Starting point is 00:00:24 Sweet boy is sick today. Hi guys. I'm just like, I'm like, like my energy just got really low thinking about like you not feeling well. You can't. And dancing. And it's just like making me upset. And it's just like,
Starting point is 00:00:38 I think just I'm about to start crying. I'm serious because it's like a testament to how hard you've been working. Oh, bro. I'm serious. And you're run down and it's making me upset. Oh, I don't want to touch you. Yeah, I was going to hold your hand. It's just making me upset.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Especially considering your hard work is not going as appreciated as I would prefer. Bro. I'm serious. I love you. Love you. It's making me upset. And I don't like that you're not feeling well. My sweet boy.
Starting point is 00:01:04 I feel like it only makes sense to get sick during this. Like how, I don't know how no one else is sick. What happens if you, like, are too sick to dance? Is that just not an option? I don't know. I don't know. Because, like, I know, like, if, like,
Starting point is 00:01:20 you can, like, you can, like, you can, like, you can, like, if I, like, If I, like, if my throat hurt, like, I would not be able to dance. So I wonder what would happen. I don't know. I think practice is worse than the dance. You can go out and dance, of course. Sure. No, like hours of practice.
Starting point is 00:01:38 It's just like, it's not going to work for me. I know. Who knows? I hope it's not strep. Feels a lot like. Can I see your throat? Show me your throat. What was that Harry style, Sarah Lee?
Starting point is 00:01:51 S&L. Send me a picture of your open throat or something. like that. What? Show me a picture. Show me your throat. Do you want to see it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Because you can see, you can tell if it's strep if you, if you have, if you, if you have that's, that specific. No, you don't have strap. It's just red. Okay. Good. You don't have that, like, cute little white stuff. Ew, it's white when you get strapped. When you strep?
Starting point is 00:02:13 Yeah, it's like disgusting. What? Do you want to see a picture of a strep throat? I don't know. It's really gross. Because I haven't eaten. I don't know. I see the strap throat.
Starting point is 00:02:24 It's just like not pussy, but like I don't know what that is. Like tonsil stones? No, not tonsil stones. And it's white? Your throat is white? Yeah, I'm going to show you on my phone. Oh, that's disgusting. Yeah, it's like, there's like, yeah, it's like pretty damn gross.
Starting point is 00:02:39 It looks like the Haley Bieber smoothie for marijuana. Yeah, it's like really gross. Okay. Oh, that's, that's yucky. Yeah, it's yucky. Okay, well, thank God. I think you just have a sore throat and I think something's going around. Something is going around.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Everybody's sick. but you're so strong it will be so great our leading man and we'll push through I'm it's kind of you know when you're sick and you're like I'm gonna feel so good when I feel good yeah that's what I'm looking forward to that's all look forward to the other side yeah but we say that every time like we'll be so excited like if we have a stuff knows it's like wow remind me to to check my privilege next time I can
Starting point is 00:03:16 I'm gonna try because you know every time we get a stuff knows it's like the next time I'm able to breathe like I'll never take that for granted and like we always do Mine was like swallowing. Is evil? Do you mind making a note in next week's stock to check our privilege? Like at the very top be like nostril check and swallow check. And I don't like it would be rude for me to check mine right now because like it would be boasting because you don't feel well but like checking my privilege. Wow, that's awesome.
Starting point is 00:03:44 No, I'm happy for you. I'm sorry. I'm happy for you. How are you feeling after last night's stance? Good. I need to see off my phone, but good. I'm just like, obviously, like, I thought you did amazing. And, like, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:04:02 Like, I know that I have no dance experience and, like, can't really look at a dance through a technical lens. And, like, I'm obviously very biased in your favor. But I'm also right. Three things can be true. And, like, the judges are judging everybody based off of their ability to, take their feedback and put it into action and you do that every single week and I for whatever reason they're not acknowledging that and that's what's bothering me like you're improving and you're
Starting point is 00:04:34 taking their feedback to heart like you went full eating man last night and they're just like not giving you the same flowers that they're giving everybody else and like you're being super mature about it I'm not I I hear you I hear you I hear you I I was kind of bummed last night that it wasn't like more of like a, I kept me in like, Eh, ha, ha, ha ha, ha. And then remember what you guys told me last? Yeah, I was like, I did, I did exactly what you said.
Starting point is 00:05:05 So it's just like annoying and like you're doing so well. And it's just like nothing, like obviously it was so fun to be there last night. And it is like just like a, it's all, it's fun. But it just gets to a point where it's like, Did you have fun? Of course I had fun. But it's like, can, I wish, I almost wish the judges would have a little bit more fun when you're up there, you know?
Starting point is 00:05:25 It is. Loosen up for, loosen up my buttons. Looseen up my buttons, babe. I, yeah, I, so this is the only thing I'll say about the, like everyone's going to be hard on yourself. It was so loud in the room.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I could not hear Mariah. Because everyone was cheering. After I did the hump, the ground, I could not hear Mariah. And I was supposed to get up and do the, The one technical part of the dance that I was actually like struggling with, while I was struggling with the whole thing, is the part that they were like, you didn't get that.
Starting point is 00:06:04 And I was like, oh, I know. I couldn't hear Mariah's beat. You should have said, let me stop you right there. Couldn't hear over the cheering. Let me stop you right there, Carriand. It's actually because everyone was cheering so loud. I had lost my ability to process auditorily. I couldn't hear the beat.
Starting point is 00:06:21 I could not hear the beat. The beat. And you know I like the beat. So I'm just like, you know, I've never followed sports. I've never felt like this sort of passion. So like it's a new feeling for me to like care so much about like my team. Yes. Like when my team is wrong, like I was, I've been pissed.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah. So. When I got up and got my scores and I'm kind of like, oh, a six, that's a bummer. And then the first thing that I see on camera, Brooke. no i did that when you got the seven yeah yeah yeah that's because it's like okay six seven but it was like it was like it was like a full like brittany moment where she's like it was like well there's a reason they didn't show me until the seven because i wouldn't clap with the six i'm sorry like i'm not fucking around i'm not playing good support right now like and then when bruno gave you a seven i was
Starting point is 00:07:18 okay and then seven my man my man my man my man it's just like and also like and also So, like, I'm not, everyone, like, did really well last night, but, like, Tyler got three sevens, right? That, like, you should be getting three sevens. He did well, you did better. Sorry. Like, that's not putting him down. Like, you did. It's just, like, annoying.
