Bros & Shows - Auditioning? No Thanks (RHOA Full Recap S17E10)
Episode Date: June 10, 2026What's up bros? It seems the Atlanta season has slowly changed its course back to being entertaining and we're thankful for that. I suppose we can thank Drew for being incredibly entertaining while de...ciding not to audition for Pinky's new series as well as Shamea for chilling the hell out. We can only hope things continue to improve leading up to the eventual cast trip where things will inevitably pop off. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This is my favorite episode of Atlanta in a long time.
Like, I know the last few episodes have been solid.
Ever since we said there's a few things that we were a little worried about.
Episodes have been great.
This one was like a top tier.
I enjoyed myself the entire time.
Yeah, it was enjoyable.
I don't know if it's top tier because I want a little bit more drama.
I want a little bit more fun.
But this is better.
I agree.
I think the turning point, whether you guys like it or not,
the turning point was us complaining about it as soon as we complained,
and all of a sudden it was better.
I'm just saying,
you can thank us,
blame us,
whatever you want to do,
just mention us at some point.
You're welcome.
As there's a drive
in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh man,
it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi,
I'm karma.
And yes,
I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good afternoon, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode
of Brav Bros.
Your favorite podcast.
from the bros for everybody for whoever wants to listen.
I'm your co-host.
You're Russell joined as always by the one and only rich homie Goots.
What's up, dude?
Oh, man.
You don't have to do that.
I love Rich Homey Kwan.
That wasn't supposed to be disrespectful.
Listen, as a, as a typical white guy in college, I loved Rich Homi Kwan.
Yeah, exactly.
Rich Hoby Kwan was the anthem.
So I was so happy to see that they were doing something for him, his charity event.
And obviously people showing up and everything looked like a lot of fun.
Drew, pretty good national anthem, all things considered.
I'm going to give a props for that one.
It wasn't terrible.
It wasn't great, but it was right in that little window, which is where you want to be.
And I really appreciated that.
But yeah, the rich homie Kwan shout out was unexpected, but a very pleasant surprise.
Yeah, agreed.
I thought that was really cool to see them highlight all that stuff.
And it's funny, when Drew does the anthem, like back when I played,
we used to take prop bets on over,
unders, like a minute, and we would,
so if you ever sing the national anthem
and you're wondering, do the players talk about it?
They are talking about you actively during the song.
They are critiquing everything about it.
Yeah.
And we would always talk about, like,
whoever walked up to the mic,
we'd be like, I don't know.
But the biggest takeaway for us
was we just wanted to be done fast.
Under 60 seconds was ideal for anthem.
So keep that in mind if you're singing an anthem.
Yeah, I wanted a little bit more,
from the charity event.
I wanted to see what they were actually doing,
not just Drew singing and then kind of
a celebrity softball game.
Yeah, I wanted to see some action.
Give me some action.
That's what I want.
Agreed.
But yeah, I mean, just a great episode
because I feel like everyone's kind of settling in.
We're starting to understand roles
for some of the newbies.
The group is vibing,
even though we have some fractures in the group.
It's not taking away from everything else.
And we're just getting some really fun scenes.
Like, I'm really enjoying Drew.
Drew, this was one of my favorite Drew episodes ever.
That shit was so fucking funny when she walks into the audition, like bigger than what's going on.
By the way, like, it seems like a legit show, at least from what I've gathered there,
like Natory and you've got a lot of producers on it, that she worked on Mari.
She worked on a bunch of different shows.
It seems like a legit project.
So that's why I thought it was even funny that Drew's like, there's a process.
And we've heard about Drew's process in the past that has, we've had similar scenes like this.
But this to me felt like a full-blown.
Oh, no, no.
This is far beneath me and my acting power.
Yeah, yeah.
I've been trying to figure it out pretty much since I watched it this morning, where it is.
Is it a movie?
Is it a show?
Because I couldn't get a whole lot from the pitch that we got.
A series.
Yeah.
Okay.
So it's probably some sort of mini-series that hasn't come out yet.
So we'll have to be on the lookout for that.
I also texted you.
My girlfriend watches all the below decks.
And below deck med came on.
They ended their season at the end of January.
They're already premiering their next season at the beginning of June.
If OC or Beverly Hills ever did that to us, I would quit the show.
Immediately.
And by quit the show, I mean I'm going to be drastic and actually quit Rob Bros.
I don't think there would be any way around it.
I think our viewers would be licking their chops at the idea of us having to go back into Beverly Hills four months later.
I would lose my mind.
I don't know what to do.
But going to Pinky's show to her mini-series, whatever it might be, it looks legit.
It definitely looks legit.
I think that we're going to have a bigger discussion about Drew, but still very, very funny
as to what the hell happens during all of that.
It was honestly really funny.
And the other weird takeaway from me is I remember Drew and Shemia just being so at odds
from last season that there was just no moving forward.
and I'm so happy that we didn't have to have some big discussion.
I know we talked about it when we went to Tennessee.
Or was it Tennessee?
No, it was when we went to Dallas.
Yeah, I'm mixing up last season.
When we went down to Dallas, I know we had a discussion between the two of them.
And you don't really think too much of it when we do the,
all right, let's just move forward.
We're not going to get anywhere.
Let's move forward.
They're back and they're fine.
I mean, they're not best of friends,
but they're able to just film together and be cordial,
maybe even a little bit above cordial.
And we don't have to have a bigger discussion about it.
We don't have to make it a huge storyline.
It's just like, oh, yeah, I'm here to support you.
Now we can actually have fun and just vibe together.
And I love that because I don't want to have a bigger discussion.
I don't want it to take a full episode to get through all of the Shemiya stuff.
Now, again, we do have a bit of a Shemia-centric episode.
But it's almost as if, like you said, we're getting the newbies somewhat into the mix,
figuring out what their roles are.
I would actually say the same for Shamiya, where I think she's calming down a little bit.
