Starting point is 00:00:00 Hax is back for its fifth and final season, and so is The Hacks podcast. Join the Hacks creators and showrunners, Lucia and Yellow, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky as they unpack the Emmy-winning comedy series. On each episode, hear stories from the set, what goes on in the writer's room, and how these beloved characters close out their final season. Watch Hax streaming exclusively on HBO Max and listen to The Hacks podcast on HBO Max, or, wherever you get your podcasts. I love having other podcast hosts on. I find that it's always so much fun, don't you guys think? Do they help shoulder the load for you and you feel less?
Starting point is 00:00:43 I don't have to do anything. It's great. No. No, but it's always a fun, entertaining conversation. And I'm such a fan of the not skinny but not fat podcast. So I was really happy when Amanda Hirsch decided that she would come on ours to talk to us. She was very fun, very open. We like an open guest.
Starting point is 00:01:02 So Amanda Hirsch, she has new episodes every Tuesday of Not Skinny but Not Fat. So many fun guests on her podcast. And she's here to talk with us today. So stick around. Sometimes when the inside of these thoughts are swirling, round and round inside to join us on this journey as we take a little ride. We'll talk about dogs and kids and things. about chicks and tampon strings.
Starting point is 00:01:42 We'll talk about boys that and me. Because people die. Hi. Hello. Thank you for having me. It's so nice to meet you, first of all. You too. Oh, my God, big fan.
Starting point is 00:01:58 So thank you for having me. Yeah. Thank you. No, we're so excited to talk to you because clearly you are a pro at this. And your podcast is so awesome and fun in your Instagram. Like, we were having a field day just going through everything. Oh, my God. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Yes. Thank you so much. Yeah. You've had so many headlines about your sex stuff lately. Oh my God. Do you believe like I don't know. It's been a lot. It's been a lot.
Starting point is 00:02:22 I was like, oh my God. Is there a podcast like about sex? No, not at all. And it sounds like that's the only thing I talk about. Like I just walk around and the only things that come out of my mouth are orgasm or come or sex or penis.
Starting point is 00:02:33 So that's my language apparently. I was like sign me up. Of course I'm going to come on if that's what we're talking about. Oh, no. We go there for sure. But it's just like it's crazy how they keep. keep just taking these one clickbait lines. And I'm like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Like you're dating a guy they Google you. And the first thing they read is like, well, she wants to get fucking manhandled. And I'm like, oh, great. This is our introduction. Hello. Nice to meet you. Anyway, so that's my life. I'm curious to your response, though, when you see that and read that.
Starting point is 00:03:00 What do you think? I love it. I mean, I love when people open up about shit, you know? I feel like things are so taboo until he's talk about them. So I was like, oh, okay, Rachel. getting a little, getting a little sassy. But someone's listening. I mean, someone's listening and making those, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Right. So that's fun. Right. Yeah, I think it is a lot about like the stigma and it's supposedly like, you know, taboo in our society. And like that's the narrative that we definitely want to get rid of because women talk and just like you do on your show. It's like, you know, like hearing your best friend, you want it to feel like super
Starting point is 00:03:37 comfortable and like what girls talk about or anyone talks about, you know, when they're comfortable. I know. We live in a world now where you can't say anything. And what I want to ask the people that get mad when you say stuff is like, wait, so you're not saying those things. Like when the doors are closed, you're not saying, you're just like an essay. You're talking to your professor all day. Like you're not using any bad words. Right. You're not cursing. You're not ever like talking. You know what I mean? It's just like fucking bullshit. You know, it's fucking bullshit. We all talk, you know, a certain way. it's just who's being fake about it and trying to appear one way on the outside. So I'm over that shit.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Yeah. Good. Yeah. It's a real interesting climate these days. Yeah. For sure. Especially if you talk about sex, apparently. But I want to know, first of all, I think it's so rad. Like, you know, you started out just really being into pop culture and celebrity and like just leaning into that. And we want to hear a little bit more. about your story and how it all came to fruition. Well, it was that. I mean, I look back at it now and I'm like, you know, I'm sure it's for many people when they want something and they look back. They're like, damn, I've always wanted that. But I did. And I would make these little efforts to kind of achieve that goal.
Starting point is 00:04:58 But I wasn't, I call it like the sleep in your car actor, you know? Like, I wasn't sleeping in my car, you know? And that's, I like, I make a point to say that because I know that there are people that, put everything on the fucking line for a dream. And I was sort of like, I was like, I'll put like this a little bit, like that a little bit. I'll dabble in this little bit. I'll send this like headshot. I don't know what for and who's going to fucking want me in this world.
Starting point is 00:05:24 I'm going to like try to write a book and like sign up for IMDB pro and get all these agents names. Like I would do weird shit throughout my life that was borderline like delusional, pathetic. But I would still like live a normal life, work a normal job, always say that like it's not me. You know, I'd work whatever job. And they'd be like, what do you do? I'd be like an office manager. It's so not me though. But like that's what I'm doing right now. So it was definitely delusional thinking like I'm going to make it. You know, and I'm going to do what I want to do. I think it was a broader idea that I had. Like I knew I'd loved entertainment. I probably if you'd asked me then, my dream was like to be on a red carpet and like interview. Which I guess in a sense,
Starting point is 00:06:05 like I'm doing something because who knew podcast would be a thing and Instagrams would be a thing. but definitely don't want to be a red carpet reporter. It's like fucking harder than you think. But yeah, so it's sort of all kind of was always brewing inside of me. I was like, would go with my mom to like a grocery store and you know, she brought me to help her. But instead I'd be like at the magazines, the cashiers would like yell at me. Like you have to buy that. I'm like, you think my mom's going to fucking buy this for me?
Starting point is 00:06:34 So and then blogs came about. So I was always super interested. and at the time embarrassed. Like people now, you know, everyone's talking about celebrities. Everyone's into reality TV. Celebrities are into reality TV. It's become like an all, you know, the royal family probably watches Vanderbump roles.
Starting point is 00:06:54 But then it was like kind of lame to be, you know, that was like what you were into. Like I went to high school in New York City. All my friends were like politically active, literally on the front lines of like protests. And I was then still, you know, I was like, but did you see Jennifer Anderson is pregnant with like quadruplice? Remember when like the news was so wrong? Like they just make shut up. Oh, yes. So and I was embarrassed then because it's like, no, no people.
Starting point is 00:07:23 My sister was studying like pre-med and she was like, you're so superficial. So it's nice that now it's accepted. Right. To fucking care about that kind of shit and get excited about it or get people get so into. it. Right. People spiral and, and, and I mean, people go and crazy deep dives. But for me, it was kind of like when I started, it was like, I'm just gonna like put out my passion. And it was fun to see that other people felt the same way. And it kind of grew from there. Did you feel like, were you open with your love for all celebrity pulp? You know, when you're saying like it wasn't thought of as like, cool or whatever, like, were you open with it and you just owned it? and that's who you were? Did you hide it? I owned it.
Starting point is 00:08:10 I owned it, but it didn't feel good to like, you know, be the fucking idiot that, you know, cared about that stuff and, you know, other people cared about more important things. So I did feel like not smart because I cared about those things or even, you know, you're an actress and like, I'm sure saying that dream out loud when you were younger was like, okay, everyone wants to fucking do this. You know, it's such a big thing to say you want to. want to do and then okay that's cool good luck you know right so i think it's like also how you know owning it and and thinking that you could actually do it because if you don't think you could
Starting point is 00:08:49 actually do it you're probably not going to end up doing it um but yeah when i started i was very just like vocal about my opinions on things i've had to simmer with time because more people are watching god knows the fucking crazy shit i said when i had like 50 followers you know i want to see those. The good days. Probably the good days. You know, if I can't say anything,
Starting point is 00:09:13 be like, no one's going to see this. Today I have to take, you know how it is? The internet is so viral that like, if you're talking about J-Lo, it might get to J-Lo. Like, you don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Right. Not that J-Lo follows me, but like someone could show it to her. You know, it's such a small world now. So I have this quick filter now of like, before I pose something and like, I just got to be okay with them hearing it. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:37 That if they hear you. hear it like I'm okay with it. I could stand behind what I said and whatever, you know. JLo happens to be a huge fan of broad ideas. So she may hear this one. Two things I want to circle back to. You mentioned that you were delusional and actually it turns out you weren't. Oh my God. I like that. You know. You were right. And the cool thing about that is to me, you're an example of like, it used to be that people were taught to get better at the things they're not good at. Or don't spend your time doing this, focus on this and learn all these different things. But now they've really learned that, no, take your strength, whatever it is
Starting point is 00:10:22 and lean all the way into it. Someone else can do everything else. And to me, you're an example of that. Like, you took something that was your interest. And other people, could judge it. Other people could try and urge you to do something else. But you leaned into that and the manifestation of what happened after that is proof. They are not delusional. They are not delusional. Yeah. Manifestation is such a word that sounds like all like, ooh, like you're some like, right, like you're, woo-woo, like you're doing shrooms in the forest. But like, I don't even own a Pinterest board. I don't vision board and like do any of that. When I say manifesting, it's like what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:11:05 It's like wanting something, having the guts to like believe that you can do it, to want to go after it. Because a lot of times people say manifesting and they're like, you know, they think you're giving credit to some outer existence. Like, no, I'm giving credit to me. I did that. Yes. But it's also you have to. I just said this like my husband another day. He was like, I don't know what he was being like a fucking Debbie Downer about.