Starting point is 00:07:40 So, anyway. Well, thank you. And Sierra should not have gone home. So. Yeah, that's a fresh. It's to solve. Didn't the judges used to have a save? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:07:51 They used to have a save. I think they would have used to. it last week though. Yeah. Yeah. Taylor. So. It doesn't make sense.
Starting point is 00:08:00 The elimination part of the competition show does is. It makes no sense. Does not make sense. You get to that part and it's such a rude awakening every week. So I'm like, oh, I forgot we're competing against each other. I know. I know. Truly, I look at everybody and I'm like, who could possibly go home?
Starting point is 00:08:17 It's like, it like makes a hole. You know? Like it makes a TV show. Yeah. Anyways, I had a lot of fun. Yeah. That was my favorite dance we've done. That was unrelated to my strep.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Like I'm getting, like I was freaking out last night because everyone's performance was like super emotional. You know? Yeah. And then I was like getting nervous. I was like, okay, well, my friend's humping the ground. No, I was feeling that as well. So and I knew you were going to be feeling that as well. So it's like, let's not give him the.
Starting point is 00:08:56 time or you know what let's not give me the time either to start to get that that level to work that level of stress and anxiety i'm going hmm okay yeah okay everyone's cheering up everyone everyone everyone seemed to have a uphill battle this week everyone's doing an emotional arc this week and you know yeah i i mean i was also having an art this week something you don't see in the package that rolls before my thing is that i didn't have the dance until a day before the show. I told Riley, right when we started learning, I go, oh my God, well, it was so nice to get to know you.
Starting point is 00:09:33 I will be heading home. I could not get this dance. It was not, Rumba is the hardest dance. Dylan texted me, and I was like, I don't, are you sure you want to do that? And I was like, baby, it's done. I don't, Riley, choreographed everything, you know? So I was like, I can't do it.
Starting point is 00:09:51 And then this was like the week where Riley kind of cracked the whip and was like, you have to learn it. This was also the week when I was like, oh, if I don't learn it, like, I just do whatever I know. Like the day of the dance, I guess. Well, you did it. You did it. I thought you did amazing.
Starting point is 00:10:12 You took all of the judges' feedback and internalized it and put it on the dance floor. And glad that Bruno saw that. Yeah. Yeah. I also want to say, like, I love Bruno. I love Bruno, too. He's really like that is actually my favorite part of being in the ballroom is getting to watch him
Starting point is 00:10:30 Such a spirited individual. Yeah, he's a spirited individual. It is funny how they run them out towards the end. They like run them out. Yeah. Brookes gonna get up. Get over to the judges. Yeah. Checks out. So I had Spanx on yesterday. and I walk out in my Spanx because I had a low-cut shirt and then I was like hang on all of the guys are naked Yeah
Starting point is 00:11:04 Everyone doing the Rumba is shirt Almost completely off There's one button I can't go out there with my Spanx on We gotta cut this into a lower V It was a Spanx tank top So wasn't this last week too That you cut the lower V in the Spanx?
Starting point is 00:11:20 That was that was for sweat the lower V this week was for nipples because my nipples were genuinely like becoming a distraction for the screen like when we did the camera blocking the shadowing um under my nipple was the size of a Toyota corolla and it was distract it literally look like twin peaks and so we were like we got to do something So and then when I walk out and I see Harry Shum and I see Ezra just looking as they do. Ezra looked like a Disney prince. Just my beautiful boy.
Starting point is 00:12:03 Yeah. I go, we have to unfortunately like do something. And so they start to cut my V. And I'm like, no, I step away. I ripped the Spanx off. I ripped them off. Get nipple pasties. You'd be shocked at how much of a backward step than nipple pasties.
Starting point is 00:12:20 are for me. What do you mean? I have a unique body. There's no way else to say it. But what would the nipple pasties? Draw them somehow more attention to my breasts. No, not the cakes ones. Cakes?
Starting point is 00:12:33 Yeah, I'll order you cakes. I blocked someone this morning that said, you need cakes. I thought they were talking about my butt. I got to unblock the young woman. Oh, yeah. Okay, cakes, body, nipple covers. Oh, I'll explore these. they just like
Starting point is 00:12:51 they go they they go wider they go wider now that looks like something that I don't know the pairs the pair one they just explore different shapes so you can try a few different options
Starting point is 00:13:03 like one is really big like so it'll like take the whole breast cover the whole breast it depends what you're looking for so we could do if you try a few I would be open to trying those and seeing how they work
Starting point is 00:13:15 let's try oh they look good on that young woman yeah okay Yeah, I will. Let's press some cakes. I wouldn't mind. Wow. Okay, some cakes.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Um, yeah, so I ripped the Spanx off. Um, I feel like I had more to say about that, but I'm having trouble remembering last night. Let me check my notes. Lynn, I have a funny story to tell you. Is it unrelated to the Spanx? Yes. Closing that chapter? We can close the Spanx chapter.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Okay. Um, I mean, the only thing, the wardrobe I was having trouble with last night because I wasn't really, um, doing the like body roll on the ground in my full costume. So it ripped during the show. And I was really scared. It was my pants it ripped. Um, I felt the rip. I heard the rip. I couldn't hear Mariah. I could hear the rip. And I couldn't tell if it was my shirt or my pants on my, on my, ass and the reason I was scared about it being my ass I'm not anyone can see my ass if you want to just ask just ask last night the underwear I received for my costume was one size too small so it had gone into my body you've been wearing underwear during performance night have to yeah yeah have to um and I was so I'm doing the body around I go if my took us is out and I'm wearing genuinely a thong Like we have taken the dance too far
Starting point is 00:15:01 We crossed the threshold of sexy No And I was just thinking like Is Bruno seeing my cheeks? Right Like my ass was eating this underwear Oh I wish I had seen Well it was my shirt
Starting point is 00:15:17 Do you, are you allowed to say what you're doing next week? We're doing The Samba Are you allowed to say what song? To Hips Don't Lie by Shakira. Is that sexy? Shirley? The only thing that I like about the samba is what I'm learning.
