Episode Date: September 11, 2026

What's up bros? What a season we had in NYC and what a finish this was. Clearly the main focus is central around Ariana's love dilemma but there's so much more to this show and what makes it good. Eve...ryone has differing opinions based on their outlook and friendships but somehow it all comes together in a beautiful incredibly messy melting pot. We're pumped for the reunion and you should be too! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This season finale, solidifies this as quite possibly the best Bravo show premiere, or not premiere, but new show in a decade. I mean, this is better than Soho. And that's hard for me to say, because that's our baby. This show is better than Southern Hospitality.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Yeah, this has the potential to be a big cultural impact show. I feel like you don't really get those feelings. You're not really locked in as much as you are on each person and what's going on in their lives. And it's never as carefree and fun as it used. to be. I feel like we went through a whole cycle post good VPR into, well, you know what? That's
Starting point is 00:01:07 serviceable. That's good. We didn't think we could get a show like this back on TV, let alone back on Bravo, and here we are. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. It will be on... Oh man, it's 8 o'clock. And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Hi, I'm karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Bravo Bros. Good evening, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Rob Bros, your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody. For whoever wants to listen, I am your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only next Goots. NYC. What's up, dude? PHL.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Next up, pHL. There we go. There we go. That works out well. I wonder if you have the same feeling. Would I watch these episodes, and I guess it goes for in the city as well, New York only. ever looks appealing to me when it's like the fall or winter. I'm out. I don't even like my own city in the summer. I don't even like my own city in the summer. It's too hot. There's too much going on. It stinks of trash. I definitely don't like New York in the summer. But every time I see it, especially around Christmas, I get the appeal. I understand it. I would do the opposite. I would stay in New York for the winter and then go to, I wouldn't go to Florida.
Starting point is 00:02:25 And then summer in the Hamptons. No, summer at the Jersey short. Summer down wild look again. No, I agree. I love New York in the fall and the winter for like a long weekend, though. Brooks used to live there in Brooklyn, if you remember. I loved visiting them. Brooks lived in Brooklyn. And the people that just don't think that you actually have a brother and they're just making it up,
Starting point is 00:02:50 like Brooks lived in Brooklyn. Yeah, Brooks did. He lived in Sunset Park. Yeah. But Stone lives in Brooklyn. Stone has probably played baseball. fall in a place that has rock in. I would imagine Rockford or something.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I have no idea. But yeah, they're that real name. Quarry Town. Stone is, yeah, that's where he lives. But what I was saying was, yes, I agree with you. But when I would go visit him like three days max, three days and I'm like, get me the fuck out of here. I can't do this. We do the same thing with him in, in L.A. too, actually.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Yeah, honestly. Yeah. But I will say, I will say, I was anti-ex. I will say, I was anti-ex. LA until we stayed in his neighborhood. Los Felis. I like his neighborhoods. Yeah, that was a cool spot.
Starting point is 00:03:39 I actually really enjoyed that. I'll give him credit there. And it's a part of it was cool. Sounds like a soft launch. And I'm announcing I'm headed out to LA. Would that make us bi coastal? Like us by coast? I think that would.
Starting point is 00:03:50 I think so. Yeah. Because bi coastal by proxy, because you're talking to me coast to coast. Oh, we're both. I see what you're saying. If I live in LA. And time travelers.
Starting point is 00:03:58 times relative so yeah you know times relative do you know that satellites if they're high enough they're one second faster than clocks on earth wow yeah so they have to set them uh with different software to make sure they don't get ahead because the pull of gravity slows down the rate of time that's what happens in interstellar when they go to gargantua and they are like seven years was like one hour or whatever yeah i see that somebody posts that like all the time it's only been, I guess that movie came out in 2011 or 2014, I don't remember what it was, but it's only been like
Starting point is 00:04:34 three or four weeks or something on that planet. I thought it was like three days. I saw that same one. I guess depending on when you see the meme, it's going to change as well. But yeah, time dilation is, if we want to get into space talk, one of my, we're not going to, but one of my favorite phenomenons.
Starting point is 00:04:50 It's fucking wild. That time literally passes differently depending on where you are, not on Earth, because we all the same gravity, but elsewhere, it's pretty fucking nuts. The other thing, guys, this is important, okay, because I heard actually multiple people say this within the past like two weeks, which is strange. We are not stuck to the earth because the earth is spinning.
Starting point is 00:05:14 That's not where our gravity comes from. It's the mass of the earth, okay? You can get gravity from spin. That's not what we're doing here. It's because the earth is big and it pulls us in. It's a lot of mass. That's your space back from now. Now wind comes from the sun heating and cooling the air around the earth, causing it to moon.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Sometimes it does it too much and that's where we get tornadoes. Yep. Well, no, that's not exactly it. It's when hot and cold air needs. Nope, just agree. Just the creek. Yeah, you are correct. And don't get me started on Super El Nino that's headed our way to butt fuck us all through winter.
Starting point is 00:05:52 It's going to be fine. Yeah, thanks a lot, moon. Everything's what? I see what you do. I said, thanks a lot, moons. What? A lot of people can blame different like objects and space and planets and stuff for their behavior. But you're anti-astrology, pal. Yeah. Astronomy. Sorry. Yeah. Unless it suits me that. That I'm, then I'm positive. I'm pro.
Starting point is 00:06:11 I'm okay with that. Just selective astrologer. That's funny. Yeah, it's because Mercury is in retrograde and someone else tries to use and just say that's fucking stupid. You're stupid. Yeah. Yeah, everyone knows if you was going to say something. I was going to tie this into Ariana. I really don't. I think you know which way I was going to go with that one. I had a feeling. But any who. Speaking of things that are fake. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Speak of. Got him. Got him. Yeah. Look. I mean, do I think she's a bad person still? No, I don't. Do I think that she like needs to clean it the fuck up?
Starting point is 00:06:47 Yes, absolutely. That was too messy. Way too messy. And watching the way that it ends was just baffling. Go ahead. I know. It is really funny. But I think.
Starting point is 00:06:57 people get too lost and all of it like oh she's she's leading Liam on or Liam's doing the wrong thing like he sees the writing on the wall he needs to excuse himself I still think her biggest transgression is being involved with Hudson still like that that's the
Starting point is 00:07:13 worst one it's like hey it gets glossed over I'm completely fine like I fully understand the appeal of Charlie I understand the appeal of Liam I understand wanting not even pitting them against each other but you are indirectly and I don't think you mean to but you are and you have to kind of come to terms with that.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Why the Hudson still being involved is the one that I'm like, get away with this guy. He showed up and I can't confirm this because I couldn't really tell. But he showed up for the first time in what? Dude, that leather jacket looks like it. It's never been off a hanger in its life. It was so boxy.
Starting point is 00:07:44 It was crazy. But I can't confirm because of the way that the lighting was. I think he had leather pants on too. I think he came full leather. No, he had the leather. No, I think he had jeans on.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Yeah. but I really wanted to wish. He would, though. He would double up on leather. That sounds like a Hudson move because he's a douche bag. Yeah, I agree. And I think that gets glossed over in this whole thing. It's like, oh, they had, you know, they dated for 10 years.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Like, no, this guy is a fucking loser. Like, why is he a part of the equation? Charlie, like you said, makes sense. It's the bad boy, the forbidden fruit. Ooh, this is kind of fun. It's kind of sneaky fun. Liam is the obvious like, oh, yeah, that's a great dude. You should probably date that guy.
Starting point is 00:08:23 But you're coming off a 10-year relationship. You're 24 in New York City. and you're going to fuck some things up. That happens. Hudson, what do you mean? He's a billionaire, but he's a nepo billionaire.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Yeah, that's not the same. He's not Mr. Saxby. He's not Signor, Zaxby's. But I do wonder, do you wonder if, I don't even know where I'm going with us,
Starting point is 00:08:46 but is Arianna doing the forbidden fruit thing, like tying it further into Catholicism and Christianity? I can only hope. God, I can only hope she leans full throttle into crazy religion. That ending, dude, I never jump at the gun, but could not have seen that coming.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Like everything else, it's the funny as outcome, though. It was my favorite. Like, literally the best possible thing that could have happened was her going, I thought God put us together for me to save him. You stop it right now. You knock it off. You can't be fucking serious. Is that to, here's what I think it is. I think she feels dumb. And she's like, I'm going to use the Bible. People do it all the time.
