gonna open my leg that's who this song is about I'm kind of feeling I'm gonna open my leg
I'm so scared I'm gonna open my legs okay so we're in West Virginia right now so
As you can see from the genuine flash floods.
Brooks in her water shoes.
I'm in my waters, watch.
Show everyone how I go in the water.
You're going to go in the water in the parking lot?
All right.
I look like a massive fairy tale giant.
But basically we just wanted to say because we're in West Virginia,
we were not able to record an episode this week.
So we're showing you the pilot episode of Brooke and Connor that was never released.
We have both decided that it's in our best interest not to relive and watch it.
So we don't know what you're about to watch.
We hope you like it.
I think it's actually going to be cool to see, like, how much we've all grown together.
So, well, maybe.
And we will have a lot to update you on next week.
Yeah.
We have a great guest next week, and we also hope to give you some West Vagina.
Update.
Yeah.
We have, it's an extensive docket of topics and new things that have not been talked about ever before.
but the guests, I can't emphasize enough.
It's been lightning.
I won't lie to you.
There has been lightning.
Yeah, I don't know if we'll even get home tomorrow.
Don't say that.
So there's a young man that's just pulled up to take us away.
I think we should go back into tacos and tequila.
We'll go back into the crew in here, but thank you guys for watching.
Thank you.
Thanks for the patience.
We'll be back in such a massive way next week.
Hear that thunder?
I hope you understand because you have to.
and we'll see you next week we'll see you next week love you love you and bye hey brock hi Connor
what's up it's really nice to see you it's so good to see you especially in this this lighting
is extremely good I know and it's so nice to be able to hear your voice so crisp like a
honey and clear you really have a gorgeous voice you do too thank you um well am I too close to the mic or
no I think you're lovely yeah what's up how how's how's how's the Monday going
The Monday's good.
Something actually interesting happened to me this morning that's never happened to me.
And you won't believe this.
I woke up at 7 this morning, which is a big, yeah, different than the 10 usual wake-up time.
And I hiked Runyon.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Jeez, why?
Yeah.
I can't answer that and I don't think it'll ever happen again and it's never happened before.
But it is something that happened this morning.
That's huge.
You want to know it's huge in my life?
What?
And you haven't really said anything about it.
It's my anniversary of getting hit by that car.
Yeah, how are you feeling?
Good, like time flies.
Yeah, well, I guess you wanna dive into the story
of when you got hit by the car?
For people who haven't heard it.
Oh, I forgot, not everybody's heard the story.
I was just like on a bird scooter
and I'm kind of barreling towards a four-way intersection
and I couldn't figure out the break.
And then I just got smashed into by, like,
I think it was a Toyota Corolla,
which like, normally I'd be like, okay,
it's a Toyota Corolla.
I feel like I could get a hit by a Toyota Croll and just walk away.
Walk away.
Walk away. You'd be shocked at how the punch it can pack.
Well, I do feel like, I think it's like an invincibility complex.
Like if I got hit by a car, I know I'd be completely fine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But.
So when I was hemorrhaging, it was like a kind of a wake-up call.
You were hemorrhaging?
Yeah, I think so.
I wouldn't know because I didn't go to the doctor.
But my friends were like, yeah, that's a hemorrhage.
I didn't have to wear a belt for, like.
Like over a month because my hip was so swollen.
You know, I was in the air for so long after getting smashed into by a Toyota Corolla.
Well, I feel like what part of your body did you hurt?
Like what?
Just my right hip.
Okay.
Because I landed on it.
Right.
But I was in the air for so long.
I got back on the bird.
Oh, okay.
And was there any conversation between you and the driver of the Toyota Corolla?
Yeah, he said, what the hell is wrong with you and I obviously apologized.
Right.
Because that's just what I was.
I was raised to do.
Right.
Take responsibility for my actions.
So yeah, I'm feeling pretty cool that time flies when you're hemorrhaging.
Okay.
Everybody says.
That's what they say.
And it's nice to be 100%.
Well, happy anniversary, and I'm sorry, I didn't wish that for you sooner.
So we're making a podcast.
Yeah, we are.
We're here.
We're doing it.
Yeah.
It's so exciting.
Brooke and Connor make a podcast.
Yeah, that's what's happening.
Yeah.
Okay, well, what should we talk about on the podcast?
There's any number of things we can talk about.
I say we jump right in.
I think the basis of our podcast, which we're figuring out is that Brooke and I have nothing in common at all.
Right.
It's shocking that we get along, to be honest, because...
Sometimes we do.
Sometimes we don't.
But I agree there's...
I can't really think of any interests that we have that align.
Yeah, but I think it makes for cool conversation.
Like, when we go through some stuff, I know that you and I kind of butt heads a little bit with, like, Taylor Swift just came out with some stuff.
Right.
Which I have some opinions on.
And so do I.
Yeah, what are your opinions on it?
I mean, it's brilliant.
Okay.
Like, beyond brilliant and just a heads up to everybody.
I did end up leaving a group chat that Connor was a part of this weekend because he had some not so great things to say about Taylor's all too well, 10 minute version.
To me, it's just like crazy when, like, people can't even have opinions on it because.
You know I usually respect your opinions, of course, and I always will.
I don't see anything to respect about what you said.
What did I say?
You said that it wasn't good.
No, I didn't say that.
You did 100%.
That's worse than not good.
Nothing needs to be 10 minutes.
I would want this to be 15, if possible at all, in any way.
What didn't you like about it?
It doesn't need to be 10 minutes.
I don't understand why you're saying that.
Well, here's the deal.
So I've heard the song.
I like the, all too well.
I love it.
I love it.
You know what it's about.
It wrecks me.
Do you get it in any way?
I totally.
get it. It's about. What's it about? Brooke, it's about a three-month relationship that was
12 years ago from my understanding. And someone seems to be harboring some resentment instead of going
to therapy, which like- Not resentment. She's processing. You know what? You, it should take
10 minutes of process. I'm getting the feeling. You shouldn't write a song about it.
So the song is about Jake Jellenhall. Yeah, why don't you break it down for me and then I'll
share what I think. I'm feeling like you align with Jake. Well, this is going to get me in like a
lot of trouble. And it should and you deserve it. No, I just think that after watching the short
film, which like was not, again, it was 10 minutes. It's like hardly a short film. I just feel like
a little bit on Team Jake. You're making me feel sick, Connor. I don't. You came into this room
with a stomach ache, so I'm not taking your responsibility for making you feel sick. I just, okay.
What did you have for breakfast? I told you. Oh, sorry. I'm, I guess. I guess.
I didn't tell the podcast, scrambled eggs,
and you know they make me feel sick, but...
It's gross.
Like, why would you do that?
But I'm just like...
I guess it makes sense to me
that you are aligning with you.
You basically gaslit her for three months,
and that's hard to get over,
which I guess is something that you wouldn't...
I understand.
And you mind if I chime in really quick to gaslight you?
I think that...
Like, I can break down...
I watch... It's not like I'm not doing my research,
and I'm allowed to have opinions.
I wish you didn't watch.
When I watch...
Sadie Sink
interacting with
Dylan O'Brien.
Great casting, by the way.
I think that they
Encapsulate
like Tumblr in 2008.
Yeah, there they are.
So here they are.
I think it's a great casting.
I think like it's so brutal
that Taylor Swift would cast someone
that literally looks like Jake Gyllenhaal
from when they dated.
Why?
He deserves it.
Okay, brook, hang on.
Do you think he doesn't?
There's one specific scene
in the short film
that left.
Like a lot of, are you gonna cry?
Are you crying?
No, I just don't understand.
Your eyes are kind of welling.
I'm sorry, like we can move on.
But I just want to say the one thing
that really stuck with me about this,
and again, I did my research.
It's not like I'm just like,
oh, I hate Taylor Swift.
I like Taylor Swift.
And you like the three-minute version.
I like that, I love the three-minute version
rocked my world almost as much as that
Toyota Cirola that smashed into me
on the bird scooter.
And happy anniversary.
Thank you.
What I wanted to say is when I watch this video,
they're in love, it's sweet.
and then they go to this dinner.
Right.
Right.
And my understanding at this dinner is that it's his friends that he hasn't seen in how long.
And it drops her hand.
If you're coming to a dinner with me and I haven't seen.
And I held your hand.
And this is a blanket.
And this is a blanket statement.
Well, you know, I don't like being touched.
I know.
But if I went to this dinner, I haven't seen my college friends in 10 years say, that's a, like, if these are my best friends.
And you're like, what about me?
I'd be like, stop.
She didn't say what about.
Well, she reached for his hand.
Of course, she's 10 years younger.
She's 10 years younger than all these people.
And she's acting like.
He's saying, come meet me.
You're sick.
Of course she's acting like it.
She is 10 years younger.
This is just not productive.
I mean, are we?
But like, so you condone the hand dropping.
No, I think that he could have been like, oh my God, I'm so sorry.
Like, I didn't realize they did that.
But he did.
He did.
