Bros & Shows - Another Reunion That Could've Been An Email (In The City Full Recap S1 Reunion Part 2)

Episode Date: July 30, 2026

What's up bros? We'd say thank the lord we're done with Amanda and Kyle (and West) but if we're all being honest to each other; we're not done. While we know this was a pointless reunion, we dig into ...why it was pointless and how it should've been different. What was a pretty promising first season was absolutely bogged down by Amanda's shenanigans and this was just the icing on top by spending 80% of the final reunion episode talking more (and giving passes to) Amanda. Starting point is 00:00:00 I've hit my limit. I've reached my limit of Amanda Batula. I'm done. I'm over it. I can't do it anymore. It's going to ruin this show for me. And I like this show. I didn't love this episode at all.
Starting point is 00:00:14 But I like this show. And to sum up, I'm done with Amanda. Do you think that we can liken that statement to like the end of a sports season where we have a team that's really pissing us off? And then they lose and they're done. you're like, I've hit my limit. I'm done, but you're going to buy back in next year? No, because like, I know what that feels like being a Philly fan. Like, I know what it feels like, I'm done with this team.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Then spring training rolls around. I'm like, maybe this year's our year instead. This is not the same feeling. I don't know. I think as long as it doesn't creep into Summer House, I might be okay with it in the city. I feel like that might be all right. We might be on opposite ends of the spectrum right now. But as always, we'll meet in the middle at some point, right?
Starting point is 00:00:58 and we'll kiss. I'll kiss you, but I need to understand if, what are you, what are you, an Amanda fan now? No, no, I just, I think that I'm just, I have to talk myself into it because it's going to happen. I mean, she's coming back to X you no matter what we do. So I think I'm mental gymnastics of talking myself into it so that I'm not disappointed.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Fair enough. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a. I don't need a. I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm Karma.
Starting point is 00:01:35 And yes, I am a bitch. Brov Bros. Good evening, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros. Your favorite podcast from The Bros. For everybody, for whoever wants to listen, I am your co-host. Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only for the last time, last time this year, in your Goots. in the goots in my guts.
Starting point is 00:01:58 What's up, dude? This reunion sucked. Awful. This was stupid. This is, I know we complain when we get a good first season of a show, like the inaugural season. Oh, yeah, we should have had a reunion. We actually go back to the Valley season one that didn't have a reunion,
Starting point is 00:02:14 and we always use that, but, you know, it's the Valley, so I don't care anymore. This, like, there was no point in having a reunion for this show. We didn't talk about anything, but Amanda Kyle, Lindsay, we did a little bit of Lindsay. Kenny in the first episode. Yeah, Danielle and Lindsay was the main focus. It's not the main focus of this episode. This episode was Amanda and Kyle. Like, we're done.
Starting point is 00:02:35 We're good. We're good here. We don't need anymore. I don't know what, 42 minutes of this, I guess 28 of those minutes were Amanda and Kyle. The other 14 were Lindsay and Danielle. Like, I don't. What about the other people on this show that actually brought some fun storylines that we could check in on? I know there's not a lot.
Starting point is 00:02:53 It's like, oh, yeah, you're pregnant. We did that in the first episode. But there's more involved. I would have rather watched Lindsay and Kenny go back and forth for another 20 minutes before we got into any of this. The Lindsay and Danielle stuff was so just why. Like, what do we need this for? I wasn't invested in this during the season. I'm definitely not invested in it now.
Starting point is 00:03:13 The Kyle and Amanda stuff I expected, like we were going to have to go down that road. I think that's going to be prevalent for the next two years. Like the next reunion next year is going to be, well, let's check in on the. life after marriage. Like, how are you guys doing? Do you miss each other? Like, we're going to have to deal with that. Probably for two to three more years.
Starting point is 00:03:33 So I expected that I didn't enjoy it. Like, I hated it, honestly, because I see what's happening. I see what Andy's doing. I see what they are doing as a network. That was step one of the hard launch of the Amanda Batula Redemption arc is what we saw. And I am not okay with that. Would you rather them try to force an Amanda Patulah
Starting point is 00:03:59 Redemption Arc or pure chaos and throwing West into in the city? And maybe even Sally. I'm cool with Sally joining like. See, I'm not with her. Being objective, I just don't think she's enough of a factor to sway it good or bad. I think that Sally's fine. I think that she was fine on Southern Charm. I think that she would be fine in this capacity.
Starting point is 00:04:23 West, it's like taking the emotion out of it, the fact that I hate the guy. I just don't think it drives the show. I think that if that happens, then the entire show becomes about Amanda and West. And Kyle's response to it and how people are moving around Amanda and West, I think it limits who will film with who drastically. I think it changes the entire show. I think we've a different show. Would people watch it?
Starting point is 00:04:50 Yeah, because people love chaos. But I don't think that it's. conducive to what they're trying to do with this show. Right. But that was the question. The question was Amanda Redemption Arc or Wested Amanda. Oh, that's not how you framed it. That is exactly how I framed it.
Starting point is 00:05:07 No, it's not. Roll the tape. Yes, it is. I said through, you roll the tape. Sally into it and you threw me off. Yeah. I would rather Amanda Redemption like that.
