Bros & Shows - Charlie & The Bowling Factory? (Next Gen NYC Full Recap S2E2)

Episode Date: July 8, 2026

What's up bros? It seems we finally have our full cast together and the friendship lines are becoming clearer by the second; well, basically if you like Charlie you're making multiple enemies. The goo...d thing is that in a normal show, we'd be bogged down by this for a long time but in this show Charlie seems to really not care what anyone thinks and it's really ruffling some feathers. Love him or hate him, he's still the engine that makes this show dramatic at times and goofy at other times. Is Charlie stealing boyfriends? No, probably not. But he is toeing a few lines and we think he knows exactly what he's doing Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:00:30 It is funny. It's like, well, first of all, this episode wasn't nearly as hectic as the last one. This was a little bit more congruent, which I appreciated. But it's almost like you're watching young 20 somethings, cosplaying as adults. Like they think they're like super grown up. But then you're like, oh, but they're only 22, 23. Not in a condescending way. I'll explain more later.
Starting point is 00:00:54 I think that's kind of the point. I think it's not that the next gen is here. I think this is the next gen is. the next gen is on its way. But here, try to have them figure out doing exactly what you just explained. But there's still massive, massive immaturity levels, which makes it fun. As there's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos. Oh man, it's 8 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:01:15 And so that'll make it a... I don't need the spotlight. I shine just fine. Hi, I'm karma. And yes, I am a bitch. Bravo Bros. Good evening, everybody. welcome back to another episode of Brof Bros, your favorite podcast from the Bros for everybody,
Starting point is 00:01:36 for whoever wants to listen. I have your co-host, Steele Russell, joined as always by the one and only urban goot fitters. What's up, dude? Yeah, that's good. We know the guy that owns that. We went to school with his daughter. I don't know, and his son. I don't know if I never met him directly, but he's apparently the reason why our school is,
Starting point is 00:02:01 called what it is now and not what it used to be. So that's not great. I love that. I delivered his Christmas tree once and he was kind of a dick. Yeah. So there you go. I'd be a dick to you too if you showed up with a Christmas tree. I was the best.
Starting point is 00:02:16 That was my favorite job. I delivered Christmas trees all through high school and when I moved back to Philly after my whole drinking debacle, I did it again for like two or three years. Delivering trees rocks. You're delivering holidays. holiday spirit. You smell like pine trees, which is always good. And you usually get tipped pretty well. But yeah, he didn't tip me. And I delivered his trees. He's a big ass tree. And he's got this wacky house. They had one of those, I don't even know what they're
Starting point is 00:02:45 called. You know what you have like the, in the middle of your house. It's almost like a courtyard, but it's completely closed off. And it's like a terrarium almost. Atrium. Atrium, maybe. Maybe. But yeah, one of them. But yeah, he was very like, too. You know what I'm saying like i'm delivering your treat butthole yeah yeah it's one of those things where you're that rich you don't understand how life works so you don't tip
Starting point is 00:03:10 you're like yeah everybody's everybody's as rich as I am but not really as rich as I am just you know everybody's well off everybody's good I don't have to do anything else yeah but we do finally have the full cast so we were missing two I think this is the full cast there might be another one they're going to throw in but right now it seems like this is
Starting point is 00:03:26 the full cast because we know Riley was down in Atlanta last week doing something probably with her mom or mom adjacent. And we get to meet Rowan this week, which we then get to meet Brooke Shields next week, which I'm very excited about. Other than that, it seems like we've got the full cast and we get the lay of the lands where everybody else is because we know there's a lot of mixing things up. And obviously this episode picks up right where we left off in episode one. But we get to understand how everybody feels about everybody, which is something that I appreciate because you never really know with groups like this, especially in their early 20s, a lot of things can change in about four months. Yeah, they, it's really interesting to watch because obviously they, they all have impressive jobs already.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Like they're all doing well in the influencing or whatever their little facet might be. They're seemingly very successful. It's just I love the conversations, like the shit that they are disgusting. Okay. Yes. And like, it's just funny because, you know, you're at a New York event. this is something we would see on, you know, Real House Arts in New York or in the city,
Starting point is 00:04:35 but you don't expect it to be full of like 20-year-olds, 21-year-olds, like having real drinks, like drinking Savignon Blanc and like an old-fashioned, but they're like 21. It's just a funny dynamic. It makes me laugh. Maybe we all go through that phase. I used to like old fashions when I was 21, 22,
Starting point is 00:04:53 when I was just kind of putting on it. God, because you watch the Big LaBalbals. Yeah, exactly. They're delicious, by the way. Milks. Until you have like seven of them and you're just full of milk. But yeah, I agree with you. I really agree with you.
Starting point is 00:05:13 I think it's really funny to watch this. And especially with their age level, I think a lot of the things that they're talking about is kind of just like, all right, like, how are we, we're really doing this right now, which I feel like that kind of pushes me weirdly towards Charlie, where I see his reactions to things. like, are we still fucking talking?
Starting point is 00:05:30 Like, this is what we're doing right now. And there is a lot of those types of conversations. There's a lot of those types of arguments. Hell, the argument that we're still having from episode one is one of those arguments. Your mom unfollowed me. I've got the screenshots to prove it. I'm on Gia's side with all of this. Yes, you and I spoke about it last year.
Starting point is 00:05:47 I agree. Teresa probably did do that shit. Anytime you accuse Teresa of doing some shit, she probably did do that shit. But who cares? And why do you have screenshots to prove it? Like, what is this? And I feel like it's just a constant reminder. You're like, oh, yeah, they're 21, 22.
Starting point is 00:06:00 They actually care about these things. That makes sense to me. So I guess maybe I'll just have to start getting into that, which I really hope it doesn't affect my real life. I couldn't be further from Gia's side. Simply because of the way she's going about it, she's like, oh, she accidentally unfollow. Like, okay, that's my problem.
Starting point is 00:06:18 I don't care about this issue. I don't know why it's such a big issue between them. It's objectively very funny that they're so caught up on it. But that's what happened. Ava's just saying your mom unfollowed me. Here's proof of your mom unfollowing me. And Gia's going, that's a I or she mistakenly unfollow.
