Your next obsession is waiting.
Watch only on Prime.
Do you think that the Kardashians have ever had anyone killed?
No.
Like Chris?
No.
I don't.
Really?
Yeah, I think they haven't.
You think they have.
I mean, no.
Because I think if they had, there's no one.
Burn you to the ground beans.
Well, no one's dead.
Yet.
So there's no one dead for me to be like, oh, the Kardashians might have had them killed.
You think that the Kardashians would have someone killed and you would.
You would know a single thing about it?
Yeah, because I know everything about their whole lives, because you can't not.
Because you know what they want you to know.
I don't think they've had anyone killed.
I'm saying, like, I wouldn't have someone killed, but if they're threatening my family,
and I have the money and resources, I'm burning you to the fucking ground.
I think she meant emotionally burning them to the ground.
I guess we'll never know, truly.
Did you make that?
Yes, Connor.
Thank you for.
Asking. I did make this sweater vest. And my new goal of 2022 is to make a new vest or piece of clothing, any piece of clothing, every Wednesday for B&C, make a pee.
Sick. Yeah. Do you want to tell me about what you've got on, your outfit? And image description for those audio only listeners. What we're working with here on Conner's body is, well, what would you call that how?
A like a cool hat.
So a kind of cowboy hat vibe and a loose black scarf and a blousey white linen button up and flowy pants.
Which Connor has made sure to tell everybody in the studio he's not wearing underwear with.
And then paired with high top converse.
Yeah, well I think that.
And sunglasses as well as a new necklace and 10 rings.
on each finger.
That's right.
We reached quite the resonance in my closet
on account of I just found out about linen.
And it's awesome.
Lennon?
Linen, like the material.
Oh, okay.
Not John.
I thought you were trying to dress like John.
No, no, no, no.
I'd say the look I have going on
is a combo of Johnny Depp, street style,
combined with someone that wants to sell you
a timeshare in Florida for the off season.
Or a waiter.
in Cabo.
I think you're looking very handsome.
Thanks.
You're welcome.
Yep.
Maybe I could knit you something.
Yeah, I would love that.
I'm just, I'm pre-gaming.
Coachella's coming out this weekend.
I'm just getting ready.
Are you going?
Yeah.
Of course I'm going.
Yeah.
I have my wristband on on Wednesday and it doesn't start.
That's your wristband?
I don't even need it until Friday.
Wow.
I'm just trying to like get to know my wristband and like wash my hands in it so it gets to
get comfortable.
Get comfortable.
Yeah, loosen her up.
Yep.
Yeah.
Loosen her up.
I get it.
I get it.
That isn't.
How's your week been?
You went home, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Texas.
Yeah.
I got to itch my ear.
Okay, sorry.
Okay.
So,
bad.
Okay.
So just hold that dot.
Holding?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, and hey, here we go.
Okay.
That's pretty spot on.
And can someone type in,
um, let's see.
I'm trying to think of how to put this.
And we may have to cut this out,
but like Matthew McConaughey.
and then also probably someone that works at a resort.
Yeah, I'm getting resort vibes.
That like meets you at the front desk and says, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Okay.
Anyways, yeah, I went home last week to see my family.
Mostly because I'm trying to get some content lately and I'm at, like, anytime I kind of hit a content wall, I go home and it's content out the wazoo.
Right.
We got mom, we got dad.
And like people actually like, um, um,
Um, like, it's just like a content, like spring fed well because the stuff they do is so insane.
And like, when you take a step back and you have a minute your parents for a while and then like they start doing the stuff that they do, it's just like this is like you can't write this shit.
Right. Can you give a, do you, did you get any good content? Yeah. Um, no, I didn't. I didn't at all.
Oh.
Actually.
I mean, the babies were there.
My little cousins are there and there's twins and they're like five or six.
And then there's an older one and she's 10.
And then there's a younger one who's three and a half or four.
And like they're pretty good.
So I had some advertisements due this week and I got them all in it because it's just like freak cloud.
That's like opposite of getting like celebrity videos.
It's like babies will do and say anything you want them to.
Yeah.
I used to have that with my aunt, Susu.
who I think I've talked about.
She used to love being in my videos.
And then ever since she went on record saying she was married to Robert Pattison,
who she says she just calls him Patterson.
So ever since she said she was married to Patterson,
she's been scared that she's going to be sued.
So she won't come back on to my TikTok.
Yeah.
So and that's that.
I mean, my siblings are here this week.
There's no shot of making content with them, unfortunately.
Why do you say that?
It's been a bit of a rocky week with the three of us.
staying in my tiny little one bedroom.
My brother is here in the studio somewhere.
And my sister was going to come, but was not able to because she refused to and is miserable and hasn't spoken in 24 hours.
So you're just adjusting your scarf there?
I'm just getting more comfortable.
I notice my nipple was out.
So I'm going to tuck that one in.
Yeah.
Forgive me if I seem a little bit emotionally drained today because I am, because I've been taking care of my 17-year-old sister who's on a silence strike.
17's a hard age
17's a hard age
And yeah
Well family stuff
And you're gonna go see your family this weekend
Yeah and so they have been here for a week
And now we are all transitioning together
To go visit my dad
Yeah
Who recently has moved to Arizona
Right
So we haven't seen that house yet
So we're all gonna go visit my dad
And my stepmom which is awesome
I'm so so
excited to be spending more time
With my family
Yeah for sure
Especially that I'm excited to be missing Coachella.
And, you know, my friends who aren't going to Coachella are staying at a lake house.
So very exciting that I'll get to move forward with going, but with my siblings who've been here for a week to go to my dad.
I think that that'll be good.
I'm so thrilled.
You just have to really lean into it and turn your phone on.
Yeah, I will.
You're not going to miss out at Coachella.
I'm going to have, I think, maybe the worst fomo of my life.
I'm going to have to delete social media this weekend.
Which will be good for me.
Yeah.
Well, I feel you, because I was up my parents for three days, and three days is pretty much my cap.
So basically, I go home.
This is how it is every single time.
I go home, I'm excited for 10 minutes to see my family.
And then the things start.
Either my dad picks him off the airport and he's listening to AM radio.
And I'm like, listen, maybe we could not do this at the same level that you'd listen to music.
Or he's reading every single sign.
and the hour ride home from the airport.
Oh, look at that.
I'm like, Dad, no, this is not a new build.
This is not a new, like, exit.
They didn't add an exit.
And he's like, Studebaker Road.
There it is.
And we're going to do this a whole way home.
And then there it is, and there it's been for so long.
Or he breathes out of his nose.
Oh, God.
I know.
I know you hate when people breathe.
It sounds like this.
Like little whistle.
I'm like, what has been lodged in your nostril for years where it whistles every single time?
If I'm whistling, I'm taking care of it.
I'm going to the ER.
Right.
And then he yawns like this.
When I yawn, it's like this.
Thank you for those two demonstrations, by the way.
Don't even get me started on the goddamn sneeze.
Oh.
I can't do it because there's audio-only listeners.
Right.
And we would get taken to court.
Right.
I think if I tried to reenact the sneeze.
And then we start with mom.
Mom wakes me up every single day at 6.30.
I just thinks it's inappropriate.
I'm wasting the day if I sleep in past 6.30.
Whoa.
So I've had to start locking my door.
She's found a key to the door,
which I didn't even know like indoor homes had like keys to doors,
like indoor doors.
Right, right.
She comes in and opens my blinds at 6.30 in the morning.
Oh, that would be the end.
Pretty lethal.
But so I have this like parabola of my mood when I get homes.
Right when I get there, I'm like really happy to see my family.
I see him a lot.
And then we get in our first fight.
Uh-huh.
And it is trenches.
Like, why the F did I come home?
What am I doing here?
I live by myself.
Right.
Like whatever.
And then we get past it and it's like, oh, I'm glad to be here.
