Bros & Shows - Angie K. is Fed Up With Lisa Barlow (RHOSLC Full Recap)
Episode Date: October 2, 2024What's up Bros?! We watched RHOSLC episode 2 and this season is off to a great start! In this episode, we're still dealing with the fallout from Whitney at the Besos party. Bronwyn seems to be team Li...sa and says some disparaging things in the car with Heather and LB. But later... has a similar (yet different) conversation with Whitney and then a third conversation with Angie K. where she actually says some things against Lisa. It seems as though Bronwyn came in with a game plan and she is moving through the group setting herself up. Britani is a full blown wild card. She has issues with her children as she tries to navigate her relationship with Jared Osmond. Angie and Lisa are on the outs because LB wants an apology from Angie, but Angie is fed up with bending the knee to Lisa. We may finally have a season where someone stands up to Lisa and doesn't give in. Things escalate after the ropes course trip and Britani makes a bizarre toast. Mary (who is giving more this season than she ever has) does not care for Britani and makes it known. Bronwyn jumps on to add more and says Britani needs to think about her words before speaking. Heather says Bronwyn could do the same, but the entire group comes to her defense. Is this the Jen Shah affect all over again? Does the wealth and glamour of Bronwyn's life make her the cool new rich kid in town? Want more content from the Bros? I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brav Bros.
Good evening, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros.
your favorite podcast from the bros for everybody for whoever wants to listen i am your co-host steel russell joined
as always by the one and only snowflake mcleat what's up dude i like that one
you're getting yeah you're getting a little creative with those uh feeling good i'm just loving
the bravo sphere right now we've got so much going on and everything is good and i'm saying that
now because i know that it could really turn in the next week but right now everything is really good
everything's cool right now.
I don't know.
Here's the thing.
We got a lot of shows coming back.
Ross Lick, obviously, we're covering that on this episode.
We've got Roney to cover this week, which I'm super excited for that, airs tomorrow.
And then we've got Potomac shortly thereafter.
We've got a full docket.
We're super-duper excited.
Things are going well.
Wait. Roney airs tonight, by the way.
When this comes out, Rony airs tonight.
Yeah, I don't want to confuse anybody out there.
yeah sorry rony airs tonight because this is we're recording this the date we're talking like
this is time travel right now that's what we always do yeah how about that yeah who knew but
and then potomac comes on the eighth i believe so a week from tomorrow no that's sunday night
that's the eighth no monday it's no it's sunday night what's sunday potomit comes back sunday night
what day is that the sixth oh okay well tomics and sunday night do you guys get it we're good at
calendars and time here uh so like we were saying there's a lot of good shit on right now and i agree
with you i hope everything trends in this same direction because things are looking up we've been
waiting for this lull to be over it is finally i can declare it over today because we've got two
housewife shows on three housewife shows on
on with a fourth on the way stoked hope it goes well potomac i'm rooting for you please don't let me down
i don't have my hopes but god please be decent but as i said we're here to talk about rossick
and after two episodes dude after a stellar season last year after an off season of both
of us speculating on how could they recapture the magic after that are they going to be able to
do it what are your thoughts so far loving it absolutely loving it i watched this because
I was pretty much home most of the weekend, aside from going off the game yesterday.
I watched this episode three times.
Actually, four.
If you count the last one, when I just kind of skipped through for the things that I didn't
quite remember.
I don't know how I didn't remember them because I've watched it three times.
I also watched OC a couple times, too.
But this is enjoyable.
This is a show now where people are over and you're like, oh, have you seen the new Salt Lake?
You need to watch it.
I'm going to put it on for you right now, which just has a different type of energy.
And it's really just they struck gold.
and let's face it, the women are delivering.
Mary Cosby is delivering.
She is showing up to work and she is making sure she earns that paycheck.
I don't know if it's going to last, maybe wishful thinking,
but she's coming on strong already and she is unapologetically married.
And I think it's helping.
There's such a good balance with all these other people.
I distinctly remember last week you saying,
you're going to eat those words about Mary Cosby and you're already on the Mary train.
I don't remember last week.
My brain doesn't work that way.
I go week to week, baby.
Yeah, I go week to week.
Wipe clean.
Next week, here we go.
I agree with you.
I think that everybody has, they're bringing their lunch pail.
They're not afraid to get into it this season.
You never heard that term?
I don't know.
Bring your lunch pail and go to work.
I don't know why,
but I just imagine them all showing up at like an oil refinery.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, see, you got it.
Yes, exactly.
So they're all bringing their lunch pail.
They're all doing their jobs.
Like you said, the newbies are coming in.
I love Bronwyn for what she brings.
I don't know if I like Bronwyn, but I love her husband.
I'll tell you that much.
We don't know Miley, Miley, Maly.
Maly. We don't really know her yet, except she likes to say Siss a lot.
She says Siss a lot.
And the other thing about Maly is Angie K was on Watch What Happens Live.
And she was talking about the newbies.
And it was pretty much just the game show of like, who would you ax or who do you not like need to see?
next season and she said probably just mainly because she had a really hard time blending in
with the crew and really like speaking up at all she's just too nice so i don't think we're going to
get much from her this that is a shortcoming for a lot of newbies it's tough that it's a tough
crew in this crew in particular is tough why are you giggling uh no i the one thing that she did this
episode always makes me laugh are you serious you know what that reminds me of what remember the hot
chick with Rob Schneider.
Oh, yeah.
Are you serious?
Are you serious?
This comes into my head.
But, okay, so maybe we will be on the lookout for a potential flop.
But Brittany, Brittany, Brittany's bringing it.
She's, you know, in her own way.
She's unhinged.
She's unhinged, but she's not mean, and she's catching a lot of shit right out of the
gate.
It's very strange.
I'm, but again, great, because now we have one newbie who's taking the approach of
the classic housewife right very swanky house rich husband live in the high life high fashion this
that the other then you've got brittany who is polar opposite she's dating one of the osmans she has
broken up with them 16 times she doesn't have a relationship with her kids i don't really know
what she does like she's so up and down and all over the place where on the other side you have
this very put together quote unquote housewife so seeing these two beef already
normally I wouldn't be there for it normally like all right guys I get get get into it a little
bit but it seems so genuine that I'm into it I think it's weird it's weird because
Bronwyn is almost doing it from a position of power I don't know how she yeah into the
crew so quickly the fact that she was able to and if I'm going to nitpick because I know
it's going to drive you crazy while you're note taking oh yeah are they going to do this all
season where we're in the present day and then they're like hey this happened yesterday this
happened two days ago are we going to jump back and forth like i like it but i could see it growing
on or not growing on me i could see it growing wearing on me for sure but um yeah i don't know how
like a brahman was just able to like merge into the group and now she's a figurehead at this
i have i have a theory about that that i want to say i know she was like already friends with lisa
and stuff but that's not my theory i'm going to save it when it's pertinent okay i don't want to get
into it yet but I have a I think it's you'll agree with me on this theory um I'll save it for a
little bit later but I agree that she has somehow worked her way into the group and not
newbie status like she knows to carry more weight and we'll get into it in a little bit but
why don't we jump into the episodes we're not rambling too long and uh I thought that's what this
episode was just rambling we're just rambling rambling with the bruce
It's our new
We just sing old songs
Yep
That's what we do
But no
Let's get into the episode
And I've
I don't know why this show in particular
I do a lot of initials
So we got LB and B Dub
Okay
Lisa Barlow and
Bronwyn and they start the episode out
There's recapping
The Bezos dinner
Which I keep wanting to say Bezos now
It's stuck in my head
So the Jeff Bezos dinner
And
We get a call from Angie
Angie wants a one-on-one with LB.
