Bros & Shows - Craig Gets Shunned (Southern Charm Full Recap)
Episode Date: January 7, 2025What's up Bros?! We are back in the new year with our Southern Charm recap! In this episode, the group continues to question Craig's involvement in their lives. JT is still feeling the wrath of Madiso...n as he tries to figure out where he stands with most of the group. Now he has the B-Word rumor lingering over him and although he may not be our favorite, until we have evidence supporting it we have a hard time believing that one. Rod recommends that Taylor bring Gaston around the rest of the group so that they can form their own opinions, but we are also wondering exactly what Taylor brings to this show now. Austen is clearly missing his buddy Craig, but at Miss Patricias birthday dinner, Shep and Whitney of all people, question Craig's new life decisions and his commitment to his business. Shep goes as far as to question how much Craig actually does for his company. Austen seems to be caught in the middle of just wanting his friend Craig back, and listening to those idiots bad mouth him and occasionally joining in on the smack talking. Madison defends Craig and makes the statement that maybe he cant be his new self around the old crew... Austen goes to Craigs to try to figure out a way forward with their friendship and while he hasnt been the most supportive of Craig's new life, it seemed to us that Austen genuinely just misses his friend. But Craig gets immediately defensive and doesn't seem to listen to what Austen is trying to tell him. All that and more on today's episode! Learn more about your ad choices. The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is an eight-episode Hulu Original Limited series that blends gripping pacing with emotional complexity, offering a dramatized look as it revisits the wrongful conviction of Amanda Knox for the tragic murder of Meredith Kircher and the relentless media storm that followed.
The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox is now streaming only on Disney Plus.
There's a drive in a deep left field by Castellanos.
Oh, man, it's 8 o'clock.
And so that'll make it a...
I don't need the spotlight.
I shine just fine.
Hi, I'm Karma.
And yes, I am a bitch.
Brov Bros.
Good afternoon, everybody, and happy New Year.
And welcome back to another episode of Brav Bros.
Soon-to-be Bros and shows were just a couple of weeks away from the official rebrand.
but I am your co-host.
Steel Russell, joined as always by the one and only
all-playing Goots.
What's up, pal?
I don't even know what the hell that means.
Like the New Year's song, but Goots.
Oh, yeah, I don't know.
New Year, New Year, New You, like a Hulu Hoop.
Yeah, that's how we're starting off, I guess.
I don't know.
I was not expecting you to start off with a happy New Year
because it is the sixth, which I don't think
It's our first episode of the 25th, 25th, the 25th year of 2000, as I'm referring to it now.
We're going to the 25th moon of the year.
This is how we're starting the year off.
So I'm confident it's going to be a great year because this is good shit.
Welcome back.
This is great content.
Incredible content.
First off, I'd like to say no thank you to Bravo because they decided to give us zero content.
Nobody remembers what the hell is going on.
and then I got a very disturbing tweet update
that there's only two episodes of Salt Lake City left.
So you left us in the cold for two weeks with no Salt Lake
and you tell us there's only two episodes left,
plus probably three reunions, but yeah.
That's crazy.
I didn't think that it was that close.
I thought we had at least a month left.
I guess with the reunion episodes we do,
but yeah,
I thought we had more Roslick to look forward to.
That being said,
there's a lot of shows that are about to premiere,
one of which already premiered with Southern Hospital
which we are also covering today, not in this episode, but another episode.
So there are shows coming in to replace.
I think Summer House comes out soon, correct?
Summer House isn't out until February, but we do have, I imagine, Atlanta is coming out pretty soon.
Obviously, Southern Hospitality just dropped.
We'll be covering the traders, which starts this week.
That starts on Thursday night.
So we'll be figuring out how we want to go about that.
But there is more than a bachelor.
Bachelor comes out soon.
So we get to dip into that world again.
And it's, God, what's his name?
He was from Jen Tran season.
Grant.
It's Grant.
Grant Ellis is going to be the Bachelor, who we loved on the season.
I actually thought he got hosed, but not getting picked.
But we have our theory that ABC went up to him.
It was like, hey, you're the next Bachelor, so you're about to lose.
Because they had that lovely beach date.
I know if you're not a Bachelor fan, you don't know where we're at right now,
but they had this lovely horse riding beach date.
I can't believe I remember this.
I don't remember anything.
Yet I remember Grant Ellis on horseback with Jen Tran.
and then they had a lovely picnic and then he got whacked that same week.
So Grant is The Bachelor, so we're going to do that.
We got Traders.
We got Southern Hospitality.
I feel like there's other ones.
So we're going to have plenty to cover.
But to your main point of Roslick ending, I'm not ready.
This season is too good.
They could have done 10 more episodes.
Remember that year of Beverly Hills where they had like 30 episodes?
Yeah.
They should have done that with this season of Ross.
That's a dangerous game to play, though, because even if it's a dangerous guy,
if it's the best season ever
you run the risk of drawing
things out too long.
So look, I think we can
meet somewhere in the middle because I don't even know how many episodes
there are right now. I think it's, we're at like 15
or 16. So there's probably 16 episodes in the
season. Three, extended
a couple more, just a couple more. We're still in the middle of a trip.
Let's finish off the trip. Then let's get home. I'm sure
there's more to digest after the trip. Give me three more
episodes back in Salt Lake, then go into the reunion
and I'll be a happy camper. Get me to like the middle
of February-ish after football season
and I'll be happy. That's the other part
too. We're about to lose football, which means that
we need these shows more than ever until baseball
starts. So we're dealing with a lot of shit.
But the most important thing
is that we're not here to cover that right now. We're here to cover
Southern Charm, which is still having a great
run. This episode
is mainly, it's starting to get
more Craig-centric the whole season, seemingly.
Yeah. They're starting to point more towards the absence of
Craig, why he's been absent, all of that.
stuff i will say as everybody knows unless you live under a rock page and craig broke up so watching
these episodes now it's like oof it's it's that's kind of awkward it's kind of tough especially knowing
and also i will say this it gives you a much different perspective of things that in the past
you may have brushed off but now of course since we watch these shows to analyze them now i'm
analyzing their conversations i'm like i kind of see it i kind of get it
I think we've always seen it.
We've brushed it off.
It wasn't even, I don't even think it was a brush off because, yes, Steele and I did
stop talking about it.
Anytime that they talked about the relationship and the next steps, there was never
any new information.
So we agreed to just stop talking about it because we don't want to get bogged down by
theorizing about what's going on.
It's, we liked them.
We enjoyed them.
If they were a toxic couple, we would have probably dragged them every time that they
talked about it.