It's so relaxing to be home.
And then we get in another like less intense fight where everybody's fighting somehow.
Like every person and the family's mad at someone else.
And you can't even make an ally ship for some reason.
Like my sister and I are just like, we're disagreeing.
Dad's not talking to any of us.
My mom's annoyed at my dad.
So it's just like, and then we get better.
And then I leave right when it gets better.
Right.
And then I'm like, oh, I miss him.
Oh, see, to me, I'd feel like at this.
point like face time's good like I can make it one day if I go home and then it's like I'm jealous
that your issues with your parents are just like nose sounds and sneezing like I like there are
some and I'm so sorry mom and dad if you're watching this like love you to death but they're there
you know deeper fundamental character flaws no offense at all of you both yeah but you know
it's just like I'm just like I think we all have some carrier's your flaw yeah oh my
God, I do too.
And my character flaws and my parents' character flaws are always, you know, at the fighting
each other.
Yeah, sure.
Sure, sure.
Yeah.
Well, I'm wishing you the best.
Make sure you take your meds with you.
Yes.
And you know I will, of course.
I, like, found myself, I played a lot of pickleball.
Kick some ass, kick some major 72-year-old ass in Texas playing pickleball.
Broke some ankles.
What is pickleball?
It's basically like mini tennis with like, but bigger ping pong.
Uh-huh.
It's like a hybrid, so you play like half court.
Fun.
Yeah, and you whack the shit out of the ball.
And it's funny, like my muscle memory from playing high school tennis, like always comes back when I play pickleball.
And I'm like, pow, pow.
I'm like, move your ass, Stephen.
It's pretty fun.
Yeah, I'd like to get on the field with you.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, we're seeing a pickleball.
We're seeing a visible.
Like live action ping pong.
Yeah, but so like the ball is like a whiffle ball ball, like that like plastic one with holes in it.
So you can whack these shit out of it.
And it is so fun.
And the old people are actually super good.
I think because it's like a smaller court.
So like you can hit as hard as you want.
It's not going to go that hard.
I have a psychological issue.
I played softball in high school.
And I used to be like really great at batting until one day I got up to the plate and just like completely.
I got the yips.
Now what's the yips?
The yips is I think a golf term where it's like you just like can't hit it.
Right.
And it's like a psychological phenomenon.
Oh, you're psyching yourself out.
So once I missed the ball, like multiple times, and that was sophomore year, I literally never hit the ball again.
Junior year didn't hit the ball.
And then I became the flex player, which was I was allowed out in the field, but they would put someone to bat for me.
Which I wish they would have given me another chance.
Well, I get that was only reinforcing my yips to put someone else in for me.
I totally get the yips for golf.
That's what the yips are from.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Well, now I'm going to start saying the yips.
Now I say I'm just in my head.
Maybe I made that.
I don't, yeah, I really think it's called the yps.
The yips are an involuntary wrist spasm that occur mostly.
Oh, I don't get the yips.
Commonly when golfers are trying to putt.
Do you get the yips?
My yips are psychological wrist spasms.
No, my yips.
I have neuron spasm.
Here's a, oh.
Like, my neurons are not firing right when I'm up.
I just can't hit you.
You're in your head.
I'm in my head.
Yeah.
I have mental yips.
It was once thought that the yips were always associated with performance
anxiety.
Oh yeah.
That's what it is.
But that has been since, I guess, disproven.
Oh.
So we need a new word.
But I think, like, siking yourself out is what you're doing.
Because I, once I broke a couple windows, and I was breaking windows all the time with my
drives.
Once you start doing that, it's like all, like, all like, I'm so on my head, like, oh, I'm going to, I'm
going to go so far right, even though, you know, there's a house, there's one single
house.
house.
Like, I'm going to hit the house every single time because I'm so in my head.
Right.
But once you're just like, I don't give a shit.
I'm not Tiger Woods.
This isn't the masters.
I can.
It doesn't matter how I hit it.
It goes straight.
But my softball coach, like, to us, like, we were Tiger Woods and this was the Masters.
And he's now in jail.
Yeah.
But for armed robbery, of course.
But he was like, he took B-team, girl softball so seriously.
Armed robbery.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's gone.
Locked up.
But yeah.
Bless his heart.
Sweetheart.
Well, while you were gone, I had another bit of trauma.
Oh yeah, yeah.
Unfortunately.
Play that and I also really quickly want to say before.
Wait,
sure.
Hang on.
Keep talking.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Well, as some of you know who've been listening to this podcast for a bit now,
I had a little crush on one of the trainers at Equinox, which I had just joined.
And I was not thinking clearly and said his name on the podcast without changing it.
So, well, I guess I'll just take you to the beginning of the story.
Basically, I had seen the.
You can use his name now.
Because I know.
Logan, his name is Logan.
You might as well just say hi to him.
Hi, Logan.
Because it has come to my attention via him telling me that he has heard this.
So I'll take you back to the beginning.
I walk on Equinox on my first day.
I'm looking at the like board with all the trainer's pictures on it.
And I see Logan and I'm like, huh.
Imagine if he was my trainer.
Like that could be the beginning of something beautiful.
Something really steamy.
And me, yeah, instead of keeping that to myself and just being like, oh, someone's cute.
Like I can just get that to myself.
I posted on Instagram and immediately requested a fan fiction be written about me and Logan.
And then to my surprise, I genuinely kind of trying to clear my name here, even though I don't deserve to have my name cleared because it's all my fault.
Someone did write that fan fiction of Logan being my trainer.
And then I, again, I guess I didn't have to post what she had written, immediately posted it.
And then brought that fan fiction that was written to this podcast studio, handed it over.
over to you and I said Connor how about you read this on air without changing anyone's name that
sounds like a good idea and you did I did and then fast forward a few weeks later I'm checking in at
equinox you always check in at the front desk and one of the guys who had always checked me in was
always super nice was like I have to confess I love the podcast big fan of you um we all got a good
laugh and I'm thinking oh my god like what a freaking sweetheart love him to death I'm walking up the stairs
to Equinox stopped dead in my tracks, realizing the implications of what he had said,
meaning we all had a good laugh, meaning I'm thinking, Logan, myself and the other staff,
at the Equinox West Hollywood, i.e. Logan. So then I come back, I tell that on the podcast,
whatever, we're in deep in the saga. Last week while you were away, I'm on the bike,
minding my own business. Keep in mind at this point, I have never seen Logan in person. This is all
just so blown up by me blowing it up.
no one's fault but my own
and I'm on the bike
listening to my glee playlist
and lo and behold
Logan out of nowhere
he comes up to me
he starts to say hi
I'm so embarrassed I'm so embarrassed
like didn't even let him get out of word
and I was like I'm so sorry I'm so sorry and he goes
I'm Logan babe I know
I know who you are
I'm like a community of people that you are now
and I couldn't stop I was like I'm so embarrassed I'm so embarrassed I'm so
sorry, I'm so sorry. Can I have a picture?
There it is. And there's the photo. And he is.
Everybody that responded to that was like, of course you wanted a fan fiction with him.
Look at him. He really came up to you into a longtime listener, first time approacher at Equinox.
And he also was like, what's your name again? Which, well, I guess like, which is good to hear.
He doesn't, that would make me think he doesn't really listen to the podcast. Thank
fucking God. Someone probably just sent him a clip, which is, which is great. I
feel like best case scenario but anyway there he is and everyone's like yeah he's so cute and he is so
cute he was so nice um i like kind of blacked out the whole thing i couldn't stop saying like i'm so
embarrassed i'm so embarrassed and then i was like why can i actually have a picture with you i'm so
embarrassed um but that was that and it's kind of just you know it's ongoing i don't know what's
going to happen next i would be completely fine with this being the final chapter um i feel like i've
put him through enough. He's gone through so much at my hands. And do I want this to be the final
chapter? Yes. Do I want something else to happen? A little bit. Right. Because I have to say
meeting him kind of changed the game. Sure. And not to manifest something that I can't tell if you
want to happen or not, but I did see a TikTok that the activity in the steam rooms that's against
corporate policy at Equinox hasn't increased quite a bit. So I think. Well, I think.