After 10 minutes of full gaslighting her.
about it. Okay, cool. So I see
a full-blown, like
they've come to terms, they're cool, they're dancing
in the middle of the night, in the refrigerator
light. Like, cool, they've moved on. So, I don't understand
the resentment that's been hard. I think it was just like constant
over and over things like that.
You know, do you see what I'm
saying at all? I just think
that a lot
can happen.
A 20-year-old shouldn't be dating a 30-year-old. I'll just say that.
Like, that's just, you're not going to see eye out.
It's due to tango, right? You can't clap
with one hand, I do agree, but I don't think he's harboring anything.
I think he's fully moved on.
And that's what's even sad.
I actually saw.
Because the whole song is like, okay, I was there.
Like, this is what I experienced.
Did you not?
Here's what I feel.
I feel that when you're 20 years old and you've told a story,
you're just going to remember it, how you remember it.
That's your new reality.
And that's how she's remembering it.
I just read a tweet actually.
I'm not shitting on it at all.
You're going to remember your reality of this podcast very different than I do.
I feel totally at turn.
with the OG song.
I did read a tweet that like years later
this girl on Twitter
was interning for Jake Gyllenhaal
and he turned his apartment
into office space.
Like that bugs me a little bit.
That's weird.
And he was playing Taylor.
Taylor Swift.
Right.
Just like, guess who's totally fine.
I know.
I know.
And that's what makes it so much worse.
To me, that's what makes it worse
that he's like, okay, whatever.
And she's 13 years later.
Like, do you think she goes to therapy?
Of course.
I think we all.
should. I think Jake should too.
Because he's fine.
You want him to feel bad.
Of course I do.
Right. I think is that where we're different?
You know what? I don't know about I don't get the red scarf.
Okay. Well, she let the first time they met, they were upstate and like right away you were
saying it was three months.
Upstate what state?
New York. Upstate New York.
And he already took her to meet his family, Maggie Jillon Hall as the sister and this.
case and she left her scarf there. And there's two different veins of theories on the scarf
that I'm seeing. One is that it's a real scarf and I'm seeing like on Dumois. Like people are trying,
somebody actually has a scarf and they're trying to get it. Am I screaming at you right now? No,
you sound awesome. Aw. But someone's actually trying to get the actual physical scarf back to Taylor.
And then what I'm seeing on TikTok is that the scarf is her virginity that she left at his sister's
house. What do you think? I just think it's dumb.
Once again, like, I feel like, it's a scar from 10 years ago.
Well, yeah, and he still has it.
He doesn't.
He might, you don't, he did have it for a bit for sure.
Think about something that you've lost, like a sweatshirt or something.
Okay.
I don't know.
I just think that, like, she's, she's really just.
Well, she didn't lose it.
He kept it.
what's the lyrics
I left my scarf
and you still have it in your drawer even now
how does she know that
well now I'm confused because
Maggie Gyllenhaal doesn't know shit about this scarf
right but now I'm confused because if they're trying to get it
back to someone
I guess he doesn't have it there's a lot of
then it's her virginity
right
I don't know okay
okay and you didn't like the short film
I did I thought it was fine
okay
you're ready to move on.
Yeah.
Okay, that's fine.
Yeah.
Let's do it.
Anyways, I don't hate the song.
It's just like hard.
Hmm.
That's like, I'm trying to think, like, sugar we're going down swinging.
Like, if they made a 10-minute version of that.
Right.
Like, I don't need it.
Like, I really liked the first one, and, like, that's enough.
And if I want to hear it for 10 minutes, I'll just put it on repeat.
Well, I think this is different because it's telling a story, and she's adding more to the story.
I can appreciate lyrics.
that have been released.
What I will say is that, like,
she wrote this 10 years ago.
I want to hear her sing it
from when she was feeling it 10 years ago
because now I'm like...
Well, I think that's even...
You know the whole concept of the vault
is like she doesn't touch her old song.
So it's like that's really how she was feeling.
She was a theater kid, wasn't she?
I don't know.
She must have.
We could ask her.
Yeah.
Yeah.
At some point.
Okay, well, I just think the reason
that people get so, like, emotional,
I mean, I would never be emotional because I don't operate on them.
I saw you tear up.
I'm very chill.
But I just think the people that get emotional think that, like, you know, you're siding with Jake in this experience.
And so many girls relate to what Taylor's going through, you know.
Yeah.
Okay.
Moving on.
Okay.
So what I like about this show and how it's going to roll through is that we can talk about Taylor Swift and we can switch gears.
and then I can mansplain NFTs to you.
Yeah, that's something I've been looking forward to.
Right.
So you woke up, like, ready to crank out some NFT.
What is you, what do you think of NFTs?
Right.
I'm just going to ask, do you mind really quickly?
Can you just roll, because I know that I've talked about to you.
Right, for sure.
You have talked about them to me.
To you.
Yeah, and I apologize for that.
I wouldn't want to Jake Gyllen Hall.
Seriously, no problem.
Okay, I can tell you what I think.
NFT, National.
It's fine.
It's money.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
National financial trusting.
Trust.
Yeah.
Right.
What is?
No.
What is it?
It's not that.
It is a non-fundgible token.
Non-fundable token.
Non-fundg.
Non-fundgible token.
There's a G in it.
Okay.
And what does that mean you ask?
What do you mind?
I'll tell you exactly what it means.
A non-fungible token means that like you can't, it's not tradable.
Like, it's like, unique.
I'm not going to be able to like.
explain that. Try. I feel like everyone I meet lately is trying to be smarter with money,
myself included, cash back here, coupons and points there. But why does it take so much effort?
We all just want to make our money work a little harder. I totally agree, Connor. I love a good deal.
But if I actually have to hunt for one or go out of my way to activate a coupon, I've already
checked out. Yeah, well, Brooke, I think I found one you'll actually like. Prime for young adults.
It's actually pretty genius. It's a prime membership for 18 to 24-year-old.
old's that actually makes Prime feel like it's built for you.
All right. You've got my attention, Connor.
But what's the catch?
What if I told you there isn't one?
I'm talking about 5% cashback on eligible purchases and categories like beauty, apparel, electronics,
PCs, and health and personal care.
You're telling me this whole time I could have been getting rewarded for the purchases I already
make?
And with no catch?
Exactly.
You're not changing your shopping habits.
You just get rewarded for them.
And the best part, the cashback is automatic.
No coupons.
No activation, no extra steps.
Now that's the kind of reward I can get behind.
No extra work, just getting rewarded for the life I'm already living.
Talking about Prime for young adults, 5% cash back, 100% made for you.
I'm talking about that.
If you're between 18 and 24, check out Prime for Young Adults
and start earning cash back on the purchases you're already making.
Prime for young adults is only available for 18 to 24-year-olds.
Terms apply.

because there's so many out there.
But I started taking Nutraful Women's Formula
a few months ago
and I've been really consistent with it.
After a while, I started noticing
less shedding, especially in the shower,
and when brushing my hair,
and my hair just looks thicker.

when you visit Nutraful.com and enter code B and C. That's Nutraful.com spelled in U-T-R-A-F-O-L.com
promo code B and C. That's what I'm saying. No, like it's not like, am I right or does,
I'm, it sucks as I'm going to, yeah. So it's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, a unique and non-interchangeable
unit of data stored on a digital, on blockchain.
blockchain it would be like a Bitcoin you can trade a Bitcoin for another Bitcoin or some
shilling that so why would anyone care so apparently so it's it's essentially that it's the future
it's a future it's the future yeah so any questions so far with this I mean I guess just like
where I'm confused is like what is the point and why you would care so on what you do with it
And if you can't trade it, what do you do with it, just look at it?
Is it a coin?
Oh my gosh.
No, it's not a coin.
In NFT, shit.
I'm not gonna, anyways, let's move on.
Let's talk about getting beat.
Um, basically, Brooke, like, basically, like, I would just say keep an eye on the space.
Okay.
This, like, I own Ethereum, which is like another form of blockchain, which is like, like,
It's like Bitcoin, but like a different, it's a decentralized currency.
This is scary, occulty.
It is a little scary, to be honest.
And the reason I got into it is, you know, that I have anxiety.
Well, yeah.
So, like, I got anxiety about feeling left out of this and missing out.
FOMO.
Right.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's what I have.
And so I got a little bit panic vibes, a panic attack vibes, where I was like, people are saying this is the future.
Right.
All my friends that are huge douchebags are just like full all in on this.
And I'm like, I need to, I need to participate.
For no other reason than you would have been sad to miss out.
I couldn't miss out on this.
I get it.
And so what's your non-fungible token doing right now?
I don't own any NFTs.
Oh, you own a, over here, a ravium.
What'd you say?
We'll get there, we'll get there, we'll get there.
Okay.
In the meantime, I'm going to circle, let's circle back, let's touch base on that, let's offline about that.
Okay, we'll chat, we'll chat, we'll chat NFTs. We'll slack. I'll fund your token off camera in a little bit.