Instead, we left them alone because it seemed.
like they were working through it and they were going to come to some sort of conclusion
and figure it all out apparently that conclusion was we're not meant to be together okay
i respect it we'll move on but it is interesting and i had this thought in the last week
not only are we going to have to go through the entire rest of the season of southern charm where
page is going to play a pretty big role i imagine we also have to go through all of summerhouse
with them together oh shit i didn't even think about that because they just broke up now and
it's fucking january so they went through the entire summer too
do you think they're going to edit a lot of it out you think they're going to keep like full craig in there i think
they'll keep it in there i'm just praying that they don't try to alter the edit to make it look like there's
trouble in paradise when yeah right didn't break up until december so at least from what we know of
the only sketchy thing now is they're alluding to cheating rumors which i don't want that to be true
no i just wanted to be an amical amicable amicable yeah amicle is the word of 2025 uh amicable breakup
where they both just go their separate ways.
We'll see.
Something tells me it's going to get shitty.
I don't know why.
I just have an inkling.
It could get shitty because of the people that are talking about it.
And look,
I mean,
we know how it goes.
Anytime there's a breakup online,
everybody has to pick a side,
even if the people who actually broke up aren't picking sides.
And they're just saying,
you know what?
We agreed together that this was for the best.
You're always going to have somebody supporting one side or the other.
In this case,
I don't want to see that.
But the more content that we get,
and that's why I started thinking about Summerhouse,
there's going to be more people because of Scandival and all of that.
And there were so many episodes where everybody's like,
oh my God,
did you see what he said here?
And you have to overanalyze everything.
They're going to start doing that for the summer house and Southern Charm.
We will try to be the voice of reason.
And it could bite us in the ass because if we try to be the voice of reason,
then something comes out to the contrary.
We look bad.
But here's the thing.
We always look bad.
We always admit when we look stupid.
It's not like we ride.
We don't die on hills.
we just say, whoops, our bad.
Guess we got that one wrong.
Let's move on to the next thing.
We're just watching a TV show.
What do you want us to do?
We're just goofing.
It's just two bros goofing around.
Are you guys take so goddamn seriously?
Is it too late to change the name of the show?
Two bros goofing.
Goofing bros.
Two bros, one goof.
Who's the goof?
Do two bros make the goof?
Yeah.
Yeah, we do.
Cool.
Good, good.
Now we can talk about this episode of Southern Char.
and we start out with Sally.
We get to know a little bit more about Sally.
It was interesting watching this episode of Southern Hospitality afterwards.
I remember Sally now from last season.
She had a little thing with Joe Bradley briefly.
You hear a little Gastone mention in the Southern Hospital.
It's nice, like they're getting to a point now that Southern Hospitality has been around long enough
that you're getting genuine crossovers between the two shows.
And I kind of like that.
I like that we have a central city where you can get the crossover stuff.
But as we know, she's a spinal robot surgeon, which sounds awesome.
I don't know if that's probably not the official title, but I think that's, I'm a robot spine surgeon or I guess what would you.
This is what the important surgeon is probably, yeah, it makes sense.
You have to kind of change the words around.
If you put a robot first, it sounds like she's doing surgery on robots.
Oh, you think she's a robot.
Oh, no, I thought she was a robot.
Oh, if you put it that way.
a robotic surgeon would be just an engineer at that point.
So, wait, what?
Yeah, I don't.
This is the important stuff.
But look, she makes $400K a year.
She don't need no man is kind of the, uh, the whole premise of this scene, which is great.
I love seeing this kind of shit.
She's definitely, she said she grew up old school Southern, you know, she went to
Katillion, all that stuff, Kotolian, whatever you call it, where you go to get fancy,
go to the balls with like the gloves up to your elbows and shit like that.
But she decided along the way, I want to be a boss.
Looks like she's doing pretty damn well in that regard.
So I like Sally.
Yeah, pretty, that makes it sound bad.
But the point is I like Sally.
I think she's a good addition to the show.
But you get Taylor and Rod.
And her house looks like a Jersey Shore rental house.
Oh, God, dude.
Yeah.
It's a cross between when Jen Aiden got her rental down the shore and it was already fully furnished
and she didn't bother doing anything.
and what Ashley Darby did in Potomac
with her seaside escape by the bag.
Yes, yeah.
That's the crossover with all the fucking colors on the wall.
At least it's close to the water.
You know, I don't know.
The fishnet thing is awful and tacky.
But yeah, here's the thing she.
It just says beach in big letters on the wall.
What do you do it?
What I was thinking, and I don't know if Taylor was doing this because I don't really care.
But she was spending a lot of time with Shep.
She had this house while she was with Shep.
she was probably living with chef for the most part was she just an air being this because that
would make sense to me if you want to make it like a beach escape in charleston no the way that she
implies is that she bought this house at 24 she which is like cool i mean that's awesome about a house
24 good for you but she's taking full ownership of the decor so i don't think this was an air being
like she wanted it to look this way i don't know why she wanted to highlight it i love rod is like
tongue-in-cheek talking about it she doesn't pick up on the fact that he's making fun of you and your
design choices here he is on your team we know rod is uh team taylor but he doesn't like the
decor and understandably so but they start talking about gastone his lack of appearances in the group
and he's already got a bad rep because we've heard about him through sally we've heard about him
through shep i mean i'll take shep with a grain of salt sally's been with him yeah we don't know
what the the overall scope of that relationship was because we don't know how long it was
we do it was three months
but as far as were they hooking up
were they dating were they exclusive
was a Facebook official like we don't know
cheating involved so I'm assuming they were
together that's what I'm taking
capacity yeah because you don't say cheating
if you're just hooking up with somebody and they hook up
with somebody else right and she doesn't strike
why don't we have to do this all the fucking time too
because this is what the this is important
semantics no no I know I know but we do
this at every show now I guess it is
it starts getting very semantic
well you're semantic but that's the point
is, look, the point is, she knows Gastone, okay?
Rod is concerned that with Gastone not showing face in the group, everyone's going
to be left to form their own opinion, which we have seen time and time again, and they are
going to do that.
They're going to take what Sally's saying because she is there.
So they're going to listen to her.
Rod thinks the best plan of attack for Taylor is, look, you got to bring this dude around,
let people form their own opinions, which I agree with to some extent.
Like, yeah, that makes sense, allow people to meet the guy.
Maybe he can turn some people on his team.
I have a overarching feeling that this would be a bad thing.
I think over exposure to Gastone is going to expose that he's kind of an asshole.
And I think it's going to drive a further wedge.
But that's just me.
Further wedge with where?
With Taylor and the rest of the group because she's going to defend her man.
And then, which I don't really care.
Taylor could be off the show for all I care.
I don't think that's what I'm getting at.
Yeah.
I think that obviously I agree with Rod.
I think that you have to bring them around because people are just going to
speculate and they're going to talk about them and you can't have another dog party
because God knows we're going to have like three or four more dog parties over the next couple of years.
For sure.
Especially with this show.
You have to bring them around so that people can form their own opinion and not just hear what Sally's saying.
Here what Shep saying.
Here what other people are speculating about.
So I agree with that to some extent.
But the other part of that is I don't give a shit of Taylor's on the show because she doesn't bring me anything.
I just don't care about her storylines.
I don't care about anything she's doing.