Starting point is 00:05:16 If that, if those are the options, if the options are shoot myself in the left foot or the right foot, I guess I'm shooting myself in the right foot. Yeah, I think I'm leaning. more towards just throw West in there. I'd rather have to deal with
Starting point is 00:05:27 the rest of the group talking about this because we're still, the problem that I have right now and obviously it's with the reunion, a lot of things happened this year and a lot of people were involved in a lot of different things. We only focused on like three topics this reunion. That's why I think the reunion sucked. There was no point to this. It was just like, all right, let's
Starting point is 00:05:44 get our clickbait out there and just talk more about this. But the masses are pretty much done with all this. I know we're still keeping an eye and people are still posting TikToks as they go, I guess Amanda and West are doing like a tour of the Jersey shore because they're not welcome in any of the New York shores. Are they going to show up in the wild one?
Starting point is 00:06:00 Not our shore. No, God, no, they never do that. Stay the fuck out of there. Side note, FX is doing a show called Wildwood. It's based in like year old 2000. That's going to rock. I'm going to gate the hell out of that show for all the people that hate all Wildwood.
Starting point is 00:06:14 We need to review that show. Yeah, I think we should. But Amanda and West, like, yeah, people are still going to follow them and keep an eye on things. But we don't really care about what we like people think about it like i don't care about what kyle thinks about it anymore i'm over that definitely don't care about what amanda west are saying because it's all bullshit anyway so i don't know i think i'd rather have that just as like throw it out there see what happens if it doesn't work for a
Starting point is 00:06:38 season whatever than watching amanda get a redemption arc because again and i've said this a million times she's so boring like she brings nothing to anything she she rode on the coat towels of kyle for the entirety of her stay on summerhouse then she became friends as we saw it wasn't really that close to friends, friends with the rest of the girls in the group at Summerhouse that actually had interesting lives and drove the show in a direction. She didn't do anything. So her on her own doesn't interest me at all. If you want it to work or you want to see how it goes, I think West makes more sense than a redemption arc because we get a redemption arc and then what? There's still going to be like two Amanda fans out there and it's going to be your family.
Starting point is 00:07:14 No, I agree with you. I mean, ideally neither of these things happen. Yeah, no, no, neither is a good choice. Yeah, I know. But I don't think that they would, try to fit West into this cast. I just don't think that it would work. I do think they're going to give us an Amanda redemption arc. And that's pretty much what you saw with Andy's line of questioning in the beginning of the Amanda package. And yeah, I think that it's, it's just tough to watch because we've been talking about it all season, right? It's this, this plan that she had going into this season of I'm going to use in the city.
Starting point is 00:07:53 to paint Kyle in the worst light possible. So that when this is all said and done, I will come out of this in flying colors. And this was another chance to do that at the reunion after everything had come out, after we got through the West stuff. And now she has a chance to ruminate from the first reunion, realize what she did wrong,
Starting point is 00:08:13 and she gets another shot because she knows she's going to talk about it. And she takes the opportunity to once again, everything is Kyle's fault. The entire thing is Kyle's fault. fuck Kyle forever he ruined me we don't even reference the fact that he like her shenanigans we didn't even talk about the West stuff we talked about Kyle and alleged rumors alleged DMs that I don't think she's still getting like all of this fake evidence that look if you're getting this stuff
Starting point is 00:08:42 bring the receipts that's a different story but even then it's like all right you fucking burned your entire friend group you burned Kyle in so many ways. And yet here you are no accountability two times, two reunions within two months and you fuck them both up. And I blame Andy in part. No, it is Andy's fault.
Starting point is 00:09:08 It's Bravo's fault that we're doing any of this and talking about it at the reunion again. I also, she just contradicts herself so often. I mean, she's not online. She hasn't been online in so long because of everything. It's like, okay, yeah, We understand that.
Starting point is 00:09:22 But you're getting DMs. Like that doesn't make any sense. And there's obviously rumors that she has a burner that she's been using for years. So she might be using that. I just don't I don't really care anymore. I'll tell you what I do care about. And that's a little check in with our best friend, Katie DeLuca. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:40 We have some Katie DeLuca news and I saved it for everybody because that is way more interesting than this fucking shit. So let me just read this to you because somebody reached out. I should have done it. I don't know why I didn't do this, but somebody reached out and said, hey, so what happens with you being on the show? And this actually makes sense. I think we need to give her another shot and bring her back next year because she says, hi, I was actually only signed on as a friend of, which we knew, not a full-time cast member. I ended up filming quite a few scenes with Amanda in the fall because of everything that was going on with her and Kyle,
Starting point is 00:10:12 which is most likely why I was included in the promo that was shot later in January. It makes sense to me. As everything unfolded, I think the story. line just wasn't as relevant anymore. So most of those scenes were cut out. That's honestly pretty common with reality TV. So much gets films that never makes the final edit once production figures out. What tells the best overall story, especially with how much attention and emotion
Starting point is 00:10:35 surrounded Amanda's storyline. Hope that helps. So a little check in with Katie DeLuca, that's all I really needed. And that makes total sense. I mean, I do think we got force fed a lot more Kyle and Amanda bullshit. And you could have probably thrown in. I'm just joking, obviously. like Katie DeLuca is a non-factor.
Starting point is 00:10:51 But I do like the idea that that's a good bit to give moving forward. But yeah, I mean, like the West and Sierra meeting gets discussed during this reunion, obviously. That was icky. I don't understand how Amanda doesn't understand that that's fucking icky. She's still acting like it wasn't a big deal. She goes, it would be diabolical of me. Yeah, it fucking was. We know.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Like Danielle with the finally, you know, Danielle saying something relevant. Yeah, that's what we were all thinking. Diabolical is the right word. And we were all thinking it would be diabolical if you did this. Thus proving that the majority of the cast still sitting around thinks there is overlap. We didn't spend any time on the overlap. We didn't spend any time going around the room and saying, hey, guys, what do you guys think?