I think that's mostly in, like, I don't think he could come in the woman's breast.
Well, he's a certified trainer.
If you needed to be stretched out, there's a time in place for that.
Yeah, but now that I know him, I don't want to speak like that about him.
Oh, my bad.
Just because he, I am being respectful.
I know, but it's his job to stretch your hamstrings.
Yeah, but not in the steam room.
Sometimes steam activates muscles that.
Maybe.
So.
Yeah.
Anyway, all I have to say is he was so, so nice.
and can't thank him enough.
So sorry for what I've put him through.
He didn't ask for any of this, but that's where we are.
I'd be flattered.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I think I would too.
Yeah.
But I do feel bad also because it's like, when does it end?
He's probably like, God, I hope it's done.
And he came up to you.
I'm not capable of not talking about it.
He came up to you.
He came up to me.
He came up to me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's that.
And that's that.
Something else that happened.
Have you gone to the gym since seeing?
No, I have not gone to the gym since seeing him because my siblings have been here in their major cock blocks.
But no, I haven't.
I have not.
I have not been to the gym and I don't know if I'm going back.
After this episode, I'll be disjoining.
You can come to the one in San Monica.
Yeah.
But I mean, I'm like, like, what's it, masochist?
Like when you like are like
Wanting your own pain
Like gets off on their own pain
No
That's where I am at this point
Like I like dread seeing him
And every all the trainers who know about it
But I also like there's a part of me
That's like
Hi it's me the crazy girl
Who's talking about all be on my podcast
You know?
Yeah I can see both sides
I don't know if masochus is the right word
I'm pretty sure that's someone that choose on something
A person who derives sexual gratification
From their own pain and humiliation
I think that my own pain and humiliation
Wait can
Can we figure out the word for the chewing?
Misophonia.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
That's misophonia.
Misophonia.
But masochism.
Mascicism?
Massacism?
No, masochism is the, like, the ism of being a masochist.
No, chewing, chewing, chewing, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew.
That's called chewing.
No, it's called masochism.
No, masochism is the act of being a, is...
The tendency to derive...
Yeah.
There's something that has...
Someone maybe will be able to circle back
for you privately. Oh, speaking of chewing.
I just wanted to play this video really quickly.
So I don't like chewing, as we all know.
Oh, I'm terrified. Is this of me? Oh, masticate.
Oh.
Because we would always say this in like elementary school because it sounded like
master babe. And it was funny. But we were like...
This is a new word for me. It's kind of like saying
weeness, like your wieness is out.
Yeah. But with...
This one is Masticate. And it just means chew,
parentheses, food. Good to know. New word for me.
Yeah. Okay, so...
I'm nervous about this video.
Don't be. It's just like I don't like chewing, but one thing I do like is my dog chewing on water
melon. I'm just going to play that in the night. Okay.
And that's my dog's sake. Chewing water. Come on, feast.
For someone who doesn't like chewing, that is an insane chewing sound. That is like the most
chewing sound I've ever heard. It's pretty awesome to me. But. Wow. Yeah. So interesting. I don't,
yeah. Okay. Seems like there's a bit of a contradiction there. I know. Well, I can't explain.
I mean it's a medical, no, it's a medical, what's that incredible thing that happens.
Phenomenon.
It's a medical phenomenon.
It's a medical phenomenon.
Something else happened in our personal eyes, which is pretty cool.
Yes.
Do you want to tell it?
Yeah, I'll tell.
Okay.
Okay, another follow up to something that happened last week.
I don't know which one of you guys is listening.
That's friends with Alexandra Didario, but thank you for your service.
Thank you for everything you've done for us on this podcast.
We talked about last week how my name had been in
Alexander's, Alex, as I like to call her, since we've just gone through a lot.
We've gone a lot together.
A lot of life has transpired in the past couple of years.
And obviously, like, we said, you know, my name was in her bio for a while.
And then she took it out.
And then it was nothing.
It was just, hi, I'm Alex.
And then, guys, the clip got posted last week.
And then it came to our attention that she's now changed her bio to,
hi, it's me, Alex.
This is a Connor Wood and Brooke Averick Fan account.
Isn't that insane?
That is Herbio on TikTok
So feel free to go check it out
We've had some serious milestones
I think that this is the biggest one
I agree I have felt
Ever since I discovered that I have felt different
Walking around the world
I'm just walking around with an awareness
Of my name being in her bio
It really
It really does something to the psyche
Opposite of the Yips I would say
Yeah it's like giving you this like false confidence
That I don't deserve
SPIY what's that Spies
Yep, backwards.
Yeah.
But I did, and then I messaged her.
She didn't follow me before.
She followed me.
And then I was like, oh, my God.
And I texted you and Ryan, our producer who loves her.
And I was like, look, she just followed me.
And then I clicked on her just to be like, what kind of content does she produce?
And then saw the bio.
And then it was like a crazy chain of events.
She's so awesome.
She's so awesome.
Like, that is crazy to be like that famous and be like, let me give these kids.
Like, this will make these kids say, like, might have.
well just like put it in she's so awesome i know i really she's so cool i messaged her and said
something stupid that i wish i hadn't said it's okay it was just like love you like the stupid
classic i was in the middle of my pickleball tournament i had had like three i p a so i was just like
this is not actually happened yeah this is like it's did this feel more intense than the first
time you were in it uh or less intense that was that was crazy because i was like
she's like obviously i knew who she was but like now i'm like way i'm like way
more aware. She's been in like every one of my like favorite shows recently too. White Lotus.
She's in white lotus. She's been in like a lot of other stuff that's like been way more like
relevant to like what's happening right now. But like I'm a huge, huge, huge fan. She's definitely
she's approaching tier one for me. Whoa. Because of just I feel like I know her. It's loaded.
I feel like I know her. I have a white loaded emotional relationship digitally with her now. I feel like it's
we're friends. Like it you know. Right.
What's crazy to me is what I know her from is Baywatch.
Yeah.
And me too.
Well, yeah.
The Zach Ephron movie.
And you know,
Zach Ephron means so much to me.
The reason for my username, Lady Ephron,
is because of him.
When I was making my AOL address,
my screen name on AIM,
Mrs. Efron was taken.
Right.
Mrs. Ephron 1 was taken.
Right.
And so it had to be Lady Ephron.
Due to my love for Zach,
he was my tier one.
Yeah.
Through all of middle school.
So that's so amazing to me that I'm basically like,
So close to him.
I'm just curious.
Via Alex.
I'm just curious.
Yeah, you're one degree of separation.
She's following 12 people.
Wait.
Can we see who else she's following?
Oh, crap, we can't because it's on desktop.
That's okay.
Damn, who are the 12 she's following?
I don't know.
I can look on my phone.
What's, hang on, hang on.
That is, I mean, it's me.
Wait, so we're like, we're like 20% of her following.
You might just, you might have been the first follower because, okay, 12 following.
I don't even want to know.
The first person she followed was you.
I have to go.
Damn it.
I have to go to the rest of the room.
Don't let your scarf hold you back.
That is crazy.
And then I don't know anyone else.
She just followed me.
Wait.
That's crazy.
That is really.
Oh my God.
I love her so much.
I love her so much.
I feel so strongly about my love for her.
That's crazy.
That is like I'm sweating.
That is really crazy.
That's a crazy thing to go into the weekend.
It's Wednesday.
to go into the weekend knowing that, whoa.
I know.
Wait, the first person she followed on TikTok?
Yep.
Holy shit.
I'm going to tell you that every time you're in a grumpy mood.