Things are disjointed amongst the OG cast members.
There's a lot of, I don't really know who's on whose team.
Whitney obviously had her big blowout at the dinner table.
That's what this episode is more or less about,
is picking up the pieces and understanding what the fucks happen between everybody.
But bottom line, Angie wants to sit down with Lisa and we'll see where that goes.
But we get a quick one-off of Mary and her son.
This is going to be a very interesting thing to watch throughout the season.
Because if you don't remember, not you, but everybody, if we don't remember,
when people went down a rabbit hole on her son's Instagram page,
he posts a lot of weird shit, drugs, weed, like, and I'm not,
that's not a baseless claim.
I've seen it.
I've seen the pictures on a social media platform.
Yep.
Him and his wife, wife, they were married in secret, living under the same roof as Mary
Cosby and the other side of the house.
I'm not sure how this dynamic works.
I am so intrigued by this.
And at the same time, it's one of those things that we see where I'm like, I don't think
we should watch this.
Really?
You don't think that we should have the insight into that?
I don't know, dude.
There's something about the whole.
You know, rule number one, leave the kids out of it.
I'm not roasting the kid.
Oh, he's not a kid.
That's a good point.
Yeah.
He's a little older.
And I'm not roasting him.
I, yeah, no, I agree with you.
There's definitely something weird going on there.
There's a weird dynamic.
This is what we're going to get with Mary being full time.
We're going to have those family moments.
And there's going to be a few more.
And I guarantee you we're going to be scratching our head at the end of every single one of them.
What the fuck just happened?
Because it's almost like they speak a different language.
Yes.
of them talking together. They're talking like unpacking what Whitney was doing and they're
unpacking what Brittany was talking about calling Mary poor, which means you're ungrateful to God.
Yeah, exactly. I don't, I don't understand how that means. Like, I don't understand any of that.
But that's the thing that I took away from this is I actually do think that Brittany was calling Mary poor.
She was saying, oh yeah, because you had five sisters and brothers, you must have grown up poor.
I don't know how it was because of the way that.
Mary said it. She said there was never
enough to go around.
That is what Mary said.
If you hear that, I had five brothers and sisters
and there wasn't enough to go. No, that's
what she said. They showed it in the episode.
There wasn't anybody there. No.
She said that. We had that. Dude, did
you not watch? He said it inter-confessional,
yes, but what you did in the Britney was not
that. Shooter.
Go back and watch the episode.
They literally, I didn't use your legal name.
You do it sometimes.
Yeah, but they don't know that name.
Careful.
I'm going to cut that out.
They're not going to know it now.
They do.
The go back.
I'm not trying to like gas light you here.
Like genuinely,
I didn't catch it either.
And I don't know if they left it out of last week's episode and decided to put it in on this one.
But they showed a clip of that moment.
And Mary says to Brittany when they're all sitting on the couch at the party.
She says there were five or six of us and there was never enough to go around.
That's when Brittany goes.
I think the original clip, all she said was I had five or six or I had.
five siblings and then that was it and then Brittany was saying okay so maybe yeah you know what I don't
like that though and I've been noticing that I don't either they do that when I watch things like I'll
watch it on Bravo then I'll watch it on peacock peacock will have a completely different edit they'll
throw a couple more things in there there's bonus scenes and then I'll watch the same episode on
peacock two days later and there's things missing I don't know what's going on I don't either I don't either
they think they do it so that we all have differing opinions so that we all always fight
maybe that's what it is they want to yeah they want to keep us fighting they want to keep us
fighting but yes i will say she did say there was never enough to go around which
implies that you were poor so or not poor but you know i'm saying the poor is like obviously
it's a poor choice of words it's a poor choice of words but from what i've gathered from
brittany i don't think she was trying to be salacious right there i think she was just trying
to relate to her mary took that as ungodly for literally ungodly
probably not like oh hyperbole like literally it's a disgrace to god that you called me mary cosby
poor god would never let me be poor well she arguably thinks that she's god so in her church
as the figurehead you can argue she is god to her her flock if you will so where are we that's
we are still with mary and her son in like a fucking pre-scene this isn't even a scene yet but it was
just the last thing i'm going to say is when he walks into the kitchen
And she's like, oh, you got the munchies?
I'm like, oh, so he's just like ripping joints around the house, huh?
Like, he's just blazing up.
And you're like, oh, munchies from a boy, here you go.
And he's going to leave the house eventually, but not now.
You can't even knows what munchies means.
She just like heard people say it before.
She said, oh, the munchies, it's fun.
You're hungry.
He walked in stoned one time and said, I got the munchies.
And she goes, oh, he must be hungy.
Oh, you hungry.
You're a hungry boy.
He got the munchies.
Boy.
When she finds out she's going to be blown away.
But anyway, let's keep going.
We get back with LB and B-dub, Lisa Barlow and Bronwyn, and they pick up Heather.
Solid drive-thru, Wendy's, solid orders all around.
Bravo, everybody.
Yep, that was a solid move.
Love that.
But Lisa's still pissed off about Whitney and the podcast comments, and she's frustrated
at Angie for crossing a line and telling Whitney.
Now, that's what I want to ask.
Do you think, because Angie goes on to claim that she was doing this and telling Whitney,
so that Whitney would apologize.
Do you think that there was malicious intent from Angie Kay
by bringing this up to Whitney?
I'm not sure because I'm not really sure
what kind of Angie Kay we're going to get this season.
I don't know.
If you asked me this a year ago,
I would say that she is like a deer caught in the headlights
that has no idea what's going on.
And she truly did think that maybe Whitney would apologize
if she knew what Lisa was actually mad about
or what she was going to be mad about
and she was going to bring it up on the first episode
at the Jeff Bezos party
like all of those things coming together
yes last year I would have said that but now
we saw towards the end of last year
Angie's starting to play the game a little bit better
and part of playing the game is getting
people to have those conversations and making
sure that people have I don't want to say
all of the information but at least
enough of the information that can be
left up to interpretation
so I cite some drama
yeah Angie can put like a little bit of stank on it
and say that at least is talking shit
and then get Whitney all riled up
and then Whitney goes into it
instead of going into it
to apologize specifically for what she said
she's going into it under the assumption
that Lisa is talking shit
because of how Angie said it. But then when it
gets back to Angie, Angie can just say no.
I just let her know so that she understood like what
you were actually mad about. I was just being a good friend.
So she apologized to you. Yeah.
And maybe I look, maybe I'm giving Angie too much
credit. I do like her right now.
She is center snowflake.
Context clue. I was about to say context
clues points to she knows what she's doing this season because she's awkwardly standing in center
stage on the i don't know i laugh at it every time the title screen she literally dude she looks
like ricky bobby i don't know what to do with my hands she looks physically uncomfortable
standing there i love it she was uncomfortable on watch what happens live too like you could tell
sean was sitting front row we talked about sean's muscles way too much it was very weird lance bass
was there and Angie just didn't know like what was going on now to be fair it is a little unfair when
you have somebody like Lance on because when they zoom people in they're all asking Lance questions
about Insing are they going to do a reunion tour are they going to do this or that and it's like
what would you do I would ask you I will blame them I'm just saying she's in a tough position
because the only question that she was asked was like do you regret the things that you said because
they were a little salacious and she's like uh no I don't think so no
I think I'm fine.