Speaking of Kim and Pete. Yeah. So Kim and Pete have been seen a few times in New York. Yeah. Started on SNL. Yeah. You know, they kissed in that one Aladdin skit.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, I have, I have something I want to say. Say it.
So this is like big time indie A vibes, but I don't know if anyone's going to do.
It started before S&L because I have a friend that goes to the same Pete Davidson has really bad acne and backney.
Really?
Yeah. So he sees my friend's esthetician.
Uh-huh.
And he basically goes in there and spills all the beans every time he goes in.
Is your friend his esthetician?
No, my friend goes his esthetician.
Oh.
Oh my God
Yeah
She goes
And I don't even know
If I want to share this
She goes
And the front desk girl
Pete goes in
Regularly
Right
For his acne
And he basically is like
I have been hooking up with him
For like a while
Whoa
That
But they seemed so like
Like they didn't know
Each other at all on SNL
Sorry to
Sorry to do moi
This thing
But
He was also hooking him
With the Bridgerton girl
at the same time as Kim.
At the same time.
And she was supposed to come in
to his native village of New York City.
Right.
Of Staten Island.
Of Pete Davidson's Staten Island native village.
Because no one else lives there besides Pete Davidson
or has ever lived there as far as I'm concerned or no.
And she was flying in.
What's her name on Bridgeton?
Oh, Lord asked.
Not Phoebe Bridgers.
Duke, the Duchess.
The Duchess, of course.
What's her name?
The Duchess of, in real life, Phoebe Bridgers.
something. No. I swear it's Phoebe
Oh, that's her?
Yes. Phoebe...
Yeah. Yeah. Something.
Exactly. And you know I don't have my
class to say. I don't think it's our place to say it. And the listeners
will know. We've given them enough context to know. And it's not Phoebe Bridgers.
That we're talking about Phoebe from Bridgetton.
Phoebe D. Phoebe D. Let's call her Phoebe D. Okay. Since that's her name. That's fine.
I think that's, I don't agree. I don't think Pete would do that at all.
No. Well, I mean, it was like a, it was like a
They weren't exclusive.
But was he exclusive with Phoebe British?
Phoebe when he was doing that?
No.
No. So she knew that he was talking about Kim.
Oh, and she was scared to come into town because she was scared Kim was going to be around and like didn't want to cross paths.
And you're getting this from your friend's esthetician?
Yeah.
Okay.
I trust.
I know you do, but I'm going to take it with the grain of salt because I think Pete is a one-woman show.
I think he's a really good guy.
You think that vampire is a one-woman show?
I think he's a sweetheart.
No.
And I saw something that was like, oh my God, why is Pete getting all of these girls?
It's crazy.
And you know what?
Someone was like, have you ever thought he's a really good personality?
I have another thing to say, but I'm like, I shouldn't say it because it's not my place to say.
I'm just like, I'm going to leave it up to the imagination.
I think I know exactly what you're talking about.
And it's not what you think in it.
It is.
Is it that he's a big dick?
Oh.
Then I don't know, actually.
He's got a big pile of money down there.
No.
In his mom's basement?
No.
Anyways.
So basically, he was hooking him with Kim.
So now they're exclusive now.
Him and Kim.
Yeah, but before SNL, that kiss on SNL was their first kiss.
Which, like, a lot of people were.
That's the first kiss.
It's not.
Okay.
I mean, I would need to hear more about it.
Okay.
Call Kenzie after the show.
Okay, I'll call Kenzie.
But I, that's just all I have to say on that.
Okay, so that's the origin.
and well what do you think about it
I think it's weird
Why?
Because he to me
Like
Kim has like
How many kids now?
Four
Four?
Four.
Can you name them?
Um,
yeah
North
Right
South
East
Ooh that's never been done before
Tie yourself on the back for that one
Great family
It's North
Saint
Chicago
and Psalm.
Is that how you say that word?
I don't think they have those in Jewish.
Yeah.
But it's in the Bible.
It's in the Bible.
Yeah.
Okay.
Very like a biblical family
that was at Chicago.
Yeah.
Shy.
Yeah.
Cool though.
But here's what I think.
Basically I love it
because I think I do.
I think Kim's got a heart of gold,
really.
I think so too.
Heart of gold.
And I love Pete.
But what I will say,
and you've heard me say
this multiple times,
and this is something I'll always cry
about after I have one or two drinks
is that funny guys
can get the Kim Kardashian's of the world
That's written on my mirror in my bathroom
And funny girls
Girls like funny guys
No funny girls
Don't get the Kim Kardashian
of the world at all
Why don't you change that narrative? I can't
It would take years and years
And redefining
The social structure of
Society
ceiling.
Yeah.
With jokes.
I would have to remake the world.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I believe in you.
I mean, I can't do it alone, but I guess this is my plea to everyone to reinvent the wheel.
That's not, that was like the wrong phrase.
Reinventing the wheel would be just like doing the exact same thing.
Well, everyone knew what I meant.
Okay.
So moral of the story is that I am pro Kim and Pete, but it does bring light, bring to light.
That issue.
Yeah, like who else, like John Malaney.
John Maloney's with Olivia Munn.
Who's Nick Kroll with?
Nick Kroll actually has like a beautiful, sweet, wholesome wife.
You didn't call his, what?
Wait, so I was like Olivia Munn.
Oh, I'm not implying that everyone else isn't wholesome and beautiful and gorgeous,
but she's just like not known.
She's like a landscape artist, like not like Olivia Munner, Kim Kardashian, not like a signed model.
That's pretty cool.
Right.
Who else?
There's like other people that are dating.
literally everyone.
Kyle Mooney's.
I don't actually know what,
I have a big thing for all the S&L guys,
but I don't,
they're very private about the relationship.
Colin Jost.
Scarlett, Johansen.
Yeah.
Of course.
Yeah.
I mean, the examples are endless.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And give me a funny female comedian,
and I'll tell you.
Like Amy Schumer,
would be married to Chris Evans.
If it were.
If it was.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
And she's not.
Yeah.
That sucks.
Yeah.
Okay.
I think it's time we maybe switch gears.
That's fine.
And have like a little bit of an interjection here.
And I think that maybe we could prank all your dad.
Okay.
Well, now I'm feeling silly because I was supposed to text him and say, do you mind if I call you in an hour?
Because this is around the time.
He recently bought like a bike, not a Peloton, but something.
And he goes, he travels the world on it.
Like it's stationary.
It's not a Peloton.
But it's just like a stationary bike.
and he will go somewhere new every day for hours.
And he doesn't stop talking about it,
but I fear that he's on his bike.
But I'm going to give him a call.
The stationary bike traveling the world.
But I'm going to give him a call and try that,
are you familiar with the oil-changing prank that's viral on TikTok?
Yeah.
Do you want to break it down?
Yeah, I'll break it down.
Basically, usually a girl in most situations calls their dad
or boyfriend or whatever and says that she just got charged $500 for an oil change
in addition to a few hundred bucks for premium air and her tires.
So I'm going to go ahead and try that on my dad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think that'd be really funny.
I did it.
And some girl DM to me was like, this is for girls.
I do think that it plays into the patriarchy a bit.
Yeah, right.
I don't know how to do any of that.
I get scammed.
Change your oil?
Mechanic.
You do, yeah.
Every single time I go.
Yeah.
That's a universal experience.
That is a universal truth of getting scammed.
Okay, guys, do I just call on my phone right now?
Okay
Oh shoot
That scared me
I can't
Put it closer to the mic
Hey dad
Oh you're on your bike
Can I just ask you a real quick question
I'm at the mechanic
And they just charged me
500 for an oil change
I swear
I swear 500 for an oil change
And then an additional 200
For premium air in my tires
Am I what's
No
Premium man, what the fuck is that?
That's bullshit.
All those changes are 60, 80 bucks.
Really?
So I just got scammed, huh?
Yeah, you did.
Okay, well, what do I do?
Go back here to speak to the manager.
I can't do that.
Yes, you can.
Okay.
Well, can you talk to the manager?
I will talk to the manager.
Send me the bill?
Okay, I'll send you the bill.
Okay, love you.
Bye.
Wait, he's not
He's not fucking around
He was on the bike, of course
He was like, what the fuck?
I know, he was on the bike
Should I try my parents?
Yeah, please.
Okay
My mom called me twice this morning
Oh God, did you call back?
Hell no
You want to see the text?
She sent me this morning?
Yeah.
4.51 a.m.
She texts me a link
to
Ancient Tales of Wisdom
Correcting one's wrongdoings,
changing one's fate.
What could
that even be about and the image is like an like an ancient Chinese scroll did you respond no what do I
say to that I just emphasize all the links that my mom sends me and then yesterday 447 a.m. link to
healthline.com benefits of pineapple juice I saw that recently too I don't need that text or
no but you know the benefits of pineapple juice I actually do but I think there's more I think there's more
than that what you're thinking of.
Like health benefits. It's worth a try.
Okay. Yeah.
All right. Okay. Give her a ring.
Okay. Should I call my mom or my dad?