Whoa, I'm stretched and sweat over here.
I know, that is really cool.
That is crazy.
Alex, like, I don't know how you saw it or if you're listening, but we love you.
We just.
I love to have you on.
Yep, that's true.
If you're willing and able.
I don't think I would be able to say one thing to her.
Would you?
No, because.
I would be dead sight.
Some people, like her, like obviously very like just normal.
Like I know that sounds weird, but like when you have like a normal personality, like it shows.
You know, like I feel like she's so normal.
But then like having the like to look like her, there's only like a couple people that like can sit on that pedestal of like being just insanely gorgeous.
But then like being like a normal person.
Like Matthew.
Right.
And then also being like an insane A-lister.
where and it brings up a point that I've that I've harped on so many times before
there's people that look like that oh I know where we're going with this yeah and I'm not
just talking about Alex I'm talking about like throw Zach into that before he got his like
whatever facial reconstruction that made him look like a Lego I like people like that like
hear this that is so scary to me I'm thinking of okay so people that are tens you know like
11s out of 10.
It makes me wonder, like, who is it?
Like, we as humans have come so far.
Here we are.
We've evolved.
Whatever your beliefs are, like evolution has happened, and we've lost, we have tail bones, but we don't have tails because we figure out we don't need those.
There's something that happens in our organs where, like, we no longer have, like, our spleen is.
Our bodies know what's evolutionarily advantageous for us.
Yes.
That's what I'm saying.
Right.
We've, like, evolved to not need certain body parts.
We've evolved to not need.
organs that like like what's what's the one organ that like doesn't do anything you don't need your appendix
appendix but we still have that and we don't know what it does right because it's been so long they say
that it may have been to digest wood okay okay um we're not most of us aren't eating wood right
anymore now tell me Logan if you're listening uh tell me who it's benefiting evolutionarily
speaking for anyone to be fugly well I don't understand I'm I don't even
Like, why doesn't everyone look like Kendall Jenner?
Who is it benefiting?
Who is it benefiting for me to not be able to lose the 10 pounds that I need to lose
and not look like Kendall?
How come every year in my off season I lose my jaw line?
Just like, if our bodies are truly made to help us progress evolutionarily and reproduce,
what is the point of not everyone being an 11 out of 10?
I don't get it.
I also don't get it.
And I'm sure, like everything,
except for the appendix, there is a reason
for this diversity in the gene pool.
I guess because if everyone looked hot,
if everyone was Kendall Jenner.
Who is that hurting?
Let me tell you,
let me tell you where my brain's going right now.
From a math and science.
Let me tell you where my brain's going right now.
Tyre Banks wouldn't be able to have her show next hot model
because everyone would be hot.
Like that's the only downside of...
Can I talk?
Yeah, sorry.
I'm fired up.
I get it.
I'm sorry.
I don't know who I'm upset with, but...
God.
Okay.
If everybody looked the same,
then...
Not the same.
I'm not saying the same.
If everyone looked at that hot, then everyone would be hot.
And then there would be too many similarities.
Like, let's say hot people have similar genes because they're hot.
So it's like the features that we think are hot have similar DNA coding.
I am talking out of my ass right now.
I know.
Okay?
These similar DNA coding, when you're reproducing with these similar strands of DNA,
they can create like disabilities and stuff.
because you're supposed to have a lot of diversity.
Boo.
No, that doesn't make sense at all.
Not really?
No, because DNA is all like, looks is.
And I'm not saying disabilities are bad.
I want to be very clear about that.
Well, looks have nothing to do with like fucking your cousin.
Right.
That's where like you start to have issues with the DNA ulure makeup is like when you start
reproducing with your relatives.
Or if you have recessive means or rain.
It could be kind of like your relatives when you're producing with someone who looks so much like you.
There could be so many similarities there that your genes are really similar.
And you're not supposed to reproduce with somebody who is really similar genes to you, even though that's probably not true at all.
It's not.
So I don't get it then.
I'm just trying to think of a reason.
I know.
Sometimes I just think that life isn't fair.
But I, and I get that and I know that on a level.
But what is the evolutionary point?
John Green.
Wait. Hank Green.
Step in here.
Explain to me who it's benefiting for anyone to be fugly.
And I'm not pointing anyone out specifically,
but it's like, what the hell?
I don't even, just like not looking like Kendall Jenner.
I don't even want to, like, I get, I just don't get why everyone's not, like, a 10.
Okay, we're, me and you are equally confused.
I'm just a little bit more fired up about it because I don't think that anyone should,
we didn't, we weren't born with a bench press in our ass.
Like, this isn't something that, like, I should have to do.
I just don't get why everyone isn't the same level of attractiveness.
Why don't I just look like Logan?
Why do I have to pay for an Equinox membership to look like him?
Right.
I've always wished there was a pill that you could take.
No, you have no idea where I'm going with this, actually.
There's a pill that you could take and you would light up a specific color that would tell you, like, who you're compatible with.
So the people that would also light up, just like from a mate perspective in evolution, like if we were compatible, like you would light up as red and I would light up as red and I would light up as red.
read so we would know like that's a good match.
And so you don't have to look really.
You can just look at who's the same color as you via pill.
You've lost me, unfortunately.
But here's, it does beg the question, personality.
That's going to defer people.
That's going to make people more attractive or not.
Right.
And I think that, you know what?
It's not possible.
So it's actually not possible that people would be the same level of
attractiveness ever because someone's always going to have a better personality than
someone else.
Or would no one have a good personality because you'd be hot and you don't need one?
No, I've met.
So many moving parts.
I've recently met a couple hot people that have good personality.
Logan.
And it sucks.
It sucks.
I used to say you can't have it all.
I used to say that to you.
Ever since meeting Matthew, Matthew Griguber,
nicest guy I've ever met.
Don't you agree?
And funny.
Nice.
So nice, so funny, so talented, so good looking.
Alexander DeGrario.
Look at Alex here.
So nice, so sweet, so funny, so talented.
Look at Logan.
Niceest guy I've ever met.
So hot.
So fit.
Yeah.
Oh, look at him.
He's so sweet.
He looks like a Pokemon to me.
And I don't mean that in a negative way.
What Pokemon?
The, like, turtle.
He's so sweet and so cute.
You're just putting him down.
No, no, no, no, no.
I love Pokemon.
I used to collect Pokemon cards.
Okay.
So, anyways, I guess we rest our case.
I guess, like, when we went off on a bit of a tangent there.
If someone does, if someone's a biology specialist, like, step in and explain.
why everybody isn't a 10.
Right.
I don't get it.
I hope that you guys know we are speaking about ourselves not being tens.
Oh, I mean, I guess I don't mean to speak to you, but I'm talking about myself when I say,
why can't we all just?
No, no, I am too.
I'm not putting it.
I hope it didn't come across and I'm putting anyone down because I'm not.
Well, if you relate to this, then like, maybe we're all in this together.
Yeah.
There's probably some tens listening like, wow, I do not understand what they're talking about.
And that message is not for you.
Right.
And keep enjoying your awesome.
life and with your awesome friends and those awesome drinks and do you have so much fun
just what Connor said um yeah anyways I guess we should get off our personal
tangents okay some stuff happened I just I just saw did you see the uh Kim Kardashian and Pete
Davidson went on a date with Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos I saw the picture of Kim and Pete
on a date out to dinner but was that the date they went on with with Jeff no that's what I
saw and this is so insane to me because Pete is not looking like Pete. Pete is looking more like
a Kardashian to me. Like he's looking like I don't know what he's looking like Kanye to me for
whatever reason. And I know that objectively Pete Davidson and Kanye West do not look like. But there's
like I don't know his energy or something is giving me Kanye. Like he is morphing to be a part of
the Kardashian family looks wise to me. And I can't explain why. I can explain why. Please. His facial hair
Is that it?