Starting point is 00:06:38 No, that doesn't make any sense. Yeah. I think at base level, I don't give a shit. So I think that if Gia just took the approach of like who cares, I'd fully be Gia's team. So I get what kind of what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:06:52 But in my mind, as soon as the proof gets broken out, I'm like, why the fuck do you have proof of that? Who does that? Like, grow up. Get over yourself. Who unfollows your friend or daughter's friend? Teresa, of course.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Sure. But I guess that's also why we love Teresa. Like, that's exactly what made her a great housewife, is that she's doing the same shit to like a 22-year-old that she would do to March. Yeah, that's a good point. I don't love Teresa, but I do get why she's good for TV. But yeah, I mean, hopefully we can squash the unfollowing thing. And as far as Charlie goes,
Starting point is 00:07:24 he just seems like and maybe I'm watching this from the lens of like being a parent now but I'm like you seem like a really bad influence you see like a really bad influence kid like I don't know I wouldn't let you around my kids he's just he's like a dark cloud he's just trying to like fuck everybody up maybe it's that
Starting point is 00:07:43 I'm looking through a different lens I'm looking through the lens of the show if he didn't befriend Shea if he didn't befriend Hudson after him and Ariana breakup shy I always call I want to call I don't know why. Probably a basketball player.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Either way, I think if he didn't do that, he wouldn't have anyone. He would have no one to talk to. He would just be spending every single one of his scenes just kind of wandering around. Now, Omar is where the wrinkle comes in where it's like, all right, but I don't really understand exactly where him and Georgia were. It seems like they're pretty similar to, obviously, they didn't date, but it's very similar to what Arianne was explaining her and Hudson have been doing. Like, yeah, we've been together for like 10 years.
Starting point is 00:08:19 We're on and off, you know, mostly on for about three or four years. It's all very confusing. that is young 20s friendships where you're just like you hate someone and then a couple of weeks later you're fine. I fully expect Georgia and Charlie to be friends by the end of the season. I just think it's going to happen. I feel like it's inevitable. But I do think the way that the show plays out, if he didn't have any friends, it would be a lot harder to watch. It would be a lot harder to watch Charlie just kind of like show up at parties and everybody just kind of give him the cold shoulder.
Starting point is 00:08:46 I think he'd still be fine, just given his personality. But I think by befriending other people, it brings them into the fold. and now everybody else can kind of look at them, which they're trying to do it. And look, if you want to look at it like, all right, everybody is justified in their hatred of Charlie, fine. I'm not going to fault you for that. But all they're really trying to do is just bully everybody else around him
Starting point is 00:09:05 to not be friends with him, which I'm never going to go for. No, and I will say this. You know, I get bad vibes from him. Like, I do think that he's very charming. That comes off pretty clearly. But he does seem to just be kind of nefarious. All of that being said, I think this show is nowhere near as good if he's not on it. I think he is the driving force of this entire show.
Starting point is 00:09:33 And he does bring kind of an edge to it. There's something about Charlie, like, you kind of get it, right? When you're watching it, I'm like, I get why the dudes around you are like, want to hang out with you. I get why all the ladies are talking shit on you, but the minute you turn on the charm a little bit, they will have a one-on-one conversation like we see with Ariane at the end of this episode. Like you kind of understand, at least I get it. And I think that without him, I don't know how this show looks. He does seem to be a very important part, which then gives the question,
Starting point is 00:10:05 I don't know what's going to shake out the crypto torture house stuff. But does he have a future on this show? Like, is he caught up with all that nonsense? I don't think he, I think we would know by now, at least at this juncture. I mean, I'm sure there's still like investigations going on, but I think if there was any real hard evidence, again, we're not lawyers. We'll put our hands up for that. We are not lawyers.
Starting point is 00:10:27 I would imagine if there was any hard evidence that pointed Charlie being there, he wouldn't be on the show anymore. Like Bravo would do their due diligence to make sure that they don't have. Yeah. Well, no, this is different. This isn't white color crime. This isn't weird shit. I think Jen Shaw was like right at the cusp,
Starting point is 00:10:42 but she was well over the line. But she was the last straw where it's like, okay, yeah, the white collar shit, we're got to knock it off. Like, if you want to cheat on your taxes, You want to not pay your mortgage taxes. You want to do whatever else and get involved in a Ponzi scheme. That's okay because we want to see how that plays out. A torture chamber, I think we would have to draw the line somewhere well below that.
Starting point is 00:11:01 But again, we don't really know what works in Bravo. I would imagine he wouldn't be on the show if they had any inkling that he might be involved. And I would imagine that we would have heard something by now if there was any evidence that was going to push towards him. But I think it's really interesting just to watch. And again, like this is the main component of the show. You can talk about all the weird arguments. that happened throughout all the weird relationship things that are going on in the show.
Starting point is 00:11:24 But at its core, it's really just, how do you feel about Charlie? And I like to kind of go down the list. I think you've got Brooks at the top who would love it if Charlie was off the show so he could stop hanging out with him, which is going to bite him in the ass
Starting point is 00:11:36 because I'm agreeing with Charlie. Brooks just sounds kind of whiny. That's kind of how he is. He walks over to Charlie's like bitching and complaining about everything he does and then he's smiling to his face, which I never really like. But I think somewhere in the middle is probably where Riley is,
Starting point is 00:11:49 and I want to see how that shakes out. I like that. You're still willing to talk to the guy, but you're still making it well known. Like, hey, I don't really fuck with you right now. And then Georgia obviously is at the bottom where I think they're going to be friends
Starting point is 00:11:58 by the end of the season, but she's still pissed off about last year. And she's pissed off about the whole Omar situation. Yeah, I get it. I mean, it's a lot of weird friendships in regards to that. And it does give very much so, like, you know, more young, bopped around the city. And this guy sucks.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Wait, no, now he's cool. like back and forth, the back and forth. But as we get further into the episode, this show is all about the friendships, which I do actually really like. I think that's a fun way to do it. They're very focused on everyone's relationship with each other. Yes, there's a lot of trivial bullshit going on,
Starting point is 00:12:34 but we talk about it a lot on other shows where when you can tell they're actually friends, it makes the show that much more enjoyable. What I'll say about Amira, I very much appreciate that she is bringing Charlie into everything. that she is doing or being the one to invite him to things and everyone else is trying to ice him out because we will not have a new show in its second year and we're already icing out cast members one very important cast member because that shit doesn't work so i'm glad
Starting point is 00:13:03 that she's doing that but i am a big leum fan leum might be my favorite this guy's super interesting and i want to believe him you know what i mean i want to believe this is leon i'm I'm on the end that there is going to be some bad. I feel like there's more to uncover about Liam. So do I. That's what I want to believe. Yeah. And we'll talk about the scene where he's sitting down with his two friends that aren't
Starting point is 00:13:30 involved in the show. I think that kind of gives you a bit of an eye into his life. I just feel like he's one of those guys that's going to end up kind of turning heel at some point, whether it's with Charlie, whether it's against Charlie, whether it's with Hudson, whether it's against Hudson with the whole Ariana situation. I'm not really sure yet. I like Liam. I think he's interesting.