Like, it's okay.
Hey, Lance, what's up with Insync?
Yeah.
Which, again, I think we all really want to know, like, what's going on sync?
Because if you think that we won't be front road at N-Zink concert, you are incorrect.
We will be there.
He said they're in talks.
Okay.
That's good.
Good to know.
Good to know.
Keep that on the, add that to the old schedule.
Just can't have Justin Timberlake driving there.
Yep.
Hey.
Hey.
I'll never understand celebrities doing that.
Get a driver.
You have all the money in the world.
But anyway.
Heather gets picked up in the car
and the only thing to know
is she is not
even though she went in on Whitney
again they have like that
I know their cousins but it's more of a sisterly
relationship where it's like yeah she just
fucking does this shit she pisses me off
but like I think we ganged up on her a little bit
which they did like you go back and watch that scene
did Whitney help herself absolutely not
she did herself no favors
but there was a gang up because now you just got people
yelling you know Meredith at the end of the table
like oh yeah and you did this too
you bitch like whoa whoa whoa this started off small it's just got a lot bigger with a lot more people
but anyhow we uh we get to meredith and set and
i can't believe him to say this oh boy cannot believe i'm going to say this i have learned
to love the scenes with these two one-on-one which i never thought i would say after the bathtub
shit where you know she's got her her toes in his taint and he's like ooh-hoo like i can
Yeah, that's where we started.
But now we've gotten here.
And you know what?
Say what you want about Meredith.
Say what you want about Seth.
They love each other.
They do.
And they're nice to see together.
They're doing like a cooking class together.
It's cute.
Making Shakshuka, which is delicious.
I love to make a little Shokshuka together.
By the way, that's like the fourth time that we've seen Shokhuka on a housewife show in like the last year.
Because didn't Aaron make this last year when she was up in the Hamptons and
aroni season one.
Oh,
yeah, after the oyster debacle.
And then there was another one that I can't remember.
Or the caviar debacle, sorry.
Yeah.
Now I'm like,
I want some shock.
There was,
I want some shock shuka too,
but it did be,
it was one of those like trendy,
because I follow nothing but like food accounts.
It's like food,
Bravo sports is like my entire feed.
Shokshuka was a trendy dish for a while.
Like a lot of people were doing Shokshuka stuff,
which again,
delicious, great,
great meal.
Oh yeah.
They make a little Shokshuka.
We find out that she's going to get Bot Mitzvud,
which Seth has a,
very genuinely touching moment where he's so taken aback and so proud and so happy.
And I was like, wow, this is really nice.
It was on the heels of him leaning in to listen to or chew and saying, are you having
culinary sex?
Look, I've learned that they're just going to say things like that.
You know, he ends it with, I can't wait to talk dirty to in Hebrew.
But I've gotten to the point now where I'm just like, oh, these wacky kids with their sex jokes.
I have no problems with them.
Honestly, they're fine.
I actually enjoy those scenes now because they're just so goofy and funny.
It doesn't bother me anymore.
Like once you get over the comments that they're going to make
or some toes in a taint here and there,
you can get over all that.
It's just cute.
It's fun.
Yeah, you get a toe in the taint every now and then.
But hey, it's no big deal.
You've got to learn to roll with it.
Roll with the toes, boys.
But anyway, move on.
And we do get the sit down between Angie and Lisa Barlow.
It's awkward out of the gate.
And they start to get.
into a little bit and again lisa shares i'm pissed at you because you shared my shit with whitney
we have a relationship where i thought i could tell you stuff blah blah blah angie's saying that
you guys ganged up on her i felt bad for whitney and i just brought it up so that she would
apologize to you that was that was angie's stance now this whole thing this whole back and forth
can be chalked up to once again and it pisses me off that it always goes this direction
But it's very much, and Angie says it herself, Lisa's a very, what have you done for me lately
kind of person.
And she always has been and always will be.
But what bothers me is that when people close to her call is out, her immediate go-to is
that's just me.
I'm Lisa Barlow.
I said it last week.
You can't be an asshole and then just say, if you don't like it, you don't like me.
It's like, well, you are then accepting the fact that you're not a nice person some of the
time or a lot of the time.
and you're leaning on the caveat of I'm just being Lisa Barlow.
You can't look at this situation objectively and be like, oh, okay, I see what you're
saying.
A lot of the times you have to bend the need to me.
I very rarely will hear reason into where I'm wrong because I'm never wrong.
And when I am wrong, I'm just Lisa Barlow, baby.
You can't come at me.
I'm just being myself.
It's like that's not an excuse.
Yeah, no, it's not an excuse.
And she always lays on the, well, I, you know, I'm very demonstrative when I talk.
I talk really loud.
My hands are going everywhere.
So it seems like I'm saying mean things.
It's like, no, you're saying mean things while you're doing all of that.
Sometimes it's genuine, like later when she's talking to Brahman, when she's talking really
loud and Brahman says stop yelling.
And she's like, no, this is just the way I talk.
That's normal because she does talk like.
But she goes on the side of, yeah, you know, I'm throwing my hands up in the air.
So it makes it look like I'm being an asshole.
But I'm really not.
I'm just trying to understand it.
I'm just saying things.
And everything I'm saying is true.
And it's like, okay, well, you know.
Just because it's being a bit of an asshole.
You're not listening.
She never listens to the other person, any argument.
She just doesn't listen.
And we said this last year.
I think it was at what Whitney's jewelry when they did the moment of silence.
And she was arguing with Monica.
Is that what was going on?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Where she just kept going and going.
And you can see Monica was trying to understand and like asking her questions.
And she just wasn't answering.
She's just like completely in her own little world.
She's just waiting for her next opportunity to keep talking, which we call out every
single time it happens. And it doesn't, I want to say it gets her in hot water, but it doesn't.
No, because she's Lisa Barlow.
Your stands that you're in hot water and she doesn't.
Because she's never wrong. And it's laid out so perfectly by Lisa herself. And she still doesn't
understand it where she says, you know, I'm getting really tired of people saying like, oh,
you have good sides. Like, why do people say that? Angie says, why do you think people say that?
And she goes, because it's being perpetuated by people like you.
It's like, no, Lisa.
Multiple people within your close-knit group have said the same exact thing about you.
You just said it yourself.
And instead of being like, wow, multiple parties have commented on my behavior and how I treat people and how I don't listen and how it's all about me.
Multiple people have done this.
What am I going to do about it?
I'm going to spin it because it's all about me and say, all of you assholes are perpetuating this rumor about me.
That's why this is happening.
That's why everyone's talking about it because you won't stop talking about.
It's like, no, it's because you're doing it.
People are discussing it.
And when it's brought to your attention, what do you do?
You say, thanks for the drink, Angie.
I'm getting the fuck out of here.
Maybe we can continue this conversation at some point on my terms.
And you listen to me and what I have to say.
And then you shake my hand, kiss my ass, and tell me I'm the best.
Bye-bye now.