Starting point is 00:15:36 So when they talked about last night, the rumba, I'm going to show you. I'm going to stand up. Yeah. Would you mind? Let me know if you need another body. This is my understanding. What? I said, let me know if you need another body. I'm being serious.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I'm double checking. I'm just going to show you the hips right now. Okay, cool. Um. The comments I got last night were that I, you know, Ezra did a rumba and I'll just show you. I know. I'm not comparing myself to Ezra by any means. I'd like, the guy blows my mind.
Starting point is 00:16:06 We'd not do the same dance as Ezra in the same week. Would love that. Would love not. How do we find that option? The same costume, I literally, genuinely like, this is how I felt when, when Ezra walked out, same costume. Ezra, um, Val. You have that same costume. Pasha.
Starting point is 00:16:25 I mean, it's the same. The dance is. get the same similar costume, slick back hair, deep button. It felt like, I'm Janet, and I'm rank. You need to make that TikTok and I do knees. I'm rank. It literally when he walked down. I was like, you're fucking kidding.
Starting point is 00:16:48 That's really good. Why didn't you make that? I thought about it when I got home and I was like, what? Like, why would you do this? It's the same reason I don't stand next to Tyler Cameron. in photos, you know? Like, give me a break.
Starting point is 00:17:04 That's good. I need a little Apple box to stand on. That's good. It's just like, okay. Okay, so. The samba, well, the rumba, I'll show you first. So this is, I'm, I'm gonna, can I talk outside the mic? Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:16 I'll go, I guess, here. So, ideally, in the rumba, I would have gone. Bring it around town? Yeah, but not been my knees. So it's here, here. and I had my, I was supposed to have my hand in here and go, ooh, ooh, see, I bend my knee. Is your fly open? Wide.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yes. Appreciate it. I'm not wearing, like, my penis was, could you see it? No, you couldn't. I was like, oh, there's a breeze in here today. Okay. So. You're amazing.
Starting point is 00:18:02 I think you're an amazing person. And you're like, hello. Well, I didn't want to, like, I was worried it wasn't open and I was just going to, like, draw attention. No, it's impossible not. Yeah. Okay, so Rumba would be here with the hips. And Ezra, you saw Ezra, it was like one of these were like, and they said I was too safe with my arm here. Ezra did the, the Rumba arm, which is good to do.
Starting point is 00:18:37 The Samba, so see this, this range of motion, the Samba. Samba, you can bid your knees. That's nice. Oh, you're more, you're, you own that movement. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So I love that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:48 You're good at that. I can tell. So that's good. That will be, that will be fun. And my, my costume next week is very fun. So is the Samba like slower? More sensual? Are you back to sensual?
Starting point is 00:19:00 I don't know. That I don't know. Cool. That I don't know. Um, but. Anyways, that was fun. I had a good time last night. Yeah, me too.
Starting point is 00:19:11 I had a great time. I had a great time. Yeah. Of course. It's just, you know, when you get really into it, it's like it's impossible not to. 100%. Be passionate. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Again, I'm just saying one more time. I cannot believe the feedback is not bothering me at all. No, you're being so mature. It's, it's, even like after, like when I saw you after the show briefly, just like, not a care in the world. I was like ready to march the stand the judges. Truly it's because Guillermo was next to me and I just like he calms me down so much. I mean I love the guy really.
Starting point is 00:19:49 He's a genuinely good person. You know when parents are like you should not die before your children? Yeah. That's like I need to go home before before Gamma. I have something horrible to tell you. I just like don't imagine a world where he. I'm not. People come visit.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I'm. here and he's not in it. Maybe he'll come visit, but like, I do think he could have, like, another week. 100%. Or two more week. And you have to, we have to talk about Whitney
Starting point is 00:20:21 choreographing, like, such creative choreography for, for him to really shine. It's incredible, like, her brand. It's performance art. Is it not? It's just, like, such a fun watch. And you know there's going to be, like, this thing.
Starting point is 00:20:38 It's like, that's Whitney's brand. and she's pregnant It's just like an incredible day She has those belly limitations Can I say something? Yeah Imagine like Getting up on a stage
Starting point is 00:20:53 On national TV And giving it your all And then having one of the judges earnestly say What was that? That's actually what Carrie Ann had said to Guillermo Oh I was already pulled For my dance
Starting point is 00:21:13 When That was taking part taking part, taking place. That was the, I think, I got a few DMs. It was like, I like, maybe I'm just like being dramatic, but I think I heard you start the booze. Pretty sure I did. That's a crazy thing to say.
Starting point is 00:21:30 I'm sorry. But I'm not sorry. It's, it, it was reminiscent of such a shame. Anyway, sorry. I feel bad. But I don't. This is what, this is what the show is about, though. They create fans of the show and,
Starting point is 00:21:46 you watching the show and enjoying that piece of it, that performance, that's half it and the other half is them getting technical what the dance is. Anyway? I want to show you may spray tan. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:02 So Ezra got me to get a spray tan the other night. I had it left. Where'd you go sugar to bronze? We got it in the studio. There's an in-house. There's an in-house. Yep. I did full body. Ezra randomly only did it, the top half.
