Starting point is 00:00:57 with the mid-season trailer, we're already halfway through. I feel like this season's flown by. Yeah, I feel like the way that you have to look at this season is in so many different parts. We've got, uh, we'll just keep it simple. We'll just go BK and A-K before Kenya, after Kenya. Oh, yeah, like B.C. Yeah. Wait, does that mean that Kenya's Jesus?
Starting point is 00:01:17 According to some people. Yeah. I've got to have rid of my bros and shows. Good evening, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of Bros and Shows. I'm your co-host, Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only shooter Magouter. What's up, dude?
Starting point is 00:01:40 Not a whole lot. Like you said, this Atlanta season is just flying by. It's been very enjoyable. So we'll start it off like that because, you know, anytime that you mention she who should not be named, people assume that you're negging the season and that you're complaining. But we're not. because it's actually very enjoyable. Angela is up for an award that no longer exists anymore
Starting point is 00:02:01 that we will not speak about. But she has, is it breathed, breathed new life? I always struggle with that one. You know what? Probably just keep it smart and just say she is a breath of fresh air. We'll do that. That's easier. But breathed,
Starting point is 00:02:16 even though that's the franchise is a correct way to say it. Yeah. But I agree. I think she's been fantastic. I think Kelly's been great. Brit stinks. There's no other way around it. it like she's just not cut out for this show and I think that's becoming more and more evident as
Starting point is 00:02:32 we go on and that's the thing if you can't be successful after what happened yeah that's the easiest season ever you just need to ride the coattails of controversy and she was incapable of doing that she keeps trying to be the antagonizer in certain situation it's like dude just like chill you're you could just sit back and coast now and you would have had a good season but you keep trying to go after people and you never land it never lands yeah i'll preface by my point by saying that i do not like britt at all anytime that it's just her like her family scenes are tough and we're going to talk about this but when she's on with no one else and there's really no bearing on the rest of the storylines that are going on with people that i actually care about i i can't stop myself in tuning out like
Starting point is 00:03:17 i just want nothing to do with it i'm like you're not doing anything i don't like you most of the people don't like you and like you said she could have just had the easiest see ever. And I get it because I don't try to, it's kind of giving her credit. But when it comes down to it, you would imagine that the rest of the cast members probably would have just let her slide the rest of the season like, ugh, yeah, you went through a lot. She could easily slide the rest of the season, get a second season. Now I do know that at that, especially at that brunch, there were some questions thrown around, but she could have easily answered a lot of those questions and moved on with her life and probably been fine. Instead, because of what she's been doing for the whole
Starting point is 00:03:52 season. Most people that are watching this do not enjoy her and do not want her for another season. So she's doing this to herself at this point. Yeah, I agree. But let's get into it. And we start out with like the trip ending recap with, uh, Bailey PI, Cynthia Bailey private investigators doing some digging. And we're going over the Angela situation with Shemia, Cynthia, and Kelly. And obviously we heard the aftermath of like things that were set at the pool. We didn't get clarification as to who said what specifically. So this shed some light on it. Britt is the one that said that Charles has a baby with somebody else.
Starting point is 00:04:30 So again, she's calling smoke to herself that she doesn't want. She can't stand up to Angela, as we're going to see later. But Portia, obviously, we get confirmation that she said that she should fuck Charles, which again, given her track record and the speculation on potentially boinking husbands should probably not make jokes about boinking husbands. We just shouldn't. And we find ourselves in this particular brand of hot water in Housewife shows way too often. Let's just, unless there is some smoke around the marriage and you can see some things going on like we've seen in Beverly Hills this past year and the person involved in the marriage is talking about their issues.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Yeah, then it's fair game. I'm okay with that. If somebody that you do not like is complaining about their marriage and it gets back to you, use that as ammo. Fine. Go for it. But Angela is not talking in a negative way about her husband. We're not talking about Charles Oakley in particular in a negative way. I hope this gets back to him because I am afraid of him.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Same. Yeah. So when it comes down to it, just leave the marriages out of it. It gets too messy. Nobody really likes to watch that because then you're just stirring up rumors that don't really exist. And I still haven't seen anything to the likes of this is what Charles is doing. Because how many Bravo investigators self-proclaimed are out there just looking and digging and going through all this? We haven't seen any pictures of Charles with a baby with another woman.
Starting point is 00:05:51 So no, we're not going down this road. It's just slimy and we don't like it. Yeah. And for the people that aren't totally, I do think that most people kind of, if you're not familiar with basketball, get how big of a star Charles Oakley is now. But in the sports world, like, if he was bopping around with a baby mama somewhere, like you would hear about it. It would be all over all the sports dog shows and everything.
Starting point is 00:06:13 It wouldn't be a small deal. Like when he had his whole issue at the garden, And that was national news for weeks, getting that whole thing squared away. So if he was running around with another woman, like, he would actually have paparazzi on him, unlike Mauricio and P.K. in the airport, like, Charles Oakley would have pictures taken of him. So I haven't seen anything. I did some digging on Twitter just to like, I wonder if anything will pop up if you search for it. I've found absolutely nothing, not even like Reddit threads.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Here's actually, I think this is probably the closest comparison that we can come up with. Juan Dixon, who is nobody in the basketball world, who had a pretty good college career, became in the NBA. How many pictures of him with other women did we see? How big of a focal point was that during Potomics? We'll call that the end of the dark seasons, because it was very miserable. At the end of that, we saw so many pictures of Juan Dixon. Everybody was talking about him walking around with other women. He's nothing in the basketball world.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Charles Oakley is something, and we would know about this. So hopefully that paints it in the right way. Yeah. And just to shout out, I'm so glad Potomac's back in the right direction. Last season was so much better. So I'm glad that they're finally hitting their stride, even if it took the Grandin going to jail to get there. You know, it certainly did. And one poor deer. And one very poor dear that we still haven't caught and brought to justice for crashing her car. But anyway, Cynthia and Porsche have a conversation. And Porsche's going with the, I don't remember. That's fine. I believe that there is. rough camera footage of that like there's got to be if they have the audio of what they have so far from that pool side scene i would imagine there's audio of her saying it but i also just believe angela angela wasn't wasted at 3 a m they were it wasn't just angela but kelly also confirmed it too like there's multiple sources that are confirming it and we know verbatim what she
Starting point is 00:08:02 has said because multiple people have said the exact same thing now obviously it's not that complex of a situation but yeah i agree with you i find myself every time that we flash back to of whatever camera that is that's coming off of the house that's kind of like scanning around like a summer house camera in the corner of a yeah it's something like that i would imagine we would have more and every time they go back to this same clip which we've now seen six times so there probably isn't more but i'm sure something's going to pop up yeah more more than likely but angela decided to text shemia a very long text from what i gather because they they speed through the whole thing but the important things to take from the text are angela has nothing
Starting point is 00:08:40 something else to say. This is a fake-ass sisterhood. And be blessed, which if you end it with be blessed, bless your heart. Bless your heart. That, that's another way of saying, bless your heart. But we find out that the Bailey Q is set for Juneteenth in celebration, uh, an honor of that day. So we're going to get to that later. But we get to a potty. P-P-A-W-T-Y. It's, I guess it's potty, potty, but it makes it sound like you're saying to Boston accent and you're not. It's a P-A-W-T-Y for Chacha, Kelly's dog. This party, easily 20-K? What do you think?