Starting point is 00:09:28 People do stupid shit and they go, ah, yeah, a Bible or whatever. By the way, just this is just like years of experience, you know, a lot of movie watching and TV watching too. But the people who get only God can judge me tattooed all their bodies. Typically aren't like actually Christians or God-fearing people.
Starting point is 00:09:46 They do it to be douchebags for the most part, at least in my experience. So I think that was very funny. She's like, he got a tattered on his body. Like that was so hot and so Catholic. I'm like, well, what? That was so, I'm going to tattoo this on my body so I can fuck you later.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Like that's the funny thing looking back now, like watching it all play out. Obviously, when you're in the thick of it, it's different. You know, you look past red flags. Like, and you can say that for a lot of people, you know, obviously there's mixed opinions about Liam and how we handle things. We talked about it already. Like, I get it. Like, you get caught up in something. You want it to be working.
Starting point is 00:10:24 You know it's not working. But you keep telling all your friends to show. got up and stopped telling you that's not going to work because you think it's going to work. So you keep doing it. You get burnt. Same thing with Charlie and Ariana. Ariana and her head. She's like,
Starting point is 00:10:35 I can save him. I can be his saving grace. By the Lord himself, I will get this man through the woods. What the fuck? He burned me. How did that happen? At no point was the guy like not a douchebag.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Like, yeah, he's charming as shit. But like, come on. You can't. There's something to be said, though. Look, she got out of a 10-year relationship and tried to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:11:01 And she wanted some life lessons. And she got her life lessons in a very short amount of time. She got a whole lifetime of life lessons based on her own actions and her decisions. But again, like there's no malice here. It's not like she did anything necessarily wrong. We're just watching it on TV. It's just it's one of those things that falls under the category of if it wasn't on TV and you heard about it, you're like, oh, that's kind of messy and move on with your life. But because it's on TV, it's highly scrutinized.
Starting point is 00:11:26 and it's under a magnifying glass. People have to, for whatever reason, end up on one side of the street. Like, oh, yeah, she was mean and she did this on. Like, who cares? It doesn't really impact your life. Leave them alone. And it's highly entertaining. That's the best part for us.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Let's focus on that. She needs to clean it up, for sure. Yes, she was an asshole, for sure. She's 24. It's not the end of the world. What it does, though, and this is, like, a very real thing. And, like, I don't want to draw comparisons, and I'm not. but there are going to be people out there that are going to be like, well, you know, her mom's kind of a mess too.
Starting point is 00:12:00 And that's going to start creeping in now that she's being a little wishy-washy with the dudes. But again, like I think the biggest thing, and I saw a couple idiots saying stuff like this, I do not care that she was bopping around having fun with different dudes. That's, I have no issue with that whatsoever. Live your life. Go have some fun. You're in a 10-year relationship. Mix it up. The problem is you're getting.
Starting point is 00:12:24 emotionally invested in all of them. Pick one and don't lead them all on. And she led all of them, even Hudson, who I thought was out of the picture. And then he's like, hold my hand. No, hold my hand. No, hold my head. Fine. Stop it.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Fine. Yeah, we'll just do that. And I'll answer all of your text messages, no matter when they come in. No matter who I'm with. It doesn't really matter. You know, it's actually funny, too, is the other thing that really bothers me is people online talking about Charlie. And you can tell they're not really bought into the show yet.
Starting point is 00:12:52 And they keep classifying Charlie as, like a wannabe, Jacks Taylor. And look, I get it. A lot of people can make those comparisons. And you'd be right to do so because of what he brought to VPR versus like Charlie. It's like, yes, it is probably one of the best villains that we've had since Jacks Taylor, perfectly fine to make that comparison. But what that tells me is just you have never moved on and you don't watch new shows.
Starting point is 00:13:15 You just sit back and watch old reruns of VPR, which everybody does. I mean, we all do it. But you're allowed to move on and enjoy new things. You don't have to always be living in the past. So I want those people to move on with their lives and actually enjoy something because it's been a very long time, like you said, since we've had a good show like this that is very captivating, very entertaining, very fun. You don't know what's going to happen next.
Starting point is 00:13:36 And you are actually looking forward to see what bad decisions are going to happen the next week. Yeah, and to the Jacks Taylor comparison, like you can compare it only in the realm of, yes, they're both good TV villains. As far as like personality goes, yeah, I guess you could also be like somewhat narcissistic and sociopathic. But the intelligence factor, they're two different ends of the spectrum.
Starting point is 00:13:59 Like Charlie is a smart dude. Jacks is a fucking idiot and he always was. Charlie, it's a different style. It's a little more nuanced. The interesting thing is it's in your face, but because he's so charming, he's able to kind of weasel's way back and forth. He gets people to apologize.
Starting point is 00:14:17 He gets people to kind of come back on his team. That's a fun villain. Is he a good guy? no, high-sex year-other. He's an irredeemable piece of shit. But he's gold for TV. And as long as we stay away from,
Starting point is 00:14:31 you know, serious infractions, crypto torture houses, anything that Jacks Taylor did when he got off screen, I'm 100% fine with Charlie on our screens for the next 20 fucking years. He's great.
Starting point is 00:14:45 He is the wheel that turns this show, whether you like it or not. That's what he does. And he does it extremely well. And the reason it works so well is because so many people out here are watching know he's a piece of shit and yet he still kind of charms you as you watch it you get it you understand what his pull is and that's why he's so good i hate him i think he's a piece of shit he's a phenomenal
Starting point is 00:15:11 phenomenal tv star and i will never say otherwise yeah i love them absolutely love him for what he brings on the TV screen. They also might love them in real life. So we'll see how that goes. We'll love Jesse from the Valley. So, you know. It's true. Yeah, I just love a good douchebag on TV.
Starting point is 00:15:31 There's nothing like it. No, I agree. But let's jump into this episode. We had a lot to dig through. And I got, I really hope they get a 16 to 18 run next year. I know careful what you wish for. But like, let's see if they can do it. I think they've earned the right after this season to have a full go.
Starting point is 00:15:47 But we start out. And obviously the centerpiece here is still Liam and Ariana. It's funny to me because we talked a lot about the dog walk, right? There is a different angle here because, no, I don't think it's Liam's the problem, but it does make a statement. And I don't think if you'd gone to the party at Charlie's, I don't think that would have changed any of the outcomes. But what it does do, it gives Ariana a quicker out to be like,
Starting point is 00:16:15 they want to come hang out with me. He's like me, go over to Charlie's house. It's like, fuck this guy. And what it does is now somehow in this bizarre world, it's Liam's fault, according to multiple people. That's his fault. He went home and walked the dogs. What a fucking weirdo.
Starting point is 00:16:29 By the way, didn't touch Charlie's wiener anything, which all that means, like the minute she says that, I'm like, oh, you hooked up. You guys made out. Yep. Like, you didn't touch his dick, but you did something. That's what that means. And he did the cross thing. And did you notice when she did the, what is it, Father, Son, Holy Spirit?
Starting point is 00:16:45 You know what she had the other time she did that? What? Oh, yeah, when she was walking in the street. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely noticed that one.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Yeah. I think it's, look, obviously it's Ariana. It's a very, very tough look when you've got a guy walking your dogs, which I still want to know who asked. It sounds more and more like it was Liam that offered to do it. Like, hey, you go hang out. I'll go walk your dogs, which nice guy. That is, it is kind of a weird move in my opinion, because you know what's going on with
Starting point is 00:17:17 Charlie and Ariana that there's flirting going on there. So why would you do that? So I don't know. She's into him. She was like, I'm going to let her go. It didn't work though. Not at all.
Starting point is 00:17:27 She ended up staying there. But that there's been like multiple times. And that's where I just cut it off. Like after that night, I'm done with it. I no longer feel bad for you because you do know what you're doing and you're kind of doing it to yourself at this point. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:17:41 yes, Ariana is still at fault. But at some point it does turn into Liam's fault. It happens right around that night. You give it one last ditch effort and you. say, hey, yeah, I don't really feel like going to hang out with Charlie's. I'll go walk your dog. And you see it's a little bit of bait. She didn't take the bait.