Starting point is 00:22:14 he's oh this is like crazy he's hairy um I'm not so like I had to do my whole body I wonder if it's still my pants are
Starting point is 00:22:29 oh yeah I want to do I want to get one that looks really good your legs look at that muscle oh my god there's like two coming down
Starting point is 00:22:45 look at that no that's like like that's muscle Connor that wasn't there before yeah because of your mussely thigh your pants just got stuck good job thanks I also just the last thing I'll say about the dance this is like a good cut off too watching like Amber do that insane move and then being like okay well like what was I what's a young man like me to do except hump the floor in this moment but like also and another thing that like is not being taken into account when your reviews are scored. Amber has experienced like moving her body in that,
Starting point is 00:23:28 in that sort of way. They're curving this. They are curving. They're turtily curving. They're turtily curving. But like I just really feel like it's just not acknowledged that you have no, no experience. You know what's funny is if they kept,
Starting point is 00:23:41 if they harped on that, I'd get my feelings here. You have no experience. Okay, well, I've been to, I've been to weddings. I don't know. I'm just like, I'm pretty.
Starting point is 00:23:50 I was pretty fired up after last night, as you can tell. I'm happy for another week and it will be fun and you'll be there. Yep, yep. And you'll be sitting next to our special guests that will be in the audience next week. So fun. And Izzy and my parents. Bob. I'm excited to be really good week.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I do wonder. I'll be all of a good attitude. You always do? I always do. Oh. Sorry, I've been coughing so much. The other thing, as I hump the floor, I look up. Who do I see?
Starting point is 00:24:34 Who? Abby Lee Miller. Oh, yeah, Abby Lee Miller was sitting with us. She asked me for a picture after the show. Do you have it? It's on her phone. Abby Lee, if you're listening, can you blast that out? She looks gorgeous.
Starting point is 00:24:49 You know, I never, like, saw all dance mom. or anything like that? I imagine it's like a little bit maybe nerve-wracking for the dancers to have someone of that. Is she like, I don't even know the lore. Like, because from like my understanding was it like she was like
Starting point is 00:25:08 mean, right? Yeah, okay. But like we love her. Izzy just said, okay. So. I don't think. It's interesting. So? It's kind of like a non-dancer that just watches TV. Like, we, It's kind of like an icon situation, even though it's like...
Starting point is 00:25:26 I think like Maddie Z. Bliller, like has a vendetta, like, a valid vendetta against Abby Lee. I like yearn for the day when I can like, I mean, me imagining when this is over, like, hanging out with the judge, like, they're not going to talk to me, but like... Bruno. And you know what, Derek, like, I fuck with depending. Yeah. I like them all.
Starting point is 00:25:55 I think it's a good balance that we have out there. I mean, I guess like every judging panel needs a Simon Cowell, but also like Simon was like very hateful. Simon should be imprisoned. Simon was like not. Simon was really not okay. No, that. Well, Simon had to talk about internal. Simon was battling something.
Starting point is 00:26:15 Did we talk about this? We, I think, full blown. Like every time he comes up, I'm like, yeah. Simon's a villain. No, I know. Everyone is like in response to like hating on Carrie Ann. Everyone's like, well, would you have said this about time and cow?
Starting point is 00:26:28 Yes. Absolutely. Anyway. Yeah. Enough of that. Enough. Thank you guys for voting. Please vote next week.
Starting point is 00:26:40 I would appreciate it. Voting matters as you can see. Voting definitely matters. It's so fun to be up there at the end of every show at the bottom three. You weren't in the bottom three last night. Almost. I just ready every week to be like up there at the bottom of the room. Just like, all right.
Starting point is 00:26:58 That weight in between and the one going home is. Oh, it's like, it has to be longer in the ballroom than it is on TV. It's like two full minutes. It's definitely like in the ballroom. At least 40 seconds. Yeah. Anyways. I have your birthday present finally.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Do you? Yeah. But I think I'm going to have to leave the room. Why? Because you know how like. after you dance, you're like, why did I do that? Yeah. I'm feeling that way about what I've done.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Really? Yeah. Okay, whatever makes you comfortable. I don't know. I wrote you a song. Did you sing it? Mm-hmm. No, you didn't.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Mm-hmm. Tried, tried to sing? I'm going to try. As he says, I should try to stay. I'm, like, I've been having nightmares about this, Connor. You wrote me a song? I wrote you a song. they ever is he made a lyric video or the editors made a lyric video i went into the studio no you did i did i'm feeling
Starting point is 00:28:06 like sick i'm like feeling actually sick if i was being weird for the first 30 minutes of the podcast is because i'm like very nauseous i had i had it you what i think you're being very sweet and nice i had a nightmare a few weeks ago that you walked out when when we played this because you're like i don't think this is funny so it's a funny song no well the first verse is like I'm like ribbing at you a little bit and then it gets really earnest Okay But like you didn't make it past the first verse
Starting point is 00:28:35 In my dream And the podcast ended Brooke I can't leave this I don't know what to do You have a second book to write What are you doing writing a song? Not writing the book I don't know what to do with
Starting point is 00:28:46 I don't think I can be in here Well just Let's just play it And then if you feel the need to get up This is horrible It's a country song Stop Oh, it's called Didn't Have to Go Far.
Starting point is 00:29:03 It's a star. It's going to be changed to your first. There's a star in your purse. Can't look. Oh. So stupid. My God. That's when you walked out in my dream.
Starting point is 00:29:42 How do you have so much in every single line? That was poetic. Auto-tuned to the gods. Oh. Asking is he questions. feet as a paper bar we were so stupid oh brook this is long
Starting point is 00:31:06 it's a long song gosh every Tuesday oh this is gonna make me genuinely peace sweet love you
Starting point is 00:32:52 it was so good thanks thanks happy birthday sorry it's so late that literally that was like really tough to sit through that felt like
Starting point is 00:33:05 to me I mean that just made me like that just made me like life at a glance for a second. Ooh, that was freaking. It was literally felt like... Like, where does the time go? Like, when we go back?
Starting point is 00:33:17 Like, that was, I don't... That was genuinely a why your tooth brown type of thing. Every single line held weight. Yeah. There was no filler. Thank you. I had fun with the songwriting process. That was fabulous. Thanks, Connor. It was so good.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Thanks. And I heard that no you hit at the end. And I knew you were going to go far. Yeah. My favorite part is... I needed it. Really. Sorry, we're so stupid. We just want to know.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Please look at the song that I was listening to when I pulled up. You're going to go far. That was the inspiration by Novo Khan. That's really scary. This is, and I was at three minutes, 33 seconds. That's really bizarre. As I pulled up. Well, I was like, is this plagiarism?