Starting point is 00:11:33 Instead, she just gets a pass. Like, this reunion was so easy for Amanda. We thought there was going to be fallout because of how she acted. Andy didn't press on the fact that she said she was on beta blockers, but that wasn't the reason why she wasn't acting that way. He asked one measly question like, hey, you just apologize to Danielle. What about an apology to Sierra?
Starting point is 00:11:51 I just, yeah, I was so stressed out going into it. Like, enough. It's, we know what we're going to get. I do think, yeah, there is a line of you have to ask these questions. You owe it to the audience. You owe it to the people sitting around the room to ask these questions. But we all know where it's going to go. She has nothing of substance to add to the conversation.
Starting point is 00:12:09 We're never going to get that. But you should have gone around the room and really pressed on the overlap because I think that's more interesting. And it goes to, it goes hand in hand with what we're talking about on the show with her having a sit down with Sierra and West. Like it just missed. We missed on absolutely everything. And I would have rather just talked to Kenny and Whitney more.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Talk to fucking Nick and Yvonne. Like let's talk about them and how they were faring with anything. Not just are you and Lindsay cool again. Let's get back to Lindsay and Danielle. Like it was just, it was a complete swing and a miss for a reunion for me. I agree. And I think that if you're going to go the route of Kyle and Amanda, right, and you're going to rehash this whole thing, then you.
Starting point is 00:12:47 need to play both sides, Andy. And that's where I had an issue because we saw multiple things this season, as we've talked about, as I've already talked about in this episode, the lack of any kind of effort from Amanda's side to actually save this marriage. Andy doesn't press that at all. He doesn't press about the one month lease turning into a one-year lease, even though he references it, but then moves on from it. He never referenced, it felt like, you know, multiple times you're just trying to drag Kyle
Starting point is 00:13:16 and make him look worse, and it doesn't feel to me like you're actually giving any effort into this marriage. We got one question about that, and I don't think that's fair. I think that if you're going to press this thing, we need to press both sides.
Starting point is 00:13:31 We need to understand Amanda and her motives this season. So ask her about them because they were quite clearly on display, and they were nefarious. They were trying, she was trying to just bury Kyle. And everybody on mine agrees. Like I was reading on Twitter after I watched the reunion, it's a bloodbath. Everyone's saying, one, it was boring a shit.
Starting point is 00:13:51 And two, Amanda's full of shit. But Andy, it was such a weird route to take because he was pretty much co-signing what Amanda was saying. Like, yeah, you know, Kyle, you were a piece of shit. We all know Kyle was a piece of shit. Yeah. Like, we will say that every time until we're blue in the face. Kyle was a bad husband, period.
Starting point is 00:14:11 it. But now that we're at where we're at, and the whole entire premise is that they're trying to, quote, unquote, figure it out during this time frame, why the fuck aren't we talking about them trying to, quote, unquote, figure it out in the lack of effort from Amanda? I have no idea. I really have no idea. It's kind of rhetorical. I don't, there's not an answer. No, I get that. Honestly, it should have just been a very clear cut and dry. How do we feel about the rug pull? I mean, we showed the scene of her saying,
Starting point is 00:14:45 and back to back, we showed the edit of her saying, it's only going to be for like a month. Like this is a short term thing right into the next conversation of, I found the apartment and it's a year long lease. Let's talk about that for at least like five to ten minutes. I know we have to talk about Kyle Amanda, but at least talk about the relevant things. Like we're still doing such a high overview of where are you in West?
Starting point is 00:15:04 What's going on here? And then you're allowing that from Amanda, where she then gets to point the finger back at Kyle in saying, I was checked out of the relationship. But she's saying all of the things that make us feel, if you were checked out of the relationship, then why wouldn't there be a little overlap with West or somebody else? Instead, we're giving her so much space to operate.
Starting point is 00:15:23 There's so much space on the floor, if you will, to just go back at Kyle and say, well, you know, I've been getting DMs about him cheating. Smirking, by the way, snorking the entire time. Yeah, it's just, I just don't understand it. And the other piece of that was just all of the things that we saw. Amanda had a terrible reunion. and then this comes out.
Starting point is 00:15:40 It's like, okay, no, this isn't true. I think it's just frustrating because if we're going to be forced to discuss it, like we didn't have to talk about this again. But obviously we're going to because of Kyle and Amanda's marriage, but then keep it to that. Like stick to Kyle and Amanda's marriage, but both sides of the street. Because all we did was let Amanda give her a platform for, what,
Starting point is 00:16:05 28 minutes of this entire episode to try and throw shit. shit at Kyle and say he's doing this, he's doing that. Like I just said, all of that with a shit-eating grin on her face, just like smirking her way, smugly through this entire thing. And like, if you're going to make these claims, then fucking take a picture. Do a screenshot because I don't think you're getting all of these DMs. I think it's such an easy default because we're used to that. And you did get those DMs because Kyle's a shitty husband.
Starting point is 00:16:36 We're aware. You're not getting them anymore. And as you said, are you online or sorry, are you not online? Or are you getting DMs? Like, which is it? Which is it? I just, I think the frustration boiled over because we like this show. We see how this show can be successful.
Starting point is 00:16:54 This is not what's going to make this show successful. No, not at all. I also think that she knows for a fact that she can get away with it because not only will Kyle not ask her to produce receipts because either he did it or didn't do. do it, but also won't ask her because he feels bad for her. But also, and this is a big thing, no one on the cast really is getting involved with any of this. Like the whole season, like Gavin was interjecting himself. Kenny was interjecting himself. Everyone was talking about it. Everybody had an opinion about it. But for some reason we get to the reunion, you just let them have it out for what?