Dad, maybe.
My dad and your dad, I don't think, are going to have the same thing. Okay, here we go.
Hey, really quick. I'm at the mechanic.
I'm at the mechanic.
Yeah.
You know how I got my oil change the other day?
Yeah.
They said, oh, well, they charge me $500.
For what?
The oil change?
Where'd you have it done?
The mechanic, this is the dealership.
No, there's no such thing as a $500 oil change.
That's what it was.
And they charged me an additional $200 because they filled my tires up.
And they said it was premium air.
They put nitrogen in, which you didn't need.
Oh, shoot.
But that wouldn't even be $200.
What do you think?
I mean, no, it's, no.
I mean, there should have been, I mean, I've never heard of, I mean, you can bring your
frigging Lamborghini in for frigging $300 and have your oil changed.
Okay.
I mean, I get my truck done all the time down at Toyota and it's like 90 bucks.
Okay.
All right.
I got to go have a word, I guess, with the manager.
Exactly.
So, you know, look at a site and see what the old change is and say, hey, I came in for an old change.
I didn't ask for any of this shit.
Okay.
I didn't ask for this shit.
Okay.
So, and stand up for yourself.
That pisses me off.
Okay.
All right, buddy.
Okay.
Love you.
Bye.
Bye.
I will.
Bye.
I will.
I'll almost feel kind of bad.
I know.
That was awesome.
It's sad.
Buddy, I could do that all.
No, my dad's famous line is, uh, yeah.
Uh, oh, yeah.
Uh, my God.
But, uh, he'll do 40.
40 seconds of like
skittie did it
before he finally gets like his thought out
Oh my God that was really good I have to say
It doesn't get old at all
To me I feel really guilty
Oh really? Like I'm gonna have to call him back
The only reason I feel guilty is because I did
Something to my dad yesterday you know the whole Tom's house was broken into
He confronted the burglar
Well I text of my dad Tom's house was broken into just to see what he would say
And he was like so like
Like I must have missed some text
He was like shoot like I just got off the plane must have missed some text
Like not fully understanding
So I do feel bad about that.
Yeah.
But, oh, that was good.
Yeah, that was, I don't know how I feel about it, to be honest.
I feel kind of guilty.
Oh, it was funny, though.
So you can rest easy knowing that I got a belly laugh from that.
Oh, you did?
I did.
I was cracking up.
That's good.
I'm just gonna readjust these.
Okay, cool.
Because I feel feeling I'm having, my hair is looking pretty bad.
No, it looks awesome.
Really?
Yeah.
Thanks.
Okay, what's next?
So I want to talk again.
So, like, I have this desk here, and I like forgot that, you know, this isn't, you do you're, you're
gonna handle pop culture. I'm gonna have some opinions. Right. I gotta bring in a little bit of
you know my background. Yeah. Would you please? Texas? No. I worked in tech. Uh-huh. All before this.
Well, and I, you know, I'm a woman in tech, so I will be understanding a little bit of what you're saying.
Because you do post-tick-th because I do go on my phone quite a bit. Yeah. I do have a screen
time of 13 hours, so I am. I call myself woman in tech. Yeah. I went to the doctor and fully was like, I have a tumor.
And they were like, no.
You need blue like glasses.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, been there, honey.
Yeah.
Okay, so tell me about.
So, so, so my, my experience in tech, and I sat at a desk much like this, I never had a phone.
But my experience in tech, like I worked at Bumble.
Right.
I was a very early employee at Bumble.
And then I got fired.
Obviously, I can't hold a job.
And then so I started at Byrd, where, if you remember earlier in the,
Full circle moment. Happy anniversary, by the way.
Happy anniversary. Thank you.
Of course. Connor, I wouldn't forget that.
Hit by a car.

things I always put off because it feels so overwhelming. The last thing I want to do on a relaxing
weekend is sort through subscriptions. Check my spending or figure out.
a budget. It always feels like a bigger
task than it should be, which is why I love having

What was I going to say?
Oh, I got fired from Bird, too, shortly after getting hired.
Yeah.
But I.
That wasn't your fault.
No.
But tell me, tell me, what is your, like, when you hear the word IPO, what is that made to you?
Beer.
Yeah.
Yum.
Yum.
No.
What is, so you're thinking IPA, so that was really close, actually.
What is IPO?
IPO.
Don't panic.
It's like international.
Podcast.
Podcast.
Association.
Oh.
Just tell me.
It's an initial public offering.
Put me out of my misery.
We're going to get you invested in stuff.
Okay.
That's totally fine.
You have a money guy that does all your money.
Yeah, Uncle Jeffrey.
Yeah.
Bless his heart.
Bless his heart.
Love you.
Love him.
Love him, I dad.
Yeah, but initial public offering, that's basically like when a company goes public.
You were telling me about that.
Yeah.
You know, you're drawing my memory of it.
Yeah.
So the beautiful thing about going public is I've worked
two of the companies I just spoke on.
Both of those Bumble and Bird did go public after I left.
So I benefited nothing at all from both of those experiences.
So what were they doing when they were private?
So you're basically fundraising and like you have series of like rounds of fundraising
where you're raising money to go public and getting impressed and like I don't really
fucking get it to be honest, not that I'm saying it out loud.
And that's okay.
I don't need to because it's like a it's not for me to know.
I mean, from what makes no difference to me.
Right.
Fully, I could have just kept going with what I was saying.
Basically, when you go to the stock market.
Right.
You go public.
Where do you go to the stock market?
You go to Wall Street.
And you bring all your friends and you go to Wall Street and you're making a lot of noise and there's confetti.
It's a place.
And there's a bull.
Is it the same as Wolf of Wall Street?
Yeah, exactly the same.
Boats and cocaine.
Right.
And you basically go to the Wall Street and you have the whole thing.
thing happen, you post on Instagram, there's a, there's a big screen on Times Square, and you get to
take a picture in front of it. And you go public and you go to the stock market at an initial
public offering of X, which is a price per unit stock. Well, yeah. Sorry, I'm screaming a little bit.
I'm getting out of excited. Basically, so then you can be higher than that, you can be lower than that.
A lot of companies fail when we work went public. They flopped. What else went public recently?
I don't know, but you can be. Right. And then you, you,
Go up and if Elon Musk talks about you, you go up on the stock market.
People are buying in.
Your price goes out.
So you can't buy anything when it's private.
So when it goes public, then people can have a piece of it.
That's a tricky subject because like I got in early on Sweet Green.
Oh.
You can just do it.
I don't know.
I don't know.
You can like get in early at the market price.
I hope no one's listening to this back there and like.
Anyway, so Rivian is an electric truck company, truck company.
It's right here.
So I actually went when I was at CES with Bird and we were in, like Bird is obviously
stepped into bikes, electric bikes in Santa Monica specifically.
And there's the future of like travel is electric apparently.
And so this is going to be like a Tesla competitor.
And what's cool about that thing just needs to be plugged in.
Plug in, plug in it right into the.
Oh my God, that's huge too.
Outlet or you name it.
It's huge.
And it's a truck.
And the cool thing about these trucks, you would love it because you pull it out.
You can sit on it.
There's like a bench connected to it.
And there's a lot of other features that I can't remember now.
But we got to see it in person.
And it was so sick.
Like it's connected to Alexa.
They work with Amazon.
So I don't know.
It's really cool.
It's a cool company.
I mean, it looks cool, but I feel like I miss.
Watch this space.
That's all I'll say.
No, watch this space.
What are you talking about?
Just watch this space.
Keep an eye on this space.
Because there's a lot happening with it.
Oh,
they're going public.
That's what I was going to ask you,
how Vivian or whatever has anything to do with an IPO.
There's a measure of success.
Like, if your company's going public,
that means you're successful.
It's a good sign and they're raising money and I didn't even know.
I haven't heard of this before.
I know.
Well, I mean, watch a space.
I am watching this space.
Now that you said it, I'll be watching this space.
Watch the space.
It's exciting.
And you have some exciting news.
Okay, well, it's early.
Yeah, well, in a sense, this is going public as well.
In a sense, this is going public imminently.
But I have spent the last week rewatching all of the Harry Potter.
Why?
Why not?
Oh.
Greatest films of our generation, have you seen?
Yeah.
Do you like them?
This is actually another anniversary.
It's been 20 years since The Sorcerer Stone.
I know.
Isn't that crazy?
Yeah.
Have you seen it?
the movies? Yeah. Do you like them? Yeah. Okay, that's awesome. They kind of like make you feel good.
They do. They are like feel good. Like I love things that just like bring you back. Yeah, I wasn't allowed to watch.
Really? No, because it was violent. No, because it was black magic. Oh, and you weren't allowed to watch black magic.
No, I was raised in Christian home. Oh, I had no idea that that was even an issue. What's black magic in the Bible?