Yeah, and like his mouth and no.
There's something going, like.
If you zoom in and I did yesterday because I was studying the photo, it's obviously heavily, like, edited by somebody.
He looks like Kanye.
He's like, his jawline for whatever reason is now like really sharp, whereas I didn't notice that.
Yeah.
Doesn't that look like Kanye's mouth or something?
Like he's looking, I don't, more conventionally Kardashian, like hot.
Whereas before he was like dirty, hot.
Did you watch Pam and Tommy at all?
I bet.
I watched the first three episodes.
This is exactly like that to me.
He's like the first person that's ever become famous for just being a dude.
Well, he's funny.
You don't agree?
I think he just carries himself in a way that like funny, depressed people do.
Yes.
That makes like very, very hot people attracted to them because it's just endearing.
Like, yeah, bad boy vibes.
But like girls love me included like mentally ill men.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And he really kind of took the throne there.
Yeah, you did.
Yeah.
And we thank you for that, Pete.
We salute you.
But yeah, he is just looking completely different to me.
Yeah.
You were also telling me about something happened with Kim sex tape again.
Oh, yeah.
So Kim's son.
I can't remember.
Mason?
No.
Rain.
That's not.
Oh, sorry.
Those are not her kids.
Sorry, those are Courtney's.
Saint?
I think it was Saint.
I can't keep up all the kids, to be honest.
Psalm is like two or three.
I think it was Saint.
Yeah, it was Saint.
Yeah.
And I guess Saint was on Roblox, which is like an online game.
I don't really know how to explain Roblox, to be honest.
I've never played it.
But it's like a very, very genzy and younger, like online game.
Were you like, have you heard of Minecraft?
I think it's similar to Minecraft.
Can we?
Does anyone know?
I don't know.
I don't have the information.
Can I even Google what Robox is?
Is it a game or is it a gaming platform?
It's like online.
So you play it with other people, yes.
Oh, okay.
So kind of like among us maybe?
Yeah.
So he found someone.
He found Kim's sex tape on gaming?
I need to confirm, but basically like either someone messaged him or her sex tape popped up.
And so.
Are you sure it was saying?
I thought you were telling me it was Mason.
No, it wasn't Mason.
Mason is Courtney's drive.
I know.
That's why I thought it was her.
It was saint.
It was saint.
So, yeah, it's similar to Minecraft.
It's like an online community thing.
You spend a lot of money on it and you get like, you remember Roomscape?
Damn.
I've heard of that, yeah.
Yeah.
But I was more like Webkins Club Penguin.
Okay.
I mean, it's similar, kind of.
But basically.
Neopets, if you will.
Either someone DMTam.
him, like, message him on the platform, or there was something that popped up with his mom,
interacting sexually with Ray J.
And so in the first, in the trailer, in, like, teaser for the new Kardashian show on Hulu,
she's crying, calling Kanye.
She called Kanye and was like, whatever.
And then I guess now there's, like, rumors that someone, like, Ray J or someone in Ray J's,
like, his manager or something, is now threatening that they have, like, another sex tape that they'll release.
That is so heartbreaking because I know Kim has gone on record and said like the only reason she like truly, truly regrets it is because our kids would see it.
She came.
She came on.
I guess like in this teaser for the new show, she came on.
I was like, I will burn you to the fucking ground.
Like, do you think that that that is so sad?
Do you think like that we're talking about I'm pretty sure she's probably like the most powerful woman in the world.
I agree.
Like that New Zealand president.
She didn't told me she was going to burn me to the ground.
I'd just move forward with burning myself to the ground before she could.
There's no country you could escape to in the world that you could escape the wrath.
So.
So like that New Zealand president.
The St. Watch it, do you know?
No, we don't have any information on that.
But do you think that the Kardashians have ever had anyone killed?
No.
Like Chris?
No.
I don't.
Really?
Yeah, I think they haven't.
You think they have.
I mean, no.
Because I think if they had, there's no one...
What do you think? Burn you to the ground means?
Well, no one's dead.
Yet.
So, there's no one dead for me to be like, oh, the Kardashians might have had them killed.
You think that the Kardashians have someone killed and you wouldn't, you would know a single thing about it?
Yeah, because I know everything about their whole lives, because you can't not.
Because you know what they want you to know.
I don't think they've had anyone killed.
I firmly like believe that they are that Chris no I think that Kim is a good person I think that
too I think Kim is a really good person and I don't think she would kill anyone yeah Chris would do
anything to protect her family and I know that about Chris including maybe I don't I mean I don't
I don't want to put to be honest like I'm hesitant to go on record after knowing that people listen to this
podcast and say that this person has probably had someone killed.
I don't want that to come out of my mouth.
Well, I think, no, no, I'm not saying they're like, oh, you brought us the wrong order
at Nobu Malibu.
Well, say bye to your family.
I know what you're saying.
I think it, I think it would be more like.
And I don't want to go on record and say and agree with you.
I know.
I'm saying like I wouldn't have someone killed, but if they're threatening my family and
I have the money and resources, I'm burning you to the fucking ground.
I think she meant emotionally burning them to the ground.
I guess we'll never know, truly.
Okay, moving on.
Anyways, that was something that I thought.
And then, so I guess Pete and Kim went on a date with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.
And there they are.
I simply just don't know what timeline we're living in or that is something that's happening.
And I'm so curious, like Pete, a 17-year-old comedian from Long Island.
doing jokes
just his
track
his track to hanging out
with the second richest person
on the planet
and going to space with him
like the conversations
that are had in this room
I can't even imagine
like so
do you want to role play
a conversation
between
Kim and so Jeff
between Jeff and Pete
I'm thinking Jeff got there
first with Lauren Sanchez
okay I know nothing about
Lauren Sanchez
am I saying that right
I don't know
Lawrence Hentges
Yeah
I don't know anything about Jeff
besides that he owns
Amazon
So that's all I can offer you
From the perspective of Jeff
So I'll be taking the role of Jeff
I guess
Right
Okay go ahead
I'm sitting down at the table first
Sure
And Pete's not there
I'm arriving
I'll be Pete
Hi Pete
Hey Pete
Hey Jeff
Can I interest you in free
Two Day shipping
With Amazon Prime
What the fuck, man
I don't know
I don't know what they talked about
Right, and I think that just goes to show you
That no one could possibly fathom
What's coming out of their mouths at that dinner table
It's just like so fucking bonkers to me
That these four, I mean like I don't know who Lauren Sanchez is
Or how she got into this situation
But like Cam Kardashian and Pete Davidson
That was wild to me
Like Pete
I see none of myself and Pete
but I think that we would get along
and I think that Kim and I would get along
and I'm gonna get in big trouble for saying this
but I think Jeff and I would get along
because he obviously like parties and he has fun
like if he wasn't an evil billionaire
that like had literal slaves working for him
I think that like he seems like a fun guy to hang out with.
I think you could be a horrible person
and know how to party for sure.
Yeah, I do.
Yeah, I know, I know.
You don't have to be a billionaire to be a bad person.
Right.
You can just be wearing a,
A scarf.
It would just be like an approachable manipulative douchebath.
Right.
Right.
That's going to.
Yeah.
That's true.
Yeah.
So I know.
Who is Lauren Sanchez?
I know I have no idea.
I think there's a news anchor.
She's a banker?
News anchor.
Oh, she's a news anchor.
She's a news anchor.
We have just been informed.
Fascinating.
That's great.
Lauren Wendy Sanchez is an American media personality who gained fame as an entertainment reporter and news anchor.
She's been a guest host on The View.
co-host on KTTV, Fox 11, Good Day, LA,
and anchor on Fox 11, 10 o'clock news.
So she's just media person.
This is fascinating.
We're living in the renaissance of A1 celebrities,
A-list celebrities and billionaires,
reaching out to people that have personalities.