Starting point is 00:17:55 And not only did she not take the bait, Ava and Shy left. And she's still hung out there for a lot of time after. We don't know exactly how much time. And clearly they made out. That's what we got from all of that confessional. So after that, you should be sitting down like, wow, things have been getting really fucking weird. We go up to the ski trip.
Starting point is 00:18:12 I tell her, I love her at the 6 o'clock in the morning. It's very weird. She doesn't really respond to it. She's very weird and distant for the rest. of the trip. Then this happens. This is over. I got to stop doing this to myself.
Starting point is 00:18:22 And instead, he just keeps coming back for more. He's a glutton for punishment. So that's where, like, right after that, I'm like, I don't feel bad for you anymore. You know what's going on. You for some reason can't pull yourself out of the trap. You think things are going to change. If I'm your friends and when we see later in the episode, you see Jackson and Kendall, I think they're fed up.
Starting point is 00:18:40 I think that when we get them off camera and he's talking to somebody like Jackson, he's just going on nonstop about Ariana. and then bringing in all of the other things that are going on. I think Jackson's fed up. Hence why he threw a lemon at his face. Like, fuck off. Stop talking to this girl. So I imagine putting myself in Jackson's shoes and hearing him talk about it.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Like, they've given up. They're like, dude, fucking back off just enough. Like you got to cut your losses at this point. And he keeps going back and keeps going back. So I'd be annoyed with him too. So that's kind of where I'm cutting it off is right there after that. And finding out the information, again, not really confirmation, but enough confirmation for me that he offered. and he dangled that fruit like, hey, you can come with me to walk the dogs.
Starting point is 00:19:19 We don't have to go. Oh, you're going to Charlie still. Oh, and you're staying in Charlie's. And it was a failed test, a miserably failed test. That's where it has to end. So any time after this, you're just doing it to yourself. I completely understand where you're coming from. I do disagree only from like a realistic standpoint.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Because hindsight, yeah, for sure. Like that's what he should have done. But we talked about it earlier. Like, probably most of us have been in a situation where it's like you're way more into a person than they are into you. But they keep leaving a couple of breadcrumbs. They burn you. But then they leave another breadcrum. You're like, ooh, maybe.
Starting point is 00:19:54 So yes, you're totally right. The writing was quite clearly on the wall. But I do think from a real life standpoint, it's understandable how people can get caught up in this shit. Sure. Lord knows I had in the past. Yeah, I just think there's a difference between, yeah, I understand it. It doesn't mean I support it. No, that's my point.
Starting point is 00:20:14 It's like more so that like it happens. I get that it happens. It probably could have happened to most of us, but watching it third party, watching the whole thing. It's like, oh, dude, come on,
Starting point is 00:20:25 it's right there. Like we all see it. But when you're in it, that's my only thing. So I do get it. And if people are like kind of saying that he should have known, and it's his own fault,
Starting point is 00:20:33 I'm not going to go against you. Like, I'm not going to say that you're wrong. I'm just more looking at it like, yeah, that sucks. That was a tough one. You lost that one.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I wish you'd figure it out. earlier. There's still a sliver of that sucks when it comes to this. Thereafter, when we talk about Christmas Eve, that's where I'm like, no, fuck off. See, that's where I think totally disagree. Too much. She's still willing to go to that. Like, that's where I'm completely like that's ariana.
Starting point is 00:20:58 After the Charlie thing. Yes, it is Ariana still. Look, that's the thing too. Do I think she did anything like egregiously wrong? No, I don't fucking care. She's 24 years old. Let her go live her life. He needs to understand at some point, like after the.
Starting point is 00:21:12 the Charlie situation and you get confirmation that they kissed while you're crying. It's like, okay, I'm not giving this person a chance again. And if you go to your friends afterwards and you're like, hey, yeah. So Arianna still come over for Christmas Eve. Any of our friends, I would bop them in the head. Nope, you're not doing it. Enough of that. So that's where it's like I understand.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Because they would still do it. No. Until you know, right. Until the person actually knows, it doesn't matter. Yeah, but there's a difference between understanding it and then at the level that the severity it gets by Christmas Eve. It's like, dude, I don't even want to fucking hear about it anymore. Oh, the friends for sure. Yeah, 100%. Yes. And I get Jackson and Kendall being like, fuck this. This is a stupid amount. I'm more saying from the individual themselves. Yes, I'm sure Liam was like,
Starting point is 00:21:57 this is a bad idea. It's delusional. But she still wants to come for Christmas Eve. Maybe I could woo her. Like that's where I'm like, I think that a lot of people do that. Like, sure, but I think that when people are caught up and a delusion is is common. That's my only point. I'm not saying, he was right. I'm not saying the friends weren't annoyed. I'm not saying it was all well-founded. I'm just saying I can understand how you fall into that trap. And then hopefully, here's what's going to happen. This is when you can start questioning Liam. They're going to rekindle at some point. And that's when you have to put the big question mark out there where it's like, all right, dude, you've been burned once. Are you really going to enter this ring again? Are you really going to throw
Starting point is 00:22:40 your hat back in there? At least once. I lumped all of the burns into one big burn. It's just one big burn. But that's going to be interesting to see Shakeout because I do think it's going to happen. We know quite clearly she couldn't save Charlie. He's gone to the devil. We know that her and Hudson rekindled that has since fizzled. They are no longer a thing or potentially a thing.
Starting point is 00:23:05 So I would imagine given all of the spark. I know, dude, what the fuck? Why would you even? She's clearly trying. to find something. She's trying to figure out something. And we caught her in the middle of it. Like, that's what's going on. She's got a lot going on. It's great TV. I'm happy we caught her in the middle of it on camera. That's why this show is so fucking good. She's at the center of it.
Starting point is 00:23:27 But if you look at her life as a whole, her parents are fucking disaster. That's a nightmare. She's on this TV show. She's trying to figure out her own shit. Names like Henry VIII and Bloody Mary are still known today. This season on vulgar history were spilling the historical tea on the
Starting point is 00:27:44 messy Tudor era. We'll get into the Anne Boleyn of it all, figure out who really wrote Shakespeare's plays? Was Elizabeth really a virgin queen? And why was Henry the A's the fucking worst? Listen to vulgar history wherever you get podcasts. Everybody shush! William Shatner has something to say. Cat and Jethro box of oddities. The show examines weird things. What do you do when the woman you love dies? Well, of course you dig her up and you love. live with her. Aw. That is really mysterious.
Starting point is 00:28:18 The strange, the bizarre, the unexpected. Cat and Jethro, box of oddities. The box of oddities. Wherever you get your podcasts. Charlie's not Larry David. I get what he's saying with the Larry David comparison, but Larry David. The third curb reference that they've made in the last three weeks, too, which I love. It's making, I guess it's resurfacing amongst their generation.
Starting point is 00:28:42 It should. I mean, that show should be. in the Hall of Fame of TV shows. Fucking fantastic. But I can't give them that. I don't think it's the same thing. But Amira, you get to Amira and her mom, and she's just talking about she's the happiest she's been in a while.
Starting point is 00:28:58 It seems to me, I don't know if this is like a subliminal messaging here. She's the happy she's been in a long time. Is that due to distance from Charlie or is that just coincidental? I think it's a lot of things. It could be distance to Charlie, though. I don't know if she meant it like that, like if it was subliminal messaging, like, hey, I'm the happiest. I've been in a long time. You guys can see through this.
Starting point is 00:29:22 It's just because I've taken space from Charlie. I don't think that's how she meant it because I do think there's so many other things coming up with mirror. And we see that throughout this episode. Obviously, she wasn't at the end party because she was sick, which we saw for her shoot, which I appreciate too, because she showed up to work, actually work. The thing that got her where she is while she was deathly sick and killed it. And then she's like, yeah, I can't go to a fucking party. I'm way too sick to go to a party. I felt bad.
Starting point is 00:29:48 I wanted to see her there. But you know what? She's given us enough this season. I'm okay with her not being there. Brooks, on the other hand, we'll talk about it. I guess we don't even really have to talk about him because he doesn't do anything. It was just really funny watching him walk into the reunion when you see the clip from next week. And he doesn't like where he's sitting.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Why do you think you're sitting back there, Brooks? But for Amira, I think a lot of things are coming up Amira. I think she's getting a lot of opportunities. She's getting a lot of photos shoots. she's getting a lot of different fashion week stuff, like a lot of things along those lines within her industry. So I think she is genuinely happy and she's very comfortable with Kevin. I mean,
Starting point is 00:30:20 we haven't heard a lot about their relationship and on a show like this. That's a good thing, probably. If you don't hear anything about the relationship, aside from Charlie infiltrating and having comments, that's a good thing. That means you are happy. Yeah, agreed.