She was, and this is going to sound really mean, but she was a one-trick pony.
She was Shep's girlfriend.
That's all she was.
And then she was Shep's ex.
And that's all she was.
Now she's on her own and I don't care anymore.
She's just not doing enough as a person on the show.
So if Rod is right and bringing Gastone in will, you know, create some more narrative and maybe drive a wedge like you just said, I'm okay with that.
Because if Taylor keeps separating herself from the group because they don't want to be around her and Gastone,
okay then what's the point of her being on the show that's kind of what i'm getting out
that's fair i'm curious to see what plays out but moving on we get chef austin and craig
they're getting smoothies talking about macha i don't really know but they're talking about
sienna because craig didn't get to meet the girlfriend chef i don't know what it is with this
with this girl i don't know why he's so head over heels and enamored with her he's talking about
having kids with her he wants to spend more time with her down in the bahamas the fact that he brought
up. Having kids with her was shocking to me. But it leads to the conversation with Craig. And again,
but this is when I have to put my detective hat on because now, obviously, given the news with Paige
and Craig, I'm over analyzing. So he's like, look, we decided to freeze my sperm. The way that
he tells this story is they sat down and had an adult conversation. Hey, what if something happens?
It's better to protect ourselves so we can procreate, make sure that we got these bad boys frozen
on ice for later. Okay, cool. Going to.
the conversation where they're on FaceTime talking about it, Paige doesn't give a shit.
She's like, what? That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Craig frames it to the boys as this
was our decision to make sure that we can have kids in the future when he brought it up to
Paige. And this is kind of her M.O. with every conversation we've seen them have when you break
it down. Every serious conversation. One side is serious. Craig's trying to be serious, trying to have
future conversations, trying to talk about what's next. Every single time.
time it seems like page brushes it off she agrees but she's not really all in she's laughing
making jokes this has been the entirety of their relationship so now we're what three four years
into this thing right close to so now when you hear that it doesn't hit the same as before where we're
like yeah whatever let him figure it out now that we know that they broke up it's like yeah well
understandably so he's talking about major life moves not one time as she brought that stuff up you
know what i'm saying like she didn't call him ever and say hey what's next hey
Should we freeze my eggs?
Hey, should we move?
Like, it's always him initiating.
And I think when we finally get the news of how the breakup happened,
I think that's going to be a big part of it.
It's just her inability to fully buy in, I guess.
And this was kind of a, this was a representation of that in a small conversation.
But he is good at rationalizing in these moments because he's so in love with her
and because he wants a future with her, that the way it comes out is a different conversation.
It makes it seem like two adults sitting down saying, hey, let's do this.
And that's not whatever happens.
Yeah, I think it's easy now because they're broken up to say, well, that's not going
to work or this isn't working.
And this is why it's not working because we've seen this.
But this is more of what we've seen for the last three or four years.
It's always Craig bringing something up.
And it is in itself a good representation, as you said, of both of them.
I mean, Craig is at his heart a conspiracy theorist.
So if he wants to go down the down the road of potentially getting into a car accident
and getting his balls cut off and he wants to freeze his sperm before that happens,
that's going to be Craig.
That's always been Craig.
So that wasn't very shocking to me.
It's very funny that that's how his brain works, but that is how Craig's brain works.
And of course, Paige has always been a little bit more logical, but she's learned to
like laugh it off instead of actually taking him that seriously and letting him go do his thing.
So in this moment, I guess if you want to be the, my detective hat is on because they've
broken up and I'm going to look for these things, I'll be the in the moment.
I don't think it's that big of a deal because it's all more.
of the same of what we've seen.
So there was really no change there in behavior for either of them.
And it's not like, I really do think that at some point, maybe in this or in Summerhouse,
we're going to see something happen.
And I'll point it out where, okay, that's different.
That behaviorally, that's way different.
The response, the reaction, whatever it might be to something that has been very normal
for them and very part for the course.
If one of them has a different reaction, then it's like, all right, now we're starting
to see the spiral.
Now we're starting to see them start to think about it.
But right now, I still don't see that.
At this point in time, between this conversation and the conversation they have later, where Craig is talking about, like, getting a corner for her and doing all of this stuff in his frog, all of those things are still very much how their relationship has worked over the last three or four years. So I didn't really see any change.
That would be the problem in my eyes.
It would be. You are right. I'll be kept behind sight. It's always been like that. Yeah. So we'll have to see. And look, we may never actually get the story. I don't see Craig being the type of guy who's going to go on a podcast and do a tell all. He's not going to do any of that.
And I think Paige has already said what she said.
I think she got on her podcast and talked about it.
And that's really going to be it.
People are going to continue to ask questions, but we're not going to see much more.
So I don't think either of them is really going to spill the beans and we're just going to have to speculate.
But you're right.
If we had to speculate, that is the reason for why they broke up.
And this is a good representation of that.
As we've seen over the last three or four years, you can point to any other conversations about moving down to Charleston,
having kids, getting engaged, all of those things start to bubble up.
You can look at and point at any of those individual things and say, okay, yeah, that's why.
That's why. That's why. And it's all really the same thing if you look at it like generally.

Yeah, and I'm not going to flame either of them.
I still like them both. It's just going to be curious to watch the breakdown of it.
But it was funny seeing the, I don't even know what you call the room, the sample room.
Go hard or go home.
Go hard or go home.
You got this.
There's like a laptop or a desktop computer, which I would never touch.
I would never, you couldn't pay me to touch that computer.
I had a TV on the wall.
God knows what I'm.
it. That's hysterical. The whole set of rubber gloves. We want you to wash your hands before
and after. Please wash them after. Like, please. Definitely after, you know, before, do whatever you
want. But just the motivation, like the little signs that you get from like home goods, like,
you got this. Like, go hard or go home. And like, the worst part is, it reminded me of a baseball
story. Oh, God. Not about, not about giving a sample of that. But we get drug tested regularly,
as you know. And I don't know if people understand.
you get drug tested in professional sports, like the dude testing you literally sits eye level
with your penis and you have to pull your pants down to your knees.
And he's about three feet away from your stuff.
And then you got to pee in a cup so that they make sure there's no tomfoolery happening.
And I was never staged like stage fright guy.
I never got shy.
I always did my business.
Got out.
There was one day.
And it was always the worst because in spring training, if you get pegged for a drug test,
you're not allowed to go on the field until you complete your drug test.
And the minute you walk into the bathroom, which is a big, you know, multiple bathroom stalls, you're not allowed to leave the bathroom until you pee.
So I go to the bathroom.
Like, I'll knock this out real quick.
Go get my cup.
Get my dude sitting there watching me try to pee.
And I couldn't go.
Could not pee for like two hours.
Couldn't pee.
I'm in the bathroom chugging water.
They, it was awful.
I'm chugging water.
They had like the big gatorade jugs.
I'm sitting there chugging water.
I finally get to a point where I'm like, okay, I think I'm ready.
And I go to pee.
