is 00:58:42 The veiled... And it's weird because they're a secret society, but they like the fact everyone knows their secret. Oh, okay. And they have big parade celebrates how secret they are. And everyone in St. Louis knows them. And it's kind of thing... It's a bit like a college frat in a way
Starting point is 00:58:57 where they got little secret handshakes and all the big business guys know that. all right. And they all like lie naked in a coffin and tie a ribbon around their cock and jack off. That's what they do with skull and bones. I thought they jerked off into a skull. No, they stole Geronimo's skull.
Starting point is 00:59:14 Maybe they jerked off in it too. They probably jerked off in lots of things. Because I jerked off in a skull and I thought that would get me in you know? Yeah, yeah, but then your parents said you ruined your grandmother's funeral with that carry on. It's going to get me in UCD. But the thing about Demi
Starting point is 00:59:32 is there's rumors that they're connected to the assassination of, I think, Malcolm X. Oh, okay. Where I think it's kind of a funny story where, actually, no, it's not funny, is it? A man died. It depends. I think, well, I mean by funny is, funny peculiar, where it's like a guy, like, shot Malcolm X and some other guy day before offered to pay him, like, 10 grand to kill him, okay? He was like, I didn't take the money, though. Ah, just for the love of the game.
Starting point is 01:00:04 Yeah, I just did it unconnected at that. Okay. But they have a ball, I mean, with the Veiled Prophet's ball, where it's meant to be kind of a beauty pageant, but the girls don't really matter. Huh. It's the guy who contributed most to the society. His daughter wins.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Oh, I see. She can be like a peg leg with no face. It doesn't matter. She'll win. It's more like an award for the father. Who can give the most money, basically. Yeah, exactly. Who can help out St. Louis the most.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Right. Ellie Kemper won one year. Oh. From the office. And then of course, this came out down the whole big thing because the old KKK connection. Sure, yeah. And, you know, look, I love the office so much. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:00:45 Mm-hmm. Yeah, I don't think you cared any way, regardless of the office. Never seen an episode, but I still don't care. I start beating up strikers. Is it for you, Ellie Kemper? I love Jim. So I recommend that episode. That's really interesting.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Okay. One thing That's basically it You know I'm a giant king in the hill And Yeah Yeah
Starting point is 01:01:10 Well that's the end But sorry guys I'm hot It's hot Yeah And we're getting evicted So cut us some slack Jack

You are talking to town, you know, you're off the, you're at a pool party, a hot tub party there, won't you? Yeah, yeah. Jack Nicholson's house. They wouldn't let me in the hot tub. They said I creeped everyone out. And you're doing gigs and all they're going to the gig tonight? Yeah, yeah. So, you know, just...
Starting point is 01:02:08 I'm trying to give you some credit. Yeah, it'll be nice. It'll be fun, I'm sure. I'll be home watching Star Trek. I did a gig last night in the room was exceptionally hot and sweaty. Yeah. Yeah. I was sweating a lot.
Starting point is 01:02:20 And I think the crowd took that as a sign that I was nervous. I wasn't nervous. Everyone's sweating so much. And I was telling you before, like, you're actually better off kills. yourself because it's not going to get better. The weather I mean, not your life. No. There are parallels. It's getting hotter and hotter, right?
Starting point is 01:02:38 And ain't going to get better. And we're in the farming business, Jesus, like, we're most of all, should kill ourselves. Yeah. And we're lucky. If you have cows or all that, you're fucked. You got to give the cows water. Bunch of fuck it. They're always mooing for more, aren't they? Freeloaders. But they're
Starting point is 01:02:53 government cheese. A bunch of welfare queens. Yeah, I don't want I kind of want to end up with another thing. Do you have another thing? No. Oh, real quick, actually. An update that it's the Claxton by-election right now.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Okay. Yeah, it's like... How did it take us this long to talk about it? It's Nigel Farage and Mr. Buckethead and the Looney parties and Count... Count Binface. Oh, sorry, Mr. Buckethead. Yeah. Idiot.
Starting point is 01:03:22 And it was also, there's Mr. Tunderclap and woke... It's all quite farcical and ridiculous. And... And Nigel Farage. Oh, I said his name already. The biggest clown there. He's the real bucket. I mean, Mr.
Starting point is 01:03:36 What's he called? Count Binface. Yeah. Oh, I got you. You got him there. Oh, Jesus. Well, he's probably going to fucking pack it all in when he hears this. So, yeah, I think that's going on right now.
Starting point is 01:03:48 And because there's like 34 people running, it'll probably take a while to count up all the votes. But doesn't it, like, the prediction is Farage will win by like a huge margin? Oh, yeah. Okay. How do you feel about that, Brian? Why are you smiling right now? Finally, yeah. Why are you a wrecked?
Starting point is 01:04:06 We did it, Nigel. Yeah, when Nigel wins. When Nigel comes PM, he's going to sort us out. Don't worry, yeah. It will be the official podcast of the UK. Yeah, we'll get a nice big gaff on Hampstead Heath and our pick of the rent boys. No, no, I'll take them.