Starting point is 00:17:28 Like it's not fair that Amanda's pointing at Kyle in the midst of all this, but all of you who had so much energy to say all these things all season just checked out. It doesn't make any sense. And Lindsay, who is probably going to be the catalyst for the Amanda's best friend now. Yeah, it's just, the whole thing is just annoying. And it's like, I don't know. I just always think of the general people who watch this show, not, you know, your friendships, not, you know, your proposed storylines for a season two. Think about the people that are watching this that don't like Amanda.
Starting point is 00:18:01 The majority of us do not like Amanda for one reason or another. Either they're still holding her accountable for the West thing and they hate her and they'll never forgive her or and this is probably most people we don't care about Amanda we don't write Amanda on our screens anymore she brings nothing to the story all we're going to do for a round two next season is more Kyle and Amanda stuff that was the lowest point of the entire show like yeah we checked in immediately to the show to say what are we doing now let's see how this all transpires let's see how all these things can start piling up and her hanging out with West is that going to be shown and it wasn't shown it was showed one time with
Starting point is 00:18:38 Sierra. So we all got the icky face. Then we moved on from it and it was just more Amanda and Kyle fighting. We're done. It's over. We don't care about that anymore. So for them to think like, all right, yeah, here's 28 minutes of this. It's like, okay, I know you have to do more of it and like close the chapter, so to speak, but they're not going to close the chapter. They're going to keep it
Starting point is 00:18:55 open because they think it's a cash cow. They think they're going to move forward. Listen to the fans for once in your life. We don't want Amanda anymore. There's more going on here. Plug and play random people from New York City that have ties to this group, have ties to summer. house. I don't care what you do. Yeah, Carl. Well, yeah, but love Carl. Carl. Carl doesn't really move the needle in terms of drama necessarily. He's just going to be a nice person that we like, but there's got to be more people out there that are going to bring it or just get rid of
Starting point is 00:19:23 Amanda and you create more space for other people to operate. You create more space for Kenny round two. You create more space for Gavin round two. There's so many things that will grow if you remove that. And that's what they're probably missing, I assume. Yeah, I don't know. And we'll touch briefly on Lindsay and Danielle and mainly Owen because that guy fucking stinks. I don't like him at all. Like what a loser. And we talked about this during the season.
Starting point is 00:19:53 He gives this impression of I'm better than reality TV. Brother, you're on reality TV. He's like, you know, this group is like, what is it, drama hungry or something like that? I'm like, yeah, bitch. Like, what do you think this is? We're not watching you guys just like casually live your lives. And if we were, you and Danielle definitely wouldn't be on the show because that's not fun to watch at all. So yeah, dude, we are reality or fucking drama farming.
Starting point is 00:20:22 That's what this shit's about. And you're not better then because you're on the fucking show. And now you found your balls and you're going to sit in the back row whispering under your breath, calling all the women on the other side fucking idiots. Like, this was a terrible showing from a guy. who didn't do shit all season, then he tried to put on his big boy pants at the reunion and fumbled them. It was so, he just gave me like the biggest ick.
Starting point is 00:20:47 And when he says certain words, he whistles, he's like, yeah, at the end of it, I can't stand that. Yeah, we like the,
Starting point is 00:20:53 uh, the Texas whistle. We like the McConaughey whistle. We don't like that whistle. Sweet. That one turned me off. But, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:00 It's at the team. He said, but he goes, but, yeah, I don't really understand that one. But also, he did this little thing.
Starting point is 00:21:07 where I think the rest of the guys were like, all right, cool. Like you should have said that when he was talking about guys night and how he was not talking about things and how he was actively being vague. Everybody there was like, oh, wow, nice. Yeah, you admit it.
Starting point is 00:21:21 You were being vague. Okay, cool. We can work with this. Immediately gets knocked right back down. Immediately starts looking at everybody else. Like, you guys are fucking nuts. I don't get this. I don't understand what you guys are doing.
Starting point is 00:21:31 It is a common practice to be Googling people that are on reality TV. We're all doing it at home. we're looking at things people take it a little too far that just comes with the space that just comes with the territory of being on reality tv just get that through your thick head and figure it out how Danielle's not having these conversations with him is beyond me i don't get that because daniel has been online and active for years i mean just go back six six years maybe i'm going to give her go back to when her and lindsay were doing all of that all the time and it was nonsense after nonsense this is what happens like just be part of it or move on don't be part of it i don't care you don't have to do this. You really don't. There's no reason to do any of this, but to look at everybody else around the room, be like, you guys are just all drama hungry. We're drama hungry, you dumbass. Why do you think you're getting paid to be on this show? We're drama hungry. We want to watch things happen. And if you have an unclear marriage and then start dating Danielle,
Starting point is 00:22:26 then get her pregnant, everybody has questions. Get fucking used to it, pal. It was crazy, watching him backpedal, backtrack, sidestep, overstep, understep. Because after that comment of, you know, what I forget what they asked about is his divorce, but he was just flat out like, yeah. And everyone had their reaction like you said. But then he says, well, it's interesting how the questions came up when the cameras were on. What? Yeah. What do you mean? No one here's invested in you and your friendship. You're not talking to anybody. And then you made it very clear, as Gavin says, you don't want to talk about it. So why the fuck would we ask you off camera when he made it very clear on camera,
Starting point is 00:23:09 it's a no-no. Like, you, he's literally, his gripes are literally explaining what reality TV is and why we watch it. And he's got an issue with that because they're all drama hungry or whatever the fucking word he said.