Starting point is 00:09:16 She said something like that on the after show. I think she said it was over 10K. And then obviously we found out that just the, I don't even want to call it like, what do we call it? We'll call it the glam squad for the fucking dog. That has gotten up to $1,000 pretty much every time that she goes. That's wild. I've turned.
Starting point is 00:09:35 So a couple of weeks ago, we did. get a nice story and we we reiterate that in this week as well that you know cha cha cha was stolen so now this is a way to make sure that cha cha never goes missing again because everybody will be able to identify my dog because she is the most beautiful dog with the best highlights and all of the best things i i've done a 180 i don't like it anymore it's too much dog should not look like that i'm sorry was the what was it for you the lashes were the lashes the last straw i know that you would know exactly when my, uh, when the levy would break. And it's the lashes, I had a feeling, but,
Starting point is 00:10:12 Brit and Kelly have a little conversation. And as we know from last week, Brit's mom is moving in with her. The sister's helping her pack. We know that they all have some kind of a strange relationship ever since the father passed away. It's very confusing. And we've also, someone pointed out, I believe on Twitter, there now are multiple things going on as to why the sisters don't actually like Britt,
Starting point is 00:10:36 so we can't really lock it down. All I can say is they're clearly going through it from the father passing way. I do know that. We'll talk about it more later. But I don't think, like, is it that she sold her company and it drove a wedge between him? Is it because their dad passed away? And ever since then, they've all been grieving differently. It's very, very hard to pin down.
Starting point is 00:10:58 But Cher, her sister's been supportive. Sierra's been supportive. but Sierra and Cher are not cool with each other. Yeah. It's a lot. It's a lot. Now, look, I think that Brick could probably do herself a lot of justice by starting this off by saying, look, we're going through a lot of different things.
Starting point is 00:11:16 All families do. My father passed away. We're all handling our grief differently. Pretty much all of the things that you laid out. And then she could just end it with. And then there's a whole mess of a bunch of other situations and leave it at that. But I feel like because she started this off saying this is exactly what drove the wedge between me and my sisters and then when we talk about it again she seems to change the story
Starting point is 00:11:35 change the story a little bit more a little bit more i do think the correct answer is there's a lot of shit going on in my family you can point to a b c or d and it could be a little bit more depending on who you ask fine and we would leave it at that and i think we as a as a fandom would probably move on from it because it's it's murky and it's family stuff so who cares you guys are going to deal with it how you're going to deal with it but brit just never does herself enough justice she always just She has such a definitive answer and then she changes that answer like 10 minutes later and it just doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Yep, I agree. But we keep moving and we get to Porsche with her mom, Miss Diane. Portia gets a dog for Pilar, the dog, I believe will be named Peanut Butter. I believe it is. Got its own title card. Yep, great.
Starting point is 00:12:17 That's important. Title card makes it official. Oh, yeah. So that's the official dog's name, but they're doing a little Nashville recap. And Porsche brings up the alleged phone call from Dennis that drew, or about Dennis, I guess that Drew and Dennis have been
Starting point is 00:12:31 filming together despite her wishes for them not to film together you called this out last week we have not gotten any footage or confirmation that that phone call occurred I think it did you're under the impression it did not correct I'm under the impression that it happened
Starting point is 00:12:47 I am under the impression that it did not happen exactly when Porsche tells us it happens this actually kind of bothered me even more because again and my my whole takeaway from what happened last week was Porsche's known about this and she has just kind of set her sights on this is my storyline and I've got I can just mail it in for the rest of the year because then I just put it on Drew and Dennis.
Starting point is 00:13:07 I get mad at Dennis. I don't talk to Drew until the very end of the season where I can blow it up to crazy proportions, then go to the reunion and that's all we talk about. That's the easiest season possible and I feel like she's just mailing it in. Last week really annoyed me because she even says in this scene, I could have blown it up. I could have gone nuclear on this woman who's sitting over here, but I didn't. And I'm like, well, you do it. If it did happen then and your emotions are that high and it's your birthday,
Starting point is 00:13:34 you can cry if you want to, go after Drew. Why are you not? Why are you holding back? If not to just prolong the situation. So you don't really have to figure anything else out. So that's what kind of bothered me. And I feel like this kind of confirmed that there. Yeah, that's fair.
Starting point is 00:13:47 I do think that if she holds true to her conversation with Dennis later, maybe this is a turning point, hopefully in the season for her, where she's saying that she's going to move on. Like my fingers are crossed for that because I do think. think she belongs on the screen, I just think we have not gotten from Portia what I thought we were going to get from Portia. And that's frustrating. But it could be because of, look, maybe she's just not being, she is pretty open about
Starting point is 00:14:10 the divorce, but maybe the divorce is really dragging her down a lot more than she's telling us. So maybe she deserves a little bit of grace. I'm not really sure about that. And again, this season is very good. So I am nitpicking a bit and I'm only nitpicking the people that I know can do better. And I know Porsche can do a lot better. And I feel like we're, we're not.