Yeah, and I don't think any of this ever actually gets resolved either, just based off
of current events and what's going on comments and tweets and comments and tweets and it looks like
Lisa and Meredith are ganging up on Angie at this point so look if Angie wants to go this approach
we know what you can do and it's very easy if you just want things to go away you just have
to grovel to Lisa you just have to apologize and then as soon as she makes a joke you're good
she's done like we've seen so many different housewives somebody like a heather dobro who doesn't
want to talk about it and she'll just save face and just say look we're done talking about this but
she doesn't actually forgive you Lisa's not like that
If you apologize and make her feel like she's the one who you have to look up to,
everything's fine.
She forgets about it.
It's done.
It's over with your good.
But if Angie wants to take the approach of, no, I'm going to hold you accountable for
the things that you're doing.
And I'm not backing down from this.
It's going to be a long season.
But that's going to earn you a center snowflake.
Because you are the only one.
Yeah, very awkward center soap like.
But because you're not going to back down because we've seen it time and time again.
And it's because Lisa is so unrelenting that people find it like, fuck it.
You're right.
I love you.
You're amazing.
Let's just drop this and move on.
Because like you said, and this is, I think, the root of it all.
There is, believe it or not, there is not malicious intent behind the things that Lisa says and does.
How about that?
Because in her mind, in her bubble in the Barlow universe, she's correct and right about everything.
She doesn't do anything wrong.
So all this is breaking down in front of her, she's like, well, it's clear your problem because it's not my problem because I'm perfect.
And if you don't think that I am and if you don't like me or how I treat you, you just don't like me because that's who I am.
I'm Lisa Barlow.
It's like, this again is not an excuse.
But anyway, I mean, I can talk about it for a while.
At the end of the day, though, she's fucking fantastic for TV.
Like we love Lisa Barlow.
It's just this is what you get from her.
Yeah, she's just a personality unlike anybody else.
Yeah.
Yeah, really, truly.
And that's why she's great.
And that's also why she's frustrating.

We get to Bronwyn and Todd, and I just wrote,
cool sweater, dad.
I love Todd.
Look, I'm obsessed with Todd.
Todd's a great dude.
He was what?
He was the CEO of Palm Pilot.
Remember those?
Palm Pilot, which, you know, a lot of people that are listening here will know what we're talking about because I like to think we're all of the same generation here.
But I could see a lot of people like a little younger than us being like, who the fuck is that?
It predates.
It predates the Blackberry.
It was sick.
It was a touchscreen.
It had a little pen.
It was awesome.
And he just seems like a really interesting character.
He, what?
He ran with a tort.
in London in 2014 for the Olympics.
Like, why?
What a subtle drop there, by the way?
Just a little drop.
Like, oh, I've got these, like, this art and, like, little pottery things from all over
the world that I'm really obsessed with and I got to find a place for them.
He matches with Bromwood so well.
And it's great.
Because he's not home.
Yeah.
Ever.
He's in New York because he runs a hedge fund now.
And that's the other thing that I must, must bring up, especially because Cody, the
interior design is coming over wealth does not mean that you have style i was blown away by this
house that house is tacky as shit it's ugly as hell the furniture doesn't make sense i did not oh no
there's no way you like that house no i i understand the house it's all like high art no i understand
here's the difference okay here's the difference when you want to have there's levels where it's like
there's levels where it works and it looks really tacky but once it's actually like full art like
she didn't go full Mary Cosby.
Mary Cosby is that, like, in between, like, what the fuck is going on here?
Mary Cosby's a doctor Sue's house.
It's a terrifying horror house.
Drummond stuff is, I think, because it's not all put together, it'll probably look nice
at the end of the day.
You're a fucking, I would know.
Here's the difference, okay?
I'm going to break it down to you and a good, good, I think you actually appreciate this,
okay?
Hey, I grew up poor too, pal.
That has nothing to do with anything.
Here's the thing, okay?
a good example of the wacky decor of a wealthy person is March on on Jersey her house is
wacky as shit there's cheetah print there's crazy furniture there's crazy no no room matches
another room it works her style works it works the house pull she pulls that house off
March yes no just because you just because your opinion you seem to think you're like the
peak of high fashion pal ask around like that's
style. That is how you put together
like a wacky stop. Just like
listen to it. We have to put a poll out
for this. I would love to. Who's got
a better house, Marge or Bronwyn? Because
Bronwyn's house is hideous. That's hideous.
It's not just like you can, that's my
whole point. It's just because you can afford
high art, like super expensive
things. I would much rather see
the artifacts that Todd brought back
from fucking China and Vietnam. That
sounds interesting. I don't want to see a stack of
chairs with LED lights in it
and fucking like neon where it's like there's like
three pieces of these in the world. It's like, well, it's fucking chairs, dude. It's not
an attractive piece. Point being, whether you agree with the Marge's thing or not is irrelevant
to me, Brahman's house is atrocious. It's an ugly house. I didn't think, I thought when you brought
up Marge's house, you were going to say, it's like Marge's house where it just doesn't make any
fucking sense. And then you threw a full curveball at me and said, but it works and it's great.
And I'm like, what are you talking about? I'll do it right now while we're, I think, look,
Marge's house is wacky. I like it. I've always enjoyed Marge's house. I'm
going to put a poll up while we're doing this so that we can answer it at the end of the
episode all right all right the polls out so we will see we'll let the people speak all right
then we'll that will settle this once and for all but anyway during this scene we get to learn
more about her her daughter gwen a little bit more and she had her when she was 19 and it is
not todd's daughter it's from her first i don't even know if they were married but whatever she had
her when she was 19 so they're super deep proposed here's my issue with broadwin i have a couple
issues with problem. I think she's great for the show.
A few issues that I'm going to report along the way. Issue number
one.
Trying to talk like the cool kids.
It's going to bother me. She says
I'm giving off a suss vibe. I'm like,
you don't need to say that word. That doesn't
work. And then later, she says,
you're wild A.F.
Just say as fuck. Or just don't
just say you're wild. That I'm not going to
that's going to bother me. Is it?
Yeah. You're such an old man.
I am. I really, truly
am i don't need to hear suss or a f you know that's that's for the cool kids that's look it's okay i mean
i'm not going to tell you how to feel thanks man i'm going to let you go thanks dude i feel uh condescending
tones kind of cream oh that sounds condescending too well the no was definitely
constant well let's get to heather and whitney at the gem store uh which i know you frequent
these places a lot i do no i know you do you're big gemstone guy they're all about that energy
I actually have gems in my walls after I saw Shannon do it.
I was like, I got to just break down my walls and put some gems in there.
Did you replace the holes or just open holes with rocks in them?
Open holes of rocks.
I feel like that gives a better energy flow.
Yeah.
Yeah, it comes out better.
It gets a gem flow through drywall.
It just doesn't work.
Gems don't go through drywall.
Yeah, that's everybody knows that.
But Whitney's talking about, you know, this is a total gang up.
And Heather says, look, it's not a gang up.
It was, look, yes, we came on.
strong, but it's a very valid point from how it's like, look, this is all from experience.
Everyone's speaking from an experience that they've had with you.
Yeah, it could have been approached better.
We didn't need Meredith yelling from the end of the table.
Everyone was jumping in to add their two cents.
I get that.
But at the same time, these are actual experiences that people have lived, Whitney.
