Bros & Shows - Boring Situationship Island (Love Island US Recap Episodes 30 & 31)
Episode Date: July 9, 2026What's up bros? We've hit quite the hold up on this season and with such little time left, it might just be time to hurry on to the end already. While the islanders argue about boyfriend/girlfriend/si...tuationship/exclusivity, we find ourselves asking where it all went wrong. The lack of bombshells is a good place to start but we formulate some sort of reason for why this season came to a screeching halt and how we really need to just use this season as a good example of how not to do a season of Love Island. Love Island producers need to put their heads together, take a little look in the mirror,
figure out how to not do what they've done.
I would say in the last two years, this season has slowed to a screeching halt.
Nothing's happening.
And that was the lack of bombshells.
Maybe it was that, I don't know.
I am so bored.
I am so bored with this show right now.
I've never wanted a season of Love Island to end faster.
But here we are.
This is what happens.
I don't know who's at fault, but we're going to try to discuss it.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good evening, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros.
Your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody.
For whoever wants to listen, I'm your co-host.
Russell joined as always for just a week longer.
Bill of Goots.
What's up, dude?
A little less than a week.
I think it ends this weekend, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, I think Sunday's last episode.
Yeah, somebody said the 12th, I believe, which would be Sunday.
Yeah.
So Sunday's last episode, I guess it's more of on a somber note, I'm not going to blame
the producers because I completely forgot that a producer passed away while filming
Love Island this year.
So I can't imagine what is going on.
I can't imagine what they're going through.
Maybe that is part of the reason why there hasn't been a lot of twist and turns here and there.
But I don't know.
I think this is what we get.
We were all begging for a non-influencer cast.
But what we have now are people who, yeah, you know, Bay, sincere, they were track stars.
You know, they were relatively big.
I think we just have a lot of people that really want to be big, like really saw what was going on last year and the year prior and want to be.
and want to be big and don't want to step on any toes
and don't want to do anything weird.
And we had to do this discussion about exploring
versus not exploring,
but still saying that you're down to explore,
still saying that you're open.
It was all just a load of horseshit.
I think we were just kind of like leaving these people
with their own devices.
And this is what we get.
We just have a lot of people who are just complacent.
Yeah, there might be some budding romances
that might last outside the villa.
The big discussion that we have over these two episodes,
Monday night's episode,
was an absolute nothing burger.
but the big discussion that we have to have is boyfriend and girlfriend,
situation, relationships, this is your favorite thing to discuss.
So I think I just want to let you take the reins on this.
I'm just going to kick back and relax.
It started in the episode.
I was like, no, now we have to talk about this, which we vehemently disagree on.
And I think I have a loophole at least for this with it being on Love Island.
there is no point to saying that you're now exclusive.
Like, what are you talking about?
You're in the villa.
Of course you're exclusive.
Nobody else is there that you can even have a conversation with in a romantic way other
than your partner.
That was so dumb.
And like all I've gotten from Zach is he is only concerned about his perception,
how America sees him,
how everyone in the villa sees him.
He doesn't actually care about his couple.
He wants people to like him.
And you're seeing the cracks in the foundation now
because the aftermath of the vote
with him and Kada finding out there in the bottom,
now he's playing pity party.
Like it's probably me.
Everyone probably hates me.
Yeah, we do.
Because you're boring and you don't make any sense.
You don't give her good answers.
You don't give her real honest answers.
You say one thing.
Like, I love you multiple times.
They say, I was just joking.
It's a joke.
And then you say, I'm so committed to you.
Like, I see this working out on the outside.
But what if someone else comes in and I explore them?
Like, at no point are you able to just simply say, I'm really into Kada.
I hope she's into me.
I want this to work.
Then you'd have people on your team.
But you play this back and forth where we know you're lying.
And you're just, he's just a loser.
The dude's a loser.
Keda can do substantially better than Zach.
But him making a big deal out of asking her to be exclusive, if I'm Kada, I would have laughed.
And I get the setup.
Like I understand the explanation, right?
When Kenzie explains it later, it makes more sense where it's like, yeah, you don't want to go boyfriend and girlfriend in here.
You want to be exclusive on the outside for a little bit, make sure things flow and then jump into that.
Fine.