Like, again, we tend to blame production.
We tend to blame Bravo editing, whatever it might be.
for piping up Shemia and thinking like,
hey, you're going to be the center peach.
You're going to have to carry the show.
And I think that was what happened last year.
And it spilled over a little bit this year.
It seems like maybe we're chilling out a little bit
with all of the Shamiya is center peach.
Because honestly, this is starting to turn more into an ensemble cast
where you get a little bit from everybody instead of just,
all right, we need to know what's going on with this one person with these two people.
It's let's just check it with everybody across the board and just see what happens.
And that's where this show shines, right?
And Atlanta as a whole, I think, has always shined in that regard because I would argue that they have some of the most entertaining cast members across the board.
If you go back in the older days of Atlanta, they're always great at this.
And that's kind of, I guess, where our issues with the show came in a few weeks ago is simply because we know what they're capable of.
Like, they're so fucking entertaining that we just wanted that.
And when you get the ensemble set up more, you get to watch them all shine.
and everybody did this episode.
That's why I loved it so much because it's just we're able to be cordial kind of across the board.
You know, there's obviously a lot of shit going on amongst the group, but it didn't fog down anything.
We were able to move forward, have some fun scenes, check in with everybody.
And I had a blast.
So, let's jump in.
Let's start it out.
And we're at the Edgewood meeting, planning on, you know, what the show's going to be, who's going to be in it.
Again, Tori is in it playing Pinky.
She was in the Biggie Small.
I knew I recognized her from the Biggie Smalls movie when they said, oh, yeah.
Yeah, she was in Biggie Smalls.
I also watched, I watched the first two seasons of power, I want to say.
That show just got way too much.
50 cents started changing things, and I didn't care for the things he was changing.
The first two seasons were awesome.
They were cool.
They had a really good storyline.
And then they just went to like some weird, like, I don't know, it was almost like a comic book at one point.
I'm like, what the hell's going on?
All right.
Yeah, it got very weird.
But those first two seasons were fantastic.
Well, Notary's a big name.
She was in 3LW.
That's where I looked at the show.
I was like,
all right,
this seems like a legit show,
which makes the Drew scene even funnier later.
But Pinky does have to clarify.
It's like,
look,
personally,
I'm filing bankruptcy,
but professionally,
I'm good.
And I think that this was also
an indication of her trying to be like,
hey,
I'm still making moves out here.
I know what's going on financially,
but I'm okay.
We also know that her husband is going to help
with the bankruptcy situation from what we saw in that earlier scene.
But regardless, I like the setup.
I like that we're going to talk about a show.
I think stuff like this is so interesting.
And I hope that we get to kind of dive into the actual process of it a little bit.
We got to do that with Garcell just a little bit in like her last season in Beverly
Hills talking about what she was doing in production and things like that.
I always love that stuff.
So I was pretty excited to see this.
Yeah.
No, I definitely was too.
I always like it when things feel like actually legit.
you know on the biggest critique of who the fuck is this producer who the hell is this like DJ that you're doing things with it is I don't care for your singing career or anything else like that
Pinky gets the benefit of the doubt because she's new if you come into the show and you've already got things established I'm not going to immediately think oh god you join this show so that you can push your show or you should me a trying to push your music yeah literally exactly that so I was happy to see this and again the Tori being there very cool and it just
seems like a legit production.
I don't know if it's going to be good.
I don't know if it's going to be watchable.
I'll talk more about that when we get to the audition scene.
But I was still happy to see it because, again, I just want to see something legitimate,
not something like I'm starting to feel bad because I use me as an example all the time.
But I don't, I don't want to see like the pitch for the fucking rum company and her and her just
shaking her ass like, yeah, we're going to put my ass on the bottle.
It's funny.
But I feel bad for the other people involved because that's their actual job.
This was like an actual meeting.
And Pinky carries herself so well.
And she's just such like a powerful force, I feel like.
Everybody's looking at her while she's talking in.
And she's speaking so well that I'm like, oh, you're very invested in this.
This is not just some weird thrown together projects that you wanted like a storyline on the show.
Yeah, I've really, really started to become a Pinky stand.
I think that she's fucking great.
I think we had to get through some early just getting used to the show.
I think that's super normal.
but she also, to her credit, has always been herself on this show from day one.
And I love authenticity.
So, yeah, I've started to fully become a pinky stand.
But let's keep truck.
And we get Drew, Cynthia, Angela, and we get to meet him.
We finally get to meet Le Prince.
And he's exactly what I pictured.
He's exactly what I thought, just a super charming, handsome gentleman.
And their situation makes total sense for them.
Cynthia's like when he's here, he's here.
When he's gone, he's gone.
And this is how we wanted to be.
I was excited that we got him because I feel like there's so many times on Housewife shows in general.
We hear about dudes, right?
We hear about Black.
We hear about all these other guys.
We never get the payoff of like, there he is.
And it needs to be.
We did meet Black.
Drew and him went on a friend date.
No, that's right.
Drew and him went on a friend date, the hookabar.
You're right.
You're right.
But that's fair.
I think that the better description, especially the way that we're going with Kelly and
her storyline would be that.
It's exactly that.
And I had that flash in.
Not that I feel like, no, actually, you know, it's completely different.
Kelly's situation is so different because she talks about it constantly.
Whereas if we were going to mention La Prince at some point or Prince, whatever you want to call them,
it seems like they were calling them both.
I want to call them LePrinse.
I want to call them LePrinz, too.
I feel like if we go down that road of like Kelly kind of looking around at the rest of the group,
like, well, you're, we never see your.
husband, we never see your boyfriend, we never see that, then all of a sudden it's a big
group issue versus focusing on the fact, which I think we're going to do at some point in the next
couple episodes, focusing on the fact that Kelly's got this absentee boyfriend that no one,
no one deserves to meet apparently.
I will say when Kelly's hammered, she's borderline enjoyable.
I was going to say the same thing.