Starting point is 00:13:49 And I think he can bring a lot to the show. I just don't know exactly where he's going to end up. But I feel like season two, especially for the shows like this, this is like an integral season. This is when you actually start to see them. They have been doing it. I like saying doing the work, but they have been doing the work in the off season by hanging out.
Starting point is 00:14:04 So that's huge. Again, we talk about that with a lot of different shows. The first season was a lot of kind of growing pains. Like, I don't really hang out with you that much. You're this person's friend. You're that person's friend. We've seen each other a few times. I don't really know what makes you tick.
Starting point is 00:14:18 the second season now you see that they've been hanging out. Now you see that they've been having a lot of parties together, having a lot of run-ins, and they know firmly how they feel about somebody, which obviously the feelings can change. But that's why the second season in shows like this are very important, because while they were just new friends last year, they now know a lot more about each other. And I feel like that kind of comes through a lot for shows like this for the friendships. Yeah. And speaking of Liam and his two friends, Jackson and Kendall,
Starting point is 00:14:43 they're chit-chatting about the party from the night before. and the Hudson, Ariana and all that stuff. Hudson is very pressed by Liam. He does not care for the conversations he's having with Ariana. I think this is going to bite Hudson in the ass. I think this is going to push Liam into Ariana's arms because he goes and he's like, that's my girl. That's a big boundary.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Hudson's a little bitch. That's kind of what I get from him. And I think last week we got the wrong notion. We thought it was just Charlie kind of whispering at his ear. and we even said, you have the devil and the angel on your shoulders. When Ariata starts talking about Hudson and the things that he's been doing and the things that he was while they were dating, like he's very protective. And this is more of the same from Hudson, but we're not dating anymore. I swear, guys, we're really not dating anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:30 It's like, okay, I don't, you know what, I'm just going to leave that part of it aside because I don't believe you as it is. But when you talk about Hudson and you're talking about him being overprotective, to who? Like, what is this guy actually doing? I know he's rich. But aside from that, what else is he really bringing to the table? everything you're telling me about this guy is that you leave the house, you come back and he's still sitting in the same spot in the same underwear and he hasn't showered and he hasn't gone to the gym or anything.
Starting point is 00:15:52 So I'm not really afraid of Hudson. But when he does that last week, I'm like, oh, Charlie's, there's Charlie's influence. There he goes. He's trying to push him to do something. Then you see later in this episode, it's like, no, actually, I think that might just be who he is and I don't really like him. I think he's somewhere in the middle. And I think that you're seeing him kind of act out towards the Charlie side of things
Starting point is 00:16:14 because he doesn't have the anchor that was Ariada. So now he's like, ooh, I'm going to be a bit more of a quote, unquote, very loosely, quote unquote, bad boy. He's not in any way, shape, or form. But we did find out his dad owns Zaxby's or started Zaxby. So that's where he gets all of his money's from. He's got that chicken tandy money. So he's loaded.
Starting point is 00:16:36 But yeah, Ariana's biggest issue with him is that he just didn't do shit. So now we're going to probably see not a redemption arc, but a fake I'm getting my shit together arc that I don't think is going to be real. And I think what the friendship he has with Charlie is showing, I agree with you. I don't think it's that Charlie is this bad influence. I think that's actually in there.
Starting point is 00:16:59 It's inside of Hudson and it's manifesting in this friendship with Charlie. It's like he's now that he no longer is Ariani. He's like, ha, I'm going to go all in on this. But I have the option to blame it on Charlie. Yeah, that's probably going to happen. I imagine for the story arc of this season, we're going to start talking and we start talking about it in this episode, that Charlie just has this gravitational pull.
Starting point is 00:17:23 It doesn't really matter. People end up just kind of coming over to them, hanging out with them. They fall for the charm. But I think what's going to end up happening, mid-season, late season, whatever it might be, you kind of uncover that Hudson's a bit of a piece of shit. And that's what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:17:36 So it's really not Charlie's fault, which, again, is funny vindication for Charlie. Do I really think he's a good dude? No, but he's highly entertaining. he knows how to play the camera. He knows how to play these situations and knows how to pit people against each other. So he's going to revel in it for episodes and seasons every single time.
Starting point is 00:17:53 And it's going to work out in his favor. He's just that type of guy. Yeah, but I do agree with Jackson. And what was the friend? Jackson and Kendall. Liam, you have no ties to Hudson. You don't know. You can make a move on Ariad if she's into it.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Like, go for it. I don't see any roadblocks there just because Hudson's being. little bitch. Yeah. You know, that's, that's not a reason to not pursue. I'll agree.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Just because some bitch boys complaining in your ear, now these pants are $5,000. You should have spilled something on them. Thanks for wiping the seat, bro. What a weird thing to say to somebody. I think going over and laying out ground rules. Like,
Starting point is 00:18:31 I don't need to know about your ground rules, man. Like, get out of my face. I really don't. It's like a 1950s high school movie. Like, hey, that's my girl.
Starting point is 00:18:40 You get away from her where we're going to get you. bizarre. It was snapping those. That was that. Like the West Side story kind of vibe. Anyway, Arianna and Gia are talking about one of the main points of the whole episode is that people have issues with Charlie hanging out with their significant others or close friends. That's what Ariana is saying about Hudson. And, you know, we get little nuggets along the way. And that's where the charm of Charlie kind of wears thin is, I do. think he's doing shady shit like this.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Like I do think that he went to Hudson and asked for a million dollar investment in his club. And I do think he's going to use this breakup to lean on Hudson and try to get that million dollars to invest in this club that he's doing with Omar. And I think that given the circumstances, I think Hudson's in a terrible spot. I think he is so impressionable in this moment. And I think that the more Ariana tries to get involved to get Charlie away, is only going to push him further towards Charlie.
Starting point is 00:19:45 And Charlie's like, ha, ha, give me that money, baby. Come on. Yeah. I feel like that's Hudson's lesson to learn at the end of the day. That's kind of the motif of what we're watching. You've got to learn these tough lessons when you're going to learn shit. He's got a billion dollars.