I don't know. But it's a religious thing? I guess. Do you guys don't have black magic and Jewish? I don't.
think so i mean
not in the sense that it's like wizard and witches
wizards and witches no um neither in the
i don't really i don't know what happened wow that's so interesting
there was dark magic happening in the harry potter
that they said it's dark magic yeah i guess like kind of like
i guess it's kind of like hell vibes like hell heaven and hell was it is you think i don't
know like dark magic could be hell i don't think there's hell and there's no hell in judaism
yeah i heard that yeah just i guess i guess
just like different levels of heaven maybe.
Cool.
I don't know.
I don't know this,
we're getting a little off topic.
Okay.
But anyway, I've been spending the whole week
rewatching the Harry Potter movies.
Yeah.
Watch the seventh last night.
Finish back to the first this morning.
There's eight.
I was watching seven part two.
Wow.
Yeah.
Rumor has it that there's going to be a reunion,
but no one has confirmed it.
Like no one on the Harry Potter team.
What is a reunion for Harry Potter?
Well, my understanding is it would be the same people.
It's Warner Brothers.
So it would be the same people.
did the friends reunion.
So it would just be like...
Are we getting into another Taylor Swift feud?
I mean, I just like...
That was bad. It was bad.
Objectively.
Everyone agreed that the Friends reunion was bad.
I have not heard that once come.
Whoa, we live in a different point of reality.
But that is, that reunion was life changing and touched the lives of so many people.
And you're minimizing that.
Am I being crazy?
I'm not going to say you're being crazy because I'm not Jake Gyllenhaal.
But it's just like, I don't understand.
like what you could have been, you don't like friends.
I didn't say that on here today.
No, but I know that, but I know that.
Well, I, because you've told me explicitly.
My thing, my thing with friends is like,
you can put it on its background noise.
I don't think that the plot line, and everyone agrees with the plot line is bad.
But I don't think that's why anybody's watching it.
It is funny.
No.
Well, yeah.
Well, yeah.
It's not funny.
It's a riot.
How can you watch, like, curb your enthusiasm and then watch friends and be like,
you can, like, both.
Okay.
They're different kinds of humor.
I would never.
really smart.
I wouldn't say friends
as like smart.
It's just like feel good.
Yeah.
Hanging with friends.
Lots of laughs.
It's pretty much in the title.
Yeah, you could say that.
Gimmie.
Okay.
Well, that's fine.
Okay, cool.
Well, it was a good experience for you.
I watched it.
It's not like I didn't,
again, I didn't know.
Well, I don't think you can go in,
not liking friends and come out thinking the reunion was great, you know?
Oh, yeah.
You know, so.
Yeah.
Ooh.
I just breathe in deep for the.
Have you ever just like,
breathe in deep. It feels so good. It makes me uncomfortable.
Sometimes I fully forget to breathe. It makes me anxious to breathe.
I'm a shallow breather for sure. I thought
JK Rowling was canceled. She is.
So what? She's just not going to go to the reunion?
That's a great question. We'll have to feel that out. Keep your eyes on the space.
Yeah, watch the space. Yeah. For sure.
What was she canceled for? Didn't she? She was just like
like, like bad.
No way. Yeah.
Isn't she? I can forward you some tweets.
She was tweeting?
Well, she was just like, it was like a weird time of like,
transgender issues and like what bathrooms people should use and she was like really adamant about like
trans people like sticking I like just like using the bathroom of the gender they were assigned at birth
yeah like really adamant and like would not stop and then people were just like I'm pretty sure that was
it but people were just like what the fuck and just like just like collectively were like you're done
I'm just like yeah you're done you're done and then she's just like no yeah she just like was like no I'm not
and just like kept going
and just like would not apologize
or change her views
and anyway it was really bizarre
especially because like
you're clearly brilliant
in some capacity
if you're writing Harry Potter
but like she just wouldn't
I was so out of the loop
with that thing
I think it was like a stubborn issue
she was just like not
well she's old
I don't think
I think she's in her 40s
or 50s minimum
time for it
rebrand
time for a rebrand
and Sorcer Stone
she's 56 years old
she looks great actually for 56 she does but that's an old that's an older person like that's someone
who is she I mean she's older than my parents I think my dad is 55 so she's not too old
okay so we'll keep our eyes on the space for harry potter reunion yeah but some people that age
can have opinions and be stubborn about it like oh that's what you're saying oh okay I wasn't sure
where you were getting at with her needing a night serum but um um
Oh, because you said she's 40, and I was like, she's not 40.
Okay, then she's 50.
Okay, no, she's gorgeous.
Beautiful.
Okay.
I don't think we need to talk about Zane and Gigi.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Like, it's just like.
That's like a troubling situation.
That's like domestic violence.
He's always, yeah, I would skip.
Yeah, he seems, he's troubled.
You know what I will say about Zane and Gigi?
Well, Bella wasn't getting enough attention and now she's crying all over the internet.
Is she?
Yeah, she's posted pictures of her crying.
I miss that, ew.
Man, I'm in a.
really good pop culturey.
You are.
I'm embarrassed that's supposed to be like, hey.
Yeah.
You know someone once told me I look like Bella Hadid?
Yeah.
Okay.
That's it?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Cool.
Who did you pull up a picture of the other day and say that you looked like?
Oh, Emma Robert.
Because you were both wearing a striped shirt.
No, I put on the shirt to show everyone that I looked like her.
Yeah.
Your hair was the same color, too.
When her hair was brown, we have a similar.
I saw it. I saw it in the pick. I agree. Do you mind if I actually pull this up? No, I'm the one that
agreed with you. Someone else said no. Because I said it because I have a big crush on Evan Peters
who dated. He's been pretty quiet. Well, he doesn't, he's just like a very humble, quiet guy
from what I know. I know him well, you know. I really want to tell the story because this is
reminding me
what
of you meeting
Jacob
a party the other night
you tell that
I'll look
for me and Emma
oh yeah that's it
oh my god
they found the picture
oh my god that's the picture
but I need to find
the pick stitch of
first of all that's me
yeah I do see
do you see that
but let me find
anyway the reason I was like
oh I love Evan Peters
you know crazy he dated
Emma Roberts
I looked just like her
and everyone started laughing
and I was like
I don't what's funny
and they were like
you don't look like her
and then I was
deeply deeply upset
and then proceeded to
Go home change into an outfit that looked like her and pick stitch our pictures together.
It's hard.
Post it on my Instagram story and say, do I look like Emma Roberts?
And which most people said now.
So like I have one or two people I look like Max.
Can I say them?
Yeah, sure.
You look like Tom Holland.
That's flattering.
Here.
I can't never take my shirt off.
Do you see it?
Identical in that picture specifically.
See?
Yeah, I do see it.
Yeah.
I'll favorite that for future reference.
Yes.
Okay, Tom Holland.
Yeah.
And would I know this one?
I just know there's another one.
The guy from Outer Banks.
No. Tom Holland.
I don't remember who it was, but I think it was Anwar Hadid.
Oh, yeah. And you've gotten Matthew McConaughey.
I think that's more of a vibe thing.
Like, yeah.
Yeah.
But like when I look at you, I think Amy Winehouse.
I know you do.
Were you there when...
And it's hard for me to say you look like anyone else because I think Amy Winehouse.
Right.
I don't really see it, but I don't really see it.
but I do like people will come up to me.
Yeah.
Someone came up to me this weekend.
Yeah.
And it was like,
I'm so sorry.
I have to stop you in the street.
Yeah.
Tell you that you look like Amy.
Yeah.
I do get that a lot.
Yeah.
I get her and Sarah Silverman.
Yes.
Yes.
But I,
because you have strong features.
Like great eyebrows, dark hair.
Thank you.
Yeah.
That's really nice of you to say.
Which like both of those people do too.
Right.
Sarah Silverman specifically.
When it comes down to it.
it has something to do with me being 99.98%
Ascanazi Jewish according to 23andMe.com.
And I'm sure that they are as well,
if I had to guess.
And I'm sure we're,
I keep getting emails from 23 and me
that's like you have new relatives
and it's new cousins that are related to me
on both sides.
How does that happen?
So it's like they are related to me
through my mom and my dad.
Because when you're so much of one thing,
I do think I'm inbred a bit.
not in an offensive way at all.
Just normalize being inbred, I guess.
Yeah.
Totally.
Yeah.
Okay.
What were, you were saying?
Oh, you want to have a Jacob Allorty store?
Yeah, I guess that was horrible.
While we're here, it's so funny because I...
Excuse me, I must have had a frog in my throat.
I'm just going to tell a really quick precursor and then you...
I just want to say the reason I brought this up is because the Evan Peters situation
like freaks me out because I think if you were ever in a room with Evan Peters you would do the
exact same thing.
That what I did to Jacob?
Yeah.
I think I was being mild when I met him.
But basically what happened was I went to like a live taping of Jimmy Kimmel.
Yeah.
And just like that anyone can do like you can get tickets.
And he was the guest and I was sitting front row and I was under the impression that we had a connection.
At least on my end.
Right.
Okay. You can take it away. And that was like weeks before the story that Conner's about the thing.
We were at like an event the other night. Oops. And Jacob already walks in with Noah Centennial.