Yeah.
No, I really was.
I was like, it should be a stipulation in her contract.
Now, it is a very funny conversation to have after we just covered the valley yesterday talking
about Danny's drinking the whole time.
And drinking problems.
I'm not against drinking if you're just a fun drunk.
And Kelly seemed to be a pretty fun drunk.
Like I had no problems with that.
It's when she's kind of like with it and she's got those rehearsed quote unquote iconic lines.
That's when she pisses me off.
This was just fun.
I really enjoyed Kelly while she was drunk.
I think Shemia and Kelly just sit together and just spout off lines back and forth.
Like trying to be iconic just back and forth.
But at Cynthia's house.
They're talking about the K Michelle and the Porsche lunch and the plotting of it all.
But it takes a turn because Angela once again is like,
I'm pretty sure that Shamilla was behind this.
So we had a lunch to talk about everything.
It went sideways.
And then we get more about the Hawks and the Falcons.
And the producer, I love the Atlanta producers because they asked the right questions.
And they're digging a little bit.
They're like, who told you that?
Well, I'm not going to tell you that.
But I will tell you that I trust the person that told me this.
And I don't know if it's still happening.
but I can pretty much guarantee that it for sure happened.
Usually when it comes to stuff like this,
we're like,
ah,
you know,
it's kind of crossing a line to,
to talk about a marriage like that.
For some reason,
this doesn't feel that way.
Maybe it's because it's just like throwing it out there,
like an athlete rumor or something like that,
but it just doesn't give the icky vibe,
and I'm not really sure why.
I think it's because it's coming from Angela.
That's really the other thing.
We are,
Angela fans on this podcast. We always give you the disclaimer. I think if anybody else,
I'll be unbiased for a second. If anybody else had said it, I probably would have rolled my eyes,
but I like Angela. Not even that I believe her when she's talking. It's just that I like Angela.
So it doesn't strike me as icky. But also, I am kind of hammering into the fact that there is
no way in hell, Angela and Shemia will be friends. That's kind of what I'm getting from all of this.
they have not been friends pretty much since Angela got on the show.
Shamea has been going after Angela's feet for the entirety of her tenure on the show.
It's very stupid.
And she continues to do it in this episode.
Cynthia takes offense to it, of course.
But I just, I'm okay with it being irreparable because there's so many people on this show.
It's fine with me.
If you guys actually hate each other, I just know the reads that we're going to get from
Angela versus the reads we're going to get from Shemia.
The Angela reads are going to be way better, whether it's true or not.
doesn't really matter to me.
But you can see when Angela is doing this,
and we talk about her all the time,
when she is getting into it with somebody,
or she has an issue with somebody,
or just an argument like she had with Pinky earlier in the season,
she doesn't really mean the thing she's saying for the most part.
She's just kind of throwing shit at the wall and just kind of goofing around.
She's matching your energy.
Yeah, exactly.
And that's what she does.
And that's what she's saying that she does with Shamia,
when she's talking to the rest of the ladies.
But when she says it to Shamia,
and when she goes into it again,
she kind of starts to ramble a little bit while she's talking to the other women.
and going deeper into it, the things that she didn't even say to Shemia,
I'm like, damn, you really fucking hate her.
You actually hate this woman.
And I'm okay with that because I think it's going to come to blows at some point,
especially when you guys have to live in a house together.
I assume, again, we heard Scotland, when you have to go on your trip and you guys are in a house
again together, that's going to be very messy, but that's going to be fun because,
again, there's 10 women on that trip.
So they'll be able to separate you.
It's just going to get very verbally messy, which I'm looking forward to.
But they get a text from Shemia inviting them to a birthday party the following day.
It's 8 p.m.
And it's an African-themed party.
So everyone's going to have their traditional African garb and go to this party.
So then they're like, where the fuck am I going to get like traditional African clothing the night before this thing?
But okay, whatever.
And we find out from Shemia, it's kind of a she was looking at the situation and didn't want to rock the boat more.
So put these out there at the last.
I don't know.
And that's the thing that kind of happens with Shimea is like her actions don't line up with
what she says a lot.
Like she says one thing and does something totally different.
That doesn't make a lot of sense.
No.
I mean,
it's bullshit.
But it's not bullshit in the way of I know why it's bullshit.
It's just bullshit because you forgot to invite people.
Correct.
That's all it is.
And what it tells me is these women would not have been invited if it wasn't for the show.
Like I don't believe.
Fadra or I guess it was
Fadra and Cynthia were the only two that were sitting there
that actually got invited because obviously Porsche is not
going to get invited and I actually kind of like
that Porsche just gets up and walks away when Angel
says talking about Shemia.
That's okay. I actually understand where you're coming from
because you've been on the show for a very long time.
You know that any facial expression,
any sort of word that you might throw
in there, whether it's in support of Shemia or
against Shemia, is going to be brought
back up by somebody at some point.
If you don't want to deal with it and you guys,
I guess maybe there's
might be abridged across at some point.
And that's kind of what Porsche is thinking, like, all right, I don't really want to make this
any worse than it already is.
Maybe she misses Shemia.
We'll never actually hear her say that.
I think so.
I think she misses the friendship.
And I think Portia's so headstrong, she'll never tell us that.
But her actions will speak louder than her words.
So her getting up and walking away, it's not just, I can't deal with the idea that Shemia
has anything on me.
It's, I don't want to make things worse at some point.
Because I would like to maybe try to repair somewhat down the road when we can figure
things out, but I've got too much going on right now to get into it. But it does tell me from
Shmiya's invite list that she wasn't going to invite these women if it wasn't for the show.
I mean, Dennis got an invite the week prior. That's what Porsche said. She's like, yeah, he reached
out to me. He's like, yeah, I got an invite like a week ago. You can't tell me that Kelly didn't
know about this party a long time ago. You can look at all the other people at this party.