Starting point is 00:11:29 I was like, if you say that out loud, that's what you're meaning. Like that's your intent. How is the opposite going to happen if like you're literally saying it's not going to happen? Right. Like you know what I mean? Then it won't. And then it won't. But I'm talking delusional like looking back and sending a headshot that was not a professional one by the way to like, you know, fucking an agency.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Just looking back. I'm like, what did you think that they would be like, oh my God. Here's a supermodel. Like what was I applying for? You know, I just look back at that. I'm like, what was I, what section of the talent, you know, roster was I looking? I just thought like, someone needs to. Someone needs to see this.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Someone needs to like, hello. So I do look back and I'm like, that's so cute that you were so confident in something. But there wasn't anything yet. Like, you know how it is too. Like in this world, right, to get an agent, you have to already have had something, right, when you're an actor. Like, you have to show that you've, like, been in something. So how do you get something if you haven't had an agent?
Starting point is 00:12:33 Right. So it's usually that. So it's just funny to me looking back, you know, and then cut to like whatever years later when I get offers from agents. And I'm like, I don't want to give 10%. Like, why would I give 10%? You know, it's so funny. Like the thing that I wanted that I didn't even know like what it was or what they did or what they took.
Starting point is 00:12:52 So it's interesting. But I think it's kind of cool when you're young and stupid. And that's when you do those things usually. when you start at least to like brew it. I feel like now when you're an adult, you just act differently with things. Yeah, you're jaded. Yeah, it's called being jaded.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Yeah. But yeah, no, it's been a really fun wild ride. Yeah, you've had some really great guests on your podcast. Yeah. By the way. Like, I was like, I was like, oh, my God. Like, he spoke to Pete Davidson. I saw, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:27 No, Pete, that was a four, that was April, full the joke. Oh my God. Well, it would help if I had my volume on you. It worked on you. It worked on you. You showed me. It's her fault. You thought that too? She showed me. She goes, she had Pete Davidson on. And I was like, oh my God. Like, that's a big deal.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Oh, my God. That's so funny. Well, I'll tell you guys the thing about Pete Davidson. The reason why, like, people that follow me, like, closely would know that it's a joke. First of all, I really hope to have him. But I have talked some shit about him. Oh. Which I feel like if I had him, I would say it. you know, but my only thing about him is that I think that his persona isn't exactly who he is. Like, that his persona of like, I mean, he's made like two movies about it so far. No, a movie and now this show, Bubkus. But it's like, you know, smoking weed, doesn't care, doesn't want the fame, like lives with his mom, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:14:23 My hypothesis is like loves the fame, wants the fame, pretends that he doesn't want the fame and like, So that's my only issue. That's really the only thing I've ever said. But to me, yeah, with Pete, that's what it seems like. And I feel like I'm spot on when it comes to those intuitions. Just because I'm like, you wouldn't fucking date Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande. I mean, now I like that he's dating that, like, younger actress. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Chase, she's actually sitting on fires, my friend's show. Oh, she is? Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, she's cute. I started that show. Oh, you did?
Starting point is 00:14:57 Yeah. Oh, it sounds like you created it. I started it. I started it. You started it. I know. I was like, wait. You started in it?
Starting point is 00:15:05 I'm like, wait, you're in it too? I started watching it because like Jemima and like. She is delusional. I'm see. I am delusional. I started a show and you will see. I will start a show. But I can't believe you showed me that.
Starting point is 00:15:18 We're like she had Pete David's son. I'm like so. You had Pied. Oh, did I not clarify? No, people died. It was a really good April Fool's room, by the way. That is a good April Fool. joke. I know. I'm a big fan. I'm a big fan of April
Starting point is 00:15:31 Paul's joke. I know. Me too. And I was giving up. I was like, I'm not doing it this year. Like I'm grown up. And then I had this idea. And I was like, but then who knows? Maybe I'm manifesting. That's what I'm seeing. But I would tell him, you know, I'd just be like, Pete, come on. Come on. Do you think he's funny? I think he's probably really fun and funny. But I also think he's dark, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Which is why when he like started dating him and everyone's like, oh, she just wants something fun after Kanye. I was like, but he's also like a little dark.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Right. For sure. Well, you know, the whole thing with comedians are usually. Mostly. Right. Right. That is true. Wow, that is true.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Think about all them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They're all dark. He's never been on my list. Broad Ideas is supported by Hatch. Wait, so who's on your list? I don't really have a list. I guess everyone I've dated probably was on my list. At one point or another.
Starting point is 00:19:14 On your vision board? Actually, no. We just block their faces off now. Definitely not all of them. There were definitely some, like, surprises out of left field for sure. But, right? Well, who would you, let's play this game. You're married.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Olivia's married. Who would your list be? If it could be. What would you swing with is also a really fun game. Yeah, if you'd rather that. I'm not really interested. to whoever is really hot right now. Like everyone dies for a bad bunny.
Starting point is 00:19:39 I'm not really that attracted. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Harry Styles. I went into a store the other day and the whole store is covered in Harry Styles. And I'm like, is there anyone else on the menu or is it just Harry Styles? Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:19:53 True. Harry Styles not either. I mean, listen, I think he's gorgeous. Like, you know. She's down for Harry Styles. You're down? Putting it out there. You're into like the sequin overalls and like all that.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Yeah. I get it. I'm less. Like, of course I'd like, of course I'd go for Harry, but I'm not like, you know, I'm not, I'm not like, oh my God, even though I did see him in concert. And what I actually thought when I saw him was like, he's so cute. He's so adorable. He's so like thankful to his fans, you know, he puts on the show. He's a nice guy. Right. He seems like a nice guy. Like a good guy. Genuine. Yeah. Yeah. She's like zero interest. Zero. I'm like not interested. No, no. No, I'm thinking about. No, I was just remembering his hookup with Emrata. I know. What about that? How do you feel about that?
Starting point is 00:20:43 And I love that everyone just refers to her as Emerada because that's her Instagram handle because, like, I'd never stay her real name. She's Emrata. Yeah. Emily Raddakowkiski. Way, way dear. I mean, it was just weird because he never gets photographed doing things, you know? Right.
Starting point is 00:20:58 He's so secretive about his relationships, you know? And is she supposedly friends with Olivia? Is that wasn't that the whole thing? supposedly they like had a threesome. That's the rumor. That's the rumor. Yeah. Do we think it's true?
Starting point is 00:21:14 Do you have any intel? I'm curious. I don't have intel, but I've like heard it. Yeah, I've heard it from people. And I feel like I'd believe it. I feel like Olivia is a wild one. Yep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:29 I believe it 100%. I can see. And also, I think that Olivia would do like anything to keep him. happy, which didn't end up working. Which didn't end up working. Yeah. Yeah. See, that's the tricky part about threesomes. You let them in and then it's like, well, we already did it, right? And so they just go elsewhere?
Starting point is 00:21:52 Oh, I'm saying like if you invite another woman into your bedroom and then you're like, but no kissy kissy when I'm not around. Like, how's that going to work? Yeah. You're like, we've already done this. We've already done it. It's like when you have a co-star and you have a sex scene and then it happens out of the sexy and upset and you're like, well, we've already done it. Yeah? Is that how it is? I totally joking.
Starting point is 00:22:11 No, I'm joking. I'm joking. I'm being funny, but anytime I'm funny, it turns into like some serious clickbait headline. So this is great. This is great. Yeah. It's going to keep it going here.
Starting point is 00:22:22 But you didn't say who's your, who your dude would be. Because I don't know, you guys. I feel as sexual. No, I don't know. Oh, my God. As a kid, who was your first, like, celebrity press? Oh, Johnny Debb, but like, not anymore. Like, from what project, though?
Starting point is 00:22:35 Oh, like from below. What are you talking about? Oh, okay. I don't know. Well, I don't know what era we're talking. Because, like, I go crybaby, but I'm older than you. You know what I mean? Well, like, of course I've seen Crybaby.
Starting point is 00:22:46 But I would say below. He was like in my wallet. Like, I was obsessed. That's why when this whole trial happened, I was like, I used to be in love with you. Oh. Like for real. Yeah. How'd you feel about that whole trial?
Starting point is 00:22:59 I tried to keep it pretty balanced. Yeah. You know? I feel like Amber was getting enough. Yeah. Amber was getting enough, you know? Yeah, that's fair. She was getting a lot.
Starting point is 00:23:09 She was. She was getting a lot. That was tough. Yeah, okay. Well, you can go Johnny Depp. We can just go with your first. Okay. Johnny Depp is Johnny.
Starting point is 00:23:17 We'll just stay with him even though. But then, not now or still. Yeah. Then, no, now. Okay. That's honest. Right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Yeah, but I still feel like we didn't get it. We didn't get the person. Really? we didn't get it. Why? It needs to be like a contemporary. Who's hot right now? Like, who is it?
Starting point is 00:23:33 Like Brad Pitt. Let's see. Yeah, he's like an obvious one. I know. He's like the obvious. That's just like the auto answer. But don't you feel like the people that are hot, like aren't really hot? Like Taylor Swift, new guy, everyone dies for him.
Starting point is 00:23:46 What's his name? Maddie Healy. The guy in the 1975 singer, right? Right. I didn't know who he was until now he's dating Taylor. And like I know 1975, but I didn't know his face. You know what I mean? Oh, you didn't know his face.
Starting point is 00:23:57 So I, yeah, I didn't. Like, I'm not that attracted, you know? Yeah. Yeah. But maybe I need to like hear the accent, like see him on stage, like get more into it. But there was something going around that he said something like politically incorrect and people Yeah, he's getting a lot of shit right now. For what?