Starting point is 00:19:59 No, yeah, he's not really going to give a shit. But I thought it was kind of telling too while Arianna is kind of going through everything. He came to Hudson while they were still together and asked him. And when she asked Hudson about it, he said, I'm just going to just going to hear. him out, you know, I don't plan on doing this. I never give him money. That's a foot in the door.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Like, it's absolutely a foot in the door. And that might just be where Hudson was. Like, maybe he always wanted to be friends with Charlie. Maybe he always wanted Charlie's approval. And that was going to be his gateway into it. And again, a million dollars is probably a drop in the bucket for him. Even if he gives him like 500K, it's still going to work out. And yes, Charlie will probably burn him in the end.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Or he'll keep on as an investor and just kind of try to keep piling money into whatever he's trying to build. But that's again for Hudson to decide. Now, it's going to be interesting to see if that pops back up. Is Ariana going to step up or is she just going to leave it alone? Because that'll tell you if they're actually broken up or not, or if she plans on getting back with them very soon. I think that that could be a reason for her to get involved with Hudson again.
Starting point is 00:20:57 Because she might feel like, oh, well, if I'm not around, you're falling victim to this guy. So I need to step back in. I don't really know. Baby deer. Yeah. There's poor, poor, pathetic little baby deer with a billion dollars. Oh, woe is me. But speaking to Charlie and Omar, we have a scene with both of them talking about this club idea.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Now, obviously, the big issue that they're facing now is Charlie's public image is not great. He is literally the face of a crypto torture house because he was standing outside of it and they took a picture of his face. The one thing that I want to get more involved in or more invested in, but not if God, no, no, I hate that we. talk about crypto bros in this show. It drives me crazy. But the Georgia thing and the club, okay, I cannot hear one more time that they stole my creative because I'm going to rip my hair out. I do want to know, like show us the specs, show us the idea and then compare it to theirs. But I don't want to keep hearing they stole my idea because if it's just a bowling alley, there's a bazillion bars with bowling alleys.
Starting point is 00:22:12 That's not an original idea. And I'm actually more on Charlie's side there. If that's the only takeaway, or it's like, well, I said bowling alley. So what? You don't own bowling alleys. I'm also going to throw a flag on it anyway, because if the whole idea from Charlie's end is some sort of upscale club
Starting point is 00:22:30 where you get an exclusivity rights and you get to have a membership and you come in and it's a cocktail club, does that smell like a bowling alley to you? No, that smells like poor. If you have a bowling alley in your bar, that's where people go who don't have a lot of money. I mean, I love going to a bar of the bowling alley, but it's actually a nightmare. When you really think about it and you've actually been there, it sucks balls.
Starting point is 00:22:53 And the food is always terrible. So if that was George's idea, go for it. Yeah, it's always, that's weird. Yeah, it is always cold. It keeps the balls cold, I guess. There might be something there, scientifically speaking. Sure. But, yeah, I can't hear it either.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Nor do I really want to see the scene again of her at the whiteboard, just underlining bowling five times. That's really just driving at home, but this has nothing to do with your idea. This is what Charlie's coming up with. Yeah, I don't understand. I would like to know more if there's more there. Let me see that whole whiteboard.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Yeah, yeah. Give me the whole whiteboard because number four was bowling. What about one through three? They kind of have that blurred out. I think it's surface level. Really, all it is, obviously, is she's pissed off that Omar and Charlie are talking. But it's also she might have some sort of
Starting point is 00:23:38 case to say, I know that the two of you, because Omar and I broke up and now I'm not friends with Charlie anymore, would do this to me and you would try to steal my whole idea. I just can't prove it. I think I'd be okay with that. If she was saying that's all of her friends and we saw that in the scenes, they're just doing this to get back at me. They knew that I wanted to start a nightclub. Now they're starting a nightclub.
Starting point is 00:23:57 It's really annoying. Fine. I'd be totally cool with that and I believe you. But once you go into the, I own the IP on starting a nightclub in New York. No, you lose me entirely. Yeah, boo. And Omar, I don't know, man. Charlie just seems like they're, it just felt like an office in the back of like a nail salon or something. Like, yeah, let's go back to my office and they walk through a storefront. And then there's just an office in the back where nefarious business is concocted. Yeah. Please don't roll the cameras on your way in. Just wait until we get into the room. Exactly. Wait till we get to my office. Don't film anything going on here.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Or it goes up a freight elevator to like an empty office and he just has one. one of the little rooms at the back rented or it's an entire floor but it's unfinished construction and there's just one desk in the middle of it and they put up the drywall themselves just to yeah yeah anyways i'm sure we'll see more about this club they're talking about it too much early on to not have some kind of payoff down the road but we do get to be georgia's boyfriend prez he bugs me too not yet I was fine with him now
Starting point is 00:25:10 for the show I really like the show I really like the show but there's this level of like oh you guys are fucking annoying yeah I know I get that I hope I'm not alone there but like you know they're drinking high tea
Starting point is 00:25:27 oh you've never had high tea before by the way we're bored we're a week of part. Okay. Just the details in which they are focused. I don't understand why it's important. And then your bonding thing is over not washing your hands? That's gross. Ew. Yeah. I washed my hands less since I've met you. Aw, that's cute. Oh, how did I find you? How did I find you? I don't know. Like, I don't even know what the hell they're talking about. Like, is this just never? You never wash your hands? Or is this just specifically like when you go to a bathroom, you don't wash your hands?
Starting point is 00:26:02 Like a lot of people do that. She seems like anti-hand washing, period. I think period is probably the way to do it. And if you notice when she goes to a confessional, she always has those gloves on. So I'm like, what's, are you gloving something up because you're not washing her? Like, did you shake hands with a celebrity and you're not washing your hands? Is that what this is about? Oh, that'd be funny.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Maybe. It's like, what's the, was it something's got to give? Is that when Jack Nicholson can't, when he has to wash his hands like crazy? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. That's the one. Yep.
Starting point is 00:26:31 That was a good movie. But I don't know what she's doing. But that's not like a thing to proclaim. Like, oh, we don't wash each other's hand. Ew. And you live in New York. Like, you need to wash your hands. One of the dirtiest cities.
Starting point is 00:26:44 No. Yes, it is. It's yucky. Well, now it seems like a good at time as any of just take a quick little ad break. And we'll get right back to the rest of next gen. Here we go. Someone's already claiming this is our year. Someone else said that last year, too.