Like, yes, the ladies that were invited the night before, they did their best. But you look at
the rest of the women that are there, the rest of the men that are there. They're in like a perfect
African attire.
They've known about this damn party.
They know exactly what's going on.
So don't throw a weird, random fact and be like, I can't have anybody spoiling.
Like, the next thing you know, they're going to text Gerald and let him know what's going.
I'm sorry, but Fager is not going to text Gerald and say, hey, what do I wear your fucking surprise party?
Fager might text Gerald.
Nobody else would text Gerald.
Fager might.
Yeah, Fadier maybe was the worst example I could use.
Cynthia is not going to text Gerald and say, hey, what do I wear to your surprise party?
Fager might do it just for the plot.
exactly but totally agree now we move on to i thought k michel had a fine episode this time i thought
if this is where she kind of lands i think she's totally fine yeah i'm fine with that um i think it's
the tale of two newbies with her and pinky i think pinkie has found her form i think k michel is
starting to understand what the show is a little more at least it's at least progress it's the right
she's moving to the right direction it's just she's moving very slowly for my for my taste but again
if you have enough people moving the right direction and those fractures start to minimize a little bit,
I'm okay with Kay Michelle taking a lot longer to catch up to the rest of the path.
I agree. And if she finds her way eventually, that's all that matters. We'll have a better sophomore
showing from her. But it was nice to hear about Kimberly, if you will, apparently.
Or Kimberly, if you will. But it was nice to hear about her and her son, her relationship with her
son, who's a very accomplished young man, you know, he's working in D.C., he's going to grad school,
all those other cool shit. So this was just a, a,
quick highlight scene.
And I actually really,
really enjoyed it.
I respected the hell out of Kay Michelle for this one.
So that was cool to check in with her and her son.
But we keep on trucking and we get to the party at Shamias.
The food looks fucking fantastic.
I was locked in on that pretty much the whole time.
But this is where Shemia tries to tell us like,
oh, yeah,
I kind of panicked and invited everyone last minute,
except for Porsche,
which obviously Porsche is not going to get invited.
But Kelly has her best moment of the entire season.
and she was blackout drunk for it.
She's just sitting there like crying.
I was like,
what the fuck is going on?
She's like,
y'all are my couple goals.
Like,
oh my God,
Gerald,
you're just,
you're just the best.
Gerald,
you're the best man in the whole world.
You're such a great dad.
And I love the Kay Michelle's like,
what the fuck is going on?
Like,
she's funny to me when she commentates on like these types of situations where it's
like so like what we would be doing if we're sitting there.
Like,
what the fuck is going on right now?
She's like,
I don't know what,
what they're licking and sticking here in Atlanta.
But I want it.
I want it.
I would like to sleep with Kelly and Shimea and Gerald.
I think the ending made up for everything else because while she's going down this,
I'm like, it's not that deep.
It's not that big of a deal.
Please don't make this a bigger deal.
And honestly, look, look at her track record for this entire season.
I thought Kaye Michelle was going to have so many different weird stances on all of this.
Ending it with, I would have joined me, my husband, Gerald, Shemia, we could
throw Kelly in there.
It could be a good time.
we'll really get to know each other.
That's funny.
That's the lighthearted approach that I think that she's been missing.
Everything is so serious, everything's so sensitive with Kay Michelle up until this point.
If she can just open up to some lighthearted activities, I think she'll just do herself
such a service.
She'll actually stop stressing out so much and she'll stop dealing with it.
Like it's not life or death all the time, like she makes it seem.
Exactly.
And that's seeing a glimpse of that gives me hope for the future.
So that's why I thought between that and some other stuff,
especially the Drew confrontation at the end and her then singing the national anthem in the car.
I was like, you're getting it.
You're fucking getting it.
Like this is what we needed.
But the big thing is Fadre's trying to repair the group.
She's like, we need everybody to come together and have a fun time with everybody.
But before we can do that, we have to check in with Shemia about the Angela meeting.
And of course, Shemia frames it like she came after Rimer's.
The first thing she said to me was you work in the NBA because of easy access and you're banging the players.
no-uh, you started it, she finished it.
And then you walked away from the table.
So that's my other issue with Shemia is like, obviously you're going to have some bias towards yourself.
You're going to paint the situation in a better light for yourself.
But it's just every time she's in a confrontation, it's like that's not what happened at all.
And then she says the same lines over and over again.
With you, Bigfoot, I'm going to call her Bigfoot as long as I want.
I was like, I know you're trying to be iconic right now, but it's not funny.
The only funny line to come from the Bigfoot thing is when Cynthia says on behalf of the
Bigfoot community and Fager follows up with not the Bigfoot community.
I was like that.
I like that.
Thank you guys for saving this scene.
But Shumia, and again, I agree with you.
I think that she's kind of mellowed out a little bit this episode, but I just,
I can't get away from her and Kelly.
It's always an attempt to just be iconic as fuck.
And I think that they think.
think that they hit certain things like the big foot line i think shimia every time she says big foot
he's like i'm crushing it i am killing it this season with the big foot thing yeah i have a really
hard time ignoring that to try to figure out what she's actually saying and i think the thing between
shemia and angela now is the more conversations that we need to have to sit down and squash things
every time they sit down and try to squash things more things arise yes so i don't even know what the
original issue is. I can't remember. I think if I had to guess, it's that Shemia thinks that
Angela is telling everybody else in the group that Shemia is to blame for everything else.
Which defied, which never happened. Yeah, kind of, I think that Angela just blamed Shemia for a
lot of things. It might be true. It might not be, but it's obviously getting under Shemia's skin.
I just think that when she does this all the time, like, it doesn't really matter anymore, but I am
happy that Angela had a chance to talk to Cynthia before. Because again, Cynthia is our
compass in this group. Wherever she thinks is going on, that's probably where we are. That's
probably where the audience is, unless you have your fan and she happens to be on the other side.
