Bros & Shows - Bunco & The Fact That All Of Us Will Die Some Day (RHUGT S5E1 Full Recap)
Episode Date: August 13, 2026What's up bros?? Happy 20th anniversary to the housewives and what better way to celebrate than to hopefully revive a franchise that has gone very wayward recently in Ultimate Girls Trip. Bravo's pull...ing out all the stops at no expense to make sure we get the full experience and while it's annoying to start in OC so we can see Tamra & Shannon fight, we think it'll still be an enjoyable ride albeit for 5 (maybe 6) episodes Learn more about your ad choices. I think this is the first time that we've watched an Ultimate Girls trip,
even just episode, not season, and you've actually enjoyed it.
Well, I did lead up to this saying, I think it's going to be good.
This is not the atypical Ultimate Girls Trip.
Let's bring in a cast of rejects who can't even make the roster on their own show
and see if that works out and spend four fucking episodes talking about,
hey, I don't really know you.
Tell me all about your life.
And we already know about their lives because we watch them on screen.
and they're not very interesting people, hence why they're no longer on the show.
The only one that could have potentially been okay was Roneys, but like that one got a little weird.
There's also the secret vault one that we'll probably never see, but the majority of them really sucked.
This one, they actually went all out.
They actually brought the icons in, and it was a good little jumping off point for bringing needy back.
So, yeah, we were going to be bought into this one.
As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm Karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good evening, everybody.
Welcome back to another episode of Brov Bros.
Your favorite podcast from The Bros.
For everybody, for whoever wants to listen.
I'm your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by
the ultimate Goots trip
What's up, dude?
UGT, that's what I think about too.
This show is not
structured how I thought it was going to be.
I think we're only getting,
I texted you this, I think we're only getting five episodes.
It's one for location.
Yeah, ever since that one person commented on our video
and was like, hey, you guys need to just check Wikipedia
for the episodes.
Some seasons, I'm not going to do that.
I'm just going to be honest,
because if it's Beverly Hills or if it's like,
O.C.
I don't want to see it.
I just, I don't want to know for sure that there's another 15 fucking episodes if it sucks.
This one, I was kind of caught off guard because they,
they did structure it in a way where they're going to spend,
I guess, one episode per city.
And we're going OC up to Beverly Hills, over to Atlanta, down to Miami,
pumped about that, bring Miami back, enough of this bullshit.
And then we're going up to New York slash Bluestone Manor, I guess,
for the finale where everybody's going to show up.
It's going to be a whirlwind.
You're going to have to stick with us because,
We don't really know the best way to do an episode for this thing.
Because we kind of jump all over the place.
I mean, we spend the first like 20 minutes just kind of check it in, which is fine.
I do want to check in.
But it's really just like, hey, what was your iconic moment?
Hey, what was your end of Bravo moment?
Like, okay, yeah, I guess we can talk about that.
I do want to know, looking at this cast of characters.
You got Lou Ann, Vicki, Kyle, Jaselle, Lisa Barlow, Portia, Luann, and Teresa.
who are you most excited to see back on your screen?
Oh, God.
I mean, back on the screen would be Teresa, but.
I just mean, like, see, it's not during their season.
I mean, who on this cast are you most excited about?
I think, weirdly enough, I'm going to be excited.
I don't know if excited is the right word.
I'm going to be excited to see how Lisa Barlow fits into the group.
We see very different versions of Lisa Barlow, depending on who she's with.
She's taken on a life of her own.
when it comes to Salt Lake City,
but Salt Lake City is an interesting place now.
We've got Heather and Angie both going after her constantly.
She can kind of float into the back,
but I obviously don't want her to.
I want her to be Lisa,
but there's so much going on and there's so many people,
so many big personalities that have been on this program for a very long time.
So I want to see how she reacts.
So I'm excited to see if she does take a step forward and like is Lisa Barlow.
But I want to see how that goes.
I guess excited.
I want to see Teresa.
I want to see what happens here.
she's always so much nicer when she's away from New Jersey.
I know.
We always got like a different side to her when she's not going tit for tat with the ladies of Jersey.
But I don't know.
I'm excited to see Teresa back just as it's been a while.
I'm also stoked about Lisa Barlow.
I think it's going to be funny watching her fit in with a crew that is not the Salt Lake Ladies.
Yeah.
I will say this.
And this is only based off of one episode.
It highlights how bad of a housewife Kyle is.
in my opinion.
Yeah, it really does.
I mean, they pretty much were like...
Yeah, she's taught.