Starting point is 00:23:27 And also, like her, sorry, him and Danielle are perfect for each other. Oh, yeah. They are the same fucking person. Because Danielle can't do anything right. Like she can't move on from anything. She's the one that fucks up with Lindsay and we have to sit there and listen to it.
Starting point is 00:23:44 That drove me nuts because she's like, you know, I would just love there's no list of grievances. Then stop doing stupid shit. Well, that one, that one, I had a problem with that one for a different reason. I would have loved it if for once, and this goes for a lot of people in reality TV, but obviously Danielle, I hold her at a certain regard in terms of pissing me off. when Lindsay's going through it and Andy's going through it, and we're talking about the list, it would have gone so far if she could have just been like,
Starting point is 00:24:13 you know what? Of course she did that. Of course Lindsay had a list of her grievances. Of course Lindsay had a whole thing written down of all the things that I've done to her in the past. That's Lindsay. Like I know that. Instead, she does this whole song and dance about like,
Starting point is 00:24:27 oh, you know, it just, it really hurt my heart to hear you feeling that way, blah, blah. It's like, shut up. Like stop being a baby. You've got that Shamiah victim. card type of bullshit, which we hate to see. Just be honest for once. Like you've known Lindsay for
Starting point is 00:24:41 like 20 fucking years. Just say immediately like of course Lindsay has a list. It's fucking Lindsay. That would have landed so much better and everybody would have laughed and you would have gotten a little bit of respect for me. Instead you're like, oh, just it hurt me so deeply. Then you shouldn't have said those things in the first place. The only thing I agreed with Danielle
Starting point is 00:24:57 in this whole segment of was her saying, yeah, just like can we leave those fucking things in the past? Like just we have squashed it because Lindsay got to a point where she said, yeah, we sat down, we had brunch, we talked about everything, I'm over it. Good. That means that we move on from those things. And that goes for Lindsay too. So if Danielle says that at the end, like, yeah, can we just move on from those things and make room for more mistakes to be had? Good. Do that. That's totally fine.
Starting point is 00:25:24 So when Lindsay has a new list ready to go by the end of season three or whatever it might be, you can't get mad about that as long as she doesn't go deep into the well. We've moved past all of those things that goes for Lindsay, you can't do it anymore. We all need to move on from it. Totally agree. That's Lindsay's point because that's what Danielle was doing to her when she was pregnant. Yeah. That's the thing. That's why she has an issue with Danielle and all of her bullshit.
Starting point is 00:30:01 So yeah, you're right, Owen. But tell your girl that because she did the same shit. again that falls under the better than like oh you know we don't we don't do reality TV we're just on a reality TV show that's what it's giving like I don't buy into this bullshit but I'll take the paycheck I'm so sick of him like honestly Danielle yeah I'm done with him she's whatever like we knew she's going to be a part of the show where I really find an issue in the future she does the same shit all the time right like we've seen this cycle and then she goes back she'll the same exact shit she's done in the past,
Starting point is 00:30:40 things are going to fall apart. And then it takes over the show. Like, think about it. The reunion was three quarters, Kyle and Amanda. One quarter, Danielle and Lindsay. Danielle wasn't on the show that much. She had her bad moment at the wedding with the pink and white dress, which at least she came to terms with finally.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Well, if I had to ask that many times, maybe I shouldn't wear the dress. Yeah, you think? But it's just everything that we saw her involved in this season. was like a copy and paste of stuff that has happened in the past on Summerhouse. And I really don't care to see it. And it wasn't the same things going on, but it's the same exact vibe and feeling of a Danielle issue.
Starting point is 00:31:21 I came to terms of the fact that it was going to happen because there was a lot of spillover from things that weren't resolved from Summerhouse. We knew we were going to get that. We knew we were going to try to get it out of the way early. We did somewhat, obviously it was only nine episodes of the season. So it's not like we had a ton of time here. but we did get through it. It's just, it took on a life of its own.
Starting point is 00:31:40 Like once we got done with it, then it goes again. Then it goes again. Danielle does something. Lindsay brings up other things. That's why I say it is, it is partially Lindsay. It's probably like 20% Lindsay,
Starting point is 00:31:51 80% Danielle, because we know what Danielle's going to do and she's going to keep talking about it. And I wouldn't be surprised if she rehashes old shit next year. That's just what she does. It's going to get really annoying. I need everybody else to not react to those things. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:03 She's going to start off season two. She's going to have a, happy life with her baby wouldn't be surprised of her and owen get engaged at some point they'll probably save it for the show because that's just how she operates just move the fuck on we're done with it we we've rehashed we've resolved we're good we're done with all of that create new problems i'm okay with you creating new problems because that's what you're going to do and that's what lindsay's going to do but i don't want to hear about summerhouse shit anymore we're done we're on a new show exactly this is in the city not summer house in the hamptons
Starting point is 00:32:34 but the funniest shit to me, we went through an entire reunion, three parts with Amanda incapable. I'm talking about Summer House. Five parts, technically. I guess, yeah, if you lump them together, but I was talking about the three-part Summerhouse reunion. We got through that entire thing
Starting point is 00:32:53 without one coherent apology from Amanda, who had lit her and Sierra's friendship on fire in front of the entire country. and she has all of the space to apologize to Danielle. Yeah, you know, I never really got to know. It's like, I totally get where she's coming from. And like, you know, I'm sorry about that. Like, we just weren't that close.