Starting point is 00:26:59 A round of James and ginger and lime arrives at the table. Smooth enough for kickoff, smooth enough for extra time. New friends pulling up a stool. Debates about whether that was a handball. Cheers rising like a roar around the room. Because match days are about the shared moments. How did Jameson to your match day lineup? Jameson, it's what you bring.

Starting point is 00:30:40 Reality TV is messy. Pop culture is louder than ever. And the internet. Completely unhinged. Welcome to Roxanne and Chantel. The podcast where cousins, Roxanne and Chantel, breakdown reality TV, celebrity drama,
Starting point is 00:30:54 and the stories everyone's texting about. We recap the shows, spill the headlines, and sit down with the stars themselves. No filter. No boring takes. Just the tea. New episodes every week.
Starting point is 00:31:06 If it's trending, we're talking about it. This is Roxanne and Chantelle. Let's get into it. Well, let's get to Ava and her manager. They are doing an Urban Outfitters holiday campaign. She's also doing with Riley and Amira. It's her first, like, real big partnerships. This is a big deal.
Starting point is 00:31:25 And I didn't know that Riley was Candy's child until this moment. Yeah, that's awesome. Look at you. Yeah, I know. I had no idea. I was like, oh, shit. Because when she says, I looked just like my mom, I was like, oh, she does look a lot like candy, and that makes a lot of sense.
Starting point is 00:31:40 So I learned that today. Yeah, that was a really good scene with everybody meeting candy last year. Mm-hmm. I didn't see that. So see, I'm catching up now. There you go. But Riley just did a gap year, or she's doing a gap year. She was at NYU.
Starting point is 00:31:56 She wants to be a DJ. This is the most sound logic I've heard from a Bravo Lab considering DJing. and it's from a 22 year old. She's like, I want to be a DJ. But DJ is a hobby. School is my future. I want to be an entertainment lawyer. I was like, yes, there.
Starting point is 00:32:16 That's how we approach these things. Well done. Good for you. Not like all of the actual adults are like, I'm going to DJ now. I'm just going to DJ. Yeah. Hopefully this is the turning of the tides when it comes to the DJs on Bravo.
Starting point is 00:32:29 We got an actual sound reason to become a DJ versus what Kyle's doing. Meredith, you know, they throw Meredith out there, which I think is funny. She's one of the newer ones. You could have thrown anybody from Bravo out there. They're all DJs at this point. That would have been funny. But either way, this might be the turning tide just to get us away from the DJ thing.
Starting point is 00:32:48 We're done with it. Let's find a new hobby for everybody else to invest in. The funny DJ, or I guess it was funny to find out, Bryce, Love Island Bryce. Oh, yeah. Not bad. Not bad. I was surprised. I was pleasantly surprised.
Starting point is 00:33:03 People are now like playing a shit all over TikTok. So he's definitely going to be like a big time DJ now, which is very funny. But Amira is quickly becoming one of my favorite people on Bravo. I think she's great. I'm loving, learning more about her. She's having dinner with her parents. And she talks about the fact, like, I don't have a cushion, which I appreciate. So she is like hustle, hustle, hustle all the time, self-made, lives in a $16,000 a month apartment, which is nuts.
Starting point is 00:33:34 So I really enjoy her. And I don't know if she's going to continue to be the focal point or if she just kicked off the season as our narrator. And now it's going to be more of an ensemble cast. But I did very much like learning more about her life because I think she's very interesting. She is very interesting. I do think the tipping point is definitely going to be her relationship with Charlie because everybody's now identifying that she's the connecting piece to Charlie. So I think that'll result in people going after her. Now, what we've learned from her is that she seems like a no bullshit kind of girl.
Starting point is 00:34:07 So I feel like when everybody starts turning and like, hey, why are you keeping biting Charlie to these things? She'll just tell them to go fuck off, which I'm going to love. But I think that could be enough where other people are like, okay, yeah, we can get back into Charlie camp. We can get back in the Amira camp. That could work out really well for us. But again, I think that's kind of interesting. She wasn't really that big of a piece of the show last year. And now she is kind of taking that center role.
Starting point is 00:34:28 So I would imagine she has a bigger role to play at some point this year. Yeah, we'll see how it plays out. But Ava and Georgia are talking about, again, the main topic of the episode, Charlie and his proximity to other people in their lives. And specifically Omar, because Georgia, she's worried. She's trying, she's comparing the Hudson thing. She's talking to Ava right now, but she's comparing the Hudson thing to the Omar thing. Like, this is what he does, which is kind of interesting.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Normally I'd be like, all right, it's a reach, but it's like, oh, maybe there are patterns here. Maybe he does like to swoop in and steal boyfriends and ex-boyfriends because I don't know why. And he even says later like, like, dude's just like me more. I don't know what his plan is. I don't know if it's necessarily a plan. The Hudson one definitely could be a plan. I would be surprised if that was a plan. That could be just a plan to get money, get some seed money for whatever he wants to invest in.
Starting point is 00:35:22 The Omar thing kind of makes sense to me because him and Georgia were really close. Her and Omar were dating. They became friends along the way. And he didn't just kind of throw him by the wayside when they broke up. he continued to be friends of them, which we saw at the end of last year, too. And that's kind of one of the pieces that Georgia holds against them that she was upset about. Now, obviously, the speaker thing is the biggest issue because they didn't exchange the speaker back and forth for pregames. Very big problem.
Starting point is 00:35:45 But I feel like the Omar thing is just like, nah, they became friends. And, you know, you wanted Charlie to stop hanging out with Omar and he didn't, which, you know, you can be mad at them if you want to. But I feel like she's just adding to the list. Do you think it's just now taking on a life of its own where they're finding, things to throw it Charlie just because they want to distance themselves from the crypto torture house. It's not everything he does. I think that actually could be an underlying issue with some of the cast anyway. Now other people in the cast, I feel like just don't like Charlie at all. Like Brooks, I think doesn't like Charlie at all. And now that the crypto car house came out,
Starting point is 00:36:20 he's like, ah, that's a good reason for me to just kind of distance myself. But I do really think that some of the people who have a lot to lose are like, I don't really want to hang out with this guy, kind of want to wait and see what's going to happen. And then you have people like Gia who are just going to ask him straight to his face if he was involved. Which I appreciate. And that's the Teresa inner, which, you know, reality star for a reason. But Charlie and Shy are hanging out. And they're talking about Georgia again, like the Omar Club shit.