Right. It is interesting.
Something that I don't think I've seen in my life time.
Something to keep our eyes on.
Something to keep our eyes on as personalities on the podcast.
Jeff, Connor wants to party with you.
DMs are open.
Your boat looks super nice.
I know that I think we've placed a hold on it.
So it is, it is stationary.
Right.
I'm willing to get on a flight.
I do think I would, I'll sit that one out.
Okay.
And, and, and, I think I could talk.
And I know you'll post about it, so I'll be able to see that way.
I think I can talk him through some of his huge issues because I'm very in touch with the Twitter community.
And I also believe many billionaires are evil.
Right.
I can't, don't really know what I'm talking about.
I know.
I've noticed.
I'm just agreeing with a sentiment.
Yeah, let's move on. That's totally fine. What should we talk about?
Well, that's something we should never say. Oh, sorry.
Because you hate it. And I've avoided saying. Oh, okay. Well, then just fire me from on site.
Well, obviously we've been like digging for stories. This has been a very slow like week in terms of anything happening at all.
It's been a huge week for me. I knit the sweater. I met Logan. My siblings are here.
I'm slowly losing my mind.
A lot happening for me personally.
I wanted to read you off the Coachella lineup.
Okay.
Oh, I'm going to get so upset.
No, no, no, no.
That I'm not there.
Here's what I'm going to say.
So they replace like Kanye West with 36 Mafia in the weekend.
Right.
So now I'm going to leave Sunday, like early because I don't really need.
I don't have a need to see the weekend or 36 Mafia.
Okay.
Harry Styles is Friday.
I know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I'm just going to read it.
off and like raise your hand when you know someone that's playing it's an ass lineup okay
harry styles raising my hand little baby daniel caesar phoebe bridgers and big sean big sean's my
number one out of that list i know i've heard his name but i don't know what he sings like to have i love
lewis the child yeah but have them the top of the list for a show at coach out is pretty wild because i
saw them on a college campus last time still woozy who's one of my favorite bands city girls
Oh, there we go.
Oh, sick.
Okay.
Omar Apollo.
And then Carly Ray Jepson is like pretty high up on the list, which is just like crazy.
I wonder why.
Like the people that I want to see are the small, the chats are on Friday.
Are you excited for Harry?
You know, I don't, you know, she's another person that's like an A1 celebrity that I think that I would be friends with.
but like I'm not like a super fan
like I don't really need to go see him
that is absurd
that that would come out of anyone's mouth
to me as it was
his new song
I like I don't dislike the music
I just don't think that it's groundbreaking
Elton John music you know like
it's incredible
Saturday Billy Elish is headlining
followed by Flume who is fantastic
live so much fun
Megan the Stallion
I haven't seen
and I think that she'd be really fun
because she kind of shaped the past two years
on TikTok and in quarantine.
Right.
And I'm ready to shake some ass.
You love her.
By Saturday, I'll be ready to shake some ass.
Disclosure, another fantastic one.
These are all, so Flume and Disclosure are like...
I don't know either of them.
Like electronic music.
But like, Flume is like the Lord remix that like went super crazy when we were in like high school.
21 Savage.
He hasn't come out with any music in a while.
And then that's really...
Brock Hampton is.
broken up. This is their last performance. So did
Kanye pull out or was he
he pulled out because he had an issue with Billy
Elish? Oh, I do remember that. Because she
said something about him.
Right. And then he was like, all right, well if
she's performing then I'm not gone. And then everyone was like, okay, bye.
You got to, I mean like
I got to give it to him for following through
because he is kind of all
talk and then to actually pull out. And then
so the weekend came out and was like
they were going to pay Kanye $8 million
dollars, I think, to perform for an hour.
and then the weekend they were going to pay like three or four or something and he's like I'm not doing it unless you pay me what you're going to pay Kanye which I think that they're up there to pretty celebrity wise like together did they end up paying the weekend eight million oh good for him got to give it up for negotiation so proud and then Swedish cash mafia and obviously we can have replaced con yeah I mean it's not like the only person I would really die to see is Harry Seiles but I would like to see him just intimately in the comfort of my own home yeah
As opposed to at Coachella.
I'm going to play it so cool.
I'm so excited not to, like, be in love with anybody.
I have five people I want to see.
Uh-huh.
And like a lot of them, like I said, are the small.
I'm not even trying to be cool.
And I don't, I've never been to Coachella.
I don't know anything about it.
Oh, role models playing.
You have VIP tickets, right?
Yeah.
Does that mean you can meet the performer?
It means absolutely nothing besides I can sit down in a chair.
Oh.
So what would you, what's the non-VIP option general?
GA, you would just, G.
GA, you would just not have access to chairs?
I've never been
But
You can
There's bath
There's like private bathrooms
Uh
There's Wi-Fi
Oh
And there's chairs
Yeah
And I guess like you can get drinks
In the VIP too
I mean I can barely make it
Through a two-hour concert
So I obviously don't think a music festival
Is the move for me
But that being sad
I'm not there
I swore to myself after ACL and Austin
I would never do a three-day festival
Because you get to day three
And it's like
Well also the way that we act
I get to
I need to be sleeping in my own bed every night with my fan blasting full power in my face and the ceiling fan on and my ocean sounds.
So when I don't have that, it's like a nightmare.
Yeah.
And I can't imagine not having that.
It's debilitating exactly.
Can't imagine not having my ocean sounds for three nights.
Anyways, well, I leave tomorrow.
I could bring my echo dot to the tents.
You'd also bring your AirPods and just like sleep in AirPods.
Yeah, it's not the same.
I, yeah, so I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon to go out to the desert.
Me too, to go out to the desert of Arizona.
Wow. Actually, like, a lot of the small people are pretty good. Beach Bunny is really good. Current joys are so good. I just saw them. Freddie Gibbs. The chats are so good. I don't know. I don't know anyone. And that's okay. And I'm not going to miss out. Okay. Anyways, moving on. That would be good. I think we should do an email.
Okay, perfect. Let's do an email. A lot of people. Did we, did we? Oh, yeah. Okay. There we are. We got a lot of emails.
We got some hot cakes. We got some stores. We got some stores.
Stories.
I haven't added any new prompts because it really hasn't slowed down at all.
So we've actually like have so much lined up.
But we have, we'll have fun ones next week.
I'm excited to meet everybody at Coachella.
I'm sure I'm a lot of people.
Oh, I'm excited to hear about who you meet.
And we could tell stories next week.
And the stories that you tell.
But here's an interesting hot take we got.
This is from Hope.
And we've kind of alluded to this.
This is the theme of the episode, basically.
This whole episode.
It's a per-it's really perfect for this.
This whole episode is about this.
Hope wrote in to let us know that she thinks hot men are not attractive.
Agree.
For the most part, if you take a Zach Efron, okay, when he is at his most conventionally attractive,
which by those conventions would be like mussely, like blonde, whatever, like he is in Baywatch, not attractive.
to him in the slightest. But when he's at his boyish
hairspray high school musical,
that's when he is
a heartthrob to me. But I guess you could also say he's hot
in the high school musical and hairspray.
I think he's more cute there to me. I think what it
is is like you wouldn't like want to be
with someone like that long term. It's like what the
like this is not even. Well I'd want to be with hairspray Zach
long term but not Bay. Like Baywatch Zach I wouldn't go near.
Yeah. And that's like the most conventionally attracted.
I've had that.
situation happen where I'm like this is just not
this is not going to work because it's like
we're not equal like this is not
like you want it to be at least you don't want
you know the person you're with to be like
way hotter than well I'm sure people that are very
secure and confident or like yeah no I'm
I'm cool with like my girlfriend or boyfriend
being like five points
hotter than me and I'm lucky to be with this person
whatever and they're in love but like
until I get through a couple more months of my better help
situation therapy situation
I don't think I'm in a place where I want like a significant other that's.