Starting point is 00:33:58 You're not sell a lefty. It's inspiration. You're safe. No. March safe. Wow. Brooke, that was so amazing, truly. Thanks, that's going to, that's like instant classic.
Starting point is 00:34:07 That's going platinum in my house. That's sweet. We'll be on. on Spotify. Will it? I guess. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:34:14 That's awesome. You. Oh, Brooke. Thank you. Yeah. That was worth the wait. I'm glad. Really quick.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Back to dancing for just one brief second. I'm more comfortable there. Yeah. I was going to tell you, so I filmed that comedy special. Did I say I filmed a, yeah. Yeah. I guess it was like public. I filmed a comedy special.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I'm just going to say right now, I don't know how much of a comedy special it is. What do you like it's not funny it's almost reads more like an Anthony Bourdain thing than a stand-up special like it's not an hour of stand-up we're like out doing stuff which I think I thrive more doing that and then mixing in some like yeah I think I talk better than in situations more than like writing stabb about the situations but one of those one of those situations I was in in June I went to a strip place When you were filming in Fort Lauderdale? Mm-hmm. I didn't know you went to the strip club. Went to a strip club. In Fort Lauderdale? A male strip club.
Starting point is 00:35:20 I didn't know you went to a male strip club. At noon. At noon. I didn't know you went to a male strip club at noon. Yeah. Can I ask you you went with? Yeah, I went with the team. Xavier, Maggie, all came.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Those young men taught me the ground body roll that I did last night on the dance flow. We owe it to them. Do you have the name of the establishment? that you could shout out. La bear. La bear. And let me just double check that it was for a lot of it. I think it was. Yeah, La bear.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Can you click on the men? Oh, I'm sorry. My mistake for thinking it was bear like the animal. No. Bear like skin. Bear like skin. So they're really wonderful people. They taught me everything I know.
Starting point is 00:36:09 And that's where this started. Obviously in June I did not know that I'd be doing this, but they had me up on the stage with them. I didn't know you got up on the stages that filmed. Yep. It's in it. I was in a construction vest and tasseled undies. So. When can we see this?
Starting point is 00:36:30 It's being. Was the construction vest open? Nope. It was closed. I looked very weird. And I had a hard hat on. and Maggie they were like now you'll do a lap dance on Maggie so Maggie's on the chair and then me and Xavier are giving her lap dance
Starting point is 00:36:50 so when the young men they hang from the rafters they're very strong you know and they hang from the rafters and they lap dance your face so they almost like yeah yeah so I'm like not they're almost what they're what what what did you say what did you say I didn't get I didn't I didn't mean that to say anything if I did say something. What did you think I said? What did you think I think you said? They're wet? No. Oh. You stopped mid-sentence.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Sorry. Well, they are built like differently than I am, especially upper body. So I was trying to hang from the rafters and they did that kind of body roll that I was like forward facing. I couldn't really get to the, two the two rafters up top so I was holding like kind of instead of the Y axis I was holding on the on the X axis and so I can only kind of like hump Maggie's ear and that's on film but they taught me that body roll on the ground and if you
Starting point is 00:38:00 watch the dance back that's not the worm everyone was like you did the worm I said I didn't do the worm I said I had my right foot planted on the ground moving back that was like stabilizing me to move back was like a moon wall of sorts, but it was like a humping moonwalk. Yes, it was. Is there a name for it? I know, the magic. The magic mic.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Worm, the magic mic worm? Magic conch. The magic conch. Yeah, no, honey, that's a magic conch. Um, okay, this is like, my, wait, did I ask when we can see? See what? The, your special? Well, it's being shopped around right now,
Starting point is 00:38:38 and someone has to like, a stream, someone has to buy it. Well, is there like a link that you could send to me? Yeah, I haven't watched it. Okay. You know, I can't watch, you know, I can't watch things I'm in. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Did you see this picture of you grinding in middle school? What in the, how did you? Easy, is that you in the dress? Oh, no. Sorry? Someone posted that. Where did they post that? On TikTok.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Oh my gosh, these are all my friends from high school. Ellen Hammond, Lila Love, Curtis Petty. Wow. You look adorable. I love all your jewels. These are all my friends. Aw, I miss you guys. What were you?
Starting point is 00:39:29 Was this someone's quinceanera? I think that's Madeline in front of me. No, that is homecoming. Cute. So fun. Always had the shirt on underneath the button up, dude and nipples. We've got to get you kicked up.
Starting point is 00:39:44 I need to get caked up. And I need to apologize to the woman I blocked for saying you need cake. I thought you're talking about my butt. That's a, that's, you're blocking people for a lot, huh? For not a lot,
Starting point is 00:39:56 for a little. Yeah. You're block happy? Yeah, I commented back to someone last night. I saw. That's fine to do. Sorry,
Starting point is 00:40:03 you're pushing me to my limits. Yeah, you're being pushed. You're being tested. I don't know if the network will love that I'm clapping back. I think we're supposed to ignore that. I'm like, I can't.
Starting point is 00:40:14 No, and I would not be able to either. That just reminded me, I guess that was high school. Do you remember in high school where the fundraiser would be like for $5, you can throw a pie at the principal's place? They should have done like for 10, you can throw a book at your teacher. Yeah, I agree. The teacher you hate. Would you guys absolutely effing kill me if I got another coffee really quick?
Starting point is 00:40:38 No. Can I make one really quick? And then maybe I have one story to tell you. Okay. Okay, two things. I'm feeling like horrible about my song. No, Brooke, that was amazing. That was the highlight of the episode by far.