Centennial. Or whatever. And I chatted with him for a second. With Jacob or Noah?
Jacob. And then he's with our friend Jack for a while. And then every time I turn around, Brooke is closer and closer to.
him like chest to chest he's obviously like eight foot tall huge dude and brook is like this
like like staring up and i'm gonna end up finally i was like hey brook and wait what did you what were
you yelling at him well i was just like well oh i see you've met my friend jet no that was the
second night well at first i was like hey like so nice to see you again do you remember me and i was
like a few drinks in i was like do you remember me and he was like from what and i was like from jimmy
Kimmel and he was like what and I was like I was sitting front row do you remember me yeah and
he didn't but he was so thankful I was well I'm sure he was flustered that he was of course
pressure on Jimmy and he was yeah it was he did great by the way you did great Jacob I know I'm sure
you're watching this um but he didn't remember me um which was a bit of a shock to the system
and then I was like okay huge fan whatever great left and like then I started like having a few more
drinks progressively and then this is when you came in. You didn't see that first meeting. But the second
meeting was our friend Jack was talking to him. And I think they were exchanging numbers and I just
go up, put my arm around Jack and go, I see you've met my friend Jack, Jacob. And then I feel
Connor like tugging at me from the back. Do you remember that? Yeah, because I would because you
hope someone would do that to me too. And I don't think I responded. The thing that I do, no, the thing,
well, you were fine. But the thing that I do and you do is like when someone,
someone is there.
Fixating.
It's like, okay, cool, that's my night.
I don't even need to see my friends.
I'm like, I need to go up to that person six times until I have the perfect interaction with that.
I kept trying new things with him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Anyway.
When I did see you that second time, you were one centimeter away from his body.
Right.
Right.
I was getting a little too close probably for sure.
But I couldn't hear him or see him.
It was loud.
No, he's so tall that I, he had to lean down and I had to, it was just really.
was trying to be polite.
Right.
So that I would be able to hear him
and he would be able to hear me.
Yeah, and that's it.
It's fine.
It's like whatever.
Yeah.
Have you had any celebrity?
Yeah, and I don't want to talk about it.
I had one this weekend.
I don't want to talk.
You did?
Yeah, I talked about it.
To me?
Yeah.
This weekend?
I was with you this weekend.
When I went to the show on Friday.
Oh, okay.
Okay, we can, we can play his past that.
That one hurts me to do.
Yeah.
You watch any TV.
Did you?
Yeah, that's all I do, really.
What's your favorite?
thing to watch on TV.
Actually, I will say, we have nothing in common except...
Curbure Enthusiasm.
For our love for Curbure enthusiasm.
New season blows ass.
Really? I think it's...
I think there are good parts and bad parts.
But you might not know.
Connor and I lived together for three months.
Yeah.
And he would always put curb on and I would like throw a fit.
And I was like, this is stupid.
Like put friends on.
This sucks.
Oh, sorry.
Are you well?
Mike.
Oh.
And I was like put friends on and I would like adamantly, I was being really stubborn and wouldn't watch it.
Because I've always been like anti-Signfeld because Seinfeld always came on after Friends.
And that was very much like a signal Friends is over and that I hated that.
The visceral.
That's like Pavlov's dog.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I just like Associated Curb.
You look like Fran Dresher too.
That's another person.
That's really.
I love the nanny.
It's one of my favorite shows.
Yeah.
Thank you, Connor.
Of course.
I'd go as far as I bet.
She's also 99.98%.
Ascanaji.
But what was I saying?
Oh, I was like really like that curve.
Yeah, you just don't like her.
And then like the day we moved out.
Yeah.
And I moved in my own apartment.
I started watching it.
Yeah, I just like.
And I'm glad to see you had a bit of a turn around there.
Did you finish?
Did you watch it from like start to end with the season?
No, I finished like a month of two months ago.
I meant like that whole giant blanket while I was watching curb.
Yeah.
And I finished.
when it was before season 11
and now I'm watching season 11 as you watch season 11
live time. I hate that it's live time
because you would rather just binge it all.
Yeah. I get that.
I would. Yeah, I like having something to look forward to
because it's Sunday nights waking up every Monday
to a fresh episode of curb.
It's just like not great this season. It's kind of disappointing.
I think it's not great because it's like
now it has been a long, it's 11 seasons. That's a long time to do anything.
And it's kind of the same thing over and over again.
It's a very rest of the base show.
say like unrelated to this new season if i ever met larry david i feel like he would like
hate you no we would hang out like i think we'd be really very close oh do you really
i'd be interested to see that i think like best friend vibes like not even like a really i think you
have completely different vibes no i see a lot of myself really i i don't know middler i'm a great middler
well you're referring to how you have to be at the middle of the table yeah i agree you're good at
that this episode was about being a middler and like who's where you're seated at like a long dinner table yeah
i agree but i just i think you can talk and talk and talk and talk about random things but larry's
talking about very very specific things that upset him i feel like you're less complainy yeah you get
mad at me when i complain constantly yeah i don't complain but i do get bugged by stuff right and i just
talk i just bring it up i'm like this you know what i can't do what when the table is
a little bit wobbly.
I know.
Well, I told you about that invention.
That's just like that little thing you stick under the wall.
Yeah.
Isn't that related to your family?
I think I might have said that my mom invented that.
And I did probably, I did lie.
You lied.
She invented a thing that was just basically a piece of paper that you would put your gum into.
I think that's what she says every time we go out.
Is she invented the, maybe pop-up or something put something.
Maybe it's pop-up.
It could also totally be Uncle Jeffrey.
But I do feel that that has a time.
tie to my family, the table stopper thing.
But yeah.
So Euphoria, we both watched it.
Recently, we didn't watch it when it was trending, but we watched it recently.
Like last week, we had different experiences.
Yeah, I think that everybody goes through a bit of a personality.
Yeah.
Or just exploring yourself and exploring.
What was your outcome?
Well, I watched that and I was like, I don't ever want to touch alcohol or anything.
like that's scary.
I don't want to be affected in any way.
Yeah.
Like, I want to be fully in control of myself.
Yeah.
And I think you had the opposite.
I went on a bender.
You went on a full bender post euphoria.
Yeah, I did every.
Right.
I remember that.
It was an experience.
And then I was like, oh my God, wait, that's because I watch it for you.
That's because I watched you watch for you.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
That scared me that show.
Oh.
Yeah.
I thought it was sick.
I mean, it was the best show I've ever seen,
but it did not make me want to do drugs.
Yeah.
I don't know.
That's fine.
To each their own. Again, to each their own.
Different strength of their own. Totally. Yeah. Completely. Yeah.
It didn't. I get Zendaya now, so like I watched that show and then I was like,
and I've never like not gotten Zendaya. I think she's awesome, but I like, she deserves to be
super famous. I just like never. I'm not like, oh, I need to watch us because Zendaya isn't it?
Or Zendaya? Zendaya. Zendaya. And but then Dune comes out and I'm like, oh, oh, God.
I need to watch because Zendaya isn't it? Right.
She just don't think has a single line in the movie
She had three lines
Yeah
And I think she was only on set for three to five days or something
And now her and Timmy are like best friends
We bonded for life over this film
You guys met for like two days
Isn't that crazy?
That was
The film itself
Did you understand one word?
I mean
I think what I've heard
Because I was watching it and I was like
I must be like
No
like intellectually like I
someone's
I tweeted about it
I was like is this
sci-fi or is it bad
and
I thought it was current Middle East
present day Middle East
everyone was like
what is wrong with you like that movie
was brilliant I'm like
I must be the dumbest person
on the planet
rocks for brains
I didn't under
I was staring at
looking up the I had the movie
version of the Wikipedia plot up
I'm following along
looking at the movie
looking at my phone for the Wikipedia plot
no
Not one thing made that.
You know what I felt like when I was similar vein?
I felt like when you start reading a book and then you read the page and you're like, oh, yeah, I don't even remember.
And you have to keep going back and they didn't give us the option to do that.
I'm like, what is it?
Who?
I mean, the voice?
I know.
I don't know.
What was that?
I don't.
Where did that even come from?
What voice?
The voice.
Oh, the mom.
And Timmy.
And Timmy?
You're not going to be able to help me.
I'm not going to help you.
I don't know.
It's like we're on a ship.
It's, um,
Connor,
I,
Thanos vibes.
Like they're taking over planets.
There's spices involved for some reason.
From what I understood from the Wikipedia plot.
Yeah.
I read the Wikipedia plot to the whole book too.
Yeah.
After.
So what I think it's basically,
there's a lot of different planets.
Yeah.
And one of them,
the ones And Dea lives on,
has the spice.
And I think that you would want that.
And basically,
Everything, the bagels.
So you want that spice for sure.
Yeah.
Think of it as a planet of everything like the bagel seasoning.
Ooh.
And Timmy's family somehow became in control of the land of the spice.
But they weren't there.
They weren't there.
They went to a third party planet to control the land of the spice because it would actually make them die if they were exposed to the spice.