Starting point is 00:33:16 But like, I totally understand. Fuck you. Like that was weirdly disrespectful to Sierra who's not even on the show. And I'm glad Annie of least called that out. It's like, don't you think it's a little weird that you're able to do this to Danielle, but last year. And that's when she tries to blame the fact that she, what did she say? I was terrified that day.
Starting point is 00:33:35 I couldn't get a word. And every time I wanted to try, I would get cut off or interrupted. No, you weren't. No, you weren't. That was one of our big issues is that people weren't pressing you guys hard enough. You did not get cut off frequently. And when you did have an interjection, we saw the level of cutoff that actually happened. And it was Sierra under her breath to Kyle saying, oh, at least you can remember our names.
Starting point is 00:33:57 You doubled down. What? At least you could remember our names. And then you scoffed at her. You went, oh, what? No, you had the chance. This is, I know a lot of people, and I'm not going to blame anybody for saying that, but I know a lot of people are going to say, oh, it's because she didn't really care about Sierra.
Starting point is 00:34:14 It's because she didn't care about the friendship. This isn't even that. This is, she sees Danielle as an easy target to be a friend potentially, to be an ally. That's all it was. There's ulterior motives here. She's being nice to everybody. If you go back and I'm not going to do this, nor would I, but I know I caught a couple of moments. She's talking to people. She's being sweet. She's trying to be nice to everybody. When she goes
Starting point is 00:34:36 to Kyle, obviously, she's not. But everybody else that was talking, she's trying to speak on their behalf. Like, I would be hard pressed to not believe, even though I don't remember it, that she probably spoke up for Whitney while Whitney was going at Lindsay because she wants to just try to mesh together a group of people that don't fucking hate her. And I get it. But it's just annoying to watch. And that's what this apology was. This apology was not, oh, I feel really bad. This was not genuine. This was nothing. She doesn't give a fuck about Danielle, but for the show and for her life moving forward, she wouldn't hate the fact that Danielle thinks that they're friends because Danielle is easily flippant. You can just immediately mold her into a good friend for the show who may be able
Starting point is 00:35:15 to protect you against the Lindsay or at least be cannon fodder. That's all she's trying to do. She doesn't give a fuck about Danielle. That's a good point. I didn't even see that. I think it was too frustrated. But yeah, I 100% believe that. And I think to add to that theory, look how she's talking to everybody. You're right. Like she's not trying to ruffle feathers anywhere except for Kyle. Baby voice the whole fucking time. Baby voice and that weird.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Then when she's bitching to Kyle, it's just all fucking like whiny. God, I can't listen to go man to talk anymore. I can't either. And she's literally smirking the entire time she's talking about Kyle. And when she starts to get into the details where she's talking about, you know,
Starting point is 00:35:53 I got on good authority that Kyle had sex with somebody, because I heard from a friend who told me it was 100% true from her friend. It was a friend of a friend of a friend. But she said it was 100% true. Yeah, sure. Like, dude, okay, I'll play devil's advocate. Could I believe that happened? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:11 Totally. But we don't give a fun. But you got to do better than that. You can't just throw that out there. And that, once again, all you're trying to do is highlight what a piece of shit Kyle is and take no accountability for your part in this marriage falling apart. We watched the whole season. In the beginning of the season, it was, it's just a month.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I'm excited to figure this out. And you want to blame him not hanging out with you the night before you're moving out. You want to use that to say that was the turning point. After that, everything felt different. I just couldn't do it. No, it makes total sense you didn't want to do that. You're still stuck on him bringing strangers back to the apartment. Like any of us give a fuck, I don't care if he brought 10 strangers back here.
Starting point is 00:36:50 The neighbors care. That base was loud. It was vibrating their roots. Shut up. We don't care. Yeah. Yeah. Like, what's the point? I don't, she is trying to find little things to be like, this is why. And that's why. And I, you know what? I can clean up the lease thing real quick because, you know, I got the year lease. And I was like, I was still excited to move forward. But then you brought strangers back and you didn't hang out with me the night before I was leaving you. And I have a problem with that. So after that, I was like, I'm pretty much done. I love the towing of the line too, where after that night, I just, something awoke in me and I realized this wasn't for me.
Starting point is 00:37:27 So that year least made tons of sense. But also, Kyle, aren't you much happier with me out of there? Didn't I do you a favor by moving? I like, okay. Yeah. This is a really funny line to toe. I love the fact that you're trying to do this. But she's also just like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:42 She's very close, very, very close to basically saying the words that Kyle pushed her to West. Like I'm waiting for it. Yeah. It's going to come at some point, but she is really close to that. She's been circling that for a long time. I know she's going to say it at some point. I just can't wait for it. It's coming.
Starting point is 00:38:01 I mean, that's what she's inferring with all of these comments. And like, if you put everything together over these five parts between Summerhouse and this, it's going directly to that point. Everything's pointing to I did this because of you. And that was the goal this season was. this all happened because of you, Kyle. Yeah. But it's funny because like when we're picking through the things that have happened,
Starting point is 00:38:27 she has a rebuttal. She always, I said this last week. She has a counter for everything. If somebody calls her out, even if Kyle's not involved in the conversation, she circles it back to Kyle somehow. Yep.
Starting point is 00:38:39 And as we're like dissecting their marriage and the, the tumultuous road to get to this exact point, she's naming certain things because the sex thing comes up. And I guess they had sex three times in like four years or something like that. She's talking about the stuff that he wasn't doing that made her feel objectified, which could very well be true. Like that I don't have a problem with it. You're like, I wasn't feeling it.