Starting point is 00:14:28 seeing a lot from her in that realm when you've got something here on a platter go after drew who we've seen cannot defend herself when you go after her in the right way that would be entertaining to watch because you do have a leg to stand on right here after seeing that conversation that you have with dennis in the car a couple of weeks ago do it now don't prolong this because either do or don't you know what i mean stop talking about it you're not going to do anything don't don't just be complacent about it i agree but we keep trekking to shemia a meeting with With Shadena, who was her previous surrogate, we've heard all about that crazy story, how Shadena had cancer during the pregnancy with Shiloh, which has potentially led to some of the health issues that she's going through now. But the relationship between these two, I think, is awesome.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Like, they're both so supportive. And Shadena is actually now helping her with the surrogacy process with Asha. Asha. Yeah, Asha. Yeah. Asha. So finding a new surrogate and, like, going through IVF and all these things. has been clearly stressful. Then she's talked about the fact that Gerald wants a boy and Gerald has given her so much
Starting point is 00:15:35 that she believes it's her duty to give him a son. So she's going through this whole journey again, which I'm sure is nerve-wracking, considering what happened last time. But yeah, absolutely. The fact that she has, like, support around her is really cool watching this whole. I thought this scene was just, like, cool to watch, like, the process. It is. And this might, it might sound a little fucked up.
Starting point is 00:15:56 But I want to know how much Asha is getting good. paid. Can somebody please tell me? I believe that's like fairly public knowledge as far as sir. It's probably is, but I was, I was just disappointed that Bravo didn't do the, I mean, we do it with all the cars, all the rolls voices that we see in the show.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Show me how much, but I know, no, I know, but show me how much Osh is getting paid because I want to know. And I know that it's a very expensive thing, but yeah, I don't know. I was just curious. I just feel like in a housewife show, I should know that information. Okay, so here you go. Surrogate compensation varies,
Starting point is 00:16:28 generally first term surrogates in the U.S. can expect to earn between 50K and 90K, while experienced surrogates may earn from 60,000 to 110,000. These amounts are base pay and don't include additional allowances for medical expenses, legal fees, or lost wages. There we go. I just really wanted that little editor note at the bottom.
Starting point is 00:16:53 That would have been helpful. It would have been nice. I am your editor note now, so you're welcome. There we go. Thank you. You're welcome. Hey, Michael. Hey, Tom.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Well, big news to share it, right? Yes, huge, monumental, earth shaking. Heartbeat, sound effect, big. Mait is back. That's right. After a brief snack nap. We're coming back. We're picking snacks.
Starting point is 00:17:15 We're eating snacks. We're raiding snacks. Like the snackologist we were born to be. Mates is back. Mike and Tom, eat snacks. Wherever you get your podcast. Unless you get them from a snack machine, And in which case, it calls us.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Are you looking for a movie review show where the critic is at the top of his or her game, meticulously breaking down and explaining exactly why a film does or does not work? Well, good luck with the search. Because we're having fun here on Adam does movies. Each and every week, I hit the big blockbusters, I cover the streamers, and I even toss in some movie news for fun. Check out the show on Spotify, on Apple Podcasts, on YouTube. And hopefully, we can do movies together.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Hot. Goodbye, summer movies, hello fall. I'm Anthony Devaney. And I'm his twin brother, James. We host Raiders of the Lost Podcast, the Ultimate Movie Podcast, and we are ecstatic to break down late summer and early fall releases. We have Leonardo DiCaprio leading a revolution in one battle after another, Timothy Salome playing power ping pong in Marty Supreme.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Let's not forget Emma Stone and Yorgo, Slantanth The most is Bagonia. Dwayne Johnson, he's coming for that Oscar. In The Smashing Machine, Spike Lee and Denzel teaming up again, plus Daniel DeLuis's return from retirement. There will be plenty of blockbusters to chat about two. Tron Aries looks exceptional. Plus Mortal Kombat 2.
Starting point is 00:18:43 And Edgar writes, The Running Man starring Glenn Powell. Search for Raiders of the Lost podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. But let's get to Charles and Angela as they're working out. And, you know, Charles, worked out his whole career so now he's taking it out on Angela I guess I'm not really sure but they're recapping the Nashville trip
Starting point is 00:19:04 Charles's commentary is unmatched his responses are hysterical because it's a very rational approach and you can tell once again he hasn't watched these shows and doesn't know how they work because she's
Starting point is 00:19:18 she's like we know I invited Drew and he's like how are you going to invite someone else to Nashville like what the fuck's the matter with you I wouldn't do I just really love it because we also get the parallel commentary of Angela and our confessional explaining the dynamic of their relationship and how Charles operates. He is the, he always likes to play devil's advocate. He's always going to just be the contrarian going against what she's saying. It kind of
Starting point is 00:19:40 keeps them balanced and she appreciates it. So if we saw that without this context, yes, I'm still going to laugh at it. But if it gets too far, it's like, all right, Charles, just support your wife at some point, buddy. But the way that she phrases it and the way that she, you know, shines a light on everything, it's like, all right, this is great. I love this. That's just they're dynamic and it is interesting to watch as they're working through everything you know like brit is talking for portia and that's where he's like can't portia speak for herself then she have a big mouth i'm like oh maybe you have watched the shows maybe you have watched these because that's some pretty top tier housewife are he going on from charles either that or angela's just been
Starting point is 00:20:15 talking a lot about portion and he's like all right i have an idea of who this woman is that could be it too and angela brings it the fact that she asked her like why did you take that woman's husband. And he's like, why would you ask that? He's like, how do you know that? He's like, well, the streets are not a reliable source. He's like, if we're trusting what the streets are saying, you have a baby that I don't know about. Like, that was the funniest part for me is she's like the streets. And he's like, dude, if you listen to them. Why are we doing this? Yeah. That holds me culpable. But it's just like the entire like overarching plan of this whole conversation is just Charles saying, why are you, why are you doing this? What are you doing? What the hell's going on? And that
Starting point is 00:20:58 brings us back to the original point. He probably has not watched these shows before. He does not know how this works. No, I don't think so. But she does bring up the fact that the girls are talking shit about him, apparently having some sidepiece in New York City that he potentially has a baby with. And that is even furthering this whole thing because he played for the Knicks. So again, if he's in New York city with someone that's not Angela trouncing about town with a baby, there would be pictures. Like it just doesn't track. It doesn't work. We go based off of evidence here. And I just don't see how there is no evidence of any of this if this is actually happening in New York City of all places where he is extremely well known. It would be one thing if he had a mistress in New York that nobody,
Starting point is 00:21:45 quote unquote, nobody knew about. And this is what was going on. It's like, all right, like maybe. I can kind of see it, but again, we're evidence-based here. So until somebody shows us any sort of screenshots or proof, then I'm going to hold on to that one. But throwing a baby into the mix is ludicrous. There's a baby out there that what we have no, any sort of confirmation on this being Charles's baby, that he's walking around the York. There would be a Stephen A. Smith video about it already. Like we would have heard, right? Not to mention, again, the owner of the Knicks, who is very, uh,
Starting point is 00:22:20 very much so likes to get involved in the drama and try to like throw his weight around if he found out that Charles Oakley had a mistress and a baby he would be putting it out there Dolan he would be throwing it all around New York and we would know about it so come yeah they're the ones that got into it mm-hmm so that would be like free ammo for him yeah I think we've debunked it I don't I think that's all the evidence I need until I think this is all very sound reasoning by the way I know it's not that sound we're pretty erratic but this this yeah this is fine well if you cross over into the sport
Starting point is 00:22:50 course realm. It's like, okay, I've got my footing here. I know what I'm doing. I can speak on this one pretty confidently. But we get to Portia, Dennis, Pilar, and Miss Diane, once again, they're looking for a nanny. That's got to be an awkward process where it's like, yeah, you're going to bop back and forth between our houses. But the interesting thing to me is, and we've seen this throughout the season, for having so much contention for Dennis and what's going on, every time we see scenes where she's with Dennis or talking to Dennis, there's never tension. It's usually fairly mellow. And you see that in this scene as well.