Starting point is 00:30:31 And I think it's cool, you know, obviously especially today, in today's age, we hear a lot of really shitty stories. So it's really cool to hear her talk about her parents, how supportive they are and of everything that she's gone through. Like we don't get to hear like the happy shit a lot.
Starting point is 00:30:47 So I thought that was cool for her to highlight that. And everything should be coming up a mirror because she's a fucking rock star. But I forgot. And this is probably why she wasn't in Ultimate Girl's trip. Candy is on Broadway. As soon as I saw it was like, oh yeah, she's an Ann Juliet, which apparently is awesome. I want to go see it. But I would actually love to see what I'm still running.
Starting point is 00:31:07 I don't know. I'm sure it's still running, but maybe the different. shows here and there. Yeah, they probably have a different cast. I always forget how those run times work, especially in New York. It's all over the place. But I imagine she's not doing it anyway. And she said as much. I think she said it was like a three-week dinner or something like that. Okay. That would have been cool to go see her in it. But that's where she is. I, the more and more I see Riley on screen, because we get them talking, we get kind of a side-by-side scene between Candy and Riley. And we get Liam and Sima. Sima. C-Y-M-M-A.
Starting point is 00:31:40 his mom. The more and more I see Riley, the more and more it appears to me that she is going through a lot at home, and she's very insecure. I think that's why we get what we get on screen with her. And I'm hoping, because I think that she can contribute to this show, I'm hoping she gets more comfortable season three.
Starting point is 00:32:01 We saw her kind of come out of her shell a little bit towards the middle to the end of the season. You know, ski trip is good. So I'm hoping that she's able to work through that stuff because I do think that. there's a reality TV star in there. I just want her to be comfortable. Like the moment that it really hit was when she spoke Korean because that was cool.
Starting point is 00:32:19 And she did it so fast, like, okay, that's enough. I was like, oh, you're just really super shy. I think that's what's going on with everything. Yeah, it's something along those lines. I think what makes her very good and can make her very good in this show is she has very close ties to most of the cast. I mean, every interaction we see from pretty much everybody on the show. And I guess her iconic or marquee moment of the show.
Starting point is 00:32:40 this season was sitting down with shy of all people and saying I have friends with acquaintances in a non-mean way which is very impressive to watch but other than that yeah she's been a little checked out and I think there's more there and obviously you know she's a big enough name and she's close enough with everybody on the cast where yeah you throw her back in and she's not a brook situation where it's like I genuinely don't think you're ever going to bring anything to the show even when we're doing things at the end yeah even when we most he's done even when we get to the ends where everybody's kind of like running the B-Rour role of what's going on in their lives.
Starting point is 00:33:12 He's just still trying to figure out his clothing lines. Like, dude, even afterwards and you've got months to think about it, there's nothing else going on in your life. You might just be boring and off TV, and that's completely fine. Riley doesn't really fall into that category for me. I know there's more there. I think maybe it's comfortability.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Maybe there's something else going on that we don't know about. Maybe it really is Candy and Todd's breakup. Who knows? I don't know. I think it's enough for her to just kind of wait and see. Yeah, I think it's the funniest line, though, comes from candy. I didn't know people would care.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Pardon? You're a real housewife of Atlanta. Your candy burst. Of course people. Been on for a very long time to know people do care, even though you're not on the show anymore. You're also a powerhouse in the music industry. It's like you span multiple industries.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Like it makes a lot of sense that your divorce drums up some press. That was the funniest shit I think I've heard. But meanwhile, I like Sima, Syma, Liams' mom. Because he's like, you know, I thought, Suddance 50-50. She's like, well, like one in a million. She was in the industry
Starting point is 00:34:13 and she doesn't sugarcoat things. I actually appreciate that. And it does give you perspective on Liam a little bit because he does seem like one of those dudes that kind of has it all together. There's a different angle. He's one of those guys
Starting point is 00:34:25 that's good at everything. So he doesn't do anything 100%. He just kind of skates by being good at stuff, which is an interesting thing to kind of be like, oh, maybe that's why some of the things shook out the way they did this season. Maybe we need you to be 100% Liam all the way in.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Well, yeah, maybe that or also. I just mean in general. Yeah, no, I didn't think he was 100% in there. But I think it just gives a little bit more perspective on things just falling into his lap. I mean, Ariana kind of just fell into his lap. He was friends with Brooks, got on the show, started talking to Arianaana and within a week, she was right in his lap, literally and figuratively. So, yeah, I think maybe if,
Starting point is 00:35:07 anything, we could look at this as like a wake-up call. Like, hey, that's what I'm hoping. This didn't work out. These things will happen to you. Maybe they haven't happened to you so far and you're still young enough where it's not that big of a deal. But you might have to figure some things out and actually try hard. You're pushing 30, pal.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Yeah, pushing 30. Should have been an actor. You weren't an actor. What were you doing 25 years ago? I don't know. That was five. That was actually funny. But anyhow, we get Rowan, Charlie, and Ava.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Let me get a little shy and Ava update. this is where Charlie bothers me because shy's harmless he clearly really likes Ava it was such a long shot for that to happen and I was like you know Shia was telling like ooh I macked on Ava I was like don't fucking burn him like that's not fair
Starting point is 00:35:53 like gentle Charlie like just be I don't know what that was didn't care for that but I think he just talks like that like I don't think I really you never know with Charlie like it could have easily been a dig like hey let me just say something that he said to me me and like not the right vernacular. And I've thought about this.
Starting point is 00:36:10 And I know it's going to be delivered weird and you're going to feel weird about it. But I want to see what your reaction is and maybe it could even go as far as I actually like shy and I want to see if you like him. So maybe if he said something that was a little off putting, are you going to overlook that? And she did. So that's good. I, you never know what you're going to get with Charlie. You never really know his true intentions.
Starting point is 00:36:30 But I do think genuinely he just talks like that. Even though I don't even know if shy even said that. Shai could have said we made out last night. It was so much fun. I could see Shy saying that Charlie. That's the thing is they're all kind of an enigma because I could see shy being very respectful about it to Charlie. And then Charlie spinning it. I could also see shy delivering this news to Charlie in Charlie's voice so that Charlie understands what he's saying.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Either way, it doesn't really matter at the end of the day because it's all about how Ava takes it. She took it well enough and that's all the matters. Yeah, it is. But they start talking about the Liam stuff. and it's like, well, why didn't Liam go to your house? He's like, I don't know. They went to walk the dogs. The cast response being identical to the audience response is a very tough look for Liam and hard to defend because they were like, wait, what?
Starting point is 00:37:22 More or less, all three people in that room, Charlie Rowan and Ava all looked at each other and said without saying, wow, what a cuck. He went and walked the dogs. Well, you went and hung out with a guy. guy that he's concerned that you might be into. Yeah. I feel like they were all waiting for the second piece of information, which would have been, logically speaking, and now Liam and Ariana are kind of done.
Starting point is 00:37:50 And they're not talking anymore. That's what you would think would happen. But that didn't come. And they're all just kind of sitting there open mouth. Like, I can't believe he did that. And to what ends? To get more upset about Charlie and Ariana? Does he want to have the upper hand in this relationship or quasi relationship, the early budding of a relationship, whatever you want to call it, whatever they've referred to it as?
Starting point is 00:38:13 It's just so perplexing. Like, that's a very weird boom. That doesn't make any sense to me. It doesn't make sense to the audience. It probably doesn't even make sense to Liam at this point. Yeah, honestly. It comes off that way. Like the fact that they had the literally the exact same response as all of us.
Starting point is 00:38:29 I was like, ooh. So it was that bad in person. It wasn't just a TV thing. Got it. But while this is going on, you get Gia talking to Juicy Joe. And I think Christian's a nice guy. I have no issues with Christian. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:45 He's been a stand-up dude every time he's been on TV, nothing to write home about. I fear for their relationship. Yeah. I don't know if it's going to go the distance, especially when Joe compares Christian to him. I'm like, well, that didn't pan out. him not wanting to be on TV. Gia wants that. She wants to be in the spotlight.