Starting point is 00:24:15 Do you know what it is? Apparently he did the Hitler salute. What? On stage. But like then people are saying he did it because the song was about, I don't know, I think he has like all these intentions and he's kind of like performative and does things in an ironic way. I don't really know. But apparently he did that. He said some other shit. He like licked fans fingers. He's a little he's a rock star. Avant guard. Yeah. What's like, you know, he probably got away with all of that. But then day
Starting point is 00:24:48 Taylor have the fucking swifties. How polarizing is that, right? Yeah. And then you're going to have to deal with like the wrath of real fandom of a real fucking fandom and good luck with that. You know? How are you doing with your position now being that you were always into celebrities and all that stuff, what is it like being on the other side of it and having people recognize you or moving into that world yourself? Did you always see it that you would be the famous person or were you just kind of into it? Like what is it like for you now on the other side of it? Yeah, I definitely didn't see me like holding the mic boom. I thought you were going to like, yeah, no, I definitely saw me on the other side of it is what you're saying, right?
Starting point is 00:25:31 You're like, yeah. I mean, I think there was a moment where I was so despo. I was like willing to work on the other side to start somewhere when like nothing was happening. But no, I did always. It's funny because when I started my Instagram, there weren't Instagram stories. So I was a little anonymous because I didn't post like photos of myself. So looking back, I'm like so modest of you. Like how unlike me to be on non.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Humble is the word. Yeah. And then I was like, hi. got unfollowed like a bunch. I remember that. Oh, no. When I, yeah, but it made sense because it was like, people were following something for like just, you know, at the beginning.
Starting point is 00:26:12 It was like memes and like stuff. And then it was like, oh, who's this bitch, you know? Right. And then I kind of wanted, though, that whoever stayed would be into me and not, you know, not want to die every time they saw, you know. So I'm okay with that. I'm okay with like filtering people out, you know. know that don't want. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, we don't want you here for the wrong reasons, Ella,
Starting point is 00:26:38 Bachelor world. Um, but, no, it, I'm sorry. Oh, yeah. You're, you're a little in it. You're a little in that world, no. Well, no, I, I love Bachelor Nation. No, I mean, like, the shows, I have not. Yeah. I got to tell you. Currently, like, I've kind of teetered off a bit. Like, I watched Bachelor in Paradise, of course, because it's my favorite. But, so. So, Since the last one. I haven't done Bachelor. Now there's a new bachelorette. So I'm like kind of out of it at the moment.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I know I'm lost. I used to say like I'll always watch because I need to be in the know of like these people. Right. You know? The way like I know Colton got married. Like I want to know the people. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:18 You know? Right. It's like how would I know Colton if I didn't watch and like, you know and what's happening with Kailin and Dean living in a van? Like I want to know. I know. I think that I love. I just, I like looking at their stuff because there's,
Starting point is 00:27:31 There are a couple, it's a long story, but they literally just like travel the world. And like it just looks so cool. But she was, she was a pageant queen. Like probably never wore like sneakers in her life. And then met Dean who was like a nomad. Yeah. And she's like,
Starting point is 00:27:48 hike in mountains. Right. And he said he was like never going to get married or whatever. Right. He's now proposed to her and given her four. He's so handsome. He's a, he's like, he's like, I'm going to show him to Olivia. And he's also like, he's,
Starting point is 00:28:01 one of the handsomest. But yeah, he's a very good looking man. He's probably the best looking one they've ever had as a contest. My God, Nick is going to be married you, Rachel. I was about to say Nick isn't going to like that, Rachel. Nick's cute, but like Dean's face. I mean, it's a face. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:28:18 Oh, oh, oh. She'll see. Oh, no, that's a real. Yeah. So how is it for you now? Oh, he just posted a photo of himself looking cute. That's not the best photo. Yeah, what is, I'm trying to make.
Starting point is 00:28:27 She probably has better pictures of him than he does. Look, oh my God, that's a lot. Oh, yeah, he's very handsome, Olivia. Wait, is that the first one? I'll show her here. You can, like, see, he's got, like, a face. Oh, he's so cute. Yeah, he's got, like, a perfect.
Starting point is 00:28:41 He's got a perfect face. He's got a perfect face. But anyway, I also gave up, Rachel, because I used to want to know. Yeah, I couldn't. After Clayton and, like, um, the two bacheloretts is where I gave up. The two, I watched that with, um, Gabby and Rachel. I actually like Gabby. And yeah, I see that she's kind of a vibe.
Starting point is 00:29:02 She posted something the other day, somebody sent it to me. And I was like, oh, is she a vibe? She is. She's funny. I followed her. We followed each other. And I was like, oh my God, Gabby followed me. I was like really excited.
Starting point is 00:29:14 She's funny, though. Like, I like her because she's like real and funny. Just like Caitlin Bristow, who I love was also like super real. Right. You know what I mean? Yeah. So I go that route. Like, I'm down for that.
Starting point is 00:29:24 But I haven't that I couldn't. I was like, I can't. I just can't. I know. It's a lot. It's a lot. They take too much. They take too much.
Starting point is 00:29:31 And they're overshadowed now by the Vanderpump and the whatever else. Her eyes just lit up. Your eyes lit up when I said that word. It's like a finale. It's the finale. I've never seen a single episode, okay? Ever. I have no.
Starting point is 00:29:45 I'm in. Oh, you, you caught up. I just started. I'm not completely caught up, but I just started and I got from the beginning. In deep. I'm in. It is, it is worth it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:58 It is worth it. It is very worth it. worth it. The Bachelor never caught me like that. I tried. I get it. But the Vanderpump. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Yeah. You're not going to have like cheating scandals like this in The Bachelor. No. This is good stuff. I do kind of. Are you friends with them now? Or is that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Vanderpump was like one of the first shows. Because when I started like, I feel like part of when my Instagram took off was when I started kind of recapping shows like in my stories. And Vanderpump. was one of the first ones. Like I started watching it from the beginning and would like film the screen, film me,
Starting point is 00:30:34 kind of like just react to it. People weren't really doing that then. It was like a little weird. But it, and also it's funny because I watched it delayed. So I was like seven years late being like, oh my God. And meanwhile, like this is shit that happened five years ago.
Starting point is 00:30:54 But people were into it. They were like, I'm living, you know, reliving it through you. So that was kind of like one of the first things that got it stuff kind of going. So I would interview a lot of them. Like when I started my podcast, it was a lot like a reality TV people. So yeah. So over the years like became friendly with them.
Starting point is 00:31:16 And they're all so nice and like it's real what happens there. You know? Right. That's like whenever people were like, oh, it's reality TV. I'm like, they are living this like crazy. But yeah, in terms of like the line, like, I love being in the know, regardless if I can, like, share it or not. Right. You know?
Starting point is 00:31:36 Right. Like stuff that I share, I share. But I get told so much shit by people that I'm like, oh. So fun to hear. Oh. I know I love it. And I'll never like, I'm like very like, if people tell me things off like the record, like I'll never. No.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Ever kind of spill. But, um. Of course. But I love it. My point is that I love this shit for real is what. I'm saying. Well, yeah, your eyes lit up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Yeah. Oh, Vanda Pond. That's what we're going to ask you, too. Like, now that you're doing this and it's become a profession, has it taken any of the joy out? Like, is it like a job? Do you feel like, oh, I have to listen to this shit or watch this stuff or not really because I would anyway, you know? And it really is.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Like, I remember when Courtney first got her, Courtney Kardashian got her Bob. Yeah. And I just had like a baby. And I was like, and I like gasped. And my husband was like, oh my God, what happened? I came out running. I was like, Courtney got the craziest haircut. And it was like, oh, my God, are you okay?
Starting point is 00:32:45 And it's so funny because he's known me for 12 years and like he'll still be shocked in my reactions. And I'm like, you should be used to this by now and not think that something really dramatic happened. But yeah, I really care about this. So it's just like instead of me sitting and watching a show and, you know, calling my sister, that's actually how it started. I used to just say everything I say on my Instagram or post like to my sister. And then one day I was like, oh, fuck it. Like I'll just share it.
Starting point is 00:33:14 So no, like it doesn't. Like it feels really fucking cool that it's a job, you know? But the fun part about it is like no one's sitting on me. I don't have to do anything. I don't have to post, you know, I don't have to, like, tell you what I thought about Banderpump rules. So it's kind of like, you know, I don't really feel the, I kind of do what I want to, what I want to do, talk about what I don't want to talk about. I don't watch like any of the housewives. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Like no one's Bravo isn't paying me, you know. Right. So I kind of do what I want to do. And when I care about something, then you know I'll be like in it, passionate about it, tell you what I think. but it's like not like I can watch every fucking show ever. No, that would be a lot. And you're a mom. So juggling that too, right?
Starting point is 00:34:04 And I'm a mom. And I'm right. I know. I don't know how I have the time. That's why I'm saying. Like it looks like I might watch a lot of TV, but I'm actually not watching a lot of TV is what I'm saying. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:34:15 It's like, you have time. So like Summer House on Mondays, Banner Pump rolls Wednesdays. And then I always have like a show that I binge when I have time. So right now I'm like. Yeah. What is it?
Starting point is 00:34:25 Firefly Lane. Have you seen it? I did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm on the last season. Oh, my God. I know it's sweet, right? I love them. It's with Catherine Hegel and Sarah Chalk. Uh-huh. And they're so cute. It's just like about a female friendship. I know it gets cheesy, but I like it.
Starting point is 00:34:43 I'm not mad at cheese. Wait, did you watch, I just watched Josie. I mean, what is it called again? Daisy Jones. Oh, oh, oh, oh, please. Oh, was obsessed, had an issue. you was screaming about it. Like, I'm sorry. Like, I got so many people to watch that. I couldn't stop.
Starting point is 00:35:04 I'm listening to the music. Riley Kehoe is fucking amazing. Right. She's insane. I wanted to read the book before I watched it. And I have the book, but I haven't done it yet. It always takes me. I know.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Just watch it. Just watch it. Did you read it ends with us? Did you read it ends with us? No. How do you feel about the casting? Because I know people are very, very. I'm very conflicted on this. Like, I read it ends with us. I'm in the middle of it starts with us.