But I think that when it comes to this, no one sitting around there is like, okay, yeah,
Angela definitely walked into that meeting and immediately spouted off that you're banging somebody
from the Hawks or banging somebody from the Falcon that came for your marriage. Because we haven't
seen Angela do that. They've only ever seen because of what Angela has put out there in her history
that Angela will talk to you, try to have a conversation.
If your energy is off, she'll match the energy, whether that's good or bad.
And look, she might take it to the 10th level.
She might immediately just end things, which she usually does, and that's okay.
But wherever the energy is to start is based on the other person.
It's never based on Angela.
So she's done enough, I feel like, to at least convince the rest of the women
that when anybody else is talking about Angela and they say something like this,
it's just bullshit.
It really is because she didn't break out the talks and Falcons player
until the very end of the conversation when Shimea was already standing up to leave.
Yep, exactly, exactly.
But Kelly chiming in because Shamiya's like, oh, with her fake ass, her ass is not fake.
I touched it and it's very soft and it's very juicy.
I was like this, this version of Kelly's very funny.
Like if this Kelly was on screen all the time, I would probably like Kelly.
Yeah, she absolutely is very, very enjoyable.
But while we're in the middle of our episode, we're just going to take a quick little ad break here.

There are vampires out there. They're beside you in the darkness. But what people don't understand is that they're not monsters. They're just going to work, living there on lives. But we are a dying breed. Those who came before me, they are fearful and are not content to sit back and just disappear.
they'll do anything to fix that from the creators of parkdale haunt comes woodbine a podcast about
monsters dreams and changes those you want and those you never saw coming season two arrives september 24th
distributed by realm but let's get to a scene that i i really liked and it it warrants a conversation
because i love joselle on this show i loved this scene i love seeing her with portia
chiming in on what's going on in alana and i wasn't expecting it either i didn't know
know that we were getting a cameo from Giselle.
But I, for some reason, I don't know, man.
I really liked her on Atlanta.
It happens all the time, even though from what I remember, the Pottovic season, wasn't the best.
Most of the worst.
My feelings have kind of dwindled on past seasons.
Every time I see a different housewife in a different setting, I always enjoy it.
I really don't care.
Like, you could throw it maybe not yet, give it a couple more months, but you could
throw a Beverly Hills housewife somewhere.
and I might be okay with it,
which says a lot of if you listen to her.
Beverly Hills,
yeah,
we'd probably depend on who it was.
If it was Kyle,
I probably wouldn't be excited.
But that being said,
she's always just,
she's a welcome member of any sort of cameo.
You know what I mean?
Like her popping up in any other capacity
outside of Potomac,
a couple months removed,
always gets me going.
And she had a bull point list.
And she just sat down and she's like,
all right, boom, boom,
tell me everything that's going on in this group.
We're going to try to figure some things out.
Also,
leaving. I have to go meet up with my daughter afterwards because I think that's probably why she was
down there, right? I would imagine. Yeah, but I love that. And she clocks in for a quick
scene and she gets to work immediately. I guess, of course, Gisela has a bullet point list. Like,
that's, that's what she does. And it's about Shumia. And I guess Jizel and Shemia must be friends and
she's checking it on their relationship. And we've gotten to a place. I don't know how much I believe,
Porsche. But I will say her actions have not been contentious really towards Shameda this season.
She's in a place where she's like, look, no hard feelings, no harbored resentment.
The line that stuck out to me was that I were not BFFs at the moment.
So when you combine that with her bouncing earlier during the conversation, that's where I put
together. I'm like, I think you do miss that friendship because for you to clarify that you're not
best friends for now keeps the door open.
for a reuniting in the future.
Yeah, I think talking to Giselle versus talking to somebody else in the group
that has to be around the two of you all the time,
you're going to get more of the truth from Portia.
And I think Giselle knows the two of them because, you know,
they've been on the network for a very long time together.
She understands, you know, what should be in Porses' friendship has meant.
That's exactly what I got from this.
That's exactly what kind of put things together for me with Portia.
I think she's trying to remove herself from any sort of negative comments or any sort
of negative situations about Chimea because she does miss the friendship.
But she wants to be able to rebuild at some point.
And I don't think she's going to lie to Giselle.
But I also like that Chazelle asked that because she probably does know both sides of things.
And she's probably already talked to Shemia, knowing Giselle, she's coming up with homework.
She knows what's going on.
She knows exactly what's going on.
That's why I love Giselle coming onto this show.
But let's get to my favorite Drew scene ever because we get to Pinky's casting call for Edgewood.
And Shumia is in a little room reading her lines, getting ready to go audition.
and Drew walks in.
And the vibes are great, right?
Like she's excited to see Drew.
Drew has not done what she's about to do yet.
And we see the scene where Pinky calls Shamia.
And she's like, I would love for you to be on this scripted series.
I need that kind of energy here.
Will you come and read for me?
And Shamia, this was so genuine.
And I actually felt bad for it for the first time in a long time.
She's like, do you want to look at the sides?
No.
I there's a process and we've heard this process in the past it goes to my new manager proper
booking etc i'm here to support her but an audition no no no you're saying this to shemia
who's legit like about to go audition and you're acting as though and look drew has a nice career
i'm not going to take away from now she's done a lot she's been in the business for a long time
but you're not hallie berry walking into this thing like let's be real like you come into this with
this holier than now, I'm better than this whole production thing.
And I just, I don't know what she expected.
I will say, I appreciate that she is always herself.
Like, she will stand in her truth regardless of how it makes her look because it just
looks like she's smearing everybody there.
Notary, who's very established.
She's like, I'm too big to read for your show.
So I'm here to support.
They're like, ah, you can just go on and get the fuck out of here, actually.
I was so confused.
I love that Drew came in like this because it's a thing that only Drew can do.
But when she's going into the reasoning and she says, yeah,
I heard from Pinky and I told her,
send me an email,
send me all of the stuff.
We'll go through everything and then I'll come do it.