To your point all the time, because she makes the point right now, it's my feelings.
these are my feelings it's like okay to your argument then whitney this is their experience it's
their experience so if you want to play that game two can play that game i'm getting really
tired of this whole narrative of because i'm on my healing journey my healing journey sorry
and heather calls it out in this scene as well just i'm on my healing journey so these are my
feelings if you don't accept me or my feelings that's a you problem it's like no just because
you're on a healing journey doesn't mean you don't have to care about other people's feelings
and how they respond to and how you treat other people. Yeah. Yeah. And I really like this right now.
This season is one of the better Whitney Heather Dynamics. I like this one too. Yeah.
It's almost like they both know what they're going to get from each other. Heather has come to
terms with the fact that Whitney is going to do crazy Whitney shit that isn't going to make sense that
she's not going to agree with. They're going to have their issues with each other. They're going
to yell at each other. But they can still have the one-on-ones, which is better
than it was last year it's better than it was the year before so now we're almost full circle at this
point and we need a relationship like this on a show like that because right now the way that the
cards are being laid out it seems like it's going to be Whitney for the most part against a lot of
other people now Brittany takes a little bit of the heat later for her own shit but it's for the most
part it's going to be Whitney against everybody so if you have somebody like angie who's tired
of other things who maybe has issues with Lisa Meredith later in the season you need a
Heather that can bounce between. And that's something that Heather does really well. And that's
what she's always done really well, is getting along with everybody. She's been the focal point
of a lot of issues, a lot of arguments in the last couple of years. But when she's at her best,
it's when she's able to bounce between the groups and have realistic conversations, logical
conversations with people one-on-one that we don't get in those blow-up scenes. The first episode
was incredible. Everybody yelling at Whitney, edited or not, it was incredible. It was so much fun to watch
because her healing journey is over.
She has completed her healing journey,
and this is what she's doing.
And everybody's just going to jump down her throat.
Funny.
Love that.
But we still do want to understand
where the hell she's coming from.
And for Whitney specifically,
it takes her so long to spit it out.
I don't know what you're saying,
lady.
She talks in circles, too.
She doesn't say anything.
I don't know what you're trying to say.
And if you give her a half an hour,
she'll eventually come to a conclusion.
Maybe.
And then we understand.
Yeah, maybe.
Heather can point her in the right direction
at least to the point where
okay now I at least get
I don't agree with what you're saying
but I at least get where you're coming from
you need to apologize for the podcast
because you said that Lisa Barlow is a villain
like yeah that's
you don't say that about other people
unless you want to get that smoke
you want the smoke the smoke
if you want the smoke that go up against her
but you can't go up against her
because Whitney can't stand up against anybody
because she thinks that she won
she thinks that she got her feelings out
She thinks that she's righteous at all the things that she's saying,
but she's not because we don't even know what you're saying.
She thinks she wins way before an argument's even been presented.
It's like, this is how I feel, and you don't appreciate my feelings,
and I don't have time for you.
It's like, we haven't heard the response yet,
and you don't even know what you're fighting about
because you think that they're trying to weaponize your trauma.
If I hear that one more, if I hear more, we'll get there.
but she's planning a trip to
Trixie's bar.
We met Trixie last year at the Trixie Motel
out in Nevada, right?
Palm Springs.
Where the fuck was that?
No, yeah, it's down on Palm Springs.
Out of Palm Springs.
That's where we met Trixie last year
and they have a drag show in Milwaukee
that she wants to take all the group to.
So here's where it gets a little confusing
because during that car ride earlier
with LB, B, Dub, and Heather,
they started talking about Whitney a little bit.
And in this conversation, Bronwyn literally says, I was laughing in her face, the things that she was saying, like, she doesn't have nice things to say about Whitney.
We find out Bronwyn and Whitney had a little car ride together as well.
And Whitney loves Bronwyn.
I was like, ooh, I like this move from the newbie.
Yeah.
It goes even further later, and we'll get to Angie Kay's part in it.
But I like that move at the same time, you're.
drawing lines with a lot of factions right so it's a dangerous game i like the way that she did it though
because a lot of the material a lot of what she said was the exact same there's little things at
the end that makes whitney think oh if this is what you're talking about we had that same
conversation she said the same thing to me but she didn't it's a little different where
she's sitting with heather and lisa talking about it talking about how she was
and holding tears back from her laughter right in Whitney's face.
But when she's talking to Whitney about it, it's a little more positive.
It's a little funnier.
Like, yes, I was laughing because it was incredible.
It was iconic.
Make Whitney feel good.
But she said basically the exact same thing, just a little different at the end.
Completely different connotations, depending on who you're going to be with.
And the fact that Heather even picked that up at first was like, okay, interesting, Heather.
She's all you're going to sit back and pay attention to something like that.
when you're one of the people that was yelling at Whitney.
The fact that you're able to now sit here a couple days later and say,
look, that's Whitney, that's my cousin,
I'm going to be able to get through with whatever's going on,
and that's just how she is and we'll figure it out and I'll have to sit down with her.
But Bronwyn coming in, again, she has ingratiated herself with the whole crew pretty quickly,
but Heather's still going to treat her like a newbie.
She is a newbie.
She doesn't know anybody there just because Brittany's getting all the,
everybody yelling at her because we don't know you, Brittany.
Nobody knows you.
So it'll just stand up and make a toast for.
the boyfriends that we didn't even hear about in the first lady we heard oh dude you're gonna be
anti-britney in that oh yeah absolutely uh we'll we'll wait until we get there but still bramwin is new
so yeah you got to be careful and heather's being careful right now she's just taking some notes
and yeah i love how it all unfolded at that at that table after they do the uh what the hell was that
skywalk what do we call that antich skywalker yeah aniken skywalker yep annaic skywalker ropes course
down on Skywalker Ranch.
That's exactly what it was.
But no, I just love the dynamics of everything.
Everybody's working in their own way and it's meshing together so nicely because what's our
biggest complaint?
When things go on for way too long, one storyline goes on for way too long and we're tired
of hearing about it, there's like 50 different things right now.
If you got bored with one thing, there's another conversation across the table and
they're arguing about something else.
It's great.
Do you know why it's so great for me?
like what I enjoy about the drama right now.
It's not that fucking deep.
It's not like end of the world shit.
It's just petty stuff.
Like Meredith is still bitching about the bath bombs.
Like she cannot get over the fucking bath bomb.
She's so stuck on it.
I think she just doesn't like Whitney at the end of the day.
I think no matter what Whitney does,
she's going to be like anti- Whitney.
I think that's fair to say.
Yeah.
And I think that when you look across the cast right now as to what they're fighting about,
I'm like, none of this is end of the world stuff, but you're bringing enough in the arguments with each other.
You're pissing each other off enough.
But at the end of the day, I'm not worried that a husband's going to leave somebody or a business is going to get tanked.
And I don't want to have to worry about real world ramifications.
I want to worry about whether or not Meredith and Whitney are going to do a collab on a bath bomb at some point.
That's funny to me.
I want to worry or wonder about, is Bronwyn going to work her way up to the top by backdealing everybody?
but seemingly being cool with everybody.
Like this stuff is fun for me,
and it's been so dark that I think Roslick,
when it's on, is so good at that.
Because last season we saw some real shit with the Vanty's stuff.
I forget the reality Vanty's stuff,
but also, again, like that wasn't that dark.
It was just dark because somebody had been infiltrating your group
for an extended period of time.
You had no idea.
Yeah, that's fucking shady and weird.