But they want it at the same time.
They want it, but it would kill them by con.
You know what?
It pissed me off.
You know what really?
Really?
When the dad died?
No.
Spoiler alert.
What?
Ooh.
Oh, did you catch that the dad died?
I didn't.
No.
No.
When did he died?
He died.
When Timmy started crying.
Who's the dad?
Oscar de Laurenti?
Yes.
Oscar.
Okay.
I'm thinking they're going to pull it up for us.
Wait, hang on.
I have a question.
Yeah.
No, no, no.
I don't have a question.
You have a comment?
I have a comment and a concern.
How about Timothy Shalamee posting about Dune 2 the day after Dune was released?
It was like, oh, Oscar, I just.
Like Oscar Isaac.
Oscar Isaac.
Apparently Dune, what we saw is literally just like a preluse to Dune 2.
Tell me that before I see it, please.
I want to grab somebody, be like, I want to grab everybody collectively and be like, what?
Yeah, I'm right there with you.
Yeah.
Well, it feels like Apple releasing a new iPhone the day after they do the thing on this, like, Tim Cook being like, this is the new iPhone.
And then like, we're like, yeah, let's all buy it.
We buy it.
And then the next day, it's like, we got another new iPhone.
It's like, I don't even get the features.
Yeah, I didn't really, really, I was scared for myself by how little I understood.
When it ended? I was like, when did it start?
And what happened? Yeah. Okay. Anyway.
Moral of the story, I didn't get it.
You know what, Brooke? I didn't get it either.
And that's like we have in common.
If that's like a cool thing that we both.
And I don't think we're alone.
I'm not going to revisit it also.
And I do think that the people that do understand it, like they should be escorted immediately to the White House.
I think like if I'm going to watch a movie about space
Oh I forgot how much you don't like space
Shoot yeah yeah you must not have liked that huh hated it
I was having a panic and I thought the spaceships were tanks like war more tanks
I don't even remember seeing a space show moving on in the movie all right
So Paul Rudd was voted sexiest man alive agree disagree agree I think I mean I think he's
I think he's hilarious too 100%
Look at us.
Look at us.
Look at us.
I don't even think there's anything to say.
Like, yeah, of course he's a sexist man alive.
I mean, come on.
And it's, he gets better to be Paul Rudd and wake up every morning and look in the mirror and say, I look better every single day.
That's what a feeling.
He just like, like, think of, even like when he was on clueless, like cute.
No, but you know what?
He was on friends.
He looked better than he looked on friends 40 years ago or whenever they felt like.
He gets better looking.
Every day it's scary.
He must have the Sorcerer Stone or some sort.
Is that what keeps people alive and looking young?
Who had that in the Harry Potter movie?
Dumbledore.
Well, basically at the beginning of the movie.
He's no Paul Rod.
He's no Paul Rudd.
Basically at the beginning of the movie,
it was in the bank, and then Hagrid took it and then hit it.
And then Voldemort was trying to get it.
Okay, you can watch if you.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, nothing but good things to say about Paul.
Proud.
Proud to be.
Proud to be in American.
In American.
Where Paul Rudd is the sexiest man alive.
Yeah, proud of my country.
Finally.
Finally.
You have my vote.
It's my president.
That is my president.
Okay.
Oh, you were telling me about this.
I don't even want to talk about it.
Okay, that's completely fine.
Kendall Jenner in her dress.
I just saw it.
Seconds ago.
I mean, I'm torn because on one hand, like, if you are Kendall dinner and you look like that.
She's a spectacle.
Right. And you look like that. Sure. Go ahead. Wear that dress. But I do think know your place, know your time. The thing is like that you shouldn't have worn that to your friend's wedding. She didn't. Oh. She wore a bridesmaid dress that was the same as Gigi to the reception. To the reception. The party.
The reception, of course. Also. And the bride was still in her bride town. Also. Yeah. No. Yeah. No. No. She changed. They went to the reception and shook some ass. I think I get confused. This is the bride not wear her wedding dress. She changed. You wear it to the reception and then.
I think a lot of brides change into something more flirty and fun.
Really?
To dance.
Okay.
I could be wrong.
I have never been invited.
I feel like people just keep wearing their wedding dresses, but whatever.
Okay.
Well, different jokes.
Different jokes.
Different folks.
Yeah.
I think what I will say is, like, if I invited Kendall dinner in my wedding,
I'd ask her to, I'd forcibly remove her.
No, I'm like, you wouldn't.
It's impressed for my wedding.
Oh.
She's in every, she's got headlines about this wedding because she's, that's why you get invited.
If you don't want her dressing like that
Don't invite one of the most
Gorgeous people
No I think if I ever wasn't even in the same room as Kendall
I'd ask for her to be removed
Yeah
I would expect
Love her but I don't want to be anywhere in a 10th
No that was me that was me meeting like
Jacob Lordy
What should I talk about?
Jacob All righty Tyler Cameron
Mm-hmm
Um
At least you didn't almost throw up
on Tyler Cameron speaking of
That's true
Yeah
It's rough for you
Yeah
And that was from
We went on a plane that did 15 parabolas for a Dr. Pepper campaign.
And they said to us, no one really, it's pretty rare that you would get motion sick.
But just in case.
For like five minutes in, I couldn't find her.
They strapped her to the ground because we were in zero gravity.
I'm doing backflips.
And Brooke has this giant like captain of this plane like on her.
He was so sweet.
Holding her down to the ground and she's white in the face.
Right.
And then I was throwing up into this bag and they, you have to hold the bag.
like on on your face basically or your throw up will float and Tyler Cameron and Dale Moss are
just like floating by her and she's vomiting into a bag that's funny yeah um okay this is going to be fun
we have another segment audience advice um that our followers that our vast amount of followers sent in
right um to ask for advice and we are so happy to give you advice we're in the best spot to give advice
Successful 25-year-olds.
We're looking forward to it.
Going into this advice segment, I do want to say, no, I don't.
Okay, go ahead.
Okay.
Well, I, you know, I don't have my glasses.
So would you mind reading the first one?
You can do it.
So this first question request came in from at Wheel Spoon on one social platform.
My roommate is the worst and will not do the dishes.
Been there.
Two questions.
One, what's your worst roommate you've ever had?
And two, how do I get them to do the goddamn?
dishes.
Okay.
Jump in here.
Tap in.
I'll tap.
What comes to mind when I think of the worst roommate I've ever had was senior year of
college.
I was obsessed with making chicken soup and I live...
Yum.
So good, right?
And I lived with five girls.
Soups.
We all had our own rooms.
Sorry.
Yeah.
Do you have anything else you want to add about soup?
Just soup is good.
And I had this like really nice.
giant soup pot that my mom got me because she was really like proud of me for learning how to cook
and making healthy meals and it was like this expensive nice pot and one day I couldn't find it when I
went to go make my soup and like a pot a big pot is not something that just like goes missing oh shit
is it going to be in this girl's room so I'm looking everywhere and then finally I'm like I'll check this
girl's room like why would it be there but she just like takes cups sometimes and hordes them and
I was like I don't see why a pot would be there she's using my pot and
as a trash can for cut tips dirty cute tips I can't make that out beat her up I didn't even say anything
I just took the pot and of course me is like thinking oh is she going to be mad at me because I went
into her room without asking but then you have to be apologizing is a Toyota girl that hit me um but no I would
say that was like the most that's VOTS startling roommate experience that I've ever had and what I did about
that was, didn't speak to her and was passive aggressive for the next six months of the lease.
Yeah, sure. Yeah.
My worst roommate experience was 2019, I lived with two adult men and they got in a fight and got
restraining orders on each other. And I had to be the medium between that to communicate because
they weren't allowed to talk to each other even though we lived in a three bedroom apartment.
Right.
So that would be...
By law, they weren't allowed to speak.
And I hated them both.
And you went...
Well, I can't see that.
Well, yeah, I can't.
I hated them both.
And so that was crazy.
That's bad.
I had to, like, on the weekend stuff, go to the police and to, like, finish their case.
And I was like, I don't care if they live or die.
Honestly, like, I definitely don't care if they're, like, buddies after this.
So that was it.
And then...
Were they fighting constantly or not speaking to each other?
One of them...
Matt so this was this is interesting actually so like one of them got really sick in February of
2020 or like yeah February of 2020 so it was like pre-locked February like right before March which is when
everybody went into lockdown and like we were hearing about this thing COVID but it was like in China
only like it was in the US and I was like ew that's gross but like this this guy worked from home already
so he would like lay on the couch all day and he was like so sick and he was using all the dishes and I was
like I'm just gonna not ever interact with him until and like it's just gross vibes and my one roommate was like dude he's laying on the couch COVID is like happening like what if he has COVID we can't be anywhere near him and he's using all the dishes and like leaving him in the sink after like glasses that we like touch our right did you have a preference in your roommates like did you like the one that had COVID a little bit better no no no the opposite yeah yeah but um so I heard them when I got home from a run they got in the fight and then I heard them hitting each other and then they
got the one roommate was like, they're 30 by the way.