Starting point is 00:40:54 I'll be right back. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, it's like post, post not clarity. Can you, can you look up the look up on Spotify? Yearning playlist? Yeah, I have one of those. No, but Spotify just made one. That coffee smells good. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:41:17 It's donut. Chop. Yearning Playlists. Yearning mix. It's made just for me. You'll know. Yeah, this is perfect. No, you'll know.
Starting point is 00:41:28 They made one. No, I know. Earning Mix. No, yearning playlist. It's called Earning Playlists. What? Okay. Anyone?
Starting point is 00:41:43 I'm getting Earning Mix, romantic yearning mix, and late-night yearning mix. What? What? Where the cover? Spotify just made the yearning mix. yearning to dance a pop-a playlist. This is on Spotify. A Spotify official playlist called
Starting point is 00:42:02 Yearning and it's Riley and I on the flow. From last night, they move quick. They are amazing. Oh my gosh. I know they're so good. Wow. You guys go check out the yearning playlist on Spotify. That's so fun. Oh, that is hysterical.
Starting point is 00:42:23 I wonder if they'll add what's it called didn't have to go far parentheses there's a star in your purse in parentheses there's a star in your purse there's a brilliant touch thanks
Starting point is 00:42:40 I like when songs do that I like when movies say the name of the movie in the movie I like when that happens in books ooh you know what I hate though what
Starting point is 00:42:52 when they say the name of the movie don't strain your throat sorry when they say the name of the movie and then it like cuts to black and it's like salt burn yeah why was it called saltburn did i tell you i watched that with my dad yeah that's i forgot about that's like brooks nader being naked on the boat with her dad no it's not don't say that do not say that they have a different why did they call it saltburn why did they call it saltburn it was the name of the manor that they were all on the banner the house manor the manor
Starting point is 00:43:27 Exactly. It was the name of the manor. Saltburn Manor. Okay, but like people, I kind of feel like, mm, no, I mean, that's a fine title. What? I was gonna say, like, maybe I feel like title should be a little bit more involved. But I'm thinking about my possible title for book two
Starting point is 00:43:48 and it's the least involved thing that's ever. I like when it's a thinker. I like when a title is a thinker. But Saltburn's not a thinker is what I'm saying. It's just the name of the manner. I was just thinking. Or you were thinking, like you were... Well, I obviously didn't pay attention to the name of the house
Starting point is 00:44:02 because I was focusing on him licking come out of the bathtub drain. So they couldn't name it come out of the bathtub drain. I like... Do you remember, like, that feeling when you first saw that in the theater? That's why I go to the movies. That is why we go. I will tell you, too. Like, you know when I don't F with people, like, reacting in movies?
Starting point is 00:44:27 I'm sorry, I don't. Like, laughing or going, ooh, or like, I don't think I could go see. I'm not like a Marvel fan necessarily. I'll go see the movies. I'm like, it's fun. But people being like, there's the character that I like, and like, ooh, and then, like, I get crying and stuff. But, like, having audible reactions, like, there needs to be a loud theater.
Starting point is 00:44:52 And then, like, one where we're all kind of just, watching the movie. But in the Saltburn Theater, you would rather have everyone watched the cum slurping in total silence rather than like a few gaspss and like, that was the exception.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Like I'm not, I love when we're all like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. When, during the grave scene, which we now know was improvised, which makes me so freaked out that like one of the Beatles and the Beatles biopic
Starting point is 00:45:21 improvised a scene where he was performing coitus on a grave? No, I, honest to God, think if you are in the character and you are hugging the grave, you, there was no other option as to where that scene's going. Spot on. I'm doing, I'm doing what I did on the dance floor. You know what has to happen next. And you're going to do it.
Starting point is 00:45:47 When that happened, that wasn't out of, I turned towards my seat and went like this. That's a very much like, he's not going to fuck the grave, is he? He is going to fuck the grave, okay. I couldn't. I couldn't watch. It was like... But like he had to. It was beyond desecration.
Starting point is 00:46:02 He absolutely had to. Based off of the person that he was, it would not have made sense for him. I'm so confused. It would not have made sense from to keep his... Dick and his pants. ...mend his member out of the soil. Wouldn't have made sense. Wouldn't have aligned with his character.
Starting point is 00:46:17 You, Brooke, when you're right, you're really right. I know that. I don't totally understand, like, where his head was at. Because, you are who you are when no one's watching. And like, no one would watch it. It's not like, it was at the funeral. And it was like, I need to show everyone how much I am going to miss this young man watch. It was like, oh, I'm alone.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Time to get it on. It was what my body is compelling me to do. Like, did, what was? It wasn't even, to me, it wasn't sexual. No, I don't think so either. I think it was more like a craving for flesh. I was like, oh. to me it was I love you in a yearn almost a yearning kind of way but almost like a year like it was carnal
Starting point is 00:47:07 it was carnal it was carnal it was carnal it was like I you need it cannot look at this image I'm so sorry it's it is disgusting no matter what it is it's disgusting I see to me come the what come slurping was disgusting like it absolutely loved it it was disgusting and it gave me chills gray fucking I was like, mm-hmm. Didn't find it disgusting. Found it powerful. At the end of the day, it's like,
Starting point is 00:47:38 are you a cum slurper or are you a gray fucker? Do you know what I mean? Oh my God. Who are you? You are a sinophile, aren't you? Yup. Wait, I had a panic attack about being stopped by the letterbox lady the other day and I had to write down my big four.
Starting point is 00:48:02 I think that's a smart thing to do because Lord knows what I would say. Fool's Gold, Fort Christmas's Titanic, and, blah, blah, boom, 50 first dates. Connor Minor, Twilight, Super Bad Princess Diaries, and Tarzan. You're going to want to lie. Do you think? Like, I love that because, but these people, you want to. No, I like that. I like that.
Starting point is 00:48:24 And I think that's representative of your character. And I think that builds a person. I have a lying one, too. What's your lying one? Princess bride. Well, I would keep Twilight. Twilight. I'm also not lying.
Starting point is 00:48:35 It's just like I love these movies. It's just like the more, my favorite movies that are a little bit more elevated. What shaped you? What was the house that built you? But these are not the movies that I'm like putting on every second of every day like I did Princess Iry, Super Bad Twilight and Tarzan. Princess Bride is in there?