Starting point is 00:39:08 She's been in the spotlight. There's nothing wrong with that. That's what she grew up with. She wants to be a reality TV star. Go live your life, girl. I do not know if they're going to make it. And that's sad because he seems like a nice guy. I think they will.
Starting point is 00:39:20 I think they'll be fine. I think it's just a bit of a learning curve because we talked about it before. I mean, they've been dating for a few years, little growing pains. She's obviously in the spotlight, so to speak, or spotlight adjacent before this show. So I think that he kind of got used to that. Oh, wow, everybody knows who you are. You've got a podcast as well. There's a lot of things coming up.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Like, yeah, I'm just going to kind of stay out of the limelight a little bit. You can't really on a TV show where your significant other is one of the major factors in the show. And I like Gia. I really like her a lot. I think she's really stepping into her own and kind of figuring out where she is. And weirdly enough, and I would not condone this, but weirdly enough, be more like your mom on a show. Like, I do think you see a lot of ways, yeah, the cracks. When she's questioning things a little bit later, she's talking to Charlie or when she's talking to Liam at the end of the episode, a lot of times and a lot of things that she said along the way, I'm like, that sounds like Teresa.
Starting point is 00:40:11 That's a good lady in the train. Yeah, lady in the train. Very funny. Like the things that she does that I don't think are intentional, but just remind you of Teresa are comforting in a way. And obviously she was a great reality star and she still is. So there's still ways forward with Gia. I think with Christian, I think he'll figure it out. I think her talking to Juicy Joe is very funny too because you're like,
Starting point is 00:40:34 how did you handle it? Because you hated all the fucking cameras too. He's like, well, look, it's weird. I never really got used to it. And if you piss your pants,
Starting point is 00:40:41 they're going to show it. And they're going to show it on live TV. What does that mean? What kind of example is that? If you're probably abusive, they'll show that too. Immediately, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:40:49 wait a minute. Did he piss his pants on TV? I think Joe Gorka may have at one point, if I remember correctly, or at least made jokes about doing that. But I don't remember Juicy Joe ever doing it. But maybe he did. and they were really had to go after producers hard to get them to scrub the footage.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Oh, that'd be actually really funny. Very funny to be. But him pissing his pants. Yeah. But look, when we look back at Joe Judice, he was one of the best parts of Rone, or Rojee for a very long time. If Christian can just figure some things out, he doesn't have to be like Joe Judeyce, obviously, but he can get around it and he can love it.
Starting point is 00:41:24 And it seems like they're okay. So I think they'll be fine in the long run. Yeah, don't take after Joe Judey's because he was. is not a good husband by any means. He was actually huge asshole, but there was definitely moments that he was involved with in the early days of Roe and Jay. But we get to check in with Rowan a little bit, who's just kind of been the fun side quest,
Starting point is 00:41:45 I would say, of this season. You know, she's comic relief every once in a while. And I'm interested in her life, not just because Brooks Shields is her mom. She's kind of fascinating. She seems funny enough, yeah. Yeah, and she's,
Starting point is 00:41:55 she's quick, she's witty, all of those things. and, you know, obviously with the Brooks Shields of it all and her dad being like this mega producer, it's kind of cool to watch like, all right, well, what are you going to do in the industry? And she wants to do journalism. She said, I could go to entertainment journalism, I'm trying to do something else. I'm a booking producer right now.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Not much more to talk about. Just I've enjoyed the side quests of Rowan. I think she's a good addition to this show. Yeah, easing into the water, so to speak. Yeah, dipping a toe. But this is when Amira shoots for the Mary Claire, Mary Claire, Clary, Mary Claire. It's Mary Claire. Mary Claire cover.
Starting point is 00:42:34 First international cover, super cool, like an awesome. And the fact that she played her, she fought through an injury. Fuck yeah. That's what we like to see. That's kind of grit we respect around here. She's throwing up. She's probably just got to guess if she's pukin. She might be filled diarrhea there.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Like the fact that she's still doing it and posing and looking as amazing as she did. Hats off to you, Amira. That was not an easy shoot. And you pulled it. And you know what? Now you're going to remember that day, not just because it was your first international cover. You're really going to remember that day.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Yeah. I appreciate you painting a very graphic picture for us. Yeah, you're welcome. No, I like that even her outlook on it was it's going to be really cool when I look back and realize, like, I was sick as hell that day. and I look fucking great. She could have just stopped right at sick as hell that day, and that's the funny memory.
Starting point is 00:43:29 But instead, it's like that fucking, I crushed it and I was sick. That's awesome. Yep, it was a cool moment. But another little check in. It's kind of just cleaning up some little things, checking in with people before the season ends, Georgia and Prez.
Starting point is 00:43:43 What can I say about Georgia? Like, complete enigma, 100% wildcard doesn't even need to be involved in things, to be entertaining. the cleaning company, now she's writing a poetry book or something, I don't know. It doesn't have a name for the cleaning company,
Starting point is 00:43:58 but claims to have started a cleaning company, which is probably my favorite thing. I started a cleaning company. Yeah, in the same realm as like if I was like, I'm starting a pencil company. Yeah, she picked the name. Maybe bought an LLC.
Starting point is 00:44:11 She doesn't have a name. That's the problem. That's kind of my point. But let's get, and she's still somehow further along than Brooks. Oh, I know. I know. What a sin.
Starting point is 00:44:26 But this lunch could have done without. I just don't need Hudson on my screen at all. Like, he's just kind of the worst kind of person to watch on TV. Like, I really don't care for him. Did like, this scene did nothing for me too. That was the worst part. It's like, I don't understand your intentions.
Starting point is 00:44:44 We haven't seen you in like nine episodes. Ariana's not exactly in the mood to catch you up on everything going on. It's really just a check in and to say, you know, I'll always have love for you. I understand why, you know, we ended up breaking up and it's like, okay, closure maybe. You went with the, I wanted you to be somebody it couldn't be. Don't do that. He was a lazy piece of shit.
Starting point is 00:45:05 You're co-signing it. Well, she's co-siding it. But that's the thing that makes it very funny is like it was a very cut and dry conversation about, you know, you're not the person that I thought that I wanted you to be. And that's totally okay. and you need to go live your life. It's like, okay, yeah, this seems like closure. But then you find out that she's kind of on the fence
Starting point is 00:45:27 and maybe getting back with him and maybe talking to him again. It's like, wait a minute, what? You kind of just dissed him. And if you just stuck with that, that would have been awesome because he didn't realize that he got dissed. And he still thinks he has a chance. And then you show him that he might still have a chance a couple of months later. And then he does have a chance.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Pretty bad look. You really don't know what the hell's going on. At least you've got Liam and Charlie, which we can actually explain the Hudson thing, aside from the. billion dollars that he has access to for whatever reason. I don't really get it. It's not really appealing to me.
Starting point is 00:45:57 No, I don't understand it at all. In this scene, all this does, especially when we now know that you guys rekindled something after this. I'm not saying you dated. I don't know the extent of it. No, we don't know. It was enough to get the blogs going, which again doesn't say how intense it was by any means.
Starting point is 00:46:14 No. All it tells me, that plus the Liam thing, plus the Charlie thing, all three. what you show and tell us on camera is not at all what you're saying behind closed doors to any of these things. There's a very different story that you're telling to Charlie, that you're telling to Liam, that you're telling to Hudson,
Starting point is 00:46:34 that you're telling to yourself. So that's where these issues are coming from. If she was just out there living her life, hooked up with Charlie, hooked up with Liam, strung Hudson along, then dumped them again, fine.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Don't do not care. It's the fact that clearly you're giving, false hopes when clearly your heart was with Charlie and that's where it enters into the were you embarrassed because of the 10 foot pole thing because of everybody talking to you so you didn't want to fully commit to it
Starting point is 00:47:04 that's what I think it was and then Liam and Hudson are more or less a smoke screen for that. Yeah. And then Hudson is like the aftermath. That's what that was. There you go. Charlie burned her. She was down in. Hudson swoops in and she's like, oh, this is comfortable for a little bit. Then she snaps out of it goes, wait, fuck this.