But they were just,
talking shit about you guys on social media like again that's not i don't know there's something
that this show does when there's real shit going on let's say the monica stuff was real shit but
even so there was enough little stuff that's just trivial funny shit to me that this show does a
good job with and i feel like this season is all encompassing with that where there's no dark stuff
yet at least and we get to focus on funny stuff i like that that's but let's keep going we get
heather and brittany a pickleball and this is where i kind of fell in love with brittany
but there's something about her that's just like,
what the fuck are you doing here in a funny way?
Like, you don't belong here.
And again, I'm glad you're here.
But as they're talking, you know,
they're talking about the Jared update.
And the fact that these two met because her ex-husband
was dating his ex-fiancee is fucking hysterical to me.
They've broken up 16 times.
The fact that he's in Osmond,
like Donnie Osmond's fucking son is hysterical to me.
There's so many different things with her life that are fascinating,
but she's so aloof where she's like,
Heather's giving her advice,
and she's like,
maybe you're right.
She's like talking about the Mormon church.
She's like,
that sounds like the patriarch.
She's like,
fuck,
maybe you're right.
It's like she's psychoanalyzing her in real time
whilst playing pickleball and everything she's saying,
Brittany's like,
oh,
I never thought of that.
Like,
damn, you might be right.
I don't think he's thought of anything, honestly.
No, she's just like, oh, wow.
She just seems like somebody who's just going through life, doing things,
and not questioning whether they're normal.
And she seems happy about it, unless you yuck her yikes.
And then she like brings it when she brings it up later and she's like talking and
Lisa's like, no, uh, I'd be worried about this.
And she's like, really?
I should be worried about that?
It's like, how do you not know that?
Like, that is bizarre.
How are you not already thinking we've broken up a bunch of different times in six months?
that's not normal.
She just doesn't have those thoughts.
So I think being in Brittany's mind is probably a scary place to be for somebody like me
because I wouldn't really understand it.
But the beautiful thing.
I think to be that blissfully ignorant would be wonderful.
Yeah, that's not a bad call, honestly.
But on a show like this, it is dangerous because you are going to stay stupid shit
and people are going to attack you for it.
And look, if she can handle it at the end of the day, which it seems like she might be able to,
I'm fine with it.
Because eventually what's going to happen is the rest of the women are just going to understand,
oh, that's just Brittany.
I'm not going to jump at her just because she said something crazy.
Let's just how her mind works.
I'm going to leave her alone or I'm going to laugh at it.
And then we get the comedic relief.
That's going to be even better.
Right now it's okay because nobody knows Brittany.
Nobody knows what she's doing.
Nobody understands how her mind works.
We don't.
So when she says stuff and they jump at her, yeah, I get that.
That makes a lot of sense to me.
But later down the line, she could be exactly what we need.
And again, I can't say this enough.
They brought in two people polar opposites that are going to make the show great.
And it's going to give us those little bit of content breaks, if you will, where Britney's going to do something stupid in one scene.
It's like, all right, that's funny.
Yeah, no, it is funny.
But we get to Angie and Bronwyn.
And this is where I'm like, okay, so she's moving.
She is moving her way.
She's trying to set herself up.
it's not a bad move it's a risky move it's a very risky play but she seems to be good at it
and that's what's like there's something i don't know there's something to brahman where i'm like
oh man you've thought of all these things now you go to angi k and now you're going against
lisa a little bit where you're saying well nothing whitney said i mean she didn't say anything
that was untrue it's just the way that she went about it so i went and i had a conversation with
Whitney. Now she's protecting herself. So when Angie Kay finds out that she talked to Whitney and
Lisa finds out, she's like, oh, but here's the context of the conversation. You can say that
stuff, but just you got to come across differently. I talked to Whitney. I talked to Lisa. I told
that she went a little bit to her. She's playing every angle. This is what Gina was trying to do
on Rossi, but she didn't cover her bases. Bronwyn has a contingency plan. Bronwyn is planning
steps ahead to protect herself from when it inevitably comes crashing down, and it doesn't even
take long. The end of this episode, it happens, and she's already set up for success because
she's playing the game very smart, and that takes us to the ropes course.
Mary is still so upset about being called poor. It's like the worst possible thing you can say
about her. So she's still upset about that. Meredith, she can't do the ropes course. She's got
tennis elbow from churn and butter, not from jerking off sets.
not okay that is not what it was tennis elbow looked fine when she was making shushuka but right now
it's bothering her which by the way i don't know are you into the ropes course i'm not i don't like
it i don't mind them i think they're you know i'm not afraid of like heights and stuff so it's like
no i'm not afraid they're just like and when you get done like a few of them you're like all right
so it's it's pretty much the same thing just with different footholds yeah high above
the ground and I get it the whole things to like lean on other people and learn how to work
together as a team work but I'll be damned if I'm not the first one through that goddamn
droves course I don't need any goddamn help so I'm a fucking champion so that's how my brain
works I'm gonna win but Mary being Mary and just Mary this is the stuff with Mary that
irritates me to no end and I don't think I'll ever get over it or think it's like oh
ha ha funny but Maly's on the the thing and she's like I know she's
rappelling down she's like oh i thought maybe was way thinner than that it's like why who gives
a fuck shut up that's rude there's no need for that we've already like we know for a fact now
because of your response to heather walking up to you skinny heather that just body shape is
status to you if you're if you're skinny you're worth my time if you're not go fuck yourself
which i hate i fucking hate that and that's probably why i will never actually like mary like stuff
Like that is inexcusable to me, but...

Anyway, we finally get to the meal, and this is where everything pops off, because it starts out, granted, I know I said earlier, oh, you're against Britney.
This is weird.
This is a weird move.
It does give you a depiction of who Brittany is and how her brain does or does not work, because she stands up, doesn't really know anybody.
He's like, I have a toast to make.
I'm like, before I even knew what she said, I'm like, that's weird.
You don't know anybody here.
If the toast was, I'm so happy to be with all of you and I can't wait to get to know you guys better.
And I know that, you know, last week was a little crazy and there was a lot going on there.
But I hope that I can be friends with you guys.
That would be a fine toast.
I'd be okay with that toast.
And then if Mary treated her the way as she did right after that, then it's like, all right, Mary, why don't you back off?
She's trying to be nice.
No, we're not doing this.
No, she's going to bring up a personal thing in her life.
Some of you may know, pretty much all of you do not.
I'm officially
his girlfriend
Jared and I are
officially painting
like why would you do that
it just doesn't make any sense
it made no sense
and she says we're Instagram official
and then somebody speaks up and goes
well I saw that and it said best friends at Costco
like that's not really what it is
and that's where I start to feel bad
because clearly in this relationship
I've already got the dynamic figured out
before they go into talking about it
I'm like oh this dude's playing you
he's playing you and you're buying into
You're breaking up 16 times, not because you want to break up because he doesn't want to settle down.
And he's keeping you in an arm's length so he can have his cake and eat it too.
He is a 50 plus fuck boy.
That's what he is.
Then you're getting played right now and you don't see that.
And that's sad.
That made me sad.
And on Britney's teams, I'm like, wow, you really truly don't see it.
And for you to give this toast means you're completely oblivious to social norms.
So I feel for you, Brittany.
You're just trying your best out here.
You're doing the best you can.
I don't think you have a malicious bone in your body and you don't really know what you're up against with this crew, but you need to keep yourself in check.
These moments are going to bite you in the ass, especially when your counterpart is Bronwyn, who is here to make a name for herself.