But given the circumstances that were currently it, Zach or sorry, Bryce has already asked Trinity to be his girlfriend.
He's putting together the scavenger hunt to ask T.T.
to be his girlfriend.
Making a big thing out of becoming exclusive should have been a detrimental thing.
Cater should have been like, that's all we're going to do.
Then what's the point?
Are we not already exclusive?
It just didn't make any sense to me.
It seemed like he's trying to fish for a moment, but he's too much of a pussy to say,
let's be boyfriend and girlfriend.
So he goes the exclusive route.
And it's just adding more fuel to this fire of, wow, Zach is a fucking loser.
that's why you guys are voted in the bottom.
It's not Cato's fault.
But now we have to sit here and watch as you spiral
because you're realizing that nobody likes you.
Yeah.
We kind of talked about it the other day when we did our episode.
America finally got a vote, right?
It's to vote the most compatible couple.
I know that, you know, Melanie and Sincere
get a lot of votes because people are fans of Melanie.
Trinity and Bryce are fine, whatever.
Casey got a lot of the dude vote from what I read online.
That's a lot of just dudes who are, you know,
either husbands, boyfriends, or just guys that are watching on their own,
voted for KC because it was funny.
But they got one thing right, and that's putting Trinidad or I'm sorry,
that's putting Zach and Kada in the bottom because it does do what it actually was intended.
It does put a little riff between them and makes them look inward.
Now, obviously, like you said, Zach is really just worried about his own image.
The whole boyfriend girlfriend thing is a fucking joke.
I can't.
I really can't with this whole shit.
This is an absolute joke.
The game is to close off.
If you want to do all this shit
Just close the fuck off
And you get to have a party
You get to have a whole celebration
They started Trinity and Bryce
Started this horse shit
I got the ick from them last week
I don't even care if they went anymore
The boyfriend and girlfriend thing is
Outlandish to me
They started it
Now Casey thinks that he has to do it with TT
That's the new thing
It's not the name of the goddamn game
The name of the game is to close off
Close the fuck off
Just do that
And everybody celebrates
Everybody has a great time
They're all happy for you
and you don't have to get bogged down by the semantics.
So I don't know, everybody is somehow right and wrong at the same time because even
Zach said a couple of things where he kind of echoed.
He was trying to say what Kenzie ended up saying later a lot clearer.
And it makes sense.
Yes, you don't want to become boyfriend and girlfriend in the villa.
It's bizarre.
It is bizarre because you're not tested by the real world.
You have to go meet your families.
You haven't even had family weekend yet.
You haven't met any of your parents.
You don't know where you're coming from.
You don't know what the real life is going to be like.
So don't do all that weird bullshit and tell me whatever.
It was bizarre.
It was such a weird sematical conversation
because I agreed with Trinity
by labeling Zach and Kada as a situation ship.
They got really upset about it.
Rightfully so, but it is a situation ship.
Everybody on Love Island is technically a situation ship
until you do the boyfriend girlfriend thing, which is bizarre.
But Trinity, you're wrong for that.
Zach, you were kind of right when you were explaining
that you want to test the waters while you get outside
and try to go exclusive and do all those things.
But you're wrong for your explanation because we've watched
the way that you moved the whole time.
Casey and Titi, I just don't care about Trinity.
I'm sorry.
I like that.
A lot, actually.
I just, I don't care about any of them anymore.
That's the real problem here is that I feel like so many people have been checked for moving how they actually are,
that they're now becoming versions of themselves that they're actually not.
And they don't want to show their hands even more.
So it's just a bizarre situation of a bunch of people in a villa now who aren't being themselves
because they're afraid of stepping the wrong way because everybody on the other end is going to go after them.
I mean, that's kind of what Casey did when he went to Casa, obviously.
And all of the girls coupled up against him and started yelling at him and making him feel bad.
But then the vote comes out and Kate is like, well, what the hell?
We were going after Casey and Titi.
Why are they not at the bottom?
Okay.
So now that's what you're doing.
It's just a bizarre situation now.
I feel like this just has to end.
Just put it out of its misery.
Yeah, I will say like Casey and TT, they are compatible.
Like if the vote is just compatibility, then they are, they seem to have much more chemistry than
KDN's.
should be at the bottom too.
Like it's just,
I hate the way people vote for this damn show.