Starting point is 00:23:28 When it comes to Pilar, I believe I would expect that, right? Which is good, by the way. Yes, I agree. Yeah, and that's exactly what we would want to. But when it's away from the daughter and they're talking about just the Drew stuff, I agree with you, you would think that there would be a lot more tension and there would be a lot more buildup and Porsche would be talking about Dennis a lot more, but instead it's just kind of scratching the surface a little bit. Are you, are you forming a little conspiracy theory over
Starting point is 00:23:56 there? Because I can smell it out. What do you think? I think they're all in on it. I think this whole thing's fake. I think Porsche knew from day one. I think the Drew knew the way that they're not answering. Yeah. Yeah, I think they're all in it. It could easily be like, hey, here's a good storyline for this season. Plus, Dennis needs a job so he can produce your album for you. I don't know. like it just going through a divorce so she doesn't want to talk on it because there's too much going on in her world Porsche is going through a divorce she doesn't want to talk on it there's too much going on over there let's throw dennis into the mix you can get a producer for your album i'll make a big stink about it you've refused to answer it will never actually address it until the reunion yeah great perfect sign me up i can see that i really couldn't i'm not usually wanting to be like oh this is all fabricated or planned it just doesn't make the reactions don't make sense to me and then they're talking one-on-one. He's like, you filmed with her, and he's like,
Starting point is 00:24:50 well, no, like, she told me to come to a recording session, the cameras were there. It's like, yeah, okay, sure. And then he's like, you know, Drew's not signing me anymore because of you. And the way that he said that, I was like, all right, so you're that ho-hum about it. But this is apparently
Starting point is 00:25:08 a decent album, which you should be signed on for. For you would make money off of this. you just got unsigned to it and you're cool with that. He is an accredited producer, by the way, on the album. Right. So that also makes sense.
Starting point is 00:25:23 She's not signing with me. So, like, that didn't track for me. And his reaction and how he said it, I was like, why are you not like, if that's your source of income and you worked in this album and Porsche had a hand in you not getting paid or not getting to do the next album, whatever he meant by that, you wouldn't cause more of a stink like, hey, I understand. But like, you just took money out of. our daughter's pocket like yeah the reactions don't match but also like why do we not have any
Starting point is 00:25:51 sort of perspective from uh drew about this whole thing like oh yeah you know what i dumped dennis and i i i mean we saw the midseason trailer i didn't see any more of any scuffles or anything about this whole situation so maybe we still don't address it but wouldn't we be doing our due diligence here and having a scene with drew talking about dumping dennis you would think yeah the whole thing stinks and also it's just teams very, very much unlike Drew to dump Dennis after all of that. The way that she was talking, she was talking about how this album's going to make so much money, it's going to pay for Pilar's College.
Starting point is 00:26:24 So now we know that Pilar's College has already paid for. So now she just doesn't say a word and dumps Dennis and we don't get anything from that. It just seems the whole thing stinks. After seeing that bizarre face time of her in the club with her sister saying, we're celebrating and Dennis was facetabbing like, congrats on the album. It's like, well, what the fuck's going on, guys? guys like none of this makes any sense to me and it does cause this is what happens we don't know so now we're going to speculate on it and hope that we find some kind of evidence that supports
Starting point is 00:26:55 our theory then we say we told you so because none of this makes sense the reactions i'm not saying the stories don't make sense but how they respond to everything i'm like do you really care like yeah it's very for something that seems like a huge issue that now we're going to be talking about a bunch and we seem that or it seems like there's a huge rift in your friendship because of this whole thing you guys aren't reacting the right way like it's not no it doesn't seem like a big issue but you're talking about it like it's a big issue so it's very confusing right and if it's for co-parenting sake great like you guys are doing a great job not bringing this up and not being contentious in front of polar which is the most important thing so i applaud them for that
Starting point is 00:27:33 but the one-on-ones i'm like um what happened to the energy of you guys in the rolls royce when you're telling him to like make a decision like where's that and him like sliding the chair into you're confessional and you guys are goofing around right and then you like almost they kiss which was very funny i really like it was great like i don't mind the dynamic i don't mind them filming together i don't mind him being on the show i don't mind portia being on the show when she steps it up i just don't understand how we've gotten to this point with this storyline which is why i'm glad she's like i'm done with it we're moving past you and i need to co-parent we need a friendship dat me up bro i'm happy that we've we you and i as a team have gotten to a point where we are
Starting point is 00:28:13 talking about the potential conspiracy involved in all of this and how it could be potentially fake before we get to the point which we are at now, by the way, where we don't care anymore. Like there are questions that need to be answered and I just do not care anymore because I know you're not going to answer it or if you do, it's not going to have the same bearing as it would of, you know, in episode four when it was a bigger issue. Now I'm like, whatever. Yeah, I don't. I don't care. You could have like, oh, Dennis is banging Drew. I'm like, okay. Yep. Sure. But he does say that he's not the one. hitting it, implying somebody is
Starting point is 00:28:44 somebody that Porsche must know as well, because he said it like kind of coy, like, I'm not the one hitting it, wink. Which again, for Porsche, you just said in a tub, or in a tub, Jesus, in a pool. I don't know why I was thinking hot tub. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:59 You just said in the pool the other day that you, maybe you should go fuck Charles, but when Dennis brings up that Drew might be getting it from somebody else and insinuates that you would know who that is, you don't ask follow a question? You're not going to make a big deal about this? No, we don't get to find out who, which could be damning, right?