Starting point is 00:35:30 And I just don't know how I feel about it. Who got cast? Lake Lively is playing the main girl. And the guy, I don't really know who he is. I can't think of it. Justin Baldoni. Yeah. What's he from? Yeah. He's directing it. Am I right? Well, everyone loves him, but I'm also not sure where he's from. But people really like him. People love him. It's just not like what I don't know. It's not what I was, it's hard when you read a book because you're envisioning people a certain way. And then it's like, but this is not what I was picturing. So it's like a little frustrating. You know what I mean? That's why I don't think you should read the book. I think you should watch this show. Oh, but I feel like with Daisy Jones, with Kylie, you won't be disappointed. Like she's for sure one for one, the character. But with like
Starting point is 00:36:11 the lead people like had something to say. But I just enjoyed the, that was probably my show of this year. Okay. I have it. I have it uploaded on how good was Camila. Oh, so annoying. She's so gorgeous. Must she be a good actress too? She's a good actress. I know. You're like God doesn't give with both hands? She's so grounded.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Well, she's like a supermodel. So I was like, okay, she's going to act. She's going to suck. Right. But no, no, no. So good. So gorgeous. I'm going to watch it.
Starting point is 00:36:41 But Riley is the star. She's so cute. I'm excited to watch her for sure. She didn't even know she could sing. Sorry. Yeah. Daisy Jones. See that guitar in the corner?
Starting point is 00:36:51 Yeah. Yeah. They sent me that from the Daisy Jones, like, merch and, like, the way I was excited for this, like, stupid PR package, like, I can't even fucking tell you. I'm like, I'm dating. Like, no. So, like, I listen to the songs, like, when I have anxiety. Like, it calms me down. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:37:10 I feel like I was thinking the same thing. I was like, I'm going to listen to these songs now and it's going to be a moment. Like, it's going to feel nostalgic and comforting. Yeah, it does. Yeah. It does. I want to watch it again. I know.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Rachel, watch it. We need your updates and your thoughts. I'm going to watch it. I'm going to let you know my thoughts. Okay. We're going to go through some questions with you now. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Thoughts on women making the first move. Oh my God. Totally yes. Yes. Right? Have you? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:39 I am married for a thousand years. I was taken a teenage bride, okay? Not really. I was 27. But what I'm saying is I forgot. You know when like now my single friends will be, like, should I write this? And I'm like, okay, you should write. And I'm like, I'm so out of the game. I can't believe I'm even giving you advice right now. But I actually think that it's good to take advice
Starting point is 00:38:02 from someone who's not in it because like, I'm so past whatever was back then. You know, the games and the China look cool. I'm like, just put it out there. Like, who cares? He'll say no. Like, move on, you know? I agree. I know. I've never been able. I've always been like so scared. If I was single right now, you know how many DMs I would. slide in too. With my blue check mark and fucking slide in everywhere I'd be like which basketball
Starting point is 00:38:30 player, I don't know. Who cares? I love it. I love it. All right. Who do you think is the most underrated or overrated? In anything?
Starting point is 00:38:43 Oh, just like a person? Oh my God. No, I'm going to get crucifat. I'm going to say this, but hopefully your listeners are like adults and not. freaks. Overrated is Selena Gomez. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:38:56 Don't come for me. Cellinators. Please don't. I'm so scared of you. I'm terrified of you. Oh, my God. Why are you both? Why are you both?
Starting point is 00:39:06 Are you selenators? I don't know enough to know. I'm not a selenator. No, I mean, I like her. I think she's really cute. I like her. I don't know her personally. No.
Starting point is 00:39:19 You said overrated. I'm not hating on her. I'm just saying she's rated. Got it. Meaning like she was the most followed woman like on Instagram. Right. In the world. Like.
Starting point is 00:39:32 Right. Because. Just wondering, you know. Britney Spears has like a 12th of the amount of followers. Sometimes I just don't get it. Right. I don't get what's going on. Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:43 I hear you completely. I know you're like, I said that. You guys aren't backing me. And I'm fine. Yeah. I'm sitting here naked. You're leaving me alone. But I've heard a lot of that lately.
Starting point is 00:39:56 What? That people are, you know, maybe going on the Bieber side of things. Really? Listen, I was kind of not team Haley, but just trying to be like, please don't murder Haley. Right. I got shit for it. Like it was like, why? But she said the thing.
Starting point is 00:40:15 And I was like, oh, my God. So they scare me. And I just think that like toxic fandoms are really crazy. For sure. I mean, people are just people, right? And there are these young girls who are being attacked, bullied, crucified for anything they do or saying. It's kind of like, you got to fucking chill. You know, like there's...
Starting point is 00:40:34 There needs to be a happy medium. There needs to be a happy medium. It's a lot. I've had comments, like, such threatening comments from fans or like fans of my kid's dad because of the whole world he comes from. And like, it's so intense. So you can block it. You can try to report it. Like, it's so beyond intense.
Starting point is 00:40:52 that like we're all like, how the fuck, why is this allowed? Or like, how can we control it? You can't. It's hard. You can't. I wouldn't want to be in any of the, I mean, Haley Bieber just said, like, she got like a write-up in some, I don't know, UK Sunday times or something. And she said she's scared to have kids because she's like, what?
Starting point is 00:41:12 And I don't blame her. I'd be fucking scared too. They'd be like, the devil baby. I don't know what they would do. They're like Rosemary's baby. Yeah, yeah. It would be crazy. But I think like.
Starting point is 00:41:22 The herd mentality for good and for worse is just too much for me. Like, you know, they put these people on a pedestal that's so insane. And in one hand, I'm like happy for the people that it's happening to, you know, but it's also like, let's just like have things in moderation so we can get nice things and like let's not overdo it with anyone or anything. Because you won't be able to live, like I hope Pedro Pascal will be able to live up. up to whatever fucking pedestal. Right.
Starting point is 00:41:54 You know, Gen Z put him on right now. Right. Because he was around. He's great. I love him. But it's like fucking crazy. You know? For sure.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Oh, well, I think that the hard part is so damaging for your mental health, too. Like these people, it's like, yes, you're happy for them, but what price are they actually paying to have that, you know? Yeah. And what happens when that, you know, when it chills, when it chills a little bit. Right. It creates mental illness because the ego gets so fucked with.
Starting point is 00:42:29 And now we've got all these young people that that's their aspiration. And I know you've talked about like your feeling on the word influencer and all of that kind of stuff. But do you feel like you have a responsibility when it comes to that now being a mom and doing what you do? No. Good. No. I mean, I don't know. know why. I wish I could own the word influence or more. I don't know why I fucking hated so much. I think it's
Starting point is 00:42:57 because I'm not really one. You know, I think that I'm other things because I'm not, you know, there are people that you can follow on Instagram that all they will do is to tell you like what to buy and what they use and what they wear. So I don't think that's me. Like I can also tell you that, but it's usually a swipe up for like gap, you know, fucking sweatpants. So I don't, that's why I don't think that I am one. But in terms of responsibilities, I think that it's like, it's so fake, you know, I say what I think and I will keep doing that, but like I don't feel like a responsibility to like fucking tell people. And a lot of times, like, I used to think my followers were the normal one. So I'd say things and be like, they're all crazy, but like, we know. And sometimes they would
Starting point is 00:43:43 turn on me. And I was like, okay, so we don't, we're not in the same. Okay. So we don't think exactly the same. Okay. Cool. So I have to protect myself, too, you know? It's like I'm not, I'm not going to put something out there that I know is going to blow shit up because I don't want to deal with it later. Even if it's not, doesn't enough. You know when your DMs just get flooded because you've said a certain thing or whatever? It's like, no, I rather like things stay in their normal amounts. Like, I don't need to be ruffling any fucking feathers and getting people upset.

Oh, who is underrated? That's a harder one to answer, I feel like. Okay. So here's an example. What? I thought, here's a very good example of what I was going to say. I thought, Sophia Richie was underrated for the past two years.
Starting point is 00:47:33 I was posting her. I was reposting her shit being like, who is this classy fucking fine lady? I will never be as classy as her. She's so perfect. What happened to her after Scott Disset? And people were like, yeah, she's classy. I'm not saying she doesn't have like eight million followers.
Starting point is 00:47:47 I'm just saying she wasn't getting the like it girl moment. Like she wasn't being invited to the things. And I kept on being like, oh my God, she's so cute. Then boom, she gets married. The wedding of the year. Whoa. And then it's like everyone is like Sophia Ritchie, this, that Chanel.
Starting point is 00:48:08 And that scared me. Like I'm happy for her. And I think that she is kind of like the moment and like should be in those circles and whatever. But it was like I thought she was underrated. And then she gets married and this fucking happens. And she's a consensus. And like everyone's into it. With those people, I just feel like, well, I was around for them before.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Right. You're like, I totally called back. I discovered. And. No. No, but now it's not cool anymore. You know, it's just like I like liking the people that like, I don't know, you know. And it's just and now she's blown up and I hope that she keeps the momentum. But she was underrated for a minute.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Now she's not overrated, but now it's like, yeah, she got married. She had really good styling. She had beautiful clothing. She did. And she's gorgeous. I mean. And she has a gazillion fucking dollars. But like what happened between men and now?
Starting point is 00:49:04 Does her husband have like a ton of money? Or I mean, I guess her dad is Lionel. Yeah. Well, his dad owns like universal or something. Oh. His dad is like really. His dad is like old money. Oh.