Starting point is 00:39:04 He wasn't courting me. No foreplay, no this, no that. Okay, fine. But the way that she uses Kyle working to just like throw him under the bus for everything. Yes, you can work too much And Kyle probably did work too much But at the same time, and like that takes us to the DJ thing as well,
Starting point is 00:39:24 he's paying for everything. He's providing everything. So like, yes, I agree. There's a middle ground of like he's working too much. But I feel like we don't even say that, yeah, he was working his ass off for us. He was just, he never cared. He was always doing this, always doing that.
Starting point is 00:39:41 It's like, I just, I don't know. It feels flimsy when there's an excuse for, every single thing. When people ask Amanda anything about her role in anything, it somehow circles back to Kyle. And I can't believe that we actually are discussing the DJ thing again. Again, this is like the 20th time on camera in the last year that we've discussed the DJ thing. Nothing new comes of it. It's all bullshit. It doesn't fucking matter. And going deeper into Kyle trying to rationalize what was going on. You know, Amanda needed this. I was doing this.
Starting point is 00:40:18 I paid for all the vacations. I set all of that up. I'm like, I don't care. I'm so done with this. And they're still doing the same thing. And thank God, Georgina steps.
Starting point is 00:40:27 And it says something that we've all said that other people in Summerhouse have said, you guys just marry the wrong people. Like we, I imagine other people sitting around and the reason why they didn't interject during any of this, it's because they're tired of it. They've been on one season of this show. We've been watching Summerhouse for years when they have this whole discussion over and over and over again.
Starting point is 00:40:47 We had to do the summer house reunion. They're all done with it. Obviously, with West and everything, it gave them a little bit more energy. But by the point that it gets to in this reunion, I don't blame anybody for not stepping enough. Like, are we almost done? Are we done with this? Like, you guys are still going?
Starting point is 00:41:02 That's never going to work. You guys are still arguing, but you're separated. We talk about their divorce. Like Kyle wants to divorce, but he has, you know, stipulations and it has to do with the dog and I have to get my stuff out of the apartment. Whatever. I don't care. I just simply do not care anymore.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Please divorce and move on and hopefully Amanda goes away and we can act like none of this happens. That would be ideal for me. Same because I can't watch this again. I really can't. I'm so over them both. And I do think that we watched Amanda kind of have free reign this reunion, which I thought was just kind of wild. Bullshit. Oh, that was the thing that I was saying.
Starting point is 00:41:41 Yeah, we heard all we heard leading up to this that Amanda. had a terrible showing. If you hated her at the summer house reunion, you're going to hate her now. They gave her room to move around. They gave her every pass in the book. She talked way more than she's ever talked to the summer house reunion. Nothing bad of it.
Starting point is 00:41:58 Nothing bad happens at all. No one clocked her. It was annoying. I think that's what happened because she had the summer house reunion to warm up. She had a three-parter where she got roasted, kind of. And then she came into this one actually prepared. Yeah, lightly roasted. It wasn't really that bad.
Starting point is 00:42:17 And now she has a game plan. And now she's not stoned, I guess. So she's able to execute that game plan. I don't know. And also, funny side note, we are both aware that beta blockers are not a psychedelic drug. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:33 People are like, guys, beta blockers don't make, we know. We're aware. We know. We get it. That does play into her not having emotions at the reunion. That's all.
Starting point is 00:42:41 But people like, guys, just not mushrooms. We know. We don't. We got it. God, we have so many questions I'm looking at right now. It's so funny. They're all the same, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:42:53 But I did say, like, in the questions that we didn't have a lot to discuss, so we'll read a bunch. And then I realized everybody's going to be asking the same question. Yep, more than likely. Oh, God. First one up here from Lindsay Bucks. Did you guys catch Owen calling of a fucking idiot after calling Lindsay a bitch? Yes. Multiple times.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Yep. he sucks he really does suck he's a fucking loser it's like he's the guy at a Halloween party that doesn't dress up in a costume because he's too cool uh from shavon beham in my opinion firing katie deluca for less ties to Amanda and so she has less supporting in the city reunion support uh do not don't you dare ever disparage katie deluca like that yeah we are this is a katie deluca podcast yeah exclusively we're actually dropping every show and we're just going to talk about her life.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Yep. From the Deirdreau Connor 8, does Lindsay's shouting show that she's intimidated by Kenny? No, I don't think so necessarily, but I do think the she's respect. I think she respects Kenny and she understands what that could bring to the show.
Starting point is 00:44:05 That's the one thing about Lindsay. She always does classify things for show versus real life and I think she sees that. Yeah, I think that's, mutual respect between the two. I think that's why we're able to see them go back and forth and kind of dig at each other and then make a joke at the end of it, which we love.
Starting point is 00:44:20 So I think it's a, she sees a formidable foe. And she likes that. Ney Chante, do you find it weird? Amanda brings up these rumors of Kyle, but never any evidence. I do.
Starting point is 00:44:35 I do. Very weird. If we had, if we cared more and we had more energy, I think we would focus as a whole, not just steal and I. I think we would all. all really focus on that, but I think we're just so
Starting point is 00:44:45 done. Everybody's done with Amanda. From Boladamo, how should production cover parenthood without becoming like the Valley? This is a good question because it's all about the cast. These people are seemingly cool and have their lives together versus the people on the Valley that are losers
Starting point is 00:45:03 and assholes and I don't care about them. So I think they'll be fine. I think this is a cast problem and I think that they will be completely fine. I'm actually, I'm putting Danielle well above the cast of the Valley. So that just goes to show you what I think. Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree. I think that this cast, they've already set themselves up for success. Like, some of them have kids.