I mean, obviously we go right to Beverly Hills
in the second episode and you and I
were talking beforehand, like the clip,
they did the sneak peek, which
you know how I feel about sneak peeks
when they give you like six minutes of an episode.
There's the first 30 minutes of a 40 minute episode.
There's only fucking five episodes.
Like, we do we really need to do a sneak peek
for a show that's coming out weekly
that there's only five of them of?
Like, no, we don't.
have to do that. Let's just wait. But it's impossible to do this job. This is the
shitty dichotomy that we live. We have to do this job. I would normally stay away from that
so I can watch it unfold on screen. But instead, it's my job and I see enough people talking about
it and then people in the comments are going to get mad if we don't know what's going on.
The idea that Kyle and Vicky have a conversation about Kyle's breakup from Mo is fucking hilarious
to me because Vicki will step on so many toes and not realize it. So that, it just looks amazing.
maybe we'll get something out of Kyle there
but I fully agree with you when we're going through
and Mickey's going to be Vicky
she's got so much energy just pent up
from years of not being on this show
and now she is on OC and this
that's going to be incredible Porsche's Porsche
Lisa Barlow will do her thing
then you go around the room and you get to Kyle
and we're talking about iconic moments
and her iconic moment is basically abandoning her sister
is running away God
like what are we doing
I mean I guess it's iconic moments
for the show.
Like obviously,
Renna throwing the glass,
that whole thing is like a good moment.
But like your iconic moment,
like is literally just running out of a door.
Like that's not,
but Teresa's flipping tables.
At least Barlow on the hot mic moment.
Just epic.
You've got don't be all like uncool,
which is I think on a coaster in my living room that death has.
Yep.
You're running out of a restaurant.
Like it's just watching everybody interact,
watching them all,
kind of do their thing.
Seeing obviously Vicky, being Vicky is a lot, but, you know, it's been a while.
I think that's going to subside a little bit because we are.
We do start in the O.C.
Obviously, you know, we start with Nini, which was just a pleasure to see her on the screen.
She didn't really get into it.
But I think when we get to Atlanta, I think she'll be involved a little bit more.
I would at least I would hope so.
Obviously, the list is vast.
There's 82 other stars that are going to make an appearance.
And we see what we're doing already in O.C.
And they bring Jenna and they bring Joe De La Rosa and who tried to steal the show, which was, you know, whatever.
It's fine.
For a show like this, it's going to work, I guess.
But I do think the Vicky stuff will subside a little bit.
Now, obviously, she's a massive personality.
She's going to get involved in pretty much everything.
But I think as we go from city to city, it's going to be more of like a here's my city.
Let's start here.
And that's what we're doing with Vicky.
So her starting off with the insurance stuff is fucking hilarious.
I mean, and she's dead serious.
She's like, hey, if you need life insurance, I'm your gal.
Come on.
Let's write it down.
And I like the reactions.
Like, we're going to get very different reactions.
This is what I think ultimate girls should be.
And I know they can't do this all the time.
They can't have only icons at all times.
But it's going to work here because you've got Vicky being herself.
And then every reaction is a little different.
We don't have that hive minds.
We don't have that.
Oh, in our city, this is how we do it.
It's like, no, this is how I'm going to do.
It's very individualistic.
And I like to see that because we're going to get very different sides of
people, but we're also going to get the side that makes them great reacting to another all-time
great. It's like an all-star game. That's how it should be. Exactly. And as you look through like the
beginning of the show and even in the middle of the show, like you're getting the pieces and the
moments from these housewives that we love. Like Luad is very charming, very demure, very just kind of
always in a good mood, always just kind of keeping the piece, just doing her thing. She's entertaining.
You got Giselle who's inevitably going to stir the pot. Like she's,
going to get involved. She's going to talk some shit. That's what she does. You got Porsche being
Portia. You got Teresa. She hasn't done anything, but just Teresa being Teresa is always entertaining.
Then you get to Kyle and her contribution to this episode was more like trace enemies. Am I
right? Guys. Come on now. That's what I got. That was the other thing that really, really
bothered me. And I
knew it was going to be OC-centric
or OC-adjacent, whatever you want to call
it. We heard
about Tamara and
Shadden and how bad things
were. Did that seem
how they piped it up to be
after the first episode of O.C?
That whole fight at the Quiet Woman.
Was that as bad as you thought it was going to be?
No, I do think it was incredibly
disrespectful, but not like a...
They made it seem like a blowout fight
like people throwing shit. It was super
mean, but it was not to the level of, like, I thought it was going to be like people dragging people
away from each other, broken plates or broken glass, screaming.