Starting point is 00:49:19 Yeah. So very, very rich. Then who do you think so great for her? But like who do you think deserves a moment now? That's a good question. Yeah. God, girl's putting me on a fucking spot like that. I know, I know. It's hard. It's hard. But I feel like, you probably, if you looked, you were like, oh, I follow and I feel like she really or he really or they really. You know. Yeah. I don't know. You can think about it. You can let if it's pop to your head. You tell me yours. Who needs a moment. Oh, do you have anybody? Oh, do you have anybody, Olivia? See, it's hard. You can't put that kind of stuff on the spot. It's like really hard. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:50:01 I'm thinking. All right. I'm going to ask you this while she thinks. Who do you think Tom Brady should date next? Well, there were rumors about him and Kim. Yes. So I would say Kim. Is that true?
Starting point is 00:50:14 Do you think it's true? No, I don't think it's true. But like, you know what? I could think it's true. Like, I might not think it's true, but it could be true. I mean. You know what I mean? It makes sense.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Right? It makes sense. Yeah. They should probably hook up. He kind of, they'll look like a dude. fist lately. You know, I feel like she's not into that. His like, I'm retiring. Nevermind. I'm not. You know, it's kind of lame. Like, are you retiring? Are you not? Yeah. And then I feel like he didn't do right by Giselle. Like, would you want to hook up with someone who didn't do right by Giselle? Yeah, I know what happened?
Starting point is 00:50:46 What happened? How did he not do right by her? Do you know? No, I just think, I think the, the consensus and understanding was that like, he put his career first his whole life. And that's why he retired. And then that was like, oh my God, we're so happy to have him back in the family. And then it was like, Fuck that shit. I'm going back out there. And then it was like divorce. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it seems like the writings on the wall, I guess. Who would you put him with? Tom Brady with? Yeah. I used to think me, but I've changed my mind. You can slide in, Rachel.
Starting point is 00:51:17 Oh, my God. I would never. Ever. What? Never. Oh my God. No. No.
Starting point is 00:51:22 That makes me, like right now, like my face is hot. Like, there's no chance in hell. Is anywhere else hot? Always. I feel like we should have Rachel slide into some DMs Like as an experiment As a podcast experiment That makes me so nervous
Starting point is 00:51:40 And see who answers See who leaves you on red That's a fucking move That's the scary move Which means they play games You know what I mean? I mean that just is like If you're gonna open it
Starting point is 00:51:53 And you're not gonna answer That's a move That's a move Right? I feel like Mike Vile told me once that he, when he would put his text messages, like, on red, it was like a move on purpose. So like, oh, people would get the hint. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:10 Or, no, or I don't know how we use it for that or the other. I don't know. Or just play some kind of move to put someone on red is like a conscious. If anyone's on red for me, it's an accident. Like, I accidentally touch the thing. Like, there's no way I would ever, ever put my text messages on red. But yeah, it's a thing. Just like DM.
Starting point is 00:52:29 I do think you should listen to us, though. I think you're going to agree with me that when anyone is single, I don't think you should listen to your single friend's advice. I think you should listen to the merry ladies' advice because are single ladies telling me not to do it? I'm just saying single, when you go to the single ones, I'll be like, I don't know, whatever. Listen to the ones that have been watching the whole time going, if I were single, this is what I would do. But we're also speaking from a place of security where like we're thinking like we don't give a fuck because we have like a safety net, you know?
Starting point is 00:53:06 But we also got the safety net. You're making me feel like like the spinster over here. Like doesn't. Like, hold on. You're a man eater. I call her the man eater. You do? Why?
Starting point is 00:53:22 Oh my God. You have to explain that. Sounds like I'm literally just getting man handled in every bedroom. No, no. You're biting their heads off. Wait, does that mean she has like good game? Yes. Oh.
Starting point is 00:53:35 She'll destroy a motherfucker. Sorry. She's a man. All I have to do is say that you're calling me a spinster and then I get that in return. You're not a spinster. I know. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:53:50 I know. I know. I know. You should listen to us. My God. Yeah. I mean, why not? Sweating everywhere.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Not comfortable. Oh, you know. Who's cute? Who? Steve Howie. Obsess. This is what I've been. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Wait, no, no. You, okay. Listen, listen, listen. Shh. Listen to him on my podcast because it was hot. It was hot in here. It was hot. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:54:18 No, no, no. She literally. He's, I think, he's, and then I had his ex-wife on, like two weeks later. And who's in sex life. Was it hot in here? No, she's like so great. like it was a little sweet. I know her. I know her. No, she's so sweet.
Starting point is 00:54:32 She's so great. And she was so open and like opened up like a ton. So I hope everything ended well there. But, um, right. But I think he's a catch. I mean, he was so funny. I was like, I was literally,
Starting point is 00:54:47 number one. Like it's so weird that you said that. He's her number one. I've met him before. He's so nice. And I love her. I love his ex-wife too. I mean, I think they're awesome people.
Starting point is 00:54:55 I don't know him. But yeah, she's always, that's her number one. I can't believe that. So funny enough, we talked about sliding into DMs. I had, like, somebody on my podcast. Is it a reality TV person? I forget who. And we were talking about him after.
Starting point is 00:55:07 And I was like, slide. And she slid. She slid. And did she. I need to ask her what happened with that. I don't think. It's like, you know, these fucking actors. Like, I know.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Think there's such hot shit. Fucking, fucking open it. Oh, he didn't open it? Or you said you don't know what happened. No, I don't think he did. But like, I also thought that I had a really good report with him for my podcast. I thought we were best friends. and then, you know, we weren't.
Starting point is 00:55:30 So. Wait, you tried to like reach out and he didn't. No, no, no, no. But I think I said, like, thanks for coming on. And even, like, I felt bad about having his ex-wife. I was kind of like, should I ask Steve if he's like, okay, what? And then I was like, I don't think Steve gives up about you or what you're doing. So get out.
Starting point is 00:55:50 Like, that was me, like, being delusional even in my, like, you know, non-sexual way. Yeah. But I was just like, we're friends. I should run this by him. Wait, did you? But no. Oh my God. Which, like, I'm scared.
Starting point is 00:56:06 Now he hates me more. Like, I'm like, yeah. These are the stories we tell ourselves, though, and it's always like the worst case. You know what I mean? I'm like, Steve hates me because I had Sarah on and like she talked about the divorce and she talked about like kind of every. Yeah, she was so open, like wild. Why'd they divorce?
Starting point is 00:56:28 She kind of says that she was like Billy and sex life. Oh shit. Yeah. That she was like her character. Is that her character? Yeah. So on Steve's podcast with me, he says that his dick in shameless wasn't a prosthetic.
Starting point is 00:56:46 And that's when I really blushed. He shows his weiner and shameless. Yeah. Well, I mean, everyone's like kind of naked there now. Naked. I don't know. And then he talks about like fleshing. And I'm like, what's that? Fleshing.
Starting point is 00:56:57 What's Fleshing? Fluffing. Oh, yeah. Oh, I'm like, what's flushing? Is when you go potty. I know, like, blushing is when you like just, you know. Fluffing is when you get it like bigger for, you know where I learned this? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:11 From your podcast. Yeah. To make it bigger. Wait. Also, you heard, also you heard that the one with Steve? Yeah. Oh, you did? There was a clip.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Oh, okay. There was a clip. There was a clip. There was a clip. No. No, no, no. . There was a clip.
Starting point is 00:57:25 There was a clip about his fluffing. Yeah. That's true. What's fluffing? You mean just getting it... Getting it a little hard. Yeah. Basically...
Starting point is 00:57:32 Basically getting it hard. Because it's not supposed to be like full boner. No, because you want your dick to look good on TV. Yeah. Okay. It's... I mean, I think... Because it's not supposed to be a boner.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Like, you can't have a heart on. You can't have a hard on. Okay. I'm just asking. I don't know. I think you have to, yeah. I guess medium. I guess medium.
Starting point is 00:57:52 It's like if I was going to do a nude scene, I would take a nude scene. a ice and make my nipples hard. Right. To make your boobs look prettier. Yeah. It's a same idea. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Yeah, yeah. Noted. So anyway, he kind of like shaded. See Rachel Bilsen? Always trying to talk about sex in here. Always trying to get sexual. Oh, my God. She's hot.
Starting point is 00:58:13 I know. Guys, you understand what my life has become. I like that we're on board with this person. I'm glad we're on board with Steve Howie. and somebody needs to slide on in and catch it because I feel like he's a good one. Agreed. Well, since we're on the topic of sex
Starting point is 00:58:33 and apparently that is what all we talk about, we have what's your weirdest turn on. Oh my God. I love your reaction to everyone. Like literally, I'm like so asexual on this podcast. Are you feeling asexual now that you become a mom Has your sex drive changed? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:56 I would say that. Yeah. And long time partners can maybe affect that. Yeah. Like 10 fucking years, you know. I do know. I do know. I think it's crazy because I think you get older and the things that turn you on
Starting point is 00:59:14 are actually like just gestures that are, you know, nice or caring or loving, you know, when it used to be like. like, you know, spit on me and, you know, smoke a cigarette. Right. And a cigarette is kind of turned on for me. I have to admit it's bad. Mm. Oh.
Starting point is 00:59:30 Kind of like that, yeah. Yeah. What can you say at the dinner table that you can also say in bed? See, this is a sex podcast. What the fuck? What can I say in that? Yum. Yum.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Okay. That's good. Is that a good one? That's good. Eat me. Oh, I'm just kidding. Medium well. steamy.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Well, yeah, I mean, I don't know. There's so many cards in here that are sex. They are sex. She's scared to ask them. I know. I can't say anything. Morning or night sex. Oh, night.
Starting point is 01:00:06 Not morning. People like morning, huh? I do. I mean, you're more awake. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:17 This podcast is not about sex at all. Okay. What's your biggest panty dropper? Isn't that like my biggest turn on? Yeah. But it's a panty dropper. Yeah. So it could just be like something someone says.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Like if they do this, it's fucking lights out. You're getting it. Like a guy told Olivia, he would like punch her teeth out. She was so cute. And that was a panic. Was it something like that? Well, he also said he would replace them, Rachel. And buy me new ones.