Yeah,
like the fact that they got saved is so stupid,
given everything that's happened,
like sincere deserves to be out for all of his bullshit.
And you can even like Melanie and say that she shouldn't be punished for sincere's actions,
but we're talking about compatibility.
They are not compatible.
We've seen that because of how he moves.
He's done it time and time and time again.
Also,
you think Zach's going to stick around when they get out of the villa, you're nuts.
No chance.
It's God.
The second that anything remotely argumentative occurs, he's going to use that.
Like, I start working and he's going to leave.
Like, it's just not going to work out.
But having a whole episode at the end of the season centered around Kada getting her feelings
hurt because Trinity called out what it was.
By the way, was it mean?
Like, I will play devil's advocate a little bit and be like, all right, Kata is always
really happy for people.
They were trying to make this like a moment for them.
You didn't have to shit on it, I guess.
But if you look at it from Trinity's side,
I think she's being a friend and laughing at this premise of like,
what does that mean?
Like are you,
you could have just said,
like you said,
had you gone about it and said,
let's close off.
Yeah.
You have to address exclusive or boyfriend.
You're just closed off.
You avoid all of these shenanigans.
But because we went the exclusive route,
now we have to explain what that means,
why that's different.
how that doesn't equal a situation ship.
But Trinity is hearing this and simply saying,
oh,
because what it does is highlight that Zach's not ready for the next thing.
He's not actually that invested.
That's the only takeaway that comes from this whole thing.
But that's okay.
It's fine.
If they don't want to close off and you want to just say,
like I again,
the exclusivity thing I think was just Zach's feet were pushed to the fire
because Trinity and Bryce became boyfriend and girlfriend.
a very ridiculous thing.
They went to well above New Heights to do something that no one's really done.
I mean, like, yeah, it's probably been done before on Love Island or Love Island, UK.
But I still think it's utter bullshit.
Like, it's just stupid that you guys are going to go back to the real world, actually get tested.
But now your boyfriend and girlfriend, that actually means something.
So in the weird, like, middle somewhere, there's people who kind of agree with it all.
Like boyfriend and girlfriend means something.
Exclusivity doesn't really mean that.
But exclusivity could just be closing off.
but then Zach immediately goes to exclusive because he feels bad.
And he doesn't want to say closed off because somebody else already went higher.
And it's Trinity and Bryce who are their friends and they don't want to look bad.
And now they're worried about America's vote.
Like the whole thing is it's the worst kind of chaos.
Like we got into a semantical argument where someone looks worse than the other person
because their connection is not strong enough.
They're not compatible.
America hates them.
It was such a bizarre episode.
And then on the other end of that, like I said, you have Casey and Titi running around.
He's trying like, yes, they are compatible.
Sure.
She doesn't need to be your girlfriend.
Just close off.
Just trump all of them and go over and say, you know what?
Why don't we just close off?
Like there's no point in us just doing this.
And then you all of the shit just kind of goes away from there.
Like that's, I think what would have happened and said we have a scavenger hunt to be a boy.
I thought that was sweet.
Of the whole episode, that's the only moment.
I was nice.
Listen, I think that episode, again, I'm not, I probably won't even talk about Monday's episode because
unless we're just kind of drawing in Dylan, who just.
just piss both of us off for those two episodes because he's being a whining little baby i'm not
even really going to talk about monday's episode Tuesday's episode was fun and light when i don't get bogged
down by the semantics argument having the girls do a task where they have to run around and have
the boys do something fun that's a good way to kill about 20 minutes go to the water park fun
watch the boys be depressed because you got to go to the water park and they didn't also fun those
things are all great that's how you get around doing the weird like making out challenges where
we're watching at the gym or I'm watching at work and I can't do that because I have to skip
through those things. That's how you make the show fun that's not just like weird sexual tension
that we're used to getting at this point. But everything else was just kind of utter bullshit,
honestly. Like I'm just kind of bored with everything. We haven't had a bombshell in forever.
It's just, it's bizarre. It's a strange season. It's a strange. And I know I was actually applauding
it for a run of show, not that long ago. But I guess I expected it to finish on a higher note.
Like we are just limping towards the end.
Also, the vote is like the vote that we did last night is the fifth vote.
Last year there were like 12 votes.