Starting point is 00:47:20 did this amount that would track it's also somewhat strategic now look i say strategic in a way but it doesn't really matter because it's not like any of these people are going to be able to stand toe to toe to with charlie at a reunion but to do it before the reunion to give hudson somewhat of a fighting chance he might stand up for you at the reunion against charlie or maybe go against charlie and fight your battle for you again it's not going to work no buddy up to him and yell at It's kind of funny to play it that way. I actually enjoyed the way that that plays out. But yeah, I actually think that the appropriate signage, if you will, is her doing the devil
Starting point is 00:47:57 on the shoulder. She's always said, the devil on the shoulder is Charlie's. Charlie's doing this. It's really just another version of Ariana that I think based on the reactions from the group when she does ultimately kiss Charlie, I think she kind of likes it. Like it's not, oh, Charlie's telling me to do this and how I don't really want to do it, but Charlie's telling me and he's my devil. It's like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:48:19 Riley had a pretty good response, period. Gia didn't really like it, but she responds, okay. Ava loves it. You like that. You do like mixing it up and doing these things, and you're getting weird, positive feedback when you're doing bad things, or the wrong thing, or whatever it might be.
Starting point is 00:48:35 And it makes you feel good. That's it. It makes you feel something. Yeah, it makes you feel something. Yeah, I don't know if it's good. Yeah, it's a rush of excitement in a way. But those are the things that I think I'm looking to when it comes to Ariana because it's almost like she's blaming Charlie for bad behavior.
Starting point is 00:48:51 It's like, no, he just kind of put himself out there and you went after him. He just didn't say no. And then no one bopped you and said, hey, don't do that. You're like, well, okay. I did actually. They did do that in a way. No, you're right. I mean, I agree.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Like there are some people, you're right, that were like, hey, this is bad idea. There were other people that were egging it off. There's a couple others that were kind of leaning into it. But no, you're right. It probably comes to mind pretty much quickly. Yeah, but I think you're right. I think that it's easy to point at Charlie and be like, oh, the bad boy corrupted me.
Starting point is 00:49:22 It's like, or you're in a 10-year relationship. Having a little fun, getting a little messy shit happens. And you got caught up and he did a little too much. That's what it's looking like a little bit more to me. But it is funny, sad funny to watch Kendall and Jackson, like trying to reel the student. Like, man. And again, this is.
Starting point is 00:49:44 where like the real life aspect comes in because we've all you know been in a situation where you're trying to give somebody advice especially at dating they're like no or yeah yeah yeah and then they do it anyway like you got to figure it out for yourself that's at the end of the day you do need to go through it it's just watching their irritation with him like hey you need to take care of yourself uh you're putting a lot of eggs in this basket and leum's like oh we'll see what happens ah fuck oh god dude like you know they heard that story of walking the dogs and then she stayed at charlie's and like what the fuck are you doing what's the matter what is that like everybody else in the group heard that story like well that's a weird
Starting point is 00:50:22 thing to do what that that does make any sense everybody in the united states did that what the hell like if you're close to liam and again that's i i saw the fatigue on their face as soon as he starts talking about it same okay yeah the eye we just have fun tonight like jackson hasn't been around a whole lot he hasn't gone to the like a lot of the events we've seen him sit down and have lunch of them kendall's been there a lot she still has no fucking clue what's going on, but she sees what's happening and she doesn't really like it. Jackson's sitting there like, fuck, man, like, really weird to do this? Can we just like have fun and not?
Starting point is 00:50:55 All right, if you see me and I'm just, I'm lingering a little too much near her. And it doesn't look like it's going well. Just pull me out. Do something. Get my attention. You got it, buddy. I'll do. I'll get your attention and then.
Starting point is 00:51:07 And he does. And that is a very good friend. So that's the bottom line is the Jackson and Kendall to some extent as well. very good friends and want to pull him out of this, but he will not stop doing it. And he will not stop digging because he still thinks there's something there. There's a glimmer of hope here.
Starting point is 00:51:24 And I'm going to be able to get through it. And it's going to be okay. There's nothing, bud. You've got to pull yourself out. You got to get out of there. Yeah, until it shakes out, though, I don't think he was going to see the light through the trees. But everybody, everybody misses doubtfire.
Starting point is 00:51:36 It was a run by fruiting. Yeah, with the lemon. But, yeah, that was a funny scene, watching him go there. watching it at home, you're just like, oh, God, this is going to go really bad. Like, they're trying.
Starting point is 00:51:50 You know, it's not going to work. Sure enough, we get there. This was, like, Gia, I thought had a good season. Like, the more of the season went on, the more and more that I liked her. I thought that the finale really capped it off. I was like, wow, you are like the steadfast,
Starting point is 00:52:08 what's the word? You're one of the anchors of this show. You hold this shit down in a lot of ways. and you're kind of the outside of looking in. Almost like a voice of reason, which is a weird thing for a two nights to do. I know, right? But, you know, Charlie's thing is like, look, it's so funny when he decides to be like a quote, quote, stand up guy.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Hunt doesn't know what's going on with me in Ariana. So I plan to tell him to his face. We'd have a conversation. And Gia, I'm with Gia. What fucking, why? Why on earth? She also doesn't know what's going on. That's the funniest part is Charlie is so vague with his explanation.
Starting point is 00:52:43 So even when he's telling Gia, like, yeah, there's rumblings of things going on between the two of you. But there's nothing really confirmed because you've made so many jokes as smoke screens, it seems, to try to get people off your scent, but you pull them back in. You don't really know where you want to put them. There's nothing confirmed. Like, what is going on with you and Ariana? We're still questioning it. What do you mean you have a conversation with Hudson about what's going on with you? What is going on with you and Ariana?
Starting point is 00:53:07 And why would you have to pull him aside right now? This doesn't really make any sense. again, I agree to like certain situations. You want to pull them ahead before they go ahead and hear from someone else what's going on and try to misconstrued it. That makes sense. This is not one of those situations for a number of reasons. No one really knows what's going on. Everybody expects you to be flirting with Ariana.
Starting point is 00:53:31 They might allude to something else happening, but no one has confirmation. So you don't really have to get ahead of anything. And also it's Hudson. The fuck do you care. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day. And he's not going to do anything. Yeah, and I don't think he really does care. That's where I'm like, all right, what was the reason for this?
Starting point is 00:53:46 But let me put my detective cap on for a sec. Okay? Because if you look across this episode, there's a few things that point to this has been going on for a while. We go back in the season ever so slightly shy and Charlie in the bathroom discussing how Ariana is off camera, shy confirming that she's different off camera. Okay, fast forward to this moment. We get them sitting there and talking, and he's talking to Ariana about her going to lunch with Hudson. Now, she brings up the fact that he is more concerned about Liam and I than you. And he goes, oh, part of me thinks he'd prefer that.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Ariana, no, he'd lose his mind. Present tense. I hope not. Why? Why do you hope not? That tells me something's going on. You pair that with the father, son, Holy Spirit, post-smooch. This has been going on for an extended period of time.
Starting point is 00:54:47 I would say this has been going on since the ski trip in some capacity. I think the first hangout with the weed, I think that's when this started, if not earlier. And I think they've been trying to keep it under wraps, trying to keep it clean. But I think Charlie got too involved and it got a little messy. And if you look and you want to pull some strings, I think it all falls apart. yeah probably there's a world in which I can see all of that playing out in that world
Starting point is 00:55:15 is our world unfortunately for Ariana and I agree with that it's kind of funny too when you bring up the off camera stuff at the end of the episode you see the two of them walking into her room and she says and so this is my room and he goes oh wow really nice that was probably fake
Starting point is 00:55:30 he's probably been there before he's definitely been there before that's I thought the same thing we should have it should have been like Kyle and West sitting down the dogs coming over knowing who West was. We should have seen the dog's reaction was to Charlie. Fuck. That's what we should have done.
Starting point is 00:55:43 That's a good idea. Yep. Great, great call out. And weirdly enough, Kyle also involved in this show because him and Ava looked up. Yeah. I wonder how shy feels about that.
Starting point is 00:55:52 We'll find out. Really small. Oh, yeah, at the reunion, I guess we will. Then we'll talk about it. Yeah, that's tough. That's tough, shy. Sorry, bud. Not for Ava.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Like, do your thing, live your life. No. That's got a sting for shy. But anyway, you get to the party. And unfortunately, right back to shy. This is cute. This is very cute. The him and Ava thing is super cute.