And this dude is sitting.
there and I get the streams
going. All right. I got a stream. I'm like,
fuck yeah. This guy
two feet from my penis is like
go, go and claps.
I was like, immediately stopped. And I was like,
what I said to this dude? I was like,
what the fuck? And he was like,
don't cheer it on. I was like, don't cheer
at it. Like, what are you doing? Like,
this took me two hours to pee and now I'm
not going to be able to pee ever again because
you're sitting here applauding my stream. Don't
do that to anybody ever. That was, I was
the most uncomfortable I think of it. And I'm not
uncomfortable very often. I have no shame. That moment I was, I was upset. He cheered at me
whilst urinating. I did not care for it. And that's what this scene reminded me of.
Did he go to pet it? Say, hey, who's a good boy? There you go. I think I have a lawsuit on my hands
if that happened. But he did cheer. Have you ever had your, your dick cheered on by somebody
whilst being? It's very, it's not great. I did not care for it. So yeah, that's what
We don't kinkshame here, but, you know,
hey, do what you want to do it.
No kink shaving, but, hey, it's not for me.
And I hope, I weirdly hope that this dude listens to our podcast.
So he'll know, because he'll not,
because I looked at him and I'll never forget that moment.
I literally said,
only did that for you?
I don't think he's out there cheering for other people.
I would hope that it wasn't only for me.
That would make me feel better because I looked,
I literally looked at him in the face and said,
what the fuck?
He ruined everything.
Is he turned and look at them?
Never mind.
I don't know.
I didn't pee on him.
The stream stopped because you hear me on.
Anyway, we get to Patricia and Whitney because they have to talk about the trust fund baby when he gets all of his stuff when she passes away and her birthday.
But they're going over the responsibilities of the house.
I don't know why we really need this scene.
And I'm sure some people like it.
Because Whitney's a producer and we needed to see it.
I don't need to see it.
I don't care about it.
You know, they're talking about how they're going to loophole death taxes.
Like, this is how rich people stay rich.
I think if Whitney was more likable, we would not mind to see it.
But I just like, don't care.
And I don't like him, so whatever.
Yeah, he's in his mafia track suit with his blonde tips and shit.
Like, I don't care about this scene.
It's literally just talking about how much money he's going to inherit and all this property.
It's like, hey, you're getting a $15 million property.
Can you take care of it?
Here's all the things you have to do.
And he's like, oh, God.
It's like you're 50 years old, bro.
Like, you can handle it.
By the way, it's fairly self-sufficient.
You know, that's the other thing, too.
Like, you don't have to do anything.
I'm sure the accountant handles all of it.
We're talking about picking out lily pads.
for the fucking fountain.
Like, I just can't.
I can't do it anymore.
I'm over.
Honestly, if there's like a lousy accountant out there that's down on his luck and he wants
to embezzle, Whitney's a good target.
Because that motherfucker is not going to pay attention to anything.
He's going to be, he's actually going to.
I thought about this too right before this scene.
And I didn't know this is what the scene is going to be.
But I thought about when and if, you know, if Patricia leaves the manner, if you will,
or if she passes on, what that house is going to turn into with Whitney running it.
God,
he's going to get rid of all the furniture.
It's going to be like a black leather couch and everything like a medieval sex room.
Like his bar in the back does.
Pretty much, yeah.
I'm cool with not ever seen that.
I really don't want to see what the dinner parties look like on Southern Charm.
God,
the decor season fucking 12.
Oh,
no,
I'm good.
I'm good with all that.
But moving on,
we get Leva with JT.
No cane.
He's finally caneless.
So he didn't need sympathy this time.
So,
yeah.
Yep.
So he goes up.
he's talking about the no invite to the party and that Madison lit him up pretty good and again
rightfully so but we did pour some out for JT last time we recorded because that face time did happen now
some people did allude to the fact in defense of Brett that given his treatment and what's been
going on with him that maybe he isn't 100% himself so maybe that's what led to him questioning what
happened in Jamaica. We will forever and always be team Brett and Madison. So I'm going to go with
that because I don't want to think that he's like jealous and weird because I just doesn't strike
me as like what does he have to be jelly? You're like a shredded handsome firefighter. Like you're
J.T. Like come on. Fuck out of here. So or Austin like some big gangly golden retriever like we're
good. You're good. Brett like we're good. But anyway. The Patricia bitch comment comes up and
I will give JT credit again.
He does say
this got Craig all over it.
This sounds like Craig. It was in fact Craig.
We've said this before and we stand
by this until we are presented with
evidence. We will not skewer
JT for this comment because we do not
know it happened. We're actually
on the team of we don't think this happened.
Maybe in passing, I just don't
see it. I still don't think it happened.
Yeah. It doesn't track.
Right. He's a lot of
things. It's more likely that he
would say the letter B then say bitch yeah
patricia's being a B and i can't be not happening yeah i could do i can't see him just
saying no she's being a bitch like that just doesn't it doesn't fit he's a lot of things but that
i'm not going to throw out him no until we get maybe they have that at the reunion it's just like
oh by the way we we found this that bitch it's like oh shit i guess we'll find out but we get to
crag and page on their second face time and this is again throw my sherlock homes hat on because
I'm looking at everything and they're talking about the frog, which I didn't know what that was either front room over garage, correct?
Yep.
Their podcast room as well, I had to giggle a little bit because when he says, Austin doesn't show up sometimes to record in person because it will hung over.
I'm like, look, you show up 90% of the time.
There's a couple of occasions.
So it's not the same thing.
It did make me laugh, though.
I was like, that has happened once or twice.
All of this was just conversations that you and I have had,
where it's like, yeah, it's always better in person.
And I'm like, yeah, it is definitely better in person when we can do it.
But sometimes we can't do it.
But it sounds like they're doing it most of the time, like 99% of the time.
And if we lived in the same neighborhood, yeah, it would be a lot easier.
Like when you used to live close, we did it here every time.
And now it's like, well, it's also holiday related.
Like the past two months have been wacky.
You had the election so you couldn't leave the city that one week.
Oh, my God, yeah.
Yeah, when the rally was down at the 30th Street or the art museum, I mean.
So there's been extenuating circumstances.
is because the usual setup, as you leave work, you come here, you go home.
You haven't really been in the office as much as normal.
So that's why it's been more virtual.
I just thought it was funny because I had to giggle a little bit.
But they're discussing what to do with this room.
And again, this is just more to what I was saying earlier is I'm not going to call it lack of commitment.
It's just lack of interest in the conversation almost.
He wants her to be invested in this room.
This is his ploy to be like, hey, give me input.
And by the way, she's also helped them like design a lot of his house.
which is going to be awkward.
So it's going to be a lot of things that remind him of page,
which is going to be interesting if he's,
I wonder if I'll switch it up or not.
But when I'm watching this,
I'm like he's bringing up these random things like wrapping paper or whatever
just to get you to say,
ooh,
I would like to do this.
All he wants is input to make it feel like you give a shit.