I'm about to get into that.
But Mary, kind of funny, why do we care?
I mean, everybody's thinking it.
Yeah, everybody's thinking it.
I don't even know you.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
It sounds like something I just don't care about.
Why do I care?
I don't want to do this right now.
What are you doing?
That's rude, Mary.
Yes, it is rude.
But also, why do we care?
Why do we care?
I didn't care if Mary going, well, you were rude to me.
It's like she was like you took it rude, but watching it back, like she wasn't rude.
And especially, that's my other thing.
If you can't listen to what she just said to the table and then when
is like he's clearly playing you and you didn't realize that either like can't you marry cosby be like oh she just says stupid shit because you pegged whitney for doing that two years ago three years ago sorry when you were on the show originally before you took your hiatus you said whitney just talks and she doesn't say anything that's what brittney does but you're taking it literally like she called you poor get the fuck over like i'm tired of that already but lb steps in says jared's working you over a little bit Whitney
shares the same concern and Brittany has this like epiphany just because they said it.
She's like, oh, I never thought about it like that.
Yeah, no, I see what you guys are saying now.
Fuck.
So funny.
Like you could tell that the thought never even crossed her mind because usually you'd think she knows that something's weird and she doesn't like it, but she needs some sort of validation from the group.
So let me bring it to the girls and let them decide.
and then they can give me some advice.
That's not what this was at all.
She was actually excited and then said that they posted their Instagram official,
which is still so funny.
And it's not.
And this is my best friend at Costco.
I love Heather's rant on Costco because I love Costco.
Costco's the shit.
So much happiness in one Costco card.
It's the best.
But I love that Lisa interrupts all of it just to say, yeah, he's kind of working you over.
I don't like it.
I don't like what this is.
And the thought had never crossed Britney's mind.
I get it now.
No, you're right.
Damn.
Nothing's going to change.
Nothing at all is going to change.
But at least you can see, she is very easily influenced on what might be going on in her own life.
Mm-hmm.
And it goes further because we had heard a little bit about her issues with her children as she picked men over kids, which I guess is a common theme amongst them more religion, did not know that if you're not married as a woman, you can't go to heaven.
come on guys
seriously
we can't read
we can't read between the lines here
yeah seriously
but I'm not going to get into that
but Mary gets really personal
and it's like well if you're so nice
and Brittany has been nothing but nice
even during all of this she's not being rude to anybody
if you're nothing but nice
why can't you make amends with your kids
fucking atrocious thing to say
however I was not ready for a relatable moment
from Mary. Not that I related to it, but Mary relating and saying I was triggered by it because
of my mom. She was never home. My relationship with her. This reminded me of that. I got
triggered. Did you have to respond the way you did? No, you didn't. But we got a little insight into
Mary, which we don't normally get. So I think within these first two episodes, we've gotten more
from Mary Cosby than her entire Bravo career combined. Yeah. Yeah, I was going to say that too.
It's just I was not expecting the confessional going back to any of that. No. I was not expecting
her to share anything about her life, which she has now done two episodes in a row. So you're
right. This is the most that we've ever gotten about any sort of backstory for Mary. We talk about
it with Milwaukee too, our father's from Milwaukee. Know that. That's weird, random. So we'll find
out more about it next week too. It's incredible. But yeah, I know. I had the same sentiment that you
did atrocious thing to say. But again, this is, Brittany has no idea how these things work.
And Heather put it perfectly. I brought this little lamb in front of a bunch of wolves.
and she's not helping herself, Heather tried to help, it's not working.
You can't give them information, especially like in the Mormon church, I'm sure,
talking about how you have no relationship with your kids.
How many times have we seen that across Bravo?
It's low hanging fruit.
If it's out there and you're not going to share any more information,
look at Danielle with her brother, weird shit going on over there.
You're not giving specifics.
Brittany's falling right into that trap.
Everybody reacts the same way to it.
Mary says it plainly, which is bad.
But you got to think that everybody's thinking it.
Everybody at that table is like, well, you know, what's going on with your kids?
Maybe we'll find out.
But I don't know if I want to hear it from you right now because you're kind of annoying me.
Yeah.
Any chance for speculation if you leave that door open will always turn out poorly for you.
Never leave room for speculation.
If you're not going to come with all the details, don't bring it up.
Yep.
You know what I mean?
And if it's something you don't want to share, start putting together a defense for when somebody
inevitably finds out and brings it up without you knowing.
Yep.
Like, those are the moves.
But hopefully she'll learn.
I don't know if she will, but she's fun to watch.
But that's where Bronwyn decides to speak up.
And I was taken aback.
I was like, whoa.
I liked it.
I got to go with.
I didn't have an issue with it.
Normally I would.
Her approach is different.
She is very confident, but not in an I'm too comfortable too quickly.
And I think this is because she made the rounds.
Then she's kind of ingratiated herself into this crew already.
And here's my theory in a second.
But she goes after Brittany.
says you got to get your words in order words matter and look you're just wild and crazy and
look you're wild a f hated fucking hated that that that drove me nuts when she's a wild a f but
regardless that's where heather finally steps in season opening and takes it and it was a good opening
yeah she's like all right we're going to own our words now what about you i sat in the car
with you where you shit on whitney fast forward i find out that you and whitney had a lovely car ride
together. Bronwyn protected herself. Well, if you ask Whitney, I told her everything that
I said, like you pointed out earlier. Yes, but it was different. There was stank in the car with
LB. There was no stank when you talked to Whitney. You went a step further and protected yourself
with Angie. So now she's going to come to your defense. But now I've seen what it is. And this is
the Jen Shaw effect. Bronwyn is upper echelon. She's high fashion, super wealthy husband,
crazy house, crazy lifestyle, something that all of these women aspire to and want to be.
Let's not forget, Lisa Barlow approached her because of what she was shopping for at Nordstrom.
So these women fluctuate towards wealth, towards this kind of lifestyle.
And Bronwyn encapsulates all of that.
So they're going to defend her the same exact way that they defended and rooted for Jen Shaw because she's here.
Lisa does not care what Bronwyn does.
She will be on Bronwyn's team because Bronwyn is somebody she wants to associate with.
Angie Kay, same thing.
Both of those people were very tight with Jen Shaw for a while.
They're falling for the same schick where it's like we want to be friends with the cool rich kid
and fuck everybody else in this group.
Brittany's an easy target.
She's aloof.
She's going through a bunch of shit.
We don't even know what her fucking deal is.
Meanwhile, I can side with this super wealthy, super fashionable.
super cool chick, and I want to be on that team.
It's the Jen Shaw effect all over again, but it's Bronwyn at the helm.
It's Bronwyn at the helm, and she's doing a great job.
It's one of those things that I would agree with you, too.
If she didn't have her act together, if she was sloppy, this would still happen.
They would still come to her defense.
They would still ask her to explain more, which most people don't get that grace.
A lot of people say things like, look at Britney.
Britney says something.
She immediately just gets knocked back down.
If Angie Kay says something, she gets attacked.
Same with Whitney.
Those things are going to happen.
Bronwyn could afford to do a lot less work than she's doing.
And she's also working really hard to make sure that her image is up with everybody,
that she's doing her rounds, that she's talking to everybody about the same exact situation
and using basically the same words.
So that way, when people bring it up, you bring up a quote, I could say, no, I didn't mean it like that.
That's how I said it to Whitney.