Starting point is 00:48:49 Princess Dieries is in my like, I'm watching every day. Princess Bride is in my more elevated favorites. So my more elevated favorites are Princess Bride, dirty dancing, crazy stupid love and twilight. Yeah. I didn't like crazy stupid love I have to say I think that was like the beginning of these like YouTube
Starting point is 00:49:16 movies See that to me is the last of the rom-coms The last of the good rom-coms I think it plays in terms of rom-com I think that that's when we started getting towards like Remember when Valentine's Day came out and like Why did they have? Like multiple storylines It was multiple storylines
Starting point is 00:49:32 But also like everyone's too famous For me to like latch But like That was right yes they were all super famous but like it was right before emma stone was like emma stone i think emma stone's one of the best actresses in the world yeah i do too but she doesn't connect with me for some reason
Starting point is 00:49:56 oh interesting yeah um and begonia didn't help oh i didn't see bagonia oh but i loved four things honestly maybe that man what maybe i'll put that on my oh my god i'll put salt burn on brooke don't put salt burn on your list please that's going to be people are going to make up stories about why oh edward's sister hands maybe i'll put on my list you are fascinating really yeah um well let me try to think of like a deeper more serious book that i could or movie that i could put on my list i love the royal tendon bombs but i feel like i haven't seen it enough to be like it's my one of my favorite i've ever watched a serious movie oh my god i don't know if i have let me go to you
Starting point is 00:50:43 to my really long favorite romantic gestures oh my god i don't know if i have what's a serious movie think think uh you've seen things in theater like marty supreme what the hell happened with that i thought that was marty supreme was like going and watching a fireworks show like it's over and now it's gone saying almost fire i really love oh my gosh is he just Pulled up a... Oh, hey, you know what I like? What? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Life of Pie. There, that's a good one. Yeah. It's symbolism. You know, I like symbolism. That is... See, that to me, it's like way too much symbolism. I like the symbolism.
Starting point is 00:51:34 I haven't seen any of these serious movies that Izzy just pulled up. Wait, sorry. Oh, my God, you've not seen Remember Me? No, what is it? What's it about? The Robert Pattinson movie with, like, a pretty big twist at the end. Twist. I'm going to spoil, remember me, because it's been out for 25 years.
Starting point is 00:51:51 It's like everything happens. And at the end, they just zoom out and Rob's like in the Twin Towers. And it's 9-11 and he's about to go down. Oh, that sucks. But like it kind of had, the whole movie had nothing to do with 9-11. He just like ended up. The last scene in the movie is just like him in an office and zoom out. Then you realize that the movie takes place on 9-11, 2021.
Starting point is 00:52:16 2001 is what I meant to say. So then just last shot is him. You know, I love Shutter Island. I watched Shutter Island the other day. Oh yeah, did you not like it? Nope. That's so insane. Anyways.
Starting point is 00:52:30 Every Tuesday night. Do you want to hear... Do you want to hear an insane twist at the end? The Pervert's Guide to Cinema? What's that? My memoir? I don't know. I'm not familiar with the Perverts Guide to Cinema.
Starting point is 00:52:48 Sure, my house. would like it. Slaviac Zizek guides the viewer through some of the greatest movies ever made. Oh, okay. This is like a not the type of movie that I would watch. Do you want to hear an insane twist at the end? Marcel the Shell. Oh my God, tick, boom.
Starting point is 00:53:08 That's my favorite movie. Love Actually. I have to completely redo my letterbox four. Big Fat Liar. These are like, yeah, movies. Okay, I have to do some complete reframing. I went to creation the other day. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:53:27 Well, I didn't go. I ordered it with a K to get a salad. I got a juice and a salad. And I got a wellness shot in my bag. And I'm like, okay, cool. This is a well-rounded meal. And I eat this out. And I'm like, it's so funky that like, this is so dry, but I guess it's healthy.
Starting point is 00:53:47 And I'm eating a salad, eating this out. choking it down. It's very dry. I'm taking tips of my green smoothie to get it down. And at the end, I was like, now I'm going to wash it down with my wellness shot. And I take the wellness shot, and I'm like, oh my God, this must be really healthy. This is disgusting.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Spired? Palosalmic vinaigrat. Ah, you are. I was so healthy. I had the healthiest meal in the world, and then I washed it down with probably 350 calories of salad dressing. Man, you are. How's your, do you feel like your body's strong?
Starting point is 00:54:28 My legs are stronger. Yeah. I see that. My upper body, I really need to go to the gym. Surely your arms are like feeling toned. No. No. They're not toned.
Starting point is 00:54:44 I saw Verity. Did you really? And I saw Primetime. Okay. Everyone's being so dramatic about Verity. What do you mean? What are they saying? saying it's the worst thing they've ever seen. It was very entertaining and like fun. Y'all are like
Starting point is 00:55:00 doing way too much. Sorry. Like it's a fun time. I don't know what everyone was expecting, but like it's a it's an entertaining two hours. Is it kind of like bad acting vibes? I think, hmm, how to say. You can say whatever you feel. I don't think it was bad acting. I think Dakota plays a pretty similar role in every movie, which is maybe, like, you could have taken her character from 50 Shades of Grey and put her in Verity. And it would be the same thing. It was, it would be all, like, that's what happened. Um, which is fine. Like, I don't think her character needed to be super deep. Um, and Anne was definitely, it's like, it was kind of like campy. I was like playing a very, like a caricature of a woman. Uh, well, this like, of this
Starting point is 00:55:58 author. We've reached a point really quick for even where like every movie if it's bad we can't just call it campy. Like I'm sorry. I didn't call the movie campy. I said her acting I know but like we can't like it has been for a little while like I think the movie was bad and people are like well it's campy or the TV show was bad well it's campy. It's intentionally. Okay. Crazy idea. Why don't we make something good? It's just like I just thought It was like a good adaptation.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Like it was the book. I forgot. I read the book when it came out. I don't, 2018 or 2019 or something. So I don't remember it that well. But like from the everything I remembered, it was just the book.