Starting point is 00:29:17 Like, it could be like, holy shit, she's banging. So, like, who? Yeah, and then again, if this is that big of an issue and you're going to hold her feet to the fire, wouldn't that be good ammo to have for later so that you can bring down Drew even more for, as you say, going against your best wishes and going behind your back and being sneaky. So, yeah, the whole thing doesn't make sense to me. But, yeah, hopefully it's done with it. Yeah, I do too.
Starting point is 00:29:40 I'm so sick of it. But let's get to Brit and her family. This scene was strange. I know. It was tough because, like, mom is packing up the house. Share starting shit because they're getting rid of her dad's stuff. But mom's like,
Starting point is 00:29:56 that's my stuff. I'm moving. Like, I need, I don't want to take away just because I'm not, like, a huge fan of what the family's going through. Like,
Starting point is 00:30:03 I get it. You know, you guys lost, you lost your husband. They lost their dad. It clearly sent rip. The phrasing of that sentence was very wild. I just like, you're not a huge fan of what the family's going through.
Starting point is 00:30:15 That's not what I said. Is that what I said? Oh, that's not what I meant. Like, I know it's not what you meant. That was there's two commas actually. There's, or maybe parentheses somewhere in there. I know you mean you're not a fan of that family comma. What they're going through is what I meant to say.
Starting point is 00:30:33 So there's a car. There's, yeah, my bad. Because I, my point being, like, I feel for them. Like, this is clearly, clearly fucked them all up. They're clearly trying to work through it. But watching them go back and forth. And like the other part kind of goes to what you said is like, this is a lot of serious shit.
Starting point is 00:30:49 And like they face time to other sister. She's not there. And like she's like, everyone grieves differently. And then shares like, well, call me like fuck you. And she starts crying and everyone starts crying.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Like lots of emotion, lots going on. But at the end of the day, back to what you said. And this is something that rings true in all housewife shows. If I'm not invested in you, these scenes don't hit the same way. Instead,
Starting point is 00:31:09 it's kind of like, you know, I feel bad for you guys, but I find myself like all my phone kind of scrolling. It's like, it just doesn't hit the same. It actually does the opposite for me where I start to, and again, this isn't going to sound great, but like that felt performative, but for me, when her sister gets on the phone, I didn't think that what's her,
Starting point is 00:31:27 the FaceTime sisters, Tierra, Tierra. When she's on the phone, oh, Tiarra. They got, they got Tierra. Okay, thank you. They say Tierra. Again, I'm not invested in this family because of Brits, so I don't know what's going on. But when she gets on the phone, she seemed pretty real.
Starting point is 00:31:44 She's like, look, I'm not there. I couldn't be there today, but it doesn't take away from the love that I have for you guys. I do love you guys. When her other sister gets on the phone, immediately, I'm like, all right, all right, this is a lot. It didn't strike me as like, I got to take this opportunity to air out my grievances and like really show her how I feel. It took me as there's cameras over here. and I'm going to have a full-blown breakdown and everybody's going to feel bad for me. And I'm like, I don't like that either. Well, if you take it back to the first scene, right?
Starting point is 00:32:13 Yeah, the lunch. Dinner and you're kind of like, we both talked about that. It's like, this doesn't seem legit. This seems very formative. It's weird. I don't like it at all. And then that felt even worse. And usually for these types of scenes, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:32:23 uh, that's very real, you know, borderlines, maybe we shouldn't be seeing this because, you know, they're not on the show, but, you know, they're Brits sisters, whatever. This just felt very performative. And I honestly, the only person I applaud in this whole scene is the grandmom. The grandma, I was like, I'm done with your shit. I'm still done with your shit.
Starting point is 00:32:40 I wrote that down. I was like, hell yeah, grandma. Let him know. She said, I'm tired. I'm tired, grandpa. Anyway, let's get to the Bailey queue for Juneteenth. And we invited a profit. That's new.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I haven't heard of a profit before coming to one of these things. I assume it's similar to like a medium. But the difference is she doesn't need hands. It's all energy, baby. All vines. It doesn't need hands. Just energy and, uh, Producers notes.
Starting point is 00:33:07 I'm just going to sit here and make broad statements and it's going to apply to one of you. Bet me. By the way, usually that is my stance. All right. It's a very broad statement. Somebody's going to feel good about this or it's going to resonate with them and they're going to speak up and share their truth. And then all of a sudden it hits hard. This was this was the fucking, you know what this was?
Starting point is 00:33:25 This was reading the coffee grounds from Jersey. Remember that? Oh, what do they call Jen Aden? You're a, it was. Whatever it was, it was exactly what. Marge had said to her like two or three weeks before. And it's like, okay, who briefed you? I don't know if Cynthia's sitting down with this profit.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Yeah, no, I, I hope that you've got some brand deals in your future. That's something like that. Yeah. It was the same vibe. I'm like, this is so oddly specific to each person. Like he took your car, huh? And she's like, oh, how did you know, they tell anybody about the fact that and the camera wagon?
Starting point is 00:33:59 Yeah, like, we know. So yes, you sat down with producers beforehand that I do love them because these fabricated very funny scenes are like, I just love watching all the women react to it. It's like, whoa, how'd you know that? Funniest one was like when she does Angela, she starts talking about the marriage and you know, the lack of sex, I guess, and excitement, like you need to romanticize your relationship, more, going on vacation, this, that, the other, not for nothing. They've been married for a decade.