There was a vote like twice a week at some point where it was just at least like letting the islanders know where they stand or bringing somebody back or pairing somebody up.
Like there was no recoupling really for a vote.
Like they haven't done enough votes.
It's just the whole season is just kind of weird.
Yeah, we get to vote for the final four, which.
it was so funny at the end of last night
they're showing all the couples
I'm like I don't like any of you I like KCTT
Bryce and Trinity
everyone else
don't give a shit and also don't think
your good couples like we'll talk about
the Dylan of it all like this was
fucking nuts to me
because we made that real about it
and like from where I'm sitting
yeah Kenzie moved a little weird at times
yes she did lie my issue with her
was not the way that she was moving
it was that she had smoke for Corbyn, she had smoke for Gabe,
but she's doing the same things.
That's where I saw the issue.
But from a show standpoint,
she's doing what the show's about.
She's exploring, trying to narrow it down.
She ran out of options,
and she had to land on Dylan.
That's what happened.
They're not like the most compatible couple.
It just simply worked out that way,
and I will die on that hill.
But she does not owe Dylan
a fucking explanation.
She doesn't, oh, dude,
you were not even in the fucking villa
and you are so goddamn insecure
that you're sitting like,
well, how am I supposed to trust you
when you say this and do that?
And then you went made out with gall.
Oh, did she?
Were you guys exclusive?
Were you guys even a couple at that point?
I don't even know.
I don't think you'd pick there yet.
So what are you talking about, brother?
The fact that he's getting so upset
and emotional.
This is coming from me.
who's very emotional.
Brother, grow the fuck up.
Stop crying, for starters.
Stop getting your panties in a bunch over this shit.
She didn't do anything wrong.
And then she's telling you for a week because you're so insecure.
She has to tell you for a week.
I'm really into you.
I want this to work.
I want you to meet my family.
You said to other guys that they wanted to meet your family.
So it doesn't mean anything to fuck you, man.
Yeah.
Just hard fuck you because I'm not even like mad at it.
It's just like embarrassing.
I hope he watches this back and cringes forever,
but I don't think he will.
He was starting to cry well talking to her about this whole thing.
Like,
well,
you weren't on the show.
His mom was there.
What is his mom?
God.
Fuck.
Like what a loser that guy is.
Honestly,
I think when you look back at this season when we get like further into the US
seasons,
you're going to look back at the season.
and obviously not really want to rewatch any of it.
Don't want to see any of them on Beyond the Billow, which they're going to force us to do.
Why don't we go ahead and take a quick little ad break here and we'll get back to the rest of the episode.

The war is over and both sides lost.
were reduced to cinders, an army scattered like bones in the dust.
Now the survivors claw to what's left of a broken world, praying.
The darkness chooses someone else tonight,
but in the shadow dark, the darkness always wins.
This is old school adventuring at its most cruel.
Your torch ticks down in real time,

Hi, we're Meg Bashminer.
And Joseph Fing.
of Welcome to Nightvail, and on our new show, The Best Worst, we explore the Golden Age of Television.
To do that, we're watching the IMDB viewer-rated best and worst episodes of classic TV shows.
The episode of Star Trek, where Beverly Crusher has sex with a ghost, the episode of the X-Files,
where Scully gets attacked by a vicious house cat.
And also, the really good episodes, too.
What can we learn from the best and worst of great television?
Like, for example, is it really a bad episode, or do people just hate women?
The Best Worst.
available wherever you get your podcasts.
It's almost like an experimental season.
Like, hey, instead of testing them with new bombshells,
instead of testing them with weird challenges and trying to ruffle some feathers,
let's just leave them alone and see what happens.
Let's see if they start doing things.
Kenzie's the only one, if that was the experiment,
Kenzie's the only one who actually tried to experience outside of her couple.
She's the only one who went to other people.
Like, yeah, Corbyn did it when he went to CASA.
And yeah, Kenzie kind of did it loosely when Caleb came in,
but that was the last bombshell to come in.
so that's bizarre.
So it's almost like they just left them again by themselves,
like, oh, maybe if we get like a weird love triangle situation
with a couple different couples, it could be good.
No, they all really closed off like week two.
And then they got mad at each other for wanting to explore.
They got mad at each other for even opening their mouths about being open in the relationship.