At the very least, Shannon crying and leaving, but like, the most we got was Giselle stirring
the pot a little bit. Tamara being Tamara and poking fun at Shannon and doing this acting like she's
drinking. But Shannon didn't have a major blowup. She was just like, fuck you. I'm out of here. And then
she had a lot of support from everybody else, which that, that is the way.
one thing that I do want to look forward
to and I want more of that. And I think
they should do, and this is crazy of me
even saying this, but I think they should do
extended episodes for the show. Like if you're
really going to do it big,
do it big. Show us everything.
Because I want to see more of that. Because when we
go to OC, and that's the thing that I want
to keep an eye on as we go from city to city.
When we go to OC, Shannon
and Tamara do that,
we get the dumbest fucking takes in the world
as we go around to the rest of the women. Like, oh, what did
you think about that? Well, I thought it was a little disrespectful, but
It's just Tamara being Tamara.
No, that's not how it should play.
When Shannon comes out and other women who are on other franchises saw that,
I want to see more of that.
That shit wouldn't fly for me.
That shit wouldn't fly for me in the group of girls on my show.
So you're talking to like a Kyle and then you also have, you know, Heather who's probably
friends with Kyle sitting there.
It's like, oh, maybe I should take some notes.
Because even Kyle's like, well, that's fucked up.
Why would she do that?
That's kind of insane.
Why are you going to let that happen?
You shouldn't be friends with her.
Nobody should be able to be friends with her after she does that.
That's fucked up.
up you're good we all saw it it's okay you're not crazy shadow like it was so easy easily
accomplished with this group of women who have been through a lot of shit in different capacities
but that's what i want to see i want to be able to see here's the normal schick of things that
happen in beverly hills how's that going to work oh let's go over to vicki gundelson and see how
she feels fuck that why would the hell would you deal with that why are you doing these things
aisle. That's what I want to see. I want to see how they would handle the situations that we usually
see arise as we go from city to city. I agree, but it was extremely satisfied to get confirmation
from all of the women that are not from the OC. Yeah. To be like, wow, their voices are so loud
and irritating. I was like, thank you for confirming. I've never been in the same room. Yeah.
But I assumed, and that was the one takeaway from every, even Lisa Barlow was like, that's,
that's annoying. Like, that's what you know. If Lisa,
So Barlow's annoyed by you.
I love Lisa Barlow.
Don't get me wrong.
She's an absolute star.
But she can be annoying.
So for her to say that's annoying,
really paints a picture of what the OC filming must sound like.
Those rooms must be so loud.
God, I can only imagine, especially that restaurant in general.
I mean, we have to hear how small that restaurant is,
how low key it is all the time.
And we've seen some big fights there.
But this one was like, okay, we've got normal people there.
who also are usually in tune with what's going on in the Housewives world,
even they're saying, like, shut up.
We're just trying to play a game here, trying to have some fun.
It's not, this is a very low class of you guys.
I want more of that.
Well, you know what it was, like, especially for Tamara.
You know damn well Tamara feels some type of way about being left out of the show.
And you know damn well, she's trying to make a splash with her time on the screen.
Like, that's all it was.
Yep.
Like, she's trying to be like, aha, you're going to rue, not putting me on this show.
watch my performance on Ultimate Girls trip.
Yeah.
And it was more of the same.
That's exactly what it does.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's exactly what it was.
And obviously we just completely jump to the end of the episode.
But yeah, we'll jump around.
The other thing that I thought very funny,
and it's just going to be funny to watch them all interact
and kind of step on toes.
But when we're on the yacht and we're just kind of like dancing
and having a good time and they've got those cutouts,
having the conversation of who's changed the most,
is the most like uncouth thing that you.
You could possibly do.
And you should know that.
But no one was even going down that road.
No one was really doing.
Everybody's thinking it.
Like that's the funny thing.
Like we're all sitting at home.
We're like, holy shit.
Yeah, you did change a lot.
Kyle and Kyle's like,
yeah,
you know,
Lisa Vanderpump told me to put a little Botox in my upper lip.
And now it just kind of sat there and it hasn't moved since.
Okay.
Yeah,
we'll go with that.
Vicki's sliding in.
I think that Teresa's changed the most.
Why?
And Teresa even saying,
well,
the only thing I got dumb is just the tip of my nose.
Come on.
What are you talking?
I'm not telling you you have to be honest,
but you don't even have to say that.
Just ask Vicki why she decided to out you like that.
Why she decided to make that proclamation.
That would be funny.
I don't know.
That's the vibe that I feel like we're trying to understand.
It's only one episode in.
But that's where I get worried when we're only doing five episodes.
Are we going to get a feel for each other?