Starting point is 00:34:25 She's like, you know, his love language is cleaning the house. So like, yeah, could we be more romantic? Sure. But at the same time, and we've gotten this at every step of the way when it comes to her marriage, like, we're cool, we're good. Our dynamics, great. I love my husband. He loves me.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Everyone keeps trying to poke holes into it. Yep. But the funniest thing is trying to take what a prophet said in this setting and using that to start an argument is probably my favorite thing because you're taking baseless claims. Yep. And then acting as though they're truth because a psychic told you so, which is what Brett does. Yes, exactly. And I always love that these scenes tend to be pretty biased, depending on who talked about it.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Now, again, I still think it's probably a producer that just kind of briefed her on everything. Like, hey, this is what everybody's got going on. Well, for example, like, oh, Drew, I can tell doesn't want to share in front of people. I'm like, what the fuck? Like, what do you mean? We're just giving her a very produced way out of this. She can go walk away now? Like, no, what?
Starting point is 00:35:27 It's not what this show is about. But again, it's, yeah, obviously, it's, it's pretty relevant to talk about Angela's husband. And so let's start bringing that up in a very inconspicuous way. We're going to talk about her marriage and how, you know, there's not enough sex in it. And you got to figure out that way of it. It's like, no, we know what you're doing. Because then it points you in the direction, like, oh, they're not having sex. So Charles must be having sex with somebody.
Starting point is 00:35:47 It's like, oh, wow, how do we get here? The line of prophecies is very, very leading. And it's leading for the other women to take a swing. Oh, here you go. I'll set you up over here. That's fine. Honestly, I feel like Porsche is the only one who had the right idea. let me just start talking over the profit
Starting point is 00:36:03 and just talk about how all my business is in the news anyway and I don't really care. Great move. It's not that disrespectful. It's very on brand for Porsche and you don't have to hear anything from the profit that then sets somebody else up for just to take a whack. Yeah, but Shimea made me laugh.
Starting point is 00:36:17 She's like, why are you guys doing shots during my prophecy? Like, I want that sentence on a T-shirt. Why are you guys doing shots during my prophecy? Angela's whole thing for the day, she's like, and this, she tends to go into situations, at least from what we've seen with this temperament. I just want a good vibe. Like, I don't really want to get into shit.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Yeah. But my God, there's some shit pop off. And, like, I was like, this is why this show rocks. This is fucking awesome because I want good vibes. Britt's response, you receive what you get. And Britt starts to go in on Angela. And she's like, well, it sounds like you need to use your mouth more often. She's like, this fucking read.
Starting point is 00:36:57 My God. I literally, verbally. like out loud but damn because she goes not as much as you look at those stretch marks around your mouth i was like oh whoa that was fuck yeah and i didn't expect first of all britt's reaction it was so fucking funny she's step in there show me it's like dude she got you you got got them in the after show too it should me have brought something up she's like all right you're gonna redo it for me just read the whole line all the way through and i'll show you what britt does and she just does this thing with her mouth she's like her mouth is quivering because she doesn't know which
Starting point is 00:37:30 word to say she feels like she just got crushed and i love that angela starts it off too because we just heard the prophet talk about how she needs to have sex with charles more brit uses that to say that and use your mouth a little bit more she goes yeah maybe i do agrees with the prophet agrees agrees agrees with brit and then strikes you down so much harder like you're gonna really open me up right now okay see yeah yeah dude she fucking full haymaker and absolutely connected and she's like show me and she's like she got miles on your mouth And just, you know what? I'm done pulling punches.
Starting point is 00:38:03 Britt, you're a whore. You're a whore. Sheesh. Like, fuck, yeah, Angela. This is why you don't mess with Angela. And also the best part about Angela during these situations, calm, cool, collected. She's not yelling.
Starting point is 00:38:18 She's not causing a scene. She's sitting down smiling saying, you're a whore. Come on. Yeah, there's like a slight comedic inflection in those messages too, but they just cuts you so deep. You can tell that she really doesn't care. But if you're going to come after, she's just going to eviscerate you, and it's so great. Yeah, and she brings up the baby.
Starting point is 00:38:35 And this is really all you have to say, like, you need receipts. If you're going to throw these allegations out, now we've gotten to a point where they're just publicly saying it. It's no longer tiptoeing around. I heard a rumor about Charles. It's like, bring the evidence, show us, show Angela. You can't, because we're now crossing into the line of like, well, you're really doing a lot of disservice to Angela and Charles' marriage. If you're going to keep making these. claims that could potentially fuck up a marriage and we talk about this all the time we talked about
Starting point is 00:39:04 it on jersey relentlessly let's not ruin people's marriages even if you don't like them like that's just a it's aicky game to play and if you don't have any like solid evidence when you keep going back to the same shit without anything to back you up it just makes you look like an idiot because angela doesn't seem faced and i'm sure this is nothing new coming from an ex-nba star hearing rumors about She said that. She's like, I put up with this shit our entire marriage. This isn't going to rattle me. These people are idiots.
Starting point is 00:39:34 And that's what we're getting. She's clearly coming out on top here, which is why she is such a great housewife, such great addition to this whole show. I'm Amy Nicholson, the film critic for the LA Times. And I'm Paul Shear, an actor, writer, and director. You might know me from the League, Veep, or my non-eligible for Academy Award role in Twisters. We come together to host Unspool, a podcast where we talk about good movies, critical hits. Fan favorites must see
Starting point is 00:39:59 and in case you missed them. We're talking Parasite the home alone. From Greece to the Dark Night. So if you love movies like we do, come along on our cinematic adventure. Listen to Unschooled wherever you get your podcast. And don't forget to hit the follow button. D.C. high volume Batman. The Dark
Starting point is 00:40:17 Night's definitive DC comic stories adapted directly for audio for the very first time. Fear. I have to make I'm afraid. He's got a motorcycle. Get after him or have you shot? What do you mean blow up the building?
Starting point is 00:40:34 From this moment on, none of you are safe. New episodes every Wednesday, wherever you get your podcasts. It's Marie Antoinette Month on the Vulgar History podcast. Every week in September, we will be talking about the notorious French queen. Why is she still talked about today? Did she really say, let them eat cake? Spoiler, she did not. Why do people still think she deserve to have her head cut off?
Starting point is 00:41:00 We're going to be taking a deep dive into Marie Antoinette's life and world to try to answer the question, how do you solve a problem like Marie Antoinette? Listen to vulgar history wherever you get podcasts. But we need an OG to settle things down. So Cynthia finds a cowbell out of nowhere and starts thing in the bell. She's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Everyone's settle the fuck down.
Starting point is 00:41:23 All right. And she gives us some Juneteenth trivia. so we got to learn a little bit about Juneteenth, which was cool, especially given the current state of things, that might not be a holiday next year. So glad that she took the time to talk about it, teach some people some things, teach the groups and things.