Starting point is 01:00:44 Wait, what did somebody say? They would punch her teeth out? One time when a guy was like kidding on me, left me a message, he's like, you're so fucking cute. I want to punch your teeth out and buy you all new ones. and I liked it. I was like, that is,
Starting point is 01:00:58 that is like aggressive. It was aggressive. He also said he could see me with a gold chain and a tiger. I went for it. I was like, okay, I see it.
Starting point is 01:01:08 That is. No, you guys, I'm really sorry. I'm like so out of the game. I'm like embarrassed. I have no panty droppers. I have no sex words. Like my husband probably wants to kill himself.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Like for how not sexual I am lately. This one's going to speak to your. your soul then. Okay. Speak to me. Speak to me. What would be your death row last meal? Oh.
Starting point is 01:01:29 Last meal? Yeah. I thought you said man. I was like, again with this. Okay. I know the answer to this. It's Pene. You're a death row last man.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Oh, that's good. Penaella vodka. Ooh. Ooh. Yeah. I know. A particular one. No.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Penal of vodka. Like, Penny with vodka sauce. No, but I mean like from a restaurant. Oh, okay. You want to go spicy regatoni carbone? We'll do spicy ricotone carbone. That's fine. We could do that one. Is there a certain restaurant? Well, that's what I just said from carbone. No, for the penny all of vodka. You guys are so funny. Sorry. Sorry. Oh, my God. Okay. We're just going to, we'll go with that because we can't like ask it again without.
Starting point is 01:02:23 Wait, why is it not a good answer? No, is that a restaurant? Yes, Carbone's a restaurant. Okay, yes. But did you teach you? You don't know Carbone? I do. I don't.
Starting point is 01:02:34 Is that in New York? Yeah, I don't know it. Yeah. Do they have it in Miami? They might have it in Miami too. They might. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:41 That was good. So I did it. I did it. You did it. You did. You did it. We're going to go with that. You did it all.
Starting point is 01:02:47 Honestly. Okay. Oh, this is a good one, though. What? For her. Oh, who do you ship? What is ship? Why do they say ship?
Starting point is 01:02:55 What does it mean? Where does it come from? I think like relationship. Oh, okay. I'm like a boat passing in the night. Like I... Yeah. I love putting little ships.
Starting point is 01:03:05 Well, I'm shipping Pete and Chase Sui right now. I think it's a really good one. It's cute. I think it's a really good one for them. You know? Yes. Okay. That works.
Starting point is 01:03:15 That's a big ship. But no, they're already together. Yeah, but... Are you shipping? I have a question for you. Now me. I'm going to ask something. thing. Okay. Do you ship
Starting point is 01:03:26 Timothy Shalame and Kylie together? I do weirdly. I do. Okay. I like how out of left field it is because I think he, I just, I do. Okay. Do you? I don't love it. Okay. Okay. Want to elaborate or no? I think people are feeling more hatred. Like I think that Kendall and Bad Bunny, like people really hate that. I think Timmy and Kylie people kind of are on board because it's like, Why do people hate Kendall and Bad Bunny? Is there a reason?
Starting point is 01:03:57 Yeah, his fan, he's very, like, Latino. So I think his fans saw him with somebody. I see. From the community. And the Kardashians, people think, are like the antithesis to that, you know? Yeah. So they're kind of just, like, projecting all that shit onto them. But.
Starting point is 01:04:16 But Timothy and Kylie are kind of. I feel like Timothy and Kylie works. I mean, he's like. It's so out of left field, right? So you're like. Yes. But then when you think about it, you're like, it is. But also, like, he's, like, really into fashion and, like, you know, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:32 I feel like, you know, it could, it could work. I don't know. I kind of like it. You do. And also, she has two kids. You forget. She has fucking two kids. She does have two kids.
Starting point is 01:04:42 It's true. Like, is he ready to be a, you know, a daddy? A daddy. A daddy. I think that that's what kind of makes me not ship them. What? That she has kids? Just like, is he cut out for that?
Starting point is 01:04:58 Is he the man for the job? I don't know if they like look for that, you know? Yeah. If it's like, I think that that's like a separate. Right. You just date, but you're not instantly like, okay. But that's a privilege thing. In other communities, there's no options of like, I'm not going to be with my kids
Starting point is 01:05:17 so I can go date you. Right. And like it doesn't matter if you're going to be whatever in typical. life because they don't live a typical life. Right. You wouldn't be able to separate it. You should probably ask. Right. And for normies, you wouldn't be able to like separate it. It would be like, okay. It costs money to separate it. Yeah. Yeah, it would have to be part of it. Right. No, I think it is cute. I think it is a cute. I think I ship. I ship. Yeah. I ship. Yeah. I should. Yeah. I
Starting point is 01:05:46 I also ship Bad Bunny and Kendall. Like let them fucking live. Oh, yeah. I'm look. I'm supportive. Like whatever. Whatever's making me happy. You know what I mean? Yeah. We, okay, we're going to play Fuck Mary,
Starting point is 01:05:57 kill with you. Okay. This I'm good. When there are options, I'm good. I'm going to kill it. All right. Now we know.
Starting point is 01:06:04 For next time, we will have like multiple choice for you. The whole podcast. We're doing Kardashian X's. We're going to do Scott Dissick. Travis Scott. And Tristan.
Starting point is 01:06:17 I'd marry Scott. I'd fuck. I'd fuck Tristan because he's obviously like good at it and then I kill Travis Scott Oh my gosh Should I fuck Travis Scott and kill Tristan
Starting point is 01:06:34 Because he's a cheater Oh see? That's a predicament. Yeah, that's what I would do predicament here Oh, you would kill Tristan because he's a cheater? Yeah You would?
Starting point is 01:06:42 You would? You think Travis got dingy? Yeah, I probably did too. Yeah. Yeah. And Scott definitely did. I mean, you would him.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Scott definitely did? cheated on court yeah yeah yeah absolutely is this like an open thing that i'm just forgetting because i have no memory yeah the show was just different then i feel like we kind of like accepted it but it was like between the line it was like very obvious that yeah yeah that he cheated all right but we still love him isn't that weird love him yeah okay fuck it i'll go like you i'll fuck uh travis scott and kill trust in. I feel like he deserves it only because she was pregnant and, you know. Yeah. I'm leaving you girls on your own on this one. Well, thank you guys for having me. Yeah. Thank you for coming on. It was so much fun. And congratulations on your podcast. It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:07:34 Oh, thank you. All right. Thank you. Bye. Bye. Hello. Hello. Rob celebrated his birthday, had a game night that we could not attend. birthday, Rob. Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks. Happy birthday, Rob. I didn't expect you to attend. Don't worry. No, I personally love a game night.
Starting point is 01:07:59 It is my number one choice of night with friends. It was my brother's birthday. What? It was David's birthday? Natalie said that you had a funeral to attend or a wake or something is what you told her. I did. She did. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:14 But they didn't go. That's what you call your brother's birthday. It's way of like awake. No, no, no. It was supposed to be my uncle's memorial. but then it got pushed so then the only day my mom could celebrate my brother's birthday yada yada yada so on and so on and i was on a plane so on and so forth but jeff would have rather have gone to your birthday well we'll do a game night again i was going to say why don't we just do a redo with just
Starting point is 01:08:40 like us guys yeah we're doing a game night yeah uh guys so i flew on a plane last night back from our little family vacation summer vacation and i watched The entire Natalia Grace thing. Did you watch it? I started watching it and I watched the trailer or the beginning of the first one and I couldn't do it. Okay, well then we can't talk about this because you guys haven't watched it. No, I don't, I'm not going. I don't plan on watching so you guys can talk about it.
Starting point is 01:09:08 But Olivia, you knew about the pubic hair. Of course I knew about the pubic hair. Not from watching this new. From TikTok. Oh, got it. Okay. Well, then anyway, it's very, I still don't. you know, they were claiming she was an adult,
Starting point is 01:09:24 but by the end, they're like, no, she was actually a child, which means she was six years old with pubic hair. But things like that can happen when you have weird. Oh, spoiler alert. I mean, I think everyone knows. But the thing is, is that like, that's like a growth hormone thing, right? And all of that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 01:09:44 If something goes wonky, I don't see that as like, you know, the craziest thing I've ever heard. No, the shit that they talk about. in this that goes down, it turns into massive abuse from the adoptive family and mother. It's like the first adopted family. No. The second? The family they're focusing on is the second adopted family.
Starting point is 01:10:09 She was with another family prior to the Barnett's. Okay, but then there's a third adopted family. There's a third when they moved her to a certain area in Indiana into, was second floor apartment and she has disabilities, you know? Like, it was like, whatever. It was awful. It's so fucking crazy, you guys. Like, it was so awful how she was treated.
Starting point is 01:10:32 But then some stories from these other neighbors at the apartment were like, she was trying to, like, sexually seduce men and little boys, like, the entire time. It's so weird. There's so many twists and turns. It's so bizarre. But anyway, this woman took her in once she moved to the last place and that's the third. I guess that's technically the third family that took her in. in and she had lived with them for like five years at the time of the interview. Anyway, it's so bizarre. I had,
Starting point is 01:10:57 look it, I had five hours. I sat. I watched. I finished. I gave you so many other things to do during five hours. I couldn't download because I could not open my old email on my old iPad. Don't ask me. We solved your email thing. We got you end all your emails. Well, tell me your new email then. And I just send it to that. I don't have a new email. What I'm saying is, oh, I could afford it to like another email. Oh, I could have done that. Yeah. But how do you download it?
Starting point is 01:11:28 Anyway, this is boring. We'll talk about this later. You know what I want to talk about is, did you guys keep a serendipity journal? No. What? In my brain. You didn't? Let me tell you.