I didn't know if she just didn't like,
did she not get that email?
And she's like,
oh, okay.
Pinky said that she didn't email her back.
She didn't even give her an email.
No, no.
Pinky said that she didn't ever gave her the email to send it to,
which is fine.
and whatever.
I'm sure you can look it up.
But at the same time, if I'm pinky, I'm like, all right, whatever, it's not a big deal.
It's true.
I'm just going to let it go.
But if you're Drew, I don't know.
I think it probably could have broken either way where she was going there and she could
have just put on a face and been like, oh, no, I'm just straight up here to support.
Or I figured because you didn't send me all of the upfronts that I got the job and you're
just going to cast me into whatever.
I think that depending on how the meeting went, that's exactly where she was going to go.
But somehow, some way between the conversation that we have with,
media before and the conversation we have with Pinky while in the auditioning room,
it worked perfectly because we got the best of both worlds where it didn't make any
fucking sense. And it was in the same sentence of, well, I mean, you didn't send me anything.
So I figured, but also I was here to just support.
And I'm like, oh, man, you don't know which way to go.
You can't tell if you would to be like, hey, I didn't get anything.
So I just figured, you know, you weren't going to go my direction.
And I just wanted to come to support still.
That's where you probably should have gone.
Instead, she went with the, well, I mean, I might be getting the.
job no I came to support I didn't get the job I came to support I didn't want the job I actually
didn't want the job I just drove an hour all the way you're kicking me out I just drove an hour to
get it why are you here like I don't understand did you think it was just a formality like you
were going to walk in and they're going to be like ah drew sador of course you're going to join
the cast we've got you right here come sign the contract or did you really genuinely think
like all right I'm going to be filming for the show I'm going to go support pinky but I mean if
they give me the job I'm obviously going to take it and I'm going to
like I'm ready to go.
I don't know.
I don't think that she had her mind made up.
And it's very fun to watch that thought process break down in the moment for Drew because
she doesn't know which way to go.
She doesn't know if she wants to be like, I am such a big actress that this is insulting
that you want me to audition or I didn't come here to audition.
I'm just here to support you.
High five.
Good job.
I'll see you guys later.
Cool.
Watching her try to wiggle her way out of it in their good graces was so funny because she is
caught in that in between.
And she stands.
she's standing in the room where they're doing auditions.
And Pinky's like, well, Kian said you were going to read for this.
And she's like, well, that one really threw her because then she's like, hey, I'm just here
to support.
By the way, done a lot of box office movies.
Don't know if you know that.
I have a film out right now in the box office.
Pinky's line of like, what, what?
The FedEx office?
Like what he thought was awesome.
It just was like top to bottom fucking great.
Like the condescending tone from.
Drew and then Drew trying to clean it up to not seem like an asshole.
You know, I've done a lot of box off, but I don't take any opportunities for granted.
That was the perfect representation of what she was feeling in that moment of I'm better
than, but oh, wait, I don't want to come off bad.
So I've done a lot of box office movies, but, but I don't take opportunities for granted.
Yeah.
Okay, cool.
Get the fuck out.
Too funny.
Just take your shit and leave.
That was great.
It was my favorite Drew scene ever, I think.
But Shumia reads her lines.
Pinky loves that.
So I would actually like to see Shamiya in this show.
I think that's kind of a fun, just cross over into real life from a reality show.
So I hope she gets something in it.
But let's get to Kay Michelle for a very fun seeing her in Fadra.
Fadra comes over and she's testing, testing Fadre out a little bit.
She tried to not like her.
Fadre kind of wore her down, which I'm sure Fadre does with a lot of people.
She's a very likable person, especially in person.
But they're going fishing.
And the hot dogs in Kool-Aid is a real thing.
You can catch catfish with that, believe it or not.
I've heard that before.
Yep.
So that was actually, it was it.
It was Kool-Aid garlic and Kool-Aid garlic powder and hot-th.
I don't know if there was Kumin in there, but Kool-Aid.
I've done the Kool-Aid and hot-dogs.
I didn't know about the garlic powder.
I've also, Canadian bacon is a good one if you want to catch catfish.
So that's legit.
Catfish are gross, man.
Of course they would have like the grossest palate.
They'd be like, oh, that smells fucking good.
Yeah, they're garbage feeders, but fried catfish is delicious.
It's fucking.
Yeah, yeah, the meat is great.
I'm just thinking like the fish itself, that's a gross fish.
They're gross.
That fish is into some weird shit.
Yeah, I've gone noodling before.
That was a lot of fun.
That's terrifying the first few times.
You stick your hands in a hole, you're underwater, and then this like 30 pound catfish
wrestles you trying to drown you.
It's great.
Highly recommend if you haven't gone noodle.
before but anyway all this does for me is k michel's ingratiating herself into this group in her own way
and i'm okay with that like she's making friends she's not isolated on an island anymore her and fager
have a fun relationship and again fadre's still trying to push like hey we need to be able to come back
together as a group can you come to this this national anthem thing for drew not really coming for
drew but coming for the group as a whole i'm already sick that day well i'm going to
send you some Theraflu while you think about it.
This just, again, to me, is Kaye Michelle's, she's starting to find her footing.
It took a long time, but we're getting there.
She just needs to be able, and I don't know what happens, but I guess she decided, even
though while we were down in Dallas, she said that Fager was involved in the plot against her.
She cleared Fager and Portia, remember?
Because she had conversations, but didn't clear Drew.
Which is bizarre.
Again, we talked about that already.
If anything, you would clear.
Drew and Portia, maybe.
I wouldn't even clear Porsche, to be honest, but whatever.
Neither here nor there.
I think she just needed to be able to stretch into trying to talk to somebody else in the group.
Not just Jamia, Kelly, Cynthia, to some extent.
You have to be able to talk to other people in the group.
Maybe she's just slowly warming up to that.
I think Fager is a good place to start.