Oh.
Candace Swanopal or whatever.
Yeah.
Well, people were DMing me in response to my picture with Logan and they were like, ask him out.
And I was like, where, what world do you live in where that would be something that the world doesn't work like that?
Like, oh, my legs is.
But I will say to aunt like, yeah, Logan is not to bring it all back to Logan, who I swore I'd never speak about again.
but he's hot and attractive, don't you think?
Textbook, yeah.
Textbook.
And I think he's attractive.
So I think maybe I'm changing.
Maybe I'm growing.
That's good.
Yeah.
Maybe I'm accepting the love I think I deserve now.
Awesome.
Yeah, that is awesome.
That's great.
But no, I'm not because I won't,
I would never, like, think that that would be a possibility.
I'm not accepting any love that I feel I deserve.
Yeah.
So.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Except from Alexander to DeVario.
I think this hot.
take is something that most people would agree with.
And there's a lot of psychological layers to it as well, i.e. accepting the love you think you deserve.
Let's circle back to this in the future and see how we feel. But right now I'm feeling like I'm beginning. I agree with this for the most part, but there are exceptions.
Thank you for your take.
Yeah, I agree with that. We got another one from Katie. Thanks, Katie, for writing in. We love you, Katie.
Trader Joe's is trash, says Katie.
Trader Joe's is the most overrated grocery store.
They are never conveniently located.
The inside is overwhelming.
Why is everything pre-packaged?
I can never just go to the grocery shopping.
I can never just go grocery shopping at Trader Joe's.
In a ranking of grocery stores, Trader Joe's is last.
Let's say if we agree or disagree on three.
Yeah.
Okay.
One, two, three.
I don't know.
Oh.
So I really like Trader Joe's in college because no one knew about it.
Like my mom was shopping at Trader Joe's.
They hadn't even built one near my mom yet.
She was driving 45 minutes out to like go to Trader Joe's.
But that goes to her point of being inconvenient and located for you.
They build them in areas that are like where a sweet green would be.
Like it's not like in it's weird.
I don't get how that works like with zoning.
Gentrification.
Yeah, it is gentrification.
But like I don't know how zoning laws work where like they obviously are getting data based on like household income where that's where they're building.
Trader Joe's. Like that's literally what it must be because like my parents just got one that's now it's 30 minutes away instead of 45. Right. But I was like, yeah. But I, so in college, I did like convince my friends to go instead of AGB. I'm like, we can get all this food that we could throw in. It's all frozen. It's like so we like that it was prepackaged in college. I like that it's pre-packaged now because I only have an air fryer. If you think I'm turning on my stovetop. Right. You've got another thing. I'm going to burn you to the fucking ground.
Right, right.
I'm not turning on my stove top.
Via air fryer.
You know what?
I did turn on my stovetop recently on accident until I smelled gas.
And I texted my landlord and I said, hey, there is a gas leak in my apartment and he came over and turned off my stup.
But the thing that I don't like about Trader Joe's, and I'm making a TikTok about this, but it's been a little bit hard to put into words is how sexual everything is in Trader Joe's.
Oh, I didn't know that's where you were going.
Yeah.
Okay.
And I saw a tweet from Rachel Sinnott.
It said, it said,
either everyone at Trader Joe's wants to fuck me
or everyone at Trader Joe's is fucking, but there's something
sexual going on in there. And I couldn't
agree more. It's like when you're at a gate
at the airport and someone your age
is sitting at that gate. That I felt, but I haven't felt
in. It happens in Trader Joe. Oh, I haven't
felt that a Trader Joe. Every Sunday I walk in and I
get nothing that I need and then I get overwhelmed. I start sweating.
Everyone's looking at me. I can't tell if they want to kill me
or have sex with me. And then I leave. And I
have nothing that I need. Wow, I actually don't, I haven't really had a sexual experience. I bet you're
unaware of it. Now next time you go back, you're going to be like, what's going on in aisle five?
Oh, God. I hope not. I hope I have in my pants. I hope not. I don't need any other places. I already
have the gym. Um, you know, but I love Trader Joe's. So I disagree with that hot take. Oh, nice.
I love Trader Joe's. I will say there are things that Trader Joe's doesn't have.
Yeah, sure. Like why wouldn't you have? Rotissory chicken. If you, they, they, they, they
could be so powerful.
Someone DMV that works at Trader Joe's and
told me why they don't. Why? Because
a lot of their stuff is
like white labeled as
their own. Right. And for them to do
that like it wouldn't be up to their standards
like to ship out. They'd have to have like a local
rotissory chicken
warehouse or something or like farm. So why can
every other store do it? Well if you go to
Santa Monica I do the old bang bang. I get all my groceries at Trader
Joe's across the street. Get my rotissory chicken from
whole food. I'm not willing to go to two groceries
stores. I'm barely willing to go to one. I love grocery shopping. Oh, see, that's my least
favorite activity. I listen to our podcast. Wow. Our own podcast. It's soothing. Mostly because
I black out almost every episode, so I don't really know what we say until I re-listen to it. And I'm like,
damn. And I can't listen to our own podcast because I can't hear the sound of my own voice because
I sound like the nanny, Fran Dresher, who I love. It's just I don't love it coming out of my own now.
They used to watch her at 5 a.m. every day before school. You watch the nanny? Oh, yeah. I had no idea.
Yep. I like Fran Dresher.
Wow, I love Fran.
And I love her voice.
I just went, it's sounding like me.
It's another thing.
But I love Trader Joe's.
I still don't understand that reasoning.
I think it's stupid.
Just like get a chicken.
Print more money.
It's the same kind of thing.
Well, there's inflation.
Yeah, exactly.
But that would be even easier then with the chicken.
There's no kind of politics there.
It's just a chicken.
I think you'd be surprised about the politics involved
with the rotissory chicken economy,
structure. I'm sure I would be, but also just someone
get, please get a...
How many rotisserie chickens are created in a day? Can we look
that up? How many rotisserie chickens every day? Guess? Guess? Guess a number?
Guess? Millions. Guess a number? Guess a number? How many people are there in the world?
Guess a million? Three million. Rotissary chickens made every day?
I'm guessing 180 million. No, no, no. I'm guessing 70 million. No, no, no, no, no.
I'm guessing I'm guessing 17 million.
I have no gauge on it.
Can we?
Oh, I'll look it up.
I don't know if that's like a searchable.
I don't know, but and they also Trader Dozo doesn't have those mangoes that Whole Foods has, like yellow little mangoes.
300,000 chickens, okay.
Oh, that's just Costco.
Oh.
Yeah, so 300,000 chickens just for Costco.
Wow.
And so like if Costco needs 300,000 chickens a day, they sold 100,000 chickens a day.
they sold 100 million rotisserie chickens in a year.
Wow.
So I mean the rotissory chicken industry is booming.
It's like the podcast of grocery stores.
Everyone's doing it.
Trader Joe's,
why wouldn't you do it?
You could only make money.
That's the only thing that could happen to you.
Nothing bad could happen.
I promise you.
I am begging.
I am on my knees, Trader Joe's.
Please.
There's a cut.
Oh, Jesus.
Now we've opened a can of worms with the rotissory chicken industry.
Costco and Publix may be facing a rotissory chicken shortage.
The iconic item is hard to find right now for some shoppers.
What's your favorite way to eat a rotissary chicken?
In my car in the parking lot before I even leave?
I'll put it in a wrap.
Avocado, rotiss chicken.
No, here's what I do.
Tomato, mayo.
Here's what I do.
I eat the two wings in the car because they're so good hot and it doesn't taste the same when I get back to my house.
So I eat them and then all the grease gets on my steering wheel and it makes it look shiny and new.
and that's so good
and people look at me in my car
and they're like,
this guy is going ham
on this chicken.
Yeah.