Right.
Like 30, like in their 30s now.
And, you know, don't get in a quarrel.
Like figure it out.
Right, right.
Like you're grown men.
They got in a fight because they also shared an Amazon account.
Were they friends before?
No, no.
So they just.
There's so much wrong with it.
I could talk about that for an hour.
Wow.
Okay.
And how would you like go about navigating that and getting that?
Oh, I got let go of my job the next week and then never, I broke my lease and never talked to.
So I guess what me and Connor would say in reference to how do I get them to do the goddamn dishes is be passive aggressive and don't speak to them and leave the situation.
Remove yourself.
Buy your own dishes.
Yeah.
Well, no.
Well, we are good at advice, huh?
Yeah.
Oh, one thing I used to do talking about passive aggressive, this is the worst, this is the worst thing I've ever done.
Senior year, my senior year, I lived with five guys.
and the one roommate specifically was just gross
and I was like you gotta do your dishes
and it was just him every single time
Did you say that to him?
Because I was thinking an option would be to say
Would you mind do this?
Anytime, any time I would call him out and be like
Oh my God, I'm sorry like oh my God
Like my bad
Well now I seem like a dick
Right and I was just like you're gross
So I started putting his plates like in front of his door
Of his bedroom like on the ground.
Wow
Yeah
Yeah I mean I think
like the first thing that a rational person would do that me and Connor probably have not done
would say hey would you mind pitching in a little bit more in doing the dishes like I think that's
normal I have not done that when I've had issues and I've had tons of them I'll key your car before
that being said one of my roommates asked me if I could if I like super sweetly like would you
like didn't take out the trash more and I was like didn't speak to her for three weeks I was like
fuck you yeah how dare you ask me that and I didn't take out the trash
Yeah
And now I'm reflecting on that
That's good
Yeah
It's about personal growth
If I had been in that situation now
I would have said
Sure
Watch that space
Watch that space
I'll watch the space
For the trash
And I'll be taking it out
Yeah well now you live alone
I have growth
I do I love living alone
I live alone as well
I know
Do you love it?
I don't know
I know you're still warming up to it
I don't know
I don't know I like
There's a spider in my house
I'm not gonna kill it
Because it feels nice to have company
Yeah
I will be killing them
I love having no one near me, I think.
Cool.
Yeah.
So the next question is from Jack reached her.
Jack reached her.
My new girlfriend wants to come over to my apartment for dinner tonight.
But the only thing I have to cook with is my air fryer.
What should I do?
How do I impress her?
I mean, you came to the right pair.
You came to the right two.
We just both separately bought air fryers.
Air friars.
And I mean, it changed my life.
Not having to bend down.
to turn on the oven, like, that's, like, what more could you ask for?
That's what I love about my air fryer.
I could go on for my entire life.
Like, I could talk for an hour and a half about my air fryer.
Actually, my last TikTok I posted was you talking about your airbron.
Just 60 seconds of me being, like, I'm stoked.
Like, I want to join a Facebook group.
Right.
Like, I want to, like, know everything I can do with this.
Like, I...
It's your baby.
It's my baby.
It is my son, and I'm, like, proud of it.
You know, like, I can't wait to get home and, like, throw whatever.
like whatever I have and it can do anything.
I think it would be really impressive to cook a full meal in an airframe.
Something that you do that's interesting that I don't do is you throw everything in it once.
Like cassidias, nuggets, whatever, meatballs, empanadas, all in it once.
Pasta.
Yeah, everything in it once.
I could throw.
Oh my God.
So what would you recommend he make in the air fryer?
I mean, you name it.
You can look up online like full course meal via air fryer.
there is an abundance of articles.
Like you could do a steak.
You could do, ready?
You could do a steak, two steaks, whatever.
You can cook them at the same time
depending on the size of your air friar.
Cook to perfection, mind you.
It's just like, we're so lucky to live on the plane of existence
on a reality where air friars can fully cook a steak
to perfection.
Like, I just got the chills a little bit.
I was getting really hot.
Oh, shit.
Oh, God.
And Paul Rhodes is a sexiest man in alive.
Yeah.
We're just, it's a special time.
I would do, depending on what your preference is.
I'll do a couple.
Steak, cooked to perfection.
You can do medium rare and there's settings on it.
I'll just like look it up and a baked potato.
And guess what?
You can get frozen greens from Trader Joe's or Whole Foods or something and throw them in there.
And you could do veggie.
You have all the food groups.
You could.
Veggie, starch, meat.
Do you put your veggies in with your meat at the same time?
because there's two different settings.
No, I don't.
Yeah, okay.
I was just checking.
Because meat has to be cooked.
Right.
Differently than the veggies.
So you would just move forward with the steak and the empanadas together and the veggies separate.
No.
No, you wouldn't do empanadas and steak together.
You wouldn't?
Okay.
No.
So the next question is from Michelle, my smell.
Yesterday I woke up with a massive nosebleed and I got blood all over myself.
The only problem is that I didn't realize until.
I got to school and everyone saw.
Ooh.
Yeah.
Yikes.
How am I ever going to get my classmates to stop calling me Bloody Mary?
How do you keep your chin up when you're embarrassed, when you embarrass yourself in high school?
I think, like, you just have to completely reclaim and own the experience.
And, like, instead of having other people call you bloody Mary, you need to start calling yourself Bloody Mary.
And then it'll just die down because no one's going to stop.
No one's going to care if you care.
You know?
What do you think?
Mm.
Like I would just full send being bloody Mary
You would?
Like that's how I go
Go to Hot Topic and
Anything that's like my whole thing
Is anything embarrassing that happens to me
I'm posting it on TikTok
Yeah
Like I'm getting ahead of it
Like yeah for sure
Like you know
Everybody knows my most embarrassing
Like you'll know
If something embarrassing happens
How do you go to school?
I mean I just don't really feel sorry
for this person because
I do not realize you're covered in blood
Well
Woke up
Covered in blood
No offense
Yeah, that is an interesting situation.
I had one experience just like that.
Really?
Yeah, it's kind of raunchy, but I'm going to, should I tell you?
Yeah, would you?
I was in high school.
I think it was senior year, and I was at like a house party, and I got a bloody nose,
but I didn't know, and I was with a girl in a bathroom, like a half bath, so there was
like barely room.
And we were kissing, and I was facing.
facing her and there was a mirror behind her.
That's terrifying.
And I looked and it was like darkish,
but I was like there's shit all over my face.
And then I like turned on the light
and like it was all over her face too.
So we both looked bloody.
And it must have taken a minute to find the source too.
That's the scary part.
I was like she bleeding or am I bleeding?
Right.
I was bleeding.
It was me.
I didn't,
I haven't talked to her.
See, in that situation,
I would probably like,
Not even clean myself up, I would just walk out and be like, guys, this happened to me.
Ha ha ha ha.
This did, get ahead of it.
Basically, this did happen to me.
And I was just like, well, what are you going to do?
I don't think nosebleeds are embarrassing.
I don't either.
I think kind of sick.
Yeah.
If I got a real.
I don't think they're sick, but I don't think it's like, ew.
Oh yeah.
You know?
I think like, yeah, I don't think blood is like, ew.
Okay.
Cool.
That's what I'm feeling.
Okay, I mean, we've been talking for a really long time.
We've been talking for so long.
You got to run off and do anything today?
No, do you?
I'm booked and busy.
You're booked and busy?
What are you doing?
I'm going to go to Venice and I am on the Friday Beers podcast this afternoon.
Today?
Yeah.
Wow.
You've been doing a lot of talking today.
I will, I mean, probably go knit or something?
Cool.
I don't know.
I'm making a special project.
Feel free to ever make me.
Would you wear something?
If you could make me a whole sweater, I'll pay for it.
Okay.
That's it.
You never expressed any interest in my knitting.
All right, that's all the time we have.
Thanks for...
Thank you guys, seriously.
Yeah, that was...
I mean, this...
You're watching Brooke and Connor make a podcast.
You are.
And that is what it is.
At the end of what we were talking about is this.
Yeah.
And it's happened.
And it's happened.
And I think...
Hopefully it'll happen again.
Soon.
Cool.
Hi, everyone.
Bye.
This week on Close.
Friends.
But she was able to, as they say in France, jack him off during the Simpsons movie.
I tricked you into being on this podcast, kind of.
Not really.
You are primed and lubed up to become a 48-year-old.
I'm so ready.
Are you going to do it right now?
Are you going to talk about why it looks like you feed yourself?
Sign up on TMG Studios.tv to watch a full bonus episode.
Heaven's alive.
You look really terrible, big devil.
Tell me about little devil.
It's hotter than heck down here, and I burnt out.
Here, try a Red Bull.
It's devilishly good.
Red Bull, eh?
Oh, that tastes heavenly.
But, but what's this?
Oh, dear. I forgot about that.
Wings?
Wings.
I can't have wings.
Not at my position.
Red Bull gives you wings.