Starting point is 00:36:48 But we learn more about Shy and what he's up to. He is developing his own clothing brand. He goes and like thrift stuff and like steals things from grandmothers as I gathered and then flips them into different shirts. I don't know if he steals them, but that's kind of what it sounded like. But yeah, so he's doing his clothing brand thing. And Charlie believes that he has a crush on Ariana. I think Charlie has a crush at Ariana.
Starting point is 00:37:16 So does everybody have a crush on her? She's like the it girl. Everyone's trying to date. Like what's happening? It could be newly single too, just in that group of friends. Maybe if you had a crush at some point in time, now she's newly single so you can go after. It's the very least, it's the main talking point. And I like watching it because, you know, on the girl's side of things, it's more,
Starting point is 00:37:36 how are you doing? Is everything okay? Is this even real? Did you guys actually break up or is it just for the show? On the dude's side of things, like, nice. Maybe I got a shot now. I'm going to go after this. It's what, like, Jesus.
Starting point is 00:37:48 Kind of, yeah. But that's literally what he says. Yeah, that is literally what he says. But I feel like the reason for this scene anyway is to show us that shy and Charlie are becoming friends. You've become a friend. You're close. The budding friendship.
Starting point is 00:38:02 And when it comes into question later, I think it's pretty clear cut and dry, no. Do you want to hang out with the girls or do you want to hang out with the dudes in the group? Like if you're shy and you just want to like hang out with a couple of dudes, I'm not going to blame you. Even if you don't really know Charlie that much. But I feel like everybody just gets mad at him, even though it's just like, okay, like I want to go hang out with the dudes and watch sports. I don't want to go and hang out with like urban outfiters people. I don't want to go to these balls. I want to go hang out with dudes.
Starting point is 00:38:29 and sit at a cool bar on a cool street and just kind of talk about random shit. So I feel like he's unfairly kind of provoked in the sense where now people are going to start questioning it. But again, it's still very Charlie-centric. Yeah, I think that what I see it as is shy is going to make his own opinion about Charlie, and that's fine. I don't think it's fair that everyone jumps down his throat later for being friends with Charlie. But there is like all of this underlying tension with Charlie.
Starting point is 00:38:57 And that's something on a. show like this with a younger cast and I'm curious if that's going to be a hang up, being able to like have those actual conversations where it's like, we need to hash this out. Like nobody can leave. I need you to sit down and have a one on one. I don't know if that's going to happen very often because we're still in the phase where it's like, fuck that guy. I'm not talking to him.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Or when they do talk, it's just passive aggressive and they make little quips back and forth and somebody walks away and nothing's accomplished. I think we're going to get there. I think we're going to get there pretty soon. I think that the end of this episode in particular kind of shows that there's going to be a few people. I still think, obviously, you're going to have at least three or four people
Starting point is 00:39:37 that just refuse to even talk to them. But I do think we will get there pretty soon. All right. I guess we'll see. But we get towards this urban outfitters event. And Charlie was invited because Amira invited him. Again, I appreciate that we're getting everybody involved. I don't want anybody iced out unless it turns out he was involved
Starting point is 00:39:56 in the cripple of torture house. that I guess we can sequester him somewhere else. But Amira, and I don't, I don't know, like I have a lot of reservations about Charlie. Like I do, I think I agree that he's probably not all bad, but I do think that he's got some shady, shady business going on. But Amira, I feel like she's going to get burnt. I just have this weird feeling that she's the one that's going to get the most affected by this, because she seemingly has the most to lose. She does seem to be the most successful in the group.
Starting point is 00:40:31 The biggest name, she's going to all these massive events. Everybody knows her. Again, $16,000 a month apartment. Like she's fucking loaded all on her own doing. She has the biggest heart for Charlie. She is going with, oh, Charlie's just misunderstood. Like, I know a different side of them.
Starting point is 00:40:51 That to me, it's given. I think you might misjudge this one. And I think that this dude's going to, fuck you up a little bit. I don't know. I feel like when I gauge their friendship because we haven't really seen a whole lot, obviously they filmed some confessionals and things together, which I really do love the dueling confessionals.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Yeah. I think at the end of the day, at least so far from what we've seen, it doesn't look like she really lets him in a whole lot. It seems very surface level. It seems very, I'm going to invite you to do things. Let's just have weird conversations.
Starting point is 00:41:21 That's about it. But you don't really see any more than that. So she might just be able to handle him better than everybody else. She might just understand who he is and not let him into certain aspects of her life while he usually does that and ask those probing questions, whereas other people just can't stand it. Now, again, I think there's a lot to be said about the immaturity level of this cast. Maybe they're just not asking questions. Maybe they just already have their preconceived notion of who Charlie is or they heard one thing that he did wrong and they just immediately wrote him off. I don't know exactly what it is, but you and I both agree he is integral to the show.
Starting point is 00:41:50 So maybe embarrasses that. And she understands like, hey, we still need this guy on the show because he causes a lot of the drama, let me at least befriend him on the show and make sure that he's involved in some of these things. Perhaps. I don't know. It's going to be interesting to watch play out. But at the event, we get to meet Rowan, who is the daughter of Brooks Shields.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Was that raw chicken or was that tuna? I think it was tuna. I'm going to assume it was too. Is it deep fried tuna? Yeah, maybe. Never had that? I mean, I don't know. I didn't even know it was deep fried.
Starting point is 00:42:23 So that's news to me. Well, it had it had breading on it, which is why I chicken. a nugget, but then bite into it and it was quote unquote raw. So maybe it was, but that's my thing. I've never had fried like ahy tuna. Yeah. It's probably good. It's probably awesome, I would imagine.