I also think you can sit down with Portia.
It seems like you've got history there.
You can figure some things out.
You can sit down with Angela.
You can talk about that.
I haven't seen a conversation between the two of them.
So maybe she'll get there eventually, but right now that's what she needs to do,
especially again, before we go on another girl's trip, your first girl's trip, disaster.
Do you really want your second one to be a disaster?
Probably not.
No, and that's the thing.
It seems like she's getting in a good enough place so that trip could be a success.
I imagine we're going to see another tough moment just because those trips seem very emotionally
taxing.
You don't really have an escape.
But I think that's also kind of a make or break moment for Kay Michelle's future on this
show.
if she can go and have a solid girl's trip
despite whatever may happen,
I think that shows that she has acclimated to this show.
So that'll be interesting to watch.
But we get to Rich Homie Kwan's Celebrity Softball Game.
It's his organization throwing this event on behalf of him.
It's a really cool event.
I do wish we got to see the actual softball game.
That would have been fun.
I would have to see who's there.
Oh, I just, you know,
I wanted to see who else was there.
I know we're there for the Real Housewives of Atlanta,
but show me a couple other cameos.
I know that maybe they don't want.
want to be on, but just like give me a slow pan across the field.
Yeah.
So I can pause and I can look to see who's there.
There'd probably be some really cool names there.
Oh, you know what?
I actually saw.
This has, it's very loosely connected to this.
Uh, there is a charity event, a charity golf tournament down in Atlanta.
It's hosted by like Michael Vic.
It's hosted by like one of the main like rap R&B DJs that are down in Atlanta.
Guess who's going to fucking be there?
is it in the bravo
you're not gonna it's in the bravo sphere you're not it's in the bravo sphere you're never
gonna get it though meredith marks
nope it's a dude
Kyle
nope joe bradley
hell yeah joey
it's like Michael
Vic and then like somebody from the
Chappelle show
it's a couple of jarl now Rawlings
yeah yeah and then a couple of DJs and
and then
a couple of like rap artists and then it's just Joe Bradley's fucking white face just stick it out
in the middle of everything like what are you doing here buddy hell yeah joe that's that's fun
i like that a lot don't rollings is fucking hysteria i love that man but we uh we get a funny
moment where shamias trying to get or get back on drew she's like oh do you want to practice
it's like uh shamiah i think drew's more established in music than you as well like that
doesn't land the way you wanted to but it was kind of funny to see or try and then pinky
arrives and I love that she just immediately is like, oh yeah,
Drew didn't audition.
I'm like, fuck yeah, just keep throwing it at or make her respond to that.
And she just kind of like, I have to go lock the fuck in guys.
Thank God, Keon came over and bailed me out of this thing.
So I'm not going to sit here and talk to you.
But Porsche arrives and we get an awkward hello from her and Kelly,
which is good.
Like again, we just need to be able to coexist in these spaces until we get to the trip.
And then obviously things are going to blow up.
But that's kind of what we want to happen.
We just need to be able to be cordial in the meantime.
I thought Drew did a great job with the anthem.
I thought it was a very good rendition.
And while that's going on,
Kay Michelle pulls up and she calls Fadra.
Fadra, where are you?
You're not at the event.
I guess her son had an MCL tear during his game.
He's handling it far better than Jason from the Valley.
And he's a child.
And he's just kind of like, yeah, it sucks.
But, you know, Jason's whole life is ruined.
Poor kid.
I thought about it.
He's like 10 or 11.
years old and he just tore his MCL.
That really sucks for him.
But you could argue it sucks more for him than it does for Jason, but I'm not going
to argue that right now.
No, no, no.
But it was funny to compare the two.
But we're thinking about her son.
Hopefully he has a quick recovery.
But I thought Kay still going into the event was big.
And, you know, for Drew to say, she's just here to cause a scene.
It's like, no, she almost didn't come in because Pedro wasn't there.
So I actually appreciate that she's taking the uncomfortable.
steps towards these things because I don't know if she would have done this two weeks prior.
I think she would have stayed in the car.
Yeah, she would have turned around a thousand percent.
Yeah, exactly.
But the big thing that happens is we get a lunch afterwards.
And again, I enjoyed this scene a lot.
We get Shemia, Drew, and Kay Michelle.
And, you know, Kay still feels a certain way because Drew said to her that you don't
belong in the group, which is, you know, that one's going to stay for a while.
And Drew probably needs to explain that part of it.
But I agree with Drew in the regard of like, you know,
K Michelle is a lot to say about Drew in this plot.
We've yet to see K.
Michelle go and talk to Drew about this plot.
She had time for Portia.
She had time for,
uh,
Fadre,
but she doesn't have time for Drew.
And I don't get why.
I mean,
it comes back to that,
that statement about black.
But again,
to our knowledge,
the only time that she drew,
a,
um,
drew,
drew a comparison.
was you know him on the sprinter van.
That was it.
We haven't heard her really mention a relationship between K and Black.
I would argue that Kay's DMs with Black are more damning than what Drew said.
Which we do get to at some point.
We saw it in the midseason trailer.
So eventually that'll come back up.
But the way I see it coming back up is talking more and more about this and really not getting anywhere.
Like this is, I feel like an issue that could be resolved pretty quickly.
because I think sitting down with just Shamiya with Drew there.
Shamea and Drew aren't in a good standing necessarily.
I mean, they're cordial.
They're fine.
But I don't see Shemia taking Drew's back.
So this is probably your best opportunity to just tell Drew what your problem is with her.
Yeah.
See where you get.
And then when you go back to the rest of the group, you can say, look, I kind of laid it all
out.
Drew is just vehemently denying everything.
And then she got up and walked away because you didn't feel comfortable.
But I don't know what more you want me to do.
Then I think the rest of the group would respond well with that.