Starting point is 00:56:15 Here's the problem. Shai. She's not looking for super cute in the long run. This is fun. You guys smooched. You know, she took a risk. It was like, okay, fine. I'll hook up with the shy guy.
Starting point is 00:56:27 It's an on-screen romance. That's all it is. Right. But I think he's getting his hopes up. You know, she talked to the dame about it. And his first thing was to make sure that she asked if he had her which just makes me question some of his choices, but that's neither here nor there.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Now, Dam Dash. Questioning his choices. Come on. I know. It's a crazy world. But that's when we get the first and pretty much only conversation with Liam and Ariana. Now, what this was in so many words is her letting him down nicely. I am not at the place that you want me to be at. I wasn't expecting you to come into my life when you did or other things in my life.
Starting point is 00:57:13 Charlie, she's doing that it's not you, it's me thing in so many words. And this is the part where we get a lemon out of nowhere. And he's like, what the fuck are you doing? I'm like, no, Jackson's right, dude.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Jackson's being a friend. Jackson's doing what you told him to do. Yeah. And if it was me, you know me, I would have been like, dude, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:57:32 I would even live it. But all that aside, he's doing what you asked. And yeah. I hate to say it. It's watching. It's kind of embarrassing. It is really embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:57:43 It's really tough to watch even from our perspective. But it is really funny because I'm sure from afar when you can't really hear the conversation, you just think, oh, they're getting into a deep conversation. Oh, he's got that face again. Let me break him out of this. In reality, the conversation they're having is pretty much a breakup. So it was really funny. Try to let it right. It's like if you knew the content of the content of the conversation.
Starting point is 00:58:05 conversation, you probably wouldn't have thrown the lemon, you would have just let it ride and then pull them aside and been like, all right, dude, we're done. Let's move on. Let's go have fun tonight. And I know you're going to be in your feels. But let's just go tie one on. Let's go get super fucking drunk and leave this bar and go somewhere else. How about that? You want to do that? Cool. Let's go do that. Instead, it was like right in the middle. When things started to shift ever so slightly from a, how have you been doing this week? Like what's going on into a I just think right now I can't be that person for you and I'm doing things. soon as it shifts, he gets hit with lemon. I'm like, oh, God. And it breaks up the conversation, and they have to carry all the conversation thereafter, which is even funnier. But at that moment, I'm like, oh, man, this is a breakup up. There's a lemon. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:58:48 That's good. Yeah, that's 11. That's salt in the wound. That's lemon juice in the wound. Lemon juice in the wound. Yeah. But, you know, I just wish, like, from Ariana's standpoint, just stop saying things. I'm not going to fuck, Charlie.
Starting point is 00:59:02 You are. Probably already did. But, yeah. So, like, don't just don't mention it. And who was that for? Is that to make Liam feel better? I don't know. I think so. I think it's Liam because I think she's pumped him up so much in his head that like, look, just because it's not you does not mean it's Charlie. Like that's what
Starting point is 00:59:20 she's trying to get through to him. But it's like, but no, it is. So now he's going to watch this back feel even dumber than he already feels. You're lying to everybody multiple times, which again, I don't think you're a bad person, but like clean it the fuck up. up. Just stop saying certain things. Don't reference that. If you might fuck him probably that night, like it's just a tough look. You don't have to go that far to try to make him feel better because now he's walking, crying with Jackson and Kendall and Gia and whoever else and literally saying as he does this sad walk to the bar, well, you know, she's not going to be Charlie. Like I just think that she likes Charlie. And then before that happens,
Starting point is 01:00:05 you get Hudson coming in. And if this doesn't tell you what a gigantic pussy this guy is, Charlie is absolved because he's afraid of Charlie. So I'm going to go over and be a tough guy, Liam. I'm going to walk over here and say, hey, if somebody unironically said to me, so I guess that conversation,
Starting point is 01:00:24 you disregarded that, huh? I would laugh. Like, who the fuck do you think you are? Again, the timing of everything is absolutely perfect because there's Hudson in his big boots from down. South and his leather pants.
Starting point is 01:00:37 And he wants to go over there and really talk some sense into Liam. Like, hey, I thought I put out those boundaries so that you wouldn't overstep them. Ariana just had a conversation basically ending things with Liam 20 seconds ago. Meanwhile, she's going to with Charlie over there. Liam could be in any altered state of mind at this point, especially after that conversation. You would be surprised if you don't get hit in that conversation after finding out what just happened. That would have been very funny too. Start an altercation.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Like, you know what? fuck you get out of my face. Then it turns into something else and it's very funny. And Ariana is still somewhat in the middle of that. But it's even funnier because he would then pan the camera over and Ariana and Charlie probably flirt it. That is such a great perfect storm. So I wish that Liam got like a little bit of animosity.
Starting point is 01:01:19 I'm not saying punch the guy on camera, but start some shit with this guy. Like don't let him come over and talk to you like that. I know he's a non-factor and a non-issue. But do something. Get him away from you. I know, I know. Daddy's going to sue you.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Zach's be going to sue you. But the worst. Like this, oh man, this like made me cringe. I felt bad. But like once that's all like settled and I think that, you know, I don't know if Hudson realizes that something has gone down, they literally have a moment. How did you deal with the Charlie bullshit?
Starting point is 01:01:54 Are you, I was not going to go there. I agree. Yeah, I agree too. Okay, cool. We'll be tight on that. And we're going to put our arms around each other for the group photo later because we nodded over the fact that we both. lost this girl and she's not going to call Charlie.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Yeah. But she's not going to do that. Like they're literally misery loves company in the most embarrassing way. I've ever seen in my life. Yeah, it's an embarrassing amount of copium. Yeah, it was pretty brutal to watch.
Starting point is 01:02:21 That was probably my least favorite part of this. I was like, oh, no, don't do that. He just came up and talked to. Now you're trying to like meet cute with the guy over Charlie, begging your girl. Like,
Starting point is 01:02:31 that's tough, dude. But solidifies that Liam is just too nice. Yeah, he needs a little more asshole on him. He just needs a little bit, little edge go a long way. Maybe this will get him there. Maybe this is the hard. Maybe he'll be friends with Charlie next season and he'll learn. Well, that's what Hudson did and he didn't learn.
Starting point is 01:02:47 It worked out for shy. It did work out for shy. Yeah. One for shy. 50%. Yeah. Just like Sundance. Anyway, as they're leaving the bar, Charlie hits up Ariana.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Hey, hang back so we can gap. The second. ariana sees this man the doiest fuck me eyes i've ever seen she is eyeballing this man from head to toe looking up at him like at his chin and we get this scene of like uh you know so we we set in boundaries well i don't think that we should set boundaries and then he just leans it it was like a bad rom-com it was a really bad rom-com it's almost like you were cheering for charlie at the end of it like i forgot what was going on when the fireworks all start up and everything. I'm like, wow, wow.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Is this, are we supposed to be cheering for this? Is this not like messy shit? All right. I'm in. Why not? Yeah, sure. And like the worst part, salt in the wound or more lemon juice in the wound, then you got to cut over as this is happening.
Starting point is 01:03:51 And Gia flat out tells Liam, you look like an idiot. Yeah. You, I know they're letting them down easy. They're trying to like, it's that, you know, we've all had these conversations. And from when you're going bar to bar and somebody. needs talking to to pick them up and just be real with them. That's what this was. It's like,
Starting point is 01:04:08 hey man, you look, this is dumb. Yeah, you look. Arias talking to Charlie right now. You look stupid as fuck. I love you.
Starting point is 01:04:16 I love, going to give you a good pep talk, but I, you're dumb. Yeah. I wouldn't see the Christian pep talk. I got upset when we got to the bar. He was telling,
Starting point is 01:04:23 yeah, I know, she was telling Ariana like, ah, yeah, we're just walking. Obviously, everybody's reaching out.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Like, where are you guys? What happened? I thought we were doing the same walk. And it's like, no, like you guys know what's going on. They're walking together. The flirting is gotten over the edge.
Starting point is 01:04:37 Now we're somewhere else. Whatever. But when we get to the bar after all of that and Gia tells Ariana like, hey, yeah, we were hanging back just trying to talk and, you know, Christian gave him a pep talk. Come on. Come on. I know he doesn't want to be on camera, but I want to see him have some personality. Me too.