Starting point is 00:42:40 But I'm going to go out on a limb and just assume it wasn't chicken, just for the sake of whatever catering business was there. I don't want to throw them out. Oh, yeah. We don't want to throw that one of the bus. Yeah. So nice job on the fried tuna. Craft.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Looks beautiful. Yeah, I don't know who catered the event. But. Yeah. this there's there's signs about the wealth of these young adults because prez and rowan know each other how do they know each other but i wouldn't say we summer together but ah that's how we know words like that i don't say that you don't say that i would love to say that but i don't think i could unironically get away with saying hmm shall we summer down the show shall we summered wildwood together
Starting point is 00:43:26 yeah i don't i think we should start saying that to be clear i agree but i don't think the idea i think just the idea of it popping in your head like i wouldn't say that we summer together it's like okay then who do you summer with clearly summer with somebody yeah please to yes please enlighten me who do you someone with i wanted to hear where she's summered probably mad tuckett martha's been you're uh i was just going to say like the hamptons it's obviously the hamptons yeah yeah more than likely the hamptons probably some cool part of the hamptons that we never even heard of that you came to get into also there this is a side note but there was a du ma which you know we don't trust du maw saying that
Starting point is 00:44:10 they started filming summer house for the season and then the first secret episode or the secret from the episode is that they actually do have a house in montaac which if that's true we got burnt by production for that show. Oh, yeah, that's right. He told us explicitly that there was no Halson Monsock and they were still in Manhattan. So if he just lied to our face, we're going to have some beef. Yeah, we're out beef with a network executive at NBC. Yeah, that'll go well. I'm sure. I'm sure we'll win that one. But we're at the party and people are just kind of moving around talking to each other. And again, it's all Charlie-centric. It's people looking at other people talking to Charlie, people getting upset at other people talking to Charlie, mainly shy,
Starting point is 00:44:54 because shy is one talking to Charlie. Riley has her beef with Charlie, which is founded because he was talking all kinds of shit last year. So she doesn't like him. That makes sense. But I don't know. I don't think it's fair too shy to be like, oh, the hell are you doing? Why would you hang out with this guy? It's like you got to at least let him develop that friendship and then find out himself. And also, this is where it's tough. Because like, how much of this is his behavior last year? Because the clips I've seen, I get it, he's a douchebag. I can't stand dudes that think the talking like the way he does,
Starting point is 00:45:31 but it's like, maybe I'll fucker. Like, ew, it's just annoying. I get it. He's like a young 20-something dude, but like, I don't think you get that much if you're talking like that personally. No, I think for the theme of what we're going for here, if you go to your confessional and you start questioning why shy as friends of them,
Starting point is 00:45:48 if you're talking to somebody else at the party and you're asking why shy is friends with Charlie, it kind of goes in with what we're talking about with Hudson. So if you're trying to just kind of draw a comparison, fine, totally cool. But for Brooks to walk over and immediately just put him on the spot and peer pressure on it.
Starting point is 00:46:02 It was bullshit. Yeah, I agree. It's such weird immature behavior. And I love when Charlie goes to his confession. He's like, oh, yeah, look at Brooks talking with his whole chest now, actually coming over here and actually saying something. Oh, no, he's actually not really saying much of anything.
Starting point is 00:46:15 And he still sounds like, yeah, that is actually pretty, actually pretty much what I got from Brooks in the first season. I didn't really understand what Brooks was doing. He didn't bring a ton to the show. And now this is what he's doing. It's like, okay. Are you just going to be that guy that just always has a feeling about Charlie? I think he is hopefully going to find his role in this show. He strikes me as a very shy person. Like, I think that a lot of his, what you would call, like, annoying tendencies or like his whininess, like I do think that he's trying to figure out how to be himself on this show.
Starting point is 00:46:50 That's the vibe I get where he's not 100% comfortable, doesn't know which way he wants to go and like how does he want to be the funny guy? Does he want to be the shit talk or does he want to be the shoulder to cry on? I think he's trying to find that spot. I do think there's a spot for
Starting point is 00:47:05 Brooks marks on this show because I think he's entertaining. I agree he is whiny, but I do think he's entertaining. So I would like to see him kind of hit his stride and settle into a on this show. Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if the biggest thing he does on this show is bring Liam to our screens
Starting point is 00:47:22 because that was his friend that he brought on to the show. And I think it's also funny when you go back to when this show started, obviously the big draw was here's all of the children of the housewives. And while, yeah, that's kind of okay when you look at Ariana and obviously Riley's thriving, you look at Gia and you're like, I don't really know you're, you don't even live in New York. I don't really know what you're bringing to the show. You look at Brooks. You're like, I don't really know what you're bringing to the show.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Maybe by some point. if they continue down this path. And if you're right, obviously, that would be great. But if you're not, you know, we get to season three, season four. And we are really entrenched in talking about Charlie and Georgia and all of the other people that aren't housewives, children. You might just start snipping them one by one. It's all right. We can get rid of this person.
Starting point is 00:48:02 We can get rid of that person. We don't need to draw anymore. I mean, we're only two episodes in. So I'm not going to jump to any conclusions. Yeah. Playing devil's advocate here. Everyone else is showing up. They are showing up for work.
Starting point is 00:48:19 They might have some irritating conversations. It might be trivial bullshit. But Georgia is hard hat on ready to go. Yeah. Amira ready to go. Like everyone is doing their job very well. And then you've got Gia who is talking about the unfollowing. Ava keeps bringing up stupid shit.
Starting point is 00:48:37 But at the same time, like she's been a big part of each of these episodes. Like I said, it's two episodes in. We're not jumping the gun here. But all of that to say, I do see what you're saying. I definitely could see them. I think that they have a much longer leash. I think to whack Gia Judice, it would have to take four seasons of this.
Starting point is 00:48:56 And then they'd finally be like, and then they'd have to figure out how to do it gently so Teresa doesn't burn the network down. Brooks, I think the same thing. I think if you have a scorned Meredith Marks, I don't think Bravo wants that smoke. Probably not.
Starting point is 00:49:11 But I agree with you. I see what you're saying. And there is a pretty, stark difference between everybody else on the cast, literally, everyone else. And then he got Gia and Brooks kind of just over here. So that's interesting. Yeah, I agree with that.
Starting point is 00:49:28 And to my point, to your point, to our point, at this party, Gia then, and this to me, all this looked like was, I don't know what to talk about on camera. I got to do something and I haven't done anything. I don't know what to talk about. I don't think I'm totally settled about the unfollowing thing. And even Brooks is like, no, we're not doing this again. No.
Starting point is 00:49:48 So that does point to you and to your point of like, yeah, because that, that's exactly what I thought. I thought that the camera hit her and she's like, I need to say something. I don't have anything. I'll just rehash earlier. Yeah. And this is where it gets annoying because we already like, we already don't like when things that were seemingly squashed get brought back up. So I agree.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I think that's probably what she was doing. What you just said, like, oh, let me just bring something up. I haven't she's probably been in New Jersey for the last couple of days and doesn't have anything to add to the conversation. I haven't talked to anybody else. I just got back. Let me just talk about what I talked about last weekend. That'll probably fly.
Starting point is 00:50:24 No, it's not going to fly. I like Rowan's reaction. Like, yeah, I'm just kind of here. I totally follow along. I totally know what you guys are talking. Like no one cares. We're not doing this anymore.