Whitney said the same thing.
You see Whitney in her confessional.
And she's like, if that's all she said, then she said that to my face.
That is all she said.
But it was different.
She was smart about it.
Like she's really, really smart with her approach to all of this.
It's got to be exhausting to keep that up unless she's just that good.
But we'll have to see how this goes for the rest of the season because we're already seeing how she's operating.
I like how she's operating.
She's doing a very good job.
She looked like a season bet.
But I don't know if it's sustainable.
It's a tough road.
It's a tough road to walk.
And there's a lot of pitfalls that could come.
to it, but the episode ends with something that I'm all too familiar with, and Whitney starts
getting pissed off again, and she's like, you're weaponizing my trauma.
Don't weaponize my trauma.
I'm so sick of these millennial trigger words that paints all millennials in a bad light.
Nobody's weaponizing your trauma.
Again, if you are going to claim these are my fillings, this is my experience, then you also
in turn have to acknowledge that this is their experience.
These are their fillings.
So you cannot play the card of I'm on a healing journey trying to get better.
If you don't like what I'm saying, that's because you don't acknowledge my feelings and you're trying to attack me by weaponizing my trauma.
Well, what are you doing?
You're ignoring everybody else's feelings and experiences because they don't align with your healing journey.
And that's bullshit because you're completely disregarding facts.
People are giving you actual instances where you've been a.
nightmare and have said one thing, did another thing because you always mix up in a word salad
because you're never forthcoming because your definition of what actually happened.
And I truly believe that you think that that's how it went down is not usually what happened.
This group has time and time again tried to tell you, this is what we've noticed, Whitney.
It seems to be a trend because all of us have experienced it.
Whitney's response, you're weaponizing my trauma.
That's my feelings and you can't tell me how I felt.
they're not they're saying you were an asshole that's all they're trying to tell you at the end of the day and that's all they've been trying to tell you for years now and you have so many different approaches to it where yes i you know i've got so much going on right now i just can't keep my mind on it that's part one now you're through everything so that says to me if your healing journey is complete healing
well if it was truly complete she would say healing right uh would be healing anymore she's not going up that hill anymore she's coming down but still
I would say if you were truly complete, then that gives it, it's open season on Whitney.
That means you can handle this.
That means you've gone through everything.
There is no weaponizing your trauma anymore.
You're healed.
You shouldn't have that sort of reaction to those things.
So either you didn't go through with it or you did go through with it.
But either way, it's still the same Whitney and she's just using words to throw it out there.
You could have just brushed this aside and said, no, like I talked to Brahmin and I didn't see any issues with it.
So it's not that big of a deal.
I don't really care.
Let's go back to Brittany.
Let's talk about Britney's relationship.
Is she actually a girlfriend?
What the fuck's going on over here?
Yeah, what the hell's going on over here?
Let's do that.
And then you get Maley in the middle of it.
Are you serious?
By the way, did you see that Lisa and Angie both have the same sunglasses on?
Angie is, uh, I just, look, nobody can have bigger sunglasses than Angie.
So absolutely not.
Lisa needs to check herself.
No, Lisa needs to check herself.
Angie needs to size up.
yes that's the correct response not not don't wear the same size as me it's watch this
and then get some big like mickey mouse glasses oh yeah that's the move but let's get to some
preguntas preguntas what do you say first and foremost before we get to preguntas actually no
no don't look don't look at the poll oh i was looking at the questions yeah we're gonna save the
poll until we're done, all right?
You ready for the questions?
All right.
Ooh, from 2000s days, how long before Lisa turns on Bronwyn?
I don't think it's going to happen.
I don't either.
Yeah.
I think because of the status, I don't think.
For all the things that you just said, I just don't see her turning.
And that's usually what Lisa does, too.
Yep, I agree.
Oh, interesting.
From Mrs. Rachel Rose, is Heather too cocky now?
No, I feel like she's just kind of.
found her form.
That's what I think, too.
Yeah, I think she's okay.
I don't really find her cocky at all.
Oh, this is interesting.
From a deer into headlights,
is Heather's issue with Bronwyn rooted in jealousy over Lisa's friendship?
It could be.
I mean, we've seen that in the past where Heather does get a little jealous.
And, yeah, that's a really good point.
That's interesting.
Honestly, it could be.
but also, and we talked about this a little earlier,
Bronwyn doesn't seem like a newbie,
but she is and she's getting to know everybody at the same time.
Heather's just being a little cautious right now.
So for now,
I'm going to say she's just being a little cautious
to see how she handles things.
I agree with that.
From Charnik 1,
what's everyone's real thoughts on merit of the storyline so far?
Snooze emoji.
I think that she's perfect right now
because there's enough going on elsewhere,
where it's just like I think it's funny
that each episode we have to hear about bath bombs
like that's everything if it was really
boring and there was nothing which is something
that we did fear because of the
Monica fallout if it was really
boring and Meredith
was doing what she's doing right now yeah we'd be
calling for more from her but right now we don't need it
it's just it's just nice
to go out to dinner with her and Seth
you know I agree I agree
we'll do one more from Travis Rodin
unless you find a sleeper in there
do you think Bronwyn
will be a one-season wonder, or do you think she's around for a while?
Basing her off of the newbies that we've seen from different franchises over the years,
I think she's going to hang around.
She's not going to be a one-season wonder.
I think she's already kind of found her groove.
She'll get knocked off her path at some point for sure, but I don't know.
I think she's got it.
Yeah, I think given, you know, knee-jerk reaction two episodes in,
she brings more to the table than 99.9% of newbies that we've seen.
Whether you like her or not,
she's doing a better job objectively than we've seen.
Now,
the one pitfall I could see is this master plan that she's put together
of wheeling and dealing all over the place
could be her downfall to where people wouldn't want to work with her,
but it would never be like a Monica situation
because she doesn't run a burner account.
So even if you get the fallout of her plans backfiring, I think she's going to give us enough that you would want her back in a villain role or just to see her try to make amends with the group.
So just based on what she's done with two episodes of work, I don't see her going anywhere.
I think she brings enough to the show for now.
She's going to get irritating at some point with this, you know, because she is so comfortable so quickly, I'm sure it'll strike a chord at some point.
But for now.
And yeah, I don't foresee it getting bad enough where it's like get her off the screen.
I think she came to play and it's working.
Yep, I agree.
But let's check the poll.
The question was, who has better decor, who decorated better?
Was it Marge or Bronwyn?
347 votes for March 86 for Bronwyn.
So the people have spoken, Dickhead.
I don't think people know what they're talking about.
Well, that's fine.
that's you're just now you're arguing against numbers which is dumb makes you sound dumb i'm arguing
against our fans yeah you're arguing against our people right now that have said marge's house is
better so i i'm vindicated once again i win you lose uh it's up to 24 hours we'll keep an eye on it
i i have a feeling i'm going to pull away it's at 80% to 20% right now so i like my odds but we'll
keep an eye that's fair we'll see what happens we'll see how
hell it goes we'll keep you all updated but yeah other than that excited for what this season has
in store want to see where it goes i'm liking the newbies brittney and bronwyn and i think by the way
casting them the same season probably not intentional no works so well it works so well opposite people
yeah no it really does work so well so really excited to see the rest of the season and welcome to
Housewife season.
It's housewife season.
Oh, yeah.
We're going to be busy.
We've been waiting.
And it's also