Nothing else happens.
Like you guys really didn't test them.
I thought that was the whole point of the show.
And instead it's like, nah, we're just going to see what happens.
We're just going to leave them alone, see what happens.
We'll go to Casa, we'll come back.
When you go to Casa, like, yes, Corbyn and Kenzie, the way Corbyn was moving, that was bound to happen.
Then you had two singles.
So you're bound to get a couple more people from Casa coming in.
But after that, no one experimented.
You bring back Carl, you bring back Amora.
Carl's basically just...
You brought back Carl for Anaya.
For Anaya specifically, which like, yeah, they're cute.
Fine.
I don't see anything there necessarily.
You bring back Amora just a test sincere.
He's now learning from his mistakes.
but that's because he knows that the eyes are on him.
If you bring back a bunch of bombshells,
if you throw some people out there,
things might happen.
Bring back somebody that looks exactly like soul.
Maybe ruffle that feather again.
I don't know.
There's so many more things that I feel like they should have done.
And it's almost like they just kind of gave up.
Like, all right, press the CASA button.
We'll just leave them to their own devices and see what happens.
And it just didn't work out.
It really didn't work out at all.
It did not work at all.
And I knew as soon as the hideaway was open,
I'm like, they're going to pick Melanie and sincere.
They shouldn't.
There's absolutely zero.
reason they should be going in there.
That's a funny thing.
Go back, but go through the couples.
They weirdly, I got mad about this last night while watching.
They shouldn't.
My initial reaction of course, like, fucking why.
There's no sense.
Go back through the couples now.
Trinity and Bryce got their date.
Zach and Kada already went in.
Are you gonna throw in Nia and Carl in there?
No.
You're gonna throw Kenzie and Dylan in there?
Not really.
Bryce and Trinity can go in.
Like, that's a better choice to me than Melanie and sincere.
But I think the way that they work and the way they operate is,
Oh, we already had our time.
We got a special thing.
We got to go on our date.
Like, that's enough.
You guys can go ahead.
That's kind of where it is,
especially for Trinity and Bryce.
They're like, yeah, why not?
Go ahead.
I love Melanie.
They don't need it.
I get it.
But yeah, once I started going through the motions and like the mental gymnastics of
figuring it out,
I'm like,
why is Melanie and sincere the best couple to go into hideaway?
Why am I agreeing with that?
That pissed me off even more.
It just,
it drove me nuts and like watching the shift happen.
And look,
I get like,
especially in the show,
the landscape of the show, like you have to be able to move forward and move on, whatever.
But now you have people like full blown team sincere on the show like, oh, like, yeah, love these two
together.
Like they're so great together.
It's like, do we forget everything that happened?
And now we're going to send them off to the hideaway.
Like that shit didn't all just happen because that doesn't make any fucking sense to me.
But everyone's acting as though like, ah, it's water under the, it was two days ago.
Like, this is not fresh.
We watched movie night.
legit what five days ago like that's still pretty fresh i we shouldn't be better at this than there
than they are but they should have sent the girls to the water park and then drop three bombshells in
yes like yeah the girls are gone where they go trying to figure it out an hour later three bombshells
pop up why not like actually test them and see what happens and then let it get back to melanie
that sincere was fucking around a little bit let them stay somewhere send them to casa for the
night after their water park and have them throw like a pajama party or something so that there's
a full overnight and then you're wondering what the boys are doing but you don't know what's going on
and then you get some sort of weird requests like oh yeah by the way the boys have been partying
with the bombshells like that's that's enough to at least throw things into a bit of a frenzy
test them one more time and that would be enough i feel like for the last week and then you
kind of see how it all plays out because we only have a couple episodes left but like i just
don't understand the thinking with the show go and get their application
to be on the show because I would imagine somewhere it says what's your type and go out and find
those people like to the tea find everyone's like exact type on paper and bring that in at the
very yet especially for sincere and throw it out there and see what the fuck happens but instead no
we go to the water park we watch kata get upset because she announces like that was actually
funny.
Got big news.
We're exclusive.
Yay.
What does that mean?
If you like it,
I love it,
bitch.
That was a great line.
I'm glad that Trinity gave us that.
But like,
that's the extent of what's going on.
And then we have to watch Kada and Zach,
like break the whole thing down.