Because that's the one thing that I always hated about Ultimate Girl's Trip was,
it would take like four or five episodes to get a feel for who the other person was.
And then we would have a little bit of drama at the end of the scene.
season. They're traveling so much. They're doing so many things and meeting so many new people and
different people from different franchises. Are we ever going to get a feel? Because I think if Vicky
had done that, say we stopped in New Jersey and it was like episode seven, I think Teresa would be
like, fuck you. Why the hell would you say that to me? But instead it's like, wait, what? Why are we
not doing that? I think what differs about this one, at least I have some hope is that because you are
rolling out the heavy hitters.
You're rolling out housewives
that have been on Bravo for a very long time.
These women have been around each other
for the most part. There's a couple that
don't know each other as well. But
this crew has mingled.
So I do think that people know
a little, much more so
than seasons past, where it's like you get
maybe one star, two stars, and a bunch of randos.
With this, it's like, okay,
most of them have relationships
with each other. Most of them also know
where they fit into their respective shows, which I think is going to pay off
at some point because they know who does what, right?
Like, they know Jazeel's going to stir the pop.
They know that, you know, Vicki's going to be off the fucking rails.
Like, they are aware of who these women are.
So I think that that's going to get rid of that awkward feel-out phase where,
you know, the fucking bottle of tequila in the one that we had to talk about for,
three episodes and
because they didn't know each other
it's just Giselle like well maybe it was you
it was like a game of clue that nobody wanted to watch
so I think that we might
it might still be
a little bit of a feel out phase but I think that's
also where the
other women from these cast being in the city
that we're going to there's more familiarity
there as well so like yeah we go to Beverly Hills
which I am dreading by the way
do not need to see them I just
I had the list of who
it was too.
Because I, I had
Eric and Jane, which I'm actually excited to see.
I know Eric is, yeah, I know Eric is definitely there.
But
obviously, I mean, there's 82 of them.
So it's hard to differentiate, like, who's going to be
actually there in Beverly Hills
and who's just going to show up a Bluestone Manor
at the end of the day. But I do think they're
Erica, oh, maybe not
Dereke, because it's Kyle.
Sucking Erica and
oh my God,
please, please
give me some Tilly.
give me just a little tilly
Tilly would rock
that would absolutely rock
I can't find it anymore
now it's just like
I swear yesterday I pulled it up and it had like
all 82 listed so it was like each
individual city and what we were doing
now today of course it's changed the Wikipedia
but yeah it's gonna be
interesting like we're not going to see a Kim Richards
that would be kind of interesting to have a Kim
Richard citing when we go to Beverly Hills
yeah
it's going to be
probably they're going to try to throw a mix in of like older generations younger generations.
I mean, again, they kind of set the bar where they got with OC and having like Jenna come in who's,
you know, she sounds like she's going through it.
I think she had like tongue cancer or something and she's got like radiation burns and all of these things that come along with it.
And then we go to like Joe who's saying, you know, I was the first Hispanic housewife.
And we see the clips.
Like I love seeing the old clips and going through that.
because you see not only the production value
and how much lower it is,
but also you just see a bunch of people
that don't really understand what's going on
and they don't fucking care.
And they're like,
ah, you know what?
I don't really give a shit what's going to happen right now.
We're just going to work our way through it.
Exactly.
I think the callbacks are so much fun.
And I think it's also,
and what I hope this show does,
like this is my dream
for what this show could possibly do
to the Housewives realm as a whole.
I hope that watching these old clips, I hope that everybody being involved, all 82 people,
going back and watching, seeing the old days, seeing like the glory days of housewives,
I hope it like lights some kind of flame in the housewives world where it's like,
oh yeah, this is what it was about.
Then we don't have to talk about the money thing in OC anymore where it's like,
yeah, dude, we want money.
We want strangers buying strangers $3,000 clutches.
Like that's what this used to be about,
just extravagant big loud lives, money everywhere,
throwing your money at people,
Sutton even, with her,
argue as someone whose wallet fits,
like shit like that,
where that was taken so poorly,
if we remember,
like that was such a big deal.
It didn't need to be.
It was kind of funny.
And it was a very rare one-liner from Sutton
that actually was kind of funny.
But I'm hoping that this,
brings us into a bit of a renaissance with the housewives as a whole,
where we kind of get back to the roots.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, I mean, it very well could.
We don't really know exactly which direction it's going to go in
or if this is going to be kind of like a one and done.
Like, hey, we're not going to continue to do this anymore.
But yeah, I just kind of working our way through the episode.
Obviously, it's just kind of, it's a lot of feeling out.