Starting point is 00:50:34 And if we've learned anything when you start to rehash things that seemingly were squashed, it never looks good for you because now Ava can turn around. And while you were both at a disadvantage before, now I'm going to give the advantage to Ava coming back in, why are we still talking about this? You want to rehash this? Let's keep talking about it. Fine, go for it.
Starting point is 00:50:50 But it's always going to be G as fault. So, yeah, it's just stupid. Yeah, it was dumb. But Hook arrives. Hook is Ava's boyfriend. Now Charlie's not allowed to talk to Ava because he's too flirtatious is what he says. Now, Hook and Ava met through Charlie.
Starting point is 00:51:11 the way that Ava says it is that Charlie talks way too inappropriate to inappropriately to me so we had to set up some clear boundaries but then also says I like Charlie she likes Charlie and I guess when Hook's not around Charlie's like yeah she's like way nicer to me
Starting point is 00:51:33 so again that is showing this character that we have of Charlie where it's like in a group setting people are going to jump and say like, oh, yeah, don't fuck with him. Like he's a dirtbag one on one. He pulls people in. That's the makings of a very, very good reality TV star. That's he could be the next Tom Sandoval.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Oh, boy. I don't know about anything like that. But I do think he'll use that to his advantage because if you have certain conversations with certain people along the way and then we get back to a group setting and now all of a sudden everybody's saying if they don't like Charlie. He can point to each individual person and say, well, what about this? What about that? You don't like me because of this.
Starting point is 00:52:15 Now you're just showing up for this person. So it's very easy to do. It's very easily influenced. And I feel like as long as he stays consistent, which he's been very consistent since he's gotten on the show, there's nothing you can really point to. He's very unbothered by a lot of this shit. You would see a lot of people on reality TV going through a spiral. If someone came over and point blank asked your friends, why are they friends with you,
Starting point is 00:52:35 that you're untrustworthy, that you don't know if they're going to be loyal to you. He doesn't give a shit. he truly does not care about anything that they're trying to concoct, even when they're all snickering in the corner watching him talk to somebody else. Like it's just not bothering him at all. So as long as he keeps that consistency level, he's never really going to be in any trouble on this show. And he's going to win.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Like when it comes to, you know, do I want to side with the group of six whispering in the corner talking shit about this guy or do I want to side with the guy that's standing in the middle like right here? You want to talk about it or no, you don't. All right. Well, I'm going to go over here then. So they're not doing themselves any favors.
Starting point is 00:53:12 And again, like every conversation centers around this because now we're talking about Ariana being worried about Hudson and their relationship. And you get Georgia talking about how he slid in with Omar and all of that stuff. While that's all going on, you have Charlie talking to Prez and this is just a side note. And this is the kind of stuff I'm talking about where I'm like, eh, because Prez is talking to him. It's like, yeah. And the way he talks to, you know, he's talking about. meeting George. He's like,
Starting point is 00:53:41 yeah, you know, we met at a dinner party and that gave birth to this blossoming fiery romance. He said that 100% genuine. That was not ironic. That was supposed to be funny. I hated that. I really hated that a lot. And I'm glad that I think Charlie's like, ho, ho, that's what the fiery romance. He's like,
Starting point is 00:53:57 yes, it is. Fog you, Prez. And of course, you name's Prez. Yeah, Prez. What do you think it's short for? You think it's actually short for President? Presley. God, I hope not. Presley? I guess that's better than president.
Starting point is 00:54:12 That's probably Presley. Oh, boy. That sounds like a rich name too, so. Yeah. Presley, Copa bottom. Can't get behind any of these people, can we? No, but I like them. Like, I know it sounds like I don't, but like it's just the stuff they say, really.
Starting point is 00:54:30 It's just that. But other than that, they're great. It's just the stuff they say and do and live, you know. Yeah, just bothers me. But I like them. But I do like them. It's not their fault, you know, but the episode ends with kind of what I've been talking about because Ariana of all people has not the most beef with Charlie, but good reason to be like, fuck this guy. He spent all last season talking about that he wanted to fuck her.
Starting point is 00:54:59 His words, not mine. He's still talking about that. And he is trying to corrupt her ex-boyfriend, probably. still boyfriend, we still don't know that whole thing, but the one-on-one, what happens? You can't tell me that by the end of that, she wasn't flirting a little bit. Yeah, she definitely was. I think that's what he does. And that's the charm that he's going to bring to it.
Starting point is 00:55:24 And I agree with you. I think Ariana has the most reason currently to be suspicious and also not like Charlie. She doesn't like him because of his comments that he made last year, which a lot of people are under that umbrella, but he's also currently doing something that is looking a little suspicious. Hudson's now under his wing. Why? I don't really understand your intentions. I think I get your intentions, but I can't quite prove it yet until Hudson does something. So right now, you would think that Ariano be in that position like, oh, fuck, like I really don't trust this guy. And yet, by the end of the conversation, not only does it end well, but when we walk back over
Starting point is 00:55:58 and you've got Brooks over here snickering and you've got Ava over there, who's, you know, not really involved, but Riley's laughing as well, they walk back over and Ariana's like, what, what are you guys, I don't understand what's going on here. Like, why are we, all standing around. Why are we all looking at it? Like nothing happened. We had a conversation. That's it. So now not only that, she is also defending her talking to Charlie, which is funny. It's interesting. It's just really interesting. I don't know what to really expect. And that's what's fun about this show too. Normally, I would be like, oh, this is probably going to happen. That's probably going to happen. I don't really know. But it does end with Arianna and a confessional saying there's two sides
Starting point is 00:56:32 of Charlie. One side, he's a big prick. The other side, deep, deep, deep down, he's a good person. that again, and I think this is the theme of Charlie, that's a foot in the door. Yep. And he's got a foot in the door everywhere. Dangerously close to it being explained as a tough exterior with a soft inside. That's what we're getting very, very close to. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:54 But I did not put up questions today because this episode's a little bit behind since we're still reeling it in from vacation. But this week, when we cover it, we will have questions. So save your questions until that. Yep. But we will see where our young adults end up this season. It's a very interesting thing to watch. It does make me feel old as shit. Yeah, it does.
Starting point is 00:57:19 I feel old as dirt watching this show. But anyways, great show. Annoying kids, but great show. And I like them. It's hard. I'm trying to come to terms of it myself. But that's all I got. The other thing else?
Starting point is 00:57:33 Nope. That's our show. Bro. Bros are out of here. Hi, we're Meg Bashwinner. And Joseph Fink. Of welcome to Night Vale. And on our new show, The Best Worst,