And again,
Zach's only speaking from a place of like,
oh, God,
people don't like me.
I can't put up with that.
That's not okay.
I don't really care about you,
Katie, but people don't like me,
Zach.
And that's not good at all.
And then you got Dylan crying.
You got Kenzie saying the same thing for a week trying to convince Dylan that she is into him.
And then what?
Like I don't, I don't, I guess I don't understand at what point were they agreeing, like you said, to just let them go.
Let's see what happens with them.
And then at what point?
Because this show is happening currently.
Like it's live.
So at what point during this shoot, are you like, fuck, we need to do something.
We need to throw something out there because this is getting stale as shit.
Nothing's going on.
Maybe we should throw a bombshell.
I don't know.
I don't know what the answer is.
Do some crazy challenge where you have to make out with each other again.
See if you can piss somebody off because they went too far.
Like the heartbeat challenge,
our heart rate challenge last year with Huda and Ace.
Ace.
And that threw everything off.
Like that was random,
but it worked.
And I don't know why.
I don't want to watch people to sit around and talk for a fucking.
I don't even know.
I don't even know if there's an after set on Saturday or if they're going to give us another episode.
But, I mean, we know that it's family night.
We're going to get family night tomorrow night, Thursday night.
And then they're going to do what they did last year and do those like individual dates within your couple.
And then that's it.
And then you come home and you send a couple people home who aren't in the top four.
And then you have the top four.
Like we're done.
We are done with the seasons.
There's nothing going to happen.
There's not going to be a weird bombshell.
they threw a weird bombshell in there last year, I think, didn't they?
I think so.
Yeah, they threw it in like at the very end just to see what was going to happen.
It just didn't work.
I just, I do not know.
Like the season is over.
The season is fully over.
This is our second to last episode, I would imagine.
So I just, I don't know.
This is just, it ended up not being a very good season.
Yeah, unfortunately.
And the finish is kind of putting that last nail in the coffin.
It's interesting because like.
I really like Carl.
I like Anaya and Carl.
But I don't know if I've seen enough of them to like vote them to be.
I'm at this juncture.
They're going to be in the top four.
You want to guess on who's in the top four?
I'm okay with them being.
I'm okay with them.
It's going to be Melanie and sincere,
which is fucking,
if you really want to like actually have a decent send off,
send them home before the finale.
And at least we'll have a moment.
Yeah, Ace and Shelley got sent home.
Ace and Shelley surprisingly got sent home.
If you do that with Melody and Sincere,
you at least wrap up the season on a better note.
There's no reason that they should be in the final.
I can see Ania and Carl fight because I think that they're cute together.
Bryce and Trinity,
obviously they're going to win.
I think that you could make an argument for Casey and TT winning.
Actually, I think they're extremely compatible.
I think that Bryce and Trinity have been locked out of the entire time.
So that makes the most sense.
And they genuinely seem that they're going to date outside of this.
And then the fourth couple,
I don't fucking know.
Dylan and Kenzie, no.
Absolutely not.
Mellin and sincere. No.
Fuck, no.
Kate and Zach, no.
With their exclusive boyfriend,
girlfriend, not boyfriend and girlfriend,
bullshit. That gets them out.
No. So,
like, you need to have a final three.
I have a final two.
But like, it just didn't land.
Nobody, I don't care.
I'm not invested in anybody.
I really don't care.
I mean, I personally left,
um,
I had to pitch.
Kenzie and Dylan because I left out Zach and Keda and Melanie and sincere.
It's not going to matter.
It just won't matter anyway.
But yeah, if it shapes up the way that it probably should, it's just Trinity and Brice are going
to win.
And then second place, maybe Anaya and Carl and then Casey and TT and Melanie and sincere.
Kenzie and Dylan will probably not survive that.
And neither will.
Where the fuck else am I missing?
Oh, Zach and Kada.
Exactly.
Hate it won't make it.
That'll be enough.
Like send them home.
Yeah,
it's still not going to hit the same.
I just,
I do not know how you walk away in the next week watching this show.
When you've watched it for five weeks like we have,
everybody else has,
and then feel good about it.
Like, oh,
that was worth my time.
Yep.
We invested so hard into this for no ROI.
There was nothing.
But let's get to some questions.