It's a lot of what was your iconic moment, you know,
how's your life been?
Like, what are you up to?
Which is very funny.
I just kind of work our way through, which is not really any talking points, to be honest.
We'll get right back to the rest of our ultimate girls' trip breakdown, but let's take a little ad break right here.

Kingdoms were reduced to cinders, an army scattered like bones in the dust.
Now the survivors claw to what's left of a broken world, praying the darkness chooses someone else tonight.

This is old-school adventuring at its most cruel.
Your torch ticks down in real time, and when that flame dies, something else rises to finish the job.
This is a brutal rules-light nightmare with a story.

Scrolling, swiping, headlines, sound bites.
Nobody's really seen.
Even the people everyone thinks.
they know. I'm Evelyn. I'm a television producer and director. I've spent decades behind the
camera. On the podcast, Repin, I have real conversations with actors, creators, and change makers.
We're going beyond the headlines, and we're going to hear about the risks they took and the lessons
that shape their lives. Repen is about being human first. Listen to Repen wherever you get your
podcasts. Hi, I'm Whitney, and I'm Katie. And we're the hosts of True Crime Camp
fire. We set out to make a true crime podcast we'd want to listen to. We get right to the story. We don't
do a lot of extra talk in, and when we do, it's usually to roast the short hairs off of some
loser, murderer, or scammer. You'll laugh, but only at the people who deserve it. Like,
which serial killer would you most like to shove into a locker? B.T.K. and is awful poetry.
Dude got caught because he didn't understand what a floppy disk was. We look for the
stranger than fiction stories, like the case of Patty James, a killer catfish before the
internet was even a thing. Or Howard Walmsley, a sentient wad of damp laundry who convinced his
town he'd won the lottery, fleeced local businesses out of thousands, and then became a romance
scammer. We've covered tons of cases you've never heard of, cults, scammers, killers. So come find
your next great binge. Listen to True Crime Campfire on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your
podcasts. New episodes every Friday. Ever look at someone at the top and wonder, do they even
remember where they started? What did it take to get there? I do on every episode. I'm Evelyn
and on my podcast, Repin, the people the world thinks it knows, gets to say who they actually are.
The grit, the doubt, the moments nobody sees. And everything they learned getting there,
it's yours for the taking. Reppin, find us wherever you listen. Go get it now.
But the idea
Vicki's just,
she wants to relaunch this party
because it just didn't really work.
Bunko has to go again.
We got to start it off again.
Last time that we did this,
it didn't work.
So we're going to do it again
and it's going to work this time.
This intro speech.
Yeah,
the intro speech was fucking hilarious.
And then we go over to the table
and we've got Slade.
We've got pictures of Slade and Gretchen
just sitting around.
It's like, what are they doing here?
Is this an in memoriam?
Did they die?
Are we just like,
Audrey?
No, we're not.
you could tell the moment that Luann had her breaking point.
She's like, why the fuck are we doing?
Shut up.
We don't like these people, right?
Cool.
Slams it down.
Breaks it slams it down.
Everybody's appalled.
It's like, no, that's Luan.
This is what we're going to get.
We're going to get different reactions from different people.
This is exactly what we want.
And I feel like this is the only time that I will, it's these one-off shows where I actually
do appreciate what Giselle does.
Because when we go to Potomac and she does these things, I'm like, all right.
You're changing words.
You're doing things.
I know you're doing it for the show.
It's very warranted here.
Because as we saw with Tamara and Vicky going, or I'm sorry, Tamara and Shannon going at it,
when Jazeel pulls Tamara away because she knows Tamara, she spends time with Tamara, she's talked to Tamara.
I had a conversation with Vicky earlier.
And Vicki just said, you know, she doesn't really like you because she's not really sure what she's going to get.
And she doesn't want to tell you things because it might pop off in a different way where you're going to just use that against someone.
one is ammunition. And I'm just telling you what Vicky told me because we just had a conversation
earlier. Not what Vicki said necessarily. Vicki is very, well, Gizel says verbatim just to got to tee up here.
Tells Tamara that Vicki can't, Vicki told me that she can't confide in you because she doesn't trust you.
Yeah. Read between the lines there, Giselle, but also Giselle knows what she's doing. And this is a time
where I appreciate it. I don't appreciate it on Potomac. I appreciate it here and I appreciate it specifically
with Tamara because that's the first time and maybe it gives me some hope for Vicky this season
on OC with Tamara.
It's the first time that anybody's just said that very plainly.
Vicky included like Vicki talking to to Giselle on the boat even though we didn't have
footage, we had audio of it.
She's not wrong.