Starting point is 01:11:41 I. You guys suck. No, I have it all written. I need to write it out. You put it all written in your brain. Is that what you were about to say? Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 01:11:50 So that counts. I didn't do. it, but I have it written in my brain, so it can't. But I did it because I text it to Olivia every time something happened. So it's all there. I just have to write it down on my paper. All you have to do is put it in a notes page. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:03 How often did you see 308? Never. You did it wrong. What it sounds like. No, you can't force. You know what's really cool? So the 308, one of our audience members, wrote us and sent a picture of their address and they said they were looking.
Starting point is 01:12:20 Yeah? You guys, Shepherd pooped in the potty for the first time. Oh, go. I got to, you guys continue? Yep, yep. Did you poop? That is huge. That's huge.
Starting point is 01:12:36 Yeah, she's showing us the toilet now. It is a huge poop. That's massive. It's so big. Olivia's mouth just dropped, and that's not what I thought was going to come out of her mouth. When the knock on the door and then you saw her mouth drop. What did you do on your trip? Well, you know what, Breyer got really sick for two days.
Starting point is 01:12:57 She had 103 fever. She's sick all the time. She isn't, but then there goes through phases, right? You say she's sick all the time. Well, no. I mean, in school, kids get sick. She had 103 fever. She was laid out for two days.
Starting point is 01:13:13 She was dizzy. She couldn't do anything. But then she was fine. That's good. I still have a cough after two weeks. Yeah, I can't ever hurt it. Why? It's because you and your kid are always sick.
Starting point is 01:13:23 That is not, I am not always sick. I rarely get sick. You were sick like two weeks ago? Yeah. And then before that. And I just have a lingering cough. Yeah. You sick a lot. So I can't get rid of it. It wakes me up in the morning, 4.30 this morning, which is 7.30 because of the time zone. But that was coughing. You took a super early flight. How was your adjustment? On the way there? Yeah. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:13:49 You woke up about like four to get to the airport? Yeah. My red eye was not great. Oh, yeah, your red eye. How was the funeral? It was a blast. It was a party? No, it was fine. What did you say about the Amazon driver he was friends with?
Starting point is 01:14:06 His wife got up and gave a speech. That was very sad. But she had called out Amazon and how Bob had become good friends with his Amazon driver because he would order lots of Amazon stuff. That is so sweet. Bob sounds like the sweetest. And then I took my parents to eat at a fancy restaurant the night before. Oh, how'd they do?
Starting point is 01:14:34 How'd Janet do? My dad did well. My mom did not. She was not a fan. She wants to join me at Cracker Barrel. She would love Cracker Barrel. But it was like 12 or 13 courses and maybe six or seven of them were. some sort of fish or lobster or shrimp or
Starting point is 01:14:56 some sort of crustacean. How do you do with fish? I'm fine with it. I'll try all of it. But when we got there for a reservation, they were a little slow to seat us, so they brought us like in a moose bush. Well, that was nice to them. And it was this soft-boiled quail egg and this like cracker little nest thing and then caviar on top and I told her that
Starting point is 01:15:26 she needed to at least try everything and that like she can't make faces like this is disgusting and everything they bring out and off the bat she did not do a great job at concealing her disgust for the food so the guy that brought it saw her face and he was like oh no he was like what's wrong and
Starting point is 01:15:50 she's like, I don't want to eat caviar. Like, I'm not going to eat caviar. Which was like one of the best parts of the dish. He gave it to me and my dad to have. And then he went back to the kitchen and had to make another one for her that didn't have caviar. The caviar. Did she like it without the caviar? No.
Starting point is 01:16:08 She looked like she was going to throw up as she was eating it. Well, she's my girl. What can I say? We can dine together. Yeah. You don't do any fish? Yeah, I do fish. It's never going to be my first choice or favorite thing.
Starting point is 01:16:20 but I like fish. Actually, there's one restaurant that we go to. When we go on that summer trip, I just went on and I always get fish. It's delicious. Do you do baked fish or more like shashimi raw? I do all. Do you have a preference? All of the above.
Starting point is 01:16:39 I mean, I don't know. I'm not a huge sushi person in general. I don't have sushi, but I'll do like a crudo or like a savić. I like savić. I like sashimi and I like just, I don't like rolls. I hate rolls. I don't like rolls either. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:55 Wait, did he poop in the potty? He pooped in the potty and on the front step. And then I went to go throw it away in the trash. And there was a mouse. There was a mouse inside the trash can. You mean? No, no, no, in my outside trash. Yeah, I was like, wait, you went to throw.
Starting point is 01:17:17 First when you were like, I went to throw it in the trash, was like, there's no way. is your kitchen dress. So he pooped on the front step outside. So did he like pull his pants down and just poop on the step? Like what happened? We don't put pants on him anymore while we're home. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:32 And he's just free-balling it. Potty training. Free-balling. No underwear? No underwear. Okay. Got it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:38 Just take his pants off. So he's been going pee-pee on the potty for like two weeks now. Yeah. But this was the first time he went poop on the potty. So what I'm guessing is he went outside and then finished it off. on the potty. That's really good. It's a big deal. But I've never seen such big amounts of poop.
Starting point is 01:17:59 Yeah, large poops comes out of these little people. It's insane. Is he like a little constipated right now trying to figure out? Exactly. Because that was when Calvin was potty training, like he just couldn't gauge pooping. He'd hold it, yeah, he's holding it for days. Yeah, so that's like he'd have.
Starting point is 01:18:19 I'm very important question. Right. Rachel's raising your hand. I am. I'm trying to interrupt. You have been letting him roam around freely. This is the first day. He's gone in the potty.
Starting point is 01:18:33 Where has he been pooping? So he'll wait until like we put a diaper on at the end of the night and then he'll... Got it. So he's literally just holding it. It's not like he's just like in the corner in the living room, dropping a deuce. No, no, no, no. I think they like don't know how to use. their butthole muscles until your body trained.
Starting point is 01:18:54 Exactly. They're just like, oh, your butthole muscles. I mean, you're welcome, guys. That is huge. Did you give him a treat? I sure did. I gave him a ring pop. Oh, and Elliot,
Starting point is 01:19:07 Elliot came and knocked and said Shepherd pooped in the body. Yeah. That's so great. You know what? It's documented forever now. Yeah, it is. I'm still in shock on how big it is. And I'm really freaking out about that mouse in the trash can.
Starting point is 01:19:22 Well, at least it's a mouse and not a rat. I mean, that's better. I can't handle. You know how many rats are in my garage? Okay. Yeah, that's not okay. I go to get La Croy's in there all the time. Yeah, I've been in there too.
Starting point is 01:19:35 I had that surfboard out of there. I didn't see any rats. No, there's lots of rat. Poop. They're around at night. You know, there's tons of rats. I mean, there's rats everywhere, you guys. I had rats in my car engine, remember?
Starting point is 01:19:46 Yeah. There's rats in our tree outside. which I'm not okay with. Do you see them? Yeah. You can see them. You can watch them walk around the trees. It's not cozy.
Starting point is 01:19:59 Interesting. Serendipity. Did I get to the point where one of our listeners was driving home and as they were pulling up, we talked about the serendipities and the 308, and so they screenshoted a picture of their address and sent it to us. And it's 308. 308. Rob, there's your thing.
Starting point is 01:20:16 Imagine how that felt for them. That's huge. Imagine how that felt for them. They were like, what? You know? That is crazy. So when I was on my trip rob, I read this book. And in the book, there's like a part of the story where they look out to the sea and there's three lights.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Okay. So I walked down to the beach and the lighthouse is lit and I'm like, oh, that's so pretty. I thought you were going to say, and there was a sea. The sea was there and I just read about the sea. And the sea was there and I just read about a sea. And it was one light. And I was like, you know, it would be weird if like another light comes up. But like if three lights somehow appear, I'm just going to walk straight into the ocean because like, fuck, what fuck is this?
Starting point is 01:20:55 Anyway, I'm just like going around and then I look up, there's two lights. And I'm like, okay, that's fucking weird. Walking around, I take a picture of Briar, I look in the picture, there's three fucking lights. Okay? That's right, baby. Three lights. And I was like, well, that's fucking weird. It's weird.
Starting point is 01:21:15 So that happened. I had a lot happen. I had more than that, but yes, go Olivia. Your turn. I just thought we had our assigned. No, you can't assign. That was all I was looking for. I was looking for yellow vans, 308 and the word.
Starting point is 01:21:34 Mine was the word. The word serendipity. Serendipity. I only remembered 308 because Rob could not stop texting us. 308. If you see 308, how's 308? Yeah, but you did text us yesterday that your output on. your Peloton was 308, which I was more impressed with your output being 308 than it was the
Starting point is 01:21:54 number three or eight. Because mine's like 64. But how long are you doing? That's 45 minutes. 20 minutes. 20 minutes. That's 45 minute. That's still, you're, because I'm telling you, that thing is hard. You must be charging on that thing. My, I think my highest is 375. Isn't it hard? I mean, once you do it, your tolerance gets up there. So if you're doing it every day and you're, like, gradually adding time and difficulty to it, it's not that hard. Okay. What were your other serendipities, Rachel?
Starting point is 01:22:32 No, I know. Or synchronicities. And just that's my one story, which was weird. I had a few. I know one. What? The condo. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:42 That's one. I was in Santa Monica in my old neighborhood, and I looked at my old unit. like our old townhouse place and just said, gosh, I just really wish there was a three bedroom there. And then a couple days later, three bedroom popped up and we're going to go look at it today. But that's one thing. One that was like kind of like eerie with someone really dear to me, didn't carry a baby to term.
Starting point is 01:23:09 So it's a little heavy. But then got pregnant again and we were talking names. And I didn't text or any other. names just out of the blue, I text her Ella. And she's like, that's so fucking weird because that was the baby's name. It's my niece's name. See? Serendipity.