Like, all right.
you had the conversation she didn't take it that well and she walked away that's not really your fault
that's her fault but instead i i don't know i thought it was kind of funny i maybe just because the
rest of the episode was funny but when droop goes into it and she knows what she's saying and then
kameschel just kind of shuts down she's like uh-uh you're not going to get me you know how to push
my buttons you're not going to get me this time and then walks away i think i would normally get mad
about that but i think in the grand scheme of things that was kind of funny because now you very
and maybe I'm digging too far into it.
At the very least,
Kay Michelle thinks that Drew is doing this for a moment,
thinks that she's doing this to try to rile her up
so that she'll pop off and then she could say,
oh, Kay Michelle's got a problem with me.
She went after me after the charity lunch.
Who does that?
And that would be a whole storyline.
Instead, she didn't trap her.
She was able to walk away.
So I'm okay with it.
I think it's kind of funny.
Shimea was fine in this scene again.
Again, I think that's probably why I think that Shamiya is good.
But I don't really understand the whole thing.
I don't understand.
I get the black part of it to an extent.
But when you exonerate Portia and Thadra and all of the other things that you've been talking about and then you put everything on Drew again, that makes no sense to me.
If you just want to talk about the one issue, fine, I guess.
It's kind of boring and stupid.
But if you're putting everything on her, you deserve to tell her why you think that it's her behind all of these wrongdoings, all this dirty work that's going on.
You deserve to at least tell her.
Yeah, the ongoings.
God forbid that they stretch down to Atlanta, too.
So I don't know.
At some point, push is going to come to shove.
And I feel like this was her best opportunity to do that in a good setting, in a comfortable setting where you're not going to get riled up.
And still, there's still something there where she's like, I'm not dealing with this.
I'm getting out of here.
It's going to be worse when you go away.
It's going to be worse when Drew then walks back to the rest of the group and says, I still don't fucking understand what Kay Michelle's problem is.
She wouldn't even tell me.
As soon as I started getting into it, she walked away.
So now she's still got the upper hand.
So it's just not playing out the way that Kay Michelle hoped that it would.
No, we need to know who said what.
It's time for evidence.
It's very simple.
Yeah, it's time for receipts at this juncture because it's just hearsay about an issue
that the evidence you are providing us with doesn't track.
It doesn't make sense because we only seen her mention,
mention your relationship with Black one time.
So again, we're going to get more because the DMs are going to come up.
And apparently those go back to like 2012 or something.
So it's very confusing.
Yeah, it is very, very confusing.
I'm excited to genuinely excited, not just to put it to bed, but to understand what's going on.
This has been going almost the length of the season, and we have just as much info then as we do now.
But I loved that, you know, she leaves and takes Shamiya's car.
That was funny.
She leaves her own purse there.
Leaves her purse there.
Her assistant comes back to get it.
She was so discombobulated.
And Shemia going to the car, I guess she just probably pulled around the block or something, blaring the national.
anthem and singing it out the window, I thought was great.
And I think that that is a huge indicator of, okay, I think she's finding her spot.
I think she's able to have, have some fun, make light of situations.
I think, again, if we go back even just two or three weeks, this is a much different
scene, a much different reaction.
She's finding her footing.
And I think that I can, I can excuse kind of a wonky first half of her housewives career.
also, you know, she's got some trauma from loving hip hop from back in the day.
So if it took this and she's finding herself now, I'm good.
I'm cool with it.
Yeah, I'm totally fine with that.
But let's get to some questions.
All right.
First one up here from Jay Bay the Hutt 713.
You think production strong arms Shemia into inviting the ladies to Gerald's birthday?
Yes, yes.
I actually do.
I really do.
Or it was one of those situations where the season hasn't been going the way that Shemia envisioned.
it going. So she decided last minute. I might as well, if I'm throwing this big party for
Gerald, I might as well have some of the other ladies come. Who do I want to come? Shit,
it's tomorrow. Let me just throw this out there and make up an excuse. That's the vibe I got.
I don't know if it was production that did it or if she may have did it. Either way,
it was not, she did not send out last minute invites simply because she didn't want them to ruin the surprise.
Bingo. This is interesting because I think there is some money on the show right now. But
Hiba Durbus, when is Andy going to give us some real rich bitches again?
Shamiya's fucking loaded.
Yeah, Shemia is loaded.
She's just not that interesting.
Yeah, I think there's some money on this show right now.
Danger's got money.
I mean, Portia just got a new house.
I know she's well documented with weird situations with money.
Pinky's still loaded.
I mean, yeah, she's, you know, filing bankruptcy and whatnot.
That happens and her husband's loaded.
There is money here.
I mean, Charles Oakley isn't loaded, but he's got money.
I think you could throw, you know, one more really rich person in here.
I just think that they're not focusing on the wealth as much because I honestly,
I think it's because they thought that Shimea was going to step up and be center peach.
And she's, you know, the richest person on the show.
So we were going to be following her around a lot.
But no, I don't know.
One more for Colie Marie one.
Do you think Portia was plotting?
Is she involved in this, this plottingness?
Absolutely.
She's always plot.
Yeah, I think her.
I wouldn't be shocked if Drew is too.
Like Drew can pull things out of nowhere, but I just, again, the evidence isn't evidencing.
Yeah.
The way I see it is, Fadre is the overlord pulling the strings for certain situations.
So she could be involved at some point.
Portia decided that she was going to bring something up.
Maybe she mentioned it in passing to Drew in hopes that Drew was.
going to get involved because she could be a good pawn and she's just cannon fodder.
That's really it, though.
But again, it's not that deep of a situation when it comes to Housewives.
So that's why the rest of us are kind of like, all right, okay, get it together.
Agreed.
But we have an interview in like 30 minutes that we're about to do.
And we got to prep for Summer House tonight because we record immediately after that airs.
It's a big Tuesdays are long for us.
So we will take more questions next week.
But for now, that's all we got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, that's our show.
Rob Rosa out of here.
For eight years, we've been asking the same question over and over again.
How did this happen?