I mean, that's what we've been saying about Tamara.
That's what we've been saying about why people on O.C are so afraid to even come close
to Tamara or tell her anything because they'll use it against her.
It's essentially what Vicki's saying, but she's just, you know, explaining her role on O.C.
and what's going on in the show and how we're doing all of these things.
And it probably started off as a simple conversation like, hey, tell me about your cast.
Are you excited to get back into it because you're starting to film in a couple of weeks, right?
Yeah, we are.
So what do you think is going to happen?
Tell me everything you know about Tamara.
And that's what she came up with.
But when Tamara and Vicki sit down, Vicki's so matter of fact about it.
And she does such a great job at just handling Tamara, which again, gets me very hopeful for the season.
She's able to just kind of talk Tamara off the ledge because you can see the wheels spin in for Tamara.
she's like, oh, this is another moment that I could have.
Maybe I get into a fight with Vicky.
I already had a fight with Shannon.
The Trace Amegas are falling apart.
People are going to be excited for O.C.
This is how I do it.
Instead, Vicky just knocks her right down.
Like, that's not what I said.
It's not exactly how I said it.
You know what I'm talking about.
It's just, you know, the cameras turn on and you become unpredictable.
Okay. Tamara seems to understand that, which again is very funny,
because she never understands it during the show, but she gets it now.
So I don't know what I'm going to get with all of this,
but it was very interesting to at least.
have that like in-between conversation that we seemingly never have yeah and i think joselle doing that
for a show that's five or six episodes max i think we need somebody that's going to throw random
shit like that out there and you know to stir up some drama between these ladies because i think
what you run into with ultimate girls trip is because they don't know each other as well they're
more hesitant to to get into the shit joselle doesn't give a shit which i love about her i've always
like that about her. She will
stir the pot if she feels that
the show needs a little something. Like you said,
there's plenty of times in Potomac where it's like,
dude, you're doing too much. We don't need
this. You don't need to generate some kind
of bullshit right now. For a five
episode run, we do need to generate some
bullshit. And that's what she's perfect for. So
I appreciate that she said that to Tamara.
I also love my favorite part
of the whole thing is
her saying,
her being Giselle,
using her quote unquote friendship
with Tamara. I'm not saying you guys aren't friends by any means, but the way that you're framing
this is as though you guys are super tight and how dare Vicki say that about your friend Tamara,
which you don't have to hide behind that. You can simply say, like, yeah, I wanted to start some
shit. So I got Vicki going, like, period, or got Tamara going. The one thing that did drive me up a
wall and, you know, I can't help myself. But just again, like when Tamara shifts her tone of voice
into like, well, Vicky, like, I'm always there for you.
That shit is like nails on the chalkboard for me.
I cannot stand when you get, oh, but I'm, it's poor little Tamara.
Like, oh, God, why would you say that about me?
We're so close.
And for her to go through this whole thing.
And I think I'm kind of locked in on it because we're currently covering OC as well.
So it's like, yeah, OC on the brain.
But when she's sitting there going through everything and saying, well, that's between
Shannon and I.
It's like, look, that is a testament to your character that you do these things and say these things.
People are allowed to not be friends with you because of how you treat other people.
So for her to be like, hey, whoa, I'm being awful to Shannon.
I'm not being awful to you.
How dare you have an issue with me being awful to Shannon, who, by the way, is one of Vicki's close friends.
So of course she feels some type of way.
And Tamara's like, that's over there.
That's separate.
Okay.
I could be awful.
but I'm not awful to you so like me
yeah they just like me at the end of the day
that's what Tamara always wants
that's exactly what she wants from pretty much everybody
on the cast um if I'm to believe this list
and just kind of going through the cities for interesting
games to pop out as we go to Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills Beverly Hills is going to be kind of interesting
the New York one is probably the most interesting
and I'll get to that in the minute is Renna
but I I see no no no
no Ren is not on this list um
but Adrian Maloof is on this list.
Crystal is on this list.
That's kind of interesting.
Erica Jane, as we know,
there was another one that stood out to me.
Oh, Camille Grammer.
And yeah, that's...
She's been on a couple times over the past few years.
Yeah, Camille, yeah, I kind of expect.
Adrian Maloof is kind of funny, though,
because I've been watching old Beverly Hills.
So that would kind of hit or scratch an it in a weird way.
Yeah, but that's really it.
I mean, the New York one is fucking.
loaded though.
Obviously we've got Durinda,
Kelly Ben-Simon,
Alex McCord.
Yes, really?
Oh my God.
Alex McCord is...
I was going to be on it.
Yeah, probably.
No, probably not.