And she really does not care.
She doesn't care about this room.
She doesn't care to give the input.
I want her to care so bad.
but if this was because like you said earlier you pointed out we're playing this game
trying to stay in the moment this is no different than it's always been it should be at this
point it has reached the point where this should be a different conversation than what we saw
this could be a week into their relationship they were having these same conversations and back
then it was like aw like he wants to be more serious and she doesn't and now it's like years
and it's like ah she really doesn't give a fuck
you're right she has had a lot of input in there in the backyard in the kitchen all of those things that we've seen over the last couple of years but this screams to me the like a last ditch effort of like hey do you want your own space here yes and it's probably started we probably didn't see these conversations probably started in the living room probably started in the kitchen with different things that maybe page would want for her own and she's probably just been very you know nonchalant about everything like yeah if you think that's great or i'll give you some input
but it's not going to be my space.
And I think it's just her, which we've seen over the years,
holding on to the fact that she doesn't want to move down to Charleston right now.
It's great that he has a house.
It's great that he's got something to be working on and he's proud of,
but she doesn't want to move to Charleston.
So I think if she gives a little,
then he's going to take a mile from what we've seen.
So I think it's still just her stuck in her own ways about not wanting to leave New York.
And yeah, it would be nice if she had a little bit of input of things
that she's going to be staying there for a while and extended vacations,
a couple of weeks, whatever.
But she's not giving him anything.
and he's still just trying to pull it out of her.
So it is, again, pretty much the same that we've always seen.
And again, you could point to that and say, this is why.
This wasn't going to work because they're still just not on the same page.
And there's just two different people.
And I didn't do that as a pun.
I don't know.
I'm not a pun guy.
So no.
No, that's me.
That's my job.
I'm the pun guy around here.
Everybody knows that.
Everybody that knows us knows that I'm the pun guy.
Also the fun guy.
And before we get to the next scene, I want to take a second to talk about today's sponsor because

And let me tell you, New Year's resolutions come and go.
I think I saw something that said only 8% of people.
people actually stick to their New Year's resolutions.
Is that track still?
That sounds about right to me.
As a personal trainer, I don't want to throw people under the bus,
but as somebody that has had the New Year, New Me crowd, that tracks.
A lot of people tend to fizzle out a little bit.
But hey, it's hard out here.
Yeah, and I've used Acorns in the past.
It's very easy.
It's way better than trying to do a New Year's resolution about going to the gym,
dragging yourself out of bed at 6 o'clock in the morning.
It's pitch black.
It's cold.
Who wants to do that?
Maybe you work out after work.
Still do that.
I'm not telling you not to do that.
But you can also just do Acorns because Acorns only takes about five minutes to set up.
It's super easy.
I've used it before.

But back to business.
We get to Madison, Brett, and Hudson.
They're going golfing.
We get a little update on Brett.
They found a spot on his kidney.
He's got to get biopsied.
Did not share that news with Madison.
Now, we have recently heard he's doing good, right?
Like he's gotten better news since the season.
I'm not positive on that.
I just know that Madison after that episode dropped had said,
Thank you for everybody's prayers and thoughts and everybody reaching out, just
checking you on Brett.
I think she did include something in there just saying, you know, we're still working
for this pretty much, but hopefully they got good news.
Okay.
Well, yeah, I don't want to speculate on that kind of stuff.
But first and foremost, Madison, great swing, stripes that ball.
Oh, yeah.
Even with Hudson talking in the back swing, a little scoundrel.
We don't do that.
Golf etiquette.
Come on now.
But the underlying theme of this scene is that she wants Brett to be a little bit more
open a little bit more honest about what he's going through he comes from a big family he's
not used to sharing his feelings this is a message for dudes everywhere guys it's okay to talk about
your shit you can bring it up you can share what you're going through lean on the people around
you i actually like that they highlighted this scene especially with a dude like brett because yeah
he's a firefighter he's you know jizzled he's manly all that all that shit but i love that
they pointed out the fact where it's like dude share talk about your stuff like this is your
wife she wants to know what you're going to she just wanted to wait when she said you would probably
have gotten the surgery and not told me and he's like yeah yeah definitely thought about it
that definitely resonated with me too because i'm like yeah no i kind of get it you don't want to worry
her if it's not really news but then you're stressing about it and you're acting probably different
because you're worried about it she can notice that you're worried about it so you just tell her look
it's not easy to do but just go ahead and tell her but i did love this scene just because it shows that
It shows a different side of bread.
It shows a different side of their relationship, their little family, get them out on the course,
look at them all swinging around.
They're just having a great time.
Love to see it.
Yeah.
That was a nice scene.
It was a lovely little scene.
But we get to Patricia's birthday.
And the key to a long life is martini's.
This is not the first person.
They interviewed like some 108-year-old woman one time or dude, I don't even know.
They're like, what was the key to long life?
And it was like bourbon in the morning.
I was like, nah.
I tried it.
Well, I think there was a, there was a woman who got to like 108 or 110 or whatever, and her key to life was to stay away from men.
So that's probably smart.
It's probably smart.
That's probably a good call.
Yeah, listen to her.
But I had to giggle a little bit left to the toast.
And, you know, Patricia's like, you're the best son of mother could have.
I'm like, hmm, okay.
But let's move on from that.
You get a story.
The only son I have.
Right, that too.
But you get a little story.
this actually this makes things make a little more sense about uh whitney's in school they
some probably boarding school somewhere gets in trouble because he was a hooligan back in the day
who would have guessed and miss patricia shows up late wearing a fur coat sits down for two seconds
and says boys will be boys it's like okay well now we know why whitney is the way that he is
because even back in the day at some fancy school he was being a shit you went in because you had a
parent teacher conference and you pretty much told the school go fuck yourself on paying you this
much money that's your problem for now which is why people i think send their kids to boarding school
anyway if you're a boarding school parent and you're not like that i apologize if we have some of
those but in this instance i was like okay so even back then she didn't reprimand them like it all
makes sense it's all coming which i kind of assumed but of course i don't like the guy so i'm
going to highlight all that stuff but the whole focus which i thought was kind of weird and again
And we get bits and pieces of, you know, a whole dinner scene.
So who knows if this was actually the main topic of conversation.
But it's all about Craig because Craig's not there.
And then they're saying, well, he was in Sonoma.
You just got back.
Austin, I guess, had talked to him.
And it was awkward because he's like, what are you doing tonight?
And he's like, oh, which also I have to point out.
Craig said, what are you doing tonight?
What, like, do you want to hang out?
Like, that was him initiate.
No, right?
That's important.
I feel like that got glossed.
Very important for the last scene.
Yeah.
That's what I thought.
So Craig asks him what he's doing with the intention to hang out with him.
Austin says, oh, I'm actually going to dinner.
It's Miss Pat's birthday.
Craig feels a certain way about it.
Shep jumps in and he goes, well, he has no right to feel bad.
And if he feels bad, maybe just needs to look inward.