We'll answer a bunch since we don't have a lot to talk about.
Yeah. First one up here from Josie T. Bear is dating slash being exclusive with
somebody and being boyfriend girlfriend, not the same thing. That's my stance. I talk about it all
the time. I don't understand the fucking difference. Like, it's just semantics. It's just you trying
to make yourself feel better about a situation to not feel more invested in something that you
don't want to be invested in. But meanwhile, you're moving about it as though you were boyfriend and
girlfriend. I think it's dumb. But I guess that sounds like that sounds like.
it works. It is how
it works and that is actually how it works.
Jamie Gibbs also said
can steal explain being exclusive versus being
boyfriend girlfriend. I know he loves these nuances.
I don't. It drives me of a fucking wall.
Like if it makes people feel like, that's
all it does. It makes people
feel better. So they're like, whoa, whoa,
whoa. I don't know if it's up. We're just exclusive.
It is. Yeah. I think it's stupid.
If you break up when your boyfriend, girlfriend,
it's an actual breakup. If you're exclusive
with somebody, it's a break off, which is a little
better.
And it doesn't, it doesn't, it's not hard.
It's just semantics.
It's just people telling themselves different things.
That's no different.
You've also never really dated like that ever in your life.
So it does make sense.
So I can look at it from an objective standpoint of like, yeah, if you want to tell yourself
that, fine, if that makes you feel better.
But if you look at it objectively at the situation, that's no different, period.
Whatever you say, Boomer.
Let's see.
Nicolette Banner.
Did Casey's comment about T.T.
showing him that she's quote unquote
worthy make you guys sick to.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's worthy to Katie.
He was very weird to say.
I forgot about that.
That was bizarre.
And that's what's weird about Casey is he'll have a lot of moments where he says
like really sweet things.
And then he says shit like that.
I'm like, dude.
Yeah.
Like red pill kind of shit.
What do you mean she's worthy to date you?
I don't think you're worthy to date her if you're going to say shit like that.
Like that doesn't make sense.
And T.T.
doesn't strike me as a woman that's going to watch that back and be like, aw, I think she's
what the fuck does that mean? What are you talking about? God. I'll save that one for the end,
I guess. Kay Loker Woods, do you think the Kada doesn't understand the exclusive title? She's just
acting that she's excited? Yeah, actually. Yes, I do. I think she's trying to do the old, I'm really
excited about this. You have to be excited because you can't let me down anymore. I think she is
making herself get amped up for it because she was expecting more got that and didn't want to
throw a wrench into everything and be like, what does that mean? Like what? We're not going to go
further than what do you mean? We are exclusive. We're in a villa where we're not talking to
anybody else. Like that's fucking exclusive, dude. Good point. Oh, Alison McDuffie. I keep wondering,
do you think that the death of that producer this season threw production off. Yeah, I genuinely do. I
genuinely do. I'm not faulting production for this. Obviously, we'd like to get our time back from
being invested in this because the season should have gone a lot differently. But if that is truly
what comes out, which I imagine we'll get some sort of someone's going to do an interview at some point
and it's going to get back to us. I would truly not blame them for that. Yeah. Yeah. If it's
an off season because of that, then I will understand. Yeah.
Chavon B. Ham
There you go.
Couples power.
Why is there a gun to our head?
Couples power ranking gun to your head edition.
I don't know.
People just like to put guns to our head, I guess.
It's kind of rude.
I think we'll probably agree.
I think we'll be close.
You might be one or two, but.
We'll go first, Trinity and Bryce.
Yep.
Second, I'll go Casey and T.
Yep.
Third, I'll go Aniah Carl.
Yeah, just because I like them better than the other couples.
Correct.
This is where it's going to get a little murky, but I guess,
I guess I would,
Dylan really pissed me off.
I can't.
I got to go Kada and Zach above them.
Yeah,
yeah,
Kada and Zach above them,
then this is where I get fucked because I don't,
well,
I want to put Dylan and Kenzie and Sonceney and Sincer last.
I want to put them all last.
Yeah, we can do that.
It's our show.
We do whatever the hell we want.
There's no five, but six is Melanie, sincere, Dylan, and Kenzie.
Better yet.
By the way, there's no four.
There's only five and six.
And we'll put Zach and Kate at five with nobody at four.