Starting point is 00:45:29 And yet it wasn't like a dark and dreary season in regards to. And they're not losers. Right. I think that the big thing is, like you said, it's a cast issue more than anything. And I don't see this cast taking the same route or the show taking the same route as the Valley. Yeah. I love when somebody sends in like 15 different messages and then says the word limitations on this is tough.
Starting point is 00:45:54 I respect that. So I'm going to try my best to read through this one and figure out the, because they all come in at different times. But from Rebecca Kaiser Pa or PA, while I think Kyle isn't great, I feel like he's being too nice to Amanda. Amanda makes these, uh-oh. Amanda makes these insinuations like the divorce and his quote unquote demands,
Starting point is 00:46:16 which Amanda keeps discussing the recent infidelity to feel less guilty about being with West. When Kyle clarified, seemed reasonable on his part to add to the divorce. I definitely read that out of order. I get the general gist of what you're saying. Amanda's passing the buck. That's all we're doing here. She just keeps pointing the finger at Kyle saying that he's such a terrible husband, that what she did isn't really that bad.
Starting point is 00:46:40 And I don't really want to talk about West. I'm just going to give you one word answers about that because I don't want to jinx it. And it's already probably terrible. And he's definitely hooking up with other girls. Yep. B-man, Graham 0727, can Lindsay and Danielle admit they just don't like each other? That would be great. That would be fantastic.
Starting point is 00:46:58 Valpo 37 doesn't irritate you too when Amanda smirks every time someone reads Kyle to filth. Yeah. I think it's crazy that she sits there and talks about this whole thing, smirking. But that just shows you what her intention is. it's not to say this is why and I'm very sad about it. It's like ha, got you bitch. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:47:22 From baby colp. Don't you think Amanda has had enough bashing? I think she needs time. Look, we need time away from Amanda, but she has not gotten bashed. There's bashing online and bashing on the reunion are two different things. So if you meet online, sure, I don't care about Amanda anymore. No reason to bash her.
Starting point is 00:47:39 But she has not gotten bashed at these reunions. no not even close she has gotten through this so scot-free considering what she did so yeah no i i don't think she's no no uh carly bodos not a question but are you guys planning on covering house of stasi also tour again k by i don't know what that last part means do you know what that means uh yeah oh oh go on live shows yeah we're we're planning on it's something out yeah yeah There's a lot of things going on on our part. But yeah, I would love to cover Hal Sastasi. I actually meant to look up when that even starts
Starting point is 00:48:19 because I know Ultimate Girls trip starts next week, so I know we're plugging and playing different things, but it's Hulu, so I imagine they'll drop everything at one time because Hulu's stupid. We'll figure that one out, but I know that's going to be pretty Bravo-centric, so we'll definitely look into it.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yeah, oh, here we go. This is a go one. Lindsay L-30. this is something that Dev points out a lot. Do you feel like Amanda talks differently since dating West? Go birds. Yes, go birds. And yeah, I do.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I think she went from being like, I don't know, having emotions when talking about things to a certain extent to just having that like nonchalant, sarcastic like yeah, yeah, bro. Which doesn't make any sense unless you put together that she's been hanging around West a lot and West's friends a lot. Yeah, she's emulating him. It's pretty obvious. Even her fashion now. If you watch or see her stories of late or anything she's posted within the past six months, she's completely morphed into like one of West's buddies. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:49:27 I'm going to save that specific one until the end because a lot of people ask that, but that seems like an ending question. I love this one from KWP 5015. Why not just call this the summer house reunion where a man. that wasn't benzode out. Okay. Allegedly. I think I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Yeah, allegedly. Well, maybe not. Who knows? For Martina Ramsack, did you also kind of like Danielle this episode, or am I going crazy? You're going crazy.
Starting point is 00:49:57 You're going crazy, I think. Yeah. I can't even see a world in which she's likable. But maybe that's just me. Who knows? I guess we'll just end it on this one because a lot of people asked it anyway. I'm going to pick Ryan though.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Ryan Stomeman 83. What do you think the cast will look like for season two? Everybody there. Yep. Everybody there. That stage plus Carl and Katie DeLuca maybe. And Katie DeLuca maybe. If there's any justice in this world, Katie DeLuca is on that cast.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Yeah, I agree with that. You know me. I agree with that. But yeah, it's literally run it back plus Carl plus Katie DeLuca. Yep. And maybe another friend of. Yeah, yeah, someone we don't know. Yeah, I would bet a shit ton of money and babies,
Starting point is 00:50:46 but I'd bet a shit ton of money that Amanda's back. And I would bet even more money that Lindsay is going to be one of the leaders in her redemption arc. Yep, for sure. And she's going to blame West for all of it. And Amanda's not going to take any agency over it. You fell under West's spell. It's not your fault.
Starting point is 00:51:07 Yep. You made a mistake. Yeah, it's going to happen. For sure. Clock it. But. Clock it. Clock it.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Scotty does that now. Oh, Jesus. Does you? Yeah, it's really funny. Okay, guys. At least we can get a break for a little while on the Kyle and Amanda stuff. At least, at least a few weeks. Something's going to come up, unfortunately.
Starting point is 00:51:31 West is probably going to get a TV show and that's going to reignite everything. But, hey, time will tell. But that's all I go. You got anything else? We are now officially out of your goots. Oh, yeah. I like that. Yep.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Out of your goots. Brof bros are out of here. Brov bro. I got it. That's our show. Brof bros are out of your goots. Good. Good.