And you get into the stupidest conversation.
I think that there's merit.
Okay.
I think there's merit to the fact.
And I think it's furthered when you get to the scene with Austin and Craig.
Craig can be doing more in the friendships around it.
All right, you don't have to carry on friendships with all these people, but I don't think you can pull out entirely and then just say our lives are different now.
I agree, you can be on a different life path, but if you're actually friends with some of these dudes, some of these ladies, you owe them effort.
You know, at the end of the day, a little bit of effort.
If you're going to pull away from a chef or a Whitney or whatever, people are going to drag you down, by all means.
But I just think that there is some merit to what's being discussed.
I do not think for even a tenth of a second, and I don't even want to sit and watch it.
Shep and Whitney discussing him and what he's doing now because of his business and speculating
about his business.
And Shep's saying, you don't even run anything.
Jerry does it all.
He's just a front man.
He started the company, Dickhead, that's what you do.
You hire people to do the other jobs.
I know he doesn't know that.
I would.
He doesn't know anything about that.
Start your company, hire people to fill the roles that you're free to do things like
be the face of your business.
Like that's just being, so you think Martha Stewart's lugging packages around a fucking
warehouse, what are we talking about here?
So to hear these two idiots go back and forth, like, he's such a dumbass.
He's doing that.
It's like, no, he's making a lot of fucking money.
He's making enough money that he doesn't have to do that stuff.
That's called delegating and being smart.
What I don't need is dumb and dumb or trust fund one and trust fund two talking about Craig's
business.
That was the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
And they're both just speculating about all of it.
I'm like, you guys are fucking dumb.
And neither of you have done anything except take your mom and dad's money.
So shut the fuck up.
Yeah, no, they're both absolutely.
idiots and the fact that
even Whitney says
like yeah he was much more interesting when he was
drinking bourbon no
don't say that like of course you're going to say that because
Whitney would say that and of course Shep is going to agree
and I thought that this season was going to be more of
a Shep trying to prove
to other people that he can be a good
friend and it's not it's just more of the same
he had that one episode where he
blamed them for his dark
times after the reunion okay
fucked up we should have seen this coming
he went right back to who he is he's still
shit talking other people that he's just jealous of, which I'm not surprised about. And no,
Craig is not more boring because he's not drinking permanent. He's working. And I will say one
thing in not even their defense, but overall, we've seen this how many times. When people
stop drinking, they go into working out. They go into doing this and that and whatever. And
sometimes, yeah, you tend to go a little overboard and you stop to or you start to lose sight
of friendships, family, things like that because you're so involved in yourself and making yourself
better that maybe you are a little blind to other things. That's probably what's going on here. He's
not going out being social anymore. He's putting more effort into his relationship. He's putting
a ton of effort into working. That's what's going on there. And yes, he may come back down to
earth a little bit. You've got to give him some time and you have to just talk to him about it and
don't accuse him of anything. And that's not what anybody's doing here. They're all just
immediately claiming that he's doing this and he's not really giving a shit about us.
For Shep, why would he? You need to make the effort, Shep, because you were a shit friend and you
blamed him for coming back to Charleston and just continuing being a drunk mess. That's what you
did to him in the first episode. So why would he now try to make more of an effort? You just
blamed him for your shitty behavior. So no, Whitney, nobody wants to be friends with you in the
first place. You suck. So go away. And Austin being there is part of this. So Austin getting
invited, but Craig didn't is weird. If Austin wasn't there, if Austin wasn't there and Craig wasn't
there, then it's like, okay, it's just Shep, because Shep has a good relationship with Patricia.
Of course, Madison's there. She adores Patricia. Of course, Whitney's there. He, you know,
unfortunately is her son. My, Patricia. Yeah. And then the other people. And it's like, okay,
like whatever and it could have been like a 30 second scene just showing that we're having a dinner party for her birthday whatever let's move on but austin being there is weird when craig's not there and don't put it on patricia to say well you know he doesn't hang out with patricia anymore he doesn't hang out with an 83 year old woman anymore oh my god what's wrong with okay is okay i will actually say
austin didn't jump in and no he didn't like but he didn't last end that much madison did all the defense much i was i was i was proud of madison for jumping in being like we just
focused on it himself right now maybe what did she say i wrote it down because i thought it was
the best way to put it yeah she said maybe he can't be his new self around you guys
which i'm like yeah especially around whitney and chep austin i do think and especially watching
the last scene i felt more for austin i thought i would in this scene as well no he didn't defend
but he didn't pile on last week he piled on a little bit but then reeled it in and just said i
missed my buddy i think that's the root of it for austin i think that's okay i think you look at the
rest of the crew, you get Whitney and Shep, Shep's just jealous, Whitney's just a piece of
shit, and the rest of the table is irrelevant to me. I mean, other than Madison defending it,
but I think that's the biggest thing to take away. Like, this is the new Craig. So you guys are
going to have to get used to that a little bit. Your friendship's going to look a little bit different.
That's okay. Does he need to put a little bit more effort in? Yeah, probably. And that's okay,
too. So both things can be true, but sitting here and talking shit about him at a dinner that he's not
invited to and then you're talking about him not being around but you didn't invite him to the
dinner seems like a dumb conversation to be having but the funniest thing that came from this scene
is a little Shep quote or he says i think you just need to be honest and be human and your
image takes care of itself i'm like you are not honest ever and you are not human you are a big
pile of you have maybe one of the worst images on the show like honestly you even had a chance
to redeem yourself after we sat through last season and the
end of it and the reunion and you talking about your drinking talking about your come to jesus
moment with ayahuasca or whatever the fuck everybody's doing these days to figure out who they are you
came into this season supposedly showing us a new chef it took a half of an episode for you to fall
back in your old ways we're in episode four and you're full-blown old chef again you're drinking
you're talking shit you're jealous you're being rude like you're back on track so for him to say just
be honest and be human and your image will take care of itself it's like okay maybe don't do it maybe
you should not whatever advice you have chap do the opposite yeah because well he knows he has advice
but he's not doing it that's the other point that's a really good point actually but if he was if he was
honest and human i think there would be a lot of people that would actually get behind chip if he would
finally be honest and human i would not yeah it's just frustrating but it's funny to hear him say stupid
shit like that, but...

Austin is on his way over to Craig's house and he gets a phone call from Shep the next day.
And you can tell Shep woke up and it was like, fuck, we talked a lot of shit last night.
And I talked to Craig and Craig said that Austin's on his way over to tell me about all the shit that was being talked.
He's like, I think Madison spilled the beans.
It's like, this is what happens when you sit around a group and talk shit about somebody that's not present.
If somebody there likes that person, they're going to immediately leave the dinner, call said person and say,
hey, guess what everyone was talking about at dinner that you weren't invited to?
You not being around.
So all Shep's trying to do is, like, gauge how much trouble they're in.
I think it's like one of those moves where it's like, you think it's going to be cool, though, right?