Starting point is 00:41:38 I wanted a lot more from that, too. I wanted more trivia questions. Yeah, it too. I like this scene. I like that she changed the whole theme of the party. It's usually on July 4th. She changes it to this day. I thought that was powerful.
Starting point is 00:41:48 So good job, Cynthia. And even better to take this moment to be like, all right, I've got a side room set up over here with a camera and at you two come with me portia angela's time to talk sits them down's like all right have at it we're talking about drew and angela's still holding on and like here's the only like misstep it's like she's like i thought you understood the intention it's like look you found a loophole yeah you found a loophole to get her there because she didn't like actively say drew's not invited but she didn't invite true you knew she wasn't so you went out of your way to invite her
Starting point is 00:42:20 whether it was good intentioned or not we don't really care like we like the fact that you included everybody in the cast trip if it was shady even better because that means I think yeah I think if you lean into it and even use the word like look I know it's a little shady I knew it was a little shady but I wanted to clear the air I wanted to force the situation and show everybody in the group that we can get through all of these things because I think that was her intention and yes there's a bit of that that is hey we're on a TV show that this shit happens all the time so of course I'm going to do it for a cast trip but also just lean into the fact that yeah it was a little shady yes I went around your back yes I didn't tell you exactly what
Starting point is 00:42:54 I was going to do, but I stand by it, and I would do it again. That's all you have to do, I feel like. Yeah, I agree with that, but the recap and the 3 a.m. conversation by the pool, and she brings up the, you said you'd fuck Charles thing. And this is where portion needs to lean into it. She's like, no, no, it's like, yeah, yeah. And Angela's like, look, you can blame it on the alcohol. T. Payne got a lot of shoutouts this episode.
Starting point is 00:43:15 I love that. Oh, yeah. Blame it on the henny, blame it on the alcohol. That was a great burst station, by the way. That was fantastic. You know what? Can we take a second to, like, celebrate. Talk about T-Pay. Payne is finally getting his flowers after all these years.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Uh-huh. Like, he's finally, when he did Tennessee whiskey, I was blown away. That man has the voice of an angel. So I'm glad that he's- All he had to do was too many people. He was catching a lot of strays about the Auto-Tune stuff. And it was during, I think it was during COVID. We were talking about Autotune.
Starting point is 00:43:46 No, what? So T-Pain did an interview, and he talked about, he's like, yeah, Asher sent me into like a three-year deep depression. And they were like, what? He's like, yeah, I was at a party. And Usher came up to me. And he was like, yeah, man, you know, you kind of ruined music with Autotune is what Usher, who was like one of T-Pain's idols, totally ruined music with Auto T-Tune.
Starting point is 00:44:07 And he said that's a three-year depression because of Usher. God. So look at him now. T-Pain's running the world and he deserves, I fucking love T-Pain. But anyway, let's get back on track here. Because Porsche, even in a. confessional like you're wrong dude you were wrong you said that you would fuck her or you should fuck her husband that's fucked up again with your track record of people questioning you boinking husbands
Starting point is 00:44:35 it's not the smartest thing for you to say and in a confessional sorry for having fun with my friends being drunk at 3 a.m. with your friends doesn't give you an excuse to say whatever you want to say yeah yeah that was definitely a misstep because again if you just admit it and i know you don't want to give angela the satisfaction in this moment but yeah you feel like you're going to yeah both both of you need to admit what your intentions were what you were doing and i do think it probably would have gone over a lot better with angela and she probably wouldn't hold on to it if you admit that you said it and again you were just being shady i was throwing shade i was pissed at you for inviting drew i never actually meant it there's no intention
Starting point is 00:45:13 behind it i was just dicking around i was drunk i let the henny get to my brain and i was having fun with my friends that's all you got to do i think angela would respect that i think she'd be Like, all right, cool. Angela strikes me as someone that if you cop to it and say you're sorry and mean it, she's like, all right, let's move on. I don't have fully agree with that. We've known her for eight episodes and I agree. Yeah, but we know her.
Starting point is 00:45:32 We get it. We totally know her. But Portia's like, because Cynthia comes in and we good now because Angela or Portia doesn't apologize to Angela. And Porsche is like, well, she didn't apologize to me. And I love Cynthia, like, well, you said that thing about her husband now. Like, hey, don't forget. You said you wanted to fuck her husband.
Starting point is 00:45:50 like one thing is a lot bigger than the other thing come on they both kind of apologize angela gives an apology portion she goes ditto i'm like oh but then she somewhat apologizes i just wrote down and move forward question mark i think this is a tentative like let's go our separate ways this doesn't need to be a thing but it may become a thing again i think that's where we're at but the best part is they get up to leave and something's like oh no angel you're not done yet you got one more to squash we've got more issues and shamiah comes in i thought this one was going to be easier I thought this was going to be like, hey, I love you. I thought this was going to be easier.
Starting point is 00:46:22 I also didn't think that this deserved a sit down. I didn't know, like, I was like, Shania didn't say what Porsche said, but also like. The lack of support and, and her somewhat championing Porsche throughout this season, I think led to what this was. I think that there was a deeper thing because we did have the sit down. And obviously, you know, the Latoya Jackson comments earlier in the season. And then they seemingly squashed it and the olive branch was extended. I don't think that this needed to be reopened. I don't think that either,
Starting point is 00:46:53 but I think what happened is Angela wanted Shamiya to not jump in and laugh at what was going on. She wanted some support because Shimea is also married. She's like, I thought that you of all people would step in and be like, hey, that's fucked up. And you didn't. You're laughing and like Kikiing with them. And she's like, well, I kiki with everyone. I like to have fun.
Starting point is 00:47:13 It's like, I see, I see where Angela's coming from that you could have been like, whoa, whoa, whoa. I also see it's 3 o'clock in the morning by a pool. They're all wasted. Portia says something. Shameda doesn't knock it down. She just laughs along with it. At some point, I think you could chalk it up to a drunken night from the supporting cast.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I think you have every right to still be pissed at Porsche. Yeah. It's the same excuse the Porsche gave. I was just having fun with my friends. When Shemia says it, it's like, all right, yeah, you know, do better next time. Right. Somebody says something about me and you want us to be. friends just you know say something at least just throw something out there like hey let's not do
Starting point is 00:47:52 that and i'll get i'll let you go but i love just i love that we got the same excuse for both of them one is very much so the perpetrator in portia saying that it's like all right you do need to apologize shimea you don't actually have to apologize it's from for me in particular i'm like yeah whatever it's okay yeah i think this one will probably turn into a wash i don't think that there's no reason for shemia i don't want them to be at all I don't because I kind of look to them as like the figureheads of this season, whereas, you know, Cynthia is kind of the over overarching character, like making sure everything going okay. She's been there for a while. She's not taking center stage, but she's an important feature.