Okay.
I like that.
And then six is Melanie sincere, Dylan and Kenzie.
And that's the thing.
If Dylan wasn't such a bitch boy, they would be probably further up.
Yeah.
Like, Kenzie is fine.
I think she did the show the right way.
I don't understand why she's catching as much shit as she is.
And that's again, like where in lies the problem.
All of the people that attempted to do what the show tells you to do were ostracized for being lustful.
Like it's just not, it didn't flow.
It wasn't a flowy season.
It was not.
We hit a snag and damn it, it really, I was cool until we started reaching the end.
And that's when the cracks really showed because I was.
then thinking back on things because I was expecting something to liven it up and it would have
kind of forgiven a lot of those episodes of like, oh, not really much is going on.
Yeah.
But when you do that and then there is no payoff and then we coast into the end of the season
and you get multiple couples in the final four that do not deserve to be there at all.
I would rather Beah and Gabe be in this shit.
Like there's other people that were on this show during this season that would have delivered
a much better product.
And I know that's hindsight.
I know that you can't pick and choose who's going to stay.
But you could pick and choose a little bit,
a little bit more than this.
Throw more wrenches in.
I want a bombshell every other night next year.
Just fucking chaos for the love of God.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This show definitely peaked beginning of Casa.
And then it's all downhill from there.
Yeah.
But again, like that was my whole thing.
I'm like, all right,
Casa was nuts.
Settle down.
And then bam,
we're going to drop something else.
But no, you let it settle.
You let it settle to the point that it's no longer moving.
It's a stagnant love island villa.
Sure is.
That's not fun.
Nope.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's a bummer.
Like we put so much time and effort into watching and covering this and like, I wanted way more.
What it's so much more.
I love it.
I love it when we're like, yeah, we don't really have anything else to talk about.
We feel bad.
It's like right around 30 minutes.
And you're like, well, yeah, I mean, it's just a bummer.
It just reiterate the same.
I know because I don't want to.
I'm like thinking it through it.
I'm just like,
fuck.
Like it's just annoying.
It's just annoying.
That's all.
But we'll see how it wraps up.
We will of course do our due diligence and report back to you guys,
as we always do,
despite it being a big old nothing burger.
But yeah,
that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Yeah.
I mean,
it's just a bummer.
Hell,
yeah, brother.
We invested a lot of time.
We did.
It's,
frustrating.
You're so easy to get going.
People don't know.
Like,
it's hard to cover this show and cover everything else.
And like,
we like this show,
so I'm not complaining.
It's just like,
and then we get this.
It's like,
damn it.
Just fucking annoying.
Damn it.
Yeah,
you know I will go off every time
that you lead me into something.
Like,
that's not,
you don't get praise for,
for that layup.
But as I said,
that's all I got.
Do you got anything else?
Yeah, didn't you see
The Southern Charm premiere?
I was really hoping that you would lead it off one more time.
I appreciate that was funny.
Well done.
Well done.
But that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Ah, I really wanted you do it one more time.
That would have really hammered at home.
That would have been funny to you and me and nobody else.
But all right, that's our show.
Rob Brod bro.
Later.
Reality TV is messy.
Pop culture is louder than ever.
And the internet.
Completely unhinged.
Welcome to Roxanne and Chantel.
The podcast where Cousin's Roxanne and Chantel break down reality TV, celebrity drama, and the stories everyone's texting about.
We recap the shows, spill the headlines, and sit down with the stars themselves.

Just the tea.
New episodes every week.
If it's trending, we're talking about it.
This is Roxanne and Chantel.
Let's get into it.
Hi, I'm Whitney.
And I'm Katie.
And we're the hosts of True Crime Campfire.
We set out to make a true crime podcast we'd want to listen to.
We get right to the story.
We don't do a lot of extra talking.
And when we do, it's usually to roast the short hairs off of some loser, murderer, or scammer.
You laugh, but only at the people who deserve it.
Like, which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker?
BTK and his awful poetry.
Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was.
We look for the stranger than fiction stories, like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the internet was even a thing.
Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry who convinced his town he'd won the lottery,
fleeced local businesses out of thousands, and then became a romance scammer.
We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of.
Colts, scammers, killers.
So come find your next great binge.
Listen to True Crime Campfire on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