Starting point is 01:23:31 Wow. Oh my gosh. Elliot. Elliot text me from his iPad shepherd pooped on the potty. Oh. That's very funny. That's so big. I'm so proud of him.
Starting point is 01:23:45 Literally it was so big. So they, yeah, the poop size that comes out is pretty massive. Are we going to go eat a burger this week? I do not want a bone marrow burger. Hey, I miss you guys. Yeah. We got to celebrate your birthday, Rob. Yep.
Starting point is 01:24:03 How about we do it Wednesday night with these burgers? You know, I was thinking today because I cut up a peach and Shepherds never tried a peach. What? No, he's weird about texture. But I took a bite of it. I was like, imagine tasting that for the first time, how fun that is. And I'm like, that's probably why it's harder to be an adult. Like, there's just not that many new things to experience.
Starting point is 01:24:29 Briar learned how to blow a bubble on the plane ride out on our trip. And it was like the best thing ever that she can blow a bubble now. Yeah. But you've never had a burger with bone marrow. So like that's new. No, but I hate bone marrow. Hate. I don't think it's something that they're not like.
Starting point is 01:24:44 the burger is going to taste like fat. It's going to taste like fat. No, I've had their bone marrow burger and it does not. Well, I don't know you guys. All right, I have a question. Yeah. I know Rachel's thoughts. I'd like to know Rob's thoughts, but Rachel, you go ahead.
Starting point is 01:25:02 How do you feel, Rob about quality of life? To you, is it about the environment in which you live as far as, like, neighborhood, walkability, things that you like in the city, all of that kind of stuff, or is it about the size of your home and like quality of your home? Would you rather, so it's basically like Manhattan versus New Jersey, right? What are your thoughts on that? Would you sacrifice and live in a smaller place to be in an area you like or would you rather have a bigger home to dwell? I think there's a balance. There's a lot of factors. When we decided where to live, it was not necessarily based on how big of a house we can get.
Starting point is 01:25:50 That was low in the factors. It was more schools in the area, how good they were for the boys. And I guess then generally it was how convenient is that for my commute for work? That's a thing. That was a big one. I know. Uh-huh. I know. And then, I mean, there was, like, financially, is it a good investment to live in this area?
Starting point is 01:26:21 Right. Which, I think, goes back to the schools anyways. If the schools are good, it's going to be. And then just access to things that we want to do, which that's changing as we have kids and don't have time to do things. Right. So would you think it would be insane? to go from a house where you have a yard and a pool and all of that to a 1,400 square foot condo with two kids.
Starting point is 01:26:54 Yep. No, I mean, I think a... So here's the thing. I'm considering going back to Santa Monica. So in Santa Monica, we used to live in this place and we loved our quality of life. You could walk everywhere. There's a park across the street that's a beautiful park that has like a social. that has like a scooter park and a jungle gym and a freaking lake with ducks and like whatever,
Starting point is 01:27:18 that's across the street. The school is walking distance, two blocks, top-notch school. Does it have Shepherds needs met at that school? Yeah, I called and talked to them yesterday. Okay. So they have special needs programs where they have itinerant teachers come in and teach all the different things for whatever he would need. And then it's nines all throughout high school.
Starting point is 01:27:40 So that would take care of them. Not like we would live there that long because we like to move all the time, but walk to every grocery store we love, all the restaurants we love, all walking. You can hop on a tram. I think that would be worth it. I mean, that was like our vacation when we went to San Francisco and stayed in the city. We didn't have a ton of space, but it was enough for what we needed. And we had a park nearby that was really nice to have.
Starting point is 01:28:08 and we walked around a lot. See, Rachel's aunt. No, what I said was this. The reason they wanted to move out of their house was because they needed another bedroom and more space, okay? That was why they wanted to move out of that house. Okay? So with that...
Starting point is 01:28:25 Well, that was a big motivator. Yes, but that was a big motivator was more space. Because they have in-laws, they have your brother. You know, they just needed more space. So I said to move to a condo, you know, when you needed to move to have more space, didn't make sense to me, right? Because it's smaller, it's three bedrooms, whatever. But what I did say was if it's going to make Jeff happier because you're in Santa Monica
Starting point is 01:28:56 and like that lifestyle and you have all the things, I understand that. That's what I said. Yeah. Also, I'm not huge on her moving to Santa Monica because it's so fucking far. Yeah. I don't also know why you would move to Santa Monica as far. So is Woodland Hills, guys. Not once have either of you been to my house since I've been here.
Starting point is 01:29:13 So it's like, it's far anyways. Sure. Yeah, I guess you could live in Santa Barbara for all. I was living in Sacramento. So it's not that far. Oh, it's almost harder. No, I would just have to time it, right? Like, whatever.
Starting point is 01:29:27 Yeah, anyway, that is what I said, though. I understand the quality of life thing. Being able to walk, like all that. Of course I understand. I do like it out there. Also having a happier Jeff. is worth. I mean, you also have other factors
Starting point is 01:29:38 in why you live in the area you do, Rachel. Yeah. You couldn't be in a congested as a known person. Well, just as me, no matter what,
Starting point is 01:29:50 that's not my vibe. You need space and, like, privacy makes sense. I like not being in the thick of L.A. that's all, personally. Yeah, see, I don't mind it. I mean, I would have never live downtown. No.
Starting point is 01:30:04 But Santa Monica's, like, peaceful. Like where we lived was so quiet and peaceful and it's like the people are cool and it's not it's not like. Do Sebastian, do they still live there? Jenny? No, but they still own it. And so I was like, if we move back in, I'm going to wrestle you to move back in. She goes, it might not be that hard. Yeah. I mean, I think it's all a spectrum of like, right. There's going to be pros and cons to it and it's then finding out of balance. Here's the thing. The reason this came up is because we need to redo our house. And so basically it's as much work as moving. So I'm like, if we're going to be redoing our house,
Starting point is 01:30:40 is this really where we want to be to go through all of that? But from an investment standpoint, it maybe makes sense. But there's a ceiling on it because of things like the area, the school district isn't great. Right. Like I agree. I don't think you should stay where you are regardless. You know, I agree with that.
Starting point is 01:31:04 So then it's not necessarily worth putting the money in. Because a lot of people would want to get this house and just do what they want to do with it anyways. Yeah, yeah. That makes sense. You know? You're going today to see it? Yeah, but I also found a place in Wooden Hills that's, like, south of the boulevard.
Starting point is 01:31:23 You didn't send that to me? Are you going to send it to me? Sure. How could you not? You didn't send it to me either. I love you. I'll send it to both of you. It needs some things, but it's not like it means the world.
Starting point is 01:31:40 Okay, let's give each other something for the week. Yeah, but you guys have to do it. I've been doing it. I write you every time something happens. You have to write me. I did not. So it doesn't count. I looked for 308.
Starting point is 01:31:57 I did two. So I did my homework. I was paying attention to 308. It doesn't seem like it. They won't. So your homework for this week, Rachel? Yes. To broaden your horizons and try a bone marrow burger.
Starting point is 01:32:14 Ugh. Ugh. Okay. Which may include finding a babysitter. Okay. What's yours, Robb? Rob's is to what? If Robb something, Olivia.
Starting point is 01:32:28 I'd love to see Rob do something, like, get excited. That makes me uncomfortable. Like spiritual or out of his rational, logical brain. Yeah. But I don't know what that is. You guys, I'm really obsessed with aliens right now. I wonder if there's something we could do with aliens. Did you know I just found out that this is what they say,
Starting point is 01:32:55 that people with RH negative blood might be part alien and that's me. You look like an alien. I know, I feel like one. Yeah. Something that we could have Rob. Oh, I know. What if Rob did a gratitude list? That would make my day.
Starting point is 01:33:12 Would you go eat a bone marrow burger for it? Yeah. A daily gratitude list. A day, now this is a daily? Just five things. Yeah, it's a week. It's just five things a day that you text us that you're grateful for. Yep.
Starting point is 01:33:26 That's what you have to do, Rob. I'll do it starting Thursday. after I eat a bone marrow burger. Yeah. Yeah. I know how these things work with Rachel, but you can't both agree to do something at the start. So no one's going to do anything is what you're saying.
Starting point is 01:33:43 No, I'll do it starting Thursday. You know she's not going to go, right? Why don't you just go? I have to figure it out. So let me try to figure it out. Jesus. All right, what's Olivia's? Olivia's is don't move to see.
Starting point is 01:34:03 Santa Monica. Yes. Literally what I was going to say. Is that what you were going to say? That's it? That is what I was going to say. No, but yours is to do something each day this week to step forward towards what you're after. One action.
Starting point is 01:34:23 You're getting off real easy, Rachel. You have like a one. I fucking hate bone marrow. So no, I'm not. Like, disgust. We both have been assigned. Daily. Daily things. And yours is, show up to a free, fancy dinner.
Starting point is 01:34:38 Give me something daily. No, I think her task is fine for this week. She's going to struggle with it already. Yeah. If she can do that, I'd be blown away. The bone marrow? It's not about the bone marrow. Is it if you could leave my house?
Starting point is 01:34:55 Yes. Yeah. That's more what it is. Yeah. Okay. And if you don't like it, we'll find something for you to eat afterwards. we'll go to fucking CrackerBow or the or the equivalent that's nearby. That would be great, guys.
Starting point is 01:35:12 That would really make me happy. Fred 62 or House of Pies? No, Fred 62. You like House of Pies, right? I would do House of Pies over Fred 62, be honest. I like hole in the wall. Crap. Okay.
Starting point is 01:35:25 All right. Love you guys. See you all next week. Okay, bye. Bye. That was a hit gum point. podcast.