And you call me, call me immediately when you leave.
So I have a different perspective on this.
I think that Austin, because, you know, we've seen Austin over the years in very different situations.
And we've said before, he's kind of stuck in the middle of wanting that social life that Shep has, wanting to go out,
wanting to drink and just not really care about anything and still do, you know,
some of the stuff that Craig is doing. So he's kind of caught in the middle in his own life
of having two, one really bad role model and one pretty good role model. And he wants to be
able to do both, but he's not really good at balancing it. And what we're seeing here is Craig is
completely shut off. So if Austin were to go there and actually have a real sit down with him and say,
look, this is where I am. I want to be more like you, but I don't want to do all of the things you're
doing. I still want to be open to the social life. I still want to drink. I still want to have
fun with my buddies.
I think that Craig would actually have a conversation with him about it.
But where we are right now, Craig isn't because Craig is playing defense because all these
people are talking shit on him because everybody's judging about what he's doing and he doesn't
really care and he thinks that maybe Austin's coming over to do the same thing.
I think that Shep is winning the battle.
Sheep is pulling Austin towards him in his direction and making him a worse person, making
him a worse friend to Craig.
And I think that's what we're seeing.
And I feel bad in a sense because Austin is stuck.
You can't just go full Craig.
And that's where you're going to meet Craig.
That's where you're going to get your buddy back is by going to his house all the time to do the podcast, going to his house all the time to watch a game.
He doesn't come over to your house.
So you're going to have to make the effort all the time.
And that is tiring.
I get that.
That's annoying.
You don't want to be in that position as a friend.
So you don't really know how to go about talking about it.
And instead, you're just kind of airing your grievances to a person like Shep, to a person like Whitney.
And they're giving you terrible advice because they want you to continue to be like them.
And Austin's not in the same position as the other two.
He doesn't have a trust fund.
He can't just fall back on his laurels and just have all of this money,
just piled away for him somewhere and just move on with his life.
He still has to work for it.
So he wants to have that work ethic, but he wants both and he wants balance.
Unfortunately, the other end of the spectrum isn't balanced.
Shepp is not balanced.
You can find somebody else maybe that is a better representation of balance,
that can do both things, but neither of them are.
And unfortunately, I feel like he's just getting pulled in that direction.
And that's kind of what we're seeing, especially in this last scene.
Yeah, and I think when you listen to how he's asking and like what he's saying to Craig, like, he's like, I miss my buddy.
And I feel like that went over Craig's hit because Craig again, he's like drinking buddy was just like redacted.
And he's like super defensive because he knows people are talking shit.
He's like, you guys are talking about my absence at dinner.
I wasn't invited to like, do you get how crazy that is?
It's like, yeah, but they're talking about just overall your presence in Charleston has been noticeably less.
but when Austin says I miss my buddy I'm like Craig you don't need to get defensive at that
dude yeah it's kind of a try for help yeah he's saying like yo I just want to hang out with you
like you're not on my lunch call list anymore and Craig's like when's the last time you asked me
to lunch it's like you're missing the point like you've reached a point in this relationship
and that's what Austin's trying to say it's like we've gotten to that point I'm not calling you
for lunch because I know the answer yeah so I'm not going to waste my time like you want me
to invite you to stuff so that we can still have this relationship
but I know if I invite you, you're going to say no.
For example, I said, yo, let's go golfing for five, or let's go golfing on Sunday.
You called me on Saturday and bailed because you, quote, unquote, don't want to waste five hours on a golf course.
And then I see an Instagram video of you spraying plants.
Yeah.
So, yeah, that stung a little bit.
Yeah, I get that.
Yes, I see what he's saying.
Craig, if you don't want to golf, don't agree to do it, but also understand that you can take an afternoon to go hit some balls with your buddy.
Yeah.
And you're not going to fall behind.
in your business.
So I think that's where the give needs to come in.
And Craig being like, I want to watch the game at my house, not at a bar.
Okay, fine.
Meet in the middle.
Watch one game at your house.
Watch a game at the bar.
Just because I do it all the time.
Just because we go to the bar.
I don't drink.
I love watching the game at the bar with you guys.
I don't do it all the time, but I do go sometimes.
Like, that's all it takes.
Just a little bit of effort.
And the other weird thing is, and when he's going through how presty is for time and he
doesn't want to get behind on things.
I get that.
You're running a business.
You're trying to grow it.
You're doing all of these.
things you have a podcast on top of everything fine that's great don't use that as a representation
of friendship and say hey yeah we do the podcast all the time together like you and i don't do that
like yeah this is still work for us like we don't hang out and just chat about whatever you know
before and after we will but it's not the same thing and craig saying you know all i want to do is
work my ass off do the podcast and fuck my girlfriend which was kind of funny at the time i don't
think that's how i think it and this is like there was no trauma i didn't think i didn't
sense of comment there was i think he was saying and like fucking my girlfriend i don't think it
was fucking my girlfriend i really thought it was could have been i think it's a lot funnier if it was
but still here's here's the piece of that though if you had a and i'm not taking a dig at them i know
they broke up if you had a present girlfriend that lived in charleston that lived with you fine
you're going to be with her more than anybody else you don't really have time to do that your girlfriend
lives in new york buddy yeah fill that time like yeah you're filling it with work and
podcasting and gardening, but you can fill some of that time with friendship.
And he's not knocking the hustle.
I'm not knocking the hustle either.
But you don't have a girlfriend that lives with you.
There's time there.
If she lived with you, you would a thousand percent be spending time with her.
You wouldn't be working and inviting her to come garden with you because she probably doesn't
want to do it.
You're going to make sure that you have time for her.
And I get that your girlfriend in Austin are on different levels, but you can use maybe
20% of that time to go do stuff like play golf.
Who doesn't want to get out of the house and stop working for a little bit in place?
golf. I knew all the time when it's not snowing out, but it's snowed here. That's what we want to do. And he's just not doing any of those things. And that's why I said earlier, he stopped drinking. He stopped doing the whole social life thing. And he just went too far into the work. And he doesn't have time for anything else because he has a girlfriend. And I wonder where he is now. He doesn't have a girlfriend. Obviously, you know, him and Austin opened that bar together, which I've heard is awesome. But they open that bar. They open that, yeah, they open the restaurant together. And I've heard it's great. I wonder where he is now. He doesn't have the girlfriend anymore. Is he just working twice as hard now?
because he's not spending time on FaceTime with Page.
Like, I don't know.
And that's really all Austin's trying to do.
And we've seen Austin go through conversations like this before.
He doesn't know how to articulate.
And he does get a little too sensitive, but they both do.
So I'm not going to knock either of them.
It's just kind of where they are.
They're just not.
I think Austin's having a hard time speaking and Craig is not hearing what he
saying.
And they're having a hard time listening.
Austin's having a hard time speaking.
But I think Austin's done a decent job.
I just think that like you said in the beginning of this conversation,
And when Craig hears, I miss my buddy, Craig equates that to, oh, you miss drinking together.