That guy was fucked in this car.
And then obviously they're going to put some of the newer
Rooney ones in, like, Cy's going to be in there.
That's probably at the end.
I don't know if that's going to be more like New York,
but Carol's obviously going to be there.
let's see who else do we have here a lot of the road island girls are going to be there too
Atlanta's kind of interesting I don't think marlo's going to be there but marlo's on the list nini
um
and uh is kenny on the list that'd be surprised no no kenny is not there Lisa woo is on the list and
kim zolciak's on the list so that's going to be oh yeah so i read
i miss shirrary i think Atlanta is going to be a fine i mean Miami's going to be my favorite stop
for sure because i i just miss the miami women but i think Atlanta is going to be a very
interesting stop, especially if we get more
Nini and we throw Shiree in there and Lisa Wu.
That's going to be kind of fun.
Give me she by Shiree.
Please. Just one question.
Ask her if the line's still coming out.
What's going on with the website?
Yeah, what's going on with your website?
God, that would hit like crack, dude.
Oh my God. I forgot about that.
But I mean, look, it's a good list.
It's a solid list. I'm excited weirdly to see this kind of play out.
I think that having this approach of an ultimate
a girls trip where it's more of a celebration of the housewives over the years is such a
better idea than throwing a bunch of randos together in some random location and watching them
just be awkwardly hanging out together this is fun and like i said i think that there's a chance here
that this kind of invigorates some housewives in some kind of way where they're like oh yeah
this is what it's all about and i'm ready to to get back to housewife and yeah yeah i know i know
we're going to have like a bunch of initial questions and a lot of them are probably just going to be
should I watch your favorite iconic moment yeah I know so we'll just get through as many of these
as possible because I know these these episodes are probably going to be a little shorter as they are
just at least early on until we keep going um from Nikki Nichols is the show enjoyable even if you
don't watch all the franchises yes yes I think they will I think the the interesting spin off or byproduct
of watching this is going to be a, oh, wow, that's really interesting.
Oh, that's a cool dynamic.
Let me go back and figure out what season was the best for that person that I just met,
and we'll go back and do that.
Like, you're going to end up watching, like, season six or seven or eight of, like,
Beverly Hills within no time.
100%.
There's a few of these in here, so I'll lump them together.
I'll try to read some of your names, so you don't feel like you got left out.
Jennifer 6-1-200, T-Gal,
nail and there's one more.
Leah Hall, 90, and if there's other people in here, I apologize.
But the overwhelming sentiment is, is Vicky trying too hard to be Vicky from the past?
What I will say is this.
This was her first time back on camera.
O.C. is her first time back on a season in a while.
I think that we are going to have to put up with like full throttle Vicky
for a little while to kind of get that out of our system.
I don't think we should put too much emphasis on it.
Just kind of let her wear herself out and maybe we'll hit our stride.
If this is still happening in episode four, yeah, annoying.
And yeah, that would be a bummer because I'm looking forward to the rest of the show.
But I think for now, let's just take a beat.
Let her get it out.
Yeah, let's get a chill pill.
Bill.
Lindsay Bucks made a good point.
She's got three points here.
So this is basically just another episode of O.C.
Can't wait to move on to another city.
I agree with that.
One, they had to cut out stuff from that fight, right?
You're drunk with no man as standard Tamara.
Two, how would that just get her kicked off of filming other stops?
That was nothing.
I forgot.
Tamara was supposed to be involved in other stops,
but they ended up just cutting it out because they didn't want Tamara around.
That was the rumor anyway.
I don't know if that was ever confirmed by Bravo,
but I think Tamara started talking about that on two T's or something.
Again, we don't listen to two T's.
But I do remember that maybe Tamara was just supposed to go to the Bluestone Manor thing
and she ended up not going because of the way this worked out.
I'm upset if they ended up cutting stuff out of that fight because the way that I
thought it was going to go was a knockdown, drag out crazy fight.
And then we start off the season with, oh, Tamara and Shannon aren't talking
because it was so bad at the quiet woman.
that was like again
not even top 10 of
Shannon Tamara fights so I don't get it
that much so maybe you're right maybe they cut some stuff
out and then they just decided not to film it
or here's what I think happened
this would be such a Bravo thing
to do
because OC is airing
at the same time
they very easily could have cut things out of this
to say it for OC
instead of point in this moment
that's a possibility
I'm not really sure
this is another one that got a lot of traction.
There's a couple of questions in here,
but basically the same thing.
So I'll try to lump them in together.
Meg's Valentine.
You asked it kind of twice,
but is Heather seething that she's not the Salt Lake City rep?