Starting point is 00:56:44 So like I don't know what people were expecting. Like obviously some things are going to change. Do you feel like in today's day and age, everyone's very hypercritical of everything? I feel like everyone was being super like it was just a moot. Like, it was a moot. Like y'all, it was fine. Like, it was good.
Starting point is 00:57:00 It was entertaining. And, like, at least for me, like, I was not expecting it to be anything. Whoa! Oh, shit. Sorry. Just a little fly on me. I don't know why I reacted that way. I was just not expecting it to be anything other than entertaining.
Starting point is 00:57:10 I think that the, like, outcry is, like, kind of crazy. Like, I thought it was just so fine. There's a public outcry? Yeah, everyone's like, it's the worst thing I've ever seen. It is not the worst thing you've ever seen. Huh. By any means. Like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:25 I just don't know what people were expecting, I guess. Prime Time on the other hand Robert Pattinson is like genuinely the best actor The other earth Have you seen what What he's capable of in this film? No His embrace Chris Hanson impression
Starting point is 00:57:43 It's like pretty scary Do you know Chris Hanson? Enough I want to ask you about him though I didn't know much All I knew is that I had seen Chris Hanson Talking about the movie and how it just Everything is a completely fictionalized
Starting point is 00:57:59 a version of his life. Like nothing actually happened. So when I saw the movie, something happens in the end. And I was like, damn, that's like a crazy liberty to take. That's like a wild spin on this story. Come to find that's the true part.
Starting point is 00:58:18 I was like, whoa. I can't believe this happened. And I never knew about it. Can you tell me what it is? I mean, I guess, yeah, because it happened in real life. Basically, they caught a predator and he ended up being like, I forget what his role was, something in the government. He was a DA.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Oh, yeah? And then when they were closing in on him, he shot himself, like on site. And that led to the show being canceled because there were so many lawsuits involved. I'm just like, that's crazy that I never heard about that. because like that's one crazy thing for the DA to be seeking out young men online, which like obviously that shit happens. But like it's just crazy that it was so public and I never heard about it and he killed himself and just this whole thing. So that's what I was like, oh, damn, that's a crazy creative liberty to take.
Starting point is 00:59:16 But it really happened. The creative liberty that they did take, which has to do with Skyler, what is his last name? Guisingato. Something like that, who I'm obsessed with, by the way. Me too. He's incredible. We should have Skyler on him. Yeah, I love him.
Starting point is 00:59:31 He's so talented. The creative liberty that they took had to do with, that Chris Hansen was referring to, had to do with his storyline. But I don't even think it was that much of a creative liberty. I think they were actually, like, drawing attention to something really important. He plays a decoy, which is, like, the actors on how to catch a predator that would lure the predators in. And basically, his storyline was, like, how that affected the decoys.
Starting point is 00:59:56 because they were like in ways like kind of like assaulted like it's really scary to like be associating with the vulnerable actual predators yeah so they were kind of like drawing light onto that and obviously taking creative liberties while they did it which i'm assuming is what chris hansom was like none of that happened but like definitely it was an interesting story What's happening now with like the public eye like Chris Hansen didn't Is not getting He still like flowers from this show
Starting point is 01:00:33 Which like are this movie Which is weird because I feel like this is you would What do you mean like flowers? Like I'm I'm only seeing Well he's like fuck this So does it paint him in a bad light I would the part that is like questionable Is the part of like how the decoys like
Starting point is 01:00:51 like they were put in these really vulnerable positions that were like and like in the in the show skyler's like pretty much assaulted because one of the predators like whips out his piece in front of him on his first day and then skyler's or stan plum skyler's character is like obviously like very very shaken by that and then they just kind of brush it under the rug and Chris Hanson's Robert Patton is like you're good like you're doing great you're doing great you're doing great work like you're actually like catching predators like good for you like keep it up like oh chris hanson should have been the decoy but chris hanson is like that didn't happen which like i'm sure that scene didn't happen but like it's just like the whole concept of the decoy is like he's gonna sue
Starting point is 01:01:38 he's gonna sue so that would that yeah i'm sure can we scroll down a little bit page six chris hanson will decide if he's suing over robert patinson movie about his life yeah i don't he's not he's talking about it a lot. And he's also like, do I really talk like that? Yes, my lovey. Yes, my love bucket. I thought it was fabulous. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:02:03 And Rob did like, like, it's why when you watch the side by sides. I'll have to check it out. I would have loved how to catch a predator while it was on, though. It was like, unfortunate, like without realizing, my ass probably wouldn't have realized it was problematic. I'm very stupid. But it's like the first catfish. Yeah, watch that.
Starting point is 01:02:29 Oh, let's listen to it. How this looks. You see how this looks, right? Again, you see how this looks, Thomas? Now, you see how that looks. Exactly what you see how this looks. Yeah. I'm Chris Hanson with Dateline NBC.
Starting point is 01:02:43 You see how this looks, right? You see how this. I'm having trouble taking him out of Batman. I want you to try to take him out of Batman. To me, that was like the Joker talking. He never played the Joker. To me, and that was the Joker. You see how to look, right?
Starting point is 01:03:06 How about you try it? How about you go watch it? No, I don't have time. I have time to watch movies. It's in theaters. Oh. Hmm. No.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Anyway, I really, really liked it. I thought it was very interesting. And I thought the performances were really brilliant. Oh, good. Okay, I'll check it out. But also, like, I'm stupid. Don't say that about my friend. or I'm not a cinephile
Starting point is 01:03:32 so like what do I know me saying hey Verity was good I know I think there's a lot of very stupid people that have input on a lot of things I'm definitely not a synophile that's what I'll say I can only speak to what I enjoyed well that's it
Starting point is 01:03:48 if it worked for you it worked for you if it makes you happy here's what I'll say though here's what I think is interesting while I was sitting in I saw Verity and prime time one night apart I