Starting point is 00:48:32 But like, I am looking at Shimea and Angela, which is crazy because they're both newbies as being like who I'm looking at as the leaders of this cast as a whole because Porsche is not stepping up, which is surprising. But it still has to be Shemia, even though. you know we had that whole conversation last week where i i think that that's why the season is really good because it doesn't seem like there's like a central figure that's like driving things way on one person correct correct yeah so i i like that a lot better but if we have to pick i still i still think it's going to be shamiah because i agree honest angela angela's clapbacks and her willingness to get into the shit with anybody who makes any sort of comment will keep her away from being the central figure but it's going to make her so enjoyable on screen
Starting point is 00:49:17 she's great because she's just unfazed it's like yeah i don't give a shit i'm about to say some shit that's going to fuck you up and i'm going to walk away fine and if you need evidence to that just look at britt i do think that the the shemia uh Porsche friendship going back and obviously we do have the midseason trailer so it looks like there's something going on there and angela gets involved of course but in the beginning of the season it seemed like a little innocuous but we know how these shows work the way the producers edit these shows we get a little bit here a little bit there you go to Shamia's birthday. Portia tries to take all of the camera time on her
Starting point is 00:49:51 while Shamia is getting a fucking Rolls-Royce. She walks up late, tries to get everybody to look at her. People have questions about that. What's going on in this? Is this a lopsided friendship? Are we sure? At the time, it's like, all right, maybe that'll turn into something.
Starting point is 00:50:04 We forget about it, but it seems like it's going to come back around. So just something to keep an eye on if that's going to end up moving the needle one way or another. I agree. I agree. But all in all, especially watching that mid-season trailer, It looks like the best is yet to come, which is great. Because it's been a solid start.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Like, as Fager comes back? Next episode. Yeah. Like, I'm stoked that Fager's finally coming back. We get a Fager sighting. So maybe that's going to make Portia elevator game that she's got her partner in crime there. Like, that could add to the season as well. Because, again, we'll get to questions.
Starting point is 00:50:36 And I see a question right here from Max June. It's like, Porsche come back a flop question mark. As of now, yeah. But I do think that having a supporting cast member in Fadre, might pull her up a little bit and get her back on track. And I'm just excited for Fajority back on our screen. So we have a lot to look forward to. Yeah, I'm also really excited to see Kelly actually get into it because she started off
Starting point is 00:50:58 with strong couple of questions here and there. And it looks like they're not friends anymore too. No, and they go after each other in the midseason trailer. Yeah. So I, she calls Kelly a Hobbit. I'm like, oh, I know. It's a very mean. But, yeah, I mean, I'm excited to see Kelly get into it because I feel like she's,
Starting point is 00:51:16 she's done enough so far where she's likable she's enjoyable she's sharing a lot about her life we're seeing a little bit here and there seems like the rest of the girls like her and we'll talk to her which is always very important in these shows so i'm waiting to see her flip that switch because i know it's there and um she's gotten to a point now where when she does it's like oh kelly speaking up versus like she's done a great job of not being too comfortable too quickly sitting back and letting things happen and then contributing where she's she can, but not trying to take center stage. If you want the opposite of that, which doesn't work out, well, look at Britt, trying to get involved too quickly, trying to force things, and it ends up falling flat. And we've watched this happen on countless housewife shows. Kelly's approach is great because now we're wanting her to go off. And now we get that in the second half, you're like, fuck, yeah, here we go versus Brit. You're like, shut up.
Starting point is 00:52:07 So, like, Brit's been doing too much for far too long. Exactly. And Kelly hasn't done enough yet in a good way. So it leads to a really good second half. but let's get to some more questions here up first from i'll say that over the end from john crotley do you think brit was trying to not laugh at the miles on your mouth comment i think she was trying to cry i think she was trying not to cry too i don't think we've seen her before she gets pissed off at little comments you start asking her about her license and what's going on with insurance she freaks
Starting point is 00:52:36 out that is not something that i think she was going to laugh at no i don't think she thought it was funny at all i think she's i think everybody else was trying not to laugh too hard yeah i think that brit was scrambling trying to come up with a comeback and just fell flat because angela my god as oh that girl underscore court and he says listen angela is the snapback queen she matched it was and the delivery is where it all lies that's the delivery is just chef's kiss from coia baby who lies more portia drew or brett oh um i got to go i don't because drew's i got too many confirmed lies from drew Whereas the other ones, I'm like, I don't know if that's true or not. Drew, I'm like, that's a lie.
Starting point is 00:53:18 That's also a lie. And Drew gets caught lying all the time. She does, yeah. I don't think Porsche deserves to be in that one. Portia doesn't really lie. She just lie of omission sometimes. And then she omits the truth. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Yeah. I mean, Drew is more of a confirmed liar. But I think in a nutshell, who's more of a liar? It's probably Britt. I guarantee you, Brit's lying more than Drew's. I agree. From Jamie Gibbs. if y'all were prophets what would you tell each other i see a podcast do i see a microphone i see a microphone
Starting point is 00:53:53 do you use a microphone you do use a microphone interesting okay okay i see uh i see a friend a long a long time friend and i see uh i see a wooden baseball bat and uh there's a piece of it that seems to be a little broken around the hip area Does that mean anything to you? Speaking of, we had a doubleheader in my mensly yesterday, I'm in shambles. Yeah, I was walking, you know, and I took Louis for a walk, and if you had driven by me, you would have thought that I was unwell. I was like, lifting around the neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:54:31 Like, yeah, it was tough. It was tough. I'll be ready for next Sunday. That's why it's good when they have one game a week or one game day a week, because it gives me six days to recover fully. But it rains on every Sunday that's ever existed in the Philadelphia area. It rained yesterday, but we got them in. We got them in. The second one was pouring, and it was a disaster, but we got it in. But that's all I got. You got anything else? Nope. Well, that's our show.