Starting point is 01:04:53 I think that would have gone a long way, but that does just point to. He doesn't want to do it on camera. But yeah, I mean, as this kind of comes to a close, it's just, tough bro and this is where like you know we we give ariana a lot of breaks with this stuff this was fucked because you know what you're doing to Liam Charlie slides in you're giggling and laughing you're whispering to people next to you oh we kissed we kissed the dude across the table is dying right now yeah he's eating french fries looks like he's done he does like just be cool and I know everyone's lit I know we've been drinking all night
Starting point is 01:05:30 and I understand that part of it. But like, that's where I start to be like, all right, now you're just being fucking mean. There's no reason to like be mean about it. Like, yeah, it was by the way, hindsight, it was always Charlie. And we all kind of thought that, but like quite clearly there was no real competition here.
Starting point is 01:05:49 Just fucking be cool for 10 minutes until you guys go your separate ways. And then sit on Charlie's lap. But like in the meantime, Liam's literally dying. He's dying. And we have to watch him like, it's just the giggling that was getting. I was like, come on. Stop. That's mean.
Starting point is 01:06:06 Just mean. Then everybody else looking over like, what happened? What do we miss out? I know what happens here? It's, oh, God, is one of those things, no. And everybody starts to snap into focus. Oh, that's what's going on. Ah, that's tough.
Starting point is 01:06:19 Okay. But Liam, you know, I'll always have feelings for that girl. Jackson's pissing me off. Jackson shouldn't be pissing you off. Jackson was doing what you asked him. Dude, Jackson, Spike Lee's son. as you told me i didn't know that it's cool yeah but we get the run down at the end christmas eve ariana and liam still spent it together uh which you can say a lot of things about that there's
Starting point is 01:06:42 multiple stances to have so to speak we don't have to talk about it again unless you have something that you would like to to say on that no i just wonder if leum like told his family and then what was going on showed up with ariana christmas oh i see what you mean like well mom seemed to know what was going on a little bit. Sort of a little bit. Yeah. And then they showed up. I wonder what that Christmas Eve was like.
Starting point is 01:07:08 Get cameras for that. I don't really want to see it. It's very awkward. I do kind of want to see it though. But at the same time, we not have like real cameras picked up for the Bahamas trip. I mean, there's a lot of shit.
Starting point is 01:07:19 I don't know. Isn't that fucking weird? Yeah. We pick up cameras for Jacks Taylor, who hasn't been on screen in two years, hooking up with his fucking publicist. And we don't have cameras on for a good show in the Bahamas. why we don't get to see brooks panicking because he left his fucking passport in austin in the
Starting point is 01:07:35 warehouse with all those clothes like that's i want to see that but as it ends obviously charlie and ariana are a thing flash forward three months i don't want to be around charlie i want nothing to do with that guy he appealed to me through my christianity god called me to help him find himself and he worked so hard to use that to his advantage. No shit, dude. What? What do you?
Starting point is 01:08:06 Yeah. You can't do this now. Like you can't act like he got burned out of fucking nowhere when everybody, even the people rooting it on, Ava, Riley, they still did it with a warning label of like, you know who this guy is, right? You've seen what he's done to everybody. He burned Amira, who was his lifeline. You really think that you just, you're going to be the one.
Starting point is 01:08:29 You're going to be the one to make this guy who's clear. fucked up. Be normal through God? And then you're going to blame it on God? Stop it. You stop it right now. I will not. It's incredibly funny.
Starting point is 01:08:43 I cannot wait to see how this plays out of the reunion. I'm so excited for it. Yeah. And the big one like you said earlier, like the big slam dunk, I guess, was he got only God can judge me tattooed on him. That is the opposite.
Starting point is 01:09:00 He's literally flipping God. off, say, this guy can, like no one else could judge me except this guy. Like that's not, he, uh,
Starting point is 01:09:08 he literally got a tattoo to hook up. Yeah. And she's shocked by that. It's like, really? You don't get to play that card now. You were warned by everybody. You got burned.
Starting point is 01:09:20 Move on. Unbelievable. Let's see what the audience has to say about it. Uh, first one up here from saver. This was the lemon fair? It was very fair and very funny. And it was a great toss.
Starting point is 01:09:35 That's the one thing I don't want to get lost in the mix here. It was an incredible toss. They hit him in the face from that far away. Great toss. Yep. No, it was totally warranted, totally fair. Especially again, you have to think that they've been listening to this for the entirety of the season. So they're probably very tired of it.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Mm-hmm. From B-Man, Graham, 0727, Ariana, blaming Jesus for Charlie. Don't think of it. Yeah. It's another one of God's tests. Oh, stop. I can't. I fucking can't.
Starting point is 01:10:06 77 Carabare 44. Totally agree. Charlie comparing himself to Larry David is an insult to Larry David. And the tattoo, he is a sociopath. Yes, he is. And yes, that is not a fair comparison. Larry David, the whole funny part of Curb Your enthusiasm is nothing he was doing was malicious intent at all.
Starting point is 01:10:24 It just so happened that he would get into shitty situations by being himself. That's different than actively going about to. to fuck things out. Mm-hmm. From Chavon Beham, Brooks didn't perform well, but remember, he's the connector of NYC,
Starting point is 01:10:41 Normie Kids and Bravo Kids. Okay, but the connection's done. Yeah, and the connection's done. They're already friends, so we don't need him anymore. I'm done with Brooks.
Starting point is 01:10:52 Oh, wow. This is an interesting take from Beck Gibbo. Are we forgetting Brooks' mum, M-U-M-M-M. He was born to disengage and he made I see what you're saying. Yeah, you're not saying he's better than Meredith on TV.
Starting point is 01:11:07 You're saying he's better at disengaging than Meredith. Yeah. Yeah. Yes, you're correct. And that's kind of his problem. Yeah. From Josie T. Bear, how is Ariana seeing now that Charlie was manipulating her? And why is this the best show?
Starting point is 01:11:25 It's just Charlie's charm. It's what he's able to do. It's one of those situations where she was probably watching him from afar do this to other girls said that could never be me. And then it was you. And now you're blaming him. Which leads us to, we've all heard WWJD, remember the bracelets. We don't hear often WDJD from Alex Coydle.
Starting point is 01:11:48 What did Jesus do? Nothing. Nothing. Nope. Or, uh, what a wild thing to do. WD.D. WD.J.D. Why did you? Why did you? Jesus do that.
Starting point is 01:12:02 Oh, that's, yeah, I like that. W.J. D.T.D.M. Yeah. Yeah. Dude, I will never get over the fact that she went the God route at the end of this whole thing. Like, what?
Starting point is 01:12:14 That's nuts. Yep. From Lisa Wine Passport. Did you guys also cover your eyes when they were making out? No. I thought it was incredibly hilarious. And very funny. And I love the spin into the fireworks as if we've all been rooting for
Starting point is 01:12:31 this. We have, but not for the reasons why you... Not for celebratory reasons. No. Or entertainment reasons. Yeah. Very different. Let's see. A couple more.
Starting point is 01:12:43 Alex Coydell again. This is a good one too, so I'll read it. Why did I wait this long to watch this show? I don't know. And if you're listening now, we're going to do the thing that we do when there's a good show. If you're listening to us and not watching, it is time to watch season one, binge the shit out of it. You'll love every second of it. And we'll end it on this one from Amy Labadea.
Starting point is 01:13:04 I need 20 more episodes of this show immediately. Yeah, I do hope there is a camera pickup pretty quickly, but we do have two fiery reunion episodes. It is too. I thought I might only be one. Nope, double up. Oh, nice. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:19 All right, so we got two more to go. So revel in it, let's soak it in while we can. And I hope that I would imagine at least 15 next season with the success that this has been. And you know, it's going to carry over. With shows like this, there's usually a big spike when it ends in streaming. People jump on and binge the whole season. So I'd imagine we'll get a bigger season. But I agree.
Starting point is 01:13:40 Phenomenal, fantastic work. Everybody on the cast, good, bad, or indifferent. But that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. That's our show Robbroser out of here. Don't you wish you could just hit Skip on the worst parts of your life? You know the same way you can skip an ad.