Like, no, I think he just misses his friend.
And I think he's doing an okay job articulating it.
I think what ends up happening that shoots him in the foot.
Like you said, he gets pulled this way by Shep.
And when this conversation comes up with Shep, it's then met with a bunch of negativity.
Oh, he wants to be Martha Stewart.
You don't even do anything, blah, blah, blah.
I don't think Austin has, like, negative thoughts about Craig flourishing.
I really don't.
I think he wants some of that.
And I think he wants to be some of that.
I think at the end of the day, all I'm really getting from Austin is like, yo, I miss my friend.
Like, that's it.
But it gets muddied because of dumb and dumber, Whitney and Shep talking shit.
Then it looks a little bit different.
But at the end of the day, all I gather from this is I miss my friend.
Craig can't hear that because he's like, I'm on this journey of business,
making money, which is great, dude.
That's awesome.
Genuinely, your business is thriving.
You're kicking ass.
That's awesome.
But at the same time, all he's saying is I just want to hang out with you sometimes again.
Like when we're not podcasting, and I think that's even furthering Austin's point,
if you have to defend the fact that you still hang out because we podcast twice a week,
like you and I will still watch games together.
You and I will still hang out like we don't just do this.
I think if it got to a point where I was saying to you, what do you mean?
dude we hang out all the time we podcast five nights a week i'm like fuck we need to hang out more we're
not hanging yeah that's that's what i took her i don't so i don't think i'm not like anti craig on
this i'm not anti austin i think they're on two different wavelengths i think austin just misses
his friend and craig gets defensive because he equates that to oh you're you don't like my new
life and say i don't think that's it really i think he just no i don't think it is yeah and again
the combination of being struck by Shep, if you will,
and also not being able to articulate,
as he never has been able to articulate,
is really shooting him in the foot
and kind of giving Craig a little bit more of a leg to stand on,
which is, you know, tough to watch,
because I don't want to see friends, not be friends anymore.
I mean, you, especially those two.
I think they're funny.
Yeah.
But let's get to some questions.
We'll start with this one from PR95 underscore 50.
Thoughts on JT.
I think he's a douchebag, but he makes it interesting.
thing. Honestly, it's interesting to me that this is the season that J.T. bows out of.
As far as J.T. goes, this is the best we've probably seen him. Yeah, he's still irritating and
annoying, but like, he's not bad. If this was J.T. all the time, I've said it three weeks
in a row now. Like, I'm fine with that. He can stay on the show as long as he wants. He doesn't,
it's not the look at me moments. It's more of him trying to, I'm actually on his team with
this one where it's like, I don't think he called her a bitch. And he's getting a lot of shit for
that so i don't i don't know it's it's definitely kind of weird too and and i wonder because
during that scene where he's sitting there talking to leva at the end of it leva suggests that he
needs to go talk to craig and he doesn't really want to he doesn't want to address his issues
head on even when he is the brunt of it he's the issue here or craig you know started the whole
thing about him calling patricia a bitch you would normally want to call somebody and defend yourself
and say what the fuck i didn't say that but he doesn't even want to do that when it's defending
So I think it just kind of comes to a head.
Now I do wonder if later in the season, I know they go on a trip.
I think they go to Mexico or whatever, if it gets really bad for him.
But right now it just kind of looks like he's put in situations that he doesn't want to be put in.
And this one wasn't even him.
I mean, yeah, he did a lot of other things that kind of led to that.
But this particular one was not him.
So I do wonder if it just kind of eats away.
I'm like, I don't want to be in these positions anymore.
I got to get out of here.
Yeah, maybe.
Which I mean, I can understand that's probably how to get old at some point.
Listen to us on JT's team.
Yeah.
uh let's see from dina jacobs 41 would either of you freeze sperm if if if a situation called
for it yeah i'm not sure yeah i don't know like if that dev and i needed to yes yeah i the room
freaks me out i don't i think that would be the room definitely freaks me out yeah but you know
we'll cross that bridge we'll talk about it if one of us ever does it i need your uh the guy who was
watching what i need him to be there i need you i need you
You want that guy?
You want that dude?
I need that guy.
I don't want him in the room,
but I want him outside the room clapping me on.
Routing you on.
I don't think it helps.
It didn't help me.
Even the headphones in that room.
Gross.
Yeah.
See,
that's what I'm like,
why is there reusable stuff?
I don't like that.
You think people are washing their hands after they take the headphones off.
Oh,
God.
They have to,
I don't even want to,
I don't want to keep talking about it.
Take a black light into that room.
Oh, God.
I'm so sorry.
Let's see.
Let's do a few more.
we got from oh okay like this from terra mvf how hard will it be to watch the rest of the season knowing
craig and page are done you got to change your perspective yep you can either do what shooters
doing and stay in the moment or you can do what i'm doing and play hindsight i think hindsight's more
fun i think shooters trying to be more rational which i understand i'm just no i'm just trying to balance
the show really i get okay oh nice we're to take one for the team pal yeah i think you just got
you got to shift how you're watching it for like knowing that stuff it's like it's kind of like
I don't want to even equate it to Scandibald because it's such a different situation.
Yeah.
But we knew what was going on going into that season.
So there's a way to do it.
But yeah, you just got to shift your perspective a wee bit.
From Make Bravo fun again, Molly and Craig, you guys shipping this as hard as I am?
Has there been, is there Molly and Craig movement?
I don't think so.
I mean, look, I really like Molly.
That could be interesting.
I don't know.
Yeah.
I have no idea.
We haven't seen enough of anything.
All we know is that Craig and Pays broke up.
Let's slow down.
Yeah, the paint's not dry on that one.
Let's relax.
We're all still dealing with this.
All of us.
We're all going through it, right?
Yeah.
Even think about us when they broke up.
What the fuck?
We've been cheering them on for years.
Let's do one more.
Now, you know what?
I'll do this one just because I think this is fun.
From Rags.
The golf course Madison or a fan went to was my parents hood.
Shout out Dunes West.
There you go.
We shouted them out for you.
It looks like a great chorus.
Yeah, it did.
It looked beautiful.
So you can let your folks listen to this and be like, hey, you guys are on a podcast.
I wish you wrote their names down.
We could tell you what their names were.
What's your name?
I'm going to snoop now.
Yeah, I was going to go with rags.
It's taking too long.
Lauren,
Lauren, tell your folks that Dunes looks beautiful.
And we wish we lived in that neighborhood.
We actually know, no, I take that back.
We would have zero podcasts for you guys because we would.
would golf all day, every day.
All the time. Like literally wouldn't stop.
We would lose our house just to maintain our membership.
Yeah.
Yep.
So yeah, it's better.
Yeah, we don't live in dunes.
But hey, shout out, Lauren and your folks and their beautiful neighborhood and golf course.
But, uh, yeah, that's all I got.
You got anything else?
Nope.
Well, yeah, let's not prolong this.
We got another episode to do.