And so I eat that
and then when I get home,
I think it's really good cold.
So I'll pull the strips off
with either a fork or my bare fingers
and I'll put it over
like a pre-mixed salad thing
and then I do a vinaigrette.
Or I just raw dog it.
I dip in barbecue sauce.
I prefer it cold.
There's a really good barbecue sauce
at Trader Joe's Saratja
barbecue combo. Thank you for letting us now. I feel like we could talk about
rotissory chicken forever but we got to move. We can just call it a day. We got to move. Yeah.
Is there anything else you want to add? No, I just wanted to say I'm watching the
ultimatum because you told me to. Oh yeah. Do you love it? I did two episodes last night. So at first
I was like this is the dumbest show on the planet. Let me show you how my mindset changed with the
ultimatum. Well, let's just say really quickly what the show's about. Yeah. It's basically kind of a
love is blind spin off because it's Nick Lachet.
and Vanessa Lachethei orchestrating the same kind of toxic situation.
And are you the one?
Yeah.
And Temptation Island.
Basically, there are these couples and one partner in the couple has given the other an ultimatum either marry me or move on.
And so these five couples go to this hotel.
I think it's in Austin.
It is an awesome.
And basically they have the opportunity to couple up with another person who has come to this hotel in Austin.
and have a three-week marriage with them
to see if they like the idea of marriage with another person,
maybe like marriage in general,
don't want to get married
or deciding to commit to their partner that they came with.
One person came...
That was a long-winded.
Well, one person comes and is like,
you either marry me or I move on.
And the other person's like,
I'm not ready for this reason.
Let me trial with someone else.
The ultimatum is like,
we leave here together or we leave here separately
and we're not together anymore.
But these people, some of them,
here's what was weird.
They're all like 24.
It is beyond.
Also, I think Nick Lachey is like fully a sadist.
And that is going back to math.
Your worships the devil?
Maskism is when you get off on like hurting yourself, on your own pain.
Sadism is when you get off on somebody else's pain.
And that is what Nick Lachet is doing.
Who is Nick Lichet?
Nick Lachet is the host of Love is blind and the ultimatum.
Who is, he is.
I don't honestly don't know.
He was married to Jessica Simpson.
He is, was in, he was married to Jessica Simpson.
I think he maybe just like had one song.
He was in a boy band 98 degrees.
98 degrees never heard of it.
What the shit.
But he is a state of it because he's getting off on other people's pain by putting them in these toxic environments and filming it.
His agents must go so hard in the paint for him to be a host of every single show.
I agree.
And having them in the room during the like first night when they were like coupling up or whatever,
that was so weird.
Having Nick and Vanessa in the room?
Yeah, what are they licensed therapists?
No, they're not.
Mediating this whole thing.
Anyways, so my opinion to start was like, we have strayed so far from the light where
it's like these people are in relationships.
Like the normal thing is just to like wait until you're both ready to get married.
Like it's a compromise thing.
But now we're just putting these people in situations where it's like here's, okay, so my whole opinion changed.
So at first I'm like, this is sad.
Like it makes me really sad like seeing people that like are pretty happy.
and then they're obviously going to become,
they're going to get a social following
and there's all these other factors that go.
That's why they're going on the show.
It's like they're getting paid probably.
There's a chance to win.
They're getting so much press
and they're getting media and they're getting social media followers
and like all this stuff.
And I'm like, that's tragic.
We've like lost the plot fully.
But then I'm like, I'll take.
Everybody, everybody in a relationship,
doesn't matter like who you're dating.
It doesn't matter how long you've been married.
but like if you take like somebody say say uh who's your like number one a one is like
David Beckham on the list no okay so if you got like a girl or like whatever and they're dating
for so long and then you you put someone in front of them and you're like do you maybe like want to
just explore like most people are going to be like yeah but it does it doesn't it doesn't I'm not saying
have sex I'm saying like to go like but you don't want to like live with that person forever you
want to like go back to your hard disagree oh well i mean that's what's happening to these people
they're like oh wait i figured out like in by episode two they're like i actually like i'm really
comfortable and like i don't want to start over that's what everybody that's the sentiment everyone
said is like i like agree we need to figure this out but like i don't want to start over it's like
exhausting starting over relationship we've been dating for three oh when i like someone it's
like they are the only person like i like everyone else is nothing to me yeah you know so i
wouldn't be interested if someone put somebody else in front of me.
I'd be like, no, I like it.
Oh, I'm trying to think of the, the positives.
If you are going on this show and you have already started with the ultimatum of marry me and move on, the answers move on.
The answers move on.
Well, the answer is, let's fake this and get a bunch of social media followers.
That is what it is.
And thank God they did because it's entertaining.
And that's all I can say.
Okay.
Well, I think, like, what I'm seeing from the, like, as I tried to, I did my best to see you.
It made me sad at hers.
Like that was my initial day.
I don't even feel bad for them
because it's like you're doomed
like from the start.
I think some of them have level heads.
Zay, I think.
Zay?
Zay and
Ray.
Her name is Ray.
Whoever's with that Madeline
who is horrible.
Like literally needs to be
removed. Colby and Madeline
need an evaluation.
Okay, well anyways.
But I like what I saw from the positive side.
Whoever, Randall,
Randall's level-headed.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
What I saw from like,
like, the positive side was like,
okay, a lot of these people did go on
and they're like, no,
confirmed, like,
I want to be with the person
that I've been with for a while.
So I was like,
oh yeah, that's kind of cool.
Right.
I think that that,
obviously like Netflix is just like,
we're going to make so much
fucking money from these losers.
Yeah.
And so like that's what it is at the end of the game.
It's a cash grab.
But, but like,
it was hard to watch.
It was hard to watch.
It was hard to watch.
The difference between this and love is blind is,
I think you can go on love is blind and be in an emotionally stable place and level-headed.
I don't think that is the case with this show because I think you're already in a pretty toxic place to want to go on this show to give the ultimatum.
I disagree just slightly because I think that...
You don't think you can have a level-head on love is blind?
No, I think you can't.
No, I'm disagreeing about this show.
I don't think like you're doomed to start.
I think that like if you had that conversation before, it's like, we're good.
And like, it's temptation is temptation.
Like, that's always there.
I think you're doomed to start because if you need to date another person to know you want to be with me,
that to me is a red flag.
I think there's more factors that go into it, but I understand what you're saying.
And I understand what you're saying.
Anyways, I got to go get a haircut from our boy, Dan, in less Hollywood.
So.
Connor and I have the same barber.
Yep.
And he has a barber.
And I need to go get some hair chopped off because I'm not going to, it's 94 degrees in the desert.
I can't hold all this.
All right.
Well, and I'll see you when I got back from Arizona.
Please pray for me.
And cheers to you.
Okay.
Cheers.
I've been putting this microphone in my mouth.
I think I need to have a chat with everybody afterwards.
I apologize today for some reason I've been pushing it.
I know.
Mine has been a little too close.
It's been against my mouth.
But as always, feel free to follow us on all social platforms at B&C, MAP, and subscribe,
Brooklyn Connor make a podcast and email us, of course.
I also want to say a new one.
Oh, okay.
And you guys don't mind if you're listening to audio only on Spotify or whatever.
Like throw us a rating.
I would love if it was a five.
I would too.
That's just really helpful.
And it's like two clicks.
It's at the top under the title.
That's a good, good, uh,
yeah,
because I'm noticing that our ratings are,
our slacking compared to other,
our friends ratings.
Oh.
Just number wise,
not the actual rating of five,
uh,
four point,
but like the number wise.
So if you don't mind like clicking that,
it's two clicks.
And then email us again.
Yeah.
Uh,
dear B and C at gmail.
We can't wait to hear from you,
whatever you want to tell us.
Yeah,
we can't wait to hear.
All right.
loving you all. See you later. See you next week.
Smooches.