And will Heather be humbled since she wasn't chosen as the Salt Lake City rep?
Someone else also asked about this.
Oh, Marissa and Palma,
why do you think Lisa got the look over Heather?
Is Bravo over her finally?
I would hope so.
and I think there was one more in here that I thought was funny too.
Oh, Jennifer 612S.
Do you think that Heather's upset that Lisa's there or not Heather?
Yes, to all of the above.
Oh, yeah.
And I do also hope that means that Bravo is somewhat over Heather and they chose Lisa Barlow.
Yeah, I imagine that Heather's probably upset that Lisa got to go instead of her.
But we'll have to wait and see because Salt Lake's going to start in a couple of weeks here.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I forgot about that.
But I think that at the end of the day, yes, Brose,
Bravo does seem to hold Heather in high regard.
I do not think Bravo holds Heather above Lisa Barlow at all.
I think LB is the star of this show.
I think they know that.
I think that if they'd put Heather on this,
they're well aware of the backlash they would have gotten
because we'd all be clamoring for LB.
So, yeah, I don't know of what it means for Heather in the future.
If this does knock her down a peg,
I highly doubt it.
I'm sure she'll spin it in some weird way where she's like,
I was going to do it.
But, you know, I was hokey up with Captain Jason.
and I couldn't.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's a good point.
Allison Galleon, who do you think will pop off on Vicky first?
Jazele or Portia?
Jazele won't pop off.
She will bide her time and find a moment.
Portia, I think it would be faster to clap back at her.
Pop off.
Put something together.
Yeah, Jazeel would wait until episode four and then drop some weird scheme that she's been planning.
Yeah, yeah.
She'll say something.
I think Jizel will be a little shady towards Vicky,
but maybe not fully pop off.
Portia in the moment could pop off.
I'm still hopeful just because we haven't really seen a lot of it.
I want like Lisa or Teresa to pop off rather than the other two
because we've seen enough of Portia and Giselle.
We haven't seen a whole lot of Lisa Barlow recently.
We haven't seen a whole lot of Teresa in a long time.
So one of those two popping off in Vicki would be funnier.
Oh, thank you.
Sof Eloise.
Kyle has no iconic moments and it shows.
this show proves she breaks nothing thank you it was like literally like watching a cast of housewives
and then a fan that got picked to hang out with them that doesn't say do anything doesn't break
anything to it and she is the face of one of the storied franchises on bravo like give me a
fucking break that's a really good point um all right we'll we'll end on this one just because it's
kind of open ended but uh uh i i i
Actually, which one do I want to go with?
I don't know.
No, I'll go with this one.
From Maria L. Sellers.
Is there anyone on this cast that you'd replace with someone else from their franchise?
Oh, put Eric and Jane on.
Swap Kyle for Eric.
Eric is not as iconic.
I mean, you're never going to get rid of Kyle.
So.
No,
there's no way Kyle wasn't on this show.
I mean,
I would swap Kyle for release of Vanderpump.
That would be fun, actually.
That's a good call.
I don't think that she really has much going on, though.
but yeah, I think that works.
That would throw the whole fucking Beverly Hills show into a tizzy.
If they brought back LVP to represent Beverly Hills and she's not on the show,
you are producing so much organic drama.
That would have been probably the best thing that Bravo could have done for Beverly Hills
is put LVP in instead of Kyle.
Yeah, yeah, I would have loved that.
That's my answer.
That's a great answer.
That's, you win, you win that one.
Thanks.
Bravo, no pun intended.
But yeah, to those, there's a few in here that asked, should I watch it?
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's entertaining.
Good.
Yeah.
And we'll see how it shapes up.
I've got high hopes, but I've got hopes.
I think we're going to have a fun product here.
I'm welled, as blacksmith Trump would say.
I'm feeling welled right now.
Feeling well.
So anyway, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
All good here.
All right.
Well, I got to go finish this recipe.
So Rob Bros are out of here.
You've watched them from the outside your whole life.
On TV, on stage, on the cover.
The success that always looks like it happened to someone on a different planet.
But what if it didn't?
I'm Evelyn and I've spent over 25 years in entertainment,
producing for some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
And here's what I learned.
The distance between you and them,
it's a lot shorter than anyone's letting on.
On my podcast, Repin,
I sit down with the people you've been watching.
watching and I asked them who they actually are, not the brand, the person, where they started,
what it costs them, what almost broke them, their grit, their courage, their resilience,
and the lessons they've learned, it's all yours for the taking.
Repin, wherever you listen.
Reality TV is messy, pop culture is louder than ever, and the internet, completely unhinged.
